"The Biden era has normalized illness and demonized mitigations for the sake of “back to normal”. We now live in a country where educated liberals genuinely think it’s okay-and in fact good- that their kids are constantly ill (to be expected given the immune system-damaging nature of COVID). Where leftists argue that killing old people is less harmful than wearing masks. Where concern for community health is painted as cowardly and using the modern scientific tools we are lucky enough to have is portrayed as rude and stupid. And terribly, this liberal political project under Joe Biden has come down like a hammer on community solidarity, leaving “the vulnerable” squabbling with their mocking former comrades. It’s hard to overstate just how much damage the normalization of COVID has done to the very concepts of public health and community.
My beliefs throughout the pandemic have never changed: that vulnerable people deserve access to society, that mitigation must be prioritized, that great progress is possible with great effort, that community care is most critical in times of state abandonment. It’s hard to know where to go from here, at the nadir of a COVID response that vilifies and mocks any gesture toward prevention and care. But for those of us who are still here, education must start from a place of unpacking several years-worth of propaganda, while learning from disability justice activists who have reckoned with their social marginalization for decades.
Despite the multitude of falsehoods that continue to be poured over the heads of our comrades by outlets that can’t or won’t reckon with Biden’s failure, the truth has the advantage of being obvious, and patient. So we’ll continue to repeat it, until the people are ready to hear it: COVID is not mild. COVID is not harmless. COVID is not inevitable. COVID is not over. Stay safe out there."

Idk why I keep trying to get neoliberals to understand that Biden has already lost the election next year because the genocide is the last straw after hemorrhaging voters with his policies the last three years, and that screaming at people to vote for him during the genocide he's funding is just going to make more people desert the Dems. It's like talking to a brick wall that gets vicious the more you try to explain.
But then it's not about winning for them. It's about white liberals finding a scapegoat for their dawning realization that their power structures are collapsing under them, that they've been betrayed by the establishment they devoted themselves to propping up. All that rage and panic finding an outlet in the young, the marginalized, the vulnerable and anybody who has sympathy for them. Because whites will never challenge power in any meaningful way. They know that the system was made for them, and believe their exclusion from its privileges is an aberration that can be fixed at the ballot box.
We know what we mean when we say "Blue MAGA". It's like the "liberal Zionists" in Israel right now. The leftist genociders, the liberal settlers, the progressive colonizers. Their "allyship" is actually just the benevolence of the oppressor, and any challenge to their power and privilege it is seen as ingratitude. They translate this to "betrayal" in their own heads, providing a rationale to use their whiteness to punish the oppressed as viciously as their "conservative" counterparts and make us into scapegoats for their loss of privilege. It's not "ideological slavery", it's ideological enslaving.

A young woman at a Biden campaign event stood up to call for a ceasefire and the response was loud booing from the crowd and MULTIPLE people assaulting her.
Biden supporters are fascists with a blue coat of paint. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it as many more times as I need to: if you are still a shill for Joe Biden, you are just as bad as Trump supporters. You are fascists and you cannot see an inch beyond your own comfort within the imperial core.

When Auntie Zora said "not all my skinfolks are kinfolks," this is your reminder that some skinfolks would rather be pokemon tokens and extraordinary negroes than abandon their neoliberal privileges that destroy our people and planet. Also being LGBTQ+ doesn't equate to being antiracist (which this neoliberal flamingo clearly isn't).
Also, all those people continuing to go into the venue rather than standing in solidarity with these profiled MENA women and saying that they won't attend unless they are rightfully allowed to enter (if the Biden-Harris team is so concerned about bad press from kicking out folks calling for a ceasefire and end to genocide . . . then why not . . . y'know . . . call for a ceasefire?)
-----
🇵🇸 @thisiskayem This occurred on Saturday's "Get The Vote Out" event in Las Vegas for @kamalaharris @vp.
The two visibly Muslim women RSVP'd for the event, were given wristbands upon checking in, and were standing in line when the Harris campaign officials denied them entry.
They provided screenshots of the the invite, photos wearing the wristbands, and an email of arrival instructions on Twitter.
The masks are coming all the way off.

The pretense of blue maga liberals caring about the genocide of Palestinians falls apart fast when they start blocking everyone who responds to them who is actually affected by that genocide.
If the only way for you to maintain your sense of moral rectitude is by plugging your ears and humming very loudly when people who have lost family to the genocide disagree with you? Rather than listening to people you've hurt and trying to understand their perspective?
Your opposition to genocide is less than your attachment to your own comfort. And that's damn disappointing.

