the woobification of the lords is something ill never be able to wrap my head around 😭 its insane to me how people can have such a horrible interpretation of events and characters based off of what we have in the actual game

let me start off by saying that ALL FOUR LORDS DID HORRIBLE THINGS (INCLUDING THE DIMITRESCU DAUGHTERS) !

lady dimitrescu isnt some gentle giant who only hates men and loves women and treats them like queens and she just loves living a quiet life with her daughters, she kills and tortures people 😭😭 she like actively killed her maids and drank their blood 😭 they have a basement that has so much blood in it that it goes up to ethans THIGHS

they are muderous and SADISTIC, including the daughters

the woobfication of the dimitrescu daughters is always the most confusing to me. their faces are literally covered in BLOOD 😭😭 they chase ethan around and stab him will laughing and giggling, cassandra literally calls it a HUNT, it is fun to them and they enjoy it

people always try to frame it as ethan breaking into their homes while they are scared and afraid 😭 i can assure you that nobody is afraid of him at first 😭 they dont think hes an actual threat, thats why they toy with him. and dont act like they were unaware of what he wanted. they were all present at the family meeting with miranda, they were all present when they JARRED rosemary 😭 they know what ethan wants, they know who ethan is, to frame them as "minding their own business" is the most absurd interpreation you could make of them

they were all involved, they all knew what he wanted, and they all HAD what he wanted

you can feel sympathy for lady D, when she cries for her daughters with tears in her eyes, she loved them, they were her family, but you cannot deny the hypocrisy. "how can you kill my daughters for your own!" you have his daughters head in a pickle jar! her daughters werent innocent defenless babies who were scared of big ol ethan stomping around in their house, they have weapons! they wanted to hurt him, and they did, and when he fought back he won

i cannot stress enough that in every single fight, ethan is not the first to strike. he is either backed into a corner where its either his life or theirs, or he is literally being tortured/ chased around, what do you want him to do? these people have pieces of his baby, should he have lied down and died?? 😭

whenever ethan is in a situation where the other person isnt stabbing him in the abdomen 100 times he tries to HELP them 😭 he tries to help absoulute strangers of a village he doesnt even know while he knows his own daughter is missing, even when the stranger is also a jerk to him 😭 he wants allies, he isnt actively trying to make enemys, and before you cry "karl heisenberg!" im getting there...

the thing that bothers me with how people treat donna is that although she isnt the WORST she gets woobfied the MOST imo, like she is the ONLY lord (other than karl but hes a outlier because he wanted ethan to come over so they could make out on his bed) who actively lures ethan in, miss dimitrescus, yeah sure u could say that he trespassed, same with moreau, but donna literally LURES HIM IN with hallucinations of his DEAD WIFE, then OPENS THE DOOR for him and TAKES HIM DOWN THE ELEVATOR

she is literally one of the people who ACTIVELY leads him to where she is

she also uses psychological puzzles , like making ethan perform surgery on a wooden doll of his wife and making him run away from a monster that cries like a baby and calls him "dada" 😭 she did not need to do any of that... like at all 😭 she did it because she wanted to 😭 she is by no means innocent at all

she toyed with him for literally no reason other than her own desire and then ethan doesnt even intentionally kill her. he is in a situation where is his trapped in the house and has to find angie, the doll, to avoid being attacked by dolls with like 100 knives stapled onto them

its only when he defeats angie its revealed that he had actually stabbed DONNA. he didnt even intentionally kill her 😭

then moreau... poor moreau... 😭

moreau in my opinion is one of the more sympathetic lords. whoever he was in his life pre cadou has no influence or impact on his life post cadou, the cadou just wrecked his brain functions

all he is is just mirandas minion at this point, he only wants to please her and doesnt really think about anything else for himself 😭

i dont have much to say about moreau because theres not really many people who woobfiy him or pay him any attention really 😭 though i will say he was very unabashedly evil 😭 he did horrible things, such as eating the fishermen and his experiments with the cadou on the villagers, he did it for mirandas approval but its not a excuse for it, hes still a villian 😭 now we are onto karl.... this guy... the woobification of him is insane 😭 first of all, something i dont see people acknowledge is that he actually HAS killed villagers! no he doesnt just use dead bodies (which btw isnt really a step up 😭 some of u set the bar too low man) the lycan gauntlet that he made ethan run through? yeah, he used that before! he has an entire PA system set up in it! he has lights and huge spikey metal death traps! he did not make all of that just for ethan just to "play appearances" for miranda. there were other people who went through that. and they DIED!

their deceased bodies are still in there! karl is messed up and eccentric 😭 it makes him fun, let him be messed up and evil 😭 and yes, karl used DEAD bodies instead of killing people who were alive, so surely that makes him far less evil right?

WRONG! 😭

HE CONSIDERED USING LIVE BODIES FOR THE SOLDATS 😭

karl really isnt a good person, he has reasons for the things he does, he wants to take down miranda and i dont think hed be creating undead zombies in the first place if it werent for her ruining his life but that isnt justification, its just an explanation for why he does what he does. he has a sympathetic back story and motives but you cant erase what he did, hes a villain! he tries to use a baby as a weapon!!! all 4 of the lords are villains, and instead of making other characters worse to uplift your favorite character that did something bad, you can just accept that the character you like did bad things 😭 they are all fictional, if i like moreau it does not mean i endorse eating fishermen 😭 you can like a character that is flawed, or evil, or did insanely messed up things because its RESIDENT EVIL. they are EVIL! they do bad things! like im sorry! but if your fave has a villains wiki it probably means they did some bad things! 😭

i wish people would be able to enjoy a character without entirely dismissing the bad things they did. its okay to like a character that does bad things, its ok to find them interesting and fun! but you cant deny what actually happens in games to try and make them appear as innocent. you dont have to justify every little thing that they do, just accept them as a whole!

