The Economic Impact of the Citrus Industry on Rural Communities in Florida
Florida's citrus industry stands as a pillar of the state's agricultural economy, exerting a substantial impact on the livelihoods of rural communities. Renowned for its oranges, grapefruits, and other citrus fruits, this industry isn't just a source of delicious juice and produce; it's a robust economic engine supporting numerous communities throughout the Sunshine State.
Employment and Job Creation One of the most significant contributions of the citrus industry to rural communities is employment. From picking fruits in the orchards to processing and packaging in factories, thousands of individuals find gainful employment within this sector. During peak seasons, the demand for labor swells, providing seasonal employment opportunities for locals. This influx of jobs is crucial in communities where employment options might otherwise be limited.
Economic Revenue and Income Generation The citrus industry doesn't only create jobs; it generates substantial revenue for Florida's economy. The sale of citrus fruits, both domestically and internationally, yields billions of dollars annually. This revenue doesn't stop at the orchard gates; it cascades into the local economy through various channels. Farmers spend their income on equipment, supplies, and services, circulating money within their communities. Furthermore, the industry's success contributes to property taxes, which aid in funding local infrastructure and public services.
Diversification of Rural Economies For many rural communities in Florida, the citrus industry plays a pivotal role in diversifying their economic landscape. The cultivation and processing of citrus fruits open doors for auxiliary businesses. Packing facilities, transportation services, and agricultural technology companies emerge to support the industry. Additionally, agritourism gains traction as people flock to citrus farms for tours, events, and experiences, injecting tourism revenue into these rural areas.
Challenges Faced by the Citrus Industry While the citrus industry is a powerhouse, it faces challenges that can trickle down to impact rural communities. Citrus greening, a devastating disease affecting citrus trees, has significantly impacted crop yields. The costs of combating this disease, coupled with unpredictable weather patterns and market fluctuations, can lead to financial instability for farmers and related businesses. These challenges can affect employment levels and income within rural communities reliant on citrus production.
Innovation and Adaptation Despite these challenges, the industry perseveres through innovation and adaptation. Research into disease-resistant varieties, sustainable farming practices, and advanced technologies for crop management are ongoing. This resilience not only safeguards the industry's future but also presents opportunities for growth and continued economic impact on rural communities.
Conclusion The citrus industry stands as a cornerstone of Florida's agricultural sector, weaving itself deeply into the fabric of rural communities. Its economic impact transcends the boundaries of orchards and packing houses, influencing employment, revenue generation, and community vitality. While challenges persist, the industry's resilience and ongoing innovation promise a sustainable future, ensuring its continued significance in supporting the economic prosperity of Florida's rural areas.

How to buy Eco-friendly Cleaning products
In a world where environmental consciousness is more critical than ever, it's essential to consider the impact of our everyday choices, including the cleaning products we use in our homes. Traditional cleaning products often contain harmful chemicals that can harm the environment but fear not, there are eco-friendly alternatives readily available. In this guide, we'll explore how to make sustainable choices when buying Commercial cleaning products Auckland.
1. Read Labels Carefully
The first step in purchasing eco-friendly cleaning products is to become a label detective. Look for products that are certified by reputable environmental organizations such as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) or carry labels like "Green Seal" or "EcoLogo." These certifications ensure that the product meets specific environmental and health criteria.
2. Check for Biodegradability
Eco-friendly cleaning products should be biodegradable, meaning they break down into harmless substances in the environment. Avoid products that contain ingredients known to persist in the environment or harm aquatic life.
3. Avoid Harmful Chemicals
Steer clear of Industrial cleaning products Auckland that contain harmful chemicals like phosphates, chlorine, ammonia, and formaldehyde. These substances can pollute waterways, harm aquatic ecosystems, and even affect indoor air quality.
4. Opt for Concentrated Products
Choosing concentrated cleaning products can reduce packaging waste and decrease the overall environmental footprint of your cleaning routine. By diluting these products yourself, you'll use less plastic and fewer resources.
5. DIY Cleaning Solutions
Consider making your cleaning solutions using common household ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice.
4. Dispose of Products Responsibly
When you're finished with Citrus Cleaner NZ, dispose of it properly. Follow local recycling guidelines for the container, and if the product is hazardous, take it to a hazardous waste disposal facility.
By following these steps and being mindful of your choices, you can contribute to a cleaner, healthier planet while maintaining a clean home. Remember that every small change adds up, and collectively, we can make a significant impact in reducing our environmental footprint. So, make the switch to eco-friendly cleaning products today and do your part to protect the environment for future generations. For quotes on Floor Cleaning Products Auckland NZ, contact us now.

