It was meant to be a banner for YouTube but apparently the full size is only enough for the FRICKING TV -
kinda sucks because all mobile users and computer users will be able to see are like. half the faces of Lunatics!Sprite and Assassin!Sprite but at least you can see it in full here :)
I worked for like 2 weeks on this. Please let the algorithm pick it up and take it places 🙏🙏

Part 4 of Dad!Tim AU!

Part 1
They've had Eira for a month now, and honestly... Bruce was wondering when this would happen
He's very glad that Jason's at home with Tim tonight, because otherwise God only knows what would have happened, but there'd have been a lot more blood, Bruce is sure
Instead it's just him and Damian at the very edge of the city limits when a woman, bleeding and disheveled and bruised, nearly past recognition, sprints close, slows to a stagger, and collapses on her knees before them, one hand reaching out to fist in each of their cloaks as she gasps for breath
But Bruce could never not know those green eyes. The ones his smallest son shares with his
"MOTHER!"
"Talia! What the hell-"
But he doesn't wonder for long. And again, he really should have known it would happen by now
A group of assassins steps out of the shadows, weapons raised and still wet with Talia's blood. She drags herself up, beside Bruce, in front of Damian, and raises her own sword, but Bruce steps in the middle, finding that ice-cold place of fury that he's struggled for half a year now to keep hidden from his children because of how ugly it is
"Stay out of my city," he snarls. He reminds them of the piss-poor but completely binding treaty, that the league is forbidden to cross the city limits
"Except to redress grievances, Detective."
"You wanna talk about *grievances?*"
But the assassin just smirks. He starts pontificating about children and fathers and PROPERTY like its still the damn stone age. Then he starts pushing the idea of claiming ownership, as pointed as his weapon, and says, "The boy Lord Ra's is willing to grant you. But you are now harboring two stolen possessions of the Demon's Head, and he wants his property back."
Talia spits out a string of Arabic, all words Bruce has heard, but never in so... creative an order. Behind them both, Damian stifles something that might be either a sob or a giggle. Or a choking on air.
This is why Bruce is glad Jason is at home
What Bruce wants to say - shout - is that Talia is a WOMAN and Eira is a BABY and they are HUMAN PEOPLE not CATTLE and HOW DARE RA'S--
What he says, moving his hand behind his back to signal Damian to turn on his comm, maximum reciever volume, is that Ra's is not in fact the nearest male relative of woman or child
Talia's nearest man? Its Bruce. Yeah. Do they wanna see the marriage license? Talia smirks next to him, because they've had that thing ready for this exact situation for YEARS
He feels shitty claiming "ownership" but he knows Ra's is the shitty one and Talia knows what Bruce really means.
Damian makes another very odd noise.
Anyway, Eira? Did Ra's forget that Tim is her fucking FATHER? They've got birth records RIGHT NOW stating that she belongs to HIM, proving her legal existence and citizenship and EVERYTHING.
The assassins hesitate. Bruce knows they're searching. He prays. Talia's hand finds his and squeezes. The marriage record is there, one hundred percent legal, witnessed, valid, only kept secret because thats what had suited them for so long.
The birth certificate... all those other documents...
Its clear the assassin is suspicious, but Bruce thanks God for Barbara’s speed, because the assassin can't tell him the records aren't there. Can't even prove they were dashed together by woman woman in the space of five minutes
"As you can see," Bruce says, grin downright feral, "They are both within my protection. Come one step closer to my family and it will be Ra's who violates the treaty
And I *will not hesitate* to call the entire Justice League to war."
The assassin scowls.
But they all melt away, conceding defeat.
When they're gone, Talia sways and nearly collapses again, but Bruce and Damian catch her and call for the car
They go home

