Tom : So girls are you having any issues with any of the topics in History, English or Science?

After finishing your drinks you all headed out and said your goodbyes. You and your best friend sat in your car and returned to your shared apartment.

You let your hairs down in waves and wore some plain black heels and a simple makeup ;neither too much nor too less. You were taking your car for going there but your bestie had to go to her mother after the feast, so she'd be taking a cab.

*At the feast *

Tom and Jungkook's jaw dropped after seeing you both and your by seeing Tom. Same was with your best friend except the fact that she was enchanted by Jungkook and you by Tom.

You were standing in the middle of the hall with a drink in your hand. A guy named David was constantly trying to make conversation with you. But oh lord, you could already sense the negative vibes from him. It was when Tom came to the rescue. God bless him!

Tom : Would you mind if I steal miss y/l/n for a minute, Mr. Richard?

David Richard : Of course not, professor. Take your time!

You followed Tom untill that David guy was no longer in veiw.

Tom : You look ravishing today, my dear!

You blush at the compliment

Y/N : You don't look any less either, Professor.

Tom extends his hand for you to take it. From the corner of your eyes you could see that your friend already found someone. You were really happy for her.

Marvel (MCU and Comics): I’m open to OCxCC, CCxCC, ABO, and Poly in this one I love world-building and meshing MCU canon with comic Canon and our own idea’s as well. If we’re doing CCXCC I do have a preference of M/M pairings but I am open to some M/F and F/F and other paring combinations.

Harry Potter (Marauders Era after graduation only): I’m open OCxCC and CCXCC I adore world-building for this one and bending Canon to fit our liking. I do also prefer to have multiple characters and moving parts in these plots in the background.

Criminal Minds: I’m open OCxCC, CCXCC. ABO and Poly ship here as well. I like to have a nice blend of slice of life and other things with a little bit of casework. Basically the reverse to what the show gave us.

Supernatural: I’m just looking for OCxCC here uhmm it’s been a hot minute since I’ve roleplayed this fandom. I think I’ve seen up to season ten for sure? I am planning on finishing it soon. I think my OC would pair up nicely with Dean or Cas but I’m open to your suggestions as well.

I love Twin Peaks and its whole wacky cast of characters and inscrutable world logic. I am most familiar with the original seasons, but I will have finished season 3 by the time this fic exchange comes due, so write whatever you like!

Cooper/Harry or Cooper & Harry: I need a happy ending for them, either romantically or as best friends who care about each other The Most. Prompt idea: A canon-divergent AU where Cooper doesn't end up in the Black Lodge for 25 years, and he has to work through his divided loyalties between his life in the FBI and his heart in Twin Peaks...

For Maddy/Donna, James is definitely a part of their story so it’s fine if he and his canon romances with them are in the story, but I’d really like Maddy and Donna to realize that all this love drama is not actually about him at all. (And Maddy lives!)

For Cooper/Audrey, I’m fascinated by their connection (romantic or otherwise), and the tension that comes with it because Dale Cooper sees himself as an Upstanding Morally Responsible FBI Agent™️ and she’s a high school girl involved with a case. I imagine he’d have to wrestle with that even if they got together after season 2. Prompt idea: Cooper needs Audrey's help with an undercover assignment (or.... she decides on her own that he does, and Audrey Horne does what she wants).

🛰 Babylon 5:

A few thoughts that aren’t really prompts but might inspire you:

I just really, really, really want Talia to be saved. It’s very important to me.

It seems like Lyta would be the most qualified, and Garibaldi and Ivanova would be the most motivated, so really any combination of people can be involved. If any of them want to kiss in the process that’s also fine.

A fic that takes place after she’s saved off-screen will also work!! Anything from “everything is fine now and it’s fluffy” to “wow everything hurts and all these people are still very fucked up in many interesting ways.”

Talia and Lyta have the same backstory of having briefly trained with the Psi Cops before moving on to being commercial telepaths – could they have known each other when they were young?

Sinclair/Sakai are good and pure, they should have had the chance to be happy!!

I have read “To Dream in the City of Sorrows,” so if you have also read that and want to include that canon in a story including Sinclair, feel free.

