Glen sat in the chair as they waited for their mom to come back with the drinks. In all honesty they thought this was a bad idea, sure they needed answers but the way their mom had been acting the past few months, it didn't look like those questions would be answered. Like why they had memories of things they don't remember? who was this Nica Pierce they had seen in the news? and most of all was Jennifer really being honest about their childhood and who their dad was.
Glen sighed as they looked over to their twin, "You don't think she's really keeping things from us, do you?" They asked their twin, feeling like this was a waste of time. Don't get them wrong they truly cared for their mom but what if it all was true that they have been living a lie this entire time?...
Glenda shrugged. "I don't know... I mean hell if she was it wouldn't be surprising- Speaking of which where is she? I'll be back-" Glenda would be seen leaving the living room to find their mom.
Glen would soon be left with their thoughts, just as it got some what quiet they heard the knocking of something again inside of a room not far from the room they were in now. they pulled at the sleeves of their shirt, getting up out of their seat to see what that noise was, following the noise to the door of their mom's room. They knew they probably shouldn't be searching for answers that probably weren't even there, but something didn't feel right about it.

festive muse rambles are good for the soul !!
ridiculously competitive gingerbread house competitions that she always fails badly . like - her gingerbread house is caving in , the icing is still lumpy & the door to the house is missing - level bad.
kyle has a pet cat called dorian ( she says it s named after dorian gray although she's never read it ) dorian has his own cat friendly advent calendar.
cannot stand mariah carry , leaves the room when " all i want for christmas is you " plays and somehow she still knows all the words.
she looooves christmas horror movies and always invites invites andy over on december 10 th to watch ' silent night , deadly night. ' she's done it every year since she got her own place to live.
has never read ' a christmas carol ' probably will never read ' a christmas carol. ' yet quotes a muppet's christmas carol like her life depends on it.

Still thinking about that scene after the Richas no-armor near death scare, with q!Bad taking him & q!Felps to the church cemetery
How it started with Bad explaining that the other day, him and Dapper came to the cemetery to sing happy birthday for the eggs who passed on. Then him just bluntly telling Richas:
“Do you want us to celebrate your birthday here one day?
Like… that hit hard. for q!Bad this statement carries a lot of personal weight- he was there for each egg death, and felt each harder than the last. seeing a death message in chat genuinely scares him to the point he’s developed these crazy trauma reflexes to go save them. every single month on the eggs’ birthday he visits the graves to leave presents and sing, tells them about the happenings on the island, how their parents are doing, how much everyone misses them. that he’s still doing the best he can to protect their siblings.
Seeing Richas endanger himself with that risky behavior is rightfully upsetting.
But he still explained to Richas that he’s not trying to scare him by bringing him to this place and saying all this about life and death, he’s trying to educate & show that there’s so many people on the island who care about Richas and would be upset if something happened to him. especially if it was some silly death that could’ve been easily prevented if he just protected himself better with armor. he hopes that Richas could understand that, even just a little.
And before leaving, Bad made sure to take a moment to speak directly with the graves:
“See, guys? Don’t worry. I’ll do everything I can to keep your sibling safe, okay? ….Even if it’s from himself.”
gut punch. this whole scene hurt. but we all really love this little egg sooo much <3

yeah tell us about sean the ugly baby
okay so,
back in february I got bored and wanted to draw a character of mine from an rp group, but I didn't have any ideas. So I simply put him into the sims and drew what happened and posted it to the group. I chose Sims 2 for the variety, and went in. Making a 2000's version of my oc, Frankie, to do silly things for me to draw and my friends to giggle at:
And it was silly and fun! But during this, he ended up getting abducted by aliens, which was absolutely hilarious at the time.
However, in the sims series, there's an odd little thing that happens. Male sims that were abducted by aliens have a chance to come back pregnant. Well in the Sims 2: male sims were guaranteed to come back pregnant, only in later expansions did they introduce the possibility of it not happening.
So he got pregnant. whatever, just a bunch of mpreg jokes. Right? Well it turns out there's a small chance that Alien babies end up with their human parent's eyes! Which wouldn't be so bad with the base eyes, but I happen to use custom content.
So I was expecting this:

which was SO HORRIFYING and not what I was expecting. It took all my willpower to not name this baby something mean like "Beebo the Ugly child". So I named him Sean. Because that was the first non-mean name I could think of.
Of course, my character loved and cared for him. After all, he was a kind person who would love his mpreg baby no matter how ugly he was.
I however, did not.
I hoped that he might just be an ugly baby, and that he'll grow out of it as he gets older.
He did not.
he got UGLIER.
This horrifying Benjamin Button ass space creation haunted my home for 4 sim days. We prayed once again, that he was simply an ugly duckling. That he was simply going to grow into more age-appropriate features.
Sean once again, disappointed me.
It was torture having to care for a sim I hated so much, but couldn't be cruel to because it was simply out of character for my ocs to hate him. Sean got treated with the utmost kindness. He got everything a child could hope for.
Didn't stop me from making jokes though.
