i feel like he would be there to get a birthday cake for Collei, (im sorry it just sounds too cute) and you were at the front desk in your apron talking to a customer, when he walked in and ordered. you looked at him, asked what he would like and wrote a note down so you could remember - he ordered a "healthy" cake with green frosting on one side and red on the other with Cuilein anbars on the green side and baron bunnies on the red side. and then he also leaves his number woth the order bc he thinks your cute so you start to become friends. anyway, thats how you met onto when you start dating

you would come over to his house after your shift, or when you both have time, and bring him some baked goods for him and Collei/i feel like they would live together in a modern au, like Tighnari would still be her caretaker, just like in the game/. you and Tighnari would definitely bake together, and you would teach him how to bake certain pastries and stuff, and Collei/+Cyno maybe/could join if they wanted to (it would be so cute wtf). i also think he would be like a florist or smt, like he owns a flower shop, so he would bring you flowers or just plants in general. so the bakery would have a lot of plants that he´s given you. and your family (lovingly) hates him because where tf are they gonna put all these fricking flowers and stuff he gets you every week. tho their happy for you and they also got free decor for the bakery so they don´t really complain.

to him you´re like a rose, beautiful, even if sometimes you sting, he adores you just as much

Albedo

he was just there to study at first, maybe get some coffee and a piece of cake, when he saw you behind the counter he kinda.. uhm.. fell in love at first sight, yeah... anyway now/because of your beauty/he is there studying more often or when you´re there to be exact. your sibling or parent called it out but you denied it and didn´t think much of it. and then he finally asked for your number

when you finally start dating, he would still study at your bakery but it´ll be a little more often. and not only on your shifts but on other family members too, mainly bc he wants to get to know them better. he also brings his little sister, Klee, with him more often so she can meet you and your family + see the bakery. he also would make some artificial things for you, like flowers and stuff, you could either put in your room or around the bakery. yk the flower he makes in his idol or whatever its called, so like one of those or just anything you want really. he could also paint there, but he´ll just start painting you and he doesn´t want other people to think he´s stalking you.

to him you´re like a painting, pretty in many ways, and perfect in his eyes

Kazuha

he would visit the bakery once in a while, finding it relaxing to be there and finding great inspiration for his poems and stories. and something he has noticed is the beautiful person that is sometimes behind the corner/you hehe/and starts to slowly become his muse. he couldn´t help it its like keeping a secret from someone, but sharing it with the world at the same time. he finds himself going to the same place over and over again, only wanting to see your face one more time. (wtf happened to me) while he was unknowingly falling in love with this new muse, you were falling for him. (ok i need to fricking stop, omg)

when you two finally started dating, he still kept you as his muse, but this time you were both aware and laughed a little together because of it. anyway he would be there even more to just sit and write about something, then later in the day/or week if you both were busy/he would read them out to you. and at some point you would start giving him notebooks every few months just so he could write his poetry on something other than the tissues from the bakery(omg that would be so cute and hilarious at the same time). in return he would gift you your favorite flowers and try and learn to bake, even tho its not perfect he tries and you love it. sometimes you´ll bake something with him and teach him properly how to do something/or do it the way your family does it/and then after you eat it together.

to him you're a miracle, your his love, his life, and his muse, he doesn´t know what to do without you now

Cyno

he´s a policeman (the hot kind) and there was an incident with your neighbor bc their store got robbed/in my mind it's a jewelry store but let your mind go wherever/so you got a few questions since you were on your shift at the time they came in. but you then after went into the back/your home to get your parents. and then after he started showing up more both because of the situation but also because he generally liked your pastries and cakes. even after the case ended he still came over on a lot of all of his breaks, maybe it was sometimes to see you but you ofc didn´t need to know that ;)

so when you guys started dating, he would ofc still come over but also look out for you, your family, and the bakery. also in his free time/even tho its not often/he would "help" you with baking. aka your teaching him how to bake bc he can´t for the life of him, but he brags to his friends abt it "cough". anyway, he would love to try some new recipes you find online or in your family cookbook, and help as much as he can. if you made him some pastries for him to take with him to work, he would fall even more `head over heels` in love with you, seriously do it. he would definitely stop anybody that tries to steal anything from the bakery, and get them arrested immediately.

