its 6am and I'm complaining myself through the ending of purgatory k? This is just the bitching not a full balanced analysis, bits I genuinely enjoyed are missing so it looks like I have a worse opinion than I did, its below a cut because a lot of people don't want that and that's absolutely good. I'm just processing through.
I think purgatory ending feels bad because we were promised by the way it was advertised and treated the end of the arc, and what we got was another fucking mid point instead. A mid point which after this going on for so long nobody really wanted. Setting up new project cool! But it felt miserable to watch the end. Probably could have been helped if the CCs had more info on a meta level - just the timescales and that this wasn't actually the end of the arc - so they could pace themselves and us better. The eggs missing has gone on for far too long, we've been given far too little to work with, and it's just not fun viewing any more. Which is why my engagement is so dependent on the next little while.
That, plus getting to the boat on foot was impossible without near perfection - something they were never going to all have. I like giving qMaxo his big sendoff with the nuke which solves nothing! But people who were legitimately trying to escape (Cellbit, Tina, off the top of my head - Cellbit just legit got lost in the underground. He said after he decided to stay but like... really? We'll have to wait and see next time he plays qsmp. If nothing else he legit had shit to do planned, and I feel like he would discuss it more with Roier if he was going to perma-kill Cellbit as that's massive to put on someone else's character. Pretty sure ccCellbit was just teasing like he fucking does but we'll see. Also changes what Maxo did if any of them die to it /significantly/. I'll be genuinely worried for ccMaxo if his characters actually pretty neat death arc resulted in a fan favourite character permadying in a game without permadeath) should have had a legit chance to do so. If they were supposed to be able to. I really hope the admins smooth that bit over one way or another, because it just made shit feel extremely bad. Kinda expect the /actual/ ruling to be if one person made it they all did, but dear god they needed to tell the players that immediately after or whatever if so. Failing that you could maybe have the others in the Nether or something, but youd need to coordinate everyone who didn't make it and that'd just suck logistically. The sensible answer is if one person got there they all did because this isn't a high legality sort of game. For players.
Like the other eggs were probably kidnapped by something and reported out? And I'm betting on black concrete plot as that's the plot actually associated with them disappearing in the first place, but for all it's cool moments up until then it just... dropped the ball. Tbh the entire thing with the eggs being involved was a massive ball drop which lead to /one/ cool conversation but otherwise just made everything infinitely less enjoyable.
Poor BBH. Like cc wise. He's one of a whole lot of them who have horrific rp safety practices, but also there's not really anyone to teach them that and that's nothing to punish someone for. Hope it gets hashed out with him. All of them but especially him.
Having players of another project as "advertising" for a new project without them knowing more in advance tastes kinda shitty. Very shitty. We'll see how tied it ends up being but that's just not comfy.
Quackity saying about big stuff planned is absolute ass. Like legitimately and out of character the CCs genuinely need a break for a bit you can't just throw them back into heavy stuff immediately. They need space to breath oc and find their footing ic. Most of them have streamed far more than usual this fortnight, and even for those who do stream daily usually it's been intense. You can say if its hurting them they can just take a break but you cannot convince me they can when their literal irl incomes depend on this. Some more than others, but they do.
Also like the tension just genuinely doesn't hold that long. Most of what I run is combat heavy fantasy events, but I've done horror too. And a big bit of running horror events is studying how pacing and tension works, especially over an extended period (horror events locally tend to be multi-day). You /can/ change the usual layout, but you have to know your fucking shit and be really careful if you do, and the admins and Quackity just don't seem to - as a collective whole, some individuals may - have the experience necessary to fuck with the formula. Like. I'm burnt out, the players are ooc burnt out, the fandom generally seems burnt out - not giving the players a win here was already a mistake, but the tension /has/ snapped. Too many people are too burnt out from playing more than usual and all that, under very high stakes circumstances, for very little reward. There needs to be a break where players who do other stuff can play other stuff and players who don't can take the time to find their footing again. Tension levels are not sustainable and they broke them open. If they hadn't revealed the eggs you could have stretched it another few days, but they did. At which point losing the eggs again is genuinely so fucking unsatisfying. They could have only been shown the winning egg. Like sure fuck with people, that's what's going on IC and OC maybe it was supposed to be reassurance, but it just ended up feeling ghoulish. It was so obviously playing on feelings it just fell flat for me. Not even the fun playing with feelings, just a fuck you.
Also communication has been fucking atrocious. Yes keep twists in the bag, I can see arguments for all plot points, but the players needed to know the timescale, the fact it was a PvP not a lore event, and that this wasn't the end of the eggs missing arc rather an interlude waaaaaaaaaaay earlier. Like they found out as these things became obvious, but given the time commitment it demanded they needed to know like weeks before it started. As soon as it was announced. We can tall all we like about trusting the admins, but the admins have got to fucking trust their players to still make good viewing times even if not everything is a complete surprise. It fucked over Cellbit and Roier and their murder plot planning, it fucked over a lot of people ooc and their streaming schedules and their ability to do actual life things. Forever when given the Judas plot should have been told in advance when it would be activatable. The players - not the characters or the audience, the players - should have known it was 15 days, PvP, only 1 egg was on the cards for now, that the chance to save the others will come later (I have no doubt it will), and that they would need to escape fast at the end. Not the why, not the how, not the plot, but you need to know the fucking stakes.
Like okay let's look at shit I run a sec. Its nor perfect, but we've been building on a 20+ year tradition of larp in the same place and learning from what does and doesnt work. Info players have in advance:
date and time. for things run for and at the university, dates generally are announced start of the year, and which system will be which day is the start of every term. For events for the uni but at an unusual place or time (often an IC dinner party or similar), 3 weeks in advance. For stuff not associated with the university (I help with fewer of these, as far fewer happen and theyte the ones i can still play with my disability)... well, they tend to be multi day in a hired venue and players pay a lot of money to be there, so its usually about a year and a half in advance. The stuff below about pitches are for saturday ones - paid for multi day events all that info is announced at least a year in advance, and for single day non-university ones at least 6 months. But like qsmp is a constantly running thing so the university stuff is a fairer comparison.
Every event has a "pitch". This goes up the Tuesday before for Saturday events - theres a couple of different teams running different genres but same place same time theres a larp every termtime saturday just 9/30 are run by my team. The pitch will contain the information the characters know going into a mission or social or whatever. If theres a twist the twist isn't mentioned, ofc, just the initial setup. Then, there's an out of character section, with stuff like date and time and reminders to weather weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes.
If the event is /not/ in the format players expect, in the out of character info including things like the time, we say that. We run combat heavy stuff. If it's purely social, we say so. If it'll be more Freeform than usual, we say so. If the party is getting split we - you guessed it - say so.
Our events have different levels of IC rewards. The basic reward can always be assumed (3 gold, iirc). Theres also 4 and 5 gold days. If its not 3 gold, it says so in the pitch, and players know this is a difficulty rstinf system. 3 is normal, 4 is "this is designed to be challenging for late end high xp characters and is likely to kill lower levels", 5 is "we are actively trying to kill someone". Death is always an option, but the ref team don't usually want it.
Sometimes there are RP rewards too. These are not explicately stated, but are alluded to "you will be paid so long as you eliminate the monster. If you capture it and deliver it to the university, however, the chancellor promises an extra something for you" sort of thing. "The Dowager Duchess is well known for rewarding those in her favour. Impress her, and she may do the same for you".
If there's distressing content that isn't covered by genre and game style, we include a warning. Last time was "this session will include horror elements. A list of content warnings is available from any ref on request", and we DMed players we knew have triggers on that list the same day pitch went out to liase with them. Yes even when the trigger is a plot twist or a spoiler because fuck you player safety will always be most important. One which had content warnings but was not horror "this session contains potentially distressing material. A list of content warnings is available from any ref on request".
And like... call me naive but this is the sort of info the players should have? In advance they should have a summary (yes it's also given IC at the start of the event, but it means they can prep properly), dates and times well in advance (so they can prep their lives and other projects), expected rewards (even if vague), and any particularly common triggers (like say a third party intentionally sewing paranoia and fucking with mental health of characters) should have a "theres triggers here please put a message in your help channel for a list". I'd say also some indicator of where on a plot arc something falls.
We dont give this because our pacing plot arc wise is determined by how we run them. Paid events are all always one offs (I run them with a different group of people but same circle) - except when they aren't in which case this is made clear at the pitching stage- and uni ones its dictated by the university schedule - we run nine main events a year, 3 each term. There's a small climax last linear of every term, and a major one at the end of a year. Yearly arcplots do not always exist but when they do they end with the last linear of term. There are some other plots brewing over longer periods - when those come to a head, they will become the main plot for a year and their climaxes run on yearly arcplot rules. It is never the case that all sessions in a year are arcplot related, to give players not interested in a specific thing something to do.
Other things they could probably do with include a safe word and establishing a way for an admin to indicate a fuck up due to glitch or mistake - probably an "ignore me" emote only admins have access to.
This all being said - the admin team want people to have fun and for it to go well, and the medium is much younger than traditional LARP. Information for their specific media does not exist, and while they maybe should look at rp for ideas they probably look at tabletop and don't even consider LARP - let alone larp styles more common in Europe. I can say things all I want, but I'm just a guy over here. The admins are trying their best and do want the best for their players, and will have a plan. It's just infuriating sometimes.