[ID: Map of the partition plan approved by the UN general assembly on November 29, 1947. It marks the "Jewish state" in green (all the border to the east with Syria, much of the south and the inland west including the southern half of the Dead Sea; and most of the northern coastline with the Mediterranean Sea) and the "Arab state" in orange (a strip on the western border with Egypt and southern part of the border with the Mediterranean, including Rafah and Gaza; and the mostly inland north including the area where the Jordan flows into the Dead Sea. In purple the "Jerusalem district" in the center of the country is marked. End ID]
But how fair, balanced, pragmatic, and practicable was the UN 1947 partition plan itself? In gross terms, the partition resolution awarded 55.5 percent of the total area of Palestine to the Jews (most of whom were recent immigrants) who constituted less than a third of the population and who owned less than 7 percent of the land. The Palestinians, on the other hand, who made up over two thirds of the population and who owned the vast bulk of the land, were awarded 45.5 percent of the country of which they had enjoyed continuous possession for centuries.
Looking at the situation in greater detail, Palestine was a country of 27 million dunams (4 dunams = 1 acre). Its population in December 1946 was just under 2 million (1,972,000): 1,364,000 Palestinians and 608,000 Jews. The partition plan divided the country into eight sections: three Jewish, three Palestinian, an international enclave (corpus separatum) including municipal Jerusalem and the surrounding villages, and an enclave for Jaffa that would be part of the Palestinian state, albeit completely surrounded by the Jewish state [...].
At the time, one of the arguments frequently raised by the Jews against a unitary state in Palestine had been the unfairness of Arab majoritarian rule over the Jewish minority. Commenting on this argument, the Pakistani delegate at the UN, Muhammad Zafrulla Khan, remarked: "If it is unfair that 33 percent of the population of Palestine [the Jews in the proposed unitary state] should be subject to 67 percent of the population, is it less unfair that 46 percent of the population [the Arabs in the proposed Jewish state] should be subject to 54 percent?" [...]
In terms of land ownership, despite over seventy years of intensive, centrally organized and internationally financed colonization since the early 1880s, Jewish-owned land on the eve of the partition resolution amounted, according to Jewish sources, to 1,820,000 dunams, or less than 7 percent of the total land area of the country. Now, at the bang of his gavel [...], the president of the UNGA [...] "awarded" the Jews 15,000,000 dunams for the Jewish state. Within the borders of this state, Jewish-owned land at its most inflated estimate amounted to 1,678,000 dunams, or 11.2 percent. [...]
But it was not only the extent of the land allotted to the Jewish state that was at issue. The best lands were incorporated within it—most of the fertile coastal plains (from Jaffa to Haifa) and all the interior plains (from Haifa to Baysan and Tiberias). These included almost all the citrus and cereal producing areas. Half of the former and the vast bulk of the latter were owned by Palestinians. Citrus was the main export crop of the country, accounting before World War II for 80 percent of the total value of exports. [...] As if this were not enough, a full 40 percent of Palestinian industry and the major sources of the country's electrical supply fell within the envisaged Jewish state.
[...] Jaffa [...], the historical Palestinian port and vibrant center of Palestinian cultural and social life, was not only confined within its municipal borders, with no living space for any growth or development, but was also cut off from the orange groves that bore its name and were its principal source of economic livelihood. Haifa—the main port of Palestine, the terminal of the oil pipeline from Iraq, the petroleum depot for the entire country, seat of the most active entrepreneurial sectors of Palestinian society [...]—fell squarely within the Jewish state. Many of the other major Arab towns included in the Palestinian state [...] were left just inside its borders but without their most fertile lands or economic hinterlands. The upper reaches of the Jordan River, and therefore control of the major source of riverine water supply to the Palestinian state, were vested in the Jewish state. The whole of Lake Tiberias and its rich fishing industry, traditionally in Palestinian hands, was incorporated within the Jewish state. The bulk of the Palestinian state, restricted to the central highlands, was landlocked with no direct access to the Red Sea southward or the Mediterranean westward. Its two other coastal towns (apart from isolated Jaffa) had no harbors or port facilities. The only airport (near Lydda) in the country with international connections went to the Jewish state, leaving the Palestinian state with no air access either.

The complete masterpost on how to smell like a Princess 💐🧴🌸
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ARMPITS
🌸 Long armpit hair traps sweat and the smell can be quite noticeable. Wax or nair off the hair (instead of shaving, which causes dark discolouration), or if you don't want to have completely hairless armpits, trim the hair down short with a small pair of scissors.
🌸 Know the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant. Deodorant: stops the smell. Antiperspirant: stops the sweat. Some products may do one but not the other, although most do both.
🌸 Use a men's deodorant instead of women's deodorant. The antiperspirant is much stronger than in women's deodorant. Old Spice makes nice ones that don't smell particularly masculine despite the brand being associated with men. Old Spice Deep Sea smells like sea salt, Old Spice Fiji smells like coconuts, Old Spice Oasis is sweet and slightly vanilla scented, Old Spice Wolfthorn is sweet citrus, and Old Spice Timber smells like sandalwood.