to him your love is like a drug, addicting, but even if he knows it he will still love you for eternity

Nilou

yk the cake she eats in game, that would definitely be the reason you two met. like it would be in the bakery´s window or smt and she would order that with a smile, while you where on your shift ofc. and she would get all exited and stuff. + she thinks the way you and your family make it is much better, so she´s basically a reguler bc she orders at your bakery so often. and then she starts to fall in love with one of the bakers there (you), and so she tries to find out when your shift is and stuff. (my brain couldn´t stop sry, that was a lot)

anyways, when you start dating she would definitely want to try and learn the recipe and bake it with you, but ofc she needs practice so she´ll eat your portion at the start, but you can´t complain you´ve literally done this your whole life ofc you´re better. she´d also want to meet your family early on bc you told her about some baking days when you test new recipes and stuff, so she´d be the taste tester and give tips if she could. aand you would give her discounts for some kisses. she would also dance in the bakery, with you and your family´s content ofc, so she could attract customers with her beautiful dancing.

to her you´re like cake, has many flavors, not all perfect but to her you are too perfect to enjoy only once

Xiao

i see him getting dragged there by some friends/yk aether, venti, kazuha, heizou and then scara is getting dragged there too. so basically 6rezze(sry if thats wrong) or 5wirl, but they aren´t famous/and they drag him to your bakery. bc they wanted to try the cakes and stuff. and your the one behind the counter(idk if thats a good thing or not, but ig it was?). and so you had to deal with some boys yelling at each other while one of them was completely silent/xiao/he just ordered and explained what the rest/but not for heizou, kazuha cuz i feel like they would already have ordered/you just got the pastries and cakes they ordered, and they then sat down seeming to calm down.

after you started dating he wouldn´t come to the bakery often, but he´ll definitely come over like once a week/before was like once or twice a month/and he won´t order much but is just there to support you. otherwise, if he comes to the bakery he´ll just go straight to the back to see you/they know who he is ofc, but for first-time workers that might be weird/and he would be a little sad if you were too busy to give him attention. if you give him some non-sweet cake or pastries he´ll love you even more(i swear thats impossible). he´ll also feed you, and let you feed him in return. if you want him to learn how to bake he´ll do it, but only if you teach him ofc. so there you are in your kitchen with xiao, trying to teach him to bake the non-sweet cake he likes.

you´re like the cakes you make, sweet, although he doesn´t normally like sweet things, he loves you more than anything else

so basically when i was playing thru ztd i had this idea of a post-ztd fic where junpei meets aoi without pretenses (bc in 999 he just knows him as santa and not aoi) and yk. insert haha funny shenanigans. but then i realized thats Boring so i scrapped that. then i wrote a fic abt akane and aoi's strained relationship post 999. though i didnt finish it. and THEN i had an idea where the kurashiki siblings, the klim family and junpei go on a roadtrip only to witness a murder. but never wrote it. so this fic was born, basically combining all those ideas (akane and aoi's strained relationship, aoi and junpei meeting, and the kurashikis interacting w the klims also junpei is there). the idea of focusing on akane's trauma was bc i was reading someone's analysis post abt the subject

akane as a character is someone i resonate with a lot but i wont go into that bc thats Personal! and it sucks how canon barely acknowledges her trauma and how she struggles and maybe even comes to terms w it. 999, in essence, is abt the cycle of trauma. its abt akane regaining agency, recreating the environment that traumatized her. which makes sense as to why she acts the way she does in ztd (rlly unstable, panicky, doesnt have a plan despite usually calculating and in control. like she literally got kidnapped Again and isnt around sigma and phi who she initially planned with, why do u expect her to act like she usually does. i wish ppl understood this abt her character). 

so in a post-ztd scenario, where she's supposed to be in a safe environment without planning any nonary games or saving the world, she feels like she's lost control which she feels she desperately needs to stay on top. so she dives herself into work and controls every aspect of herself and her relationships to the point where it makes her physically ill fhdjhfd but i promise theres a lighthearted aspect but i wont cross that bridge till we get there

As you cover, Rufus is coming to HQ before his dad is killed. This directly conflicts with the OG that makes a point of contacting him after - so is something to note. He is coming to kill his father for sure, because hes coming with coins that he's made to celebrate his own rule that isnt yet started

