your blog is making me consider journaling even though its something ive struggled to pick up
Your struggle to pick up journaling is a good place to begin journaling from. Buy a note book, get some good pens and and start writing about the struggle. How it feels. Putting the pen to paper is cathartic. It puts the problem out there , outside of you, on the page. It helps you to see where you are with it.
Then move on to some of the things that happened during the day. I'm saying this because the last thing I do before going to bed at night is to journal.
Sometimes I save things up and can hardly wait to pour them out onto the page. This is when something really bad or upsetting has happened and I just cant talk about it with another person.
And, or, just write some details of the day.
If you get stuck, let me know here and I can help walk you it through.
The goal is to get hooked on it so that you have to write.
