alright back to all the deut brothers being possessive in different ways, especially romantically
Munkustrap’s possessiveness comes from a place of reverence. His love of Demeter leads him to cherish her, to devote himself to the pleasure of being by her side, and to be thankful for the opportunity. He presses himself close, drinks in her presence, takes comfort in it in such a simple, instinctual way, feels pleasure in being able to explore her body, in having permission to do as he pleases, knowing that she won’t deny him anything he wants, because she wants it from him, whatever he gives, but he doesn’t have ownership of her. He has ownership of the time and attention she gives him. He doesn’t get jealous, doesn’t get insistent or aggressive about her, or the time she spends with others; he just has a sense of self satisfaction knowing what he means to her, of the fact that she chose him. It’s almost her possessiveness of him that makes him possessive in turn. The power is in her hands and he wouldn’t dare remove it, doesn’t feel the need to. He revels in the permission given, the ability to keep her to himself, which in turn only makes him that much more attracted to her.
Macavity’s possessiveness comes from desperation, the desire to claim, to keep, and the fear of loss. He covets, to the extreme, and guards his possessions close to himself, close to his heart. His desperation to keep Demeter at his side, to be the most important person in her life, to have all of her love, her attention, her affection, is its defining feature. He needs to be cherished; he needs to feel impossible adoration from her, needs to be that fantasy man who inspires awe and fear in those around him, needs to be someone she feels she cannot live without. He needs to know, and show, that the two of them are so impossibly intertwined that nothing could possibly separate them, that they are made for each other and each other alone. He needs control, and to feel valued, in a way that he feels no one else deserves to. He fights to ensure that, either physically or with mind games, and manipulation, turning others away, keeping the object of his desire to himself, because only he deserves her and she deserves him, he thinks. His jealousy is palpable; if her affection is spent elsewhere, and not on him, it eats him up, as if she holds a finite amount of emotion, and “his share” will dry up. It’s a hungry, consuming thing, that brings more torment than satisfaction.
Tugger’s possessiveness comes from a kind of mixture, yet with elements all his own. It’s the most complex. He takes pride in ownership, in others giving themselves to him, in wanting his affection, his attention. It makes him feel good to be coveted, to be desirable. He wants others to devote themselves to him, to feel joy and love around him, to be this special person for them, but he also delights in the chase. He delights in breaking others down, in romantic pursuits where he earns awe, where that devotion and desperation is slowly built, until it becomes almost overwhelming, like with Bombalurina and Mistoffelees. It makes him all the more possessive when he “conquers,” when he makes a deep, slow-growing connection full of push and pull, with the thrill of “is it enough?” because on some level he needs that reassurance that he is enough, that he is deserving of being coveted and possessing another to begin with. He puts in the work, finds satisfaction in getting the reward of calling someone his, of them wanting to be his. It’s intense, heady and overwhelming, but not in a bad way, just intense, and when that intensity is mirrored, he takes all the more joy in it, in finding equal footing, in laying mutual claims.

These are just my silly hcs, interpretations, and ships so plz no discourse about them:) Big post below
Family:
He's the only kit from Olivia's litter, she wanted nothing to do with the father however she passed some short time after Tugger was born.
• she knew she wasn’t going to make it before hand and so she asked her dearest and closest friend Grizzabella to raise him as her own if she’d be willing too which Grizz accepted.
So tugger is the youngest Deuteronomy son his elder brothers are Munkustrap and Macavity. Though Macavity never liked tugger that much since he wasn’t “his real brother”
• grizzy girl stills ends up leaving though leaving the responsibility of watching a still very young Tugger in the hands of old D who being the Jellicle leader and now solo parent was very stressful.
• So munkustrap sort of taken up the responsibility of watching and taking care of Tugger.

Personality:
I really struggled with how to pinpoint what I think tuggers personality could go based on the wiki where he's said to be "Vain, perverse and inconsequent" but I wanted to add a lil more
While Tugger can be immature at times especially when he's messing with the older cats like Jenny and Jelly he means well, He's artful and knowing after all so he knows when it's time to joke around with the kittens and adults or when it's time to get serious.
