Personals Headcanons for the Shinigami in Kuroshitsuji

A post for @docmartensanddietcoke and for the Kuro fandom Team shinigami.

Headcanons Society Dispatch shinigami

Ronald is a « Black Dog », a nickname for the shinigami « who obey to another master that the Superiors » He don’t know that his watch hide a secret Ronald is afraid by Othello since a medical joke when he was young.

>> Othello He looks porn « for the science » He did a medical joke, with a syringe, because Ronald break something in her laboratory. He created drugs during a moment for to grow her salary. He stole a book on the futures electronics invention, notably with the big chapter on the video games He loves the science since his old life, because he could no longer to walk outside after accident where he lost her legs.

>> Rudgar The train killed him. He broke her scythe during his first work day and nobody knows how he could to do. He was an excellent hunter in her old life. He’s a « Black Dog » like Ronald. His hair never saw a hairbrush.

>> Sascha He was considered as mad because of an unknown mental sickness, so, he lived in an asylum during a mainly part a life. He's hanged in her cell. Sascha is a hermaphrodite and the 6th case of shinigami hermaphroditism. He tokes drugs for to work more longer. The situation finished in a psychiatric cell with four months of recuperation.

>> Éric Slingby He suicided after the defeat and the dead of his Scotland clan. He’s not dead (because the fanfiction exist) and he works with the young recruits but don’t know if Alan is alive too. He shared in the same bedroom of William when they were young recruits. >> Alan Humphries He’s not dead (see the precedent note) and work for the personnel department, a closed department who only communicate by pigeons or letters. He has scars of thorn of death and don’t know the situation of Éric.

>> Lawrence Anderson He’s one of first shinigami and works on the glasses since the beginning of the Dispatch.

>> Others shinigami I called Ignatus, Michael and Jonathan these three shinigami

O.C >> Jack Sutcliff It’s the twin of Grell, birth five minutes after him. (OKAY ! It’s my reaction to twin Ciels !!) He has been separate of Grell in his birth and suicided one month after him. He works in the German Dispatch for that there are not « Two Grell in the same place » and is the tutor of Rudgar. He loves to seduce the women and the opera. His hair is red and long but attached. His teeth are same as brother but her fang are more long. Her overcoat are long and black but red inside. Grell named « Jack the Ripper » in reference for this brother and sent him a photo of Madame Red. Jack is fell of love of her but was completly broken when Grell tell him that he killed her. Since this day, Jack don’t speak to Grell. He has deserted some weeks later (with her scythe and her glasses). Grell don’t know where he hides him and if he’s always in life.

>> Baskerville : He’s a black dog of emotionnal support. Grell had him a little before the War I. He’s a crossbreed between two races of sled dogs.

>> Crimson : A black cat of emotionnal support of William. He hates the demon as his master and he’s cold as him, but loves to sleep on her works papers.

O.C.C >> Ada Because since her creation in the manga, I imagine her to become a shinigami a day. Ronald is the only person that she remembers. So, Ronald will be his instructor. If her first objectify was to take Ada in his bed, she became like a sister for him as he became a brother for her.

>> Lawrence Bluer The events of Blue Arc finished by to break him. He considered himself like a shame and a danger for his sisters, and like a monster. He’s become a shinigami in the end of XIXe and became the better student of William, then her subordinate.

I've always headcanoned that Alois likes feminine things/presenting in a bit more of a feminine way because that feels a bit safer for him. Like. The Earl of Trancy specifically wanted little boys. Being a Lord was a boy's job. When Luka knew him, he was his Big Brother Jim. I think a lot of the painful and difficult experiences/expectations that were put on him were probably associated with a bit more of a man-dominated lens, so when he has the option to escape it, by GOD he does

(I mean he was very eager to wear Hannah's dress, wasn't he HGAJSD)

also he never had very many nice things that he could buy himself. growing up in poverty and you know. like even the clothes he had in the Trancy Manor were chosen by the Lord. I like to imagine he likes the gaudy, over-the-top style with a bit of sardonic irony like "Ah yes this is how NOBLES act :))) >:))"

I'm rambling and there's also no need to justify him enjoying being feminine through trauma but it adds even MORE emotional baggage and yknow what I like that

trying desperately to make creative brain juice flow guys. sometimes my wording feels off but it's been a hot minute since I've been writing on a regular basis.

Sebastian

✣ You met Ciel, when Sebastian introduced you both to each other. Sebastian was an elder demon who used to follow you since he met you because he had this instinct to follow you, no matter what you do and he was right as you being a chaos demon happens to be quite harming to his contracts...

✣ Whenever you would get even a hundred mile near the person he has a contract with, they would get in some type of wierd situation, but he enjoys your company even though he hates all demons, except you as you're quite helpful and you knew how to protect his masters and wouldn't be salavting over his master's soul, like he though you would.

