Send 💥 for a headcanon I’ve always wanted to talk about, but haven’t had the chance to yet.

Catalina is banned from cooking in her own home, and is forced to only eat food created by a private chef when she’s with her husband. This has to be my favorite headcanon of all time for her due to the nature of it. She is actually a very talented cook. Catalina somehow found the time to learn to cook food native to her Cuban roots while training at the manor. They never served food she enjoyed, so she managed to strike a deal in her high school years to get to use the kitchen at night. She would often make late-night treats and Latin dishes for those who worked at the manor. Catalina continued to cook while still in the manor and the first two years of marriage to Manuel. He happened to love her cooking and was a way that they showed affection for one another in the early part of the relationship. There was a period of time where she was genuinely in love with him, though she did meet him when she was eighteen, and she didn’t know how living with him would be. Whether Manuel loved her for a period of time is up for debate. Anyways, during the honeymoon period of their marriage, she would always make time to cook with him. It wasn’t until his possessive nature and abusive responses where things took a turn. Catalina, being trained in how to use poison in a stealth manor, decided to poison his food. She would always be sure to do it after they went out for a meal since it would be less likely to be traced back to her. There were times she would also poison his other associates when she was angered by her tone. Manuel caught onto her little scheme when one day he fed her some of his food and found her forceably throwing it up later to avoid getting sick herself. It was then a permanent rule that she wasn’t allowed to cook in the house. Manuel hired a private chef which they have been using ever since. Catalina still does cook, but it is in her personal home that she shares with Jessica. That living situation is a topic for another day.

But she also does non- singing just as well like the clock ( her first movie where she sings no songs and is an underrated ww2 era romance), her Oscar nominated a star is born ( like the man that got away she put her whole soul in that and I have beef with the fact she lost to grace kelly ((whom I love but like still not even her best work)), and judgement at Nuremberg (a courtroom drama about the nazi war criminal trials). Outside of film she made concert appearances to record-breaking audiences, released 8 studio albums, and had her own Emmy-nominated tv series. She was the youngest (39) and first female recipient of the Cecil B DeMille award for lifetime achievement in the film industry. Girl was a lifelong democrat and was a financial and moral supporter of many causes including the civil rights movement (she was at the March on Washington and held a press conference to protest the 16th street Baptist church bombings). She was a friend of the Kennedy family and would call jfk weekly often ending the calls by singing the first few lines of somewhere over the rainbow (she thought of them as Gemini twins).She was a member of the committee for the first amendment which was formed in response to the HUAC investigations. Though she died far too young and tragically she remains an icon for her work and her life. As a girl who didn't feel like i was as pretty as everyone else I have always felt a connection to Judy and I just really love her.

it starts with a kiss 。

19 Days (Chapter 409-410 Spoilers)

As a returnee to the comic & fandom, and already late into the chapters, I'm aware that someone else has likely posted similar content on the internet. If so, feel free link me as you like, but I'll be putting down my own observations and two cents here, thanks.

Good grief, where do I start with this? Maybe their longing gazes, how Mo is looking at He Tian as the latter is staring down at his lips? (And even in the subsequent panels, note how He Tian keeps returning his gaze to Mo's mouth.)

Judging by the position of their hands, it looks like He Tian is the one who initiates the contact, but I could be wrong. Either way, it's clear that Mo's nervous (he's been sweating non-stop, and his free hand's shaking), but even his nervousness and uncertainty doesn't stop him from closing the distance. He Tian's gaze has shifted from his mouth to his eyes (much more intimate and intense), and Mo ends up losing his nerves and aborting the mouth-to-mouth kiss.

Mo chooses to close his eyes to escape (the pressure, the intensity, the intimacy), but from his furrowed brow, even this isn't easy. He Tian, on the other hand, closes the distance with his embrace, accepting whatever modicum of affection Mo's willing to give him. He's following Mo's lead. Mo's pace.

Mo quickly breaks away in the panel following the kiss; the way he pulls back and keeps an arm between them shows a desire for distance; he's embarrassed and trying to change the subject (good grief, can you get more tsundere than "my mom prolly doesn't hate you" --he can't even bring himself to express his own feelings towards He Tian directly; has to bring his mom in the conversation, pfft.)