He loves any and all attention he can get which is when he plays up to his "tugger antics". tugger's very charismatic and bold especially when he knows what he wants.
He's very caring with those he's closest with and he basically has a big soft spot for all the kittens.
This is completely headcanon based and I have no evidence to support this but he does have some fear or small anxiety that he's only tolerated for his looks which is why he's very particular about his grooming and appearance.

I expected I'd have a lot more ships for Tugger but I don't? huh anyways
Tuggoffelees: I mean come on how can I not? They're adorable in that video of Tugger kissing misto after the "Terrible bore" line and the Tugger wants what he can't have thing sold me. So they're often my main Tugger ship.
I loved it even more when I came up with the headcanon of Misto being Tuggers secret admirer before they get together, since Misto is a good listener he'd make things he found or conjured appear in Tuggers den that he heard tugger talk about as his way of showing gratitude.
Tugger was curious about a cork? and one sits right outside his den before noon
Tugger only found out it was Mistoffelees after he had just entered his den and a perfectly new yarn ball appeared out of thin air.
Tuggerina: Bisexuals in love are the moment the everything, I don't know why I ship this I just think they're a great power couple and their dynamic is cute.
They play flirt with eachother so often that everyone just assumed they were mates before they got together. While Tugger isn't as into PDA as Bomba keeping it more subtle with an arm over Bomba's shoulder or waist. However when they're alone togethere Tugger is practically putty in her hands.
he does in fact care for a cuddle though he'll never admit it to anyone else. when they've been mates for a while tugger plays way more up to the PDA.

I did it again. I wrote a fanfic about Cats. This time, it's also in one of my bombatuggoffelees universes, though I did try to make it ambiguous on which one, but I kinda blew it on one of the sections, making Bomba and Demeter sisters. I feel that this fic is cute, and focuses on the kittens and their relationship with Bombalurina.
Cuddling Kittens
Bomba should have really seen this coming.
It all started when Jemima became old enough to be out of the den and started interacting with the other kittens. When her Nana and Gramma Jenny had all the kittens take their naps in the nursery den, Jem, half asleep, wandered out of the nursery den and went straight to Bomba while she was talking with Demeter, Cassandra, Tantomile, and Hathor, and just plopped into her lap. This action bemused the rest of the queens, especially Bomba herself. When Jelly came out of the den to look for Jemima, finding her in her mother’s lap to the confusion of Bomba herself. Sure, Bomba was a cuddly cat, and having the Rum Tum Tugger as a mate made their relationship a seemingly contradictory one, but she absolutely knew his needs of when to cuddle and when to not. When Jemima came, the tiny calico was very much like Bomba, cuddly and loving physical affection. When Bomba managed to ask Jemima why she wandered out of the nursery den when she was supposed to have a nap with her kitten friends, her answer both bemused and amused Bomba and Tugger both. “Cettie was moving too much and very loud, while Lettie wasn’t exactly comfortable. Pounce wouldn’t calm down and Tumble was wound up because of Pounce. Vicky and Plato were with each other, and George was in his own world. It was too much for me, and you did say that if I was uncomfortable, I should go to you, Mummy.” Both Bomba and Tugger were bemused and curious about her response. The theory that of not only Bomba and Tugger, but Demeter and Munkustrap as well, agreed on, is that Jemima, while her personality was very similar to Bomba’s, she inherited a light version of Tugger’s pickiness with physical touch. Bomba took in stride, because really, how would she have a weird little kitten when she was a weird little kitten herself?
