yandere! chat blanc 🌑 general headcanons

chat blanc x gn reader

content warning: yandere content, stalking, posessiveness/obsessiveness, mention of killing + guilt-tripping

word count: 884 words

• before your meeting with one another, he was already so far accquainted with you but of course, you don't know have to know about that.

• you caught his attention with how alive your energy was, it drew him in to you. he's admire you from afar for countless of weeks, memorizing your habit of movements and your day to day schedule.

• when he finally does feel certain to approach you, he comes to you as a friendly, concerned hero and asking you where the akumatized person went. he finds himself purposefully putting you in a dangerous situation just to only save you and have you indebted to him. chat blanc yearns for any sort of validation that'll feed his big ego.

• after that encounter, you notice how chat blanc is always near you. everyday. whether it be if it's a slow day and no one gets akumatized, you'll see him patrolling no matter where you look it. it was like he was everywhere with you but you brushed it off as him doing his job.

• with how many times you've encountered chat blanc already, you find yourself growing closer to him. he always subtly flirted with you that would be unnoticed to the naked eyed but you had always managed to catch it. with time, you grow closer with him and so does your relationship circumstances.

• you quickly learned that he wasn't what he was on the surface level and what you had always perceived him as of. chat blanc has posessive tendencies which can be ruled off as him being simply clingy but he sticks to you like glue. he wants to be apart of everything you experience, be in every moment with you and to never have you leave his sight.

• when you're away, he has horrible seperation anxiety. he knows where you are, he always does. but that doesn't stop his anxiety. it's nothing specific but it all stems from his father's negligence (something that you don't really know much of but still, chat blanc opened up a bit to you).

• he loves to (exclusively) call you his "princess/my prince" with every chance he's given. lots of physical affection, no matter or wherever whenever you're with blanc, his hands would always be on you. snuggling, putting his heard on your shoulder with this arms around your waist. if he isn't touching you, he'll look at you straight in the eye with no doubt.

• he simply loves your hands in his. he absolutely loves to draw circles with his thumb on yours and give occasional squeezed. he'd lift the back of your hand up to his cheek and would close his eyes and pur at the feeling. he'd open his eyes, half-lidded, with such a pure and content expression on his face, your heart just melts at the scene. he'll lick your face all over like a cat grooming itself and then would play it off as a joke but you know he genuinely loves licking you.

• he loves to just bite you. your arm, hand, cheek, neck. he'll sometimes (almost all the time) leave your neck with hickeys (even if that isn't the intention at times), preceding to give you a bite mark along with it and then will be smugly oblivious of your annoyance.

• back to his possessiveness, chat blanc gets easily jealous to the people around you and prefer it if he can just isolate you from everyone else. even if someone is conveniently standing next to you, he'd scare the poor person off with all of his glaring as his mind travels to a much darker part of his brain on what to do.

• he brands you as "his", whether if you're dating him or not, he brands you as a "his" and vice versa. he feels entitled for your affection and is unable to handle rejection in any form. he holds you in such a high pedastal and would quite literally unconditionally love you as he unreasonably expects the same from you.

• he's willing (and wanting) to go through such deep lengths to keep you happy in any way. he'll do anything for you, even if it's something he despires doing, as long as it manages to get a giggle out of you, he'll learn to love it as you love it. chat blanc, with no hesitation, would and will kill for you. it can be a bully of yours years ago or someone simply mocking you, you'll always see them again on the news declared as "missing".

• he loves your humility and does not want to "corrupt" you in any way, so when you are suspicious of him relating to the recentissing people, you don't pry much as chat blanc goes out his way to guilt-trip you on your suspicions. "do you not trust me?"

• chat blanc is controlling and he knows just the right ways to make you vulnerable for him but he's desperate for you all the very same. he may have a cold front to others but you bring out a side of him that he didn't even knew he had. he loves you, and he knows it all too well, even if that sense of love that he discerns for you is twisted.

Hey guys

Remember when marinette was almost akumatized cause everyone thought she actually cheated?

Well, what would happen if she did get akumatized but like in another scenario cause reasons

They were in the classroom, and Lila was lying again

And this time she went too far

She went after Alya

It was already a terrible day for Marinette. A day filled with accidents and embarrassment and the only thing that brightened her day was Alya's attempts to cheer her up

But then Lila came with some stupid claim that Alya was cheating on Nino?!

