“any time now, y/n,” yeonjun says, playfully impatient.

you swallow thickly, liquid eyeliner in hand as you hover over your best friend. you’ve known each other for years, but you don’t think you’ve ever been so physically close before.

was she always this pretty? did her lips always look this full?

did her boobs always look this good in this shirt? you’ve seen her in it before, a black square neck crop top, her cleavage poking out of the top, soft and supple and oh, so kissable.

but you can’t do that. you shouldn’t even think of doing such a thing.

“mkay, close your eyes,” you say, leaning forward to apply dark brown eyeliner to yeonjun’s eyelids. your stomach turns as you observe more of her beautiful features. long eyelashes, button nose, her soft cheeks… and again, those full, pink pouty lips just begging to be kissed.

but you can’t do that.

you shouldn’t, you’re just friends.

“make me look pretty, ‘kay?” yeonjun says.

“whatever, just don’t move,” you respond dryly. she doesn’t need your help with that at all. she’s already so beautiful and funny and outgoing and magnetic and charismatic and…

“jjunie, i think i love you.”

the words left your lips before you could even stop them.

yeonjun’s eyes shoot open and she looks right up at you.

“what?”

“i… uh, i was just joking! what, can’t take a joke?” you force out a laugh. yeonjun isn’t convinced.

“y/n, be so for real right now,” she says. she props herself up on her elbows and you move back, prepared to get off of her lap, but you’re taken by surprise when you feel her hands on your hips, forcing you to stay.

“nope, stay right there,” she says firmly. “you’re gonna repeat what you said, right now.”

your confusion must make itself apparent on your face because yeonjun makes a face at you.

“you heard me. if you’re gonna say what you said, say it with your chest.”

you feel sick to your stomach. you can feel the warmth of her hands through the fabric of your skirt.

“i-i can’t,” you say with a shake of your head.

“you just did.”

“i know, and that was stupid.”

“why?”

“what?”

“why was it stupid?” yeonjun asks. curse her need to always know the answer.

“because! we’re not… like that.”

“like what?”

“you ask a lot of questions.”

“i just wanna hear you say it,” yeonjun’s hands slide up from your hips to rest softly on your waist.

she knows exactly what she’s doing. if there’s one thing yeonjun has down to a science it’s her ability to wear you down.

“i said i think i love you, jjunie.”

“see? how hard was that?” she says with a smirk and you push her hands off of your body.

“whatever, just forget i said anything.”

you move to get off of her lap, but she holds you in place with her strong hands. your heart is pounding as you straddle her.

“aht, i didn’t say you could leave yet. you said you think you love me. what do i have to do to make you know it?”

What is Viktor up to this time?

(Incorrigible child istg) aka latest Cherry Blossoms snippet!

“Your father?” Viktor tilted his head. “I thought you mentioned him…”

“Ah, yes,” Angel said softly, “he disowned me after he found out I preferred gallivanting about with… well, men.” Blush creeped across Angel’s cheeks as his eyes met Viktor’s crimson ones.

“Men,” Viktor let out a small laugh, “Ah, I must admit, I do find myself quite enthralled with a certain fair-haired boy… could it be that this boy might have feelings for me as well?”

The pink on Angel’s cheeks darkened into a deep red. “I…” he looked down, the ghost of a smile upon his lips. “Possibly,” he whispered. “What would it be to you?”

Viktor chuckled, shaking his head softly. “It might as well mean the world to me.”

“Is that true?” His Angel looked up with rosy cheeks and glittering eyes.

He nodded, a genuine smile crossing his lips. “Yes.”

Angel let out a small gasp. “You have fangs?”

At that Viktor giggled. “Yes, sweet blossom, I have fangs. I am a vampire, you know…”

“I- I know,” he stammered, face burning. “I just… I’ve never met one before.”

“Well, let me be your first,” he grinned, setting his glass down and leaning closer to Angel.

Angel’s eyes widened and he flinched away reflexively. That didn’t deter Viktor, who kept approaching, eyes glimmering with something almost… predatory.

“Viktor?” Angel whimpered, leaning further, frantically backing away on his palms.

Viktor chuckled and in a second, he was gone, a distant blur before Angel fell to the ground with a thud almost as if he was thrown.

He let out a soft gasp and quickly assessed that Viktor was on top of him, firmly pressing Angel’s arms against the grass above his head.

Viktor was… bewitching. All soft angles and long dark hair, unnaturally red eyes staring into Angel’s soul, yet every nerve in his body was pulled taught, telling him he ought to be terrified. Viktor’s dark lips were tilted into a smirk, the tip of sharp white fangs peeking out from between his lips, and Angel would be lying to say it didn’t make some less… common parts of him burn.

“Vikkie, please don’t hurt me,” he breathed in a weak voice, breath rattling in his chest with uncertainty. “Please?”

WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS LESSON IN CONSENT OAJDOHAOJA

@dancinginsepia you seem to absolutely love Angel and Vik even if you've just met them so here's a snippet of their first dialogue from Cherry Blossoms :)

“Hello? Do I know you?” The young man asked with wide eyes, a prettily sculpted brow arched in questioning. His voice was high and airy, like a dove’s song, very charming to the ear.

“I don’t believe so, darling~” Viktor’s lips twisted up into a smirk, his gaze boring into the doe eyes of his snack. “You have a lovely neck…” he singsonged, tongue darting out to run along his bottom lip longingly.

“Thank you?” The blonde replied, facial features only falling further into confusion.

“I would so love to have a taste~” Viktor tilted his head coyly, bending down and placing a teasing kiss against the slender slope of the other boy’s neck, smirking softly at the tortured gasp he let out. The skin was warm against the cool of his lips, filled with blood, and it smelled even sweeter up close… he didn’t know how long he could hold himself back… but he’d wait. He’d always liked playing with his food, after all.

He pulled away to see the blonde staring incredulously at him, a mix of surprise, confusion, and a touch of fear dancing in those tawny eyes.

“W-what on earth would give you permission to do something like that?” The blonde asked, trying to look angry but only looking adorable.

“I can take whoever I want~” Viktor smiled, revealing perfect, pearl-white teeth. Aside from the two very obvious fangs where his canines should have been.

The blonde’s eyes grew larger as he stumbled a step back. “You’re… you’re a vampire…” he said, voice surprisingly calm.

Vik strode across the space separating the two of them in a matter of seconds, arm snaking around the blonde’s waist, pulling him straight. “Don’t want you to fall over~ be more careful, my sweet blossom.”

“A vampire…” the blonde looked up incredulously, repeating his words, as if trying to convince himself.

“Yes, darling~ I am a vampire,” he chuckled darkly. “Scared~?” He teased, gently running his tongue across his fangs.

The blonde swallowed, a small whimper escaping those sinful lips as he realized the vampire’s grip was much too strong to attempt escaping.

Viktor chuckled at the blonde’s reactions. He could not have anticipated how fun this was going to be. The way the blonde’s body reacted… It was like playing an instrument, the other man’s body so perfectly tuned to his… mortals were so clueless. He loved letting his prey know exactly what took their lives in the end. No point in hiding his gorgeous vampire nature.

Except this time, it wasn’t the end for his pretty little snack. As a vampire’s soulmate, he could be drained as much as his mate pleased and would live. Viktor’s personal blood bank. He couldn’t wait to have a taste.

“My sweet blossom...” he murmured seductively, lips an inch from the blonde’s ear, not far from that delicious neck, “would you mind if I bite you?”
