| summary: y/n was told to follow the brightest star in the night sky, and now that very star was burning out with recent events, as secrets and lord are revealed |

She held a candelabra as she walked down a dark hallway toward the young master's chambers. She sensed his unease and decided to make warm milk with sugar to help him sleep. She opened, the door and found him sitting up in bed unable to sleep.

"I sensed your unease and made some warm milk and sugar." She said, and he looked up at her with a faint smile. As if glad she was the one to enter rather than Sebastian.

She handed him a warm milk and sugar drink. He tapped the empty space beside him and she sat on the other side of the bed. She took a sip from her mug, revealing a scar on her arm from the Campania. Despite being a demon, she never feasted on a soul and only ate human food. To fully heal, she needed rest.

He'd never been more scared in his life at that moment on the ship when she passed out in his arms as she bled out from the wound sustained from death scythe. He didn't want to lose another person he cared about.

“My mother, used to tell me to follow the brightest star in the sky.” She said smiling, as she looked down at the warm milk.

She chuckled softly as if reliving the moment. "My mother used to hold me and point to the brightest star in the night sky. She'd say, 'If I'm not here, follow that star and I'll be near.' " She took a sip of the warm milk, reminded of her mother.

She then turned towards him, “That stars name, Sirius.” She said, and he looked at her not saying a word.

“I even named my cat, Sirius,”

He couldn’t help but look at her and scoff, just as he named Sebastian after his dog. She named her cat after…

“He was the cutest little black cat ever, and had the most softest fur and cutest meows.” She said, looking at him.

“You sound just like, Sebastian.” He said, and she giggled, at what he said.

“Like father like daughter,” she said, raising the mug to her lips and taking another sip of warm milk.

Before pausing, she knew he had his reasons of keeping such a deep rooted lie. “I don’t blame you,” she said, looking down at the warm milk that was slowly starting to cool off. She rubbed the mug with her thumb before turning to look at him.

He looked at her and looked away, as if wanting to avoid the conversation. “I’ve also been lying,” She said, and he looked at her in shock.

“Pfft, who isn’t lying everyone lies that’s what people do.” He said, and she looked at him.

She finished her mug and placed it on the nightstand before turning to him. "People have their reasons, just as you had your own, and I have mine."

She then gives him a playful side eye, “Like Y/n isn’t my actual name.” She said, and he looked at her and she grinned.

He asked if y/n was her real name. She grinned and explained that it was her human name and she couldn't reveal her demon name because it was too terrifying. He gave her a deadpan stare, unamused.

She shook her head, smirking. "Don't give me that look, young master," she said before turning to face him. Leaning in, she whispered her true name - something she had never done before, and would only do for someone she trusts.

As the demonic whispers subsided, she pulled back and her eyes returned to the same color as her father. "No need to tell me your real name. You can tell me when you're ready, or never." She said, smiling and he looked at her and then looked away.

"But, I will say"

She smiled at him and said, "I've always liked the name Sirius. It's the brightest star in the night sky. It's always been there for me, and now it's my turn to be there for him," despite her panicked heart, she wanted to support him through the rough time.

She decided to give him some space and got out of bed, grabbing her mug from the nightstand. "I should go, I've already overstayed my welcome," she said.

She felt a grip on her wrist and turned to see him. "Stay," he said. She raised an eyebrow and replied, "Very well." She placed the mug on the nightstand, sat on the bed, and slipped under the covers.

As they stood facing each other, her cheeks started to flush, and they delicately interlocked their pinkies. "The name Earl Ciel Phantomhive is rightfully mine, and I am determined to take it back," he declared, with a resolute tone in his voice. She furrowed her brows a little, silently hoping that he would reveal his true identity. Nevertheless, she couldn't help but smile warmly at him and responded, "I have no doubt that you will succeed." As they settled into bed, the atmosphere was serene and tranquil.

He briefly looked at her with a smile, then took her hand and kissed it. "I want you to be by my side to help me achieve my goals," he said. She couldn't help blushing and her heart was racing.

"I'm here for you," she said as they intertwined their fingers. Using her powers, she waved her fingers to blow out the candles. They fell asleep with smiles on their faces, having found each other.

┠ Ciel is kind of confused but likes the little bit sense of humor you have in your tone…if you have any that is, he himself can be a bit sarcastic at times, but honestly people don’t often understand sarcasm from genuine and serious ways of talking, so he doesn’t do it too often, but you on the other hand…..

┠ When people ask blatantly stupid and obvious questions, Ciel has this horrible urge to use sarcasm to answer them but he doesn’t as he’s a high man but you have no fear and so you give all those answers he’s thinking but won’t speak out…

┠ People can’t even say anything to you, as you’re not their servant or kid and are a s/o of THE CIEL PHANTOMHIVE! They don’t obviously want to get ripped to shreds by his and the butler’s passive-aggressive comments or they may not be seen again….honestly depends…

┠ Sebastian honestly understand everything you say if Ciel can’t, and he tries hard not to laugh cause honestly you’re the only one who has a sense of humor in such a time, god people are miserable and especially the demon he has to serve a puppy who yaps all the time….

