During Bruce's trip around the world, learning all the things needed to be batman, he was recommended Maddie Fenton as a teacher. He didn't understand at first - while she was a ninth-degree black belt, she was also 5 months pregnant with her second child - until he saw her and her husband's inventions.
Bruce spends most of a year with them learning how to build and use everything he'd need to be Batman.
He also becomes little Danny's godfather, much to Vlad's horror when he shows up over a decade later and tries to claim the title.

Something incredibly damning for Maddie and Jack is that in all the time Jazz knows about Danny:
She never once ever so much as even suggests telling them about Phantom.

Prompt 77
So. This was going to be a problem. Danny felt like he was going to scream, even as Dan laughed at their misfortune. Give a tour of some of the Ghost Zone. Fine. Was going well even! They’d even found some sort of dino-ghost zone that his parents were really excited about!
Running away from a ghost t-rex, not fine! Really not fine! The speeder breaking? Super duper not fine! And then a natural portal had opened while they were fleeing! Extra duper not fine! This was supposed to be a quick weekend hangout thing Sam!
And now they’re dinosaurs, and no he’s not angry because he’s tiny, shut up Ellie! Tucker don’t encourage her! There has to be some way back home… maybe… hopefully… He’s never going to go on another trip like that again.

Jazz Fenton is by far the best older sister I’ve come across in cartoon media and blows pretty much every 2000s-era Disney Channel big sister figure out of the water for the sole reason and sheer fact she actually loves and cares about her younger brother, isn’t self-absorbed, and doesn’t treat him like total fucking trash.

THE RULES that I have been going off of, for everyone voting as if this were a fight to the death:
this is a regular episode of Danny Phantom
the cats are loose in Amity Park, this is not an arena or anything.
there are a lot of cats but they aren't trying to kill Danny in particular or are unrealistically aggressive, they are just cats, a good chunk of them being kittens or unable to fight, probably confused as to where they've been transported to
they act like normal feral cats do (there is a difference between ferals & strays). they are not smarter (they think cars are animals) or trained any more than in canon, which does not include fighting humans with technology that can trap cats (it is canon that they cannot fight this & do not train to fight this)
the cats do not have special superpowers that can oneshot Danny, because this is not canon in Warriors. they are literally just animal ghosts. i think they have prophetic visions about the clans, but I don't see how this helps them escape Danny's C&R program as it didn't help the last time
Danny has all of his canon powers
Danny has all of his "training" & practice from canon
Danny has all of the canon Fenton tech, maybe even ghost proof live traps because let's be real, Maddie & Jack would immediately make a bunch if there was a ghost cat problem
Danny has the benefit of looking up "how to catch feral cats"
Danny has help from whoever he is allied with in canon
we're all stupid because this is not the question we should be focusing on
we should be focusing on how the hell Starclan suddenly disappearing would affect the clans
my answer under the cut
Tumblr media
Danny would win, but it would take him months to catch all of them & he would suffer the whole time
he's a dog person too so he wouldn't know how to handle them. Sam would be able to handle them but as soon as any of them start to warm up to Danny (probably like Pinestar or another warrior-turned-kittypet) Cujo would show up & they'd all scatter
except for Swiftpaw, he'd probably fight Cujo, traumatizing him & making it impossible for him to get along with cats in the future, obviously making the situation worse

Daniel Masters AU
So this is brought to you by a fever dream at 6 in the morning. In this au, one Vlad Plasmius partakes in the noble and completely not illegal act of cradle robbing. And by cradle robbing I mean kidnapping toddler Danny because he is a batty old ghost with a family obsession and no morals. (I've decided to change his obsession from maddie to family. No I don't take criticism)
Vlad kidnaps Danny with the intention of turning him into a halfa too.......the only problem is that the portal he's trying to make isn't functional. yet. So in the meanwhile he's gotta juggle making the portal and taking care of Danny in his Wisconsin manor.
This leads to many shenanigans, sleepless and tired Vlad who has no idea how to take care of children + one baby Danny = c h a o s
A year passes by and finally, the portal is up and working and the big moment finally comes. Vlad places Danny as gently as he can, into the portal and turns it on.
.
Except he doesn't.
He can't
Because all he can see as his index finger hovers over the button are cold linoleum tiles of a hospital. Harsh florescence of lights overhead. Faces of people he doesn't know, covered by surgical masks. All he can hear are the squeaking of stretcher wheels, the beeping of monitors, muffled voices he cannot understand.
All he can feel is fire.
....
The next thing he knows, little Daniel is in his arms again.
His feet are lead, unmoving. His arms are steel, wrapped securely around Daniel's still slumbering form. And that's how they stay all afternoon, in front of the empty portal.
Thats fine. In the end, he cannot do it. That's fine. Daniel doesn't have to be a halfa to be his son. Little badger was his the moment he was born. Jack would never be a factor. Maddie would never be a factor. They wouldn't even be in the equation.
(And isn't that exactly what they deserve? They left him. They left him to burn and they never looked back they laughed as fire licked at his heels they left him they left him they lef-)
-------------------------------------------------
They never figured out what happened to their Danny. Years and years of missing posters and sleepless nights and tears and research– it was like he never existed.
The only clue to what might've happened to their boy was a single splatter of ectoplasm on the floor
They would find their son. Or they would die trying.
-------------------------------------------------
One fine sunday night, one Daniel Masters stumbles into a secret basement in his house.
........................................................................................................................................................
There's gonna be updates on this cayse I'm sleep deprived rn and it's not as well written as I wish it could be.
This started out as crack and kinda got serious and I'd like ro establish that Vlad isn't going to be a "good" character. He is narcissistic, self serving, controlling and deliberately keeps things from Danny. He basically just ignores the fact that he stole Danny and tries to convince himself that Danny is his. His ghostly nature only makes it worse.
However, he does genuinely love Danny. Not when he first kidnapped him, at that time he only cared about hurting jack and maddie and fulfilling his family obsession. But over the course of the year he spends with Danny, he starts to care for him. Their relationship will eventually be fixed. It'll probably never be okay but Vlad will do anything it takes for him to not hurt Danny anymore. He will find a way to be better. And even if no amount of apologies will make up for what he did, he will still apologize.
The Fentons aren't going to be good either. They have very fixed views on ghosts and it's only increased due to the cradle robbing. They are even more ruthless and cold. They throw themselves into their research even more. Danny is absolutely terrified of them. And they're completely convinced that Danny stole their kid. (Will elaborate later) But they too will learn eventually.
Jazz grows up with her parents constantly working on their ghost research and projects, and she doesn't really believe in it. She grows up with the faint memory of a brother she doesn't know. And even though he parents love her, she wishes that they could let go.
Sam and Tucker will be explored in later posts
@little-pondhead I did a thing

My take on @minnesota-fats ‘s post about Danny being Maddie and Bruce’s kid. Here’s the link to the post if you desire.
