"Never watch another woman burn. Know that love is the only answer."
"Drink lavender tea when you can not sleep. Know that the only remedy for love is to love more."
"Plant roses and lavender for luck. Fall in love whenever you can."
—The endings of Magic Lessons, The Rules of Magic and Practical Magic, books 1 to 3 of the four part Practical Magic series by Alice Hoffman.

I mean, if Bonnie HAD to be the last Bennett witch (which was lazy and complete bullshit) then it should've meant something. Like have a prophecy that the last living Bennett witch would either save the world or bring it to its knees.
Her bloodline was the cornerstone of the supernatural world. Immortality in basically all forms, the Other Side, and paved the way for spirit magic?
Everyone worth their salt would've been shook if they heard a prophecy about a Bennett witch.
(... yes I'm writing a long fic based on this concept.)

The time has finally come. The vote has come to witches first. So, I'll start from the beginning. Witches can be one of two things. They can either be druids(advisors for other supernatural creatures, humans, etc) that protect and balance out nature, or they can go down a dark path that leads to making a pact with a dark force that goes against God himself. Whether it be demons, Satan, or demonic entities that can cause catastrophic damage to you, them, or other innocent people. They also come from paganism and work with other spirits as well. Some of the most famous witches come from the witch trials from the early 1600s (even though most were ONLY accused of being a witch). So if you hear that their ancestors were "born" a witch/they come from a line of witches, or if they're powerful because of their "bloodline", be VERY sceptical and take note that this is a practice that can become their lifestyle. No matter where they stand in this world, and depending on what they practice, they can become the most powerful person with enough dedication, and patience. Achieving what most would call impossible. Their limits of power can tie into the elements air, fire, earth, and water. With manipulating energy and meditation, witches can manipulate those same elements, manifest their own personal power, etc. Now, the main thing that can cause a significant amount of damage the cities or even countries is something called Power Lines. They're invisible, and powerful forces of nature that flows through the earth itself. If you tamper with them, you'll possibly start great storms, hurt half the population of supernatural creatures/humans, or create a new threat no one would be able to stand against. Deities and supernatural protectors watch over those lines like guardian angels. Get close enough to messing with them, they'll have no choice but to come after you like a plague. One in particular is called the Deity of Chaos. Any questions?

I'm sorry but something about this headline just saying "Brujah" is so funny to me. Especially because if you don't know anything about VTM there isn't like any context to help you at all.

The way I love a spin-off paranormal/urban fantasy series of a more popular paranormal/urban fantasy series that’s set after the events of the first series with different characters and the female protagonist only featured in the last book or last couple of books of the original series but developed a friendship with the female lead of the og series in them, and the spin off is set in California where there’s a murder mystery going on and the main couple is a blonde girl with brown eyes and a brunette boy with green eyes who paints, and their love is forbidden because of the fantastical government which the storyline/themes are extremely critical of and also there’s familial/psuedo-familial drama and exploration of parts of the magical lore of the world the og series didn’t get into as much (witchcraft/alchemy for bl faeries for tda).

⚠️Helaemond Brain Rot. Proceed With Caution⚠️
It would kinda make sense to me (a non-book reader), that dutiful Aemond would “perform his duty” for the sake of the family and realm resulting in Helaena’s children, if Aegon was always too drunk or just outright refused to perform his.
Who knows? The way he begged Aemond to help him escape might not be first time Aegon has begged Aemond to free him from something he simply did not want to do.
“Please brother, no one has to know-”
Tumblr media
Eventually not even him. Specially if Aemond and Helaena grew to actually love each other, because in her own words, “it is our fate, I think, to crave what is given to another. If one possesses a thing, the other will take it away,” and what does Aegon crave most, if not love? 🐸☕️

I would have loved if Gaius was Merlin's grandfather on his mother's side. It would have added to the chaos of it all.

Ophelia felt a shiver up her spine... A sharp sting in her gut like someone was twisting a knife. A cold sensation that brought her to tears.

"Something... Something just happened... I don't know what, but something just happened....!"
She never should have left!! Never never!! She never should have left the lingering left alone back there!!
No no no no no no!! Something bad happened...!! Something beyond bad!! She could feel the omen in her bones....!!

The Witches of Hawkins
Witches are an excellent source for all manner of magical curio, including (but certainly not limited to) magical trinkets that allow vampires to safely be exposed to sunlight, and potions that help werewolves maintain control through full moons.