of course this doesnt apply to AUs or just posting for fun. you can change media to be what you want to make it more fun. im going to draw lady dimitrescu treating ethan like a unwanted family pet. does that mean that i think she would really do that in canon? no! she would bite him and then tie him up like a pinata and give her daughters blindfolds and bats!

but people need to be able to recognize that fanon is NOT canon.

this is just addressing people who genuinely believe that those kinds of portrayals of the character is an ACCURATE portrayal, because its not.

rip to rian johnson but star wars sequels would be way better if ben solo was just kinda cowardly and han solo coded so he defected from the jedi and went to be a fun swashbuckling anarchist space cowboy instead

and finn and poe have to find him and try to convince him to come back to the rebellion but hes afraid who he is and what he could become

also instead of luke trying to kill his nephew for NO REASON (so insanely out of character it boils my blood) he just realises after ben dips thats hes not cut out for teaching. and is living on a mandalorian colony as rebellion liason/ambassador with chewie and sometimes lando i guess (din djarin is there) he aids the rebellion (because of course he would fuck that plotline) but he wont stay on the rebel base because he doesnt like all the chosen one clout and mandalorians are very chill and mind their own business

han and leia are still together and play active parts in the rebellion because fuck that plotline too although they do disagree about the ben situation (leia is annoyed and han is understanding) poe and ben childhood friends and for what.

in this au, rey is raised in the empire and is a sith lord but she has doubts and isnt as abjectly disgusting as kylo ren because of course not. (appears slightly too interested in the rebellion when poe is captured and maybe??? possibly lets finn and poe escape but thats up for debate.) rey gets more evil over course of movies before turning to light for plot drama and a satisfying zuko arc.

force awakens timeline

prophecy that a new jedi will rise and take down the dark side. rey and sith lord (dk who but fuck snoke im writing him out) assume it is the missing ben solo (its finn and rey tho fr) and are intent on finding him. movie opens on rey being evil probably and capturing poe. also finn as a character actully needs no real changes hes great. and then next scene space pirate ben solo doing his thing (but without identity revealed so we dont know who he is yet he may go by kylo because funny)

instead of luke poe has a lead on missing almost-jedi before he dipped ben solo and is searching for him on leias orders.(rebellion also believe the prophecy is about him. but nuh uh) torture scene and escape scene doesnt need to change but show reys nuances and how lost she is.

in the interest of narrative poe and finn still crash on tatooine but finn manages to pull poe out of the crash. (finn still gets the jacket at some point because i say so) poe is too injured to fly so they seek out help and and meet ben solo who saves them from pirates or something idk. (but neither know who the other is)

finn and poe convince ben solo to be their pilot still thinking hes a random smuggler named kylo. they get along very well, especially finn and ben. rey by this point is tracking their whereabouts

they end up on that lightsaber planet and ben gets the weird darth vader nightmare and freaks out, (hes afraid of being evil or something idk) poe is getting suspicious now also finn feels the force and takes up the lightsaber. rey comes and finn trys to hold her off. finn get hurt and drops lightsaber. ben is forced to take it up and his identity is revealed as rebel reeforcements led by han and leia arrive and they see him fighting. rey and ben have a weird charged moment (yes i guess i am still making reylo a thing but its reyben now and its woke so shh) and in a dramatic desperate effort he manages to knock her lightsaber away with the force. poe crawls into a plane at somepoint and blows up reys ship. the rebels destroy the stormtroopers but rey captures finn and escapes in a stolen ship.

ben has a oh-shit-i-said-id-never-use-the-force-again related existential crisis which makes him freak out and leaves. a distraught finn-less poe calls him a coward. poe picks up the discarded lightsaber and the jackettm and sadly packs them up. leia tells him about the starkiller and poe volunteers to go on the starkiller and save finn. han and leia have a sweet moment and han decides to go with poe on the suicide mission, chewie goes too.(chewie arrived at somepoint i guess)

mid hostage situation finn blocks reys force attempt and shes shook up. he sees something in her (finn is a beautiful sweetheart) and he trys to appeal to her. she force chokes him and books it out of there. but it is clear she fears him a little. he escapes with mind tricks and runs into han poe and chewie on the deck. finnpoe moment fr. poe gives him his jacket back in order to get the keep it it looks good on you line.

meanwhile ben is back on his ship(i guess its the falcon?) and he thinks about finn and his mom and luke or something.. a dream maybe?? idk something emotional and motivational for his arc. and he goes to a box under the floor in his ship and pulls out a green lightsaber. he turns the ship around.

on the ship poe finn han and chewie are planting the bombs and escaping when they get stopped by stormtroopers ordered by rey. poe is about to be shot by a big droid thing when it is cut in half by ben wow big reveal hes here oooo ah. rey is shot in the shoulder by chewie and angrily orders more stormtroopers. they cant take them all. han sacrifices himself by blowing up the bridge. he tells finn and poe to find luke in the mandolorian colony ben is distraught him and han have an emotional goodbye he tells him to tell leia he’s sorry and that he loves him and he proud of him then he makes chewy get ben out of there and he blows himself up. leia senses it v sad rip man but he had to die to intensify plot drama

rey chases them onto the ice planet and another weird charged moment. mind link established??? this time ben is too angry and grieving though so its not a good match and she wounds him real bad all over hes v scarred now. poe shoots at rey and throws lightsaber at finn. he gets ben onto the ship and finn and rey have the big force awakens show down. finn uses the force v powerful all that jazz the good guys get away. on the ship finn mentions how he felt a connection with rey to poe and claims he sees good in her

movie ends with meeting luke on mandolore. ben is very traumatised wont really speak to finn or poe and avoiding luke. finn returns lukes lightsaber and rey has doubts movie over. movies ends with ominous rey ben mind link

final notes (on first movie and overarching rewrite plans)

finn

finn is the protagonist of this movie so it would be much more character heavy on him them the original. more in depth on his stormtrooper trauma, how he always chooses the people he loves over the cause and his reluctance to join the rebellion. his friendship with poe and the han/leia parallel’s especially. relationships with han and ben important for his character exposition and he plays a key role in supporting both rey and bens character progression. possesses the strong sense of mercy and kindness at the heart of the star wars franchise.