So I see Danny being super smart, possibly graduating way early in his teens or at least pretty damn close to graduating when his accident happens. And even though Danny is ridiculously smart he’s still the goofy kid we all know and love. He’s also just a lot smarter about his ‘hero identity’. His grades do end up dropping after the accident but not nearly as drastically as they do in cannon. More like his straight A’s turn into B’s the occasional C which is quickly brought up. I also see him with many more detective skills just cause why not. And his mom trained him and Jazz from a young age. It was mostly used for self defense but came in real handy when Danny started fighting ghosts on the daily.
Anyways; being this super smart kiddo in a family of geniuses he helps run the family business. He ends up dealing with all the numbers and financials and the inventory as well as fulfilling orders and such. He would honestly rather study and talk about astrology and the cosmos but he is plenty knowledgeable about ghosts and ecto-biology due to his parents. And being how he is, Danny has a lot more knowledge of the social structure and mythologies of the Zone. He’s probably the one that put together the classification chart that they use when a new kind of ghost appears/is discovered. He and Jazz help organize all of their parents notes so that they’re understandable and not just mad man rantings.
I also like the aspect of the Fenton parents being more scientifically centered and unbiased towards their work. Like they’re still the crazies of the town but not overly so. Their papers and research are fairly sound. Their inventions do work properly and only explode every once in a while. Idk if they know about Phantom but if they did they would be far more considerate and understanding. Like they would code his ecto-signature into all of the security systems so that he would stop getting shot at every time he came home. This would also fix the random inventions activating and targeting him thing.
I think he knows basically his whole life that Jack isn’t his bio dad but that doesn’t really have an effect on him. His parents decided early on that if Danny ever asked why he looked a little different or something along those lines they would tell him the truth. They don’t tell him names until he’s older just because safer concerns. But if anything, it strengthens their relationship because Jack chooses Danny. He chooses to view the boy as his own son and act accordingly. So Danny never really had the motivation to find/figure out who his bio dad was because he had an amazing dad already. Vlad ruins this and Danny tries not to think about how his bio dad is richer than Vlad and has several adopted kids, one of which is his half brother.
So imagine the whole family has been invited to do TED talks on their respective topics. Jack and Maddie talk about the biology aspect, Jazz about the psychology, and Danny about social structures. Now the kicker is that this event is being hosted in Gotham and sponsored by Wayne Tech. Everything is going well, Danny just finished his presentation and the Fenton’s were all heading somewhere (the hotel, to sit in on other presentations, to go get food, whatever suits your fancy) and they bump into Bruce and one or more of his kiddos. The adults talk and Danny is just in the corner sweating because hOLY SHIT THAT’S HIS BIO DAD. HE WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS.
Or Jazz and Danny run into a couple of the bat kids. They get along like houses on fire. Danny being the incredibly chaotic gremlin he is while also being ridiculously smart and knowledgeable about seemingly random things and Jazz just being like, ‘daww, my baby bro is making friends.’ And at some point Bruce comes looking for his kiddos only to find that they’ve multiplied somehow. Danny tries to be super subtle but ends up tipping off all of the bats and birds when he scrambles to leave with his sister as soon as he sees the man walking towards them. They look into Danny and the only off thing they can find is that his father isn’t listed on his birth certificate.
Meanwhile, in his hurry; Danny ended up rushing himself and Jazz back to the hotel or even just out of the conference center and into the streets. Not the wisest decision because in record time the two get snatched up by kidnappers. They’re convinced that Danny is one of the Wayne kids, which I mean isn’t entirely wrong, and they end up calling the Wayne estate just as Jack or Maddie is trying to get ahold of their kids. There’s a whole mix up but the Fentons get to their kids first before the bats or police and the whole family just kicks ass. Once everyone has been ‘rescued’ and taken to safety, Bruce comes into the picture. Jack and Maddie greet him warmly and they get talking. Somehow it slips that they had been at that conference all those years ago and dots are connected. Maddie vehemently states that she didn’t want to bother Bruce with Danny because she was afraid of him seeing it as an opportunity for her to extort money from him.
Their conversation goes something like;
“We knew that there was a high possibility that Danny wasn’t Jack’s kid so the only other possibility for that timeframe would be the drunk one night stand I had with you. But just to make sure we had Danny paternity tested shortly after he was born. All it did was solidify that he was definitely not Jack’s. There is a very slim chance that he may not even be yours but we didn’t want to intrude on your life.” Maddie explains, Jack is standing next to her with a soft smile pulling at his lips. “I had heard about the rumors about other women trying to do that exact thing to get to your fortune. I decided I didn’t want to do that.”
“I have never treated Danny as anything other than my own son. So you don’t have to worry about that.” Jack adds as he winds an arm around his wife. “If anything I think I’m pretty attached to Dan-o!”
“But if you would like to get tested to make absolutely certain that Danny is yours we won’t object. If you’d rather not be in his life we also won’t take it badly. But if you’d like to talk to him first we can set something up for tomorrow.” There’s an indecipherable glimmer in the woman’s eyes. Nothing bad, mostly caution and curiosity.
Bruce was blown away at the openness and acceptance that these two showed. He glances over at the raven haired teen that was currently being doted on by an older red headed girl. He could see the resemblance in the boy. It showed in the color of his eyes and the curve of his jaw.
“If you would, I would like that. We could possibly even have our families get together later. I know your two children have met a few of my adoptive children. They seemed to have got along quite well.”
Maddie nods and the small group of adults then start to plan their get together for the following day.
Danny formally meeting his bio-dad’s side of the family is great. They go on a tour of the estate and somehow end up in one of the gyms. This then gets a show off contest started and they’re now sparing with each other. It starts off with Danny challenging Damian and Danny being able to keep up with his little brother. Then it turns into a who-can-beat-Danny contest. The answer is no one. Not a single one of them comes remotely close to winning. Jazz almost beats him but gets taken down at the last minute.
Do they know about Phantom? Eh, they just think that he’s a meta and call it good.
That’s all I’ve got but I’d love to hear y’all’s thoughts on this. -w-

Double Trouble AU: Still a C student
Life after Danny’s portal accident was anything but normal, that being said there were no problems between Fenton and Phantom. Rather the trouble came with everyone else.
Sam and Tucker were pretty freaked for a while after. It got a bit better in time but Phantom can still see they feel more comfortable around Fenton than with him. As for Jazz and their parents? Well of course Danny decided that they couldn’t tell their parents about this development, Maddie and Jack being as ghost crazed as they are, and who knows how Jazz would react to the news that he technically died.
It was easy to keep Phantom hidden from their family with his invisibility but that doesn’t mean it’s all smooth sailing. Jazz is always more preoccupied with scolding their parents to really notice anything amiss with her little brothers brother, and so far their parents have been dismissing their tech reacting to their son as software bugs.
