Valentine’s Day Blurb for @fuck-you-i-didnt-eat-the-beans
Prompt List | 2.1k and Valentine’s Celebration | Blurb Masterlist
You spent all day tidying up and making sure everything was perfect. You wore your husband’s favorite little dress, made his favorite meal, and littered the house with candles and flowers. Sure, Lee was the macho sheriff of Knockemstiff, but that didn’t mean you couldn’t splurge on some flowers for him. Besides, you would get to spruce up the place for yourself too.
Just as his favorite pie was coming out of the oven, you heard the door to your little house open. The sweet aroma of cherry pie, roses, and vanilla candles met his nostrils immediately and washed a sense of warmth and welcome over him.
“Hi baby,” you greeted him as you walked into the foyer where he was hanging his jacket up. Lee’s eyes instantly scanned your body, taking you in from head to toe.
“Hi darlin’, I see you got on that pretty little dress I like, you know what that does to me, doll,” his large hands swept across your hips and folded together behind your back, pulling you into a hug. His lips met your forehead before taking in your lips.
“Mm, I got this and so much more for you, baby,” you pulled away and walked him into the living room. His features softened when he looked at all the stuff you had laid out for him. You bit your lip, waiting eagerly for his response but he didn’t say anything, just backtracked to the foyer and came back with a large gift bag and the biggest bouquet you’d ever seen.
“Lee!” you gasped as he handed you the flowers.
“It’s nothing compared to this, darlin’, you’re too good to me,” he brought you into another kiss.
“You like it, Lee?” you looked over the room again.
“I love it darlin’, your heart is too pure for me, ya know that?” he came behind you and placed soft kisses on your neck, holding your waist as you smelled your own flowers.
“Open up ya gift,” he said, nudging you toward your gift bag. You let out an excited squeal, taking the bag to the couch and setting it between your legs. You pulled out a large teddy bear in a policeman’s jacket.
“Since ya call me your teddy bear,” Lee blushed. Around its neck was a very expensive-looking diamond and pearl necklace. “Next time we go out, I figured you could wear that, think it’d pair nicely with that little white dress ya got.”
“Lee…” you teared up a bit, “it’s beautiful, I love it so much.” you stood and wrapped your arms around his pudgy waist. He was soft and inviting, so gentle with you, his favorite girl.
“Aw, come on now, ya know I don’t like to see my girl cry,”
“They’re happy tears,” you explained with a chuckle.
“Still,” Lee tilted your head up, kissing your forehead. You pulled away and wiped your face.
“Alright, enough of that, huh? I made your favorite, cherry pie,” Lee groaned in pleasure, excited to dig in because he loved your food so much.
“Like I said darlin’, you’re too good to me,”
