Sure, but the meme was acting like it was the only possibility. I don’t even think it’s from a woman the Ewoks previously ate is even that likely for multiple reasons.
I don't think the person that made it put that much thought into it, but again you aren't wrong.
There's also this to consider as a possibility
Tumblr media
There's no real time given for when in the Star Wars timeline this happens that I know of, but Wicket is in it so safe enough to assume it's in the same general timeframe as the other movies.
I would put it before ROTJ because if it were after there would likely be a rebel presence of some sort, or at least things like the storm trooper helmet drum set.
So it is entirely possible that after the rescue of the parents
Tumblr media
But before the repairs of their cruiser could be finished, the ewoks made clothing for all of them, because that's how homies do, and there were a few pieces that hadn't been finished yet by the time they were able to be on their way.
Which then were adjusted so that they could fit Leia.
But again, none of that is as funny as thinking they ate someone and it's a meme and a joke which doesn't need to be taken too deeply.
Just laughed at
If you're curious about this movie and the other one they did in order to capitalize off of the popularity of the ewoks, it looks like there's a few sketchy 'tube' sites over in Russia you can watch it on.

Every era, every medium, every dumb lil detail I can fill my squishy lil mind with instead of something more practical. I dont care what is or isnt canon. I want space wizards, and rogues, and space battles. I have felt like I cant really talk about the franchise for a long time now cuz of all the craziness surrounding it, but im done with all that jazz. I want to scream it to the stars while whipping one of my dueling lightsabers around. If I can use the term Special Interest then Star Wars certainly is one.

I know I shouldn't have put any consideration into what older sw fans say about any sw content that was outside the Skywalker saga, but some really made it seem as if The Ewok Adventure/Caravan of Courage was completely unwatchable.
It is very obvious that this was made and meant for children interested in the sw universe. Yes, it is cute and simple, but that should not have warranted the amount of hate it gets.
Mace is a young teen who takes up the responsibility of protecting his little sister after their family crashes on Endor. Not knowing if the locals are hostile, can you really blame him for how he is when we are initially introduced to him? Plus, the one person he's supposed to take care of then got extremely sick, and his only option is to trust that these teddy-bear-like creatures will actually be helpful to him. It is completely understandable for him to be scared and to lash out. These are children ffs.
Watching this just made me more glad I didn't grow up with sw. I'm not absolutely bitter when watching things that expand the universe.
Is this a good film? No. But is it unwatchable? Also no.
Plus, sw is so unserious most of the time. It isn't so unbelievable that the Ewoks can be, and ARE, as brave and resourceful and actually helpful as they are.

Star Wars fans often say they wish there was a Star Wars movie where you didn’t see a single lightsaber. Solo got close, it’s true.
I got great news, folks. The 4th and 5th films produced in the series fit the bill from way back in 1984 and 1985. That’s right, Caravan of Courage and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor have zero lightsabers and barely any blasters even. Thank me later.

Ewoks: The Battle for Endor
I think i saw the DVD release of it. Riddle of Beskar Riders of Endor Woah, woah, lucas, when i wrote about Conan it’s wasn’t a call to action. Well, that escalated quickly. Star Wars 6 is a direct sequel to Star Wars 5, and this children’s fantasy-adventure film opens with the whole family dying. The last one’s target audience was teens and kids. This one is made only for kids, despite the…