Despite all that, Fenton can’t help but pity his ghost every time they are unfortunate enough to witness a demonstration of their parents newest inventions. He and Phantom are separate, their experiences are their own unless they choose to share it with each other, but they are still one person, still Danny. It’s clear in the way that Fenton can feel prickles of terror not his own each time their parents talk about catching a ghost. Clear in the contented warmth that gathers in his chest when it’s just he and Phantom in their room after a long day. Even in the pangs of frustration and confusion that ripple in his head when they try to work through their homework.
Phantom is ok. It’s fine that their parents would possibly end him on sight, or worse. It’s fine. Really. He’s completely fine. He knows that Fenton wouldn’t let anything happen to him, that he’s safe from their parents so long as they stay close. Fenton always does his best to reassure him when their parents get a bit too close for comfort, always makes sure he knows he’s safe, he really appreciates that. And it’s not like it’s all bad staying in the Fenton household as a ghost!
Now that there’s two Danny’s their chores get done in half the time, they even split it evenly between the two of them. Phantom does the chores that his powers make significantly easier and Fenton does the chores that were already pretty simple and easy to do. The only exception to this is when it comes to lab-related chores, which Fenton absolutely refuses to let Phantom do.
“It’s not safe with all their junk laying around.” Fenton had reasoned when his ghost insisted he could help.
It made the ghost huff in offence and cross his arms like a petulant child as he float there. “Yeah that’s exactly why I should be the one to do it!” Phantom argued, “I’m already dead, it makes way more sense that I be the one to deal with the dangerous stuff!”
But the human boy wouldn’t relent, insisting that he handle anything involving the lab filled to the brim with ghost hunting equipment. It’s the closest the Danny’s have ever been to a fight, but fortunately it never reached that stage. Neither of them wanted to figure out how to explain something like that to Sam and Tucker when they inevitably noticed something was up with their friend. Both versions of him.
So with two Danny’s on the case chores became way easier, and so did most things. Education was not one of those things. You know that saying, two heads are better than one? Well Danny does and it turns out it’s a complete lie! Ok, maybe not a complete lie. But still very misleading!
Considering there was two of them, Fenton and Phantom thought for sure their grades would get way higher, after all there’s two of them now, double the focus! Literally two heads! Yeah, no. As it happens that is not how things went. If anything Fenton would argue that their focus is even worse now and they’re lucky that they are still getting Cs.
Sam seemed to find their dismay at the revelation quite amusing. In hindsight it does make more sense that splitting one person into two would half their attention span rather than double it, but the Danny’s agree to keep that between them. No way were they gonna give the goth girl the satisfaction of being right.
Even though it didn’t seem to make much difference either way Fenton and Phantom still worked together on every test and stack of homework that got sent their way. “It’s just more fun that way,” they had answered in unison when Tucker had asked.
“Even if it’s not improving my grades, it doesn’t suck as much when I’ve got a partner,” Fenton explained when they only received a confused expression in return.
Phantom nods along with his human half in full agreement. “Sometimes it’s even kinda fun!” He adds with glee.
Both their friends share a confused look but Danny doesn’t mind, his friends don’t get it but they don’t expect them to. He thinks maybe this is something you can only understand through experience.
Danny is still a C student, but who cares about a letter anyway? He has something far better.
So chores are way easier and school work still sucks. Being separated like they are might not be helping their grades, but it has provided an easy way to get back at a certain jock.
It wasn’t exactly a secret that Danny had been in an accident involving some of his parents tech, so naturally all of Casper High knew. Amity Park isn’t exactly a big place, news travels fast, especially when it involves the Fentons and a hospital trip. Most of the A-listers took some kind of pity on Fenton because of this, everyone in fact. Everyone except Dash.
The news of the Fenton accident didn’t deter the bully at all.
Everyday Dash would corner Fenton in one hallway or another and take out some frustrations on the boy, and usually this would be all, Danny helpless to stop the daily harassment and abuse without incurring further problems. But now he has Phantom with him.
So now every time Dash try’s to corner Fenton, malice and violence on his mind, his laces might mysteriously get tied together. He might trip and land on his face. He might be chased down the hall by the floating football he had been carrying only a moment before. He might suddenly need a belt.
The different ways Phantom drove away the bully always managed to get a chuckle from Fenton, and the decrease in bruising was very appreciated.
It also inspired Fenton and Phantom to try pranking, much to the displeasure of their victims. As it turned out having two people working on it, one being a ghost, made the whole pranking thing a bit too easy.
How do you avoid an invisible pie? Sure it’s suspicious that Danny suddenly wants you to show him some of your psychology books, but the door is locked so how could there be a bucket of water ready to be tipped over your head? Surely you’re just imagining that plant moving, you must’ve forgot to pick it up before, Danny isn’t close enough to have moved it and there’s nobody else around.
Needless to say nobody was pleased with Danny’s new found love for practical jokes. But boy did the two sets of giggles that their jokes always caused give them reason to tolerate it.
It seemed like there were no downsides to this situation! Fenton got to keep living his life, maybe even better than they did before, and Phantom got to keep being Danny, as well as taking some long overdue revenge when necessary.
Everything seemed so much better now. Danny was happy, both of them were happy.
They’re still a C student, but they’re happy and that’s what matters.

Rewrite for Masters Of All Time.
What's worse than a bad episode? A bad episode that had the POTENTIAL to be truly amazing. The concept of Danny time-traveling to the past and messing with Vlad's portal incident only to make the timeline even worse than it currently is so he *needs* to fix it back to normal.
[Certain changes and explanations why I made those changes will be put in brackets like these.]
Borrowing @schnuffel-danny's Jack wrote letters to Vlad hc for this loose plot rewrite. Finally got spurred into writing this when I saw @picturejasper20's post about it.
Starting at the beginning, let's cut out Vlad going to the Fentons for help and make the trigger for Danny relying on time travel being that he is fading in and out of the time-space-continuum and he goes to Clockwork to figure out why. Clockwork in turn, gives him a medallion to stabilize him and informs him that someone stole stuff from him and is changing the past, thus effecting the present. Danny jumps to the conclusion that it's Vlad and volunteers to go after him, Clockwork can't read minds so he doesn't know that Danny thinks Vlad did it and okays it, sending him to the year he saw the 'dubious creature' flee to.
[This change both lets us dive right into the time-travel shenanigans thus giving us slightly more time to see more timelines. It also makes Danny look less stupid because in this case, jumping to the conclusion that time-travel is the answer makes much more sense. There's multiple solutions to trying to cure a virus that don't involve time travel, but you can't fix 'somebody's messing with the past' *without* time travel.]
