*places down silly Dream!tale au and proceeds to info dump*

OK- so

The main thing that’s changed in this AU is that Nightmares bully’s go missing after a while and Dream is completely dismissive about it even though they were his ‘friends’

After a while Nightmare is bullied again by some other kids because they think Nightmare had something to do with the other kid’s disappearance, anyways those kids go missing too and then a loop of new bullies that go missing happens until the Village is like ‘ok bro, we’re gonna have to get rid of the problem here’ and go mob mode on Nightmare (causing the apple incident)

During the apple incident Dream is gobsmacked that all those kids going missing would cause this to happen (aka he was killing the kids-) and realizes that he might have messed up by keeping the village alive

(then he turns into a statue for 500yrs and Nightmare forms the Bad Sanses or whatever they’re called)

Dream breaks out of the statue and goes to hunt Nightmare down but finds Ink instead, which causes them to form the Star Sanses (and recruit Swap)

When Dream finds out Nightmare is the ‘bad guy’ he is fighting he almost immediately becomes a traitor to the Stars and feeds Nightmare important info when they fight one on one (which greatly confuses Nightmare into thinking his brother is an idiot)

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA DOGS AU ORIGINS AND EXPLANATIONS + DRAWINGS!

So! We still have Baron Draxum and his warrior scientist thing going on, but he’s gone a bit of a different route! He’s decided to try mixing different species to try and create the ultimate weapon, and he has decided to start with wolves, turtles, and the champion of the Battle Nexus (still Lou Jitsu)!

Since wolves have their size, a reasonable amount of trainability, and enhances senses, he thought they would be the best choice for the base species. It also helped that wolves were pack animals and worked best as a team while also being able to be self-sufficient should the need arise. He had sent Huggin and Munnin off to the surface to get him a litter of wolf pups, and they end up finding these little guys!

They all were left in their mother’s den, as she had unfortunately been hunted and forced to leave the four pups on their lonesome at only a few days old. Draxum deemed them perfect and set to work collecting his turtles!

He decided different species would add a variety of skills among the subjects that would make them perfect for war. He had chosen which pup would be crossed with which turtle over the course of a week, as he had to get a sense for who would be the most compatible. Of course, we continue along the canon line and Lou Jitsu is acquired and brought to Draxum’s lab. He practically fell in love with the pups and turtles alike, affectionately calling them nicknames.

The night comes where Draxum has readied his mutagen and, after a row of small tests on the animals to make sure they would be alright through the process, he began the mutation. The combination of wolf, turtle, and human could begin to give him the perfect beginning to his army!

As we all know, it doesn’t all go according to plan; the mutation chambers break and Draxum’s lab begins to fall apart! Lou Jitsu goes to save all of the little animals and bring them back to the surface to give them a home when he realizes there are only four animals instead of eight! The turtles and wolf pups have fused together to make a wolf-turtle mutant with the mix of human DNA, leaving the poor things unable to lead a normal life with their fellow canines.

Lou Jitsu scoops them up and runs back to where he knows the surface is safe whilst battling against the clock of his own mutation into a rat. He takes cover in the sewers of New York City, finding them a relatively clean area to call home for however long they must. The pups start to wake up and climb all over the now rat-turned Lou, who struggles with setting them down in time to make sure they don’t hurt themselves.

Years go on, and the pups aren’t growing at the natural rate regular wolves would. Lou only knows this from his memories of his own childhood dogs who would be twice their size by the time they were a year old! These pups were still small, only having grown an inch or so when they should be fully grown at 3 years old, and they still acted like puppies playing around with their siblings. Only then does it strike him that his own DNA that had mixed with them must have slowed down their aging cycle, leading them to have more of a human lifespan than that of a regular canine’s. His own DNA isn’t the only thing that has caused changes; the turtle DNA has caused a change in their physiology. Their backs and stomachs are harder with courser fur compared to the softness when they were still regular wolf pups. This led to less physical stomach and back injuries for everyone due to this resistance!