on planning for a race vs being reactive: if other teams make a “wrong” strategy in a race or something unexpected like change their number of pitstops, you’d have to be fluid in responding to that or it fucks your race too. she used daniel in shanghai (?) one year as an example
ruth was with seb for his first ferrari win!! legend. there were a number of personnel changes when he arrived and then she was “left holding the strategy baby [for that race] and i was like — okay!” lol. “this was after 2014 a winless season and you don’t want that because you bring shame upon the whole of italy”. aksjsksks.
kinda wild tho. ruth called for the two stop in sepang that resulted in seb’s race win and was 25 when this happened. making the calls like that is so impressive

she worked with charles and says he’s a very genuine guy, and very talented obviously
they ask her about the lewis ferrari signing and she drops the lore that lewis had actually been in talks with them ages ago, before the merc era. “maybe this [urge] has always been there”.
she was a DIEHARD mclaren fan and went to the ferrari job interview as practice but ended up saying yes to ferrari 💀💀 “ferrari carbed and ice creamed their way to my heart. and they showed me the factory bits you don’t normally see” she’s so real. “i went to ferrari for the interview and then mclaren. like the old grey mclaren not the cool one now. people thought something was wrong with me cus i grew up loving mclaren and then i was going to work at ferrari” AHHAHAKSKSKKSKS
kind of hilariously, she gets motion sickness from watching and monitoring the sim side of the engineering, which is kinda why she switched to the strategy side. the switch happened after one of the races with nando and massa, she proposed unsealing a gearbox on one of the cars, a legal thing, and it got the team a good result so that was history

she troubleshooted a (sauber?) race during one of her first races, there was nothing was loading on the pit wall screens. she’s furiously checking the backend. lights out and they had no numbers. then “the lord sent me an aborted start”. turns out it was a timezone setting issue in the computers. crazy stuff. they ended up going from the back to p6 (!!)
on joining the career ladder as a strategist: there is no strategy school so it’s about learning skills you need to do the job. e.g. doing a maths or computing degree etc. she did the formula student challenge when they build a f1 car
random but: “the first time ross brawn sent me an email i printed it out. best. day. of my life.” 😂
on strategy calls and being able to adapt for different tracks: “as a strategist you do not want to be a one trick pony. you want like. a whole field of ponies”

PACIFIC RIM AU - CH 1 Part 1
I'm very autistic about both TMNT and pacific rim, so have this!! the plot for this takes place in an alternate universe where the rim wasn't fully closed. everything plot-hole wise will be explained away later, it's there for a reason!
each chapter will have 3 parts, I'm splitting them up so i can pace myself!
TW for mentioned blood, plenty of violence and cussing if you need one for that!
this is the Rise turtles, and all are aged up by 5 years. (Making Raph 22, April 21, Donnie and Leo 20, Reader 19 and Mikey 18!) the events of the Rise movie or most of rise in general, along with the Pacific rim movies, won't be used. this is an excuse for me to be weird about my interests ♡♡

