Você estava de mau-humor. Hope havia matado todos no porão enquanto você ficava na sala com a cara fechada. Hope passava todos os seus dias correndo atrás do que sabe-se lá o que ela está procurando e não dava nenhum pingo de atenção para você.

Ela está sem humanidade, okay, mas mesmo assim te mantém como esposa com afinco. Então a ruiva sabe muito bem que vocês têm um relacionamento extremamente sério e deve agir de acordo.

Assim que Hope subiu para cima, suas roupas sujas de sangue e seu rosto respingado, o que você não queria admitir, mas achava atraente.

A ruiva foi diretamente até você e cruzou os braços esperando alguma explicação para o que havia acontecido.

— O que foi? — Você resmungou.

— Disse para você não me atrapalhar, por que desceu lá sabendo que não ia gostar do que ia ver? — Perguntou irritada.

— Porque eu queria falar com você!

— Sobre? — Ela mudou de posição, colocando as mãos na cintura.

— Quero sair. — O pedido foi simples, mas Hope de imediato revirou os olhos.

— Estou ocupada! — Ela estava dando as costas já, o que te estressou mais ainda.

— Então eu saio sozinha! — Você disse se erguendo do sofá com raiva.

Hope sentiu inquietação perto do coração e suspirou cansada.

— Vou apenas tomar um banho, espera aí.

— Porque você é tão seca comigo? Você está sem humanidade, mas com certeza lembra como e ser carinhosa com alguém. — Você perguntou enquanto tomava mais um gole do milkshake que Hope havia comprado para você.

— O que você achou de seca que eu fiz? — Ela perguntou confusa.

— Tudo! Você não me trata como algo diferente de um lixo! — Você respondeu indignada.

— Muito pelo contrário, eu te dou muito de mim e da minha parte amorosa! Se você fosse igual os outros para mim, já teria arrancado sua cabeça pelo quanto você me dá trabalho.

— Você é tão má... — Você repetiu a frase de antes, fazendo beiço e dando as costas para a esposa, indo com seu copo de milkshake para dentro do carro.

— Eu sinceramente não entendo. — Hope murmurou para si mesma enquanto negava com a cabeça.

Day Three - Nine of my favorite characters and why.

(None of these are in order)

Hope Mikaelson

This girl deserves the world and the absolute best. I only watched legacies for my girl hope. She is so strong willed and powerful despite the show downgrading her abilities. She was the only character I actually liked. She sacrificed herself so much for the other characters and when she decided to be selfish and choose herself for once, everyone hated her, even fans. That’s why so many don’t like season 3 hope, I get we were all tired of the same repetitive story but she chose to be selfish and go after what she wanted. I love this girl so much and I see her in me so much with her actions, how she acts, etc.

Regulus Black

Fanon Regulus is the love of my life. I absolutely adore this man. This is mainly for my reality shifters. My Regulus, the Regulus I shift for is such an amazing person. He deserves the world and deserves to be happy. He’s been through so much, the abuse of his family, the loss of his brother and being so utterly alone his entire life. I sympathize with him so much, and am so saddened that things could have been so different for him if some things changed.

Daenerys Targaryen

THE RIGHTFUL HEIR TO THE IRON THRONE. She did not suffer through everything she went through only to not sit on that damn chair. It was sexist and just disgusting. The north was so ungrateful to her, I understand wanting to be independent but they would’ve been destroyed had daenerys not gone to winterfell. The north owed her some appreciation and support. Daenerys wanted to change the world for the better, she was a good queen and this woman will always have my support. The north really screwed her, and so did the whole jon being a targaryen storyline. All in all seasons 1-5 are the only canon seasons seeing as GRRM hasn’t released any other books so I have faith that he won’t ruin this.

Tewksbury

Tewksbury my love. He’s so golden retriever. I adore him so much. He’s a just and faithful lord, with a good heart and deserves so much love and happiness. He’s such a beautiful soul and despite not being a violent person, he’s always willing to fight for what is right.

Rhaenyra Targaryen

BEHOLD THE WORK OF RHAENYRA THE CRUEL. Actually stfu and bend the knee to your queen. The realms delight. I get she does some war crimes, blah blah blah, she has every right because Alicent was jealous and petty. Rhaenyra was a grieving mother and daughter. She retaliated in a way anyone would have. Men are praised and cheered for when they commit such acts as rhaenyra, but when she does it because she’s a woman she’s mad and emotional. I will defend her with my life, she is my queen. I will always stand by a Targaryen.