After he lands in Wisconsin University, 198X, Danny's even more sure that it's Vlad messing with the past, but despite that, he doesn't find him anywhere while he zooms around the university hunting him down. He *does* find or rather, crashes into College!Vlad. Who is surprisingly chill with the existence of ghosts being real and doesn't seem phased by Danny phasing through him. Danny apologizes, C!Vlad accepts it, telling Danny not to worry, it's not like anything happened. Both move on their way without thinking about the interaction while C!Vlad mutters something about 'Undead Fenton Family reunion'. [Scene is there for foreshadowing.]
Danny spends all day looking for Present!Vlad up until he finds a flyer for the 'Ghost club' where they plan to show off the proto-portal. Figuring that P!Vlad is going to sabotage it somehow, he stakes out the area the portal's being built waiting for P!Vlad to show up and he doesn't.
Instead, College!Jack insists C!Vlad handle the remote while he inspects the portal's structural integrity. C!Vlad agrees, but has doubts that the portal will really work which he expresses to C!Jack, who waves it off and sticks his head inches away from the portal frame as he's 'inspecting' and Danny's waiting until C!Jack's done so Vlad can peer into it so things can happen as they're supposed to.
But he doesn't.
College!Maddie inspects the calculations and tells the two that they are wrong, C!Vlad sneezed and turned the remote on by accident, cursing as the portal turns on. Thus, the proto-portal incident occurs with Vlad and Jack's positions swapped. And Danny learns his dad left out that the accident was far more horrific than he described.
[The horrors occur off-screen, but we're shown shadows, see Danny's reactions, hear C!Jack's agonized screams along with C!Vlad and C!Maddie's horrified screams, and see Danny run out of the room to throw up in the nearest trash can. I made this change for three reasons. 1. Reveal that Jack's retelling of the 'good ol' days' has a few lies ingrained in the sugar coating, the biggest of which being the severity of the accident 2. Reveal to the audience that Vlad actually has a really high Fenton-nonsense tolerance level and that while he holds grudges like a cup holds water, he doesn't hold unwarranted grudges. 3. I just want to add a little body horror concepts in the show about a half-dead kid who fights ghosts, sue me.]
From there, Danny follows the three and sees how things must've played out from the original timeline, but with Jack and Vlad swapped; Maddie and Vlad keep trying to visit Jack, but hospital security keep turning him away, they also attempt to send him letters and gifts but those are also rejected, but neither are giving up... [Scene added to show the audience Jack and Vlad were friends back then and that Jack didn't just drop Vlad like a bad habit after he was hospitalized]
Feeling defeated as he didn't prevent the timeline from changing but not sure what to do, Danny kinda waits on the hospital roof until Clockwork pushes a button on his staff that brings the kid back to the present.
Clockwork is confused, Danny's also confused, but surprisingly, the timeline is as things should be on the surface... Just to double check, Danny heads in hoping for the best, like maybe things were pretty rough for his dad at first, but *surely* his face healed up and he and mom got together soon afterwards right? Maybe this change is a good thing and he can learn how to be a halfa from his own dad, right?
Wrong. Instead, Jack Fenton lives alone in Amity Park with a robotic version of Jasmine and a cat named Jack Junior. There's a lot less Fenton inventions in Fentonworks and a lot more ghosts strapped to dissection tables, many, if not all of them, are not moving.
[Robot added and cat's name changed because as silly as he is, Jack *is* an inventor in his own right and making a robot daughter does seem like something he'd do if he was REALLY lonely, as well as would parallel Vlad's future creation of Danielle. Ghosts on dissection tables added to add some tension as whether or not Danny is in danger, this Jack is definitely dangerous.]
Instead of the bootleg Vlad Plasmius costume, Jack's ghost form does have the pointy ears, red eyes, bluish skin, and fangs that Vlad's strain of halfa-ism has, but he wears the same orange jumpsuit (as only his face was caught in the portal, not his entire body) and an added purple cloak/hood combo.
Danny is at first intimidated by this large hooded figure surrounded by dead ghosts and they have a short fight, then in battle, the latter notices the medallion on the former and flips the hood off, excitedly asking Danny about it, being just as chipper and ramble-y as he remembers his dad, even as a very scary ghost. Relieved, Danny explains what he knows the best he can and asks 'Jack Frighton' [ghostly surname being a poor mesh of 'Fright' and 'Fenton'] about what happened in the past.
Jack's own recollection of how things played out is a bittersweet story about how back then, someone warned him that his best friend would go through something terrible if he looked through that proto-ghost portal and he took the fall for him, only for said best friend to never visit him in the hospital and Jack, heartbroken by his supposed friends' lack of care for his life (which Danny knows isn't true), moves away to Amity Park for a fresh start.
"..Did you forgive them?"
"I did, the distance and time made it easier to and now I've got the best job in the world, the coolest powers to do it with, and an assistant who's like a daughter to me. Although given that apparently in your timeline I have a REAL daughter and a son I guess that might be where the feeling comes from..."
"Do you ever want to see them again? Vlad and Maddie, I mean."
"*laughs* not when I'm half-ghost and they're professional ghost hunters! I'm happy for them, but I can be happy for them at a safe distance, we send each other letters, cards, and research materials all the time now!"
"...Aren't you a ghost-hunter too?"
"Nope."
"But what about all the-?"
"Oh? These guys? I work as a ghost-mortician. I also ghost-fish, but that's just a hobby. I've tried, but I'm not cut out to be an actual hunter, 'got a really lousy aim, but you don't need an accurate aim with a fishing rod to catch something!"
"Ghost-fishing? So you do have a ghost portal? Can I use it to get back to Clockwork?"
"Well Danny, I'd say 'yes', but I sent it over to Mads and V-man for reference on their own portal a month ago... ...I'll show the way to their address."
One Specter Speeder flight to Vlad and Maddie's Wisconsin house later, Jack and Danny switch to human forms and Jack knocks on the door, getting no response.
Jack knocks again and calls out for them, still no response.
Danny just phases through the front door and Jack follows, both of them notice that the house is in a state of disrepair; broken furniture everywhere, puddles of ectoplasm on the ground, and strange claw marks on the walls.
As the two quietly make their way through the house, (well, Danny quietly goes through the house, Jack calls out for his old friends every two minutes), Danny notices framed pictures, inventions, and other odd items symbolizing Vlad and Maddie's relationship through the years on the walls and left broken on the ground. Through these items he sees their wedding, their honeymoon, their anniversary dates, the devices they built together, their ghost-hunting trips, their... the pictures of the "children" they apparently made together with mad science. [Clone kids foreshadowing Kindred Spirits, but they look closer to the skeleton and Frankenstein clones as opposed to anything like Dani.]
While Danny's holding up one of the letters, he hears ectobeams going off and Jack flies into the room, panicking as he's yelling at Danny to run for his life, saying that they messed with something they never should have messed with. That they bit off more than they could chew. Danny is just about to question Jack before he hears the inhuman groan and sees the ectoplasm-oozing figure of what is supposed to be Vlad Masters.