LOVE HURT.
IT was something that multiple people agreed upon. Steve Harrington was one of them.
The whole party had some semblance of loss somewhere in their hearts, but Steve…
It just seemed like something was gunning for him, sucking the happiness one loss at a time.
Steve had never before known what love could’ve been until he met you. There was always something about you that never seemed to leave him alone. Whether it was that stupid grin, the stupid hair, the stupid arms, the stupid hugs, the stupid sappy words. Everything that Steve missed out on was being passed onto him like he was a reject shop, which was what he felt like. You gave him love, gave him hope, gave him life even.
Then you died.
When Dustin and Eddie came back through the portal without you, Steve freaked out. When Dustin couldn’t scream the words without them catching in his throat, Steve begged him to keep them there. When Dustin said he wasn’t strong enough to carry you and Eddie was on his way to collapse, Steve screamed that he was. He was strong. He could do it. He could, he promised he could. With tears in his eyes and dirt on his face and his hand on his chest, he promised he could carry you back. With his knees on the ground and his voice lost in the wind, he promised he could.
So he ripped himself up like he wanted to rip his heart out of his body, ignoring the cries and begs of the people behind him. He had never moved faster in his life than when he was climbing into that portal, throwing open the caravan door, sprinting to the figure that lay in the dust. His voice returned as he screeched, flailing his arms to rid the area of any of the bats that might have smelled the meat, the fresh kill. There were no bats flying. They had all dropped a while ago. He knelt next to the person he had recklessly given everything to, shaking your shoulders and begging you to wake up. He didn’t stop asking the favour, even when he claimed it was too cold for you here, dragging you body upright into a standing position. He didn’t stop asking even when he began walking, praying that your legs would move the same way. They left tracks in the dirt as they dragged. He didn’t stop begging even when he screamed at Nancy to pull you through. She could feel the toll that death had taken on you. The loss of muscle, the eerie stillness. Yet, Steve still didn’t stop begging even when he said that you were safe now.
Wake up now. You can’t sleep here. You have to wake up.
Your eyes were open.
There was no such thing as peace at that moment. Nobody was blessed with the grieving silence. Steve wouldn’t let that happen. He didn’t want it to be silent, not when you loved to make noise. Not when you would laugh at his lame jokes. He couldn’t be silent in his efforts to somehow make you wake up.
Eddie sat on the ground, his back propped up against the wall. He stared straight ahead, his facial expression not changing even as there was a tear. Nancy and Robin didn’t even try forcing their faces still. They twisted and sobbed and cried no matter how hard they tried to stifle it. They didn’t want to add to Steve’s pain. Dustin was in worse shape. He didn’t know what to do. Does he hug Steve? Does he leave him alone? Does he cry? Does he stay strong? What does he do? So, he stands there. He stands there, and he cries, and Steve doesn’t see. He can’t see. The blurriness of his vision paired with the agonising pain in his brain and his heart just makes it so that he doesn’t see anything. He can’t even remember how they got your body to the hospital.
Telling your parents sucked. Steve couldn’t actually do it. He stood at one of the tables, folding clothes for the people packed in the stadium, the ones that had their houses crushed in the ‘earthquake’. He stood there, and he looked horrible. He was pale. He had bags under his eyes. He was thin. His eyes were red and his nose was raw. He couldn’t even talk properly. His hands shook. His knees trembled when your parents walked over.
Dustin had spoken to them. Told them how you died. Or, how you ‘died’. You were caught saving him and Eddie in the ‘earthquake’, and you had died. He chose to keep the fact that you had stood alone, surrounded by a swarm of bats after pushing Eddie out of the fray into Dustin’s arms.
The funny thing was, you didn’t die from the wounds from the bats. You didn’t even sustain many. Sure, you had enough that it would’ve put you in serious danger, but it wasn’t the wounds that killed you. Dustin may have been a little delirious, but he didn’t imagine you clutching your chest and dropping like a sack of potatoes. He didn’t imagine the jerk your body made as you breath caught. He didn’t imagine you dying standing up. He may not have been a doctor, but he wasn’t stupid. He was a nerd, and nerds read.
You had a heart attack. The fear had actually killed you. You had been scared to death.
That wasn’t even the worst part. The worst part was when the bats began to swan dive straight onto you. That was the worst part. That was the part that got Dustin screaming himself awake at night. That was the part that pushed Dustin to drag Eddie away, away from you. You didn’t feel it, at least. Steve didn’t even know how you died. Dustin knew that if Steve knew, he’d actually go mental. So, he and Eddie swore never to tell anyone else. Not family, not the party, no-one.
So when your mother came walking over to the Harrington boy, tears collecting in her eyes as she stretched her arms out, his knees finally gave out. He collapsed in her arms, filling her ears with never ending apologies. She shushed him, sobbing. Soon, your father joined the hug, and the three of them cried over your heroic sacrifice.
Meanwhile, Dustin and Eddie looked on from opposite sides. They exchanged glances, and went back to their own work. They never had to know that your death was so out of place, that you died with that much fear. They never had to know that you had cried that you didn’t want to be there. They didn’t have to know that you had asked Eddie to take you home. They never had to know that you asked Dustin for one more hug.
Love hurt, but they didn’t have to know how much worse it could get.
They kept their mouths shut.