🌸 Apply deodorant after you shower instead of waiting a while.
🌸 Apply antiperspirant at night instead of morning so that it has all night to get absorbed
🌸 Vanilla extract can be used as a natural deodorant. Because it's alcohol based, it kills bacteria and the vanilla scent stays all day.
🌸 Use deodorant as a preventative measure, not a fix for an already-stinky armpit or a replacement for washing.
🌸 Use salicylic acid toner on the armpits. This lowers the pH of your armpits to be inhospitable to odour-causing bacteria
🌸 Hand sanitiser can be used in a pinch (not regularly though as it's bad if you use it too often)
🌸 Washing your armpits with Head & Shoulders shampoo and letting it sit for a bit before rinsing off is really good for getting rid of bad odour due to the zinc in it
🌸 Exfoliate your underarms in the shower to slough off dead skin and deodorant build-up that could be making any products you use under your arms less effective. You can use the same exfoliator you use on your face or body on your armpits.
🌸 To dry your armpits completely, use a hairdryer, apply deodorant, then dry them again. It will make such a difference, as it gets your armpits completely dry, whereas as towel drying alone can often leave some moisture, which is more likely to make you smell.
🌸 If you suffer from excessive underarm sweating, go see your doctor. They can prescribe you an industrial strength antiperspirant which may solve your issue.
CLOTHES
🌸 Don't leave your clothes in the washing machine for too long after they've finished washing, this makes them develop a bad smell. Put them to dry as soon as possible after washing.
🌸 If possible, use the tumble dryer instead of leaving your clothes to air-dry in winter. If clothes are left for hours and hours and not really drying because it's too cold, they develop a bad mildewy smell.
🌸 Dry your clothes outside in the sun whenever possible
🌸 Use scented dryer sheets (but make sure the scent isn't one that clashes with your perfume).
🌸 An old-fashioned tip is to keep cut up soap and lavender in the same drawer as your clothes. You can just stick a scented soap or sachets with potpourri in the closet with your clothes to make them smell nice.
🌸 In hardware stores, you can buy cedar blocks to put in your closet, which as well as making your clothes smell nice, also keep spiders, moths, and centipedes away
🌸 Add a capful of white vinegar to the washing machine when you're washing your clothes (no, this won't make your clothes smell like vinegar. It kills unwanted scents and helps remove stains).
🌸 Add a few drops of essential oils such as lavender, peppermint, tea tree, or eucalyptus to your laundry detergent (you can add some to your dryer sheets as well). Make sure they're clear, light, essential oils, and not dark resiny ones, as that will stain your clothes. You can put a few drops of essential oils on the bottom of your drawer, right on the wooden part too.
🌸 You can buy special laundry perfumes to put in the fabric softener department. The scent lasts for ages
🌸 Avoid harsh or heavy scented laundry detergent and washing powders. Stick to neutral, light-scented ones
🌸 Wear breathable fabrics like cotton, hemp, linen, and silk. This will make more air circulate around your body. Avoid nylon and polyester.
🌸 Wash your bathrobe once a week
🌸 Spray Febreeze or perfume on the clothes in your closet once a week
🌸 Wash any clothes you haven't worn in a while, even if you're not planning on wearing them soon, to prevent a stale smell. It will make your whole wardrobe smell much better
FEET
🌸 Wear clean cotton socks. Don't reuse worn socks days in a row
🌸 Always wear socks. Not wearing them makes it much more likely for your feet to start smelling bad
🌸 Don't wear the same pair of shoes every day, as this can make odour-causing bacteria grow because they don't get a chance to dry out.
🌸 If you're staying somewhere overnight, remember to bring a 2nd pair of shoes to change into instead of wearing the same pair twice in a row
🌸 Put baby powder on your feet before putting socks on
🌸 Always dry your feet thoroughly after washing, including between each toe. This prevents the development of foot fungus
🌸 Use foot spray or shoe spray
🌸 Scent rises, so spray a little perfume in your shoes or on your ankles
🌸 Pat some glycolic acid on the soles of your feet with a cotton pad each morning
HAIR
🌸 Spray some perfume on your hairbrush before brushing. Grace Kelly swore by this
🌸 Apply dry shampoo the night before instead of the morning of so that your hair has time to absorb it
🌸 Hair absorbs scent a lot, so wash it regularly
🌸 Add a tiny drop of perfume oil into a few drops of hair oil and apply to your hair
🌸 It's obvious, but using a shampoo and conditioner that smells good will make your hair smell good
🌸 Consider using a hairspray or hair mist
HOME
🌸 Change pillowcases and bedding regularly. Oils, sweat and dead skin cells will accumulate if you go too long using the same sheets.