Sinclair & Delenn’s connection is so awesome and worth exploring, but I don’t have a specific prompt in mind.

Prompt ideas:

I love the extended O’Brien family so much, and I want to see more of any part of their journey. Did Kira and Keiko spend any time together before the pregnancy arc, or are they really just getting to know each other then? What about after the baby is born? (I’m fine with an AU where she doesn’t move out at all, but if you want to go on a canon journey including Kira’s other relationships that’s fine too).

Kira’s faith and culture are so important to her – how is that a part of the relationship, and how does she share that with the kids?

For Bashir/Ezri I love the idea of an AU where the war/show lasts longer so they can take more time having crushes and getting to know each other before getting together. And then maybe they get into danger together to help things along.

(It’s also fine if you want to explore a canon version where they’re probably a little messed up by the end of the war, but somehow they work through it and stay together.)

Jadzia & Benjamin: One last ride into shenanigans, for Curzon’s sake…

*S2 Spoilers*

Comforting to find that other people didnt think this season delivered because i finished it yesterday and was in tears at how bad it was?? I read the books after s1 came out and whilst i had my own gripes with those, overall i enjoyed, soc & ck especially. To my memory, s1 and book 1 were basically the same, with a few changes and i thought they did a good job of adapting it. But s2 was a mess. Dont get me wrong, on a baseline it was great- visually stunning, every single actor ate, Freddy Carter outshone imo it was his moment. Watching it as a fantasy tv show i had a great time, as a book fan i did not. The first half i enjoyed more, although at the back of my mind was “thats not how it happens” “thats not right” but these thoughts were hard to ignore esp in the last 2 eps. A lot of decisions were made that i think they’re going to have difficulty explaining later on- genya and david (absolutely devastated about him), Inej’s freedom before soc, and a lot of v poignant scenes in the books wont make sense anymore e.g. the dock fight in soc when kaz carries inej and other scenes have lost their significance.

One of my fave scenes in R&R is when the DL shows Alina the burning orphanage with Ana Kuya and Botkin really put everything into perspective about how bad his character is and the lengths that he’ll go to, delivering one of the best lines. But nothing in the show. That being said i am still a basic bitch who simply wants the content in her eyes so Wesper yes Kanej yes G&D amazing Tolya and Tamar can do no wrong so i was still freaking out but it felt sour afterwards. Nikolai/Sturmhond i liked, i was initially unsure about Paddy but he pulls it off well. Shame they couldnt have made him look different for the two characters but oh well.

The final battle in the fold was not at all like in R&R, my fave out of the 3, and reading it i was sobbing but with this i didnt really feel anything except annoyed. There’s so many things i can point out that have annoyed me but this would be a 1000 words long.

Ultimately i understand why they have done this- no ones safety is guaranteed at netflix and i have been burned by their cancellations before. But in the same way that some dont want a SOC 3 book so all characters are technically safe- i think i wouldve rather had a 2 season show done right rather than whatever they’re going to pull to fix it, pending renewal. Speaking of which- idk what Calahan has done to wrong the writers but he mustve had 10 mins of screentime this whole season they did him so dirty. Ok im sorry you had to read all that but i was going to combust. Let me know ur thoughts tho

4. Favourite character from original trilogy?

I have a few favourites!

Luke. At first, I was just like 'Ok, nice guy', when I was myself a little girl and didn't quite fully understand the whole story. But I grew to love him a little more each time I watched the films and started to understand him better, as I was myself growing up.

Leia. She's head-strong, reliable, courageous and speaks her mind. She was right in the alley of characters like Xena, Sam Carter, Sidney Fox, Scully… and that I loved so much.

Lando. I was genuinely shocked when he betrays Leia, Han and Chewie the very first time I saw the film as a child!! I was very confused and sad… but I also felt all the more relieved when he finally gets back on their side before the end! 🤣

…and Larry Obi-Wan, of course!

6. Do you have any ships?

I'd love to fly a light freighter or a gunship like Din's. I'm not quite sure I'd feel comfortable flying a starfighter like a X-Wing or TIE. Powerful and efficient but a little too claustrophobic to my taste, sadly… I like to be able to walk in my ship, change decks and store shit in it you see?