┠ Ciel cannot count the time you answered sarcastically to someone and they tried to make sure they don’t do anything rash…..Makes up as it is quite funny seeing the people’s reactions, it’s priceless and very funny….

┠ And you not only answer that way to other people but the servants as well obviously…and hey obviously don’t understand you, until Sebastian gives them a remark on how dumb they actually are…

Don’t mind me, just thinking about how Sebastian perfectly mastered Ciel’s tastes - and not just because his master needs to eat.

Sebastian didn’t need to master patisserie. He didn’t need to be the best cook and make food to rival that of *professionals* (as seen in the Curry arc). There was no need to go above and beyond what Ciel expected of him.

We know - canonically - that Sebastian can’t taste food in the way humans can. But he mastered the art of cooking anyway. He could have stopped when it was adequate. He could have left it the moment Ciel was satisfied with it. It is evident that he went past that stage and there’s something beautiful in that.

His complicated knowledge of what makes Ciel tick goes way beyond the contract. He genuinely respects Ciel’s wants, and clearly enjoys making the sweets his master likes.

Again, he doesn’t need to go that far.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but we’ve never seen Ciel order him to make these things *specifically.*

It winds back to the very nature of their bond - the very reason they are in it together at all. Ciel is Sebastian’s meal. That’s a done deal.

Maybe Sebastian wants every meal Ciel has to be just as exquisite as he knows his soul will be. They’re in this together, after all.

The symbolism of food in Kuroshitsuji is core to the story and something that crops up an awful lot. Sebastian’s cured interest in Ciel’s meals don’t benefit him in the slightest, (besides him being a cocky bastard who likes to be the best at everything). Perhaps at first - as he knew Ciel needed to eat - but his precision and interest goes beyond aesthetic. Call me a hopeless romantic, but it’s absolutely a form of genuine care.

If you really thought about it, technically, every meal could be Ciel’s last. Sebastian is making sure every meal and dessert is a good one and better than the last.

Anyway. Who’s excited for S4E4?

Pairing: Ciel Phantomhive x older sister!reader Warnings: mentions of past trauma (not descriptive) A/N: Thank you very much for the ask and, as usual, I'm so sorry for the delay. If you don't mind, I decided to write this as headcanons. Also, the relationship between Ciel and the reader is strictly platonic. I have decided that I will not write romantic Ciel works anymore, because he's a child. And while I did have a crush on him when we were the same age, I have moved on and it would be highly inappropriate, I believe.

I think it's safe to say that you are very important to Ciel. You are his last living relative after all.

It doesn't matter if you're close or not. I don't think Ciel would appear to want to be close to anyone, even a relative. But that isn't really the case.

Now, he's definitely not clingy. He's self-sufficient, maybe a little too much. He definitelly doesn't need to rely on you.

But that doesn't mean he doesn't like to spend time with you. On the contrary. And since you are the quiet type, it makes spending time together much more comfortable for him.

He would be the type of person to do his own thing and let you do your own, just...in the same space. He could be sorting paperwork in his office, but you would be there as well, just a few meters away from him, scribbling down in a notebook on drawing in your sketchbook.

It's comfortable, it's quiet, and it means the world to him. If he looks past the age difference (and that little voice that tells him that maybe your roles should be exchanged), he almost feels normal. And that type of peace is very rare in his life, so he takes any and every chance to spend time with you like this.

It was very strange to him though, mostly at first, when he returned to the mansion. The way you are so different. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that you have no interest in the family company, or that you rather spend time in your own head than in th real world.

He does get the appeal of that, it's just that he thinks it's...foolish. He is a logical person, who always thinks ahead, to rule out any possibility of others taking advantage of him again. If he submitted to the luxury of running away from the past that still haunts him, he would achieve nothing.

But the more time he spends with you and the more he integrates himself back into the regular world (as regular as it can be for him at least), he sees that you're many things, but not foolish. Yes, you're a dreamer, perhaps a bit naive, but not stupid.

In the end, he prouds himself to be your brother. You have a great imagination and sometimes you help him more than you could imagine. If he has a case to solve, you help give him an outside look into things from a perspective he could never even imagine.

He appreciates your art as well. It would depend on your style and whether or not you were spared the torture he went through to determine how much, but he definitely appreciates it and thinks it's beautiful. If your style is a form of self presentation, translation of your shared traumas and deepest feelings, he might like it just a smidge more.

When you present the idea of publishing your own book, he is definitely on board. He likes to read your stories anyway, he can't see why others wouldn't enjoy it. He would definitely help you find the best publisher and arrange the best deal for you (with a little help from Sebastian, if needed).