He Tian, on the other hand, won't be so easily distracted or dissuaded. He's got his arms around Mo and won't let him pull back too much; his eyes have returned to Mo's mouth, even as he prompts him to continue. (He's trying to get Mo to confess, aha.)

Even in this next panel, as Mo turns aside, He Tian is maintaining contact with him, only letting go when Mo presents him with the piercing kit, but the kit itself isn't important; his eyes remain on Mo's face, he's seeing everything Mo isn't saying.

The detail of the piercing kit, I like, because Mo's piercings symbolize ownership. Mo isn't a pet or a dog, but he's been compared one several times (both by She Li and He Tian). She Li and He Tian have both used Mo's piercings as a mark of ownership (She Li having pierced Mo's ear, and He Tian buying him earrings). Unlike with She Li, Mo is willing to accept He Tian.

Though He Tian was being possessive af in chapters 282-284 when the backstory about the piercings was revealed, Mo was the one who decided that he wanted to wear the earrings that He Tian gave him.

In chapters 372-373, Mo even took it a step further and requested a new piercing from He Tian, but after the initial shocked reaction, He Tian beckons him over and says this:

Mo's confessing to him. Not directly, and not with straightforward words, 'cause let's face it, that brand of vulnerability doesn't come easy to Mo. He's nervous, and stuttering, and avoiding eye contact, but He Tian's not about to let it go. Mo needs to look, to actually see and understand for himself how He Tian feels as well.

The way He Tian puts himself under Mo is pretty interesting (reminds me of when he did this in chapter 296, when he declared in front of Mo's underlings that He Tian would be his lackey). Is it a way to reassure Mo while simultaneously soothing his ego? Or is it a way for He Tian to communicate that the ball's in Mo's court; that he's the one who'll set the pacing in their relationship?

He' Tian's pretty clever, using just the right words to reassure Mo. He's turning Mo's gaze to him, and while Mo is looking at his face here, He Tian is instead looking right at his lips, communicating exactly what he wants. He's stroking Mo's bottom lip with his thumb, while slowly closing the distance Mo previously created.

That look in Mo's eyes, it's a reflection of mutual desire, and maybe it's because Mo can see it now, that what He Tian wants is what they both want, that Mo tells him when prompted (with a gesture, rather than words). Even now, he's looking carefully at He Tian for his reaction, not because he thinks the latter will reject him, but because he wants to make sure he sees it clearly.

As for He Tian, he's the one who's slowly been closing the gap all this time (their faces getting closer and closer), but Mo's the one who has the final say. He Tian complies to his unspoken wish.

It's the perfect kiss.

Sims and Supercorp

...so I rediscovered Sims for me and created some Lena & Kara stand-ins (because I could not really make them look like them, gave them different names too).

Here's a list of things that they did and do, most of which I do not even force/control, simply based on the base traits I gave them from the start, again based on Kara and Lena individually.

Kara is a foodie but the very first time she cooked she caused a fire and now hates cooking.

naturally, this makes Lena the cook in their by now little household

Kara is super buff and a professional author 💪🖋️

Lena used to be more curvy and barely tolerated sports but ever since Kara keeps cheering her on when she's on the treadmill she's lost the trait and attitude a bit

Lena was a bit stand-off'ish at first when Kara tried to hit on her, but she was very much happy to flirt with Kara herself (it took just a handful of friendly to flirty interactions from Lena's side for her to start swooning for Kara and the "wanna be my woohoo buddy" option to show up)🤨 👀🥰

Lena is a tech-genius but as her position raised to a more CEO-like level she keeps coming home more and more often tense af

I takes EITHER a long relieving shower AND a boxing session to somewhat fix Lena's job based tenseness OR a simple hug by Kara (not even kidding!) 🤗❤️

Lena has whole two (2) social connections (Kara and some co-worker)

Kara's social list just keeps on growing...