Things weren't going well. The war against the kaiju out in the Pacific wasn't going great either. Many jeagers and their pilots had been lost. In fact, pilots were sparse, few and far between. That is, legal pilots. In the slums of NYC, there were 6 delinquent individuals. And not far away there was a junkyard full of old jeagers from both the US and Canada.
Those 6 had spent years, almost a decade by now, gathering parts and assembling their very own jeagers, hidden in warehouses along the docks. These young adults had even perfected drift compatibly down to a science, literally. Teams of two, that was the deal, and they were all partnered off.
Donatello was most compatible with his older sister figure April. Raphael with Michelangelo.
And Leo with [NAME].
An odd team, compared to the others. a short fused, easily upset human with a cocky turtle who laughed through all his problems. A team that shouldn't have worked. And yet it did. Flawlessly, even.
In fact, most would think they were only paired due to being the last options left, when infact they were the first to be found compatible. They fueled each others ego when needed, brought each other down to Earth more often than not, fueled the others rage and motivated them to keep going when things looked bleak.
Most would think they were just teens in love, and they wouldn't necessarily be wrong. [NAME] had harbored feelings for the blue clad turtle since they first piloted side by side, even before. His memories, his hopes, his fears. They'd seen them all and still fell for him all the same. But it was something they had to bury deep. A day would inevitably come when they would have to pilot in a fight, and their feelings cannot get in the way.
And today was the day, apparently. [NAME] was sat straddling the shoulder of their jeager, clinging tightly while they welded on some finishing touches to the large blue and white bot. And not a second too late were these upgrades finished.
Mikey burst through the warehouse doors into the large, dusty space, making [NAME] twist around at the waist and stare down at him, shocked by his sudden entrance.
"KAIJU! OFF THE COAST! LIKE, RIGHT NOW!!" His arms flailed wildly as he tried to talk with his hands and convey his distress. He definitely succeeded in that last part.
"DEADASS?? You're kidding, right?! Aren't they only in the Pacific?!" Their welding items and mask were dropped off into the basket and the rope untied, sending it plummeting down. [NAME] caught the end of the rope, gently lowering it the last of the way quickly as Mikey continued to holler.
"No, no I'm not kidding!! It's moving fast, Dee and Apes are already out there! We gotta go Now!" He was still gesturing wildly, bouncing on his heels like he was about to bolt to suit up. And he was, [NAME] could tell.
"Shit okay!! Go get Leo, tell him to get his blue ass in here!" [NAME] called as they scrambled down the arm with practiced ease.
As if on queue, Leo bolted in and almost knocked Mikey over, clambering up the jeager's leg at surprising speed. Mikey bolted out the instant Leo was in the room, likely because the warehouse holding his and Raph's jeager was down the way a little.
By the time both pilots were inside, in sync and moving, the kaiju was up in the shallows, coming off the coastal shelf. The bots burst from their warehouses, tearing them to splinters. The two bots sprinted through the decrepit storage yard, barreling towards the nearby sea and the other jeager.
Leo and [NAME] moved in tandem, running in place and pumping their arms in sync. The neural handshake was strong as always and practically ensured precision. They sped ahead of Mikey and Raph's jeager, taunting eachother over the comms.
"Damn, you guys are slow today! And that's saying something Mr. Orange-insisted-on-long-ass-legs-on-this-itty-bitty-torso!' Leo panted into the mic, teasing Mikey about his design choices.
"Oh shut up Leo!! Did you even bring medic supplies like you were supposed to?" Mikey was yelling and [NAME] almost had to crank down their comms to stop the oncoming headache, chuckling the entire time.
"No, he didn't Mike." [NAME] faux whispered into the comms, knowing it would be heard by Leo anyways.
"HEY-"
"Guys! We need to handle this as a team, which means no. Fighting!" Raph interjected, cutting Leo off and smashing the red jeager's fist into its palm mid run as if to punctuate his point.
"Hey, hi, hello! We could REALLY use some help right now! Our plasma cannon rounds are low and we don't have any more back at home, so I'd really fucking hate to run out right now!!" April jumped in, sounds of struggle from inside the jeager alongside the screaming of metal and the bellows of the beats could be faintly heard.
"Shit, sorry Apes, we are enroute! ETA is about a minute and a half out!" [NAME] reassured their friend, going faster and pushing themselves to the limit to get there quicker, which in turn made Leo speed up too.
"Yeah yeah, hurry UP!" Donnie interjected. He wasn't really one to talk on comms, so hearing him made everyone realize how bad the situation must be.
Finally close enough, Leo and [NAME] got good visuals on the fight. Running across a large stretch of gravelly sand they could see Donnie and April's jeager, Echo Seven, grappling hand to hand with a giant beast. This kaiju was likely only a category 2, but it was still formidable on the battlefield. The kaiju looked like a pangolin, shark and lionfish all at once, with spines along it's back and arms, scaley plates covering it's body and fin-like legs supporting the whole thing. The head resembled that of a shark with some odd growths and horns.
Even worse, the kaiju towered over the green jeager. This normally wouldn't have been a problem, their jeagers were small, but Echo Seven was that tallest of their little fleet.
Even with the disadvantage of size, the fleet had the advantage of speed and team work. The mace flew past Typhoon Eden, the blue jeager, landing right on the creatures back, crushing spines and causing the kaiju to scream out in pain. Just as the creature whipped around, flailing that long tail of its in an attempt to knock down Brawler Fury, the red jeager. Typhoon Eden, and subsequently the pilots, ducked and rolled underneath the flying tail before sliding across the dunes beneath it's belly. Time seemed to slow as they delivered an uppercut punch, rolling to a stop right beside Echo Seven and the creature was forced to rear back with the force of the blow.
"Thank God, what took y'all so long?!" April hollered over comms.
"Eh, downtown traffic, you know how it is." Leo joked back, earning a small chuckle from [NAME]. They began running the small bot up the bigger bot's back and onto the monster, working seamlessly like a well oiled machine. The kaiju had been mid-turn when Typhoon Eden ascended, the creature moving to attack Brawler Fury. The blue and white bot grabbed tight to the keratin horns and yanked, putting all the force of the bot and their combined fury to the test.
The kaiju's head was reared back again, and Brawler Fury was able to land a few hits to the chest and neck and tangle up it's front legs in the chain. Typhoon Eden's pilots shared a nod and attempted to snap the kaiju's neck and end this battle quickly. Just as the head began to be yanked at a full force by the jeager the monster threw its head forward in an attempt to buck off the mecha.
Typhoon Eden managed to hang on and ride the kaiju like a bucking bronco for a minute, but were ultimately sent tumbling info Brawler Fury, knocking both jeagers back into the sand. During the time it took for that one move to throw off the plan of attack, Donnie had concocted a new one.
"April, under it! If we go under it and plasma blast it we can rip it to shreds!!" Donnie spoke a little too quickly, undecipherable to anybody except those close to him.
Echo Seven tucked in on itself an rolled onto the jeager pile, landing on it's back with it's arms flung wide, as the baest shuddered and collapsed.
"Got it, got it!"
And with that the two of them ran in tandem, falling to their knees and leaning back in a mock power slide. Their plasma cannon ripped and burned through the creatures belly, tearing it from anus to mouth as sickly teal blood began to ooze from the rift and drop onto the sand below.
Shock and joy filled everyone's systems and within a minute all three bots were on their feet, holding each other's shoulders and jumping for joy as the comms lit up with boisterous laughter.
They did it! They'd defeated a kaiju! All on their own! They were as good as actual pilots with no training and half the jeager!
Just as the celebration was coming to an high and the adrenaline rush crashed, a booming voice rang through the atmosphere.
"Unauthorized jeager pilots, exit your jeagers and surrender."
The loud voice was demanding and left no room for contemplation. All four turtles, alongside their human companions, exited the command pods cautiously.
The giant, full sized jeager cast a shadow over the pilots and their bots. The Saber Athena glowered down at the six young adults, who simply stared in awe.
Eventually, and nervously, [NAME] and Raph both waved at the massive jeager, one five fingered hand next to a three fingered one. The pilots of Saber Athena must've been stunned, an educated guess substantiated by the lack of response or movement since the pilots of the rouge jeagers emerged.
The Saber Athena straightened, and one of her pilots cleared their throat before speaking.
"Re-enter your jeagers and retrieve your weapons. Await orders from there. And no funny business. understood?" A different, higher voice came through the comms, presumably the other pilot.
A lot of nodding and a few salutes were sent towards the Saber Athena and her pilots before the children dispersed, splitting off into pairs and disappearing quickly back down the hatches into their jeagers.
Teasing jabs and laughter could be hear over the comms, and the pilots of Saber Athena seemed to relax at the lightheartedness. These kids weren't here to cause trouble, that could've been guessed by the fact that they took down the kaiju instead of the city while they had the chance, but they had been uncertain up until this point.
It wasn't long before all three jeagers were up and running again, and again the voice they'd heard first came over the comms.
"What are your designations and names?" The voice seemed almost softer, but not by much. Enough to allow them room to respond, but still demanding.
The blue and white jeager raised it's hand first as an older teens voice came across the comms.
"Pilot number one here, you can call me Leo. This here is my lovely co-pilot [NAME] and our bot is the Typhoon Eden." The jeager did a theatrical bow followed by a curtsy, one for each pilot assumably.
The giant Saber Athena nodded sharply before directing it's gaze to the next, a green and black robot.
"Hi, hello, I'm April-" The left hand of the jeager waved a little, but rather enthusiastically.
"-And I'm Donnie." The right hand raised in the least enthusiastic wave possible.
"And we're piloting the Echo Seven." Both hands began doing jazz hands, except one was more exaggerated than the other.
Another nod from Saber Athena and a vague salute from the Echo Seven were exchanged before they moved on for the final time. Their gaze directed at the red and black bot seemed to make it stiffen as one of the pilots began to speak.
"Oh, yeah, okay so I'm Mikey, and," The speakers attention seemed to shift from the Saber Athena to someone else, supposedly it's co-pilot. "You wanna introduce yourself?"
The jeager shook its head, before the teen continued.
"Okay, and that's Raph and this is our beloved Brawler Fury!"
The Saber Athena looked from bot to bot before speaking.
"Well, it's easy to assume none of you have licenses. Or experience. Or training." As if to punctuate and add weight to each sentence the giant jeager looked pointedly at each bot, assessing them almost. "And based on how advanced your jeagers are, for hunks of scrap at least, parents who don't care." The higher voice pitched in.
The smaller jeagers all have different reactions. The Typhoon Eden looks ready to launch and attack the Saber Athena, Echo Seven stiffens up and stands at attention, falling completely radio silent as if they weren't already, and the Brawler Fury seems to curl in on itself.
A small crowd of civilians were now gathering nearby on a sight seeing parking area on the side of the road, simply observing. The Saber Athena held a hand out.
"Welcome aboard."
And with nothing else the jeager turned around and began to talk away, turning back after a few steps to see if the smaller jeagers were following. Not one had moved from it's previous spot, but all the stances had gone slack from surprise or relief, maybe both. The Saber Athena nodded its head sharply towards the direction it was walking in and began to move again, except now the pilots could hear the scramble of the three smaller jeagers running to keep up.