rey

rey is raised in the first empire and does not know anything different. when she meets finn who was able to rebel and escape from the same system she is trapped in she becomes plagued by doubts and projects all of her hatred and resentment onto finn to compensate, but it is clear she fears him. to escape from her doubts she fixates on finding and capturing ben solo imagining him to be a frightening and terrible adversary. however when she meets him they see eachothers minds, and she sees how plagued by doubt and fear he is, how he runs from everything and he sees her too. they connect and develop a strange mutual fascination/understanding. this is put askew by finns appearance at the end of the movie in defence of ben. reys fear of finn increases when she sees the true extent of his power. she fears and hates equally finns strength of character and easy goodness and by extension hates ben for his alliance with finn. she blames finn for “taking” ben from her.

ben solo

kylo ren is a disgusting blight on the star wars names so ben solo is being completely reclaimed by me into a different character because i fucking hate that stupid pretentious eboy. instead ben solo is an incredibly han solo coded character with a heart of gold and deep love and loyalty to his friends and family. his main weakness as a character in this rewrite is his fear and lack of self belief. ben is terrified of being a jedi and of his own power. he fears his own nature and was so afraid he would become his grandfather that he ran from the jedi altogether. ben solo is a runner that wont face his problems, he runs from the jedi and from his parents to avoid failing or becoming something terrible. finn and ben recognise the need to run in eachother (although important distinction finn runs because he doesn’t want to fight for a cause. and ben runs because hes afraid he will be the reason the cause fails) and ultimately encourage eachother to break the cycle and stand their ground (well finn motivated ben in this movie, finns not fixed yet.) Bens arc in these movies is about learning to live with his own nature and fighting for what he believes in despite his fear. also dealing with mommy issues (ben is kind of jealous of poe and leias relationship the son she wanted or something blah blah blah etc) and being a malewife to his murder girlfriend. his job is kind of to support and fight with finn and later rey and help them save the world

finnpoe (will be a gay couple)

their friendship will be front and centre in these movies because they represent duty vs personal loyalty. poe puts the cause above all else and values his own life and personal relationships little. finn on the other hand is disillusioned with establishment cause of stormtrooper trauma and wants to protect himself and others from it. poe is the first person that finn truly bonds with and loves. he puts poe above everything, including being a jedi and the rebellion. this leads to a lot of fighting and discord between finn and poe as finn doesn’t understand how important the rebellion is to poe and poe doesnt get why finn is trying to protect him from it. ultimately though poe teaches finn faith and belief and finn teaches poe to accept love and value himself. (also many hanleia parallels) the two of them are the harbingers of a new age. poe as future leader of the new republic and finn as the jedi messiah or whatever. in terms of romance, im thinking slowburn. baity first movie, kiss at the end of the second and established relationship by the halfway mark of the third.

also when rey eventually joins the light in the beginning she refuses to talk to ben (cause of romantic drama i havent thought of yet but centres around some sort or betrayal in the second movie) or finn (because hes her narrative foil and slow burn best friend forever) so her first friend is poe and she kind of follows him around in her first few months before she eventually bonds with finn 4eva. her poe shadowing has lots of cute friend moments where they fly together and he tries to talk her down about finn and the ben drama but also more importantly it foreshadows her leadership ability and tactical mind as she gives him advice and aids him with the rebellion behind the scenes (also leads to leia taking rey under her wing probably because poe is her surrogate son and mirror) which will eventually lead to her and poe leading the republic together because in my mind rey is a jedi but actively a member of republic government because ben can’t do politics and finn won’t but shes great at it so she’d be a perfect jedi liason and vice president to poe. meanwhile finn and ben lead the jedi. finn as a knight travelling across the galaxy and ben as a teacher. (luke is happy in retirement rn on mandalore but leia is still probably an advisor in the republic because retirement is definitely not for her) and everyone is happy the end. force ghost han solo is clapping.

the thing about ibuki douji is that she is your friend. like once you sit down and have a conversation with her she is very much your friend! but she also is as far on top of the monster-divinity scale you can get so she is also this incarnation of the land being who sees humans as insects because they really are on that comparable scale to her, she shares the same type of mindset that shuten has when it comes to viewing humans as entertainment but unlike shuten who was horrified by the knowledge that she is a monster, ibuki simply took it as a fact of life and thus doesn't mind if she eats someone. she was going to eat guda in heian kyo just because they were a human who underwent so many experiences and didn't look at her in fear, and that made guda interesting in her eyes. it was as simple as "this human is interesting" -> "i like seeing them" -> "i want to consume them". in the same vein, she then HELPS guda in heian kyo defeat limbo just because watching limbo flail about was funny to her, to the point where limbo even gets a debuff in the fight from ibuki laughing at him. she's capricious and whimsical and literally every action she does is dictated by fleeting desire.

but the thing that prevents her from becoming a full on monster, the thing that made ibuki the aspect of shuten that was friends with kintoki as a child, is that shes friendly. shes a people person and she isnt against the idea of getting closer to people.

what held shuten back is ironically ibukis greatest strength, and its why shes an aspect of shuten that shuten herself rejects, the idea that she could have been more intimate alongside humans: shes just like kintoki! kintoki is someone on an equal footing of being a divine monster but his heart primarily lies in humanity, hes compassionate and built himself up by living alonside humans compared to ibuki who sinply lived on top of the mountain. ibuki douji is easily what kintoki COULD have become had he not been raised alongside humans and grown as a human, a powerful divine monster who consumes as they please, operating on nothing more but whims and interest. but that in turn does not mean either of them are horrible monsters just because they are inherently incompatible with humans.