🌸 Open the windows regularly and leave your bed to air before making it once a week. No airflow means your environment will be more warm and sweaty, making it more likely to develop bacteria that makes you smell bad
🌸 Light a scented candle or incense regularly so that your home always smells lovely
🌸 Have multiple towels so you can use a new one each time you shower. Once a towel is wet, germs start growing, which can make you smell. Clean your towels regularly
🌸 Above all, make sure your house is clean. It doesn't matter how many of these tips you follow, if your home smells bad, you'll smell like it. Plus if you bring someone home and your house smells, no matter how good you personally smell, that's the impression they'll have of you. Clean regularly.
MOUTH
🌸 Floss after eating. Food particles trapped in between the teeth can make your breath smell bad. Even if you don't notice it, others will.
🌸 Use mouthwash after eating or drinking. Avoid mouthwashes with alcohol, as they can dry out your mouth, and your mouth should be moist if you want to reduce bad breath.
🌸 Brush your tongue or use a tongue scraper. This gets rid of bacteria that can build up and make your breath smell bad.
🌸 Keep a pack of mints or gum in your bag for after you eat or drink out (avoid chewing gum if you grind your teeth or clench your jaw though - it's not good for overworked muscles that need to relax).
🌸 Brush your teeth morning and night. Make sure to brush the hard to reach places, like the back molars. And brush for at least two minutes.
🌸 Bad smelling bacteria builds up in your mouth if it's dry and saliva isn't being produced, so drink water consistently throughout the day and eat every few hours, even if it's just a small snack
🌸 Take probiotics for mouth health to replace bad smelly bacteria with good bacteria
🌸 It's not too important, but if you're talking at close range with someone, you'll be able to smell if they have a scented lip product on, so if you want, put on a scented lipgloss, lipstick, or lip balm. My personal favourites are Glossier Birthday Cake lip balm and Fresh Rose Lip Treatment.
🌸 Chew a sprig of rosemary or mint after eating, it makes your breath smell clean and herbaceous.
🌸 A Princessy mouthwash recipe you can try is putting 60g of dried rose petals in 240ml of rosewater and heating gently for 2 hours, then straining and adding 180ml of liquid honey. As well as making your breath smell beautiful, it also helps to soothe a sore throat.
🌸 An underrated tip is to gargle with hot salt water to kill bacteria. This is good when you're somewhere without access to mouthwash.
🌸 If you take good care of your mouth hygiene but bad breath persists, you may have tonsil stones. You can extract them by rubbing a Qtip on your tonsil.
SIGNATURE SCENT
🌸 Learn your body chemistry. Get a variety of sample perfumes and see what they smell like after 30 minutes, 2 hours, a day. Scent profiles develop and change over time, and a perfume that smells good at first might not after a few hours. See what smells good consistently.
🌸 Apply Vaseline or a light unscented lotion to the area where you'll be spraying the perfume to make it last longer
🌸 Buy a rollerball of your favourite perfume so you can reapply when you're out and about if the scent of your perfume fades
🌸 If possible, spend money on a high end Eau de Parfum. 1 or 2 sprays will suffice, and the scent lasts all day. Sprays from Bath and Body and Victoria's Secret smell nice and all, but fade quickly.
🌸 Keep in mind that some perfumes may only be suitable for certain seasons. A light citrusy scent may be fine in summer, but confusing in winter
🌸 Scent rises, so rub scented lotion on your legs. If you want you can spray some scent inside your shoes or on your ankles.
🌸 Hot skin areas close to your veins like behind the knees, behind the ears, the back of the neck, and on the wrists are good areas to apply perfume. Currently, it's popular in the perfume community to spray on the stomach and forearms too.
🌸 If you're sensitive to perfumes, a perfume oil could be a good substitute (in former Ottoman countries, perfume oil is more popular than spray perfume).
🌸 Less is more with perfume. Never overspray. It's better for the scent to subtly creep up on people than to overwhelm them. Perfume should be intimate, a beautiful association people make with being close to you (isn't it a lovely idea that nobody will know that your hair smells like rose hair mist until your lover buries their face in it, or that your neck smells like Hypnotic Poison until your lover leans in to kiss it?)
🌸 Be aware that people may have sensitivities or allergies to perfume if you're going to be in an enclosed space, for example on an airplane, a cinema, or an office cubicle. It's okay just to smell clean rather than of perfume (Kate Middleton and Megan Markle don't wear any perfume at official state events for that reason).
🌸 Don't be afraid to ask other people about their opinions on your perfume. Of course, it's important that you like your perfume, but everyone else around you will have to smell it too. Some perfumes have associations that you may not necessarily want to portray. For example, Victoria's Secret perfumes are often associated with teenagers, and Chanel No.5 is often associated with grandmas. If you love them, you do you, but just keep this in mind if you're wary of creating certain associations with yourself.