Ah… You meant another kind of ship, right? Ok, I like Leia x Han, even though Han is kind of a creep sometimes. 🤣

8. Weapon of choice?

A blaster. No need for a heavy one, something light and not too clunky would do. (Not an Echani weapon either 😛) But I'd love to try a Deece with whatever attachment too. 👀

19. What type of outfit would you wear?

Whatever outfit I would choose, I truly hope I'll end up with a super cool jacket with A LOT of pockets!!! I'd love strong boots too, something that feels undestructible.

But I must admit… Jedi outfits look incredibly comfy. They all look like they are in their pajamas… and I kinda envy them that. 😩

9. What food from Star Wars would you want to try?

Actually, I did try one! The Uj cake👌 I even have perfected my very own recipe for it now. Kandosii!

24. Would you want to be human, or from another species?

I can't shapeshift?!?! 😲 What is this tyranny?! Well, in that case, I'm fine with staying human-looking then. I kinda like the Bothans, though…

27. Top 3 planets to visit?

No marble, no scramble—I'd say: Naboo, Arvala-7, and Bespin. ✨ (but also maybe Concord Dawn 🤫)

30. Do you have any headcanons?

Sorta?!

Wato's business crashed after he lost Ani, and then Shmi. He never had any other slaves before or after them.

Taun We likes the clones in her weird Kaminoan detached way, and maybe Boba even more so, but the little shit despises her (and rightly so, all other Kaminoans) even though he's treated well, just because he sees Jango act like an asshole and talk shit about them… and he's mimicking his parental figure, like kids usually do. Even cloned ones.

Maybe it has been said somewhere in the EU, but I suspect Palpatine to be able to use a battle meditation. Also, he made Dooku unable to speak after Anakin 'disarmed' him, and he influenced Anakin's mind through the Force to kill him against his better judgment. *queue tortured violin music*

Also, I would have rewrote the final fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan. It would have been a better dogfight and his injuries would have been from a crash... (but yeah yeaaaah, it needed lightsabers fights and duels, I know…)

40. If you could make your own Star Wars trilogy/series, what would it be about?

It would be about Canderous' stories 👀 The whole basilisk thing and raids, seeing Ordo and the clans challenging each others, Mand'alore the Ultimate, up to their defeat against Revan… 😩💖

28. do you think the show would have been better or worse if they kept their plans for eleven to die at the end of season 1?

at the end of season one? i think it would be worse. i think ultimately the story of the show is about el and will. not to put on my tin foil hat or my pepe silvia board but i think those two are easily the central characters. and that is without population, it's just the way the first season was shaped. i think fully killing her off in season 1 would have been premature and i couldn't envision the rest of the show without el currently, especially in contrast to season 4. obviously everything would have been written differently but eh. if you take just season 1 by itself it's still very apparent how key el is.

but if you want to know how i feel about the end of s5... well.

32. opinion on kali and her gang?

i have made an edit about how i think the lost sister is an underrated episode. put in the entirely wrong spot as far as episode number goes. it should have been earlier in the season but whatever. (also it wasn't even episode 8 are you kidding me?) so i don't necessarily think the episode or kali & her gang being shoehorned in that season to be stupid and filler or w/e. i actually think it was incredibly important to the development of el's character, especially at an uncertain time in her life because while she was free of the lab and papa, she wasn't free. she was still heavily isolated and she couldn't even see the people she loved, and cared about. she couldn't see her friends. and of course, she wanted family. she wanted comfort. and i think she needed to look elsewhere to realize that she had that love and comfort and that she has the power to get it as well. gave her means to get her halfway happy.

kali and her gang not show related opinion: i think they were fucking amazing. ok i am always fucking down for punks in media. i'm obsessed. that right peak 70s/80s punk is just it does something to me. like y'all know i love eddie and i have a soft spot for metal heads but if they made eddie a punk? i would have died. i would have one hundred percent died. (no i didn't just think about it now) anyway i think that kali's hot, i think mick's hot, i love sunshine, axl's kinda there and that other one that i'm currently forgetting the name of (so sorry sister from finding carter) was unhinged and i loved it. the thing about it is that like they were outcasts, they were freaks, they were people forgotten about and unwanted. and they made a family of it. with respect, with loyalty. that's just what it's all about. and kali i think wanted to genuinely have that with el. she wanted el to feel like she has a family and then her own otherness, which makes her more other than the rest of them, won't be so big. it'd be smaller. because she wouldn't be alone.

