The originals really should've been obsessed with Bonnie. The way Bennett witches were wrapped up in everything, they most likely knew several of her ancestors over the centuries. Damon too should've come to mystic falls seeking Bonnie out, especially with the somergraham chemistry it could've been really interesting

Bonnie and Rebekah

TVD writers not giving us Bonnie and Rebekah moments when they tried to make Rebekah friends with Elena and Caroline at different points is so irritating. Especially when they made it known that Elena and Caroline didn’t like Rebekah. They even gave her a love storyline with Matt but couldn’t give us bonbekah moments when Esther and Ayana were best friends. 😑

• Rebekah giving Bonnie flashback stories of her time with Ayana while they bonded overtime was very much needed; But we got boring frenemy moments between Elena and Rebekah or Rebekah and Caroline instead when we could have gotten something authentic with Bonbekah.

• And I don’t wanna hear that “Bonnie would never or why would Bonnie wanna be around a Mikealson” bs bc the same could be said for the other girls and Matt. So why try to single out Bonnie? Bonnie had no reason to dislike Rebekah but it’s just assumed she did bc Rebekah’s a mikealson. Rebekah had no reason to dislike Bonnie either and it was never stated how they felt about each other so to assume that they would just automatically hate each other bc all the drama around them is foolish.

Hi! I would love to hear why you think Klaus and Bonnie would be a compatible or at least fascinating match :) I can tell you're going to turn me into a Klonnie shipper even though the last thing I need in my life is another doomed OTP!!

Hey :D I love a good doomed ship it makes the fandom more interesting especially in terms of creativity tbh.

Bonnie had proven herself to be just as morally corrupt as other characters as needed. Sure, it wasn’t to the extreme of others but it existed especially if her friends were threatened. That type of loyalty and strength would be what Klaus would like because of how possessive and selfish he is.

There’s Bennett-Mikaelson connections through the lore of TVD. Ayana was Esther’s mentor. Abby entombed Mikael. Then in present there’s Esther prasing Bonnie for being the one to fight Klaus. Elijah recruited Bonnie to do it. Both Bonnie and Klaus have parental struggles on both sides. Klaus is more forefront than Bonnie’s but it exists. Tagging my friends content here :).

Klaus was introduced with an affinity for witches (Gloria, Maddox, Greta..)it was just dropped after well you know ;). But in a sibling light I could see both Rebekah and Kol taking a liking to Bonnie. Rebekah wanted that normal highschool experience and Kol was formerly a witch. We got a little bit of Kennett moments in s4 but that was dropped. Bonnie is the only TVD character to never have her own side friend out the group.

Narratively TVD would’ve just had to work with their few key points to make Klonnie a slow burn ship from s2-4 tbh. Bonnie kept getting the short-stick. Season 3 she got cheated on, her mother abandoned again, she had all the reasons to distant herself from her friends and end up in someone’s darker arms. The Mikaelson Ball ep Esther is leeching off Bonnie and her bloodline yet Bonnie is no where to be found… huh… Bonnie doesn’t get enough in universe credit for her actions because she has not only nearly killed Klaus she has saved his life(and everyone else’s.)

Season 4 Bonnie was dipping into a darker side with Expression and she blindly trusted Shane just to learn magic. It would be another moment for Klaus to try and get in her good graces. Klaus would have to open up emotionally for Bonnie to sympathize with him. I think they would challenge each other. Bonnie is one of the female characters who can fight back to people who are trying to harm her in a way Elena or Caroline can’t tbh.

Bonnie wasn’t just any witch either she was a Bennett which her family is responsible for nearly everything in TVD. I don’t think Klaus would’ve suddenly became a “Disney prince” type of BF by any means but I could see the relationship working. Klaus is still an elitist bastard with years of knowledge Bonnie would want. Bonnie is willing to give that loyalty to anyone who is good to her. Cami is seen as good and she even falls for Klaus lmao.

Last point people only play morality clauses with Bonnie because the series does. By the end of TVD Bonnie considers Damon not Elena or Caroline or Matt her bestfriend. That should say enough about what Bonnie would allow but….The writers and fans will argue that Bonnie doesn’t deserve to be paired up with toxic men or women but TVD never introduced anyone that was “morally good” by our world standards. Even Enzo physically harmed Bonnie pre-relationship. The other leads are white and never held to the same standards. Elena said it was Stefan until it wasn’t. Caroline said no to Klaus until she didn’t. Hayley’s arc includes with her fucking Klaus and dating Elijah… the list could continue.

It’s a mutual friendship. Bonnie teaches Rebekah how to fit in with this time period and catch her up on all the history that she’s missed. They watch a movie together every day after school. They take turns between a documentary on a subject that Bonnie feels Rebekah needs to know and whatever films that Bonnie feels are relevant in pop culture. Friendship is a two way street. They’d be the best sister-in-laws.