He also takes note of how the four interact vocally. Michelangelo and Leonardo both lean to higher pitched chirp-like yips and barks, while Donatello and Raphael lean more to chestier huffs and grunts. It only made sense that the order of birth had gone Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, then Michelangelo when their mother had them in the wild. To differentiate the four (and to make them easier to grab when they inevitably got into something), Lou had found some cloth of four varying colors and tied them into small bandanas for the brothers.

As they grew up, the boys started learning how to speak from listening to Lou talk to himself and from the old movies he watched. The rat was very surprised when he heard a yelp, then saw little Leonardo hobble over to him with his paw held in the air. “Spl…Splinter!” He had cried, holding up the hurting paw. Ever since then, the boys all started to call the rat “Splinter”, even though Leo had only said it because he had gotten hurt by one (Splinter wasn’t going to look too deep into that).

When it came to milestones, the order goes as follows: Leo learned how to talk first, Raph learned how to walk on his hind legs first, Donnie learned how to read first, and Mikey was the first one to open his eyes and his ears. Splinter has many photos of them all growing up that he never hesitates to break out during birthdays, holidays, the first time April came over, everything!

Some more fun facts about how this changes the boys in little ways:

Leo is hard of hearing. Red Eared Sliders, and turtles in general, are known for having horrible hearing but great eyesight. That was a trait that passed to Leo. He doesn’t mind it, but when they are teens and after the invasion (hehe ASL au), Donnie makes him hearing aids to help him.

All of the boys are allergic to chocolate! Much like regular dogs, chocolate can be lethal for them if eaten in large quantities, and can make them sick if eaten just a little bit.

The boys LOVE fruit. It’s a mix of their turtle and canine sides, and they love it as a little treat. Leo and Mikey love peanut butter as well, but they have it extremely rarely due to Raph’s allergy and Donnie never buys any since he doesn’t like it.

The human disguise au takes place before/ during the events of volume 1. When the archangel Gabriel finds himself outside of his ‘tomb of sand’ prison for the first time in a very long time. He doesn’t know how or why he had been set free, but he finds himself at the Heathcliff family's house at the same time as what would usually be Mark’s death in the timeline. Effectively temporarily scaring off the alternate of Cesar and saving Mark’s life. Mark is obviously pretty shaken up by everything that has just happened. Gabriel is not much better, having been stuck in a 'tomb of sand' for 2,000+ years. But Gabriel sees this as a sign from God (despite God being dead). He believes, somehow, he had been given another chance to right his past failures. Gabriel tells Mark he wants to help humanity. So Gabriel ends up staying on earth and living with Mark and his sister Sarah. Trying to stop the alternates and Lucifer with their (and some others) help. He disguises himself as a human and goes by 'Gabie' during his time on earth. There’s a lot more to it, and it’s a pretty big WIP at the moment, but that’s the basic gist of the AU. I’ll definitely keep posting about it and go into more details, but feel free to ask questions if you are interested! It’s really cool so many people seem to be interested in my silly little AU ^_^ means a lot to me <3 /gen

If you don’t mind me asking, what is the Amber Au?

It’s a Nexo Knights Au that I’ve created where, during episode one, instead of Merlok sacrificing himself to temporarily stop Jestro and Monstrux , Clay gets in the way of Jestro and accidentally kickstarts his powers. This sends Clay into a magic induced comma, but also releasing Monstrux from the Book of Monsters. Merlok, now in a distraught emotional, encases Clay within Amber and curses Jestro to become a living rag doll with barley any couscous both of these last temporarily, however Jestro would have to take Clay safely outside of Knighton for this to happen). Meanwhile Merlok is on the run from a VERY angry Macy as well as Monstrux and a slightly different monster army. In a last ditch effort to keep Clay OUTSIDE of Knighton, he curses the realm with a similar Amber spell.

That’s all I got for now however I am determined to expand the lore farther!!!

Actively still considering if I should show off this AU or not, but here it is; What if Hemera was a.. 🥁 STAFF MEMBER! Wow ain’t that.. a hoot.