But like so do we even know what Yuri looks like? So far I have not really seen his face of much description of what he look like
no, actually, like- I have to get mad about this for a second
yuri plays an EXTREMELY important role in lost eden; I would argue that it is AT LEAST EQUAL to the role that richter has played in other games, probably way more important! he appears and does plenty of important stuff in multiple routes, but in kino's route he is CRITICALLY important. and in addition, he has tons of speaking lines, during which there is just....nothing on the screen. in what world does he not deserve art? a sprite?? even a description? doesnt this seem wrong???
this is something that bugs me about these visual novel otome games (like yes it's a dialovers problem but also the whole genre tends to have this problem). theyre supposed to be VISUAL novels, but so many important things just arent represented visually, including entire characters like yuri (who I would absolutely consider a MAJOR character in some routes). characters will fight, die, whatever......and we just can't see it. I think it's silly!! is there really such a small budget for otome games? these games cost like $60 to buy, you know????? I can buy other $60 games with SO much art and animation. I bought fucking breath of the wild with $60. but u buy a $60 otome game like dialovers and theyre like "you get character sprites and like, idk, 10 pictures per route. go crazy." I don't like it; I wish I could have higher standards!
I JUST!!!! think it's pure nonsense. it's like my biggest otome game pet peeve when they dont give us art for things that certainly should have art. yuri included :(

i am writing a script for a choose-your-own-adventure game about the mckinley assassination that will almost definitely never be made and having the time of my life
#(warning for some long tags)#it's part of a dlc that doesn't exist for another game that also doesn't exit#the main game is an original story related to time travel & dimensional warping & etc#and this hypothetical mckinley assassination game that i mentioned would not make much sense without the main game#bc lore and stuff#but i don't care about the main storyline as much as i care about one where you interact with leon czolgosz#i'm drawing some of the character sprites(?) too. so far i've done one of atlas (oc; from main game) & one of victoria czolgosz#atlas is there at the very beginning with janai (another main game oc) to tell you what's happening & give you some items#he shows up later in the game to help you out a little if you go to crystal beach#victoria shows up when you go to the restaurant where she works. you ask if she knows a leon f czolgosz* and she's like 'my brother? how do#you know him?' and you talk to her and she says that the last she heard from him he was in fort wayne but that was over two weeks ago so#she's not sure what he's up to right now. then she cries a little over how she's worried about him and quickly writes a letter and asks you#to give it to him if you find him then asks you to keep him safe. caroline** can then respond like 'ok :-) i will' or be like 'i'm not his#mom or smth i don't even know this guy why are you asking this of me.' and this will influence your relationship with her which can have#effects later. bc depending on what path you take you might see her again. also can affect your relationship with leon later if they end up#interacting.#*you start the game in cleveland so you know that some of the people there know him#**the protagonist's name is caroline. she has no canonical surname but she calls herself 'ascher' here as an allusion to motka from the#anarchist. i want to put more the anarchist allusions in there but idk where yet.

Edit: I missed a few tags so added those.
These were made using Google Keep Notes, where the colors are pre-selected and I had to substitute one color in place for another, so bear with me ;-;

This is FNF!Sprite, one of my oldest AU versions of Sprite, my sona. I don't really do much with them lmao they just sorta exist. The only other characters I have in this AU are FNF!Solar and Wysp, who are Sprite's best friends who teach them how to rap battle and have fun while doing so.
Sprite is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. Solar and Wysp are both male and use he/they pronouns.
(yeah I'm a fan of the classic mods, Remorse is easily my favorite song.)

This is Sprite from Lunatics AU, where they have the (not optional) ability to transform into a feral monster whenever the moon rises. It's kind of like being a werewolf, except there are no full-moon gimmicks or anything like that.
One story eventually sprouted into two separate stories that were sequential??? So I'm trying to structure the story so that we learn about both stories at once if you were to put it down on paper. If I ever put it down on paper. Let's see where it goes!
That's where the cool armor on Sprite's right half comes from. This drawing was concept- and lore-based and I kinda just did it on a whim. It's a combination of their old outfit, the cool robot armor, and a more battle-scarred version of their old outfit. They do have a prosthetic right arm though!
Fun fact: Lunatics AU was inspired by Metroid Dread. I know, crazy. But the armor says it all XD I should post more drawings of them in full armor.

