🌱🌼🌾 Summer Solstice 🌾🌼🌱
I’ve wanted to get back into comics ever since I graduated Folkehøgskolen (Folk high school) 8 years ago, and aside from small projects with friends and some doodles here and there, this is my first solo foray back into it!
Introducing Willow and Khalan, the first iterations of them at any rate - two of the main characters for the slice of life fantasy romance story I’m currently working on :) I’ve already redesigned them a bit since this was made back in June, but I hope you’ll like them all the same!
Willow was abandoned in the woods as a baby, and a kind witch took her in. In her childhood Willow befriended another gentle inhabitant of the forest; a dweller named Khalan. The two of them miiiight like each other more than friends though 😌💕
I've been working on Willow and Khalan's story for a little while and I haven't gotten too far yet, but I'm plotting stuff constantly while doing other things. I'm very excited to share more with you guys hopefully soon 😤

The People of UltraMerica VS Johannes Factotum (take 2)
From Issue #26 of TyrannoMax. (original version here)
Process under the fold.
Converting the old photobash/style transfer version into comic art was done with my usual comic process. Elements were generated in chunks via Dall-E 3 and Midjourney, composited, reduced down to lines, re-inked, and then colored and captioned from scratch, before aging is a applied.
The pie packages themselves were inked over the photomanips (and I updated the ones in the hostess blurb from the last panel to match the style of package from panel 4, something I'd skipped originally and always bugged me).
Multiple prompts and elements per panel.