And she dared to phrase it like she’s concerned about her dear friend Nino's sake?

Really, how can you blame Marinette for snapping

For letting go

For wanting to teach that liar that she’s not allowed to so much as look at her friends

And for a moment all she saw was white

A voice whispered in her ears

"Marinette Dupain-cheng, aren't you tired of these poisonous word that girl spouts wherever she goes? Don't you want to bring an end to her lies, if only to retrieve your friend's honour and preserve her reputation? I can give you the power to show the truth, and all I ask for in exchange are the ladybug and chat noire's miraculousses"

Marinette knew that she couldn't accept, but everyone was already asking questions and the look on Alya's face was all the motivation she needed

"I accept" Everyone looked shocked at Marinette, they've heard her voice so void as if she's lost the ability to feel, but soon the shock became fear as they saw familiar black mist engulf there dear friend

Before the mist could fully clear, Marinette jumped and pinned Lila to the door, keeping everyone from leaving or entering the room.

The first thing they saw were piercing red eyes that were staring into Lila's soul. Claws sharp as blades were clenched around her throat, keeping her from moving an inch.

She wore a suit and a mask that vaguely represented chat noire if not for thier snow white colour

"Li~la" she sing-song with a wicked smile sending shivers down her classmates' spines

"Dear, dear Lila, we can do this the easy way or the hard way," Marinette flicked her nose as her smile grew showing razor sharp teeth

"You can either tell us all the truth, or I can see what my new powers can do! You know, hawkmoth was very vague about what they could do, and, between you and me, I hope they're very painful"

Marinette's tail launched itself at adrien's wrist, making him get away from the window he was about to jump off

"Nuh-uh-uh, adrikens, cant let you summon chat noire or ladybug!"

"You’ve been awfully quiet, Lila. Does that mean you chose the hard way? Oh my, looks like we'll all see what my powers do!"

Marinette raised her hand and slowly put it on Lila's forehead, and to everyone’s horror, the finger sunk into her skull as if it was soft butter, and when it came out several white clouds followed.

"Now let's see all the memories that have anything to do with Alya" with a snap of her fingers, each cloud started showing all and any memories Lila had that contained Alya, and one by one the clouds disappeared as these memories came to an end, showing no signs of Alya cheating.

Only one cloud stayed, showing particular memory that seems to have happened in Lila's home

"Oooh, I don't see why you'd have any memories of Alya in your house, and this memory seems to have happened today! Shall we watch?" With a twirl of her hand, the cloud became big enough for everyone to see

"W-wait! I was just thinking th-that Alya's shirt would look nice on me!"

"Marinette, please let her go. I’m pretty sure everyone believes me by now"

"Marinette, this is not the right way to do it-"

"Silence!" Marinette turned for the first time towards her friends only to see them flinch, and oh did that hurt her, but she has a mission, and she'll be damned if she didn’t go through with it.

"C'mon Alya, you of all people know how important evidence is, and besides I've already set up the memory, so let's just hi~gher up the volume and watch this memory" with a snap of her fingers, the memory started playing

"-i feel like I’m becoming just a background character in the class. Time to trick these idiots with a lie, but I can't use Marinette this time, though it's so fun to mess with her. Hmm, maybe if I can't mess with her, I can mess with her best friend. Oooh that will rile her up, and maybe she'll give the class more reasons to dislike her without me needing to do anything! Oh my god today's gonna be fun!"

Marinette clenched her fist, and the cloud disappeared. She let go of Lila and fully faced her classmates

"And as you all saw, Lila was lying, and thus I've proven Alya innocent!" She smiled sweetly at her classmates, before a voice came that made her smile disappear

"Good job, such a wonderful act! It quite deeply moved me. Now dont forget my part of the deal, dear"

"Oh, yeah, did I forget to mention? The deal is off, Hawkmoth"

Everyone stayed quiet, unsure what they just heard.