✣ So, upon his introducing you, Ciel took you in as one of his maids and upon taking you in, he noticed the immediate change it had on the manor, the trio would cause less problems for him, Sebastian's cats aren't shoing up as often, the place is often clean and Elizabeth ins't decorating it in embarrasing yet cute decor he hates so much.

✣ As he slowly developed feelings and you both started dating, he got to learn about you being a chaos demon, he learnt how Sebastian would protect him from you accidentally bringing chaos everywhere you go, but he doesn't care as you bringing chaos isn't going to change his loves for you.

✣ He is actually quite happy you're a demon, it's because he knows you won't die and it definitely won't be easy to kill, with Sebastian polishing your skills and helping you and though you're younger and around Ciel's age in demon years, you're a fast learner, except sometimes in battles you zone out, but are still fighting and dodging your enemy amazingly except you're staring into nothing...It concerns both Ciel and Sebastian as is this even normal?

✣ Ciel now has another protector, also since you eat the souls of certain people who try to attack Ciel and have a tasty soul, you're rather full and have no need of eating Ciel's soul. If it's Sebastian who kills the perpetrator, he will bring those souls to you, but only if they are high quality souls, he refuses to have his child/sibling/problem child figure have low quality and disgusting souls..

✣ Ciel allows you wayyyy more freedom than he allows Sebastian, like you have brought in three, white tigers in the manor, and Ciel didn't even care, he was also wearing a mask, did those even exist back then? But anyways, Seb is jealous at the amount of freedom you have, except it goes away when you invite him to cuddle with those three, adult, white tigers.

✣ Also, you're just as talented in things as Sebastian despite being at such a young age like you already know 21 languages, can manipulate anyone you want, great st using multiple weapons at the same time, fighting and dodging while drinking a smoothie or eating a cake at the same time. And even though Sebastian says it's because of him, Ciel doesn't believe him because he believes you're just amazing like that!

✣ If you're happy with showing him your horns and wings on occasions, he would love to groom them, clean them, wash them and polish them nicely for you and he does it so often, he knows everything about demon self-care, you'd look all shiny and whenever you and Sebastian show each-other your wings and horns, he's surprised at how clean they are, despite knowing how you don't clean regularly...

✣ Oh, speaking of wings, he loves to cuddle you and sleep with you while you have your wings out, he gets all whiny and upset if you refuse to show them to him when you go to sleep because they're dirty or smell or whatever because you know he will drag you to clean them no matter how late at night it is, cause he now can't sleep without stroking, touching or cuddling your wings..Have fun!

✣ Overall, he doesn't really care, but he's less possessive because he knows demons don't fall for just anyone they meet, only special chosen one, so you won't fall for anybody else and because he knows you won't die during a stupid assassin!

Authors Note/ I have read the manga up to the last English translated volume, but I’ll stick to the public school arc characterizations of them for convenience’s sake.

CW/fem! reader but otherwise no physical description , fluff, kindof accurate Victorian courting, a little angst, manga spoilers! I most definitely forgot this arc was getting animated, so I’m late, might be a little OOC, it’s been a few months since I read the manga

Edgar Redmond

Flattery was his main method of gaining your affections: descriptive poems sent to your mailbox, tulips and chocolates left on your doorstep by a mysterious admirer—a carefully held facade that fell apart when Edgar realized just how badly he wanted your affections returned.

While he has always considered himself a free spirit, capable of swiftly moving from one lover to another, he has an epiphany when he realizes he needs exclusivity with you. Edgar has found something beyond flings with you, a woman who can truly make him nervous; make his heart beat against his chest every time you bless him with a glance.

He isn’t always the most touchy lover, but he tends to take your arm in his while the two of you are out together. (He’ll do nothing more, as he doesn’t want rumors to spread around your private relationship.)

Edgar tends to fuss over you a bit, fixing your dresses, brushing his fingers over your coat, and generally keeping your appearance looking tidy; it’s an act of service that displays his affections for you.

Lawrence Bluewer

When I say all of his sisters gang up on him to tease him about his crush on you, I mean it. Lawrence tried his best to keep his love for you a secret, but his yearning glances over his glasses reveal his truth. They encourage him to speak to you, giving him advice about what women like. (Trust me, he needs it.)

Lawrence is a very dedicated man, particularly when it comes to you. He holds up all of the important customs of an exemplary Victorian man and treats you as an equal in all matters.

He’s adamant on listening to your opinion on matters involving the two of you, but he’ll also ask for your opinions on issues in his home and dorm. Your opinion is important to him.

Lawrence is a very intelligent young man; if you ever find yourself struggling with your schoolwork or a matter of principle in your personal life, he’ll help out to the best of his ability.