Kara keeps inviting in strangers when I am not looking 🦋

she's even friends with the staff... 🍕🧹🙂

...Lena does give them generous tips, tho 💸

really, Lena only joins in on conversations with 3rd parties when Kara started them

...I had to limit Kara a bit from keeping to include strangers to their conversations while they were on dates! Geez! Focus on your woman, little social butterfly!

Most the time I just let them go and roam on their own, I find Kara and Lena holding hands and giving each other heart-eyes 😍😍

...to the point I have to separate them to take care of their needs so they/Lena can make it on time to work ✋🥲

While Kara is not a sloth, Lena is very tidy (and does not even get mad when she cleans after Kara)

Lena keeps wanting to talk about her fear of Death 💀

Kara keeps wanting to talk about her favorite foods 🤤

Kara is a total goofball.. and while Lena has very little humor for strangers, Kara keeps making her laugh/happy 😐😀

At first and still most of Kara's flirty interaction options are sweet gestures (hand holding, giving roses, reciting poetry), while Lena from very early on leaned towards more forward ones (sexy posing, seductive whispers, complimenting her appearance, invites to woohoo...) 💘😏

At this point, really whether I am controlling or they do it themselves, they get into flirty/lovey-dovey mood pretty much as soon as they talk.

I may cheer every time Lena gets a little late to work because she lingered (on her own) to wait for Kara to finish up whatever she's doing, just to give her a kiss or hug before rushing out... 🥹

Kara does get distracted a bit easier than Lena from what she's doing (unless she's writing ...or flirting with Lena)

Lena keeps seeking out the chess-board when unattended whereas when Kara is in the mood for logic-learning she defaults to the telescope

I am not sure if it's a bug, but Kara has this tendency to fall asleep after woohoo even when her stamina is still firmly in the green 🥰😴

I am not sure what is incidental due to my initial and very biased way of creating their characters, early actions and interactions I had them make, and which just is 'natural' development and progression...

...but it's a whole lot fun!

...is like watching a no-plot-fluff fic play out XD

(For anyone wondering, my stand-ins are called Kieran Walsh and Elle Yean - yeah, I thought myself clever with the second one XD )

I keep seeing posts about how no one coming to help Dream was a plot hole and I don't get it.

It's stated multiple times that he could have asked his siblings to come get him. We know The Endless and similarly powerful beings don't need a phone line they just need to think with some intent as we see most blatantly in Calliope when she calls to the Fates.

In his own narration of the situation Dream talks about different ways he could have gotten out if he had just let go of his pride.

Dream not asking for or being willing to accept help is one of his biggest points of growth throughout the season.

Is the fact that he, out of pride or protectiveness, just didn't ask for help a particularly satisfying reason? No, but it is there and the dissatisfaction it causes is at least partially intentional because it creates a character trait/flaw in Dream that can be used as a point of development.

And aside from showing off a trait of Dream's the fact that he didn't ask and therefore didn't receive help teaches us something about how the Endless function as a social unit and how they maintain balance in their respective realms by not blatantly interfering with each other's circumstances unless they get asked.

It should be a little unfathomable that none of them step up and help him, because they are quite unfathomable beings even if they happen to present in a human form.

So yeah, the reasons Dream was trapped so long sound weak af if you're thinking about the average person might do in Dream/his siblings even Jessamy's places but they are very sound and clever choices for the narrative.

Gale Reviews: ML Season 5 episode 12 Perfection

(As mentioned, this is airing before episodes 10 and 11. So obviously, spoilers below)

-Chat noir absolutely bragging about being in love while helping Ladybug pull a fishing rod. Good for him.

-Also not gonna say I called their dynamic when Adrien and Marinette are in love with eachother, but I TOTALLY called it.

-They fished a boat out together. So someone who handles calculations get on that feat analysis.

-Ladybug’s turn to brag as they fight mr.pigeon

-oh… not everything is perfect. Ladybug still hung up a bit. But more of in a communication way.

I feel like it was good. Nothing too earth shaking. But I did enjoy the cuteness. The adrinette is great and I don’t care what people say, the platonic ladynoir is great. The Post relationship pre reveal is good.

Adrien singing was cute. I do want to know exactly what is holding Marinette back.

