Ooh, if we're discussing wild sqh theories I'd like to add mine! The reason why we never find out sqh's real world name is bc it's shang qinghua. And not bc he named the character after himself, but bc he has always been sqh. In pidw he was doing what he the character was supposed to, in svsss he doing what he can to save his life. Why else would he be transmirgated all the way back to his birth? Bc sqh is sqh. Idk if this is making sense Lol
I just mean that there was no one for him to replace. It's not like with shen jiu who had a life and story. There was no "other" sqh. I guess like a self insert? Like "if I lived in this world I would do xyz to influence the plot"? That's why there's no body for him to steal. It was always himself.
I think I understand what you mean! That's actually a really cool theory, and I'm totally on board because that would be a really nice thought especially when it aligns with the fact that why did Shang Qinghua have to go through from birth and not Shen Yuan
It also makes me think of like how Shang Qinghua assumed he would be acting like how he would in PIDW and of course he had to switch gears to survive but it makes me think of like when you think of how yourself will act in a certain scenario but then you're in that scenario and you react TOTALLY DIFFERENT
I think he might've overestimated how he would act when when actually faced with some plot points in svsss and underestimated some other elements, which is pretty interesting to think about!
They are one and the same

A fact: a god loses their divinity only when it is sealed, or when belief in them is lost.
Another fact: Hua Cheng ascended.
He was never banished - he simply abandoned heaven the moment he realized Xie Lian was not there. For many of the gods this is tantamount to a death sentence - to fade into obscurity. Hua Cheng’s survival without followers could be attributed to his ghostly origins, and his own self determination, which could be true but —
What if there was someone who sent a prayer up in remembrance of a small ghost fire who warmed a chill night. What if there was someone who lit incense for a nameless follower with a smiling mask who sacrificed everything to save everyone(someone). The offerings are meager, rare, but sincere - worth more than a million merits from gold.
Hua Cheng may be the Flower Crowned Prince’s most devoted follower. Faith, gratitude, and love, however, transform Xie Lian into Wu Ming’s steadfast believer.

been followin slimes POV of the qsmp since it started but mMY GOOOODDDDD i never expected to fall so in love with it...
I LOVE THE TRADGEDY OF A COMEDIC CHARACTER! so funny so silly, who could ever take him seriously? when the reaction to grief can be so overblown and strange, its hard not to laugh! because wheres the line, really? we're just here to have fun!
i look forward to the day this guy snaps! its gonna be REALLY FUNNY i tell ya hwat!!!
(CREDIT TO A COMIC I REFERENCED UNDER THE CUT)
something about this comic makes me so so emotional, and its so well framed. to discover something by the end of a comic, to follow the same line of thought as a character within a drawing, to either come to the same conclusion, or the dramatic irony of figuring it out first.
it was made by the talented Lynda Barry, and she has a wonderful shop here https://drawnandquarterly.com/books/greatest-marlys/

For dramatic plot reasons, one could say Scar lived because this is not the first time he won.
The first time around he won with a strong alliance but was forced into a 1v1 by those who passed. Sadly he did not emerge victorious from that fight. This time, the secret keeper made sure he was alone and stayed "focused". The gods of this wicked game deliberately kept him isolated and gave him tasks that continued to split him from the rest of the group so he would manipulate his way to the top.
And he did
and he won
and so he lived

The code appearing at the end of the fight really has me thinking again about the theory that the codes are the dead eggs/the federation made the eggs to study respawning and the codes are failed experiments
Like oughhhh if the code had to watch a sibling die while being unable to do anything it would make sense why ghosts/phantoms/mobs spawned immediately. Lashing out at the parents for failing their younger sibling in the only way the code knows how…

I am begging on my knees for new tloz fans who have only played botw, to get themselves an emulator and start playing I take no excuses. Or read the tloz lore books (Hyrule Historia/Encyclopedia) and read the lore of the older games (and ignore the timeline cause it's pointless that will make you more confused 👉👈)
you got two weeks before totk releases go go go!!!!!!! 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥

I have a quick q about Sprite!Mike and PG-
How often does Phone Guy just, gives Mike his phone and repeatedly starts going hello? Because this idea endlessly amuses me.
He might sometimes feel lonely and just call Mike to say hello, and then they would just say hi and hello back and forth until PG hangs up. It's their bonding time, in PG's eyes at least
Though he says multiple hellos everytime he begins to have a conversation with him, or anyone, really - he wanted to make sure the other person is being able to listen and it became a habit to say it over and over until the listener responds
Also i don't think he'd hand Mike his phone, PG would just begin ringing and he would always have to pick up bc in fnaf 2 he's his manager or in another higher position

This accidently turned out really detailed and my hands regret it
Also since these have been doing pretty well, if anyone has any suggestions for a shot from Camp Cretaceous (or the Chaos Theory trailer) they'd like me to draw, hit me up!