Hamefura Movie Special Episode 2 (Novel) Translation
Tumblr media
I Tried On a Dancer's Costume…
Author: Yamaguchi Satoru
Katarina: It really was magnificent!
After saying this, I, Katarina Claes was raving to my little brother and friends about the magnificence of the show we had just seen.
A while had passed since the arrival of the Mutlaq caravan, the occurrence of the incident, and its safe settlement. Since the reparations had settled down, I asked the caravan people if we could watch their magnificent show again. They gladly accepted, so today, I got to watch the show with the boys, who couldn't last time. In addition to the girls, who had already seen it, the boy also seemed completely mesmerized by the magnificence of the show.
Sophia: I feel like it has become even more lovely compared to the time before. I was entranced by that dancer, and her costume really was lovely.
Sophia passionately talked without catching her breath. She looked like an otaku talking about the thing they are crazy about.
The dancer who had approached us happened to hear Sophia's words, and…
Dancer: So you love the dancer's costume! Would you like to try it on for a bit?
…she casually asked her.
Sophia: Can I? I would love to!
After Sophia had said this while pitching forward as if to fall, the dancer laughed and said "Sure."
While we weren't as eager as Sophia, I, Mary, and Maria were also curious about the foreign dancers' costumes, so we decided to try them on together just a little.
The Mutlaq dancer's costume was something that a dancer from Arabian Nights in my past life would wear, so it was frankly speaking quite revealing. When I was a Japanese high school girl during my previous life, I wore things like tank tops and shorts, but ever since I was born in Sorcier, I had worn skirts that didn't show the legs down to the knees and had not been showing much skin, so it took me quite a lot of courage to wear the dancer's costume. But when I tried it on,
Katarina: Wow, I really look like a dancer! So cute.
Because I was wearing a long fluttering veil that went from my face to my waist, I didn't really feel like I was showing skin. I felt like a princess.
Even though the parts hidden by the veil were a bit high-exposure, I felt excited wearing the costume. When I came out of the changing partition screen in high spirits, I saw Mary, who had come out before me.
Mary: How do I look? I don't look weird, right?
Mary looked terrific as she embarrassedly said this. She was wearing a thinner veil than mine and her clothes were very much see-through, but her voluptuous body combined with the dancer's costume's sensuality brought about an indescribable bewitching sexiness. Coupled with her embarrassed look, it felt like minors wouldn't be able to look her in the eyes.
I didn't know what comment to make at the moment, but then…
Maria: You both look lovely!
Maria came out and said this with a smile. As expected of the legitimate heroine. There indeed was a certain sexiness to her in those see-through revealing clothes and veil, but if I had to choose, I would say loveliness suited her better. And for her to be able to say so readily that Mary was lovely despite all the sexiness she was exuding, she was amazing. I rode her wave and…
Katarina: Yes, you look lovely Mary, really lovely.
…I managed to tell her. Then Maria praised me too, and Mary praised us. We were having this kind of exchange when finally, Sophia came out.
Sophia was incredibly cute. But maybe because I had seen her after Mary and Maria, she had that adorableness of a little child wearing a dancer's costume, and her sex appeal was non-existent. Sophia might have faintly noticed it herself as after looking at Mary's dancer look and hers, she had some kind of distant look in her eyes.
No, Mary is just too abnormal in that respect, you can't compare yourself to her. I wanted to cheer Sophia up since she had lost self-confidence, but what should I do…? Oh, I know! Her big brother Nicol was doting on her, so if I showed Sophia to him, he would praise her cuteness and Sophia's confidence would come back!
Katarina: Alright, Sophia, let's show you to Lord Nicol!
I took Sophia's hand and dashed out of the women's changing space.
Mary: Eh? Lady Katarina, are you going out dressed like this?!
Maria: Lady Katarina, you must put some clothes on you!
Unfortunately, Mary and Maria's voices didn't reach me and I went dressed in my dancer's costume to see the boys waiting outside.
Katarina: Lord Nicol, Sophia looks good in this costume, right? She looks cute, right?
I called out to Nicol like this. Nicol turned towards me, then froze. He remained frozen, not uttering a single word. On top of this, I felt like his face had turned red for some reason. Did something happen?
Katarina: Umm, Lord Nicol, did something…
…happen? But before I could continue,
Keith: BIG SISTER, WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU WEARING?!
Keith blushed and said this with amazing force.
Katarina: Eh?! What I'm wearing? It's a dancer's costume, but… Does it look weird?
Keith: Not "weird", but it is too revealing!
Katarina: Eh?! But the veil conceals things, right?
Geordo: This veil is completely transparent, so we can see what's behind it.
This time, Geordo spoke and pointed this out. His face was somewhat red.
Katarina: Eh? Is it that transparent?
When I looked at myself while in the changing space, I couldn't see behind the veil, but now that I looked again, it was indeed see-through.
Ah, I see. The changing space had been somewhat dim, so the veil had looked mostly opaque, but this place was considerably bright, so now it was see-through. Besides, it was because no one would see me no matter how see-through it was that I tried on a very revealing costume… After remembering this, I suddenly felt embarrassed.
When I looked at the boys once more, Nicol was frozen with a red face, Keith was averting his eyes with a red face, Geordo had a somewhat awkward look and a red face, and Alan had turned his completely red face away!
Looking at everyone's reactions, I felt even more embarrassed and the heat on my face increased.
I returned to the women's changing space at full speed.
Sophia normally came back afterward and said, "Big Brother, I was able to do something for you" and smiled. I couldn't seem to shake off my embarrassment, and on the way back, I couldn't look at everyone straight in the eyes.