Kaz Brekker

Kaz “Bastard of the Barrel” Brekker. He’s so funny, his side eyeing and his dramatics. Kaz is just genuinely so funny to me. At the same time though, he’s cold and calculating and he is intelligent. I love his character and his past, how he develops as a character. He’s such an interesting character that I can’t help but be mesmerized by him.

Yennefer

I LOVE HER SO MUCH. Absolute badass. Now I have not played the game so I can’t comment on her character in the game, please don’t hate me but I adore her character in the show. I love how she grows as a person and every choice she makes and her motivations. Everything about her is so interesting and I love her so much.

Katherine Pierce

The manipulator. Her drive. Ambition. Everything she did in order to protect herself and to survive. Everything Katherine did, in a way, was justifiable. She protected herself, used her resources and gained knowledge in order to get her way. She was the smartest character on the show. I get she was supposed to be the villain but how can she be a villain when she was only trying to survive, just as every other character was doing. Katherine Pierce deserves some praise and respect.

Wednesday Addams

I love every single version of Wednesday. I just find myself relating to Jenna’s Wednesday more than the others. I enjoyed her character so much, the way she was curious, witty, calculating, logical, and intellectual. She was such an interesting version of Wednesday and I actually did enjoy her character.

Why I See Myself In These Characters?

These characters are a display of who I am as a person and why they have become my favorite characters. So I am listing traits about myself from each character that correlates with myself. (These are positive and negative traits and I’m being honest)

Strong, Independent, Resilient, Determined, Ambitious, Stubborn, Logical, Cold, Persistent, Adaptable, Vengeful, Idealist, Cruel, Innovative, Perceptive, Generous, Cautious, Confident, Short Tempered yet Patient somehow, Ruthless, Headstrong, Self preserved, Charming, Manipulative, Cunning, Sadistic, Dark, Impulsive, Lack of remorse or empathy.

So, I’ve been rewatching Legacies from the beginning on Netflix and this is the first time I’ve actually sat down and rewatched it all (I’ve rewatched some episodes, but never the whole show) and it just solidified my intense dislike (I don’t like the word hate) for Josie Saltzman. From the beginning she had made herself out to be a victim and Lizzie the bad guy, when in reality SHE was the bad guy. I’ll list my examples below:

• Was Lizzie oblivious sometimes? Yes. But Josie constantly made it out like Lizzie purposely “took” things from her when in reality she just never opened her mouth and said she wanted them.

• In the AU ep when the girls went to Mystic Falls High and their personalities were meant to be switched, Josie wasn’t just a little oblivious, she was downright CRUEL to Lizzie and let all of her “friends” bully her too.

• Not only did SHE set the fire in Hope’s room, (albeit by accident) but SHE purposely alienated Hope and Lizzie because she was jealous and didn’t want Lizzie to “take” Hope. If it had been a guy who purposely alienated a female love interest to keep her for himself, people would go nuts.

• Adding onto that, SHE told everyone about Lizzes mental health issues and called her all those awful names behind her back.

• Also, when she said to Lizzie “how could I like someone who would say such awful things about my twin?” and then proceeded to date Penelope, who blatantly bullied Lizzie and made fun of her mental health issues.

• And let’s not forget that SHE read her sisters diary to the other witches and made fun of not only Lizzie, but Hope as well behind their backs. And her excuse for reading the diary in the first place was that she knew something was wrong and just wanted to understand. So, she was old enough to understand that her sister was going through something, yet still read it to the other kids and bullied her for it.

• She was ALWAYS reminding Lizzie of how selfish she thought she was no matter how hard she tried to change.

• She was constantly making snide remarks about Lizzie’s mental health and blaming her for her issues.

• And finally: Dark Josie. Dark Josie was NOT a separate person. It WAS her. All of the things she did (like killing Lizzie) were things that she deep down WANTED to do. It wasn’t like a vampire without humanity who just does things cause they don’t care, she actually felt all of those things deep down. All the dark magic did was take her ability to keep herself from doing them.

• There are probably a million other points I could make, but I’m gonna stop here.

So, this is just MY opinion. You can like whoever you want and ship whoever you want, but this is my take on the character.

Josie, Lizzie, Kai and the darkness

Josie and Lizzie

Through the series the twins had a chance for mutual growth and make serious steps in understanding each other. However their relationship improved is far from perfect. With an absent mother and an alcoholic neglecting father. Bringing Josie to a position feeling responsible to alleviate Lizzie’s intense outbursts. Primary carrying the burden of essentially taking care of her mentally ill sister. Which proves damaging for a number of factors. Considering the fragile of their age she was unable to understand the extent of Bipolar disorder. Resulting in Lizzie not getting proper help and her own sense of self starting to decay. Suppressing her own needs and emotions in order to aid her sister.Josie clinged to it, the only way she used to be seen, taking care of others. In order to pravail her indenity.Something that Lizzie exploited both unconsciously and deliberately.

