Nova is a big fan of biting and chomping, so I've given her a chewy pendant to keep those teeth busy.

Nico and Will are both the neurodivergent boyfriend who bites the other to show affection. When the others see them biting each other's arms, they buy them a giant pack if chewy stim necklaces. Nico and Will use it, but they still bite each other daily

huge request that's a long shot: did anyone get the silver spaceship chew necklace from stimtastic before it shut down? I had one that was my comfort item for a LOOOOONG time, and then my ex took it 🙃 so if anyone has one, even one thats been chewed a little, i'm willing to pay to find one! even if you don't have it, a quick rb would help too!!

Did a little drawing of Splash the gorgonops with my chewy necklace since I've been enjoying it the past few days and his colours kind of match! Not drawn to scale obviously.

The Play That Goes Wrong - Chris & Dennis - Autism Acceptance Month Prompt 10 : Stim Toys
Prompt : Write a fic in which an Autistic character uses a stim/fidget toy Headcanons : Female!Chris, Autistic!Dennis
Dennis had gotten himself a chew necklace. It was one of the only fidget toys he'd bought for himself, because he did feel some level of shame over such things, but he also knew that endlessly chewing through pencils was both wasteful of those items and bad for his teeth so something made for chewing was a good idea.
He'd tuck it under his shirt while they were actively rehearsing but, backstage, he would often gnaw on the thing if he got too overwhelmed or just needed to do something. He'd have to take breaks once he realized the constant chewing could cause him headaches, but it was a welcome change nonetheless and one that the rest of the Society respected.
One particular dress rehearsal before The Murder at Haversham Manor, Dennis was backstage, chewing on one of his fingers. See, he didn't have his chew necklace on him because he was in costume. The item was in his cabinet in the guys' dressing room and it didn't even cross his mind to get it when his anxiety started ramping up.
Chris saw him sitting on the couch, chewing up his fingers, and frowned. She went over to the guys' room, knocked on the door and, upon being let in, got the necklace out of Dennis' cabinet. She then went back out to the hall where he was sitting and walked over, handing him the necklace. He smiled gratefully up at her and timidly put the silicone in his mouth, beginning to chew on it.
"Thank you, Chris" he said after a moment, the toy still between his teeth. She smiled and patted him on the shoulder.
"We can't have our Perkins all stressed out now, can we?"

I'm so flabbergasted at the turn of events. I remembered reading a post about getting Beelzebub chew necklaces. I looked them up and found them interesting and could be helpful but kind of forgot about the post but never the sticks. Now here I am at my desk chewing on one and fucking remembered it all of a sudden. I guess shout out to that post. I wish I could credit them.

I'm 26 and autistic. How acceptable is chewy/chewellery for adults?
Backstory is that several months ago I got a chew necklace because I thought it might actually do me some good for reasons I won't go into here. It's helped a ton, actually. Up until today I haven't had any issues using it in public and even family friends never so much as batted an eye st it.
Today my mom and I made a trip out to the big city (we live in the sticks) and decided to take one of my mom's friends out to lunch. Now we didn't know my mom's friend had an issue with this beforehand. My mom paid for her lunch, etc. Through the day I used my chewy and she kept giving me weird looks. Now she knows I'm on the waiting list for reevaluation at one of the only two clinics in my state that evaluate adults and since I found out I was diagnosed as a kid, I've been pretty open about it.
Basically what I'm asking is whether chewellery is okay for adults. I don't care about my outward appearance so much as looking childish. I just don't want to have meltdowns to where I hit myself in the head repeatedly.