Tumblebrutus
Tumble was a surprise, seeing how Bomba knew that while she was a bombshell cat and distinctive, she didn’t really interact that much with the younger tomkits, mainly because she knew that they wanted to imitate Tugger (which was cute in a non-creepy way. Better him than Macavity any day of the week), and a little part of her still will forever grieve for the tomkits she lost (she was just so happy that she had Jemima). Tumble was playing with Pounce and George, Plato being pulled away for Protector Training with Admetus and Munkustrap, while the queenkits were playing with a toy mouse Tugger managed to find and gave to Jemima (with approval from Bomba herself because he once found a toy mouse that was too loud and scratchy for her) without the other kittens knowing that Tugger gave it to her for the intention of giving her something to play with the other kittens (he definitely knew of Bomba’s struggles with sometimes not being able to play with their friends because of her weirdness, so he definitely is doing his best to make it easier for Jemima to play with her friends.) Bomba was the queen responsible for watching the kittens that day, with Mama Jenny spending time with Papa Skimbleshanks at the railway station and Mum Jelly helping Dad Jr with Grandpa Gus. They trusted her to make sure that when in doubt, Bomba will protect these kittens. This also included making the kittens calmer when need arise. Pounce, in a what she knew humans would call a zoomies moment, knocked over a small pile of miscellaneous things right next to Tumble, which not only made the kitten jump, but also cry out because one of the things in that pile was a bunch of metal pots and pans which not only made Bomba jump and clutch her ears but Jemima as well. Being the youngest tomkit there, he understandably started crying. Jemima, being the kind kitten she was, went up to him in an attempt to calm him. Bomba jumped off her perch and went to the crying kitten.
Being the oldest daughter of the Jenny Jelly Skimble Asparagus Jr polycule and had her own den by the time Tumble and Pounce came into their lives (and George, Electra and Etcetera as well), they didn’t know how physically affectionate Bombalurina was. They only saw her as the semi-aloof queen bombshell who interacted with Munkustrap, Demeter, and Tugger, similar to Old Gus in a way, and was Jemima’s mom. They didn’t know that she picked up Jenny’s way of soothing until then, which was picking Tumble up and putting him in her lap. She made circles on his back, whispering words of comfort, giving him comforting pressure, letting him calm down on his own time. “That’s a scary loud noise, wasn’t it, Tumble?” softly talking to the calmer but still teary-eyed kitten. “It scared me and Jemima as well.” With a look of confusion, Bomba gave him and the other kittens the explanation. “Me and Jemmy have sensitive eyes and ears. Theres some things that neither of us like the sensation of, like one of scratchy blankets that I know that Grandpa likes. Tumble, Jenny called me a weird little kitten when I was your guys’ age.” That perked up his ears. “Oh yea, I’m a weird little kit. Ask Munkustrap for stories of mine and Tugger’s shenanigans when we were your age.” Booping his nose, making him giggle. This event made each kitten, she observed, a bit more comfortable with her. Demeter noticed too and asked if she was going to be looking after the kittens more. Bomba responded with that she was going to let them come to her at their own pace because sometimes, her semi-aloofness made her an odd cat to come to for comfort or anything. The next time Tumble came to her, she was giving Jemima some cuddling time after dealing with Etcetera because while her little sister was great fun, she was still a handful for both Bomba and Jemima (even Tugger but he won’t admit it because Etcetera was his biggest fan, hell would rule the day when she found out that her older sister Bomba was Tugger’s mate and Jemima is his daughter.) With a stuttering explanation that Pounce was getting on his nerves, Jenny advised him to walk away to calm down. Understanding this, Bomba gave him permission (with Jemima’s nonverbal approval) to join the cuddle session.
George
George and Plato came for a cuddle with her for similar reasons. George was shy, she noted, and sometimes was overlooked in kitten games. Tugger and Munkustrap both noted that he did light up when one of the older queens gave him attention. Once, she caught him being left out, and decided to talk to him. Through the conversation, which was mostly Bomba prompting him with open ended questions and him just bursting with different topics and things that interested him. She found that while he was a shy cat, once you get him going, he was very excitable and could expound many interesting things, like for example his fascination with the Awful Battle of the Pekes and the Pollices with some intervention of the Great Rumpus Cat (Bomba may have had a hand on making him the Great Rumpus Cat when the Jellicle Ball came around because she wanted him to do something that would make his ball). He then asked if he could have a cuddle, because he loved Jenny cuddles when he felt down and wanted to see if Bomba’s cuddles were similar to Jenny’s. She of course obliged, and he even verbally noted that her cuddles were on the same level as Jenny’s, which in response to that Bomba explained that while she was Jelly’s and Asparagus Jr’s daughter, Jenny and Skimble were her Mama and Papa, so she was on the receiving end of Jenny’s cuddles many a time.