this story felt like a fever dream, except the fever never fucking breaks because the pacing is so slow i could sucker punch Flash in the face and he'd still be roiling back from the recoil in the length of time it takes for her to just fucking AGE already. I know she's cute and the art is amazing but there comes a point where it's too much and you start to forget how old she really is. reincarnation or regression or whatever works because the mc can make decisions they hadn't before, and drive the plot quickly in a chosen direction.
where was she driving the plot? well, it was certainly Somewhere. perhaps in five years, give or take, we'll know exactly where.

miss ma'am raised her husband. i refuse to elaborate on this any further. all i can say is i dropped it 5 chapters in and i think it saved me a great deal of mental strife. i thank past me every day for taking the steps to ensure this doesn't get recorded in my brain as a memory more than it already has.
Remarried Empress
no, i did not read the novel. however, i do know that the issues i have with it cannot be resolved even with supplementary information from the novel.
this story is about an empress, born and raised in aristocracy, flawless and perfect in every way, kind and wise to her subjects, divorcing her scumbag husband and finding a better man to become happy. now, i love navier. she's wise, knowledgeable, cool, charismatic, collected.
but she has no flaws. her second spouse is a rich sexy guy that falls at her feet to please her. the duke of another country pines after her, joining her sad lump of an ex-husband sovieshu in abject misery. she's got a parade of equally hot, rich, influential girlfriends to support her.
every character is there to serve navier and make her look good and in comparison, rashta has nothing but her looks, her ambition, her fucking audacity, and --truth be said-- her raging delusion. ironically, in the process of making her the biggest object of hatred, they also made her into the most complex, developed and interesting character in the whole story.
this had the potential of being something great. navier and sovieshu and royalty and politics paint a picture of these empires and kingdoms as full of prosperity and wealth --and yet slavery still exists. a truly amazing novel could've shown a partnership between rashta the slave, who has nothing, and navier the empress, who has everything, and their efforts to reduce social and economic disparities in the land. this shared, difficult goal would have immediately made every character more realistic.
AND the real villain in the story is sovieshu. i'm tired of the relentless, OVERWHELMINGLY more abundant commentary about 'trashta' this and 'trashta' that.
tl;dr: the story accomplishes what it sets out to do. but for this kind of simple, shallow storytelling, surely 100 chaps are enough to wrap it up???? like????

