Art (spidersona)

This is my spidersona design!

So... She is based off of the blue-faced peacock spider (pictures below)

I don't have a name for her yet, but I think she's super cool.

She cannot make webs, but she has a glider hidden in her hoodie/dress, which she uses when she needs to get down from high buildings. Btw, the glider kind of works the same as flying squirrels do 😭 Just freaking :

FACTS:

CRAZY flexible and fast, and can jump SUPER far, like, more than a full football field across, and around 20-ish stories up, if she runs and THEN jumps, cause she is LITERALLY a jumping spider mutant. Pretty cool 😈

2. Has kinda venomous fangs, and tends to have pretty strong instincts to kill things that get too close, or that disturb her.

3. Has the urge to stalk prey, and when she doesn't kill/prepare her own food, she tends to get weirdly depressed and uncomfortable.

4. Can see all the colors on the spectrum (including UV), and has crazy good eyesight/reflexes.

5. Hearing isn't the best, but she can feel vibrations intensely on the hairs of her skin, and uses that to compensate.

6. She loves art, drawing, singing and music 💕

7. She also loves burrowing! She keeps her living space VERY cluttered, tends to nest in several blankets when sleeping, and has pretty bad agoraphobia (aka the opposite of claustrophobia).

What do y'all think I should name her?

I literally hate having to write lab analysis papers as a group project 😭 I love the people in my lab group but how did they even manage to get this far into their education without knowing how to write a complete sentence that makes any kind of sense??

i just went through to edit the lab analysis due TOMORROW and i literally couldn’t comprehend a word of it?? there was an entire big ass paragraph that was ONE loooong run on sentence. i asked one of them what she meant by “this supports our conclusion” (we don’t have a “conclusion”?so what would it be supporting??) and she said “idk”

My biology professor, in his last lecture with us, told us that "science is the process and the people. Data is the residue, " and I wanna say mean things to him for that because now I am feeling unwell.

He said, "In 2009, Elizabeth Blackburn won the noble Prize for discovering the genome for the connective tissue on the telomere in the protist Tetrahymena thermophila That genome is found in ALL eukaryotic life." Even if he didn't explicitly say it, all I heard was in 2009, Elizabeth black burn discovered a part of me!

And I've always known it but now I understand. We're all connected, and the bugs are my brother!