[We will not see a dairy king!Vlad future in this rewrite for multiple reasons, but one of the biggest ones is that despite being a different timeline, DK!Vlad is a copy-paste of Main Timeline!Vlad despite it making literally no sense and just downgrading Vlad's character by saying 'he's just an asshole, don't pity him'. However I understand as a writer that Danny needs to not have moral dilemmas about undoing the Vlad X Maddie timeline especially since I gave them kids even if they are weird-clone kids that might not even be sapient, so enjoy ecto-zombies and the looming implication that said kids are also zombies.]
The ecto-Zombie Maddie shrieks as her husband's pinned down and lunges at Jack, who puts up a shield blocking her barrage but also giving Zombie!Vlad time to get up...
As he's holding them off despite being distraught, Danny finds the portal and looks back at Jack just as he can't hold them off any longer, promising him that he will fix the timeline, Jack wishes him luck while Danny jumps through the portal to head back to Clockwork.
Once there, Danny explains that he learned from Jack what happened and what he needs to do to prevent this timeline that's on the brink of a zombie apocalypse from happening: He needs to stop Vlad from convincing College!Jack from sticking his head in the portal.
Clockwork attempts to clarify that Vlad isn't the one who changed the past, but Danny's already going through the Time-thing and while Clockwork *could* just bring him back to the present, he decides to stay and watch what he does to let Danny's rash decision not to listen be its own punishment.
This time when he's in the past, he shows up in C!Vlad and C!Jack's bedroom in the morning and basically sticks to the two of them like glue, claiming that he's one of their relatives and being really vague about it so Vlad thinks he's Jack's distant cousin and Jack thinks he's Vlad's distant cousin.
He drags himself along on two different classes with C!Jack and C!Vlad, a really boring study session with them accompanied with C!Maddie, a lunch at a diner where Danny has to remind himself that yes, this is really Vlad because the one and only time he's seen this laid-back, (stoner but its hinted at with the munchies, not shown), actually kinda cool guy get Present!Vlad levels of mad, the only time he sees him get into a full on fight with someone, is when another student from the college tries to steal C!Jack's lunch.
C!Vlad gets his ass absolutely handed to him because he's a twig in an oversized jacket, but he still gets C!Jack's lunch back because he bit the other guy at least five times.
While Danny's playing bodyguard, he uses ectobeams to successfully scare off what he thinks was Skulker in a bedsheet as the figure was far too large to be Vlad, even in his Plasmius form.
Aside from his presence being known, things in the college go on as Danny assumes they're supposed to, and at the point he sees C!Vlad looking into the rim of the proto-portal, Danny thinks that he's fixed the timeline and heads out of the room before the accident happens as he does NOT want to see it again.
Clockwork sends him to the new present and Danny walks home sweet home only to be greeted by the realization that no, he didn't fix the timeline as the sign on the building reads "Walkerworks".
Today he learns that his mom's maiden name is "Walker".
Danny lets out an exasperated sigh and flies out to Wisconsin to figure out how Vlad messed up the timeline from the man himself before borrowing mom's portal for a bit.
As he gets there, he finds the the beefy Packers' Quarterback: Vlad Masters, who lives with his best friend, the ghost-studying scientist Jack Fenton.
Danny pulls Vlad aside and says that while he understands the Packers thing, why the heck would he'd change the timeline to this when he was obsessed with marrying his mom is he just trying to spite him or just erase him from existance? And Quarterback!Vlad has no idea what he's talking about.
While he buys that Danny's from a different timeline when Danny shows Vlad that he's a halfa, the two are having trouble getting on the same page due to the fact that Vlad has no idea about the timeline Danny's talking about and Danny's getting frustrated up until Vlad brings up the incident and he finally understands what changed in the timeline when Vlad tells him about the aftermath of the portal accident.
"The ghost powers themselves are great, I don't think I'd accomplish any of this if I didn't have them, but the process of mastering them was absolutely terrible, if my best friend Jack didn't visit me in the hospital all the time and encourage me as much as he did, I don't know what I would've done."
"Visited you?"
"Yes! Practically every single day, he also brought gifts and letters, apparently, he wanted to send them, but thought they'd get lost in the mail, so instead he brought them in person..."
Now that he knows what's changed, Danny goes back in time once again to the first day Vlad's at the hospital and waits for either Present Vlad or the past Version of his dad to show up, feeling guilty about ruining Jack and Vlad's happy life together, but also really wanting to, you know, exist.
As night falls and he sees someone his dad's size squeeze through one of the windows, Danny tackles him, throws off the figure's sheet, and takes off his hood/goggles for good measure, revealing that it's not Skulker, not Present!Vlad, not College!Jack, but Present!Jack.
Danny's shocked and demands an explanation from him, also warning him that he ruined the timeline twice and that he's not going to let him do it a third time.
Jack explains that this all started when he added some extra line on his Fenton Ghost-Fisher and while testing it out, he caught a time travel-remote. After figuring out what it was and what it did, he thoughtlessly used it to attempt to fix his broken relationship with his former best friend.
"But it seemed like every time I finally fixed something, I'd turn around for something else to break. I lost him and Mads in one timeline, at first I tried not to mind, but then they even lost themselves, in another, I had him, but lost her, Jazz and Danny..."
Jack hands Danny the remote back with a sigh.
"I'm sorry Phantom. I never wanted to mess anything up or hurt anyone. I really love my family and don't want to lose them. I do want my kids to exist and I swear I'm not trying to run away from them or anything like that. But if I can't save Vlad, if I can't be there for him, how can he ever forgive me for what I've done to him?"
"When you were put in the same situation he was in, you forgave him. You were trying to reconnect with him and Maddie when they were a thing... So why can't he forgive you?"
"It's not as simple as that, kiddo. I saw what could've happened and chose to sacrifice myself, he didn't even get to see the choices."
Danny rolled his eyes.
Sure, he himself 'didn't see the choices' when he was caught in his own portal incident, but he never held a grudge against Sam over it. In Danny's point of view in this moment, the difference between Jack and Vlad is that in the exact same situation, Jack would choose to be a hero where Vlad would choose to be a villain. And to him, that was the reason why his parents worked as a couple while when Vlad was with his mom, things ended terribly.
But he said nothing to his father who had been through enough today. He just sat by him in the hospital hallway waiting for Clockwork to zap them back.
___
And that's the end of the rewrite, comments, opinions, questions, criticisms, and suggestions on how to change this to make it better welcome. I know that it's not a *perfect* piece of work but I hope that it was one less infuriating than the actual Masters Of All Time episode.