🌸 Choose moisturising and hygiene products that go well with your signature scent. For example, vanilla or cocoa butter moisturiser with a perfume in the gourmand family of fragrances.
🌸 In the same vein as above, you can also choose moisturisers that add dimension to your signature scent, like making a floral perfume smell more summery by using a coconut moisturiser, or making a vanilla scent smell more Christmassy by using a peppermint body wash and lotion.
🌸 Don't mix scents that don't go well together. It will smell confusing if you use a warm vanilla sugar lotion with a musky perfume.
🌸 Don't overload on too many strongly scented products, it's overwhelming. If your perfume is very strong, use a lightly scented or unscented lotion.
🌸 It's okay to have more than one signature scent. The perfume you wear at the office doesn't have to be the same perfume you wear at parties, which doesn't have to be the perfume you wear relaxing at home.
🌸 It's also okay to have no signature scent, and just pick a perfume that fits your mood on a given day
🌸 Try and find a perfume that matches your lifestyle. If you're a minimalist, pick a fresh, light scent, such as Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue. If you love to bake and adore the smell of vanilla, sugar and buttercream, try a gourmand perfume, like Dior's Hypnotic Poison or Ariana Grande's Cloud. If you live an outdoorsy lifestyle, try a woody scent like Santal 33 by Le Labo. Your scent should match your vibe, if you're not naturally a party girl or a chic lady, don't try to fake it with perfume, it will just be confusing.
🌸 Don't pick a perfume you don't personally like just because someone else recommends it, like wearing a scent you find grandma-like just because someone said it will make you smell Old Money. You're the one who has to smell it all day
🌸 Spray a little perfume on your hair and wrists before going to sleep to feel soft, pretty, and luxurious, like a Princess or an Old Hollywood star
🌸 A tip from exotic dancers is to spray perfume right after showering, moisturise, then spray the perfume again to really lock in the scent
🌸 Read books like The Secret of Scent by Luca Turin, Fragrance and Wellbeing by Jennifer Peace Rhind, and Scent and Subversion by Barbara Herman to understand the science of scent and what smells great from the point of view of a perfume expert.
🌸 If you want free samples, try e-mailing a perfume house saying you've seen a promo of their perfume and would be interested in a complimentary sample (send your address too). Usually they read lots of complaints, so they'll be glad if they can make someone happy (this may not always work with every perfume house though). You can also go to a quiet counter at a boutique and ask for samples of a perfume you want, even tell them that you're young and can't afford much and they'll give away lots.
🌸 Science has shown that women are much more sensitive to musk scents than men, so lesbian/bi ladies may want to consider trying a musk scent while on a date. And as for men, they prefer lily of the valley, as well as gourmand scents like vanilla, cinnamon, and oddly, pumpkin and lavender together. [Source]
YONI
🌸 Take probiotics
🌸 Wear cotton underwear. Avoid tight underwear and underwear with dye if possible.
🌸 Sleep without underwear. Letting your yoni breathe is great for achieving an attractive smell
🌸 Don't clean your yoni with regular soap. It can throw off your pH, which can cause yeast infections and a bad smell. It's generally okay to use soaps specifically formulated for your vulva, or gentle soaps like Johnson's baby soap or Dove sensitive.
🌸 Drink natural 100% pineapple juice and cranberry juice, or buy pills with those respective ingredients in the health store. Even if you don't want to drink it all the time, drinking cranberry/pineapple juice an hour before intimacy will make you taste sweeter.
🌸 Instead of using scented feminine hygiene products (which are bad for you), change your pad or tampon regularly. Switch to menstrual cups if possible, as there will be no smell at all (whereas the pads and tampons themselves will start smelling bad if left for too long).
🌸 Rub some roll-on deodorant in the crevice where your inner thigh meets your vulva. It develops its own B.O smell (like a leg pit). Deodorant improves the smell immensely.
🌸 Make sure your partner has clean hands/a clean mouth before touching you sensually. Also, use a condom if possible, as ejaculate inside of you can mess up your pH balance
🌸 Use Dripsticks for post-sex clean-up
🌸 Boric acid suppositories after your period help rebalance microbial flora
🌸 Use a little water to rinse after you pee. You can buy a peri bottle for postpartum to make it easier
🌸 Make sure to only wash your vulva, not inside the vagina. The inside is a self-cleaning oven, and douching or even just inserting a finger with soap is bad for it. Avoid the inner, pink parts of the labia too.
🌸 Make sure there's no discharge build-up in your pubic hair
🌸 Clean well in-between the folds and under the clitoral hood so that sebum doesn't get trapped
🌸 Make sure not to scrub too hard, as it can make soap get somewhere it shouldn't or irritate a sensitive area
🌸 Use a hairdryer to dry after showering if you don't have the time to towel off till you're completely dry. It will stop you from feeling swampy and sweaty down there.
