Taiga and Noriyo's story is one of my favs in general that we've written together, and now I get to see this special moment immortalized through Uni's pretty art aah 😭💖 thank you for the wonderful gift!! 💐🙏
🎐 A Token of Friendship 🌸
"Many years ago, you helped me overcome my fears. You owe me nothing in return for helping you, my friend."
Today is @vesprynna 's birthday, and as always that means birthday art! This year featuring her blue Oni Taiga, sharing a moment of quiet with his love Noriyo, and his tengu friend Minoru.
The two youkai both share a bond over struggles living with mortals. Many years ago Taiga helped the younger tengu overcome his fears, to face the person he loved, which allowed them to eventually start a life together.
Now Taiga struggles revealing his true self, and he even struggles to accept that Noriyo loves him regardless. But together they remind eachother that their struggles can be overcome. Minoru offers Taiga another feather, like he did as thanks all those years back. But this time it's because they are friends.

To imagine that 20 years ago I didn't think I'd live to see my 20's... But I'm still here, and I'm so happy that I am 💖 Life's been rough, and it will continue to be at times, but thankfully there's pockets of joy to be found in the chaos. It really can be as simple as a funny tag someone leaves on my art, my best friend @unicornia93 doodling something funny to cheer me up, or the boundless enthusiasm my fiance has for ANY idea I share with him or my family being their goofy but wonderful selves 😂💖
I also want to extend a sincere Thank You to everyone who's supported and followed me over the years. Every year when my birthday comes around I always wonder how I got so lucky to be blessed with great friends, a wonderful fiance and my small but loving family... And to also be part of a community both online and offline amongst kindhearted, passionate people and artists. I don't say this often enough, but I truly appreciate each and every one of you! From my regular followers who always, always like my art (yes, I see you 💖), and to my friends, family and fiance for giving encouragement and critique to help me grow as an artist and person. You guys are absolutely wonderful!! 💖🙏

🥀Despite everything... It's still you🌹
When my friend Martearty shared this meme to our little art server, I couldn't resist joining with Ludwik 💖
Ludwik and Molly's story is very special to me; a journey about finding and defining yourself anew, rising again after the world has beaten you down entirely, and as always - the immense and transformative power of love in all its forms 💖
Ludwik's story doesn't have a happy beginning. It's filled with strife, hardships and agony. Abused by his father the boy is destroyed down to his core, cursed to become the same monster as his father... but through his journey, Ludwik rises again. He finds the strength to break the chain and free himself. From exiled prince to rising as king of the new world he creates with his friends and lover Molly, he finds that despite life's dark corners, there is light and joy to be found. His experiences has left their irremovable marks, but they need not define him or steer him down a path of darkness and lonliness.
Despite everything, he survived and came out a stronger, kinder and braver man. His future is bright, and it gets better 💖
A rare lore illustration for once. I really should draw more of this kind of stuff too between all the romance, it's very cathartic 💖

In one of our sessions, during our heroes stay in Silverymoon Gaeril wanted to reach out to the druids in the area. Upon reaching the Evergreen Garden there was a celebration. Alusys, being a halfling from a farm community, and a bard, joined in without question, and upon spotting her shy druid glancing at her from beneath the shadows of the trees she sweeps over and pulls him out of his shell.

Had a lot of fun designing these two and ended up channeling more Elden Ring vibes than I first thought 😂🙏 I can't complain about that though, and I think these two are my favorite of the pairs :)

My first out of two entries for @feefal 's Funguary! I've wanted to join for a few years and finally got around to it 😊
I wasn't sure how I wanted to tackle the challenge, so I asked my IG followers for help. First we decided whether it should be 4 single mushrooms or two pairs. Pairs won by a landslide 😂 then we voted for which themes to pair.
This is the couple combo that won by popular demand; the celestial Angel Wing and his demonic queen Silver Leaf 🍄🌱

✨Dragon's Treasure✨
A piece I made last year which I hated at the time, but it has since grown on me - at least a little 😂💖🌸 I really struggled getting my idea on paper here and I was so angry at myself for letting myself down... I hate making art I feel is beneath my skill level, but sometimes we don't succeed no matter how much we try. We can always learn from the experience and try again though 💖
One day I might return to this and redo it with the skills and knowledge I now have ☺
This was my first sapphic artwork though, which is fun! These two characters were meant to be my Drawtober project for 2023, but it didn't pan out due to me being burnt out 😅 maybe their story will come to fruition someday! 🐉✨🗡💖

Reblogging this to day that after 2 years I FINALLY figured out where to take Willow and Khalan's story. We got there in the end, folks haha 🤣💖
I've written almost 4 pages of ideas for events and things I want to include into their story and I'm so excited to finally develop this little cozy world 🥰
Of course this will be a romance mixed with slice of life and quiet Ghibli moments (because I adore their reverent, slow paced "soak up the mood" scenes so so much)
I feel bad for having slept on these two for so long, but I'm looking forward to drawing them more! 💖🌳🌿🌾
🌱🌼🌾 Summer Solstice 🌾🌼🌱
I’ve wanted to get back into comics ever since I graduated Folkehøgskolen (Folk high school) 8 years ago, and aside from small projects with friends and some doodles here and there, this is my first solo foray back into it!
Introducing Willow and Khalan, the first iterations of them at any rate - two of the main characters for the slice of life fantasy romance story I’m currently working on :) I’ve already redesigned them a bit since this was made back in June, but I hope you’ll like them all the same!
Willow was abandoned in the woods as a baby, and a kind witch took her in. In her childhood Willow befriended another gentle inhabitant of the forest; a dweller named Khalan. The two of them miiiight like each other more than friends though 😌💕
I’ve been working on Willow and Khalan’s story for a little while and I haven’t gotten too far yet, but I’m plotting stuff constantly while doing other things. I’m very excited to share more with you guys hopefully soon 😤
