thinking about how the carbon monoxide detector in my old apartment wouldn’t stop beeping in an “i’m dying and need to be replaced” type of way like a month after i moved in and since it wasn’t the batteries it was the detector itself i just took the batteries out and put it back on the wall without batteries and never told my landlord and when i moved out almost two years later and he did the final walk with me he didn’t even notice

lark and caeru are the same person across different universes despite The Obvious Differences and therefore have the exact same level of intelligence, wisdom, and overall Skill but both carry wildly different d&d stat allocations. caeru has maxed out intelligence and wisdom but like a 5 in everything else. lark also has this except he has a 1 in everything else, a -1 in wisdom, and an equal intelligence stat. lark also beats caeru in chess (he eats the pieces when caeru isn't looking)