"Wait, she can do that?-"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE DEAL IS OFF! I GAVE YOU YOUR POWE-"

"Geez, calm down, old man" Marinette moved to sit down at her desk as calmly as can be

"I don't really feel like getting my ass kicked, sooo the deal is off. Also like, come on, what can I do with these powers? Threaten to show there most embarrassing memories? Nah man, I'd rather not fight"

"If you want more powers to defeat them, then i shall-"

"No, no no no, you got it all wrong. I don't want to fight, like at all. So you either take back the akuma, or it stays right here wasted on the one person who refuses to fight the two superheroes who can kick ass"

Silence stretched for a moment, before hawkmoth started speaking again.

"Fine, as you wish, but remember that you brought this upon you"

"Yeah, yeah, just tak-" Marinette suddenly stiffened, as she felt something growing in her lungs.

She started coughing violently as deep, purple sludge fell out of her mouth, slowly engulfing her. Her coughs grew more violent making her fall off the desk.

"MARINETTE" several of her classmates ran to her, afraid that there friend got hurt.

As the last of whatever that sludge left her lungs, Marinette's coughs became weak, and soon it dissipated leaving Marinette on the floor looking pale, tired and in pain.

"Marinette! Are you okay??" Alya screamed as she pulled her best friend closer

"Fuuuuck never again"

"Hold on girl, I'm taking you to the nurse"

"B-but what about-" she reached towards the akuma that no one saw was flying away

"It's okay, Mari. I'll take care of it" tikki whispered before sneaking away after the akuma.

"What did you say?" Alya asked as she supported Marinette on her feet

Marinette looked at everyone in the room, and felt so guilty.

"I'm so sorry for scaring you all, and for hurting you, Adrien"

"No!-"

"Don't worry about it-"

"It didn't really hurt-"

"Happens to the best of us-"

"It happened to most of us-"

Marinette smiled weakly, but she insisted

"Thank you all, but I really am sorry. And Lila," She then turned to Lila, opened her but she hesitated, took a deep breathe, then looked Lila in the eyes

"I'm not sorry"

"Hey Marinette, how, how did you resist Hawkmoth"

"I'm not sure, tikki. I was aware of what's happening around me. I knew that I was being akumatized, and I just- I let happen! What if I couldn't resist! What I-"

"Marinette! It's okay-"

"NO, it's not! I could have lost you!"

"But you didn't, and all you wanted was to help your friend! That doesn't seem as bad as you make it sound. Now, lay on your bed and have some rest, and maybe we can talk to master Fu tomorrow. Maybe he knows how you were in control the whole time"

"...alright. Thank you, tikki. Goodnight"

"You're welcome, Marinette. Have sweet dreams"

"Hey, tikki? "

"Yes?"

"How did you neutralise the akuma?"

"Oh, I just ate it!"

I mean, discounting everything that lead up to and happened in Kuro Neko as Maribug telling Adrichat to fuck off bc she doesn't need him is a super one sided and kinda disingenuous look at it.

All of Maribugs choices are stemming from her trauma. Trauma from heroing in general, from events like Chat Blanc in specific that make her wary of her own partner, and the trauma Fu accidentally passed onto her with both his own paranoia and sacrificing himself right in front of her.

Just like all of Adrichats choices, to hide his actual feelings for the sake of someone who's love he's been taught he has to earn, are stemming from the trauma he got from the massively abusive childhood his parents subjected him to.

Trauma isn't logical, or rational, so of course neither of these unsupervised fourteen year olds with the weight of an entire city on their shoulders are making logical or rational decisions.

And bc their issues match up in just the wrong way, Maribug losing her mentor and getting a butt load more responsibility dumped solely in her lap by said mentor who taught her not to trust her partner drop kicked her into a spiral that she unintentionally dragged Adrichat into by virtue of them being partners and working so closely together.

Maribug became Guardian out of nowhere, due to a tragic event she held herself responsible for. She'd been taught for an unknown amount of time, but presumably a few months, by a man who had more than a century to get stuck within a paranoid rut, and trauma specifically centered around her partner gaining information.

So when even more responsibility is dumped on her and her alone by her paranoid mentor, she's been primed for months to lean away from the partner who she should have been taught to trust and who should have been treated like her equal by their mentor from the start.

And Maribug leaning away from him unknowingly triggered Adrichat's own issues. He felt unheard and unnecessary as a hero and partner, just like he commonly felt at home with his parents abusive parenting styles, but bc he's been trained his whole life to bottle up his issues and be seen and not heard, that's what he tries to do with Ladybug.