So I just read Danny Phantom: A Glitch in Time and...it was ok
Had this come out when I was a kid and just watched Ultimate Enemy I would have gone absolutely feral over it
this show came out in 2004 so not quite sure how to feel about the updated technology IMO it would have been cool to have a time capsule of the show than the common floating timeline you see in comics
unlike with DC graphic novels you can tell the person that wrote this is actually a fan of the show and not a rando corporate pick the plot is plausible and the characters stay in character
A loyal tribute that brings in new lore and character growth
it also retcons the hated movie Phantom Planet
And it leaves enough to be curious for the sequel
People either seem to love it saying it's a good continuation the more serious take they wanted or hate it saying they're tired of villains being complex and redeemable and not pure evil anymore and the plot seems too much like tumblr fanfiction
I made notes as a read it so spoilers under the cut
Dash Kwan Paulina and Star are ghost hunters
Tucker has instagram/twitter “Spectregram” fans
The Fentons supply the town’s ghost hunting tech unasked
Tucker’s wiki “click-a-pedia" has him listed as married to Ember
Danny and Jazz just accept their father is such a bungler he can’t even kill a guy by abandoning him in space
Dan was strong enough to dent the only thing that can contain him and just it being knocked off a shelf was enough for him to break out (why Clockwork the Master of Time never foresaw this happening moved it from a table to a more secure location ¯\_(ツ)_/¯  )
So uh... Dan just absorbed “ate” Clockwork
Ecto energy can reach atomic bomb levels so dimension ending threat there
Since the Disasteroid his powers have been fading their theories match their personalities Tucker-science Sam-government Jazz-trauma
“Do you have any childhood trauma you wanna talk about?” (like Jazz as if you weren’t there)
Vlad found a primordial source of ecto energy and just kept that information to himself for a rainy day
Jazz has a magical girl transformation for her ghost fighting suit
Vlad is just “ignore those clones” (there in clothes so did Vlad just buy multiple copies of Danny’s favorite outfit how did he know his size)
Vlad is such an old man who doesn’t know how to use modern computers
“not a place of honor” ah the nuclear waste warning (we don’t really get much more exploration of this or the seven ancients)
Sam is a horse girl
Valerie still holding that grudge huh
In Pariah’s Keep Danny is suffers from bad memories and holds Sam’s hand to comfort himself
The Keep is Fright Knight’s domain
Danny just forgets humans are the ghosts in the Ghost Zone (in line with how often he forgets what powers he has)
Fright Knight calls Pariah his master
Vlad is such a loser he keeps getting his shit kicked
Maddie “That’s not my Danny.”
The Ghost Zone and human world were split in half an unnatural divide
Danny is still a C student (io don't think he's going to be an astronaut)
Ghosts are manifestations of human emotions not separate entities (take that Fartman)
Eventually they start to lose their human identity it’s why some are less human
Vlad has his own “Where’s the rest of it?” meme
They figured out all ghosts run on some emotional drive or purpose
Danny realizes his purpose is protection but now there’s no longer the monster of the week threat or his parents he never asked himself what he wanted
Now instead of constant fighting he’ll help the ghost achieve their desires they just want to keep doing in death what they did in life and heal the rift
Fight for control Clockwork
Vlad finally grew as a person realizing it was his action and drive for power that drew everyone away and has making amends as his new purpose
Dan just doesn’t want to be alone (makes sense the “no more painful human emotions” +Vlad’s anger and abandonment issues so he’s all the emotions and pain)
Dan is destabilizing flashing back to his pre Dark child form because he’s a being outside his destroyed timeline
Danny is the GOAT
Clockwork needs to fix what he can of the time streams and Danny has two choices Post Disasteroid+no powers or Pre Disasteroid+powers
Danny gives up being accepted so he can fix the realms “I’m Danny Phantom, proctor of humans and ghosts!”
They are back to being invisible losers and Sam is just happy goths aren’t popular anymore
The city doesn’t know how they avoided the Disasteroid but the Mayor declares ghosts are responsible for everything the city will now have a branch of ghost hunters and Danny Phantom is again public enemy #1
Clockwork transfers Dan from Vlad into one of the empty clones he’s Vlad’s responsibility now he’ll be too busy to help again
Clockwork’s powers are finite (so he isn’t omnipotent and all powerful) but he still feels something wrong in the stitches he feels weaker now
And Valerie has a Time Medallion and is pissed (but there was a Valerie in the crowd at the Mayor’s speech so the two Valeries might meet up in the sequel)
Jazz is ecstatic she was right about ghosts being emotions based

Flightless Dead
Everyone is born with wings unique to them, a reflection of themselves. But that means the wings all have one thing in common - they disappear when a person dies. For Phic Phight 2023 c:  Also on Ao3!
If she had been flying, there was a chance Maddie would have missed the slight change of weight. Movement made it easier to miss something so subtle, especially when the braided necklace wasn’t heavy to begin with.
It was strange, to tense up so much. Yet Jack had stiffened as well. She hadn’t dropped a wallet, or mislaid a blaster. Yet today had been distressing, the portal failing completely with almost no lead as to why. Perhaps she was imagining things.
Jack could also just be imagining things. She didn’t want to look down, to open her hand to see the necklace her hand had automatically cupped gently. The store had fallen away as her world centered in on that slight change of weight. The protective material of her gloves was both a blessing and a curse- blocking her ability to feel the feathers to confirm her worries, but also denying her the comfort given by the soft plumage of her family always being partially ‘with’ her.
“Mads-” Jack’s voice cracked, his hands blocking his own family heirloom from her sight. His confident posture was gone, massive wings hunched inwards and doing their best to make the giant of a man look small. He also suspected- feared- prayed he was wrong.
She didn’t want to make him be the one to confirm it. She did not want to be the one to check either. The thin leather strap felt like a blade against her neck as she carefully- so carefully uncurled her fingers to see the feathers that hung from the flock charm. The massive black feather with slight white stippling  at the tip, the thicker reddish one right beside. The short red and brown striped one at a funny angle. All fine, all there. The thin and narrow feather, bright orange like a flame was nested between her own and Jack’s. Yet it was wrong. It was alone. The short coal black feather, the sibling, her brother’s, her son-
An empty leather loop instead of the proof of her baby boy’s life.
Being trapped under a boulder would have been an easier weight to bear, the pain and horror that shoved her breath from her lungs in a pained shriek. Misery, a horror she never wanted to see. A pain that didn’t lessen even as Jack pulled in close and both of them tried to block out the rest of the world with their wings, ignoring how others turned to look or stiffened at the awful sound.
Their child had died, feather gone to the beyond with the rest of his wings, and they hadn’t even been nearby. The world should hear of such a cruel, unfair loss.
They’d need to go to Jazz- to hold her and comfort her and to mourn. Her only brother suddenly stolen away, with no reason. That the weight of her whole world had lessened today, in a way that could never be repaired.
Someone was speaking, trying to get their attention, or trying to help, but neither of them really heard it. How could they? When Danny was gone?