They both just love life too much to ever become monsters, they love people and humans and new experiences and every single part of modern humanity that makes it so much fun! They are too high on the spice of life to ever become fully monstrous, and its why shuten and limbo are "failures" in this respect: shuten was too afraid to take that next step for fear of hurting someone she loves, while limbo as humanitys greatest failure doesn't allow himself to grow, to experience new things, to be fun and have fun living as a human. They are stuck in the past and only now are cautiously taking those first steps to be more than an echo and a grudge.

Ibuki Douji the god is a divine calamity whose very presence beings storms and fear and chaos, but Ibuki Douji herself is your friend!! Your friend who loves hanging out with you!!

raiden and kung lao who work as bounty hunters- raiden who invented basically the taser gloves from lok (legend of korra, these things) and lao who still has his chakram hat-

shang tsung who runs a whole underground crime ring and is still rivals with liu kang, either in business or in action- liu who wants to start a real business and have it be a means to stop crime whereas shang tsung wants to use his business to control the crime and gain more power for himself

tomas who meets alligator "wrestler" kano and maybe alligator caretaker syzoth who makes sure their huge pet alligator is in good enough condition to "fight" with kano

the three of them getting along and tomas traveling with them for a short while, becoming their announcer of sorts

madam bo's saloon being the in-between spot for all of them to meet up together-

i know that dream is the obvious choice for the elegant and ancient vampire lord™️, but i think hob deserves a bit of sexy evildoing too. especially in floor length robes. and with claws for nails. and goblets full of blood. you get the gist

but a dream who gets captured by a group of handsy and rogueish vampires. they wrestle him back to their lords castle where they all reside and after preparing him for dinner (dressing him in concubines wear), they wrangle him into the dining room and try to have a feast. key word though is try, because he rips out his silver earrings and shoves them in the eye sockets of one of the vampires trying to get to him. and the others are so shocked that he actually did something to fight back (most of the others try and fail and they all laugh at them, but dream actually hurt one of them) that he flees further into the castle. no one is too worried about catching him because they know he can’t escape, but dream finds himself getting deeper and deeper into the maze of the castle walls

and eventually he bursts into a large room clearly intended for someone receiving an audience, except the only other person there is hob— the sire of the… unprofessional and mediocre band of vampire bandits (that really only succeed because vampires are inherently more dangerous than humans) and the lord of the castle. he of course knows what’s happened, he could hear from the other side that dreams made quite the effort of blinding one of his own, but hob is more impressed than anything else. he lets dream keep his life because of that

dreams life isn’t really living, though. he’s kept in chambers so poor they may as well be a luxury dungeon (not the fun kind), and only gets brought out eventually so that he can service their lord. except he’s bitey and defensive and eventually, they decide that the only way dream will be able to serve as a proper whore is if he’s sedated— which hob immediately shuts down because he doesn’t want to fuck someone who can’t even tell him how good his cock is. later, again, they instead try giving dream an aphrodisiac, which sort of works; they fuck, but only under the terms that hob sits in a chair with his hands tied and he doesn’t get to touch dream while he gets off bounding in his lap until the effects wear off. the third time though, hob finally gets what he wants, and gets to be in charge

Omg Hob as a cringefail vampire Lord is actually such a vibe?? He's living in this castle with a bunch of immortal bloodthirsty frat dudes and it SUCKS (haha). Dream is the most interesting thing that's happened in a loooong time.

And tbh within a little while, Dream is bored too!! His chamber/dungeon is boring, the vampire frat bros are boring, the only thing that isn't boring is Hob and his very large cock. Ultimately, Dream figures that Hob probably isnt going to kill and eat him (because he's interesting and fuckable). So he stops being scared and starts being mostly horny about the vampire lord and his dick. Its all very well bouncing on it, but Dream is kind of interested in seeing that vampire super strength in action.

He makes Hob promise to take a small dose of the sedative, which won't work as much as it would as a human but will keep him reasonably docile. He also makes Hob promise to send the annoying laser vampires away. Hob agrees. He definitely doesn't want to eat Dream. If anything, he wants to turn him. But that's something to discuss later. He really, really wants to fuck Dream properly and bruise up all that amazing pale skin.

They do it on the red carpeted floor of the audience chamber - Hob says that there's no point in using a bed, since he'll only break it. Dream soon discovers that Hob wasn't just bragging. His strength is almost scary, despite the sedative. When he bends Dream in half, he's a tiny bit afraid that his spine might snap. But he's just on the right side of pain and roughness, and he opens Dream up extremely thoroughly. In fact he plunges his whole hand into his little clenching hole until Dream is screaming, coming explosively and almost blacking out. When he finally plunges his cock inside Dream’s trembling body, Dream cums dry just from feeling so full.

im kinda curious abt what each universes Sonic would be if Sonic didnt shatter the prism and actually did exist in each universe

heres my take on it!