UNCATEGORISED
🌸 Keep feminine hygiene wipes, hand sanitiser, mini deodorant, mini dry shampoo, mini mouthwash, rollerball of perfume, scented hand cream, etc in your bag to freshen up during the day
🌸 It's obvious, but shower at least once a day. If you're having unusually hot weather or live in a warm climate, take a couple of quick showers throughout the day.
🌸 Use a very strong soap on your yoni, armpits, and feet, and scrub your armpits/feet very well as they retain scents.
🌸 If you sweat a lot during the night, take a light shower in the morning to get rid of the smell of stale sweat
🌸 Before your regular shower gel, use an antibacterial soap. It will kill bacteria that can make you smell bad.
🌸 Useful websites: Fragrantica, R/Perfumes, R/Fragrance, Parfumo, R/FemFragLab
🌸 Take parsley pills. It's like an internal deodorant. And fenugreek pills make you smell sweet like maple syrup
🌸 As well as on your armpits, put deodorant under your breasts as well, and anywhere else you may sweat a lot from (if you're spraying in the crease between your thighs and abdomen, make sure you have underwear on).
🌸 If you tend to sweat under your breasts a lot, you can buy cotton breast liners that absorb sweat on Amazon
🌸 If you're doing all that you can to prevent body odour but it persists, talk to your GP or dermatologist. You may need an antiperspirant stronger than what you can buy in shops, a PanOxyl wash, or even botox injections in your armpits
🌸 A tip from Marie Antoinette is to wear perfumed gloves
🌸 Don't eat too much onions, garlic, eggs, dairy, alcohol, processed foods, red meat, fast food, or vegetables like cauliflower and broccoli. The smell will seep through your skin (a little is fine, of course). And eat plenty of leafy greens.
🌸 Eat more fruit 🍎🍇🍍🍒🍓
🌸 Drink mint tea in the morning
🌸 An obvious tip, but hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Drinking more water will help you sweat less. Plus fragrance doesn't last as long on dry skin
🌸 Avoid drinking too much alcohol or smoking cigarettes
🌸 Take chlorophyll supplements
🌸 If you tend to suffer from a sweaty face, wear a waterproof mascara and keep a setting powder on you
🌸 Most important tip of all: Stay hygienic! You need a good base for any of these tips to work. Spraying perfume and applying scented lotion on an unclean body is like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound.
🌸 And of course you don't have to use all of these tips (if anything, you'll probably end up creating a toxic fume cloud instead of a beautiful scent). Just find a few that work for you and incorporate into your routine.

Tiny droplets of the crying sky showered the windshield as you made it through the busy LA streets. Your eyes dart left, right, even peering through the rearview mirror before placing your eyes back on the road in front of you. No matter the amount of rain, all the drivers seemed to have acted as if it were their first time on the road. The slightest swerve from any car made goosebumps prickle your skin.
You hated driving in the rain. Hated it so much that you tried to avoid it as much as possible, or have Neil take you where you needed to go — which he declined almost all the time. If it didn’t have anything to do with him, he didn’t see the need for him to chauffeur you around.
“You’re a big girl. You don’t need me…” he would say lazily as he trudged back upstairs to converse with strangers he owed not a second to. As the years of your marriage crept by, the concern he had for you grew less and less.
Which is why you decided to try this new venture all by yourself. Going to the gym wasn’t new to you but you thought that if you lost a few pounds of the marriage weight and toned up, that maybe, just maybe, Neil would take a first and a second look at you. But it seemed he was more interested in his job, games, and occasional women than you.
It hurt in the beginning, being put second. But each hurtful moment just made your skin thicker and your feelings nonexistent. An exit out of your marriage was weighing heavily on you and, shamefully, you could admit that you had thought about darting towards that exit more than once.
You thought about your failing marriage and all that would come if you decided to choose yourself just this once. How your family would feel and what they would think of you for ending a marriage that might have worked out.
But when it came down to it… you were unhappy. The only thing that made you even crack a smile was the success at your job, and being one of the top performers there. With each promotion, your heart soared. Only for it to be broken the minute that you would tell Neil.
He had a way of making your accomplishments an insult to his lackluster career and would even choose to sulk than congratulating you. One thing about you — stagnation was out of the question. You were either going to end this marriage as it was or try your hardest to bring the spark back. Even if Neil wasn’t the least bit interested in putting in the effort.
Here you stand outside of the gym, clutching the nylon strap over your shoulder as you take a deep breath and pull open the door. The cool air of the industrial air conditioning system hits you in the face like a strong breeze. It felt welcoming and the air lingered with a faint citrus smell.
