it must have been a figurative decade since I did a tag game! I got tagged by @firefly-party - so here goes my comfort list:
Comfort food: lasagna. but I haven’t had that in a loooong time,,, (if you have no oven that can be a little … challenging); probably anything my grandma makes? - AND LAHMACUN (preferably with my grandma’s recipe for the ‚topping‘ and made by the baker in her town)
Comfort movies: I usually have some crime show running in the background (The Mentalist, Criminal minds, one of the NCIS‘s etc.) as noise but I don’t rewatch movies - usually
But I do have an anime that I rewatch for comfort! Guardian of the Spirit
Comfort Clothing: Oversized hoodies. Definitely. Since I am also in a relationship with a chronic oversized hoodie wearer I have a virtually unlimited supply~
Comfort Songs: eh… I listen to a lot of classical music? But I do enjoy any kind of familiar song when looking for comfort. Since I am actually coming down with something at the moment I feel like …listening to TAD and also… I’ll probably listen to a lot of Rock & Alternative (+Alternative Rock) music
Comfort Books: I don’t reread books. But I reread a (1) fanfiction once. [and when you want to, kiss me by deeplywornletters - in the reread I skipped the smut though]
Comfort Games: Witcher 3 - even though I haven’t finished it yet… it brings me comfort already. Animal crossing; Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the white witch (it was the first video game I bought myself and got really immersed in :) - recently purchased it for the switch (played it on ps3 originally)

So I have this Bakugou hoodie I bought years ago at Hot Topic. I still use it to this day! It's one of my favorite hoodies to wear, it's practically a comfort clothing item for me!
These are pictures from Hot Topic's app (and most likely their website). I kinda wish it had different angles because the back of the hoodie actually says "Katsuki Bakugo"
As said here in the description! Honestly this description is really cute.
Now I know this hoodie is a little.. expensive, but I think it was totally worth it! I mean, I bought the largest size and it still fits me perfectly, plus the hoodie is made with really good quality material, and it keeps me pretty warm during cold days. Hell, I even sleep with it, and I always sleep so well.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, if you find a clothing item related to your F/O, I recommend you buy if you can! It's so worth it! Trust me! <3

posting something different today! This is one of my photography pieces from a series I did called "Truth Beneath the Comfort Clothing."
The idea came from my own use of comfort clothing items and how much I rely on certain articles of clothing to get through the day. The process of taking these consisted of gathering clothing from friends' closets (and my own closet) and having conversations with them on why the clothing piece brings them comfort. I purposely left everything anonymous to protect the people involved. I also kept the statements vague, leaving the viewer to come to their own conclusion on what each piece is about.
I will let you in on a secret: this comfort clothing item is mine! This item brings me comfort because it reminds me of being young and innocent, when life was easy. I got this shirt at the premiere of the second hunger games movie. Life has felt fake ever since.
As for the rest of the series, those pieces will be kept anonymous to give the people involved with this their privacy!

Dear Loyal Companion,
I stared in shock this morning as I noticed a small hole in between your legs and realized it is time to let you go.
I think you've been with me since I was 9! You have been the best pair of jeans I could have asked for.
You saw me as a prepubescent child, then a dysphoric girl, then a demiboy, then genderfluid, then a trans guy. You carried me through periods and haircuts and testosterone shots, watched me laugh and cry. You gave me gender euphoria when nearly nothing could. You were drawn in my self portraits and I wore you in my daydreams.
I am actually really sad about this, and I'm still not ready to throw you away. We've grown so close during these 9 years together! Whatever shall I do without my faithful companion around my legs??
I promise I'll try my best to move on, but I shall never foget you. Rest in peace, my friend.