(No drawings cuz lazy rn, may design some in the future tho)

New Yolk City Sonic:

His name would be Renegade Blur and would take on Sonic's more rebellious personality trait

Blur would work with the rebels and find ways to destroy the Chaos Council

He's not very careful all the time, sometimes a lil bit unlikable but has a golden heart

Has not met Nine - if he were to, he would not really be a huge fan of him

Good close buddies with Knux and Rebel

The two and Blur don't see eye to eye sometimes, but they know he's loyal in his core and can count on him when they depend on him

Is very much aware of his own speed - sometimes he gets too overconfident about how fast he is, and Knux has to humble him occasionally

Hes just a goofy goblin who has no sense of his own mortality

His name is Quill and would take on Sonic's more nervous/defeated tendencies

He would be allies with Prim, Gnarly, Mangey, and Hangry, but in secret would hang out with Thorn to find ways to preserve the forest

Thorn terrifies him, but he respects her and will gladly follow her lead

Loves interacting with animals

As much as he loves being with Thorn, Quill does have to help his friends up above the forest survive

The group trusts Quill the most to retrieve berries and food - Quill finds food for them while Thorn is away, and if Thorn finds him taking food, he is usually able to talk his way out of getting annhilated

He is terrified of being abandoned by his friends

Isn't aware of his own speed, he is a little bit clumsy and will trip over things in the forest so he just doesn't run too fast

Mangey is his bestie and the two vibe together well

If Quill were to meet Sonic somehow, they would get along swimmingly, Quill would be immediately friendly, and if theres any small disagreement between him and Sonic he would feel as if Sonic hates him forever, until Sonic confirms that he doesnt hate Quill and makes him feel better

No Place Sonic:

His name would be Aklesh and would represent Sonic's laid back nature

He would be a part of Captain Dread's crew

Unlike Sonic, Aklesh is not afraid of water, and also loves routine

Unlike the rest of Dread's crew, he is perfectly content with a lazy life at sea, not searching for anything important and throwing parties every day

That doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy being a swashbuckling pirate once in a while, he doesnt hate change in routine, he is just content with living every day the same

Aklesh and the rest of the crew get along swell, he is good friends with Dread and Sails

Somehow isnt aware of his own speed - he's on a small boat all the time and doesn't have any need to run fast

If Aklesh and Sonic were to meet somehow, they would get along pretty well - Sonic would get sick of his constant routine tho, but if Sonic were to encourage Aklesh to fight his enemies, Aklesh would prove to Sonic that he is more fun than he realized

fights with aaravos dont happen often, but when they do they can get nasty

he can get petty sometimes, and is also very stubborn. it can be hard to change his mind, and he can sometimes get offended, thinking that u dont trust him or that u think hes incapable

it will usually start off as something small, like for example ur worried ab him overworking himself

aaravos will jump to conclusions and blow it out of proportion, he'll think that ur losing faith in him and that ur going to leave him

tbh hes his own worst enemy cuz his fear of losing u just makes him act nasty and cruel during fights which only pushes u away

during the heat of the moment, aaravos might say some things he doesnt mean

he can be pretty scary when angry, hes like a cornered animal and gets defensive over anything

afterwards, he will feel esp bad

if he made u cry, the guilt will be eating at him for hours

aaravos will sit silently beside u and be going over what to say, but when he opens his mouth he just gets really anxious. after fights and when ur really upset with him are one of the only times u will ever see him unsure, normally hes always so calculating and put together but he is not good at apologizing

he will try his hardest to apologize tho

hes a firm believer of the "dont go to sleep angry" rule and will talk to u as soon as hes calm

once aaravos isnt angry, hes pretty levelheaded and mature when communicating ab an argument u two had

but only if he was in the wrong

if U were wrong, he will pout and be bratty ab it

hes too clingy to ignore u, but will literally be hugging u cuz hes scared u'll leave while pouting and side eying u while saying hes angry (he isnt, hes just a little bitch)

if he was wrong, he'll dote on u and be very sweet and gentle for the next few days

the worst thing u can do is ignore him, aaravos loves attention, ESPECIALLY ur attention and u ignoring him lets him know that he fucked up bad

if u were wrong, he will want to be pampered and will wait for u to apologize on ur own time

depending on whether or not ur a hot-headed person, arguments can last for as short as a few minutes to lasting a few days of the both of u being petty

after any argument, no matter how small or who was right or wrong, aaravos always ends up being clingy and needy

hes afraid u'll leave, he doesnt want to be alone again and doesnt want to lose u

however he will poke fun at u cuz hes just like that 🙄

Ok finished The Boy and The Heron. And I have Thoughts.

THE THEMES!!!! THE SYMBOLISM!!!! THE INEVITABLE MARCH OF TIME BUT WE STILL GO ON. THE "IMPERFECT WORLD TAINTED WITH MALICE" "WORLD FULL OF CHAOS AND FIRE" "PURE VS IMPURE" AHHHHHHHHH

ITS ABOUT GRIEF!!! ITS ABOUT HIW MAHITO LEARNS TO NAVIGATE A WORLD WITHOUT HIS MOTHER AND HIM ACCEPTING NATSUKO AS HIS MOTHER AND THE WAY ITS DONE IS SO GRACEFUL. He starts completely impartial to her. Besides the fact that Natsuko looks like his mother, Mahito is polite but cold to her. And then Natsuko gets "taken". And Mahito decides to go save her, not for himself but for his FATHER!!! (On a side note here, I love how good of a father Mahito has. He's really trying his best here, he dropped everything to look for them and was 110% ready to fight God.) And once Mahito finally gets to her its this beautiful scene of him calling out to her for her to come home with him and hee refusing and Mahito going from calling out "NATSUKO" to "MOTHER"!!!! HE CAN'T AFFORD TO LOSE ANOTHER MOTHER AND HE MIGHT HAVE FAILED THE FIRST TIME BUT HE WON'T THIS TIME AND AHHHHH!!!!

My brain will not shut up about the one scene where the heron tells Mahito that he can't fix the hole that Mahito made in his beak that's preventing him from transforming. It has to be the one who did the damage that fixes it. It has to be Mahito who fixes it. Do you see where I'm going here. How, as hard as you try, damage has been done and sometimes the damage has to be repaired by the cause.