Now AVALANCHE being expanded in Re, it would make so much sense to retain Rufus's connection with them from BC, if only to add some spice and interest. Specifically though, repeatedly in the game before this Barret's cell talks about lacking direct connection with the main group, and that they are disliked by them. I do not believe Wedge would be able to get them to storm ShinRa HQ just because he asked (we also know AVALANCHE has some decently high level ShinRa leak but thats not expanded on in detail). AVALANCHE isnt coming because of Wedge

but i think it expands beyond that The Turks drop the plate, but Tseng explicitly states that if they didn't someone else would have. But to do it themselves means they are in control of timing and aware of all the details. They drop the plate, they blame AVALANCHE - so when the main AVALANCHE cell attacks HQ, it makes sense. Its all interconnected, this is the chance Rufus was looking for Tseng is also willing for the first time in 13 years to bring aerith in to ShinrRa - you can argue that this is because he expects ShinRa to change hands very soon and he felt it would be safer to bring her in now than it would be at another point i also add that Tseng is quite pushy on telling Reno to rest, to remove his injured Turk from a situation that will deolve into violence

I think Tseng and Rufus were planning a coup - a reactionary attack from AVALANCHE as cover for patricide, with a smooth ascension of Rufus Shinra to the throne. That Sephiroth and the whispers are involved was not planned, and i think itd be funny if rufus was a little pissy someone got to his dad first

ok im jumping off that tangent to think about how heavily ace attorney plays into themes of facades & masks. like its the part I most love Kristoph for but now I'm thinking about it, the motif is everywhere. in Dahlia, of course, as she also presents a soft, delicate side that hides her cruel interior (although she is less insufferably polite and moreso just self-infantalising which is why I never really latched onto her as I did Kristoph), but also in Godot/Diego, who. literally wears a mask. but also conceals his reasons behind why he hated Phoenix, how his mask showed not only that but also how he was unwilling to face his past, unwilling to forgive, unwilling to let go and accept what happened, happened.

anyways who wants to hear abt the absolutely insane larp session i had last night where sev got offered scourge cause im still losing my mind over this

copy pasted from discord bc im not typing this all out again so yall can live w the spelling mistakes its just spice to show how excited i was/am

night started like pretty normal- sev and some of their pseudo-coterie had a scene investigating what we thought was like some kind of shadow orb but which turned out to be just the worlds fattest black cormorant ghoul. like the thing was literally the size of a beachball and sev got some weird looks for saying they wanted to kick it or like stick it with a pin to see if it would fly around like a ballon bc thats the kind of out of pocket shit you say when you're at humanity 5. gangrel guy talked to it and found out it used to be a ghoul for the old nosferatu primogen that had been killed in an explosion that wiped out the whole council back in june, but it has since been re ghouled by another nosferatu. nothing else really interesting in the area so we all head back to elysium

when we get there all the primogen are consipculously absent along w the prince and they've been gone in some side room talking for like the whole first hour and a half of the game. very tense energy in the main area even though no one can really put a pin on a reason for it. sev talks w the resident giovanni, Ms King, finds out she's been having some problems hunting and is really low on blood. so he offers her the use of his herd over the next couple of weeks if she needs a top up and doesn't mind them being a bit dosed up since sev's herd is all junkies. she offers a major boon in return, but sev downgrades it to a minor bc they don't want people to think they're ripping her off and its only 1 dot anyways. its all off the books though, because the harpy had been given the Undesireable status by the keeper last game so he couldn't come to elysium.

a bit after that is when the shitstorm starts really brewing bc sev gets pulled aside by the scourge, marcus, who they're on pretty good terms with at this point, and told that shit is gonna hit the fan when the primogen come back and that they should keep their head down and if they catch any strays they should come to him. about ten minutes later the prince storms out of the meeting and sev catches him saying "well it's not my meeting anymore it's theirs."

they then go over to talk to lennox, the tremere elder they serve as a bodyguard to bc they owe their sire (and who is played by my friend who i got into this game w me), and they tell sev that they'd heard the malk and nos primogen talking about praxis before the meeting started, and also that they had used their influence w the media to see a draft of some of the news this week that indicated that, as sev had suspected, the ventrue who was bloodhunted and killed last week for breaking the masquerade by overfeeding a military base and spreading some sort of disease, was not in fact the guilty party because now the exact same thing is happening in a different area and one of the people who got sick remembers being attacked by a "goth chick" which is a pretty wide demographic but def does not match the ventrue who got got.