When the Villainess Loves
i don't know how artists get contracted to work on a novel but this artist should have looked at the script and backed away pronto. everyone complains about this one. the majority of us prefer the second male lead with Libertia, which is already a failure in any romance story.
An overwhelming number of readers, me included, would much rather have OG Libertia, thank you. at least she'd have the sense to reject a man as shady as this daniel rando. he LITERALLY started involving himself in her affairs out of nowhere --and then he WOULD NOT leave, like??? go get a job or something? do you have any hobbies or friends or what?
Lady to Queen
a good angsty story has periods of calm and relief and humour that gives the main character something to live for and some hope for improving her life in the future. otherwise, i'm sorry, but it's just tragedy and tragedies are hardly ever written well. they rely on pacing that episodes updated every like two to three weeks just cannot provide. bonus points for the sisterly bond though, and how well the villain was written. i wouldn't have minded if the sister decided to push rosa-whatever down a long flight or stairs 👀
tl;dr: probably not for everyone. i enjoyed some aspects. probably better to read the whole story in one or two sittings.
Today the Villainess Has Fun Again
a typical misunderstood villainess isekai with a ton of money and influence does not make it bad. on the contrary, i was quite enjoying it, until that leopard boy inserted himself into the story with all the grace and elegance of a fucking rock. his personality pissed me off. his interdependence on her pissed me off. the physical age difference made me uncomfortable. the romance was forced.
tl;dr: no thank you

hope this isn't a weird question, but..... i am a bit lost about the whole owynn getting his stinger chomped off during the fight with freddy.......
what exactly happened? (not in the fight i mean. you mentioned freddy getting stung i think but then that would mean he got stung right before he chomped on the stinger? because otherwise once it's already broken it can't sting him)
and in your art i see future (or, well, current) owynn depicted with a stinger. but i thought scorpions couldn't grow their stingers back?
sooo is the current stinger on owynn a fake or artificial one? or did owynn happen to have 2 stingers (that is a thing i think. its very rare between scorpions like 1 in every 5000)? or did it actually grow back due to owynn not being an actual literal scorpion and more of a sort of anthropomorphic version of one (much like the rest of the characters)?

yes they were stung before the stinger was bitten off, thaaat is the correct assumption.
And yeah, yeah ur right that would be the case normally!
However comma due to the scorpion bit being fused and scaled up with the human part we took some liberties with anatomy to make stuff work given how on paper they are completely opposite things.
Small scorpions can and have shown the ability to regenerate though to a smaller scale, and you would be right to think that their tails don't grow back! But that is mostly because they die too fast before it can actually grow back, either lifespan wise or just because of medical stuff that they cannot prevent or treat because they r an animal, however when we scaled scorpions up and made them more human like and all of that jazz we exaggerated some stuff so that it could work anatomically, stuff like the position of the stinger, how venom works, and also as you've pointed out regeneration :D
it mostly stems from wanting to create some common ground between arachnids since all arthropods being so different from eachother is sort of an anatomical nightmare when you compare their differences with the differences between a bear and a fox.
So we kinda yoinked a fun fact about the poster child of arachnids, (being spiders), and spread their ability to regrow limbs to all arachnids, which isn't too crazy since scorpions CAN regenerate just at a way slower pace.
So that alongside, the fact that he has medicine, he is bigger, and he has human attributes, his regeneration is boosted a lot, but it did take him some years to fully grow it back, that's actually why he started braiding it into his hair :9

Hi there could I possibly request some romantic headcanons of Sabo with his s/o, please? (Like what kind of lover he is, how does he court them, what about them made him fall in love) thank you for your time! Stay awesome.
Characters: Sabo (One Piece)
Warnings: None
Genre: Fluff headcanons
Sabo can be protective of his partner, especially if they’re in the Revolutionary Army together. He has no doubt they can handle themselves, but he tends to worry about them.
You’ll not so surprisingly end up on missions with him more often than not. It’s not to keep an eye on you or anything, but since you don’t always get time together outside of missions so he makes up for it by having you on his team so you can have a little bit of time at least. (Dragon catches onto this if the two of you aren’t together yet and he’d never say it, but he thinks it’s cute)
He cannot keep a secret to save his life, so the way he tells you is pretty out of the blue and it’s not something you expect. One moment you’re having a casual conversation and the next, he’s confessing. Internally he’s telling himself to shut up and keep his mouth shut but it slips out. He’s sheepish about it at first and then he owns it.
“Yeah, I’ve always thought you were really cute! But it’s perfectly fine if you don’t feel the same! There’s no pressure at all!” The tips of his ears are red and he’s rubbing the back of his neck while he’s trying to get ahold of himself. It’s not even awkward because of how cute it is and you reassure him that there isn’t any pressure in the first place because you feel the same.
He’s such a gentle lover when he wants to be. He’s fairly hands off (not PDA wise, he enjoys that, but he’s not the kind of person that needs to be around his partner constantly. Mostly due to conflicting schedules the two of you can have if he’s not the one making them. You have to understand that he’s a very high ranking officer and he needs time to himself. Sabo does like to have that alone time every once in a while, but it’s to get work done.) I just mean this in the way that he’s not insecure and he’s not the kind of boyfriend that needs to know what you’re doing at all times. He’s not clingy, he’s very normal.
When using the term “hands off” I also mean he wouldn’t try to insert himself into any plans that you’ve made with friends. He tells you to have fun and be safe. (so again, normal lol)
You can literally trust this with your whole entire heart. He would never in a million years hurt you on purpose. The only time would be if he’s stressed and he ends up snapping at you.
When he asks you on the first date, he does it with flowers. He paces around his office for a while with them in his hands wondering how to ask you. He ends up flubbing a little, but he gets his point across–that he wants to take you out to dinner. But by that he means he’s going to cook for you so he asks about all your favorites. When you’re done with dinner, you both end up on the couch with a glass of wine and talking about everything from silly ‘would you rather’ questions, to more serious questions about each other.
After the two of you have your first date, he leaves a card at your desk telling you how great of a time he had with you and how he would love for this to continue. He puts a little sticky note in with a “check yes or no”
Of course you check yes, but when you’re on your way to put it in his office, you bump into each other and you end up sticking the note to his chest with a smile.