This isn't Sprite this time, surprise surprise. It's Solar, who's Sprite's best friend/buddy in Lunatics and FNF. In Demon AU, depicted here, he's the protagonist of the story.
Why's it called Demon AU then? Well, said college sophomore decided it would be a great idea to summon a demon with orange acrylic paint, supermarket birthday candles, and a dead mouse he found in his dorm the other day. I think you know who the summoned demon is.
Solar is male and uses he/him pronouns. Sprite is nonbinary and uses they/it pronouns.

BLIZZARD WHY IS THE OUTSIDER'S MARK ON HIS SHIRT?? That's because my Assassin AU was inspired by Dishonored! Might as well stick a reference to one of my favorite video games of all time on one of my favorite OCs I've ever created!
Assassin!Sprite or AS!Sprite here is a little bit like Corvo Attano in that she is also a skillful assassin with supernatural powers. The powers themselves are different and the world is a whole lot different, but yeah it sorta tracks!
One running gag I've been playing with is that Sprite doesn't understand what "casual wear" is. Since he's out on the field all the time and was raised to be on the field all the time, he's pretty much used to wearing heavy cloaks and assassin gear, even while resting or asleep. Hence, an outfit you will never see again because this is just a one time thing lmao
This is probably my most developed Sprite AU though. I have a lot more details worked out about the characters here than anywhere else and I'm so very proud of it.
Sprite is female and uses he/her pronouns. The eyelashes only indicate gender. :)

Last one is Death Mist AU! Recently renamed due to technicalities. Also death mist sounds a lot cooler, lmaoo
In this AU, which I've recently begun fleshing out a little bit more, a poisonous gas descends upon a random patch of land - could be the middle of nowhere, or a settlement, or a fortified city - and anyone in that area who's not protected can be considered dead. Except for Sprite, who is immune. I'm still ironing out the details but that's sort of the basic gist of it.
Sprite is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns.