THE REAL WORLD ATTACHMENT THAT HAYAO MIYAZAKI HAS TO THIS FILM. HE IS THE GREAT GRAND UNCLE. Mahito is super duper fucking unhinged (affectionate). The hospital is on fire, he runs against the crowd to get to his mother. The kids at his new school make fun of him. Next scene has no audio but some cheerful music and is of just Mahito fucking throwing hands. And then Mahito is still angry and full of malice afterwards that he just. Takes a rock and bangs it against his head. Mahito meets the grey heron and he decides that he's gonna kill it. He makes his won bow and arrow. He uses the herons own feather for the arrow. He also reflects his name perfectly. "Mahito" meaning "sincere one". He just says whatever the fuck he's thinking. He does not pull punches.

The book. "How Do You Live?" I Will Be Thinking About This Book So Much. (She left him a book, she left him a book about how to live because she knew that she wouldn't be there to watch him learn how to live but she still wanted to teach him how to live even if it was just beyond the grave through a book)

ngl I've been sitting on a lot of this for a while and now that the brainrot has come to consume me once again, I have to inflict them upon you too because this is all your fault <3

woe, htbf winter headcanosn be upon ye

They don't take as many jobs in the winter because traveling in bad weather sucks which leaves more room for lazy days where none of them have any plans other than eating together and enjoying their company

the other 3 use the time to teach touya more skills or practice old ones like knitting/sewing, smaller woodworking projects that can be done indoors (not that touya or akito mind being outside in cold weather), or touya reads his favorite mystery books out loud to them and he lives how they speculate the ending or the twist all the while he knows exactly whats going to happen since he's read it before

Touya makes himself a sweater and it's awkwardly shaped and definitely has some missing stitches in some places but he made it with materials he bought with money earned and it's all his and he's proud of it

An and Kohane cried

All of the years touya spent his winters looked up in the castle, he thought he didn't mind the cold weather when really he was just overall unable to feel the warmth that he was missing, that even now, when he had literal ice magic and is physically cold all the time due to his naturally lower body temperature, he's never felt warmer

Sobs. Anyways

Touya has seen snow and walked in it before but he's never been allowed to play in the snow

After the first big snow that sticks to the ground, akianhane plan a massive attack on their training field, they pretend theyre going to train touya during prime ice season but SIKE they have a snow fight: a full battle field built up with pre-built walls and snowballs ready to attack

They prepared ahead of time because they thought touya might have a natural advantage but he was too nervous to actually use his magic with intent to fight his family so he gets his ass kicked

they have so much fun and anhane get so cold that they get sick after and the boys have to nurse them back to health. idiots

speaking of training, touya has been using the colder temps to experiment more with what he can create and how he can create things to use to his advantage

On clearer days he tries to practice making snow the same way he did at his failed execution (insert processing trauma here) but he hasnt been able to do it. most of the time he accidentally shoots a bunch of chunks of ice in the sky or makes hail but not snow-like crystals

Somehow someone suggests trying to get touyas adrenaline running because hes only been capable of big moves like that when tensions were high (escaping guards and escaping death)

They figure if they can elicit (a healthy amount of) fear from him, he can learn how to better act on instinct and not overthink it

Out in the training field, the other 3 take turns “fighting” touya with their magic to see if that can get something out of him (insert cool fights and banter here)

When that doesn't work, they take a break lying in the snow and talk about what scares them (insert emotional connection and vulnerabilities here)

They figure out touyas most “normal” fear is heights, so naturally Kohane lifts them all however high in the air so that they can see above the surrounding treetops. Touya is CLINGING to akito but not quite fearing for his life, just scared enough because he's not actually afraid of Kohane dropping them and his trust in An and Akito to intervene if something goes wrong is too strong

But theyre like NO you have to trust YOURSELF

Kohane says "I'm gonna drop us if you dont make it snow right now and itll be all your fault

yeah right, that's a bluff, Touya's confident

She shakes the platform a bit so the edges start crumbling to the ground and he feels that fight flight or freeze instinct come in (an and akito are also freaked out now) shes not kidding (but she probably is) (but what if she isnt)

she drops the platform barely a few centimeters and touya reaches an arm out and tries

Ummm he tries a bit too well and he sends a burst of magic up high and it shimmers down as snow. He did it!

Kohane brings them down slowly and once on the ground he tries to remember what it felt like and does it again but he didn't realize how low he felt due to the adrenaline and feels faint

the other 3 walk him home and keep telling him how proud they and what a good job he did

important to note that they never make him feel like he's burdening them with having to carry him home once he starts feeling sleepy or taking so much time to train him gradually even though touya thinks that he should be somewhat sorry for passing out on them again, if he apologized they would just yell at him

he falls asleep on Akito's back and wakes up under five blankets and the fireplace burning with dry clothes on and Akito sleeping on top of him

he has just enough strength to reach for the water on their bedside table and then he passes out again

next time he wakes up, its the next morning and he is absolutely dying of too many blankets, they went overboard with trying to warm him up and now he's too warm

he rolls out of bed without disturbing the others and carries on his morning with coffee and reading until the others wake :)

is touya able to manipulate snow and/or any frozen water or is he just able to create it and to what extent is he able to precisely create his ice?

I also have questions about the mechanics of Kohane's magic because the argument can be made that ice is technically a mineral and therefore a part of the earth? I don't mean to be annoying but I am genuinely interested in the limitations of their magic abilities.

As far as like, winter holidays go, is there something like a celebration where they could exchange gifts?

Assuming the vsingers are gods, would their “birthdays” or anniversaries be considered holidays? Like is August 31st the most holy day of the year

Another unrelated question, what is the situation of Akitos runaway sister? because in my head, I have the rough idea of a plot where Mizuki and Touya become unlikely bestest best friends for life and accidentally find her and attempt to reunite her with akito which I think adds another interesting and unique family dynamic to this series full of interesting and unique family dynamics

Later on once he has way more control he can shatter natural ice, or fling it in a direction, but he couldn’t force it into a shape or make it float in the air. He can’t do anything to snow. I suppose technically he could bc snow IS ice, but the laws of nature are irrelevant to the laws of ME. If he concentrates hard enough he could make almost anything out of his own ice, but sharper edges are easier than curves.