so sev goes back to his little pseudo-coterie (the like 6 other kindred in the city who aren't pillar clans) and shares the tea, everyone tries to joke around abt the situation and make bets on who's going to be the next prince. sev guesses it'll be either Mr Light, the malkavian primogen, since he's seemed like the most competent person on the council even if he's kind of in the dog house right now for the suspicious circumstances of "his" new childe's embrace and for bringing said childe around to elysium without them being released let along acknowledged, or it'll be Ambrose- one of the nosferatu elders (the oldest kindred in the city in fact) who was previously Seneschal and has been hoarding major boons from people (sev included, for being given a sizable chunk of nosferatu territory)

when the primogen council does finally emerge it turns out sev was partially right. Absinthe, the nosferatu primogen is the one to make the announcement that the council has made a vote of no confidence towards the prince, and with 5 out of 7 on board (the banu haquim abstained and the tremere was against it since the now-ex prince was tremere) they're able to expend their statuses as primogen and give them up to strip the prince of his authority as well, which subsequently immediately renders everyone who held a title in the court out of a job and everyone in the city unacknowledged so no one can use any innate status powers either.

literally not a second after the words leave absinthe's mouth ambrose stands up and declares praxis

unfortunately for him, ambrose is a bit of a black sheep and doesn't really have anyone who would actually back him up outside of being told to in order to fulfil a boon. absinthe points this out, and publically shames him for even trying to pull this shit since she's the only reason he's even been allowed to stay in the city. Absinthe then declares that actually She is going to be prince, and already has the support of all the other (now-ex) primogen who voted to remove the prince with her, and subsequently their clans. the previous prince, having known this was going to happen already, decides to make what their player would after the game call the "smart choice instead of the fun one" and speak up in support of absinthe as their successor.

ambrose and absinthe then escalate into a like. seriously personal shouting match in front of literally every one making it very clear that they have some serious history and this isnt the first time they've gone over this. Absinthe tells him to leave elysium to spare himself further embarassment and they will deal with him privately back in the warrens. ambrose then decides to use FUCKING DOMINATE and tell HER to leave instead. he fails. and literally everyone with awareness, like over half the room, makes a mass skill test against the st to see if they detect the failed use of a discipline.

also at this point id like to note that ambrose has been standing up on like a little stage in the back of the church where we play and there's like a little table and some chairs up there where sev and their coterie usually hang out and i'm still sitting there and only just realize that everyone else has left so i like awkwardly sneak down into the pews while the awareness test is happening since sev doesnt have that skill

anyways. one of the people who succeeds the awareness test is this banu haqim neonate who apparently has balls of steel because he decides to put an end to this by using quietus to drop silence over ambrose and give his new prince a chance to address the crowd instead of dealing with her unruly clanmate

absinthe again tells ambrose to get lost, this time much less politely, and he vanishes with obfuscate and a merit that makes it so no amount of auspex can detect him. presumably he has left elysium, though in reality he lingers around for a while longer. Prince Absinthe, unchallenged by anyone else, brings everything back to order, and says that clans should gather to decide if they're going to change their primogen, and than anyone who isn't a tremere and was acknowledged by the previous prince can come see her to be reacknowledged.

sev and their gaggle of misfits end up at the back of the line, as is their lot in life, but everyone except the giovanni (who wasn't technically acknowledged in the first place but officially permitted to remain in the city, and has the relationship easily re-esablished) is reacknowledged relatively painlessly.

in an unconventional move, the previous prince had allowed the one remaining loyal brujah of the city to speak as primogen for the collective non-pillars. there's some doubt between us, as we stand in line, as to whether absinthe is going to let this arrangement stand since he had attacked her in a frenzy at the last game when the ex-prince had burnt the body of the bloodhunted ventrue and the fire set him off.