Plato
Plato, well, with protector training, sometimes he felt down. She could tell that him looking similar to Macavity did affect him in ways that he hid behind an easy-going manner. Bomba felt for him, seeing how he was an accidental reminder of her and Demeter’s tormentor. In a way, she was his aunt through Tugger. Not even Macavity knew about him, and her, Tugger, Munkustrap and Demeter agreed to keep that part a secret. Like with Admetus, George, and Electra, her and Tugger found him on one of their strolls near their human’s home (an older woman with three grown children, one of whom was the vet that helped Bomba with a sore on her leg and she had fondness with, and the other had grandchildren that Tugger oh so dearly hid his affection and extreme tolerance for from most of the tribe. The only four cats who know were Munkustrap, Demeter, Bomba, and Jemima) and both of them could tell that his father was Macavity, both of them sensing his protective magic that was extremely similar to Munkustrap’s (and Malteras but Bomba was never going to mention that to her parents and to the other kittens). Bomba knew that, in another universe, he could have been her kitten with Macavity, one she could have escaped with. So, when she noticed that he came from a training session down, she immediately took him to a secluded place in Jelly’s and Jenny’s den, where she talked to him that he wasn’t his father, that he was his own cat, and she did love him no matter what his circumstances were. These words were similar to the words that both she and Demeter have told each other because of the effect Macavity has on them, that Tugger, Misto and Munkustrap have told them, that Jelly, Jenny, Skimble, Jr, and Old Deuteronomy has told them. Plato, moved, burst into tears, because he was overwhelmed. Bomba held him as he cried, giving the love he desperately needed. She knew that Macavity would always hold a shadow over them. Bomba would give him what he lost, a mother’s love. Plato, while under Jenny’s and Jelly’s care, didn’t think of them as parents, but Munkustrap, Bombalurina and Tugger, they felt more like his parents than Macavity and his deceased mother.
Electra
Electra always had a fondness for Bomba. She was the coolest queen in the tribe, next to Demeter. She knew that Bomba and her were related by her birth mom being the niece of Gus the Theater Cat, Bomba looking like her grandmother, according to Old Deuteronomy and Great Uncle Gus. Electra even had the same eye color as Bomba and Jemima, which she thought was so cool. Sure, when Bomba and Tugger found her, George, and Admetus, she was too young to see or talk, but she could smell. Bomba had a similar-enough scent to their disappeared mother, which made them trust Bomba when she got them to the safety of the tribe. Miss Jenny even fondly told her the story of when she opened her eyes, Auntie Jelly started yelling at Bomba because her eyes were the same as Bomba’s. Electra was concerned that when Jemima first came out of Bomba’s den on her own paw instead of being carried to see Old Deuteronomy when he visited when Jemima wandered out of the nursery den and cuddled with Bomba instead of being part of the kitten nap cuddle pile. When Tumble was scared by the fallen pile of old pots and pans and Bomba comforted him, Electra realized that Jemmy was slightly peculiar with cuddles. Yeah, Tugger was awesome, but he didn’t like to be touched, but he could give touch. The only two touches he actually liked besides Munkustrap was Bomba and Jemima. Jemima could climb all over him and he wouldn’t mind, while if Etcetera and herself would try he would jump and move away immediately. No one could touch him, except for Jemima. While Etcetera wouldn’t really care or notice (Electra understood her best friend very well), Electra noticed that all three of them were hiding something, but she knew that with Etcetera, there was probably a good reason for it. Anyway, Electra knew that Jemima had some problems with how Etcetera was (poor girl was the youngest kitten’s aunt, for Bast’s sake) and was remarked by some of the other tribe members that Jemima was the most like Bomba, her mother. Jenny even mentioned Bomba’s oddness on occasion.