There was no mistaking how horrible the accident had been- that their playing around in a dangerous laboratory had been the last bad decision one Danny Fenton would ever make. Flat on his back against cold tile, arms and legs twisted and limp. Something that should be impossible, an emptiness that made both Sam and Tucker recoil back. Away from the wingless corpse that was their friend.
“What do we do? What can we do?!” Tucker was already hovering from sheer agitation, clutching at his glasses as if they might be lying to him, like Danny would be himself again if he only removed them.
Sam didn’t have an answer, instead staring in mute horror. Danny shouldn’t look like that, shouldn’t be so badly hurt, shouldn’t be dead. It couldn’t be that unsafe here!
The green portal was more like a rocky throat- jagged stones and unwelcoming spikes bristling from what had been flat steel before it had powered itself on and killed Danny. Even if it hadn’t killed him, the claustrophobic walls would have snapped his wing bones in seconds for daring to exist in the same space. Absolutely destroy him. Or maybe the shock of that pain had been what killed him.
They wanted to escape, to flap hard and push past the loose roof panel and pretend the world wasn’t so awful with the wind in their feathers and sun on their backs. To pretend the little flock of three was not suddenly only two. Part of them almost did- but a low, awful noise kept them still.
Danny Fenton was not dead.
He hurt- oh man did everything hurt in a way he did not think was even possible, but he managed to keep breathing.
The ache was bad enough without the awful cold that clawed at his back, a weird and unwelcome sensation. Cramps in his back muscles or wings was one thing. The cold emptiness felt worse. He wanted to curl up a little and let his feathers help warm him up, but moving felt impossible. His parents weren’t kidding about their weird ghost portal being dangerous, apparently. What kind of person should actually be afraid of ghosts? They were just sad little dead things- most couldn’t even fly. It was like being afraid of worms.
Sam and Tucker were still here. So they should help instead of leaving him on the ground while he figured out how to make his brain move his limbs again. Stupid portal and it’s dumb painful shock.
His best attempt to talk was just a weak groan, but at least he could see a bit better now. Tucker was flapping so recklessly that black feathers were falling everywhere one even on his face. Normally he’d laugh about it, but he couldn’t manage it.
“Is he a zombie? Did we make my best friend into a zombie?”
Oh ha ha Tucker. Super funny, calling him a zombie because he got a bit of a shock. If only he could get his mouth to actually say that instead of just making some pathetic grunt.
“No- he’s breathing. I think.” Sam’s eyes were watering, her normally confident voice small and uncertain. “I think he’s alive-“
“But he’s-“
“I know! Just get down here and check if you feel his pulse too okay?”
Why wouldn’t they feel it? What were they going on about anyway? Danny tried to move again, really pushed against his stiff muscles but only made the world go dark, a wave of exhaustion shoving his consciousness back down before he could hurt himself further.
Danny Fenton may not be dead- but some might argue it was crueler that he was not. A lost life is a tragedy. A continued one can be a tapestry of tragedy, constantly marked by the loss suffered.
After all, only the dead lack wings.

Always a man, a city, and a lighthouse...
"Robin, Red Robin, stay back for a minute," Batman said as he dismissed everyone for patrol. "I have a new mission for you. Dozens of civilians have gone missing around the decommissioned Gotham City Lighthouse." A few clicks and the Batcomputer displayed a map of the Upper West Side, a highlight on the lighthouse. "I want you both to investigate the building. Everyone who's gone missing entered the lighthouse, but nothing has been found by the police. I suspect that the lighthouse is being used for gun smuggling, but we need more information.
"That's where you two come in."
Or, I've been reading too much of @virgamsysxvolumes 's Lucky Rush AU, and wanted a true Bioshock AU for dc x dp.
Underneath the city, in the vast and endless caverns beneith Gotham, lies the subterranean city of Amity. Amity was the pet project of the mad scientist couple, the Drs. Fenton, to investigate the effects of ectoplasm on humans, but with the help of their best friend, Vlad Masters, they transformed Amity into a Technocracy City filled with scientists, and completely lacking in morals.
Or at least, that's how it was ten years ago, before the creation of Plasm (the Adam replacement), a neon green goo that's basically meth that gives you superpowers. Everyone from the top scientists to the lower working class starting doping on Plasm, which gave people the ability to control fire, create hallucinogenic spores, summon bats, etc. Vlad, the mayor, was deposed in a cue let by the Fentons and the city descended into anarchy, with people from the surface getting lured down from the lighthouse so they can continue their experiments.
The Fentons are 100% not good people in this. Jack is in charge of all the technological advances in Amity, while Maddie has created human/ghost hybrids--the Little Sisters of the story--that can naturally harvest ectoplasm from dead bodies to use for experiments. Once everyone's hooked on Plasm, the Little Sisters are in danger from acting Splicers, so she creates Big Daddies to protect them.
Danny is the only Little Brother, and Jazz is the only Big Sister. Vlad turned them both into monsters as revenge against the Fentons for the cue, but the couple didn't really care, with Jack barely acknowledging he has children, and Maddie acting like they were never turned into monsters to begin with. Not sure about ages... Jazz is probably the same as her canon age, but if Danny is still 14, he looks 10, tiny and malnourished and pale.
Tim and Damian are trapped in Amity after an automatic system determines them as good test subjects. The AI filters out any cops, so that's why the police never found anything. The elavator brings them down into the city, showing a sweeping shot of neon in the darkness of the caves, and the boys figure out pretty quickly something is blocking their calls.
Tim gets super injured early on. I think, a Jack Fenton booby trap (that exclaims that it's a Jack Fenton Booby Trap moments before activating, which should be funny, but isn't when death lasers are being launched at him.). Damian gets captured, and that's when Tim is contacted by Vlad, who is our Atlas stand in for the game, only Tim immediately realizes that this man is sketchy af.
But unfortunately, in order to rescue Damian, Tim has to splice himself with Plasm. Maybe its for fire-wielding, or telekinesis but Tim can't get to wherever Damian is being held and, while torn, splices himself to save Damian.
Damian was kidnapped because his exposure to Lazirus Waters made a Big Daddy think he was a Little Sister, so it brought him back to the Casper Academy, which is where Little Sisters drop their harvests off in the care of William Lancer. Lancer looks after the girls because Maddie Fenton is too busy, but it's against his will despite him caring for them all. He's trapped in the building, can't leave or he dies. He's actually relieved to know that Vlad is still alive and trusts him, because to Lancer he was just a good mayor who was overthrown and the Fentons are the real bad guys, just look what they did to their kids!
This is where the batkids first learn about Danny and Jazz, although they don't meet them until a while after this. Danny actually ends up being the one leaving Plasm out for Tim every time he rescues a Little Sister. (Sidenote, they end up killing people while in Amity. While both do have death counts, the problem with Amity is that they have to use stronger and stronger levels of force to get people to go down, leading them to escalating and killing quite a few).