thankfully, the new prince says that he can remain in his position if we, his constituants, still want him to, but that if we don't want him we're not getting anyone (understandable since the only other elder among us is an ex-sabbat gangrel who is a confirmed-but-forgiven diablerist) and we decide if it ain't broke don't fix it

after that sev finds out that, though they're technically still unacknowledged bc absinthe won't talk to the tremere yet, lennox had almost won primogen for the tremere. obviously, no one was going to accept the previous prince as primogen, and aside from len the only other elder is the regent who thinks that camarilla status is a joke and doesn't want any part in it. in the last administration, on the reccomendation of the regent as a sort of fuck you the primogen had been a neonate, and len thinks that if they'd had just a couple more weeks to win people over they'd have snatched the job from her easily. but unfotunately, she's actually been doing pretty well and len's only real bid was that they were the only elder willing and able. len does still end up as whip though.

also, because ambrose in unacknowledged, sev had lost the Favoured status he had given them (which is honestly for the better, being seen as ambrose's protege was not great for his image but he hadn't really been in a position to refuse at the time), and lennox gives sev their Favour to replace it

and then, speak of the fucking devil, ambrose reappears. he comes in through the doors to elysium beelining for sev. i never get to find out what he wanted me for though, since hot on his tail is the ex-prince who snipes him in the back with a force bolt. the malk primogen swiftly steps in and hits them both with a mind whammy that put them into a catatonic state. the st presiding over this then states that because the doors were open, passing mortals outside definatly saw ambrose get like telekinetically blasted back and then both him and the ex-prince have what looks like some kind of mental break down, and that since blood has now been shed on elysium grounds it is immediately deconsecrated. mr light then orders a bunch of his clanmates to go out and clean up the breach with dominate, and absinthe comes back into the main room like Motherfuckers I Looked Away For Ten Minutes, and demands that those responsible speak up. both of them are still in a fugue though, so the tremere primogen answers for it, saying that she will take full responsiblility for her clanmate's actions, and absinthe pulls her and the scourge (who is also nosferatu) into a side room.

when ambrose and magna recover the keeper takes custody of them, and wolfram (the aforementioned diablerist gangrel elder) gives the ex-prince a Warned status on top of the Disgraced he instantly got for ruining elysium.

when absinthe is done meeting w the tremere and the scourge, she comes out to pronounce ambrose Disgraced as well, but says magna is going to simply suffer that natural consequences of his actions since violence on elysium grounds automatically makes you Disgraced for a year. she also announces that the previous ventrue primogen is going to be her seneschal, and the new ventrue that the clan has named to replace her, as well as that the previous harpy is now no longer undesireable and in fact is the new keeper of elysium, with his sub-harpy replacing him. and then she says that the nosferatu are currently undecided on their primogen.

which makes sense because absinthe used to primogen, but can't anymore because she's prince, and the only other elder is Ambrose which. yeah. so the next best choice is marcus, the scourge, because he's a prodigal ancilla which means he's socially an elder even though he isn't one by blood or age.

but then. some one would need to step in to his role a scourge. and just before the sts call it for the night bc we're already and hour and a half over the usual end time, marcus comes to sev and explains this whole situation and asks them if they would take the job should he nominate them and have the prince grant them the Exempt status (which would overrule the restriction they have from being an Unreliable clan that prevents them from holding any rank in the sect) and obviously i fucking say yes

so yeah. WILD FUCKING GAME

doedipus did a giovanna season 3 wishlist and she's a lot fighting game smarter than me but im gonna do one for ramlethal still:

fix 2d: 2k 2d needs to always combo. this is non negotiable. that is all.

command high (6k): it's ok if it's slow, it doesnt need to do almost any damage. but ramlethal doesnt even have a single special that hits high. she doesnt have gap closers to play a pure zoning game, and thats fine, everyone likes to run up and scratch anyhow. but her current pressure loops are literally Solved. even w the tightest most optimal strings and combos and rekka cancels, there is literally no opportunity to mix up an enemy, which makes her unviable as a strike throw as well. existing as a hybrid is one thing, but making ram players rely on pure next level galaxy brain RPS for every second of every round is not in line w the gameplan of any other viable character. give her a high to crack them open. and let it combo too! alternatively,

command grab: the easy way out. was just talking abt this and it fixes the same issue as last one, esp if it bounces. simple as. but for me it rly does not fit in with rams focus on amazing frame data and superior reads leading to big rewards. so,

pure movement special: how many times have u dauro'd or sildo'd just to close the gap and, naturally, got smacked? how many times have u sat at a distance grinding yr teeth losing neutral bc u wanna move but dont wanna get smacked? give ram a special dash, or some sort of aerial movement thing that leaves her able to act. a fakeout version of either dauro or sildo would fit naturally into her gameplan of "player choices win neutral not moves," allowing her to close gap and do nothing, close gap and dash over, close gap and back up to re-gap, etc. her dash speed is amazing, definitely, but dashblock just isnt enough in this game when blocking at all can put you into an infinite fear loop. make it throwable on read for all i care, but i dont think this is a big ask; im not even asking for a low profile gap closer/counter hitter like every other character in the game has! just let her get close, quickly, safely!