Now, with Tumble, George (that traitor), and Plato getting Bomba’s cuddles, she wanted to see what was so special with them. Etcetera managed to fall into a rain puddle and get the sniffles, which meant that neither Jenny nor Jelly would let her play. Jemima was spending quality time with her Aunt Demeter and Uncle Munkustrap, Tugger was somewhere which means only Bomba knew, the tomkits were playing, and she would normally join them, but she didn’t feel like it, especially since George was there. Victoria was with her brother last she knew, probably with their uncle Bustopher Jones (she still didn’t get why Miss Jenny had a crush on Bustopher Jones), and the only adult queen that was watching them was Bombalurina. “Feeling a bit off, Electra?” Bomba had asked when Electra wandered up to her perch on the tire, “I see that you’re missing your shadow.” Electra, not feeling talkative at the moment, just nodded. “Come here.” Padding right next to her. Electra mutely climbed up the tire to sit by Bomba. “Somedays I feel off too. When that happens, I try my best to follow what’s going on around me. Though, sometimes, Tugger ends up on the end of my zoning out.” Electra’s ears perked up. “Oh yeah, I end up doing things to him without meaning to. One time, I woke up in the middle of the night in the nursery den with the rest of my friends and family when we were kittens, because of an intense dream. I couldn’t exactly move, and Mum and Mama were busy with each other. Tugger was right next to me, and while I was self-soothing myself, I ended up braiding Tugger’s mane!” Electra started giggling at the imagery. Bomba kept on telling her story after story of her unintentional mishaps with Tugger, Electra moving ever so closer until she was in Bomba’s lap, having a cuddle session. “Electra, know that I love you, okay?” Electra cocked her head, leaning into Bomba’s warm arms. “I know that I seem semi-aloof, but it’s sometimes hard for me to express my feelings in a normal way.” Electra purred, nuzzling herself closer to her semi-adopted mom. “Heaviside knows I love Etcetera, but that girl is way too intense for me.” Silently agreeing with Bomba, Electra finally understood why Jemima, Tumble, George, and Plato love her cuddles, her hugs. She gets them right every time.
Victoria
Victoria had heard of how good Bomba’s hugs and cuddles were from Misto, because of his relationship with Bomba herself and Tugger. Mean, she DID know that Jemima considered Misto Papa and Tugger Daddy. She was one of the cats who knew who Jemima’s parents were. This tiny kitten was her niece, for Bast’s Sake. She also knew one of Bomba’s secrets, because she met him. The red gold tabby tomkit that had seizures and was Jemima’s littermate. Bomba protected all three of them when Macavity decided to say Hi to the Jellicles, when both him and Jemima were a week old. Victoria also restarted her dance lessons with Bomba a week before Jemima was allowed out of the den to help Jemima get used to the kittens (starting with the quietest one first, because even Victoria agreed that Etcetera was very much for the tiny queen kitten, as evident from when Old Deuteronomy, who is her grandpa, visited and Bomba and Jemima, who was 4 weeks old at the time, were summoned to greet him even though Bomba was extremely uncomfortable bringing Jemima out.) Bomba, Tugger, and Misto trusted her and Plato with Jemima if Demeter and Munkustrap weren’t available, because Bomba loved and cared for Victoria and Plato. Victoria knew that Bomba was very generous with her love, even though she was picky, something that Jemima definitely inherited.
Victoria, with her Coming of Age ball closing in, was let in on the secret that she did have a kitten by Macavity, but something happened to him before she could escape. Knowing that her mentor and friend lost not one, but two tomkits, Victoria just knew that Bomba took to protecting them and giving them love and attention to the kittens when Jelly and Jenny couldn’t, was her way of dealing with the lost in her life. However, she never was on the receiving end of a Bomba hug nor cuddle. Sure, she had touched Bomba, but never had one of her now notorious cuddles (Misto swears up and down that her cuddles for him are just right). When she did finally get a Bomba hug, she was surprised how good it really was. With the ball creeping up on them, the nurse queens conversation about Ball Preparations overwhelmed Victoria enough to make her escape to a quieter clearing. Bomba knew that she was the queen kitten coming of age, so given her past (something Victoria was privy to) Bomba always made sure to keep an eye on Victoria, so when Victoria made herself scarce with the Ball Preparation talks, Bomba followed her. Once in that quieter clearing, Bomba calmly made her way to the overwhelmed Victoria, and nonverbally asked if she could hug her (Because really, Victoria was also slightly picky on who touched her, though not on the same level as Bomba, Tugger, or Misto). Within the hug, Bomba explained that yea, they do talk up a storm about the Ball, but can you blame them? Jenny gets to have most of the tribe dance with her and Jelly gets to preform a duet with Asparagus Jr. Huh, Misto was right. Her hugs were great.