Call him by any affectionate nickname, and that carefully held stoicism crumbles before you, and a red tint suddenly appears on his pale face. The only time he ever broke his own rules was after the cricket match, when he embraced you tightly in the stands after winning, so much more proud of his victory now that you had seen it.

Herman Greenhill

It feels as if someone has struck him in the heart each time he lays his eyes on you. He can feel the warmth of his skin and the sweating of his palms each time he tries to talk to you without stumbling through his words. Herman is so utterly rigid and awkward around you, it’s completely obvious he’s head over heels.

He’s often flustered around you, even when you’re already courting, as one of his ideals of chivalry and respect is treating ladies kindly. He acts like a strict old man and a shy schoolboy at the same time, wanting your touch so desperately but bashing himself for it.

You will probably have to enact most of the affection between the two of you, sneaking kisses when your chaperone turns away, holding his hand when you walk into a more private corridor of his residence, and cheering loudly at his games. The easiest way to get a reaction from Herman is by showing off your stockings; he’s a sucker for good hosiery.

Despite his proud and sort of arrogant personality, Herman is a shy and careful lover; he remembers all of your favorites and special days, and he loves receiving your praise. Whenever he achieves something, he immediately looks to you, waiting to see what you make of him.

Gregory Violet

You wouldn’t even know of his existence when he first saw you, but he was always there, with a thick black sketchbook filled with drawings of you, going about your daily routine and interacting with others in a way he only wished he could. The sheer amount of yearning he does could put the poets to shame.

You are his muse; even when Gregory is creating something completely irrelevant to you, he’ll remember you; you are so infused with everything he makes. Because he has put you on this goddess-like pedestal, he doesn’t think he deserves you, which is why he’s so surprised when you agree to court him.

Gregory’s affection comes in bursts; some days he’ll be too nervous to look you in the eye, but other times he’s practically joined at your hip. He’s not the most talkative lover, but when his eyes flit through you, examining you closely with a blush stretched across his features, he appreciates you like you are art.

He plays the role of the gentleman in public, keeping his respectful distance, but he often seeks your comfort in the few moments you can sneak alone, laying his head on your lap as you brush through his two-toned hair and rambling uncharacteristically about the struggles of his role. He’s a non-conformist, and he often wished the society you lived in wasn’t so strict, so that you and him could act as wild and free as you did in the leather binding of his sketchbook.

his favorite part of you is your neck and back. he likes to leave bites, marks and kisses in discreet places. You don't want other people to find out that you're doing wrong things with your butler. how indecent of you, right? He can spend hours nibbling and sucking your skin, wanting to leave it as a witness to how much he pleases you. he's not pleased that you only carry the mark of the contract, he chuckles knowing that your skin wants him.

he really doesn't care. Sorry for the late answer. I'm not much in the Kuro fandom since the blue arc and i'm just to back since that Ronald is back. So, i don't remembered all my headcanon with shinigami, but i will do a post on my headcanon list.

Here, i wanted to tell you my personal headcanon that i always kept in my head :

It's my big headcanon

He exists a shinigami department call "Department of suicides". Inside, there have some shinigami who the work of to retrieve the soul of persons who suicided and to make each file after. I think that it's probably the only situation where the case "observation" is used. The death by suicide is problematic because it's an unexpected death and the souls are lucky food for the demons. They need to work quickly. After that, they keep the souls in her scythe and gone her into the place where she will become a shinigami.

The shinigami who work in this particular department are humans who committed a suicide also, but who before, were humans who they were part of 1% of human that the death save because they were important for the world. So, their punishment is to see humans abandonned their life because they don't believe the hope of a better life during knowing their future punishment. So, these shinigami are a little group. There are a shinigami for eah way of die.

They are puissant, because they are particular soul who already win against the death. They are omnipotent, are the ubiquity capacities, are very good fighters and have an incredible memory, they can to remember of all shinigami who that they retrieved in the past.

In exchange, they are completely blind and see another world. They can't to intervene in the cases of humans and shinigamis. And it's the bad part because they want to help some shinigami. Also, because they work on particular case, the Superiors can't to give order, so this department work alone and isolated.

For the shinigami, the Department of suicide is a legend, even if none shinigami doesn't remember to have retrieved a soul of a suicided person.

The department work on the soul of dead shinigami, so, they are invisible for the human and the shinigami but like a "normal" shinigami, they decided to kill or not the shinigami…

Some shinigami are dead for the Shinigami Society, not for this department.

A thing also, when a shinigami want to be committed a suicide for the second time, they come immediately.

I imagine them like tall shinigami, with a big scythe and black glasses and coat on her shoulders.

I imagine them also come to help to train the shinigami who are complicated to educ. It's why i had this idea, because i imagined that Ronald was an unstable bad boy, and he needs a tutor in his first days before to train by Grell, who have the same problem when it was young.