i try to! sometimes i get overwhelmed when a comment is too nice and i want to give it a thoughtful answer and then i procrastinate answering because i don't feel like i have the energy to be thoughtful enough to show how honestly genuinely grateful i am that someone left the comment and then it spirals and i just never reply lol. but i try to at least say thank you to most people because it really does mean so much to me when people comment on my work
6-What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
i am a happy ending girlie at the end of the day but probably flowers because like, things are not going to get better in that au

probably simple song because it is just pure self indulgent romance. but maybe my post mj fic too because we know what happens next and it is happy

(i was actually super offended at the time and i was like fully prepared to delete my entire archive over the comment but im over it now lol.)

no. i try to kind of fade to black or allude to sex because i do feel like it sometimes has relevancy to the plot but i don't really have an interest in writing it in detail

ugh my district 4 au. i have it outlined in such excruciating detail and i have so many scenes that i think would be so fun to write but i just cannot get the beginning to gel and i don't think it ever will
16-What are your writing strengths?
i'm not sure whether to interpret the question as what i think is good *in my writing* or what my strengths are in my process, so i guess i'll try to do both!! i think style-wise i do a nice job of trying to weave the thematic/symbolic threads in my stories together so that they conclude in a way that makes sense from the outset, and i think i have some nice moments of descriptive writing. as far as process, i think i write relatively strong first drafts which definitely makes the editing process more enjoyable
17-What are your writing weaknesses?
style-wise i think i can write some real clunky dialogue (who among us, lol) and i don't always get my pacing right. i also think i have a tendency to repeat certain words or sentence structures too much and i often will skip over things when i am not interested in them and then not edit enough to notice where the story is dragging vs where i'm skipping things. process-wise, i can be slow to think of an initial concept and then when i do have an idea i sometimes get more invested in the outline and the general plot and then i can get very easily bored if the actual writing isn't fun or it's taking a while to get to the scenes i want to write.
18-Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
i don't speak any other language with an appropriate degree of fluency so i wouldn't, but i don't think it would really come up in any of my projects
19-First fandom you wrote for?

under the blossom that hangs on the bough. it does pretty much everything i set out for it to do and i'm very proud of it. there's a couple lines i would change just because i think i wrote them kind of clunky and awkward but overall i think it's probably my best work.

DAY #15: 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭
ugh this is gonna be hard for most without going back through their entire discography, but I'm gonna try me best here. I want to point out that I have always, since getting into rock and metal as a middle schooler, been deeply more prone to recognizing and remembering guitar work and obviously the vocals; it's not a conscious choice, it's just what my brain does, but it does make this a much more difficult question for every single thing besides guitar. So, I'll start with guitar!
(Cut here bc I'm sure this post is gonna be long and yucky formatting-wise)
So my mind could possibly change if I listened to everything again, however I am pretty fucking confident in that for guitar, it's "Mutter." More than anything else, it's that fucking refrain; it sounds entirely overflowing with wrenching pain and sorrow to me, and I cannot BELIEVE Reesh has said he wrote that shit for a wedding, like bitch it makes me want to cry without vocal assistance to set the vibe, holy fucking shit who died at that wedding??????????????? It will regularly give me goosebumps when I listen to the song.

Okay, second-easiest (I think, lol). For Flake's keyboard work, I'm a BIG fat lover of his performance in "Weit weg." I adore synthwave-style musical works, and this sound is just so classic and really does it for me. I think it also helps that I recently binged it for like, a full day for no reason other than it was stuck in my head real bad lmfao

All right, next one: bass. This is one of those more difficult ones, because I think like a great number of people, the bass is astronomically harder to single out in heavier music, unless it's basically the only thing playing (which we stan hard as fuck I wanna hear my Boy), and because of this, I took the time to listen to some bass covers of various tracks to have the sound singled out more, and now, I think I'm going with "Stripped." It's a head-bobber to me!

... aaaaand the hardest: drums. I want to scream from the fucking rooftops that this is no disrespect or disregard for Schneider, he is a vital member of the band that I adore, and drums are so instrumental in establishing the beat of songs, it's just that this is the one instrument that for some reason, my brain doesn't seem to latch onto and remember when I think of the song? It's completely indeliberate, I hear it and it just slides off my smooth-ass brain. 😭 I hate it because I love our dilf drummer so very much, so like this makes me feel so rude and as if I don't care for his part in the band, which couldn't be further from accurate; I reiterate, he's vital, as much as everyone else. All that being said, this is the instrument I am least confident about when picking a favorite, but like for Ollie, I visited a big chunk of songs that made me think "wait I think the drum performance is strong here," so take this one with the biggest grain of salt: I think I'm going with "Eifersucht." I like the fast pace of the drum in this one, and it's super rhythmic, and that's... all my non-drum-intellectual ass has got, lol. I'm that kid critiquing shit they don't know about right now.

Announcement of Writing Hiatus, Yet Too a New Adventure
TLDR: Pausing my writing/fanfics for an indefinite amount of time to pursue drawing. Not abandoning my projects, but need a change of pace.