Pouncival
Pounce found it weird that Bombalurina, one of the most attention-grabbing queens of the tribe, was also very affectionate. Sure, she was a stunner and even Tugger was drawn to her, a serious bombshell. Jemima was so lucky that Bomba was her mom. While his brother loved to tumble, he loved pouncing. Though, she had pushed him off when he pounced her. Yes, she jumped extremely high when he pounced on her, making the ride so much fun, but when she landed, she immediately pushed him off, and snapped at him. It looked like she was holding back her anger, like Miss Jelly. Miss Jelly and Miss Jenny scolded him after that, explaining that she did not like being pounced on because of what happened with Macavity. They also warned him not to pounce on Demeter as well because that she was more anxious than Bomba. Then, he got so into playing that he accidentally knocked down a pile of pots and pans, scaring his younger brother and making him cry. He was so confused that Bomba came down from her perch on the tire to comfort Tumble and gave him a cuddle just like Jenny! Now the rest of the kittens, save for Etcetera, spoke of getting good hugs and cuddles from Bombalurina! The semi-aloof queen who was the eldest sister of Demeter and Etcetera!
When Jerrie and Teazer showed up after doing something, he asked them. “OH, Bomba’s cuddles are divine! She always gets them right. Sometimes Mum’s cuddles are too much for us, but Bomba adjusts the pressure of hers to make everyone feel comfortable.” Teazer giddily explained, her face lighting up as she spoke of her polycule sister. Jerrie readily agreed with his sister, and left Pouncival very confused on the red queen. How can Bomba, the hottest queen in the yard, be the most physically affectionate? (Those are big words, Pouncival, for you.) Being a very upfront kitten (something that Bomba did approve on), he went to the source. Finding both Jemima and Tumble cuddling with Bomba herself, Pounce did stutter out how was she the most physically affectionate that was not Jenny (stuttering in front of Bomba, so not cool, Pouncival). Her answered surprised the kitten. She chose to love because she lost someone she loved very much and was still looking out for her to this very day. Pounce was floored. She understood lost more than he realized. Swallowing his pride, he reached out and asked who. He let his impulsiveness take control, hugging her to the shock of Bombalurina. Her brother. She lost her brother. That…made him hurt. Pounce wouldn’t know what he would do if he ever lost his brother. Bomba…was so brave because she chose to love despite of her lost. Bomba understood why he hugged her, because Tumble was his brother. She could see herself and her brother in Tumblebrutus and Pouncival. She softly sang her favorite part of Growltiger’s Last Stand, “…Now Tiger’s mate Grumbuskin has since have disappeared….”
Etcetera
It was inevitable that Etcetera would cuddle with her, Bomba realized as she was locked in a kitten cuddle pile. While very excitable and loud, Etcetera was her youngest sister. Mum and Mama did explain that Etcetera was loving, she did tend to miss details, like how Jemima’s darker color was reminiscent of Tugger’s black, and how Tugger would let her climb him but not let Etcetera and Electra do the same. What affected the sister’s closeness was one, the age difference, and two, Etcetera was loud enough to make Bomba’s sensitive ears ring, which has driven Bomba more than once to a meltdown, which also had the effect of making Etcetera have a meltdown. Bomba now intentionally interact with Etcetera when she was not being loud. There was also the matter of Etcetera having a massive crush on Tugger. Yes, it’s cute, but both Tugger and Bomba hope that she does outgrow it, because Cettie insists that she will be the mate of Tugger when she comes to age, not realizing that one, this was in front of Jemima and Bomba, two, Jemima is her niece, and three, Bomba and Demeter are her older sisters. She has told Etcetera that she is her older sister, but it seems like it goes in one ear and out the other.
