Michael on the Late Late Show a few years ago talking about how he was almost in a production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and I cannot overstate how much I wish this had actually happened...
(Bonus: Completely unintentional reference to the beginning of episode 3 of The Way at the end by James Corden, along with Michael's reaction. The noise I made...)
I really can't believe Gojo pulled the "I'm not really dead" trick with his student on his other students and then got his ass sealed when that same student's mom pulled the same trick on him.
EDIT: You know what, the more I think about it the more I think that the first time was foreshadowing Gojo's imprisonment because...
Believed a friend to be "dead", but nah, they're "alive".
The tones and settings are opposite. Yuji is revealed to be alive in broad daylight outside. The lightning is natural and actually feels... relaxing? Like when you sit outside and enjoy the sun. Kenjaku, posing as Geto, does this underground at night. There's this blinding white light that just makes me feel... lost and small. A white void. For Yuji, the scene is played for laughs and it's heartwarming because he gets to be reunited with Megumi and Nobara again. For Kenjaku, yeah... not so funny. It's sad, it's heartbreaking, things gets worse from there.
Said people believed to be "dead" are related or share similarities somehow. Kenjaku is Yuji's mother. Geto, whose body Kenjaku possesses, shares similarities with Yuji. [I have posts about that.]
Gojo is there and his role is switched. First time, he's the trickster. Second time, he's the tricked one.
A box! A BOX!! Yuji comes out of a gray box and when Gojo gets caught, the Prison Realm turns gray.
Reasons why Kenjaku (as Geto) and Yuji had to pretend to stay dead? People, more importantly the Higher-Ups can't know about them living again. When they do? "KILL!! KILL HIM NOW!!"
Not important, but it's funny that some time after Miwa pulls a sword out on them and they just counter like it's nothing... Kenjaku did my girl dirty though...
Angel Dust: *to Alastor’s minion* Hey, sweet cheeks. What you doing later? I love me a man with a giant... tool.
Episode 7:
Husk: *exists holding a hammer in his hand paw in the background*
I feel like if Angel Dust and Husk hadn’t bonded in episode 4 (completely respecting his personal space after that) he definitely would have made a similar comment as to episode 2 😂
So we know Alastor and Lilith disappeared at the same time 7 years ago. And we know that Lucifer had a meeting with Heaven which began the exterminations. We don't know when that happened though. Either they're not mentioning when the exterminations started because they've always happened or because revealing when they started would give too much away and make it too easy to guess things. All Charlie knows is that Lucifer went to the meeting and she assumes he gave the go ahead for exterminations. But the exterminations haven't always happened. They only started after the angels, or specifically Sera I think considering no other angels knew about it, became afraid of the power and influence Lilith had over the demons.
My current theory is that that meeting was called between Sera, Adam, and Lucifer because Alastor and Lilith were planning on working together with him broadcasting her voice on his radio station to inspire the other demons to rise to war against the angels. I think Sera demanded that Lilith and Alastor be separated with Lilith making a deal with Adam to stay in heaven where she can't empower any other demons with her voice or even contact anyone in hell and that Sera demanded the exterminations happen as well in order to not only lessen the demons' power but also instill fear in them in an attempt to prevent future uprisings. I think Alastor was given the options of either be killed or sign a contract limiting his power and requiring him to stay away for a while so that their little idea of rebellion is forgotten amongst the masses. I especially think that because of Zestial's comment about folks thinking Alastor had fallen to holy arms. Maybe Sera is his contract holder. That or they tried to straight up kill him and he somehow escaped barely alive and it's taken this long for him to heal and regain enough power for him to feel comfortable revealing himself to society. But trying to kill him wouldn't explain the contact or his need to 'unclip his wings'.
interesting that Blue thinks that Welk's bodywash would be titled "blunt force trauma" when she first met him. We sure there's no psychic in this girl?
Kind of loving (in a "I uncontrollably want to sob" way) the fact that q!Baghera joked about wanting to stay on the Purgatory island while team BOLAS?!?! was going insane only for her to end up keeping that exact state of mind until the end but this time for a different reason.
She joked about not caring about Pomme anymore while setting herself on fire and praising life in Purgatory, but in the end, she stayed for her. Think about it for a second. How irony played its part perfectly in q!Baghera's words of Purgatory being a “better” place, because it technically became that since Pomme, her child, was in Purgatory, and not on Quesadilla Island. Finally reunited after months looking for her and the other eggs. Sounds just like Heaven.
with all the religious imagery in genloss I feel like it's important to note that square halos were often used to communicate that a holy figure was still alive at the time of the depiction, and that squares were generally used to represent earth. do with that information what you will.
I named my OC with three names that I thought were pretty around a year ago and didn’t realise the meanings. I looked them up recently and they are so fitting? I’m honestly so confused, I wrote a twist in my OC’s story a while ago and her second middle name literally foreshadows that twist exactly! I didn’t plan on it, I literally named her the female version of a character I like basically, and it’s literally described my OC perfectly. Do I have the gift of foresight?