This post has been brewing for quite a while, but I've been my usual stubborn self and refused to publicly acknowledge my struggles until now. I gave myself a deadline to make a decision, and that deadline is now here, hence this announcement post. However, to explain a little...
Since October of last year ( 2023 ), I've been battling against and contending with an intense bout of writer's block - pretty much right after the 2nd remastered chapter of YCTL released. I also wasn't enjoying myself in the fandom, nor was I content with some of the decisions Atlus was making at the time. With those combined, I genuinely debated leaving/deleting all of my work, as all it brought me was misery. I won't go into too much detail as I don't like airing negativity, but I ultimately decided a break from it all was required, from SMS and such. After a much-needed break and unforeseen support, my volatile emotions ebbed and I managed to see the light again, yet when I tried to return to writing, I felt my heart wasn't as enthusiastic about it as it once was. I even attempted to begin production on Yusuke's B'day fic earlier, thinking that maybe it was the chapter of YCTL holding me down, but that didn't really help either. I was and still am apathetic towards my writing. I don't feel excitement, enjoyment or anything joyus towards it anymore. All I currently feel is frustration and annoyance whenever I try. It's easier to chalk this up to writer's block, because, well, that's ultimately what it is, but it's quite a severe case, unfortunately.
Around New Years, a friend of mine gave me their old drawing touchpad/tablet as they had upgraded, and I've been enjoying experimenting with it and tapping into my childhood hobby/interest since. While doing so definitely has those natural creative frustrations, I've been able to aspire beyond them, and that is ultimately what made me realise what creation should feel like again, and all of the above. It was akin to a wake up moment, one where I realised my relationship with writing as a whole had degraded and just trying to 'willpower' through it was impossible. I do not wish to abandon my projects or writing as a whole, but the reality of the matter is I cannot create anything of worth in my current state - trying to force myself will only lead to hatred, and I really don't want to lose my love for writing more than I already have.
These last 3 months have made it clear I need a change, and so I debated how to proceed forward and ultimately decided it would be wise for me to put my projects on an indefinite hiatus, yet instead of simply mulling over that fact, I should shift my creative energy towards other methods and explore different creative outlets whilst my burnout heals. I, unfortunately, cannot give a timeframe for when I may return to writing, as these issues have a mind of their own, but I'm hopeful this will be a step in the right direction. In the meantime, I plan to pursue drawing again as I've found it rather fun, despite the lulls, but this will primarily be a 'behind the scenes' venture, as I am still very much a fledgling artist and do not harbour any confidence regarding posting my artworks. I'm hopeful pouring my creative energy into something else can facilitate my growth, instead of remaining stagnant as I have the last few months.
As for my accounts, I plan to resume my activities on SMS. I've gone dark the last 2.5 months as I really needed it and wished to spend time with loved ones without these mental pressures, but now that I can see a path forward, I want to enjoy my place within the fandom again. I'll primarily be doing as I always have, posting miscellaneous stuff and supporting other creative individuals - just without the chapter updates and whatnot. Who knows, I may even post some of my artwork that I find decent enough.
To showcase my dedication to this new adventure, I drew a small fanart and wish to share it with you all! I did want to draw something a little more substantial, but the weather here is brutal and there's some other, unrelated, changes occuring in my life at the moment, so I'm rather busy. Regardless, I hope you enjoy this little piece - a piece indicating my wish to forge ahead, no matter its form! ᕙ(✧ヮ✧)ᕗ
This post has been going on long enough, so I'm going to conclude it with a few more words. But ultimately, I am still very passionate and love P5/shukita/kitashu, the form of which I express it is just going to shift for some time! Thank you all so much for your understanding, I honestly wouldn't be here without you all as your support has been paramount throughout the years! I hope this leads to a fruitful future for us all!

I like Kinnporsche but it also feels kinda disconnected at times to me, like it wasn’t really what I was expecting. The vegas and pete stuff is far more what I was expecting for the entire show and while I adore kinn and porsche as a couple I’m a little sad the show has spent so much time on them and now there’s not as much for vegas and pete. Couple-wise the show is great, but plot, pacing, and tone-wise I think it’s a bit turbulent.

KinnPorsche has a little bit of everything: it’s hilarious, it’s heavy, it’s stupid-hot, it's full of heart- it’s unhinged. I can see how the tonal shifts could throw you if you went in with specific expectations, like it’s going to be a Serious Mafia Show, etc.
I have zero issue with the pacing, the tone shifts, and yes- even the VegasPete plotline not starting until basically the final hour (though selfishly I would’ve loved to have had more time with them).
here’s why:
1. I’m a firm believer that the audience shouldn’t have to read or know the source material of an adaptation to appreciate or understand the direction being taken. a good adaptation takes you on that journey all on its own, no additional assistance required.
I can only speak from my perspective, though, and I’ve read the books. I’ve been thrilled at how they’ve kept the overall chaotic, fun feel while removing most of the roughest parts (read: nauseatingly problematic vs. comes-with-mafia-life problematic). maybe I would’ve felt more whiplash from the tonal changes if I wasn’t familiar with the source material, but it’s only served to make me appreciate the show more, not less.
I still kinda-sorta enjoyed the books (in between all the unnecessarily-graphic SA and horrible communication), but I cannot stress enough just how much of an improvement the show is. BOC turned a trash heap into feral fandom gold.
2. the focus of this story is & will always be Kinn & Porsche. that was true for the books & it’s true for the show. they’re the main reason to watch- or the intended main reason to watch, anyway. with that context in mind, the amount of screen time given to their story makes sense.
back to that italicized ‘intended’, though: I suffer from second couple syndrome as much as the next clown. I get that just because we’re supposed to root for a couple or enjoy spending the majority of our watch time with them doesn’t mean we’re going to.
personally, I was grumbling to a couple moots weeks ago about whether or not we’d even get a VegasPete story line at this point. even then, though, I saw it as my personal preference coming into play & didn’t use it as a metric by which to judge the quality of the show (still don’t).
I wasn’t promised a VegasPete-centric story going in, so I’m not going to let my thirst for all things them keep me from enjoying Kinn and Porsche’s story, which I’m very much invested in.
with all that boring stuff out of the way: can you imagine if we do end up getting a second season & get to see more of their story play out? the potential of this volatile, toxic pairing with all its raw chemistry to grow into a beautiful, still dark-and-twisty-but-works for them thing? be still my beating kinky heart.
because love comes in all shades, all colors- some with a little more black & blue (heh) than others.

