it was a hectic afternoon in the heartslabyul dorm and as always riddle was running around being riddle , an overbearing and controlling drama queen . how could i not take the chance to leave the millisecond it came up ? how could i not hideout mess with magicless prefect ?

in contrast to my dorm , the sky in ramshackle had a bleak overcast , only highlighting the rundown building . as i drew closer i could hear snippets of a song all the way from the front door , " . . . you please . i ' m on the floor on bended . . . "

i banged on the door before yelling , " i ' m coming in ! " i knew that it wouldn ' t hear me but hey , how am i supposed to alert that to my presense if all it can hear is , " it was your ignorance that formed a beast with your wit ! "

" how the hell do you enjoy having your eardrums blown , kid ?! " i shouted , no longer able to hear myself as i came to the room that was located in and had to cover my ears . next to a chair was a speaker as tall as its damn knee .

it took a moment before that noticed me and rushed to turn it down . now , instead of an incoherent torrent of sound i heard , " it ' s time to be bad ; cigarrette smoke , lipstick on your face . . . , " it ' s a nice song , probably something i ' d listen to in my freetime .

" ya need something , dude ? " it asked .

" duh , why the hell d ' ya need the volume so high for ?! " i exclaimed .

with a shit-eating grin and magically appearing sunglasses ( 😎 ) that giddily replied , " it ' s music hours , baby !! let ' s go !! woo !! " it then proceed to turn the volume up as welcome to my parents' house by ninja sex party came on and i joined in their enthusiastic vibing .

It's been raining a lot here lately, the clouds turn to this really nice sea-green color, so I wanted to make something inspired off of that! The music used here is "Learning Spy". I was listening to it while coloring n thought it suited the rain-vibes nicely.

ok i do need to ask, do we like KNOW know that some egg admins have been playing as other silly npcs during this downtime or are we speculating. like i've seen people identifying admins with varying strength of basis since the eggs first existed but like. for a while there anytime an npc spoke portuguese everyone thought it was richas and then occasionally it would be agent 18 lmao so. . . are we doing that now or do we like Know lmfao

oh and to be clear i do mean varying strength; people were apparently spotting a leo admin's speech patterns earlier and since leo has such a distinct pattern (tho i'm not fluent in spanish LMAO) i'm inclined to believe that. but yea for a while people seemed to think portuguese=richas and to be fair there weren't many non-english npcs for a WHILE and really no portuguese besides richas (that we knew of) but it does mean i'm a bit more skeptical now when the audience starts trying to clock npc admins lmfao

I like fall out boy and patd as much as anyone else but theres a ~vibe~ to ppl who are still like batshit insane abt these groups who go out of their way to be like “im a cool adult i used to be emo” that i cant put my finger on

Tho, these playlists are more for the canon characters than the fic but that doesn't mean they don't influence how I write the characters, they each have a song that I associate with their fighting style to make writing fight scenes easier too Casey jr.'s and the present day turtle's playlists are more about their personalities/emotions and the vibes they give than specific events but for Future Leo, his is more of a distinct/specific timeline of events and the emotions he feels during them and it is definitely the longest of the playlists. man popstar: never stop never stopping just *gets* the popstar documentary format. so many absolutely perfect little details. it makes all the ridiculous jokes all the more funny bc they're both completely, hilariously implausible and worryingly true-to-life at the same time. it has so much heart at its core, for the characters and for the popstars it's making fun of. and for all those reasons, it holds up as a genuinely good movie as well as a funny watch.

I just found out that the majority of the music I used to listen to back in my "emo phase" was actually nu-metal. I don't know what to do with this information