personally i am of the mind that kali should come back in s5. i think there were a fair amount of little moments where they mentioned eight. which was kali's number. there is something about how no one else really showcased kali's ability and kali didn't necessarily have everyone else's powers. so i think that would certainly come in handy with defeating vecna. he couldn't counter it. the thing about him against el is that their powers feel identical to me. kali would be something different.

does any of this make sense? probably not but i'm always accepting more questions!

Just some drabbles featuring various characters. I know I don’t write a lot of these characters very often, so lmk if you have questions about them.

Cal sat on the floor, petting the puppy at his side. He frowned as he heard another sneeze from Carter’s room. “Hope he’s not getting a cold.” He commented to the dog.

He spent half an hour petting the dog, trying to keep it from pulling the cone off, and getting increasingly concerned as Carter kept sneezing in the other room.

He was about to check on him when the younger goalie stepped into the living room, almost empty box of tissues in his left hand. He saw the dog, stopped and took two steps back.

“You ok?” Cal asked.

“So this is why I’m sneezing,” he mumbled, looking at the dog, too softly for the other goalie to hear. “Why do we have a dog?” He asked, louder.

“This is Beau, Steve’s dog.” Cal referenced their captain. “He got neutered yesterday…can’t be left alone because he’ll pull the cone off. And Steve had a few appointments this afternoon.”

“Hh’Kshhh.” Carter squished a sneeze into well worn tissues. “When’s Steve picking him up?”

“About 4. You ok? Not catching a cold, are you?”

“I’m allergic to dogs.” Carter said with a rueful smile.

“Explains the sneezing.” Came Cal’s comment as they both looked at their watches. About 2 more hours with the dog. “If I’d have…I’d never have told Steve…”

Carter cut him off. “It’s not like you knew.” He held a tissue up towards his nose.

“I don’t know if anybody can take him…or if Steve can get back sooner.” Carter frowned.

“KihhSchoo!”

“Bless you. There’s antihistamines in the bathroom.” The one thing he could offer up.

“IhhKischh!”

“Maybe I can take him to the park?” He offered.

“In a cone?” Carter sniffled, swiping at his nose. “Probably easier for me to get lost for awhile.”

“You sure? I mean, it’s 2 hours, and you’re still dealing with that ankle sprain. Not like you can go for a walk.”

“I’ll grab lunch…groceries…somethiiihKihtschh.”

Carter nodded. “Go take an allergy pill. I’ll check to see if the grocery list is missing anything.”

Sam looked up from her nest on the couch as her roommate stepped into the apartment. Ella slipped off her jacket, looked at her and sighed.

“Blind date went that well?”

Ella rolled her eyes, pushing Sam’s legs aside and slumping down on the couch. “Why do I put myself through these things?”

Sam fumbled for a tissue; not finding one, she buried her nose in her comforter. “UhhChoo!”

“Gross, Sam.”

Sam unearthed the box of tissues for a loud blow. “Bless you sounds nicer.”

Ella looked up at the ceiling as if asking the lord for strength. “Didn’t even make it to dessert. He was so condescending.”

“Oh?”

“Can you actually survive as a writer? Does it pay enough? Isn’t it egotistical to thih..thihh…hihtSchoo!…think you’re funny? On and on and on.”

She sniffled. “And then he droned on about his own work. Because being a patent lawyer is sooooo fascinating.” She brought her hand up. “Ehhtshoo. And on top of it, my allergies are acting up this evening.”

Sam bit her lip. Ella had allergies, but in the 3 years they had lived together, she’d never seen them flare up in January. “I think you caught my cold.”

Ella sighed, burying her nose in her elbow. “Uhhtschoo!” She nodded. “I wasn’t going to tell him that though.”

“You look a little under the weather.” Tim commented as he walked into the office to see Freddie slumped at his desk.