And even though the actions Adrichat takes are more passive and quiet, verses Maribugs more active ones, they do just as much to aggravate both of their issues even further.

Maribug can't change her harmful behaviors if Adrichat is actively bottling up and hiding the pain she's causing from her, which meant she just pulled away from him even more without realizing how she was making him feel until he just quit, possibly seeming to her like it was a bit out of the blue, and actively adding onto the massive workload she's already been saddled with.

And these aren't issued that either of them should be expected to somehow get a handle on and get over and fix all by themselves at the age of fourteen.

Honestly Adrichat and Maribug just need one single, solitary adult in their lives who gives a shit about them and actually teach them to communicate and also get them into therapy.

Anyway, tl;dr, fuck the Guardians and Su Han in particular bc so much of this stems from their abusive ways of teaching that kicked off literally everything in the series and started the cycle of paranoia Maribug (and by extension everyone in her life, hero or civilian) is the latest victim of

Oh yeah no it's.

I totally get why they're both like that and don't think she was doing it just callously.

It's. It's basically how I write the Chloé/Sabrina cycle Up of trauma in HC/LL. They're a match made in hell because their trauma responses feed into one another.

Marinette's trauma response is to clam up and take on all responsibility herself, shoving away anyone who wants to help. Adrien's trauma response is to pretend things are fine and do whatever he can to please the people he cares about.

Which means that unless acted on by a third party, they're going to keep circling and getting worse

I would love to theorize about what could happen in the kwami-related episodes basing myself on the speculation that we'll see "akumatized villain + miraculous" but I just don't have the head to do so currently, tho I've been reading two fics with really interesting ideas (love to see that Sandboy appears in both)

But the one episode that intrigues me the most is "Destruction", idk where I saw the hc of Chat Blanc possibly making a come back, but how??? Also I bet the episode will be different from the supposed "akumatized villain + miraculous" thematic for obvious reasons, unless something happens that causes Adrien to lose the miraculous??? Nah I don't think so, so the other possible outcome is a Chat Noir power-up? Please I hope that's the issue

2 types of hero Chat Noir Au

(Before you continue I just want you to note that Im not a big fan of ladinette)

In this Au Adrien is still chat not but he has 2 costumes and stuff

maybe his name is midnight walker He is pish posh and more serious but still cha

Unlike Ladybug Cat noir actually fights normal crimes like Batman or some and not only akumas Calls ladybug ladygirl because “she may act like a lady, but really, she’s just a girl”

ladygirl has no idea, she doesn’t actually take care of anything other than akumas, she just chills until there’s one.

also hc from somewhere that adriens hair got darker as he aged so the people just bleached It

no Iris or pupil for mysteriousness

slick back hair

and wolverine claws

because he’s just extra like that

His ears are different and his nightvision is better because he has a different reason using the miraculous

as chat noir he can taste sweets but as midnight walker he can’t

He’s not on the news and stuff because everyone knows that he wants to keep low (aka why ladinette doesn’t know about him)

Ladybugs saving paris but Midnight walker is saving the people

he uses his baton to like hit people and stuff

and yes his eyes make him look a tad bit like chat blanc

you said we can drop headcanons in your ask box so… I think I’ll do that. For tua: Five held a funeral for his siblings (this is sad but I can see it)

Five, Ben, and Viktor were close as kids (the 567 trio, I think this simply because they were the first people Five called out for and Five reached out to Viktor when he got back so they were obviously close as kids)

Ben used to watch over his other siblings when Klaus was in the academy and during missions just to make sure they were ok (he didn’t want them to end up dying young like him)

Before Five left, Viktor would play his violin for Five and Ben after missions to help them de-stress. He’d only had it for a few months but he spent so much time practicing that he got pretty good pretty quickly. (Unfortunately, after Five left, Ben and Viktor grew apart)

For miraculous: Marinette began sketching designs when she was like 4 and it was ofc very messy but she was adamant even at that age that she was gonna be a fashion designer (Tom and Sabine ofc supported her but they were pleasantly surprised when she actually stuck with it until she was a teen)

Adrien and Emilie used to have picnics in the very same spot in the garden where Adrien and Marinette had their date in s5 (before she got sick ofc)

Gabriel wasn’t the only one who used the amok to control Adrien, though Emilie tried to limit the use of it (but sometimes he would cry so much or he wouldn’t want to go to sleep yet and she thought, well it can’t hurt too much right?) (this is similar to how Allison used her powers on Claire in tua)

Adrien likes to wear eyeliner (Why else would he have had such nice eyeliner as Chat Blanc???)

