My second collection post! I really admire Sango Harukawa's art, so I just thought I would make a little post to gather all their color spreads in one place. They're very well drawn and fun to analyze as well because of the easter eggs hidden in them. My personal favorite is Volume 15, because the muted color palette along with the jagged cuts give it a look that's very fitting for this arc! It looks almost collage-like?

Rotating Etho's choice to protect his allies in my mind. Obviously they made incredible escapes and held their own but Etho also refusing to sell out Cleo and Grian meant that nearly everyone else died, some died multiple times, most lost additional hearts, hurt alliances (Scott: Gem has no band loyalty!), and did not gain something like 120 hearts total

Meanwhile, Cleo and Grian get to feel secure in their alliance, not go red, and actually finish their tasks. The playing field has obviously been levelled significantly and they still suffered, but Etho facilitated his alliance gaining the most where everyone else lost the most

Obviously it's a display his loyalty first and foremost but he also played the game, ran the numbers, and counted himself out of success knowing it would be diminishing returns to go after them and I just think that's neat

Really funny how often the hermits will be like “minecraft is just too easy :( ” and 40% of the time it’ll be because minecraft is a game for all ages including kids sure but 60% of the time it will be solely down to the fact that they live on a server full of the people who all play this game for a living

They’ll be standing next to an insane mindcrack ass farm that generate one million billion diamonds per minute, sighing because their eight hour hunt for two tall grass - a purely decorative item that is commonly found everywhere in the world except a player’s inventory - was just Too Easy!

This isn’t hate or anything I just think it’s really funny. Olympic level athletes at the public pool, complaining about kiddie pool being shallow and the people swimming laps being too slow to be any sort of competition

Modern day WoW gameplay is not that appealing to me, DF has not been my kind of expansion theme (even if it's been very visually pretty) and I probably would not be subbed if it wasn't for the few close friends I got here and the super entertaining writing+art we do together

The upcoming expansion(s) do sound more up my alley but being a Committed Gamer isn't quite for me at this point in my life I think