I do feel I’m missing what happened during kwami choice.

But I enjoyed it.

Omg I am so glad you asked! I've actually thought this through many times before. I will sort characters and give my reasonings.

Hogwarts housing is generally based in your morals rather than character traits. It's the "why" that sorts you. Why are you interested in what you are interested in? What are your goals? Think Hermione, she seems like a stereotypical Ravenclaw, but she isn't one because she uses her smarts for bravery. Yes, she enjoys learning just to learn, but she was called the "brightest witch of her age" because she knew all of these spells and magical facts that saved her friends and helped Harry defeat Voldemort. She ended up being the Minister of Magic because she wanted to make the world better and be a leader!

So, anyway lol.

Katniss Everdeen- a Gryffindor for sure! She wanted to make the world a better place, she'd die for it. She made so many sacrifices and fiercely defended everyone in her life, even people she didn't know. She was courageous and she was a leader (although she didn't exactly want to be one).

Peeta Mellark- I'd say he's a Hufflepuff, he was fair and just. He was good with his words, he wanted to make things right, and he was always true to himself. He was also so very loyal, especially to Katniss.

Finnick Odair- Definitely a Slytherin lolz. He was a sneaky guy! He was great at manipulation and deceit, he knew how to get what he wanted. Like how he got secrets from Capitol people so he had dirt against President Snow. He was able to persuade Katniss and Peeta into following the rebel plan, his ability to charm people was likely why he was the one who was asked to bond with Katniss and Peeta and form an alliance with them early on.

Primrose Everdeen- I almost want to say Gryffindor for her because she was always so brave, but we have to look at the reasons. What were her goals? Well, it seemed that what she really wanted to do was help people, she was brave for the purpose of wanting to heal the injured. And while you could call that Gryffindor... this is where things get complicated for me... I feel like if she were more a Gryffindor, her bravery would be more like fighting for a cause or wanting to lead a cause. But rather she wanted to save people and give them a chance. She was patient, she was loyal to her medical studies and her family, she was hard working, she wanted to give everyone a fighting chance, even the Capitol people. I guess she could be a mix between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, but if I was a sorting hat I would probably just put her in Hufflepuff, I think she'd like it there lol.

Johanna Mason- I've been really thinking about this one and I think she'd be a Ravenclaw. She is brave, but she doesn't care for being a hero or saving anyone, she just wanted to be left alone, I don't feel like she is a Hufflepuff, and I don't think she is a Slytherin either. We never saw her being cunning or persuasive like Finnick was, if anything she kind of gave up hints that there was a plan quite a few times. (although when she won the games she did pretend she was harmless as a way to manipulate, but I still don't think that makes her a Slytherin, she was just smart af). I think she is Ravenclaw because is clever and witty, she also seemed like she would be rather creative. I'm not sure why, but she just gives those vibes. I feel like outside of the games, when she was happy and alone, she'd be someone who liked to create art and learn about different topics. I could see her getting into heated debates about things like politics and art.

Annie Cresta- We don't know much about her in the books, but based on my personal headcanons for her I think she'd be a Ravenclaw. She would be a very creative person who loves learning. I could imagine her getting very obsessed with topics and wanting to learn everything there is to know about them, particularly marine biology.

Haymitch Abernathy- A Slytherin!!! Even with how he won his Hunger Games, he was cunning and outsmarted the last opponent. Later on in his life, it seemed the only things that motivated him and really brought him back to life were rebel plans. Once he gets some sort of goal, he will do everything he can and pull whatever strings to get what he wants. He was never in the front lines of the missions like Katniss, but he did all of the planning and strategizing. He was the one who made most of the plans in the Catching Fire arena, he kept things from both Katniss and Peeta and played both of them, he used trickery to get what he wanted and he was very good at it.

Effie- She'd be a Hufflepuff I think, she was hardworking in her job and took it very seriously. At first she was loyal to the Capitol, but as someone who valued fairness and doing what was right, she later ended up being loyal to the Rebels once she realized the Capitol was awful (this was shown more in the movies, I think it is the only thing the movies added that I actually liked lol). She was also so very patient and loving towards Katniss, even when Katniss was super mean to Effie, she would forgive her. In the end, she was loyal to Haymitch, Peeta, and Katniss.

