Drawing upon the portrayal of Wisdom extant in Proverbs 8...and Job 28...the author [of the Book of Wisdom] gives her new status as a hypostasis of God: one who has assumed the attributes proper to God and whose knowledge of God is so extensive that, to all intents and purposes, she is of one substance with God... The Spirit of God [moves] upon the face of the waters in Genesis. The Divine Masculine is passive and uncreative until the movement of the Divine Feminine Wisdom gets to work. Wisdom says: "Wisdom is more mobile than any motion; because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things"... Philo describes Wisdom as mother and nurse of the All. By means of Sophia, God created the world.

Top 5 passages in the Catholic Bible that aren't in the Protestant Bible
Your strength is not in numbers, nor does Your power depend upon stalwart men; but You are the God of the lowly, the helper of the oppressed, the supporter of the weak, the protector of the forsaken, the Savior of those without hope.
The Book of Judith (9:11)
For God formed man to be imperishable; the image of His own nature He made us. But by the envy of the devil, death entered the world, and they who are allied with him experience it.
The Book of the Wisdom of Solomon (2:23-24)
The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if to others, indeed, they seem punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of Himself. As gold in a furnace, He proved them, and as sacrificial offerings He took them to Himself.
The Book of the Wisdom of Solomon (3:1-6)
May God do good to you and remember His covenant with His faithful servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, give to all of you a heart to worship Him and to do His will wholeheartedly and with a willing spirit, open your heart to His law and commandments and grant you peace, hear your prayers, and be reconciled to you, and never forsake you in time of adversity. Even now we are praying for you here.
The Second Book of Maccabees (1:2-6)
You cannot plumb the depths of the human heart or grasp the workings of the human mind; how then can you fathom God, who has made all these things, discern His mind, and understand His plan? No, my brothers, do not anger the Lord our God.
The Book of Judith (8:14)

“Moved and delighted by the line of the Book of Wisdom about ships (14:1–7), especially the one “(...) so that even if a man lacks skill he may put to sea.” Profound implications, especially for me at this moment. The necessity of risk and its place in the context of Providence and wisdom. A desire for gain plans the vessel (not necessarily reproved here); wisdom builds it; Providence guides it; and the navigator needs not long experience but trust and good sense.”
- Thomas Merton in his journal from October 10-13th, 1960, IV.57.