“More than a little.” Freddie moaned. “Caught Jamie’s cold. Everything hurts.” He paused. “HuhhChushh. And I can’t stop sneezing.”

“Bless you.” Tim slipped into his desk chair, setting his backpack on the ground as Freddie sneezed again. “Bless you again.”

Freddie sighed. “There’s gonna be three or four more before they stop for awhile.” He exchanged his crumpled tissue for a fresh one, just in time to need it. “ChuhhSchoo!”

Tim shot him a sympathetic smile as Alex walked in. “Try not to get the boss sick, ok?” He whispered.

Ethan looked over as Toby suddenly stopped talking, cupped his hands over his nose and sneezed again. “Ble-“ Ethan started, only to be cut off by Toby’s quick head shake and another sneeze.

When Toby didn’t move his hands, he slid the tissue box over.

Toby twisted so his elbow covered his nose, reaching for tissues with his free hand. “UhhShuhh! Schuhh! UhhhShuhh-shuhh! ShuhhSheshh!” He came up for air and blew his nose.

“Bless you. I’ve never seen you sneeze like this before. You’ve been sneezing since you got here.”

“HuhhShuhh!”

“It can’t be your allergies. It’s the wrong season. And I’ve never seen them this intense before.”

“HuhhtSchehh, UhhChesshhUhshh!” Toby blew his nose again. “Cat.” He managed before folding over again.

Ethan looked confused.

“Allergic.” Toby said after a fierce blow. Trying not to sniff back his runny nose, he continued. “I didn’t know you had a cat. HuhhhChshh!” That one he managed to stifle.

Ethan’s nodded. “Bless you.” He reached for the cat. “Might be better if I put him in the other room.”

Toby shrugged. “Maybe.” His voice was stuffier than Ethan had ever heard him. He pressed the tissues to his nose to catch four harsh, rapid sneezes.”

“Do you need to leave? I can take you…call your wife…”

Toby shook his head. “I don’t know. I didn’t know you had a cat, so I’m allergyyyy…YihhChushh! ChuhhhEhhShoo! No allergy meds.” He wiped his nose with the tissue.

“I’ll grab a Zyrtec for you after I deposit him elsewhere.” He heard another trio of sneezes as he took the cat from the room. “Bless you.” He called back.

Just sending a lil random message because I was thinking about you recently (we haven't spoken in a bit) and I wanted to talk to you but these days? Every day is Head Empty day so ??

Anyways, I was trying to sleep some time last week and I was thinking abt the Movie 'Walk the Line' (very sad, wouldn't recommend it, personally), and when Reese Witherspoon's character (June Carter) said 'I got the laryngitis'. Then I was thinking about the word laryngitis and like, what's the etymology of a word like that? How many other words have 'lary' in them (and have related meanings). Like how in 'irrelevent' it's from relevant (it's French) which is like 'depending upon/helpful', which is from relevantem/relevens which is from the stem of Latin relevare which is to lessen/lighten, hence 'to help; assist; comfort, console', and how that is a little similar maybe to the word relieve and isn't that just wild how language has come about and I think of words as cousins?

Anyways I couldn't sleep for fucken hours and I was thinking things like this which may sound smart, but frequently I have to google 'how many 0s are in a million?' because my brain is stupid

I love to think of words as cousins, and I love that illustration linguists use that shows all the world languages as one big tree, connected between them. it's insane to think that we, as humans, have this skill to learn new languages and change and adapt our worldview around them. like, i come from a bilingual household and i find it so crazy how sometimes i don't even notice when i switch languages bc i'm too focused on the emotion i'm trying to convey. and the fact that we as a species keep reading and repeating words from ages ago because we feel like they are saying something that is equally important to us as it was to the people who spoke them first it just sfghjkgfdfghjkjh it warms my heart and makes me feel so connected to the human experience, it's so weird

also, friend, you're not alone on staying up for hours thinking about things, but usually, when i've been lying on my bed for over an hour and can't sleep i just end up reading wikipedia articles at 2am. and then it's down the rabbithole, y'know? i start with something like searching a book i'm reading and end up on an entry about the religious habits of the Iberic peninsula before the common era and thats on being an anxious person with a really active brain. it frustrates me a bit because i could be spending the same time reading a book (the same one i was searching for, in fact) but instead i'll be reading a list of historical events in 1822, right?