After meeting Khushi for few minutes, you can sense he's less lifeless. Khushi tries to repair what she has caused, thinking he doesn't want Lavanya back in his life bacause she persuaded her to get married and not to stay in a live-in relationship.

"Whatever was between us, it's now finished. Now there is nothing between us. It's over."

Arnav is determined to leave his past with Lavanaya. Even if he didn't initiate the break up, he thought of it many times before. He didn't do it earlier cause he didn't want to hurt Lavanaya's feelings while not being sure Khushi will feel the same as he does. He was delaying the inevitable. He knows.

"Now you're gonna teach me what's love? It's over damn it! It's over!" "It's over Khushi. I want to be free. I want to be able to chase you without feeling guilty now."

"As Lavanya is leaving, this proves every of my words is true. Two people can never live forever together life long. With time people change, and they move ahead. If Lavanya wants to go, let her go. I don't give a damn" He's litteraly trying to convince himself that if Khushi doesn't want him, he can still move on from her lol (Asr is convincing Arnav lol) "If you want to leave me, if you're not gonna love me, I don't care!"

"I'm better than you. At least, I don't lie to myself." He's challenging her here ! "I dare you to explore the attraction you feel for me! Stop denying it! I know you know there is something between us"

I told you guys, they both know that the two of them are aware of the attraction they share. They are adult, they can sense it lol and when it's so strong how can you deny it for so long?! No doubt, they're indeed aware of how strong their mutual attraction is now 👀

"-At least I don't pretend to tell truth and to be good. (notice his smile, cause he openly insinuating their attraction) -you're totally off topic (she understands his insinuation right away, i told yall he knows his girl is clever af heh ! 😏) "You pushing me to Lavanaya, you wishing us to be married while knowing there is this pull between us, it's you prentending, lying ! It's you denying whatever there is between us !!"

I like to think that Khushi will remember his sentense when Lavanya comes back and he hugs him, as if it was the waking up call she needed to finally aknowledge her love for him.

"If you didn't had pain in telling the truth, then why does it bother you to hear it?" "You think you can call me out on the fact that I don't love Lavanaya as I pretended to, ok then why can't I call you out for pretending there is nothing between us !? The audacity ! You're as bad as me !"

They might misunderstand each other a lot but sometimes, they have this capacity to see through each other deeply. I think Arnav could sense for quite some time that Khushi wasn't that "good girl" she wants to be seen as or think she is. That's why she always fascinated and amuzed Arnav while Asr was violently attracted to her (while hated her).

Of course, she's not a bad person, but she has a bad side as complex as him.

that's completely true!! to me, Alicent is a girlfailure only when it comes to Rhaenyra, because that's when the feelings get in and mess up what her galaxy brain can do! that's why she always craves Rhaenyra and goes back to her in canon, even after she lies and asks for her son to be tortured - my girl has 1 working brain cell with Rhaenyra yet is extremely smart in any other case😭

so i'm really excited to have her plot her well-deserved revenge with the help of her new bestie! she's still under Rhaenyra’s influence because feelings! and mating bond! but she's also angry and an angry Alicent knows what to do to make you even angrier😁 can't wait to get started on the next chapter!!

From my perspective I think I am just about done with Taylor after the interview. I have already stopped streaming her music and buying her albums. She came off as a spoiled, spiteful, vengeful person to me, and her bitterness hasn’t subsided. I suspect that is the cause of the failure of her relationship with Joe. I believe he saw a real side of her. She has to be in control of everything. Friends close to Joe called her “a piece of work.” Kim said the issue was never the b* word for them. It was Taylor lying that Kanye never called her. That is why Kim released the tape. Both parties in that phone call come off as phony. But in the end Taylor will continue to do what she has always done. She will take love songs written for others and change the narrative, probably out of spite, until the next guy receives the same treatment. I used to defend her, but no longer. The narrative never changes and I am frankly bored of it. I will listen to more creative artists.