Learning about the merge and Penelope leaving caused a major drift in their relationship. Lizzie is at loss feeling completely estranged from her sister for first time. She befriends Hope and adapts more easily. Working hard on herself trying to mend things. Hope was the reality check she needed. Yet it wasn't enough to close the gap between them. There was so much resentment and unresolved feelings. Partly because Josie didn't open up choosing to deflect, too accustomed in Lizzie not listening. Falling back in old habits, they talk about it but not really. It's superficial. Outreaching both Josie and the progress Lizzie made. It isn't one separate thing. It's their whole relationship that needs recalculation. All her life plans alighted with Lizzie. Only to learn later on that whatever choice she made lead to this horrific event. Her self preservation arises and is so alien and forgein to her that she creates an outlet for it (dark Josie).

Josie, Alaric and Kai

How more appealing the narrative could be If only took a different route. One that would explain her relationship with Alaric and his odd treatment of her.Whatever half-resemblance of family tie they maintain it's due to her own efforts. The show makes it apparent that she resembles Jo the woman Alaric loved dearly but she isn't the only one who Josie looks alike. He can't bear watching Kai's features intertwined with his wife's heartwarming smile. The twins being unaware of why and how their uncle killed their biological mom. Both Alaric and Caroline are inclined to discuss it, contributing in the already toxic environment.

Throughout their entire childhood a mystery envelops something so grotesque and terrifying too close to Josie for comfort . Shaping certain parts and aspects of herself. Interprerating her dissociation for sociopathy. Both being coping mechanisms that develops in childhood due to severe abuse or neglect. Explaining the role of martyr that she so eagerly takes on, projecting inwards all her Father's treatment. Being too invested in justifying his actions. Above all she wants to do good and wants desperately to be loved. She still lifts the curse without remembering Hope. Seeking comfort in the most unusual places. Jade who hurt her family, Hope who could never reciprocate her feelings.Even her relationship with Landon was crossed over.

The loss of stakes

Even though I enjoyed them, their interactions were dull at best, with no depth in them. So much potential was lost. Lizzie, with all her wit and sharp remarks, would have been more suitable for these scenes. It would make them far more entertaining. Now picture this: Josie confronts Kai with a certain mindset. A new kind of fear that she's only known since she came to the prison world emerged. A more intimate,dawning horror settled against her bones, recognizing prominent parts of herself in him and bringing her to the harrowing realization that she doesn't hate them. According to her father, she ough to revile every part of Kai. When that doesn't happen, it's terrifying. Instead, josie is partnering up with him, defying her father and forging a queer kinship with her uncle, confirming all her insidious fears. Fundamentally, proving what and who she is can't be good, meaning her reasoning can't be trusted. While what she views as her darkest inclinations in reality are emotions like anger, jealousy, or her instinct for self-preservation, accepting them requires a certain level of awareness and a stable sense of self she isn't accustomed to. This could manifest as the breaking point, ultimately driving her to dark magic.

— Você é tão MÁ! — Você gritou antes de começar a chorar alto.

Hope piscou os olhos várias vezes, surpresa com seu surto repentino.

— Porque diabos está chorando? Eu não fiz nada para você. — A mulher perguntou franzindo o cenho, se sentindo irritada por seu comportamento infantil, mas algo em seu peito também apertava ao te ver chegar ao limite desta forma.

— Porque você matou ele? — Você perguntou apontando para um dos três homens que estavam amarrados em cadeiras no porão da casa. Um deles estava morto porque Hope havia arrancado o seu coração.

— Porque ele não me deu as informações que eu queria.

— E isso é motivo para matar alguém?

— Sim? — A Mikaelson respondeu como se fosse óbvio.

— Você é tão cruel, você é tão cruel. — Você repetia sentindo seus olhos arderem. Já fazia duas semanas que você estava com Hope sem humanidade, e você por ventura acabava vendo muitos cadáveres que Hope deixava por aí. Normalmente você só engolia uma saliva com dificuldade e passava por isso, mas parece que neste dia você estava mais emotiva. — Cruel, cruel, cruel. — Você falava entre soluços enquanto saia do porão correndo.

O silêncio que ficou entre Hope e os dois ainda vivos amarrados foi de certa forma vergonhoso.

— Mulher difícil — Um dos caras comentou, fazendo a ruiva concordar.

— Um pouco...