I can’t really think of any other ones right now but yeah. Thanks for letting me just dump these here :) I’d love to hear about your hcs too!!

omg,,, those tua ones are bittersweet <3 i haven't watched all of it yet but i might share some when i do finish. i like the 567 trio idea. they're the last three, they're a little more on the quiet side. and their powers are specifically very dangerous. violent music (7), Eldritch Horror (6), and timespace (5). (please excuse any incorrectness, i have literally only seen the first 10 eps)

and emilie using the amok like allison used her rumors is *chefs kiss*. to be completely honest, i would too. there are just some days that are exceptionally sucky and you just need some peace and quiet. i would feel absolutely horrible about it because manipulating another human like that (no matter how young) is wrong, but i think that it's a better option than phhsically hurting them. (hospitals really drive home things about colic, purple crying, and NOT SHAKING YOUR BABY. they are really really big about telling new parents that you cannot shake your baby. i thought there was no way i would ever want to shake my baby, but boy oh boy. i was wrong. it doesn't make me a bad parent, but there are some times where baby will not stop crying no matter what you do.) (sorry i have feelings about parenthood)

“chat...” it’s the same song & dance, & they’ve been dancing around it for months now. & she knows that he knows it’ll herald the same answer. just as every other time. like a broken record. stuck on the same chord, left to repeat the verse time & again. what he doesn’t know is that every time he broaches the subject, it proverbially pushes her another step forward. that her resolves cracks & splinters little by little each & every time. chipping away at her very being at the core.

she can feel the give in her shoulders. can feel the way her entire being sags ever slightly under his gaze. & she knows the fact that she’s crossed her arms & turned away from him was just her way of desperately trying to adhere yet another layer of armor to her person. & oh, she can feel the way her body’s broadcasting a silent plea: please stop pushing, chaton.

they weren’t supposed to know each others secrets identities, but she’s at the point where she doesn’t know if that’s the right decision anymore. sure, it had been master fu who forbad it. who enforced it. who stressed that if they knew, they’d have to give up being chat noir & ladybug. & yet that was before he’d passed guardianship unto her. but now? now....she doesn’t know what to do anymore because logically, she knows she’s the one who decides the rules.

-------- & then she recalls the future bunnix had thrust her into. remembers the despair & torment she’d unwittingly pushed onto her partner. the catalyst boiling down to the fact that he’d somehow discovered her identity & she ---- can’t --- won’t let that happen again.

& so she decides to solider on. to weather the storm just as she’s done every time before this, so she looks back to him. makes a point to meet his gaze & squares her shoulders beneath the weight of them. determined to step through the evitable threshold that will saddle her with yet another bout of guilt she’ll have to carry.

Yeah totally, sorry this took so long to get to btw! I hope this is to your liking 😅

Unlike Chat Noir, Chat Blanc is completely unpredictable. His yandere traits completely change if that makes any sense at all.

Chat Blanc can never stick to a certain trait, it’s always different every time he’s with you. As Adiren, he’s always so charming and sweet. But one thing that does stay the same, is his yearning of keeping you happy. He tries to be everything for you. He’ll do anything to please you, impress you, satisfy you, etc. he wants you in a constant good mood

Obviously he knows that a person can’t always be happy but he’ll sure as hell try to help you. Even if that means taking another persons life for your sake. Hell, he’s already done it before to make sure you weren’t taken away from him. So why not do it again, but this time simply for your entertainment? As you can see, Chat Blanc has an odd way of showing his love for you.

Despite his obvious attempts at flirting, he never holds back with physical affection. If you don’t want anything sexual, he’ll understand and respect your choices, but when it comes to things like cuddling and surprise hugs, he’s all for it and there’s nothing you can do to stop him. Even if he has to trap you under him on the couch simply because he wants to give you a goodnight kiss.