I haven't stubbed your toes on anything for the longest time, but funnily enough, i've had this annoying cough (i tested and it's not the virus) so i think it could be, indeed, laryngitis.

i fell back in love with late-season x-files this year! doggett/reyes was my fic writing origin story, and i am fully back on my bullshit with those two. i also LOVE the dynamic of the three agents in season nine, as people and friends, and it would be so interesting to explore as lovers. random prompt ideas:

john gets knocked around a lot — so what if it's monica's turn to be hurt/in danger on a case, and john's turn to find her or care for her afterward?

doggett/scully/reyes would be so complicated and interesting!! scully learning to trust anyone except mulder; how would it feel for john to spend time around william; there's a good chance this isn't monica's first poly rodeo, but what about the other two... etc etc any little bit about their dynamic would be fun to play with.

the real prompt for the ot4 would be "okay, but for real, how do they not kill each other?" but in a fun way.

this show is an old, old fave, so anything you write will feel like seeing beloved old friends again. pre-series, during, or post-series are all great, and i'm a fan of canon divergence! most of these characters get pretty traumatized by the narrative, and their relationships could be understandably fucked up as a result, but i like it when characters are good and loving at their core -- even if it looks messy while they figure themselves out.

i would love any fix-it that saves talia, with any combination of people involved

did lyta and talia know each other as young telepaths/psi cops interns?

for sinclair/sakai: i LOVE a reunion-of-exes-but-now-it's-right ship soooo much. anything along their journey, including a potential future where she goes with him to minbar or they otherwise reunite again, would be fun to read!

(note: i have read "to dream in the city of sorrows," so if you know it and want to use it as a backdrop for a sinclair/sakai future fic that's fine, but i'm NOT attached and would also love to see your canon divergence of choice!)

👽 stargate sg-1

clone sam/jack: i love it best when these two are still themselves, working through some angst and alienation from both their past and their new lives, but also with hope for a sweet future together. there's such a good opportunity for tension between what they were and what they are, both personally and for their relationship.

what's something that used to be normal, but feels so different now? (e.g. if one of them is in danger or injured... but could be anything!)

after they survive high school, what's next? when do their lives start to feel like their own?

janet fraiser/daniel jackson: these two often fall together very easily in the background of sam and jack fics, but they have lots of fun complications of their own (their professional lives; daniel's past; janet raising a traumatized child...), and they have so much potential to be good and loving and maybe a little snarky together.

heroes canon divergence where she survives but it’s a close thing — how does that impact them (either pre-relationship or established)?

something set off-world, since janet so rarely gets to travel through the gate...

this is an extremely niche pairing and so you are definitely not here to write this, but i love jake and diane sooooo much. if, by some rare pair miracle, you have seen this show (!!) i would adore ANYTHING about them!!

i love this floating bicycle wheel in space and everyone inside it so much!!

julian/ezri: the canon execution of this pairing was not great, but somehow i still really ship it. it's complicated, there's war trauma, there's joining trauma, but i think they could recover together and be friends and lovers for real. i'll take anything from silly fluff to a messy deep dive, totally up to you.

what if the war has lasted longer, and it had taken longer for them to get together?

they could do with some shenanigans i think

miles/keiko/kira: there's so much potential here for fun and healing and cultural exchange, and at the end of the day, i just want kira to keep her new family.

during the series: what if they just keep delaying kira's move-out after the baby is born...

anything about getting the family (the whole ds9 family or just this family!) back together post-series

jadzia dax/lenara kahn: truly the closest we get to a canon soulmate au. i love them and want them to be happy 😭.

what if lenara was telling the truth, and just needed more time?

b'elanna/kes: i believe that b'elanna loves and wants gentleness, even if she doesn't know what to do with it at first. i also adore kes as a character. her kindness! her powers, and how she is both drawn toward them and a little scared of them! her brief and vibrant life!

kes has no preconceptions about klingons, so how does that impact how b'elanna sees herself?

anything at all to do with kes's developing powers (and maybe how b'elanna reacts to them...?)