She can’t pick and choose btwn minerals and the components of the earth that she moves. It’s sort of just an all or nothing grab at whatever area she chooses. She can manipulate chunks of rock like a cliff face, but not in large areas. She can’t use ice. And bold of u to assume I thought these through while writing.

Once again, this guy likes to create chaos in his environment especially if he's bored or feels wronged

Hes not someone you want to make an enemy of, he's the type to tell all of your personal business and talk a lot of shit about his enemies/people that he feels betrayed by. He has a really childish way of reacting to betrayal, the type of guy that may leak information about a nemesis on like a private Instagram account.

He can be very petty and revengeful, the type to participate in tit for tat games with an enemy.

Ps. I keep referring to people he dislikes as intense things like enemy and nemesis, so Lee Know may hold onto strong feelings of disdain for ppl. He doesnt get over his hate for certain ppl and may go out of his way to show how much he despises his opposition

He has lazy tendencies, like not wanting to clean up after himself and he may be one of the members on the group that has to be constantly told to clean up better or to help contribute to the cleaning of the dorms(You guys know how easy it is to get into arguments about cleanliness and he may get into a lot of vocal fights about this issue)

He's quite an emotionally unstable person, he can randomly start crying about the smallest things or even have a cold, impassive emotional approach to things he maybe should feel more for

He also can be emotionally manipulative with ppl, using sadness and depression to make ppl pity him and want to help him

He can be a selfish and self centered guy, very possessive of his things as well and doesn't like to share. (Reminds me of a kid at a play date that makes a little girl cry because he snatched his toy out of her hand, like "this is mine, go get your own")

He has unresolved mommy issues that creates problems for him now and in the future

He can be a temperamental drunk, hes the type to get shit faced and start fights with ppl or be antagonistic

He doesnt care much about politics or world issues, not very up to date on things happening even in his own country

He can play mind games with lovers, making them think that hes looking to get married to them and settle down, but hes really is just looking for fun, temporary paradise. He may indulge in sex with many different ppl, I see foreigners as well, but once hes done then he moves on

He's a guy that's very intune with his dark side, dark thoughts so hes not afraid to face the deep, depressive side of life. Like, you can tell him about the most traumatic thing that's ever happened to you and he wouldn't be surprised, or like the type to walk on egg shells around you, he would be mature and deep with talking about these types of dark things. Won't shy away or feel burdened

Hes a really authentic guy, what you guys see on camera is the real Lee know, he may even be the type to lowkey tell fans when hes in a relationship. Like, if fans would ask him to marry them he would reply "that opportunity is taken" and say something sly of that sort "jokingly". And fans might use that as a shipping tool with another member, "of course he's talking about his husband Han" but in reality hes LITERALLY telling you guys hes taken.

I also see that, fans or just ppl in general try to take a lot of what lee know says as jokes (especially if it's too dark and doesn't fit the idol image they have for him) but he really means what he says. Let's just say, rarely anything said by him is just a joke so pay more attention to what he says bc theres truth in his words (That's probably why he rarely does solo vlives or they just dont last too long, company rather he doesnt speak too much truth)

Hes a very goal oriented guy, he knows where he wants to go/be in life and isnt letting anyone get in between him and his bag. He probably has plans for success whether or not hes in Stray kids

He may be a great cook or baker, he started like baking from a therapeutic sense, and now he may have a good relationship with food and a kitchen. I sense hes a better baker than anything, makes really good pastries

As a lover, hes spontaneous and wild. Hes definitely a good time and can feel compelled to get up to all kinds of crazy adventures with his lover. In committed relationships, he can provide stability and doesnt run away when things get hard. Also, hes a charming, chivalrous guy and gives his partner his full attention, may stare at them a lot but it's not too creepy, it generally makes his partners feel like hes into them.

personality

his personality is eh bad at best. He will be very rude to any one (Incudling people of higher power), if said person ever happen to insult or question his work. Depending on the person he is arguing with he is willing to fight despite being clearly weaker (When i mean depending i mean mostly anyone that akuma knows wouldent behead him the moment he shoves/push).

When he isnnt rude to people you can tell his ego is deeper then hell it’s self as . Even if the other person is better then him. He still finds way to be better in a small way or a big way!.

But also his ego can easily be broken so if he even assume you insulting him get ready to be yelled at and insulted.

Like some demons he can and will cry but you need to do certain things to make him do so!.

For example any higher ups then him calling him useless,Good for nothing,failure,Waste of a life,disgrace or anything related to it. He will cry and even try to insult you back but at that point he is going flee so dont expect to hear back from him for a long while! (beside muzan, akuma is too afraid to ignore muzan commands to meet him face to face)

Akuma also stubborn, very stubborn. But he isnt that dumb if he knows he going to lose a fight he will spare the embrassment of losing my fleeing. He will hold grudges until he feel like he got his justice on said person, you hardly will see a moment of akuma being a nice to a another demon (Cause in his mind anything of kindness is weakness).

But in the rare chances you do, you can tell he is trying to be nice to said person (usally friends or preferred person) by attempting to behave and control his anger near then and wont be as loud when arguing with said person, And MAYBE allow to be insulted sightly (But just be aware, some insults can hurt more than others and will/can worry your friendship with said person)

And in some cases if he trusts you enough to not abuse/backstab his weakness, he will be more weak towards said lucky person for example, He will show more emotion beside anger.he come for you for advice or opinions on matters he doesnt care/ doesnt understand well enough to really take time to consider. Treat him how he wants to be treated and You have a semi asshole demon as a friend.

