You’ve nailed it. The mental gymnastics they are doing to disprove the pictures is insane. No matter how nonsensical, their supporters are willing to hold onto every explanation that its photoshopped and its just so funny because they are of course the queens of photoshop.

On a serious note, this is seriously dangerous for j (and v), so both companies are probably on it. Its more likely that a statement will never be released especially by hybe as per v’s request im assuming. Private things will stay private, fuck the fans. Irks me when people demand to be let into their personal lives just for their own peace of mind as if that should be relevant an artists’ relationships.

If there’s official statements i’d really be surprised.

What I don't understand is the NEED to prove that the photos are real or not. I would understand the anger of seeing that their privacy was violated by posting pictures instead of them, if the pictures were real but if they are not, so what? They are not accusing them of a crime and there would be nothing wrong if they really had a romantic relationship, right? As fans, shouldn't we be happy for them? Not that our opinion matters when it comes to their private lives, so it's weird that some people are acting like it does. But then again, we're talking about shippers so it makes sense. The point here is that even non-shippers seem desperate to prove that the photos aren't real. It's creepy how people in this fandom believe that 7 men in their mid 20's almost 30's don't have a partner. I understand that her agency responded vaguely and elusively to the rumours and as far as I know, BHM hasn't said anything, which is interesting because when there were rumours a few weeks or months ago that Joon was getting married they responded directly on the subject but maybe the artists don't want anything to be said, who knows. The issue here is that I see a number of people ahogandose en un vaso con agua over this and I don't understand why. As for the subgroup, lo que será, será. And they and all of us must understand that what we believe and want influences absolutely nothing in these men's lives and that at the end of the day we don't really know anything about them, especially their private lives and the relationships in them.

Reflecting on Class Last Week: Educating Eachother on BHM

I found all of the presentations from Wednesday's class to be incredibly insightful. It is so imperative that we hold each other accountable when it comes to educating one another on important, often sensitive topics, and I found our class presentations hit the nail on the head in terms of doing just this.

While I won't go into the details of the presentations (since we were there all listened to one another!), I will say that I found each groups' blend of facts, opinions, and reflection discussion both informative and interactive. I especially enjoyed the presentations that were thought-provoking in nature and invited the audience to share our thoughts with the group.

Real talk this is fucking insane. I know it goes without saying at this point but goddamn does our education system need an overhaul and academic dishonesty is just the tip of the fucking iceberg. The sad thing is is that people, not just kids, will put in the effort to do things that they like and find interesting. Our brains are hard wired to close in on subjects that we genuinely have interest in and we will do things regarding those subjects and utilize that knowledge fullheartedly. To say that some if not most subjects in academia can be full on dropped should not be news to some, because let's be honest with ourselves most courses offer knowledge that only applies to specific career goals.

Math courses past basic algebra have no real world application for most people unless you want to be an engineer or go into the sciences.

Literature offers nothing outside to writers and critics. If anything forcing kids to read will make them adults who resent reading instead of inspiring people to actually read. I know media literacy isn't the best but I can tell you that making me read Hamlet has done very little outside of making me chuckle at that Adventure Time episode after reading it 10 years ago.

Now I will concede that subjects like history and the basic sciences are absolutely a necessity, and I don't feel like I need to justify that standpoint, especially anatomy because goddamn the gross ignorance shown towards human anatomy online is just appalling. However our approach to these subjects (history in particular for US students) needs serious review and revision.

The amount of times we went over just US history in public school is fucking insane. I'm willing to bet most people in the US didn't know that the Portuguese Navy was the most powerful military force in the world for a good majority of human history, or that the British Empire were the largest drug traffickers in the world, or Hell even the East India Trade Company was legitimately a thing. Seriously we need to get our head out of our own asses with History because fuck me you can only go over the same shit so many times.

(Not to say that we, at least in my school district, didn't go over some world history, but most of it was in regards to WWII. We also went over the Rwanda conflict for... reasons? in middle school but for the life of me I can't recall why? Not to say that it wasn't an important topic but genuinely why did we go over just Rwanda? Was it a BHM thing? I also remember talking about Nelson Mandela, so was it just BHM?)

Of course most US history courses end around the 60's because why update the curriculum with recent history like how Nixon fucked us over economically. And some wonder why we vote celebrities into office even though it was a demonstrably bad idea.

Now I know that the same argument for math can be made for science but I'm going to argue tooth and nail that a basic understanding of science is way the fuck more important than any understanding of math for the average person. A layman's comprehension of anatomy will always trump a full understanding of quadratics and I would love to hear any and all opposition.

TL:DR Our education system, at least in the US, is fucked and we need to work our asses on that. Now.

Happy new year! I'll be honest.

This start of my winter and new year has definitely been busier than I've expected. I've always tried to start my year off running, so my planning of weeks began to take on a life of its own , so before I knew it, I was coming into February without producing a post at all. So let’s start from the top.

January is and always has been a busy month for me with 6 immediate birthdays that i come to recognize. With a new job in front of me, i did what i had to and kept my nose to the grindstone for work, while shakily balancing my social hours with much needed alone time to process everything. I, personally was super excited to leave 2020 with full intention to approach 2021 with hard work and paced progress.

I’ve made the effort to do a lot more creative work for my own sake and finding an understanding of what it looks like to share that with others

I’ve been brainstorming different blog ideas to push into my official upcoming blog and website domain and incorporate into my social media presence

I’ve also made the effort to get more into my body on a routinely basis, whether it be gym days with friends or stretching at home on my own. I’m going to gear towards doing yoga again to add more physical activity to my week.

Finally, In my own celebration of black history month, I will be seeking out black owned business, black YouTube channels, and all black creative content that I’ve either held off on seeing/ experiencing, or things that I can revisit to enjoy from my own early years. Personally, I haven’t been disappointed to this day 💖✨.

Coming back to the current time of year, I look back at last year as the time I found out about my first ever pregnancy. The mixed emotions were furious for at least a week coming up to that moment, and this was the same time I came to know my present day boyfriend to be my future husband~ regardless of how things turned out, he’s stood in place with me as my pillar of support just as much as I do my best to support him. The start of happily ever after, as the story books have called it. So I’m making the effort to celebrate my love, life, and the blackness thereof this month 🖤.

With all of this in mind, I’m gravely aware of my inactivity on here as a person and not just a tumblr blogger. So I’m making a point to show off my creative works more often! Hopefully some day, I’ll be able to vlog it or stream it with others.

Eren face brightens up when you say those words. Mann, this boy was in love. The bell rang and you notice all the kids scrambling to get to class. He releases his arms from you and grabs your hand as you both scurry along to your next period class.

He drops you off and waves at Armin and Marco that happens to be in your last period.

"Remember your promise y/n!!" He said as he walked off to the direction of his class.

You rolled your eyes jokingly and settled in to class.