lol I can’t disagree with this more strongly but maybe that’s because I’m also a messy, weird person whose “narrative” - it’s not a narrative it’s just life - changes depending on my mood and where we’re all at? Taylor is a messy person with messy thoughts and that’s why she makes great and deeply relatable art. Of course she changed who some songs are about in her head because like it’s about her actual real thoughts and not about some random dude??? I don’t get this take??? What do you want from her?? She’s not CNN lol she doesn’t have to report the objective truth. She can just say what happened to her in her opinion and like then look back on it and be like “wow this happened again and I can still apply it to my life” and that’s fine????

rep dropped shortly after my ex and I got together right and the whole “my reputation’s never been worse so you must like me for me” stuff really resonated with me because I was dealing with the fallout from homeless guy and my whole situation with bookstore girl and like all sorts of crap. I was not a catch but she liked me. Dress also sounded gay af which made sense to me at the time because I was in a gay relationship. When I listen to those exact same songs now I hear a new thing - I hear “is it cool that I said all that?” because I said some really intense stuff to my bf when we were just friends and just hooking up and he took it 100% on board like he dgaf and when I hear Dress I also know I’ve bought stuff specifically because I knew he’d like them idk. The same exact album applies to 2 of my relationships in different ways.

Enchanted has applied to like 50 million people like do you know how many times I’ve been enchanted to meet someone???? I can’t count all of them. That doesn’t mean I lied that I was enchanted when I met the first person I was enchanted with or lied when I met the cute redhead waitress the other day and felt mad enchanted like I was indeed enchanted. I was. If I’d written the song I’d apply it to all my situations where I felt enchanted because they’re my thoughts???? I can be enchanted many times????

I have a (published) short story that’s inspired by my ex but I read it recently and it suddenly applied to my current situation (the whole premise is “you’re not my first anything but I wanna be here and it makes it special” lol). I still like the story. I don’t much like my ex - she’s ok like she’s clever and she’s pretty and she’s a nice enough person but ffs the bad outweighed the good at the end - but I like my story about her and when I read it now I don’t think of her, I think of my current partner.

There’s no “narrative” - there’s just a lady living her life dude. Same as you and same as me.

What made you choose raptors? Also I love horse raptor girl Raph and would kill for him he’s good boy and deserves to keep his buddies

I am choosing to believe they didn’t like Casey bc Acab they can smell the cop on him XD

Were the raptors genetically modified in any way? Cus they seem incredibly intelligent, although that could just be the training and their natural state bc bird Smort af

Okay I think that’s all I got (for now) but also if there’s anything I didn’t ask that you wanna ramble about PLEASE DO I am in love with the Dino’s and their turtle friends :3

I choose raptors because they were my favourite in Jurassic Park from the very beginning. Also I've had a Utahraptor OC for nearly a decade, and Raptor Red is one of my favourite books. So when the idea came of a dinosaur fic, there was truly no question in my mind that it was going to be raptors instead of anything else.

Also anything bigger than Utahraptor would have been an absolute nightmare, logistically speaking. It would take a lot more work to feed, be harder to house, might not have fit on the plane in the first place, and that's even without accounting for there being four of them. Having some big dino like Rexy would be all fun and games until she realises she can fit a whole ninja turtle in her mouth!

Raptor girl Raph is an absolute delight and I support him and Sierra in all their nonsense. (Donnie doesn't, because he's the only one with any real sense, but tbh that's his problem and I have nothing to do with it.) They're going to have a great time terrorising the local bad guys, and probably also the local wildlife.

Casey being a cop is such a stupid decision in Bayverse, it's like the only thing that really gets me 😒 The girls can smell the ACAB now lmao, new canon developing right here. Also Casey is a stranger, and they've always been territorial. Plus Raph is kinda passive-aggressive at Casey and Sierra picks up on that as regular aggression (and by extension, so do the rest of the girls).

The raptors were not modified! They are very smart though, cause bird is Smort af. Parrots can do shit you would not expect from an adult and I love them for it but also sometimes stop that you over-intelligent little shits! Also they have been trained pretty much their entire lives, so they have a baseline for human interaction that can also be applied to turtles.