delay setups with swords: theyre giving everyone new specials, and ram already has a resource right there: two swords. currently they have exactly one use, mid projectile pressure, and theyre good at it. but this becomes unusable except as confirm in high level play, esp in corner pressure (the good players know to block low and when to press a button). i dont have an exact proposal but my idea to expand their use would be something similar to her xrd sword setups: a delayed disjoint mine, one in the air one on the ground. using the move expends the sword in the same way as shoot, but instead of applying brief unworrying projectile pressure it locks an opponent into their position, further opening rams approach and increasing mental stack. all part of her current gameplan but more. we're smart enough to figure out setups i promise daisuke.

improve js startup by like 2: if u get the read on yr opponent doing dumb jump in u should always win. i shouldnt be trading with like baiken jp or whatever the fuck. im the zoner, and this is my only real zoning move. im not asking for a ground to air, or a dp, or a diff followup, anything. and this wont be any different towards moves it already beats. just let my js hit. please.

Ok so for the first question there actually isn’t a lot of crossover save for one story arc in Rebellion (the sonic boom/underground crossover one, also sometimes referred to as SB:U or Trouble Keeps you Running Faster (or TKYRF for short) bc I struggled to name it for a while). In that arc, the Phantom Ruby ends up traveling through dimensions after Infinite’s defeat in the Reloaded dimension (which is the paracosm that’s just a rewritten version of the games with some OCs added).

Sage and the Infinite from Rebellion end up tracking it down, and Rebellion!Infinite feels a strange pull towards the Ruby, while Sage has analyzed it and believes that it will help her to more efficiently protect her family and allies. The two end up fighting over it, but Sage gets it, only for Reloaded!Infinite’s influence to corrupt her almost immediately, as he’s trapped inside the Phantom Ruby. (He was also the one drawing his alternate dimension self to take the Ruby)

Also it may be subject to change but here's what she looks like when she's under the Phantom Ruby's control

ANYWAYS a lot of stuff happens in that arc that im not gonna get into bc what's important to this question is that when she goes into the Phantom Ruby to confront Reloaded!Infinite, she ends up going into his memories and encountering facsimiles of the people he encountered in his dimension. They're not identical to how they actually appear in that paracosm, as their characterizations and even appearances are filtered through Infinite's perception of them.

So, while there is a crossover, the only actual crossover character interaction is between Sage and Infinite, and replicas of the cast from Reloaded.

As for underdeveloped characters, I'm not exactly sure. I feel that I have their characters all fleshed out pretty well, even down to the side characters. However, I do run into the problem of under-utilizing them pretty frequently, and that characters tend to not do much for the plot unless its an arc solely dedicated to them, like Amy's arc about losing her hammer, and how Knuckles seems kinda locked into his storyline about finding the Master Emerald shards, and neither of them do much outside of that.

Only a few characters straight up don't have their own arcs, like Silver.

The focus 100% bounces around depending on the story arc, sometimes even straight up focusing on complete side characters. Like I said before, Knuckles and Amy get their own story arcs, Knuckles recovering pieces of the Master Emerald and with it, his memories, and Amy losing her hammer and learning to not base her entire worth and identity on one singular skill. There's also Sonic re-bonding with his siblings, Sonia learning to let herself relax and not forcing herself to take on the burden of the entire rebellion, and Manic's character arc about trying to hide his PTSD from being held captive bc he doesn't want his siblings to split apart again, and how he eventually discovers healthy coping mechanisms to help him recover.