Stev and Tywin discussing spending time with their children more:
Stev paces in her study as she tries to wrack her head. Two babes she had already brought into this world, over a decade she had been a queen and yet she felt hollow.
A lot of her time went into her work. Work for the small folk, looking over and hearing the council...she was busier than ever.
"If one person was meant to worry so much, people would have two heads", says the calming voice of her husband.
Turning to him, stev sighs. "We need to spend more time with the children"
"the times are busy. Building the realm anew is not an easy feat", Tywin counters arm reaching for his wife who gladly situates herself next to him, his arm wrapping around her waist. "The children will understand in time"
"they don't have to", stev says passionately. "tywin, they are children. We made them. We brought them to this world, they don't owe us the understanding", she says shaking her head. "they owe us nothing but we owe them everything"
Tywin ponders her words. He did miss his sons, not that he could yet admit it out loud. His two big, wise little prince's. "How do we suppose we make the time, hmm?"
"We continue the bedtime tradition we have. We start breaking our fast together", Tywin's eyeroll makes her swat at him and give him a serious look "and then every day we make time for them to play and walk in the gardens. Every single day. Even if it means they are toddling around our studies but we need to do this. Since Tymon stopped nursing we have been spending less time together"
"that is an ambitious plan, my love. Very ambitious and it would lower our value to the realm in productivity", Tywin counters. They had been one of the most productive pairs to ever rule and he wished not to risk it.
Stev cups Tywin's face. "my productivity lowers with every hair of guilt I grow because I am not good enough mother", her lip wobbles as she speaks.
Tywin's heart clenches at her words, as he pulls her into his lap. "they will be children only for a moment before they grow. I want to enjoy the years we have with them as our own", she continues.
Tywin cannot help but agree with her words. Their children were a beautiful pair of boys. Every minute he spent with them, he found reasons to smile. Or more so, he tried to find ways to hide his wide grin.
"Who am I to disobey, my beloved Queen?"

(ik you're very anti stalker peter at the donut shop) but like pace wise, being with other people etc. and then villain wise. but also just for peter/spiderman himself as a character?

in MY dream world, the second movie (which had the stinger of MJ having that “oh shit” moment) is leaning MORE into the Fisk / city drama. I think Secret Wars will have already been a factor by this point so I’d love for the plot to be about Peter, the city, and second guessing everything and everyone. Fisk should be a more pronounced presence at this point that’s running for Mayor, being a Menace and overall causing Spider-Man’s life to be hell.
I want Peter to be a student at ESU, working shitty jobs, maybe even the irony of being a photographer and one at the Bugle you can do this Marvel I believe in you
I want MJ to confront Peter about Everything around the Climax so it’s a Wrinkle in the Narrative. I would CRY for crumbs and explanation for what she’s been doing, who she is, what her family thinks, what her dreams and aspirations are. She confronts him not because she’s still madly in love with him like an idiot but because she deserves BETTER dammit and he FUCKED UP and she wants him to KNOW he fucked up!!!!!
(I haven’t mentioned Ned because realistically I don’t think he’s coming back but if he does, I want him right there with MJ)

Could you elaborate on your hatred for the Mega Man Archie Comics? I'm curious on which parts you find problems with (I presume one part of it is how weirdly connected every space related character is)
Hatred is a very strange word choice you used there (it's more general dislike), your presumption is only a symptom of a larger problem.
That larger problem from that is that Flynn felt the need to connect every little thing for the sake of patting himself in the back with MM story elements that didn't need to be connected or were only connected for the sake of being connected. This is something you see throughout Flynn's work and when he doesn't have 12 years of pre established stuff to work off like he did with Sonic, you can see he genuinely struggles writing a story without needing to reference things or overcomplicate matters in a shallow attempt to seem deep.
Other more major problems from a writing standpoint would be character assassinations with Protoman standing out the worst as being entirely a seperate character from the game one (even when he worked with Wily, Blues never had anything against Light), Tempo and Lalinde's whole shitshow is badly communicated in the work and comes off as more Lalinde being more abusive than cautious, insane mood shifts from characters making wise cracks one panel to crying their eyes out and spouting philosophy the next. Flynn doesn't understand how to write a mature story without resorting to characters angsting or crying.
Original characters are mostly all nothing characters. They don't have a purpose beyond one archetype or strawman, Xander Payne being the worst of this.
The overly literal take on copying the same story structure as the games also extremely hurts its pacing. A good example to see how copying game pacing into comic format works would Ikehara's MM1-7 manga since they're blunt and have decent characterisation.
Other issues include the art ranging from OK at best to god awful at the worst. Funnily enough, the issue about Roll, Splashwoman and Tempo helping rescue efforts during a storm is one of the only good written stories yet is marred by everybody being drawn like fat cows.
Basically, Archie MM is a showcase about why Ian Flynn cannot write a actual story to save his life. It's sloppy, it's bad and worst of all, it's mind numbingly boring.
It was probably for the better the comic died off because I feel like the Capcom mandate of 4 issues per game, pacing and bad writing in general would have completely bastardised things like the entirety of MM4 and 7, as well as butcher Bass and King.

• Now, let's go to the actual wear, featuring "ME!". 😊 You can see these photos of mine, they fit well on both of my ears just like before 👂🙂👍. Sound-wise, the sound quality is the same as I expected 🙂🎶👌, but say cannot be said for the quality of ear hooks. You see, upon wearing these or taking off after hours of listening, the material for the ear hooks feels quite flimsy than the original one. 🪢 👂🎧🤔 My OG audio wire's ear hooks used to have a solid bend without worrying about. On top of that, the wiring itself feels quite light, making it easy to snap after a long use (, as I predict 🤔). Not to mention, the slippery and glossy appearance of the wiring. Though, I'm not sure if this replacement could last as long as the original one. But, we'll see in the endurance durability pace for my new audio wire. On the plus side, it is as comfy as before without hurting my ears; not even once.
• As of today (Dec 15th, 2023), I have no issues whatsoever, so far. I've tested it on my Honor 8C phone to see the function of the controls (play/pause, and the volume buttons), and it worked well. And with the volume controls on my IEM earphones, I don't have to reach my phone just to adjust the volume for hearing purposes. 🎧📲😊👍
Overall & Asking Price:
• Despite material differences between the OG and the replacement one, I'd say if your OG audio wire was busted after the lifespan was dead, a replacement for your current IEM earbuds is a better choice. 🎶🎧😊👍 Not only the audio wire replacements deliver the same quality sound as the original, but they also it'll save your budget, as well, if you have existing functional IEM detachable earpieces. Because some people like me, don't want to spend another spare of regular earphones with no detachable feature, right? Well, okay I guess that is debatable (BUT). 🤔Nonetheless, I think every IEM budget owners should buy this if they so desire. 😊
• As for the price, I order it from Shopee PH for only ₱ 145 [CLICK ME!] 🏷️. 🇵🇭🛒🌐 There's also an additional ₱10 for the pouch, but I rather not spending it. Considering, that I have tons of pouches to used. 🙂 There's also available on Lazada PH [CLICK ME!] 🇵🇭🛒🌐, as well albeit a different price than Shopee 🏷️, plus there's a Type C variant and different style choices.