To give a basic rundown, after some sort of "incident", (which I’m still trying to figure out) Hemmy, in a fit of desperation, unknowingly leads herself down a path that EVENTUALLY leads to her becoming a nurse. (Yeah yeah plant splicing and all that would be a key indicator for her to be a doctor, right??? Nahhhh, I don’t really see her that way personally.)

I’d also like to imagine that she became more comfortable with the danger she wanted to prevent, which would be why this "Incident" would happen. Putting full blame on herself, she’d want to at least do SOMETHING to prevent THAT from happening again… Right??

Once again, kinda a messy script I’m working with rn, I’m going to need time to uhhh.. fully clean things up. I hope you did enjoy this ramble ig lmao.

Here’s the ref sheet for Nurse Philly, it’s kinda old so it doesn’t really reflect my style all that well now.

I feel like this is going to be a necessary explanation regarding my Prototype AU at some point, so I’m making it now.

As we can tell from the not-exactly-crystal-clear-but-clear-enough-to-understand canon timeline, the murder trio were most likely created a little bit before the whole “murder drones on Copper 9” thing, which lasted around 20 years. In this AU, it’s a little bit different. J and V were built before it while N was built around a year after it started.

J and V are prototypes (as you might already know), and were basically wiped of their memories as worker drones and given the upgrades that they could handle. Their tails, fast reflexes, increased strength, heightened senses, their core, upgraded height, these things were what the company gave them before sending them off, along with a few other “prototypes”.

You with me? Wait, hang on. *jingles keys to get your attention back* Yeah, that works for me too.

N was built specifically for the situation, along with five others the same model as him, and put through training for most of his life. Unfortunately, the training got worse and worse as they went and two died. It nearly became three when S had trouble regenerating her lost leg, but she made it through. By the time they were sent to Copper 9, the 20th year had passed and they (N and the other “final model” murder drones) were all 19 years old.

I’m going to stop myself from getting more into this AU, but that’s the subject I wanted to address.

Here's and explanation for the au

After the fight with the devil the cups left to go get patched up, when the recovered they tested their powers and found out they were gone. They asked elder kettle about it and found out that it was a timed potion- so they made it their goal to get them back. Well after many failed attempts they decided to go to porkgrind for help since he had potions that gave upgrades to the finger gun, porkgrind just wanted them out of his shop so he gave them random ingredients and kicked em out... Bad choice. Because when they made this potion- instead of testing it on a plant cup just chugged it... At first nothing happened but when he moved the plant aside to make another potion flower roots started sprouting out of his hands... Find out more soon~

For some clarification on Wanderer and his Home:

They can respawn from death, its a specific trait I coded into all of my characters when they die (especially from violence) so if they are ever to die in their ask blog, its a cannon event lol

Wanderer has been killed by a Priest!Wally's Home twice now. Once because he called it a bitch, once because he stepped in front of someone who was about to be attacked be said Home.

Uhhh vamp!tiff headcanons/knowledge stuff because I literally cannot stop thinking about it

This is based around like,, the 1800s cuz that was a good era for vampires!! /J

Tiffany next to nothing about humans apart from "mmm humans yum,"

So when Chucky shows up, she's all about it

He originally showed up at her castle (yup, castle) because it was rumoured to have riches in it and lemme be frank

Homie is broke as HELL

So of course he goes!! He was originally gonna go with Eddie but when he found out there was something there that could potentially fuck him up (™️) he backed out

Chucky made it in with no problems but he didn't realize he was being watched the entire time by Tiffany

Scooby Doo esq antics ensue and Chucky is practically backed into a corner, with Tiffany being the one to put him there

He was very close to death but, due to fighting instincts, he physically grabbed Tiffany's chin and stopped her from getting any closer

And they like

Kinda stared at each other for a hot minute

Tiffany almost immediately gained interest while Chucky was still internally screaming

It was when Tiffany called him "beautiful" that his internal screaming was replaced with a very confused emotion

And ever since then, they've kinda lived together

Tiffany hasn't stopped trying to bite Chucky and it really annoys him

On top of that, her new found interest in humans concerns him as she sees them as cute lil specimens than actual things

There have been multiple times where he's had to remind her that humans aren't always all that great

And can carry diseases

Not like she can get any but, according to her, they "make blood less sweet, therefore disgusting"

That made Chucky more concerned cuz "you think blood is sweet??"