There's ALSO the birth of Team Chaotix, with Espio being introduced as an antagonist with a bunch of other mercenary side characters, until Vector finds out that he's just a struggling teenager trying to take care of his little brother.

hehehe!! as mentioned before, i use him a lot w jean! i dont have much to say about his personality or lore since i think what i would say are things that things that have been echoed by a lot of other people. but in terms of the game and gameplay wise, i super love his novelty. his gameplay is completely not reliant on elemental reactions at all which i SUPER love. i think i told this story already, but like. for a good chunk of genshin i legit didnt know we were supposed to build teams around elemental reactions. bc my first two limited 5* charas that i got were xiao and eula, whose whole playstyle revolves around being a "selfish" dps who does crazy consolidated dmg. and i thought elemental reactions in genshin worked like pokemon where it was like... "ok water beats fire. i guess i shouldnt put hydro and pyro charas in the same team!" <- a complete fool. that was the opposite lesson you had to learn.

i think he's been my main dps ever since i got him! in 1.3, so february last year. right now i switch between yanfei elemental reaction team, ayaka + yelan freeze team, and xiao hypercarry with bennett and xiangling as supports. he's super fun to play as, though i wish he wouldnt cause enemies around him to get knocked back as i plunge using his burst TwT

Okay so. This one is a fanfic of a universe that i created with my fiancé. Looooonnnggg ago in the timeline, there was a war between mutants and humans. Governments were kidnapping people who had supernatural abilities. This ranged from people with powers like firebenders or other avatar esque abilities, vampires, werewolves, basically anything that was human shaped, but had upgrades.

I have a character named Liz. Used to be a cop with an alt aesthetic. Got fired because she had ice abilities (daughter of the devil, don't ask why ice I just thought it'd be a cool contrast to her fiery temper). Then realized "oh fuck I'm the reason why ACAB exists. Yeah fuck cops I shouldn't have been there but also.... why are these people disappearing.

She rallies for inquest upon inquest to be made. She has a daughter with prophet and ice abilities. She has a grandaughter who glows like a damn magical girl when she's excited. Then she finds out about the whole experimenting, super soldiers thing.

So she starts a war, her right hand man being a dwarf from one of the two underground kingdoms. It goes well at first, but then slowly she just keeps getting her ass kicked. Time to turn into a vampire, get more vicious with her fighting. That's not enough. She goes to hell and says "dad. Make me the spirit of vengeance." Ghost rider time. Around this time there's some motherfucker who hid away her daughter's husband, HER wife, and her son Asher. In another dimension. Only be brought back by remembering them. The fight gets more intense.

The motherfucker, known as Datan, takes her son Asher. She goes to get him back. Datan takes out the spirit of vengeance, and then just fuckin kills her.

THATS THE BACKSTORY.

Where we start is after she spent a few months in hell, and arrived back on earth in a freshly nephilim (bc not really human) body.

She realizes. Oh this is going so wrong. We can't afford to lose. But everyone's losing faith, and people win wars on faith and ability. We have the damn ability. Just not the faith.... hm. So this fic is essentially Elizabeth leaning into her devil parentage. She is still the spirit of vengeance, death itself cannot stand to touch her. She is the birthgiver of prophecy, the sister of sin. It's a 5'1 punk who can't keep her mouth clean, trying to become a god. I don't have much in it, but I like it.

Note: for those curious about the character herself, I DO have a completed work about her in a different canon, it was a horror game with some friends I had slotted her in so she wasnt the war harbinger she is here but still the characterization isn't that much different

i think shin min kyu liked ji min from the start. he just didn't know it when he chose ji young as who he'd like on instinct. he should have known he liked ji min instinctively. at first sight.

thats y i find it hard .. like i want to have friends and sometimes guy friends seem more comfortable to have . but how much of a distance should i keep?? like.. what if i feel comfortable with an attached guy totally as friends and i am totally definitely not want to break a couple up, but my church believes strongly in distancing from other females other than the gf/wife.

i'm actually rooting for yisoo. bc jiyoung has the other 3 guys liking her already... even if she likes minkyu that much, i hope minkyu likes yi soo or even ji min or jumi instead. gotta be fair yknow..(n not like im jy's fan or anyth. if i like sm1 a lot thn i would root for that person regardless)

also cassie, in true middle child fashion, is the only daughter without a sound line about mother praising her (even in her hidden dialogue from the sound files, her quotes involve excitement about what Cina’s gonna do, nothing about praise) meanwhile bela and dani both have lines about receiving praise and being mommas favorite. Dani has a line about mother being scary, but laughs it off, so i doubt any of Cina’s anger has ever actually been directed at her (we already see if you find cass and cina’s hidden scenes, she tends to be harder on cass, yelled at her for ethan killing bela and dani, and only found out she died too when she called her to likely apologize for lashing out.)