Which brings her to her current predicament. All the kittens sans Etcetera were on her in various positions, which was sending her into her happy zone because the love she was feeling was so much. It was like a soothing balm for her soul, because she was definitely feeling a bit down. It didn’t help that she woke up a nightmare of Macavity killing Grumbuskin and gloating about it, when logically she knew from Macavity’s own admission that he severely regretted accidentally killing her brother. Just…knowing that she was loved by not just her own kitten, but the tribe kittens as well. Bomba was lost in her own thoughts as she absentmindedly ruffled one of the kitten’s headfur (it was Tumble’s but she didn’t really care) when a familiar light gray tabby kitten popped up into her upside down view. Bomba sighed. “Hi Etcetera.” Etcetera, remembering what Mum and Mama told her about not shouting in Bomba’s ear, just creeped up to her red sister and pawed her ear. “Did you scream yourself hoarse because of Tugger?” Cettie shook her head. Bomba raised an eyebrow. “Or is your head running to fast for your mouth to work?” A thoughtful expression curled onto Etcetera’s face, and the kitten nodded. “Ah, that explains why you’re not talking.” An indignant expression that Etcetera definitely got from Mum came on her face. “Tugger gets like that sometimes as well.” Cettie’s eyes light up at the mention of her favorite adult tom. “It usually takes me and or Misto to help him get out of it.” Bomba will never tell her littlest sister just how they get him out of it, and she wouldn’t never tell Demeter either, for that matter. “But when we were younger, I would hug him and tell him all the good things I liked about him when he got like that.” Cettie’s ears perked up. Bomba sighed again. “Cettie, you can join in this…cuddle pile, BUT…can you please not scream in my ears. I know that Mum, Dad, Mama, AND Papa warned you about mine and Jemima’s sensitive ears.” Cettie’s ears drooped a bit, understanding that she did send Bomba into a meltdown when she was younger than Jemima. “Come here.” Softly maneuvering the kitten to her chest, letting Etcetera heard her voice. “Now, you have Mum’s face, but Dad’s eyes….”
The results...
Yes, Bomba really should have realized that having herself in the middle of kitten cuddle piles was inevitable. All kittens were curious, and Tugger was sometimes a big kitten as well. At least Bombalurina did was she told Demeter she was going to do if the kittens wanted a cuddle. Let them ask for a cuddle from her on their own terms. Even Mum and Mama found it cute and reassured them that the kittens were safe. They didn’t have to worry about who would look after them if either of them were not there in the Junkyard. Tugger, Munkustrap, Demeter and Bombalurina would look after them in their own special way, with Jerrie and Teazer being the naughty cats they were that brought smiles to them.

I don’t consider myself to be a Tuggoffelees shipper (👀 BombaTuggoffelees…maybe???) but I just had a thought…
If Tugger and Misto were secretly dating before the Jellicle Ball, then I could totally see Tugger going to Old Deuteronomy afterwards and being all like:
“Hey Dad, you know that cat who poofed you back and basically saved your life after Macavity kidnapped you?”
And Deut’s just like, “You mean Misto? What about him?”
And Tugger just blurts out, “Oh nothing, we’ve just been…dating.”

Please tell me all about the Kade and Nora Demestrap?? The current productions seem to be going all in on this ship and it is very valid of them!
(Also if there were any Kieran and Hank tuggoffelees moments, I need to ask you to share them due to who I am as a person)
ok so i posted the majority of my thoughts on Kade and Nora's Demestrap here, but i just HAVE to mention again how much i love the dynamic they created
like i adore the traditional fully in love happily married Demestrap that Lauren and Devon gave us, but Kade and Nora created a much more complex relationship that grew over the course of the show, from Munkustrap being a little hesitant and Demeter being curious about him, to the two of them having a respect and little flirtation with each other during the Ball, to finally having that moment during the Macavity fight and after when they see one another in a new light.
like their Demestrap makes me think that Demeter's only known by Bombalurina, Mungojerrie, and Rumpleteazer, and they're the ones who brought her into the Junkyard. Tugger's doing his best making her feel welcome (my Tugmeter BFF Agenda was FED by Hank and Nora), but Munkustrap's a little more suspicious.
Seeing her reaction to Macavity actually showing up really changed his perspective, and just... ugh, their mannerisms around each other, the way they moved and grew???? absolutely BEAUTIFUL
NOW FOR KIERAN AND HANK TUGGOFF!!!!!
THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS THAT'S THEIR BEST FRIEND
literally the ultimate hype men for each other during their songs
like there didn't feel like there was a "YES THIS IS TUGGOFFELEES" vibe to their interactions, which i honestly really liked? all their interactions could easily be viewed as either platonic or romantic
idk if this would be a lil nsfw-ish, but when Tugger and Misto do their little dance during Tugger's song, and Misto goes down to crawl between Tugger's legs, Tugger did a little hip thrust and it just made me giggle
there were a lot of cute little moments, like Tugger nudging Mistoffelees playfully during the Ball, and Mistoffelees turning around to interact with him
i got the biggest Bombatuggoffelees vibes during the Ball, especially after the Pas when everyone is cuddling together
THE CUDDLING DURING PEKES AND POLLICLES WHEN I TELL YOU I NEARLY DIED
They were sitting together on the car trunk and just in their own little world like yes give me Tuggoffelees who are completely wrapped up in each other that they forget about everything else 😭
Mistoffelees' song was SO good, Kieran has such a sweet voice, which contrasted really nicely with Hank's more rock star-style singing
them dancing together gets me every single time, but there was a moment where Tugger was up on the tire, and Misto was down on the actual stage, and Tugger was mirroring Misto's dance movements and it was perfection
ok i said this in my main commentary post, but when Old Deuteronomy is brought back???? it was so fucking cute????
Like Tugger was FULLY in awe of what happened, and he was bouncing around and just so insanely hyped, and he started off singing really loudly and excited, but he stopped and took a moment to calm himself down, but he was just so happy and it was such a good lil moment
and then before they started doing the last bit of dancing, Tugger and Misto had a moment where they gave each other fist bumps and were just smiling and UGH i love them
and then the moment during the finale when they're going off stage together and Tugger's like "WAIT I HAVE TO FINISH THIS" and runs back onto stage

Imaginary Bombatuggoffelees fic with the title “Recipes Exist for a Reason”?
"Again, I ask," Misto says, confusion mixed with defeat evident in his voice, "How did this happen?"
Tugger simply shrugs his shoulders, trying to play it off like he has no idea. Bombalurina snorts with laughter, looking back down at the cake the two had attempted to bake for Misto's birthday.
She can't help but laugh hysterically every time she looks at the deflated, crumbled monstrously of a cake- a cake that Tugger still took the time to try and decorate with icing, sprinkles and a couple of rainbow colored birthday candles scattered throughout.
"Bomb, c'mon. Why didn't you two at least look at a recipe?"
"Listen. Tugger insisted we didn't need one." Bomb says in between her giggling.
"What, you don't like it?" Tugger says with mock offense, "But I spent so much time decorating it!"
Bombalurina just bursts out laughing again, and Misto affectionately rolls his eyes.
"I love you both so much," Misto relents, moving in for a hug from his partners, "But you two are ridiculous sometimes."

Rum Tum Tugger is very conflict avoidant. If he gets into a disagreement that doesn’t get solved then and there, he’s very likely to retreat and get silent and moody, and isolate himself from others. He may still put on a cool attitude but those closest to him can tell when he’s feeling off, and it’s difficult to get him to open up about what’s bothering him. Things tend to eat away at him though he pretends they don’t. But eventually he does open up, either to Munk or Bomba or Misto, or sometimes Demeter, and they help him get his mind right.

First Impression: i thought she was super cool design wise and her personality was very entertaining! (watched the 1998 movie first)
Impression Now: i still think she’s got one of the best costumes in the show but also i love how she strikes that balance of vain but also extremely caring and protective of others
Favorite Moment: i am never not obsessed with her and tugger so i loveeee that moment from the last US tour where they’re just hanging out and gossiping together :33
Idea For A Story: I’ve been rattling around in my brain a story of her as a kitten training and eventually becoming a protector of the junkyard!
Unpopular Opinion: Idk if is unpopular but i never got the vibe of a romantic relationship between her and deme! no hate to those who view it that way though
Favorite Relationship: i really enjoy bombatuggoffelees!
Favourite Headcanon: When she was a kitten she used to play fight with munkustrap (who was already a protector at this point) as a means of practicing for when she would become protector. (he also was glad to do it because of the confidence boost it gave her when she won)
