So ¿two top 5's? I don't know.

Well, this is going to be fun because I have more than just 5 hehehe 😼

1) Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom x Manny Rivera/El Tigre (TigerGhost/TigerSpirit) I just fell in love with their dynamic, thanks to @/nicktoonsunite

I love Danny and Manny because Danny tends to be a little more serious and easily stressed out than Manny. And Manny's laid-back and fun loving personality helps balance that out for Danny. But the main draw for me is that they both understand what it's like to have separate identities that clash with their lives and the responsibility of protecting others. Even though they may feel like their powers get in the way of their normal lives sometimes, they will always put aside their own needs to do what's right.

2) Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom x SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongeBoo) because of @/nicktoonsunite (and because I remember playing Nicktoons Volcano Island on my old GameCube and Nicktoons Globs of Doom on my old PS2).

Danny and SpongeBob are just cute, queerplatonic partners, and their personalities mesh well together. I love how close and comforting they are in @/nicktoonsunite's universe. If there was something that was bothering them both, they would be the first people they chose to confide in.

3) Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom and Octavia Goetia (Spectral Owl) because of you and how cute they are. I honestly love the idea of Danny and Via healthily trauma bonding over the upbringings they had in their family homes. I love how shy and awkward they would be with each other.

I imagine Octavia helping Danny ghost hunt with her magic and knowledge of the supernatural, but I think what I love most is how slowly and gently Danny gets Octavia to put her walls down and trust him. They would be absolutely good for each other as a couple, and I headcanon that Danny will grow to be 6′ 1″ and Octavia will be 6′ 7″. Danny and Octavia will be a tall and adorable king and queen couple one day. (He will always nickname her Spooky.)

4) Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom x Betty Barrett/Atomic Betty (Galactic Ghost) Now I was a huge Atomic Betty and Danny Phantom fan in my childhood (still am) so that's how this ship came to be.

I ship Betty and Danny for the same reasons I ship Danny and Manny but Danny becomes a galactic guardian and Betty becomes a ghost buster lol.

5) Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom x Little Cato (Spectral Space/Spooky Cat/Ghostly Hellions) (I need more ship names for these two).

I'm a huge Little Cato fan, and this is one of my favorite ships that I've come up with for him. I like to imagine that Little Cato gets his first intense crush on Danny, and Danny is completely oblivious (for awhile) about it. Little Cato just thinks that Danny is the coolest person he's ever met, and laughs at all of his silly jokes. Danny can't help but think how cute Little Cato is and finds himself enjoying every moment that they spend together. That's all I'm going to say about this ship because I plan to make a post about them in the future.

Galactic Guardians, reporting for duty!

This wallpaper will start off Wave 3, but due to IRL work and whatnot, there will be sparse wallpaper drops this time around and a significantly short amount of such.

Atomic Betty was one of the shows I didn't get into until after FusionFall, the game that started all my CNU madness. One of my earliest discoveries of the community was the fanart of Betty made by the great @edorazzi/@yourgalacticgirl, as seen here. And sure enough that got me into the show proper!

These guys won't be appearing in the fanfic for a while, but it was a joy to redesign their retro-space outfits and make them look practical without losing their charm. Credit for Betty's art goes to NicDraws, who executed the artwork based on my design. I had made Sparky, X-5, and DeGill.

Some notes:

The colors of their ear communicators and their correspondent uniform indicate their rank, but Betty's uniform in particular is meant to be an older rendition, since she inherited the suit from her grandma. They have scarfs that tie into another corner of the CNU, and their poofy shoulderpads have been reimagined as pylon harnesses that maintain their jetpacks and searchlights. Their suits also have shields that were inspired by Dune but executed in a Spider-Verse style

Admiral DeGill's uniform, faintly seen in Betty's holowatch, is based off the Admiral uniforms from TOS-film-era Star Trek

That is not the final design of the Beatrixo, their ship seen at the edge of the supernova. I just quickly threw it together.

Credit for the space background wallpaper goes to...oh shit, goes to ME! Believe it or not this is my first time ever making a space wallpaper, specifically doing my own take on Jack Kirby's style space backgrounds.

#the saint #the loving brothers #itc #1964 #leslie charteris #john graeme #leslie norman #roger moore #reg lye #ray barrett #ed devereaux #annette andre #betty mcdowall #dick bentley #grant taylor #noel trevarthen #john tate #kevin brennan #ahh the old Australia episode. itc seemed to have a thing for it; it pops up in multiple series (Interpol Calling‚ The Four Just Men‚ The #Champions and others all dabbled at some point in the phenomenon). what was it about the land down under that so fascinated the itc boys?#to its credit this episode actually goes the extra mile and features a cast almost entirely made up of real Aussies (albeit expats who'd #relocated to the UK for work). actors like Devereux‚ Barrett and Taylor were the antipodean equivalent of the rentayanks who were called on #to fill any american characters in brit tv. it must be said tho that this is a tough episode (i imagine) for our vegemite loving cousins #the itc understanding of Australia is patronising to say the least‚ and apparently views the country as one large sweaty desert full of #rough and tumble heavy drinking hard fighting loudmouths (this isn't exclusive to this episode‚ it's true of other ITC trips to Oz)#still this isn't too bad an ep. another morality tale of a sort‚ as once again Simon uses a tactic of shaming someone into doing a good #thing (or at least not reporting him for having forced them to do the right thing). of interest: briefly knocks on the fourth wall as Reg #Lye's character apparently hears Simon's opening monologue to camera. also the transmission order is presumably more closeltly following #the production order at this point‚ thus recurring guest stars in back to back episodes (Andre in 3.6 and 3.7‚ Ed Bishop in 3.5 and 3.6)

Harry absently telling hagrid he misses his garden and from back home and them both tending to hagrid’s pumpkins together :’)

Hagrid and Sprout love Harry okay. This kid has the best green thumb and most wonderful gardening tips either of them have ever heard. Him and Neville are thick as thieves and Harry gets him out of his shell much earlier by slowly infecting him with Country Feral.

The first time Neville is on the ranch (after the politest argument Barrett has ever seen over tea and “biscuits” — including Mrs. Sheryl-Ann and Mrs. Betty-May at Sunday service — between Remus and Augusta) he immediately falls in love and really starts acting like the little boy he is.

My former English professor is retiring and gave away a bunch of the books in her office. She's a gem. I giddily returned to campus just to sort through her collection. Super excited about the ones I brought home with me. I thought someone else might appreciate some of the books I found.