And while he does constantly switch between yandere traits, he could never harm you or raise a hand at you. That’s just not in his nature. Akumatized or not. Chat Blanc loves you no matter what you say or do to him, and he just can’t help it.

the world is vibrant, but stifling

You know what I've seen nobody think of before? With how similar Akumas and Amoks are we've only discussed long term effects of Amoks. But what happens if someone is akumatized too long? We've really only seen one and it was Chat Blanc, but that's because there was no butterfly holder to call off the Akuma. So what would happen if someone stayed as an akumatized version of themselves?

Would they age? Would they lose sense of one's self? Would they regain control from the butterfly eventually? Would they forever be at the will of their motive? If they have enough time could they eventually change back? COULD they change back? Genuine question I wanna hear opinions on this.

Fucking terrifying!

Within HC/LL, Akumatization's mental effect is basically turning everything up to 11. So they're still, on some level, themselves. Just very... extreme.

Gaining control is possible in that sense, though they're likely to always have a mental link to the Butterfly user.

In the line of dangers; it’s often an occurrence to protect those you cherish——&& adrien agreste holds to that wholeheartedly. Without so much as a second thought he would dive into the enemy’s line of attack. It’s NOT because he doesn’t value his own life, in fact, ‘living life to the fullest’ is a quota he stands by immensely. Throwing your life away is not an option, even when all hope is lost, Adrien would strive to give optimistic advice on the spot. Despite the drama in his life ( the typical characteristic of a villain ) he doesn’t falter to reflect on the bright side of things. it’s just who he is.

However, because of those said traits- he tends to think about others more than himself. He’s dealt with pain ( more than the average 14 year old would ) but...there’s no greater pain If a loved one dies earlier or dies protecting you. Living with that feeling alone is practically like having your flesh being gouged out. Which is why he doesn’t waver to act as a shield in the midst of battle. Not a careless act; but more of means to become the hero that calls out to him. Mask or no mask; protecting them means everything.

Type: Fluffy Headcanons!

You first caught his attention when you were just buying some new threads, needles and fabrics for an outfit you were making. He can't help but stare at you for a little while, obviously interested in you.

Yes, he has heard some cookies outside of the Dark Cacao Kingdom talking about some famous fashion designers like Sour Belt Cookie, Chocolate Bonbon Cookie and Mont Blanc Cookie, but he didn't expect to see a real, living and breathing one in the Dark Cacao Kingdom!

It made him curious...what is a well-known fashionista like you doing in a kingdom full of strong fighters and warriors? He does not know the answer. So he decided to pay you and your shop a little visit and have a small little conversation with you to know you better.

Once he got there, however, he was amazed. From the way your shop looked to how the outfits and accessories were designed beautifully. He couldn't believe that it's all handcrafted, by you. He was simply in awe of your talent in designing.

Of course, being as respectful as you can, you welcomed him into your shop, asking whether if anything peeks his interest. To your surprise, however, he said he'd rather have a seat and get to know you more. Your outfits, your talent in designing and so on, so on.

He absoutely love your outfits! Maybe he would often visit you and chat a bit more with you. On some occasions, you would also prepare some tea and cakes.

As time passes, he slowly got more attracted to you. He also visited you a lot more often. If you are busy with your work when he arrived, he would patiently sit and wait until you're done. It might take you a while to notice him there since you're so busy, you would ask how long has he waited and made it up to him by doing the usual, conversations with tea and pastries you prepared for his arrival.

He would never get bored of having the same conversations, seeing the shop as neat as he first visited it and most importantly, spending time with you. But he is also quite busy and has do his duties as well! But he still finds the right time to visit you.

He has not confessed yet, but from the looks of you, how you slowly acted a bit...different, he could instantly tell that you also like him back. But at the same time, he is very unsure if his estimations were true.

And you did in fact, grow more attached to him as well! The common problem is, you are also very unsure if he would also like you back if you confessed, so you decided to hide it for now, and wait for the time to come.

Neither you nor him had confessed, yet. But the conversations and all the small signs of affections from him...you are starting to get the clue. You two still acted like normal friends, no one finding anything out of the ordinary. But what they do not know is, you two were more than just friends, you just didn't tell each other.