NO! I will NOT just f*cking vote!!
I H8 this privileged sheeple mentality… this thought process is a BIG “screw you” to the marginalized & international community that are suffering at the hands of barberic U.S. policies.
Things are not improving.. it is NOT slow & steady progress… the Government is hyper-focused on colonial expansion into the Middle East & profiting from war… THEY DON’T GIVE A DAMN about the American infrastructure.
“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
Voting at this point is INSANITY!

A quick note re: 2 exciting innovations in Anti-Racist Science
Tumblr media
First, there's this piece from CNN titled "Major Hollywood stars press Academy to include Jews in representation and inclusion standards." Low-IQ actors such as Debra Messing and David Schwimmer have requested that the Academy of Motion Pictures begin auditing the number of Jews in their ranks, explaining that refusing to do so might cause people to believe Jews are white, instead of a completely separate racial entity. Very neat!
Second--and this is from a conservative source, sure, but the documents are verifiable--we have some new DEI materials that were taught to employess of the University of Wisconsin health system. These include many of the greatest hits from older DEI materials: it's racist to cry when someone yells at you, it's racist to disagree with a black person about anything, it's racist to say you're not racist, etc etc. But there are two exciting new twists: it's racist to have supported the 1960's Civil Rights movement and it's only possible for anyone to feel comfortable when they're interacting solely with people who "look and think" like themselves.
For years, I have complained that the left's all-consuming obsession with identity has accidentally turned progressives into Bush-era Republicans. Sadly, they have blasted beyond that. These people now have the politics of a fringe 1960's Birch Society candidate who thinks fluoridation causes race mixing. They have been Spiro Agnew-pilled.
This would all be a dumb little thing to snicker at if it were, indeed, confined to tumblr and X studies courses at liberal arts colleges. But it's not. It's absolutely not. It's being normalized in a staggering number of white collar spaces and people can and do face formal discipline for pointing out how utterly fucking insane it is.
Does anyone truly want this? Is this what you marched for in 2020? Is this what your workplaces and schools should look like? Are these the people we truly desire to empower? Because we are barreling toward the point of no return with this stuff.
You gotta stop it with the "golly gee we're just trying to teach folks about racism and slavery" bullshit. That was annoying in 2020; it's outright dangerous now. This is not education. This is not a process of healing. This is an extremely reactionary ideological project that's going to have negative reverberations for decades to come.

Reminder that Genocide Joe ended all of Trump's paltry COVID mitigation efforts and subsidies, then buried pandemic data and had regime officials declare to press pools that the deaths of the disabled were encouraging Then when COVID finally surged enough again to affect the comfortable, gave out expired but still usable tests and after a handful of months, ended that again. Keep in mind these tests have never been sufficiently accurate and that everyone should be testing twice every single day. COVID is infectious 5-10 days before it might show up on a test and you remain infectious until a few days after your last negative. COVID is infectious days before you show symptoms; many people don't experience what they think of as typical COVID symptoms for their first 1-3 infections. COVID symptoms include (but aren't limited to): GI distress (upset stomach, diarrhea), runny nose, reduction/loss in taste and smell, headaches, fatigue, fever, joint and muscle aches, loss of appetite, insomnia, cognitive difficulties and it may present in any combination of these symptoms or even none. If you think it's "bad allergies," it could easily be COVID. If you think it's "just a cold" or "a mild or severe flu" it could easily be COVID. COVID doesn't stay positive on tests; that is, you may test positive a day or two prior and then test negative for days before testing positive again. To know for sure, you have to be testing frequently and swabbing the back of your throat, cheeks, and nasal passages. Biden's normalized the mass murder of thousands of disabled people of color a week but blue maga only cares what red maga might be up to one day instead of the very real suffering and deaths Democrats are causing now. Wear a mask the entire time you're out in public every time. Give up COVID-spreading activities. If possible, help others upgrade their masks and resume masking. Anything less is killing people. Show real solidarity and commitment to anti-eugenics. Wear a mask.

Welp, certainly glad Nancy Pelosi went out of her way to squash Jessica Cisneros—the pro-choice, immigration rights attorney who would have otherwise won in a safe blue district—so that this conservative, homophobic, NRA loving, forced-birther could work with Republicans to [checks notes] overturn Roe and make poor people even poorer.

Just to be perfectly clear, this isn't an article that says Cuellar is against raising the minimum wage. It's much much much worse! He wants to ELIMINATE the minimum wage and overtime for certain workers.