"yeah!! The iron in it makes it so much sweeter!!"

"...alrighty then,"

They are a medieval mess but they're my mess and I love them a lot <3

I should explain in more depth of my head canons for Cats. I’m what you would call more of a multi-verse shipper. I have like, a basis, for them, and I create little changes of how they would go. It’s the reason why I’m so okay with different head canons different people have. I see the different head canons and I create stories using them in my mind. It’s the same with books, actual books like the Dragonriders of Pern. I read them and I can see them play out in my mind. It’s rare to occasionally I will find a story that I try to read and I cannot because the contents I don’t like and don’t enjoy. I can and will put down because no, I don’t like how it’s going. This is why I like Tuggoffeles in certain ways because it has to fit into how I see the characters, especially if Bombalurina is painted as the enemy. I’ve read some of these and I have put them down because I don’t like how they are going. They are hard to swallow. Yes, I have different versions of how each cat has a relationship with each other. Yes, I have AUs of my AUs. Will I ever write them? No. Only one-shots and short chaptered stories I can deal with because I struggle to put words together in a meaningful way. In school, English class was my most stressful and hard class. I cannot put what I see in my head into words occasionally. It takes me a while to put the words into a meaningful way.

For example of one of my head canons, I have Bombalurina as the granddaughter of Gus the Theater Cat because I have it as she inherited his ability to draw attention to herself, focused on her eyes. As cats, Gus sees details, of magic, through illusions, and little quirks that make him such a successful actor. Bomba inherited a stronger version of his magic eyes. Thus, she can see through most, if not all, of Macavity. She recognizes that he’s physically hot, but even she can see that he’s distrustful. She, and Demeter, are the most like Grizabella, because of her ability to draw attention to herself and her magic eyes. This is a plot point why in my AUs that Macavity wanted to have both Bombalurina and Demeter. They have the spark of magic that can allow them to have the heirs to Old Deuteronomy. Yes, she does have issues with Grizabella. She’s compared to her a lot, and it made her focus on not being like her.

The grandfather-granddaughter relationship between Gus the Theater Cat and Bombalurina is one of my solid head canons. How it is actually up to interpretation depending on what I want from these AU stories. In one such AU as an example, Bombalurina is the daughter of the poly-relationship of Jellylorum, Asparagus Jr, Skimbleshanks, and Jennyanydots (two of them are her bio-parents. I can expand on this later). There are two interpretations with this, one where Demeter is her sister, one where she is not, thus allowing Demelurina ship to happen with Bombatuggoffeles (with both AUs). Both of these are great interpretations with story within them, playing off of the different relationships that are present in multiple sources.

Another example that I don’t see often (or I’m not looking in the right place, this is always a possibility) is the relationship between Bombalurina and Plato. No, I’m not talking about a romantic relationship, I don’t see it. I’m talking either a friendly or familial relationship. Platoria is still main. I can go in depth on this, though not for now. I look at fanfiction and other people’s head canons, and I get inspired.

I’m willing to talk about more of these AUs in detail some other time, but I felt like I should explain more in depth of my Cats head canons.

So, I think I'm going to stop making AU explanation posts and just make a bunch of Google docs explaining my shit. I've realized that using tumblr for this has caused me to rush and not proofread things throughly, which left some bad spelling mistakes in some posts. Also, I want to keep this blog mostly SFW, and some of the AU stuff I have to explain is NSFW. It'll be better if the reading material is optional instead of being a post someone may see while scrolling. When I make the Google docs folder, I will probably make a pinned post linking it so it'll be easy access. Anyways, thanks for reading.

DpxDc AU: Tim as a child was never given a lot of information regarding the scribbling messy handwriting that appeared over night all over his arms- naturally he came to his own conclusions.