Lancer points them to communications to get their comms working again, and that area is run by Damon Grey.
At some point after comms are back on, the two learn that Red Hood actually came in after them after hours of no communication and has been captured by Maddie Fenton, who intends to turn him into a Big Daddy.
In late story, it's revealed that Jack Fenton was murdered before the cue even happened, and that the Jack Fenton they'd been communicating with the entire time was an AI assistant created by living Jack to keep his work going. The cue was actually retaliation from Maddie and the Jack AI for murdering Jack.
The story would eventually end with Tim, Damian, and Jason freeing all the Little Sisters along with Danny and Jazz.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
If Maddie and Jack were good parents then Danny wouldn't be Phantom.

Sibling Showdown!!!
Tumblr media
This showdown consists of 64 sibling sets facing off against each other, as well as a few one-off polls of sets who didn’t make the actual bracket but who I wanted to include in some capacity.  Polls will last a week.  Round One of section A will go live on April 16, with section B going live the day after, section C the day after that, and section D the day after that.
Propaganda is allowed!  I just ask that it be kept positive.  Argue for your faves instead of against someone else’s.  Every sibling set who made it in the showdown is there because someone wanted them to be, so keep it kind.
Will the winners be the siblings that love each other the most?  That are most capable of killing other sibling groups with their bare hands?  That have the most sibling swag?  It’s up to you to decide!  You get to choose the manner and parameters you judge each sibling set for.

Danny Phantom's Series Bible
So I was recently reading Danny Phantom's Series Bible via ForeverPhantom's reblog (thank you, hannahmanderr, for originally posting it) and there's some really interesting facts and tidbits I came across. As is said b4, Danny was conceived of as having been called Phantom long before The Accident™, it was a nickname given to him by Sam and Tucker, a dig(?) on how his' being shy, timid saw him become, for lack of a better word, socially undetectable, invisible.
But only a few people know that Danny Phantom is actually Danny Fenton, the shy, average, quiet kid that sat in the back and tried to stay out of trouble. Because of his skittishness and shyness, his friends Tucker and Samantha started calling him “Danny Phantom”. They didn’t mean it to be hurtful… it was all in good fun. And after the accident, it didn’t bother him anymore. Because it ended up being more accurate than even they could have believed.
It also makes it seem that as a human/ghost hybrid Danny (in addition to all of the standard array of abilities specters have, to fly, to shed their solid forms and become intangible, etc) is indeed possessed of the ability to straight up, like, make portals/teleport(?), a la how Vlad in-canon can apparently do, and so cross in-between the realms at will. To be fair, that could just be a case of me reading too much into it, but the exact wording is as follows, that,
Danny received his powers through a scientific experiment gone awry... the dimensional barrier was damaged and Danny - who wasn’t even supposed to be in the lab at the time - was caught in the middle, and essentially trapped between the two worlds. The lab and the experiment were both badly damaged in the process… but Danny wasn’t. He was left with the amazing powers, and the ability to “crossover” from one world to the next at will.
What Do the Fentons Do? What Are Their A c t u a l J o b s?
The Bible works also to answer the question that's been nagging the Phandon for years, i.e., Exactly WTF are the Fentons' occupation? It states that Maddie operates as a theoretical physicist (her real name being Madison and not Madeline, apparently), with Jack in comparison being something of an adrenaline junkie and so working as a military test-pilot, his suit indeed being that of a test pilot, a crash dummy, I.e., his work uniform. Hell, it seems Jack being a test-pilot made it into the series canon, if the Danny Phantom Style Guide is anything to go by. It defines the family company specifically, FentonWorks, as a think-tank/research type company that consults when people are having problems with the paranormal.

Thank you for answering my ask!
I can see Bruce and Maddie meeting because of Science and interestingly enough, Maddie and Jack have an open relationship. I don't know why but I do ( on the flip side Vlad will self-destruct on that revelation )
How do Ra's, Talia, and Bruce himself think about Danny, his powers, and being the Ghost King? And Jack and Maddie who raised him?
Also, I find the thought hilarious if Bruce did have a 4th blood child( I'm counting Dani/Ellie ), it's freaking Marinette from Miraculous Ladybug, and JL, DP, and MLB are all on the same Earth.
Ironically Marinette was conceived the same way, drunken nightstand while in a high brow Gala in Paris with Sabine being a server, and shortly after that she met Tom, fell in live, and he raised her as his daughter.
At least Danny and Marinette can bond over them fighting fruit loops who should get a pet cat.
And the JL wasn't really on the up and up about what's going on in Paris because A) Everything gets fixed in the end and B) Kwami hijinks did a notice me not kind of Harry Potter spell until Constantine or Bruce starts poking around there. And C) Clockwerk may had helped keeping the secret because he owned the Kwami a favor.
Poor Damian once he finds out about that on top of still believing with his entire chest that Bruce + Selina = Dani will forever think that his Father, The Batman, is a Hoe 🤣
OH MY GODS THE CHAOS!!!!
Vlad would be so mad! And he would bitterly be sitting in the corner at a gala in Gotham and Danny would SO rub it into his face like: “oh look at how cool my second DAD is, dont you think so Vlad???” With the smuggest smirk anyone has ever seen on the boy. All the bats would be confused but Jazz (who is also there) is like: “don’t worry about it, Vlad deserves this.” Leaving the Batfam confused because this was Jazz—the voice of reason—Fenton. Then Elle would join in and just be fuckin brutal, “haha, bitch! bet you wish you were him huh?” And vlad storms off to sulk in peace. (Or try to anyway, there is no peace when there are ghost kids about!)
Ra’s would be bitter that the ghost king wasn’t his heir but would ultimately try to obtain Danny as a resource. Talia would be ok with Danny being the ghost king because what better way to have her son be protected than have his half brother be the king of the dead as well as having an obsession dedicated to protecting the people he cares about. Bruce would be devastated that his eldest bio son died before he was able to meet him but would quickly move on when he realizes that it doesn’t change the fact that Danny is his bio son. Ra’s Talia and Bruce all agree that the Fenton’s are very interesting people to say the least.
Tbh, Im not completely into the whole Miraculous x DC x Danny Phantom crossover. But I do vibe with the whole, Danny and Marinette bonding over having to fight crazy adults that need therapy. Also its Wayzz that Clockwork owes a favor to and he just puts Paris in its own little time bubble where time flows normally but the outside world is just getting signals from alternate reality Paris where nothing wins wrong.
Dani/Elle: “HA- your bio-dads a whore!”
Dami: “shut up!”
Danny: “your my clone so he is technically your bio-dad too.”
Danny/Elle: “HA- our bio-dad’s a whore!”
Marinette: “I don’t know how I got into this situation, I just want to draw in PEACE???”
And as said before, there is no peace when there are ghost children about. (Also batkids)