Also of course like any demon he has fears.. He is afraid of dying weak and pathic, failling to do something,dying,being backed stab by anyone he trusts and being hurt badly by his food (which is why he targets certain people.)He targets new/hurt demon slayers or unattend childern

Also for fun i tell yall how you can embarrassed akuma, calling out his bluffs,saying something he didnt expected (Doesnt even need to be nsfw, his mind will need to restart and figure out how to respond),showing akuma that he can do a certain thing better than him, copying his amount of any emotion,suffering any consequences in pubic,getting him off guard (50/50 chance of him yellings at you or just make him embarrassed), failing at doing something infront of someone (ex hunting a demon slayer and they got away/ managed to fight akuma away from them as somone same or higher rank watches him fail)

The blood demon art is self pretty much affects swordsmen who are weaker and ones that second think of beheading akuma but it has hard time effecting harder opponents only at most surprise them at best and the small amount of time akuma healing is speed up he will lose some energy

Mimcking Waves

This blood demon art allows akuma to mimck voices of people he ate (ex man,woman,child) and is usally used to lure unsuspecting weak swordsmen or folks who happen to hear the voices of the distress kid,man or woman nearby

The weakness of mimicking waves is the unpredictable chance of attracting strong swordsmen towards the voices he mimcks and making akuma easy to locate in busy areas as if akuma panics when mimicking you can hear the voice breaking and cracking out of character of a preassumed man,woman or child

Water hideaways

The blood demon art is a combtion of offense and defense, it has ability to manifest a water puddle it allows travel underground hence allowing Akuma to escape or heal underground Additionally, the emergence of betta fishes from the puddle to defend and attack nearby threats

Water hideaways weakness

The Water hideaways weaknness is that The betta fishes themselves are easily defeated if put in enough effort Furthermore, the energy-draining nature of maintaining the water puddle limits its duration, making it suitable only for life-or-death scenarios.

Additionally, Akuma's need to surface at random intervals when the betta fishes are being defeated easily and akumas needed to take charge and level out the field making them vulnerable during these moment .

Aqua Blades

This blood demon art allows akuma to solidify summoud water making them into blades These blades can be controlled if akumas pays attention to the blades form

Aqua Blades weakness

The Aqua Blades weakness is it is needed get close to the swordsmen which has many risk and depending on the opponent it will put them themselves in a vulnerable position. And it has the increases the likelihood of being counterattacked or overpowered by opponents who may have superior strength or weaponry.

yess!! i like to think that Q’s kingdom were very oppressed by Schlatt and his supporters and were afraid to fight back but Sam led the revolution and so they appointed him king - now their kingdom is a lot more happy and the people are fairly close to their king because he wasnt raised as royalty so while he does a lot to take his leadership role seriously hes also seen actively interacting with citizens and exploring the kingdom!

as for wilburs kingdom- his family doesnt know much about the little man like kristin does charity work and definitely raised wil and tommy to know they are privileged but the chances of seeing them roaming the town isnt as likely. Tommy is the only one in the family who actively has lower class friends that he hangs out w in the kingdom and he usually disguises himself/doesnt dress as formal because otherwise he feels like he sticks out like a sore thumb.

wilbur is very friendly w the staff in the castle but he doesnt really hang out w anyone but sally and a few other random people from noble families (havent quite decided who else will be nobles i know eret will and maybe some others) He will sometimes chat with niki in the kitchen but he doesnt reallt hang out with her outside of when shes working.

I think that when he gets to know Quackity it’ll help him learn more about the lower class and how some people are treated unfairly in the system- it might make him a better king even :3

i’m curious how isshin views ichigos iterations in their respective universe, is his relationship with an iteration like akira or shiba ichigo much more strained? same applies with other characters like keigo, mizuiro, etc or the karakura gang (or just any bleach character in the respective universe)

(also you don’t have to feel the need refrain from posting about ichiverse, the au is really cool and hearing more about it would be nice ^^)

OOOH THISBIS A FUN ONE yeah akira and his isshin arent on good terms at the moment like akira giving him the silent treatment bc he just found out isshin was a shinigami prior to the multiverse shenanigans and feeling a bit betrayed from it. he is on decent terms with other classmates but he’s a bit more distant even though ppl try to make friends with him. he’s on better terms with chad though its not as close as canon bc akira doesnt want to involve people and bc he feels like he has to be the strongest to protect

shiba ichigo its also tense bc he’s like wow you let me almost get executed just to draw out aizen thanks dad. like shiba ichigo isnt the type to hold grudges he’s willing to move past it but a part of him is just gobsmacked and he doesn’t know how he feels about it, like resentment and such. isshin is trying to make it up to ichigo bc he realized how he fucked up but its still a little strained where isshin tries to get ichigo to train with him as a bonding session and ichigo sort of ignores him. he’s more friendly with rukia as a big brother and has his rivalry with renji and his really awkward relationship with jushiro

go and tokage’s relationship with isshin are relatively the same where it’s tragic bc both of them are dead, where tokage died alongside masaki and go died and his rukia couldnt save him. go doesn’t remember isshin but tokage does and does want to approach his family but is afraid to bc he feels like he recognizes himself anymore and he’s afraid of rejection. isshin in both cases absolutely feels guilt over what happened and is very conflicted over his approach in parenting. i’d like to think both cases its a bit of a wake up call for isshin to be more open about spirits to not have another death. isshin also would never reject either go or tokage, he might be a little apprehensive and suspicious but he eases up fast. go has no friends he just has aizen as a weird dad but tokage joins up with nel’s crew and they have their own adventures

mirai is just isolated in general bc he became a workaholic who just fights a lot they just chuck him at things so he barely talks to anyone except rukia but only bc shes his captain. people are actively trying to ban him from soul society so he can go home. he’s like a boot licker except he thinks that he has to lick the boot instead of simply saying no thanks i would rather eat this chocolate cake. honestly is kind of a loser most pathetic ichigo by far