When your book becomes a hit in London and the readers as well as critics start asking for a sequel, he feels proud. Proud of himself, for helping you make your dream come true, but mostly proud of you. For not conforming to expectations of others, who would assume you'd take over the Phantomhive company, but instead following your dreams and working hard to make them come true. It is that kind of strength he really admires. But of course, he knows how the world works and so he thinks his help was neccesary (and would continue to be in the future).

In the end, you have sort of a symbiotic relationship. Whenever you need anything for your work, Ciel gets it for you. Art supplies, sketchbooks, he can get you anything and you best believe it'll be in the best quality as well. He also helps you make deals with potential publishers or anyone who is interested in your work, making sure no one tries to scam you and that you get the most benefits from your labour.

In return, he asks for nothing. You already give him everything he needs from you. Your company. He gladly takes on the task of managing the family business, if it means that you can still sit by him in his study, scribbling away, as if nothing in the world had ever gone wrong.

I was thinking about the ending of the manga.

And imagine we get a prologue scene that occurs 200 years after the completion of the contract. Sebastian is alone in hell, just watching above, until he hears the sound of a soul calling to him.

He goes to his new master, and the person that summoned him notes that this demon is wearing a peculiar ring as a pendant around his neck, a ring made of the deepest blue sapphire.

The new contractee makes a deal with this lonely devil, and then they ask him, “demon, what’s your name?”

He looks up to the sky, pensive for a moment.

The demon closes his eyes, as if remembering something important, and says with a somber smile, “Sebastian”.

✣ You met Ciel, when Sebastian introduced you both to each other. Sebastian was an elder demon who used to follow you since he met you because he had this instinct to follow you, no matter what you do and he was right as you being a chaos demon happens to be quite harming to his contracts...

✣ Whenever you would get even a hundred mile near the person he has a contract with, they would get in some type of wierd situation, but he enjoys your company even though he hates all demons, except you as you're quite helpful and you knew how to protect his masters and wouldn't be salavting over his master's soul, like he though you would.

✣ So, upon his introducing you, Ciel took you in as one of his maids and upon taking you in, he noticed the immediate change it had on the manor, the trio would cause less problems for him, Sebastian's cats aren't shoing up as often, the place is often clean and Elizabeth ins't decorating it in embarrasing yet cute decor he hates so much.

✣ As he slowly developed feelings and you both started dating, he got to learn about you being a chaos demon, he learnt how Sebastian would protect him from you accidentally bringing chaos everywhere you go, but he doesn't care as you bringing chaos isn't going to change his loves for you.

✣ He is actually quite happy you're a demon, it's because he knows you won't die and it definitely won't be easy to kill, with Sebastian polishing your skills and helping you and though you're younger and around Ciel's age in demon years, you're a fast learner, except sometimes in battles you zone out, but are still fighting and dodging your enemy amazingly except you're staring into nothing...It concerns both Ciel and Sebastian as is this even normal?

✣ Ciel now has another protector, also since you eat the souls of certain people who try to attack Ciel and have a tasty soul, you're rather full and have no need of eating Ciel's soul. If it's Sebastian who kills the perpetrator, he will bring those souls to you, but only if they are high quality souls, he refuses to have his child/sibling/problem child figure have low quality and disgusting souls..

✣ Ciel allows you wayyyy more freedom than he allows Sebastian, like you have brought in three, white tigers in the manor, and Ciel didn't even care, he was also wearing a mask, did those even exist back then? But anyways, Seb is jealous at the amount of freedom you have, except it goes away when you invite him to cuddle with those three, adult, white tigers.

✣ Also, you're just as talented in things as Sebastian despite being at such a young age like you already know 21 languages, can manipulate anyone you want, great st using multiple weapons at the same time, fighting and dodging while drinking a smoothie or eating a cake at the same time. And even though Sebastian says it's because of him, Ciel doesn't believe him because he believes you're just amazing like that!

✣ If you're happy with showing him your horns and wings on occasions, he would love to groom them, clean them, wash them and polish them nicely for you and he does it so often, he knows everything about demon self-care, you'd look all shiny and whenever you and Sebastian show each-other your wings and horns, he's surprised at how clean they are, despite knowing how you don't clean regularly...

✣ Oh, speaking of wings, he loves to cuddle you and sleep with you while you have your wings out, he gets all whiny and upset if you refuse to show them to him when you go to sleep because they're dirty or smell or whatever because you know he will drag you to clean them no matter how late at night it is, cause he now can't sleep without stroking, touching or cuddling your wings..Have fun!

✣ Overall, he doesn't really care, but he's less possessive because he knows demons don't fall for just anyone they meet, only special chosen one, so you won't fall for anybody else and because he knows you won't die during a stupid assassin!