Also part of their intelligence is based on observations of crocodiles in captivity! Cause they're smarter than you would expect, I got a bunch of books to try to research their behaviour, and I have a whole new appreciation for them.

Okay so obviously there's a lot of things to love in the fic itself, but I also really loved writing the care guide. At first it was just going to be a reference doc for myself, but then I decided to write it as a kind of 'in-universe' thing, from Donnie's POV.

About 90% of the raptor lore is based on what's been observed (and published) about birds of prey and crocodilians. Besides the physical stuff, which is based on fossil records (and some assumptions based on fossil records). Side note, why is it so hard to access some of the academic papers? Let me read!

And a few of my favourite lines from the lore doc:

Sierra shows the same body language when biting the top of Raph’s shell as she does when playing with her sisters. She seems to consider this a form of play as well, and for reasons beyond my comprehension, Raph agrees with her.

The vast majority of aggressive behaviour happens in fights over food, or in an attempt to frighten away things that frighten them. Such things include a loose dog, a butterfly, a plastic bag, and a smoking car engine (the latter also frightened Leo and Mikey).

I have never seen nest squabbles turn violent, unlike our most recent fight for the tv remote.

As shown by Raph and Sierra, to my and Leo’s displeasure, a raptor can pick a meatball from an open palm without injuring the palm.

Raph insists Sierra would attempt to predate a moose if she saw one, as she is, to quote him, ‘braver than Vin Diesel’. I hope he is wrong about her behaviour but assume he is not.

When Raph suggested providing them with a live lobster for enrichment, it locked its claws onto Tango’s lower leg and now all four regard lobsters with suspicion and occasional alarm calls.

Quebec in particular loves liver and will knock Leo over if he’s holding a sheep liver, a habit I have fortunately been able to record for further evaluation.

I'm gonna cry.

First of all, our little group of four all trying to find Stiles is honestly so heart-warming.

"I'll understand if anyone wants to back out." "I'm not gonna be the first wolf to run from a fox." "Apparently I'm carrying a lightsaber." (XD) "Dad, you and Derek hit Eichen House. Sheriff, it's you and me at the hospital."

They all love and care about Stiles so much, and they're all so determined to figure this out and do anything they can to help him (Chris with his lethal option makes me a little nervous, but it's FINE), and I love that. <3

And then that scene in the hospital elevator between Allison and Noah was so freaking sweet. Allison seriously just always puts up this mask and tries to keep going because she doesn't want to seem weak or scared or unable to protect herself, but this is a LOT, and it's especially a lot for a freaking TEENAGER to go through, and I love that Noah just pulled her in and comforted her and told her that he would talk to Coach about her failing grade in Econ. We love a good parental moment--ESPECIALLY when it's not their parent, but the parent of someone they care a lot about--and that was so sweet.

And then of course, we get that creepy af video of Stiles in his room (you're telling me Stiles doesn't have a key to his house and he had to break in? K then. XD) just staring at the camera and waving those creepy little fingers in that way that Dylan does when he's the Nogitsune and I'm freaking terrified and don't like where this is going at all. But we're gonna save him, RIGHT?!

Also, again, I feel really bad for Noshiko. Her boyfriend Rhys was actually amazing and was actually trying to do everything he could to help them, and given the course of the story and episode, I knew he was gonna die, so the second he dove into the crowd, I was waiting for something like that, and it totally sucks. I HATE when things like that happen, when the one person that actually cared gets caught in the crossfire of people who deserve that death a lot more. Totally sucks.

Also also, while I'm here, I do want to point out that, yes, Stiles is the clever and witty planner who usually makes the connections first, but I don't want to sneeze at Scott's smarts either. He can definitely step up when he has to, and watching him put together all of the puzzle pieces of this Nogitsune and its past as he learns bits and pieces of information is kind of awesome and I'm glad that he's here, because I really think if anyone can (and will) save Stiles, it's Scott.

Anyways. This is heartwarming and heartbreaking in so many different ways, and I get the feeling this is gonna be a set-up episode that's gonna end on a rough cliffhanger and inevitably cause my heart to break in half when I watch the next episode, so here we go I guess...