Tim Drake was home entirely alone at 9 years old and was about to go out for the night to test his brand new long exposure camera lens when he sees the writing on his arm. It’s not English, like he assumed it was at first, but it was using the alphabet to represent… Tim isn’t bad at math but this formula is complex for his little genius brain.

Looking at his camera, he decides he can spare a moment to look it up, solve it, and get back out into old town Gotham in time for Batman and Robin’s final patrol lap. He does just that, finding the problem to relate to some aerospace engineering and then quickly deduces what laws and theorems need to be applied. He finds a pen, writes down his findings in much neater handwriting onto his arm, and goes out. It’s barely a remarkable night at all. He gets a much more memorable photo of Robin roundhouse kicking a hench person.

Things just continued on that way. Tim would find some complex math, physics or chemistry prompt on his arm (surrounded by various question marks or notes or sad faces)- he’d answer it as best he could and move on with his life. Perhaps his parents were manifesting these pop quizzes? Perhaps his subconscious felt guilty about abandoning his studies for more Bat related pursuits? Tim really didn’t care to think much about it once he became Robin- there was too much on his plate and too many peoples problems for him to fix.

Notably, however, after the attack at the Tower, the pop quiz appeared and Tim wrote back that he wouldn’t be able to find an answer to this one. It was the only time Tim questioned the markings appearance and it was because the next thing that appeared was “Hope you feel better soon.”

… his parents wouldn’t include that on a pop quiz. Cursed then. Tim decided it must be a curse, whatever, he’d deal with the implications later in life.

Tim then has the worst year of his life, hes 15, no longer Robin and the questions from his curse are getting less math oriented and more… philosophical. A lot of mentions of death that, in hindsight helped him actually grieve, and a lot of theories about dark matter and souls. Tim answers back as best he can but he’s drained and his answers aren’t very good in his opinion. He gets minimal feedback.

It all comes to a point that he’s at a family dinner, Bruce is at the head of the table, Jason has promised just to stay for dessert, Damian hasn’t thrown a single insult his way and Steph was laughing at him- when a new theoretical model appears on his arm.

“You’re just as bad as Bruce, Timberly. Hiding a soulmate from all of us, how fucking typical.” Jason points out, while watching Tim scribble back some math with a question mark onto his arm.

“A what? No, this is just a curse. I get pop quizzes every now and then.” Tim bats away Steph who rapidly approaches and began to analyze his arm (the rest of the family isn’t far behind).

“Drake. Explain how you came to this conclusion.” Damian seems more curious than anything, if his lack of insults was anything to go off of.

“Since I was young I’ve had at least weekly math check ins, I never had a parent or anyone else around so I assumed my parents had me cursed to ensure I stayed on top of my studies. Sometimes it’s physics or chemistry, for a while there it was a ton of philosophy and behavioral psychology.” He shrugs his shoulders.

“Master Tim, I believe the lack of adults in your life has led you towards a false conclusion. That is most certainly a soulmate mark. The individual to whom you are responding is undoubtedly your other half.” Alfred attempts to calm the room before explaining to Tim. Tim isnt sure if he believes the butler, though Alfred only very rarely lied, so he grabs the pen once more. He writes his first question back: “Who am I to you?”

The room waits in anticipation and within moments a brand new line appears on Tim’s arm and he is vindicated: “We do math together???”

The reason Danny is failing English is because his built in homework helper sucks ass at metaphors and has apparently never read any classic literature. The tutor on his arm is great at puzzles and math tho.

Danny gets a reply back one night that he wasn’t expecting (Who am I to you?) and he mentions it to Jazz. Who goes insane that Danny didn’t even question it and just went with “meh, probably haunted” as his explanation for the phenomenon for all these years.

Apparently, if Jazz was right, he had a soulmate who was uh, super fucking smart. That was an overwhelming thought.

The next day Danny is in crisis mode and writes back “Wait, WHAT AM I TO YOU??? Can I help on your homework??”