You were met with the front desk, the top of it decked in marble, and the gold lettering in front of it beamed like no other. A woman flipped through the New Asgard Monthly Magazine behind it,  peeking over the current issue as you approached. She calmly placed it down and motioned for you to come closer.
She had a warm smile that could go either way but you were determined to get this introduction over with so that you could start your new journey. With another deep breath taken, you stroll to the front desk, unzipping your duffel bag to present your wallet, in case you needed to present any identification.
The woman studied you for a moment, giving you a once over before she began to speak, “Welcome to Valhalla Fitness, I am Eleni. Do you have a membership?” she smiled softly, giving you time to speak as she leaned further forward in her seat.
You cleared your throat, adjusting the strap over your shoulder again, “N-no. I don’t. It’s one of the reasons why I’m here. I’d like to get one today if that’s possible,” it was if you were a little kid asking permission to sit at the lunch table with the cool kids. Every fiber of your being vibrated with heightened nerves as you stood.
You couldn’t put your finger on it. But it seemed as if Eleni could see right through you or knew a secret about you that you didn’t even know. Either way, your anxiety finally settled when Eleni made a sound of glee, clapping her hands together before beginning to type on the screen in front of her.
—
The tall figure rose from his seat, stretching his legs as he lazily made his way toward the open  window. It showcased his newest investment, Valhalla Fitness. He scanned the crowd of gym goers, his eyes darting between the patrons putting in ample work, and those who were only there to look like they were exercising.
His schedule was the same seven days a week; not that he minded in the slightest bit. Being one of Earth’s mightiest defender for a decade, earned him a well-needed retirement. One that he had no problem taking as he searched for new ventures to dive into.
He inspected the spacious gym once again, an unfamiliar sight stopping him in his tracks as he squinted down at the front desk. Deciding he had to have a closer look, he took his tablet in one hand and opened up the app for the security cameras. He selected the one behind the reception desk, aimed directly at the woman smiling gratefully at Eleni.
His curiosity got the best of him as he zoomed in, taking in the every dip and curve of your body that in his opinion didn't need working on. Just like Eleni, his eyes stayed on you in a less innocent way than hers, paying attention to the spread of you lips as you smiled or the way you shifted ever so slightly as you listened to Eleni. His tongue slid over the plump of his bottom lip, watching as you mouthed of information, causing Eleni to type in every word.
How he wished he could hear how you sounded.
“You’re staring, Thor. You never stare,” a sultry voice rang out behind him, but it did not not deter him from keeping his eyes on you.
“I stare. When things or people are worthy of catching my eye. You should know that dear wife.”
A chuckle falls from her lips as a throaty moan escapes it a second later, “Yes, I know that look all too well. I used to be the cause of it,” she purrs, returning her attention back to the man feasting between her legs.
The sight of was nothing new for Thor. They had been married for centuries, bound together by arrangement rather than love. But from outside, people would never know or even hear anything more than the Mighty Thor and Valkyrie being madly in love with each other.
In Thor’s experience, people  married for centuries developed certain tastes– and they weren't always for each other, as many would hope. A man or woman feasting on Thor’s wife was just another day for him. He had granted her wishes  long ago as, Valkyrie did the same.
Though they never shared their bed with others — hotels were a very different story.
Thor’s eyes remained trained on the camera, noting every smile or laugh.. Even the small tick in your eyebrow when it looked like you were asking a question. You were art and he wanted to get a closer look at his new visitor.
He was all about making everyone at the fitness center feel welcome; and for you, he’d give you more than one tour if you asked him for it. Thor watched as Eleni passed over the welcome packet over to you, watching you punch in your new code as you walked past.
Thor straightened his back, turning the tablet off and fixing his shirt. He strolled over to the door, craning his neck as he called up the stairs, “I’ll go greet our new customer. I’m sure you’ll be here for a while. Clean up after you’re done with the poor man. He’s been savoring your nectar for hours.”
“Hm, the nectar of an Asgardian is always addicting, my love. Maybe you’ll have some later?” Valkyrie croons over at him.
“Don’t count on it, my dear. I’m sure you’ll be drunk with Asgardian mead by the time I’m done.”
“You know me so well… Almost as if we were-”
The door opened and shut before she could even finish her sentence.
Thor trudged down the stairs with purpose in every step. The closer he got to you, the more his loins warmed with fire. He had to hear you, your scent already caressing his nose like smell of a newly made weapon.
He saw the uncertainty in your eyes as you were trying to decide which machine to use, biting at your lip furiously. It never dawned on you that someone was edging closer. The moment his voice filtered into your ears, you looked up, stopping your search on which device you would try first..
He extended his hand towards you as your name formed on his tongue. The softness of your hand compared to the callous surface of his only but made him want you more. To him you felt like nothing that belonged on this Earth. With you in his close proximity, the light vanilla scent caressed his nose as he easily towered over you.