The longer Bonbekah hang out and get into trouble the more irritating and nerve wrecking it becomes for Klaus. He hates the Bennett witch but he’s distracted by her sleeping over and walking around in tiny shorts! Klaus hears giggling at 2am and SWEARS its about him! According to Klaus, Bonnie puts on sweet floral perfume before bed to tempt him. Rubbing her legs with lotion is a sexual performance. Licking ice cream and her lips after? A ploy to get his attention! He will not be fooled by a young Bennett witch!

summary:

She’d been free. Freed from a conscience she couldn’t afford to give up again. Free from the grief she’d never actually wanted to abandon, not until the choice was taken from her. But also free from the two brothers that had been taking choices away from her from the moment they’d come to town.

And she didn’t want to give that freedom up. She wouldn’t. Not ever again.

When Elena feels her humanity returning she finds herself focusing on having finally been free from the Salvatore brothers, and doesn't abandon her justified anger. Bonnie Bennett in The Originals ‘verse (5/?)

Bonnie feels sticky. She blames that on the fact that five feet from where they stand alligators lazily show their bellies in the mid afternoon sun. She decides that she will have a love/hate relationship with the bayou.

"Interesting choice of place to meet," she says as she slaps at a mosquito. They have been relentless and part of her wonders if they can taste magic in her blood (it's a ridiculous thought but no more ridiculous than standing opposite Rebekah Mikaelson in the swamp).

"I can't have my brother seeing me cavorting with the enemy, now can I?" Rebekah snarks back but she too is swatting her hand. Bonnie tries not to laugh at the irony of a vampire being bothered by something designed to suck her blood.

Bonnie's head tilts to the side. "I was under the impression that you don't much care what your brother thinks."

"I don't. But I am also not bloody stupid, witch," Rebekah points out. "If Niklaus even suspects I am talking to you of all people I will be dodging daggers. I would rather avoid the coffin. I have just gotten used to this centuries' fashion sense. Or lack there of." There is a pointed look at Bonnie's attempt to stay fashionable while cool at the same time.

Bonnie tries to let the insults bounce off her. She crosses her arms and resorts to business mode. "Okay, fine, then why are you cavorting with the enemy then, Rebekah? What do you want from me?"

"My brother."

She snorts. "I can't help you with Klaus."

"My other brother. Elijah," Rebekah clarifies. "Klaus has gone and done something awful to him. I know it. The bastard is tight lipped about it and I didn't drag myself all the way to this cursed city and into the bayou not to figure out what has happened. You can help me. You can find Elijah."

Bonnie raises both her brows. "And just why would I want to do that?" She has no love for the Mikaelson family but she carries a special brand of distaste for the man who led to her mother being turned.

There is a long pause and when Rebekah speaks she seems to have difficulty with the words. "Because I will owe you," she begins. "And so will Elijah. That is two powerful vampires at your service. You would be a fool to give up this chance."

Bonnie may be many things.

But she is no fool.

Chapter 6 - I Put A Spell On You

Rebekah yawns and finishes her glass of wine before calling a cab. Expensive but she insists that she’s never taken the subway and would get lost if she tried now in her state.

After she leaves, Nora joins her at the sink to wash the dishes and put them away on the drying rack. They are quiet for some time. Enjoying the sound of dishes moving in the full sink and the warmth standing next to each other.

“We should probably talk about this.” Nora’s directness is a blessing and a curse. “Tonight I mean.”

It’s funny how a lot of TVD Stans all of a sudden lose the ability to envision anything outside of canon when it comes to Bonnie and her only. All these fantasies, hypotheticals and what if’s can be thrown around for other characters but God for bid it’s Bonnie. Now it’s either Bonnie Stan’s are doing too much, we’re trying to make her the main character and give her too much attention/spotlight or we’re being delusional giving her storylines that make her ooc even tho the entire show was hella inconsistent in how characters were written.

It’s not our fault y’all choose to only see her for what was given in the show and nothing more. Take that close minded energy elsewhere.

Rebekah is who warned Matt that Elena was going to do something to Bonnie at prom and Bonnie never knew this. Rebekah looked out for Bonnie yes it has something to do with her liking Matt but that isn’t the point. She still did something nice for Bonnie. (4x19) it just makes me sad Bonnie wasn’t allowed to have friends outside the MFG (we know why) then later spends so much time isolated from everyone else with no one looking out for her.

Who is Klaus' favorite sibling and what does he tell them about his relationship with Bonnie?

His favorite sibling is Henrik they were close when Klaus was a human. Post that it’s Elijah and then Rebekah. Due to Elijah being the main reason along with the Salvatore’s that Bonnie was placed in a coin toss. He’d tell Rebekah first. It would take some time for Bonnie to care to rebuild that trust with Elijah since he betrayed her and harmed her twice. Klaus wouldn’t enforce that relationship to function until Bonnie is ready. I think both Elijah and Rebekah would notice the signs of Klaus having feelings for Bonnie.

Klaus would confide in Rebekah about Bonnie first. He has no reason to be ashamed of how he feels and Rebekah has always been by his side. Rebekah wanted the normal teenaged girl experience, Bonnie is very understanding and sympathetic to others. It wouldn’t take much for them to bond. When Rebekah wanted to act like a normal teenager girl, she presented herself kindly to everyone in the Mystic Falls Group but Bonnie…we know why that is. Kat even said her, Claire and Paul was a trio behind the scenes. What could’ve been huh? Same with Joseph and Kat being close.