anyways i do believe that’s why cassie goes out of her way to hunt, make decorations from her kills, she even tells ethan that she’ll make his blood a centerpiece for their party. bela claims she, as the eldest, has to do all the work and none of the others are useful. Dani doesn’t really say anything but good things about her sisters, but also seems disappointed in them for not playing with her, or being too ‘boring’.

Cass mostly wants to please them, even saying she’ll just have a bite before giving bela a call so she can take her share. Plus, Bela’s soundline of saying everything happening was somehow Cassandra’s fault lol.

I think the game and soundlines combined kind fo show they fall into that generalization of: eldest child got some of the best treatment, but still claims theyre always fixing everything. middle child does their best, but gets blamed or ignored for the most part, and it leads to trying way too hard. youngest is spoiled beyond belief and its kind of funny.

anyways cassie is always taking the brunt of everything but still loves her sisters more than anything except momma, and even when momma’s harder on her than her sisters she still wants to do everything in the world to make momma proud, and lbr ethan rly lost out by not taking notice of the girls traits and trying to turn them against each other. do i think it’d fail? yes. would it add anything to the gameplay? yes and no, since we knew well before the game came out that they’d all die anyways bc its res and thats what happens.

do i also think it would make the aus ppl have of ethan meeting/fighting heisenberg first and then turning everyone against miranda after his talks w heisy, thus making it so most of them had more of a chance of surviving, have even more footing bc the girls already dont care abt granny, rhey care abt momma and if momma is being mistreated, they’re gonna care a whole lot more than abt whatever else is going on? yeah. especially where cassie’s concerned because she already holds her sisters and momma above everything else. and pointing out that miranda didnt give a shit if her sisters died, let alone cina? Yeah, cassie wouldnt turn back on fighting granny if she knew about that lol

tbh from game knowledge we don’t know bc the game is so unbelievably vague on it and the continuity from the concept art to the game art itself and even in game continuity just isnt there

like the game art, the girls dont even all have the tattoo, only bela does, cass is filling in and dani’s is only the bottom sword, which implies it forms with age, but then in game all three are at the same level

theres a painting when you first enter the castle titled ‘three daughters’ that shows the girls all w brown hair and no forehead tattoos, and look nothing like their game counterparts, but i think the devs just didnt feel like editing it tbh bc it is actually just a real painting they used (ill look for it later n post it!!!” and then another real painting they used as inspo, a woman on a sick bed, they redid to have as daniela in a sick bed as miranda infects her with the cadou parasite, and daniela is already a ginger and already has the complete tattoo as a (maybe living) human pre infection, which could imply she was one of mirandas cult followers before she was infected and became one of alcina’s daughters. Plus the painting not having the tattoos but having their names doesnt make sense anyways since, even if it was while they were human, they didnt get their names until after their death and rebirth when Alcina watched them wake up and instantly loved them as a mother.

since the devs are working on dlc rn i wanted to wait to see if they do anything with it before doing any like confirmation headcanons or anything on what i think the tattoos represent (since the girls are labeled by the actresses and game files as witch sisters ive formed some ideas) and i know i probably could just do the headcanons now and change them later when the dlc comes out since.. its capcom, it took them like two years to release the last dlc for re7 so itll be awhile prolly before the village dlc is actually out, but canon wise their meaning is inconclusive since theres pretty much no continuity in them.

Since i really liked a lot of the village concepts capcom didnt end up using (coughs lycan chris trying to fight off the infection also ada helping ethan coUGHS) I actually wanted to go with an idea of like, Bela being the only one woth the full tattoo and fully fleshed out powers because she tries so hard, Cass is almost there but because she cares so little about everything but hunting it hinders her ability for it to fully form, and dani’s is the least fully developed (so it looks like the sisters but some of the super intricate details i can find a photo of later arent there, like some of the leaves and petals) because she’s too in her head to care about all that stuff like her sisters are.