“Welcome to Valhalla Fitness. I am Thor, one of the owners of this fine establishment. I see you’ve gotten the welcome packet from Eleni. I would love to give you a proper tour of our facility, if you would like.”
The deep velvet coming from his mouth was all you needed to shake his hand and accept his tour invitation…

"When the British Empire occupied Palestine and set about implementing the Balfour declaration, the fossil fuel of the day was not coal. It was oil. Promising deposits had been located in the countries bordering the Persian Gulf, and the central industrial project of the Mandate came to be the pipeline that brought crude oil all the way from Iraq, across the northern West Bank and the Galilee, to the refinery of Haifa. The Mandate as such cannot be understood outside the deepening control over the region in the pursuit of oil; and the Mandate used oil to reallocate land from Palestinians to Jews. In his forthcoming Heat: A History, a wonderfully rich history of high temperatures and fossil fuels in the Middle East, On Barak shows, among many other things, how the Yishuv wrested citrus production from Palestinians by linking up with the most modern circuits of technology: irrigating their orchards with fossil-fuelled pumps, loading their fruits on lorries, sending them over roads to ports, offloading them onto steamers to the European market – a symbiosis with the fossil empire by which the natives could be squeezed out of their iconic citriculture. The Mandate authorities systematically privileged the building of roads between colonies. Oil-based infrastructure tilted Palestine in the direction of the settlements on the coastal plains and further towards their patrons on the other side of the ocean."

Condofuri, Calabria, Italy
Condofuri is a tiny village on the southernmost tip of Calabria. It's a place for locals seeking refuge from Calabria's intense summer sun. Look west across the Messina Strait and you see Sicily, with the menacing Mount Etna standing tall, and out of sight to the east is Greece.
Condofuri is part of the community of villages that is Bovesia, where Calabrian Greek can still be heard. You can read it on the road signs too, sandwiched between Calabrian and Italian. Italian is at the bottom of the list.
This coastal strip of Calabria, on the Ionian Sea, facing south, offers the bergamot an ideal habitat, protected from the northern winds by the Aspromonte mountains (a geopark protected by UNESCO).
Bergamot is a famous Calabrian citrus fruit of very ancient origins, whose essence is the basis of many perfumes and cosmetics. It is also used in the agricultural and food industry, in the production of candies, in "Earl Grey" tea, and every day it finds a new field of application. As a citrus fruit, it's classified as Citrus bergamia. The fruit has a spherical shape similar to the orange but is yellow like the lemon and the plant, by non-expert eyes, can be easily confused with both of the above mentioned citrus fruits.
Bergamot fruits grow exclusively in this area of Calabria, along the 140 km of Ionian coast.
Fertile soils and mild climate, widespread sun exposure and an average temperature among the highest in Italy, with minimal fluctuations between day and night and absence of winter frosts.

7 Essential Factors to Consider for Effective Cleaning
When it comes to selecting a cleaner for your home or workspace, the choices can be overwhelming. One option that has gained popularity in recent years is citrus-based cleaners. Not only are they effective at tackling tough stains and grime, but they also offer a pleasant and refreshing scent. In this blog post, we will explore seven key factors to consider when choosing a Citrus Cleaner NZ to ensure you get the most effective and eco-friendly product for your cleaning needs.
 1. Ingredients Transparency:
The first and foremost factor to consider when choosing a citrus cleaner is transparency regarding its ingredients. A reputable cleaner should list all its components, and ideally, it should contain natural and biodegradable ingredients. Look for citrus cleaners that are free from harsh chemicals like bleach, ammonia, and phosphates, which can be harmful to both your health and the environment.
2. Cleaning Power:
Assess the cleaner's cleaning power by checking its ability to remove various types of stains and grime. An Effective Citrus Cleaner NZ should be versatile enough to tackle grease, soap scum, mineral deposits, and more. Read reviews or seek recommendations from others who have used the product to gauge its cleaning effectiveness.
3. Eco-Friendliness:
Citrus cleaners are known for being environmentally friendly, but it's essential to verify this aspect. Look for certifications such as the EPA's Safer Choice label or third-party eco-certifications that ensure the product's minimal impact on the environment. Additionally, choose cleaners that come in recyclable or sustainable packaging to reduce waste.
4. Surface Compatibility:
Ensure that the citrus cleaner you select is compatible with the surfaces you intend to clean. Different formulations may be suitable for specific surfaces, such as glass, countertops, floors, or appliances. Check the label on Commercial cleaning products Auckland for guidance on which surfaces it is safe to use to avoid damage or discoloration.
5. Allergen-Free Formulas:
If you or your family members have allergies or sensitivities, opt for Industrial cleaning products Auckland that are formulated to be hypoallergenic and free from common allergens. This will help ensure a safe and comfortable cleaning experience for everyone in your household.