Request: How about some jealousy headcannons for Velvet , Eleanor, and Magilou?
(Tales of Berseria) Velvet, Eleanor, Magilou Jealousy HC's
Honestly, I was waiting until I had access to the skit sprites, and now that I have, it's time to UNLEASH the Berseria asks that's been laying dormant for nearly a year.
Velvet's jealousy is quiet, and very terrifying.
Thinking about it logically, she really shouldn't be that angry about S/O simply talking to other people than her.
She was a Daemon after all. And yet, S/O chose to stay with her despite that.
And right now, they were doing anything but that.
It takes a long while for the jealousy to build up, but it's nearly ready to blow up.
S/O notices her glaring at them, and the person they're talking to.
After a few moments, Velvet realizes she's staring and quickly looks away, acting like nothing is happening.
S/O walks after her, with Velvet continuing to walk despite her name being called.
(S/O) "Velvet?"
(Velvet) "What?"
(S/O) "Are you alright?"
She stops walking and glares at them again.
(Velvet) "Fine. Why?"
(S/O) "You...just looked a little angry is all-"
Her eyes narrow as her fists clench.
(Velvet) "A little?"
(S/O) "O-Okay, really angry! I'm sorry I haven't had much time for you lately, I've just been trying to get supplies and-"
(Velvet) "I said it's fine. Better for us to be stocked up anyway than wasting time."
She tries to play it off, but S/O knows her better than anyone at this point.
(S/O) "Well, I could use your help carrying some of it back to our rooms. And...I'd like to have some time alone with you, actually. There's this pretty spot near the inn we can sit down at!"
Velvet simply sighs and her shoulders relax a little.
Choosing to not mention the blush on her cheeks, S/O gently grabs her hand and squeezes it for reassurance.
Velvet says nothing else and lets them hold it for a few more seconds before slowly letting go.
(Velvet) "Come on, show me where we're putting the supplies."
Eleanor feels guilty for even thinking about being jealous.
The two of them were busy, especially on a journey like this, romance was almost impossible. She knew this, and yet...
Eleanor pouts when she sees S/O speaking to the other members of the group and goes off to be alone for a moment.
Maybe some fresh air would clear her head.
The sun was about to set, watching it glisten along the coastline they were on.
(Eleanor) "Maybe during the voyage, we could...-"
(S/O) "Eleanor?"
Eleanor nearly jumps out of her skin when she hears S/O voice come from behind.
(S/O) "Are you okay? You look upset."
(Eleanor) "A-Ah...Don't worry I-..."
Eleanor thought S/O was too busy to notice her lately, yet the fact they noticed her leaving in a crowded inn made her guilt grow.
She cuts herself off before simply sighing and clearing her throat.
(Eleanor) "I'd like to get dinner with you, if you don't mind."
(S/O) "Oh, sure. I can grab the others and-"
S/O immediately noticed Eleanor's body posture change, both her hands going behind her back.
S/O gently smiles at her before nodding.
(S/O) "There's nothing wrong with being a little selfish. Where do you want to go? My treat, tonight."
Eleanor smiled back and nodded.
(Eleanor) "I recall seeing an interesting food stand in town. Perhaps they're still open?"
Magilou doesn't really get that jealous.
She knows when people are lying or being serious.
She also is very much aware of herself, and how she truly feels.
Not to mention the incredible circumstances she and S/O found themselves in, going to assassinate a world leader.
With that being said, it would be remiss of her to not embarrass her S/O at every opportunity.
That was a sign of true love!
S/O is simply talking to Eizen regarding the Van Eltia.
And that was the time to strike.
(Magilou) "S/OOOOOOOOOOO!"
Magilou called out for S/O's name as she extended her hands and nearly tackling them to the floor.
Barely fending Magilou off of them, S/O stared at Magilou who began flailing at them.
Eizen gives Magilou an extremely unamused look while S/O tries to shut her up, with everyone looking at their direction.
The crew, port workers, the rest of the group, everyone's attention was on them.
(S/O) "W-What are you doing, Magilou?!"
(Magilou) "You barely spend time with me at all lately! As your beloved, I demand that you give me attention too!"
(S/O) "We were literally just talking ten minutes ago!"
(Magilou) "It's not enough!"
(Eizen) "Are you done? S/O has to get the supplies on the ship before sunset."
(Magilou) "This is a matter of the heart, Eizen! You wouldn't understand, for you do not possess a maiden of your own!"
(S/O) "I'll talk with you once I'm done, Magi! Just give me a few-"
(Magilou) "UGH! You wound me, S/O!"
(Velvet) "I'm about to give you a wound if you keep this noise up."
(Magilou) "Believe me, you'll understand my feelings once you have someone to call your own!"

Ok new series, now I'll go song by song and describe the images/story in my head so maybe this will satiate my desire and y'all can play the songs and hallucinate with me
The Horse and the Infant
Alright my brothers listen closely
Single light up on JASON TODD, slight smirk but serious eyes
Tonight we make the Trojans pay
He rolls out a battle map on the table
Ten years of war they killed us slowly
Backstory panel, some shadowy enemy holds a kidnapped, 7-8yo DAMIAN WAYNE
But now we'll be the ones who slay!
Victorious grin and clenched fist
Think of your wives and your children/Your fam'lies wonder where you've been/They're growing old and yet you're still here
Jason's expression becomes strained. In his head, we see visions/memories of Talia, Damian, Bruce, Dick, Alfred
Do what I say and you'll see them again
His resolve strengthens. This command is for himself.
(YES SIR!) DIOMEDES will lead the charge, AGAMEMNON will flank the guards, MENALEUS will let our mates through the gates to take the whole city at large! TRUCER will shoot any ambush attack and Little Ajax will stay back! Nestor! Secure Helen and protect her. Neo! Avenge your father, kill the brothers of Hector (YES SIR)
On the "yes sirs" we see a small army of League assassins. As Jason calls names and assigns tasks, we see individuals nod, step from the crowd, grin, etc, and a future panel of the task being completed. Helen is little Damian and the "brothers of Hector" are his kidnappers, still shadowy
Find that inner strength now! Use that well of pride! Fight through every pain now! Ask yourself inside--
The fight against the shadowy enemy begins, we focus on Jason as he cuts through towards some tower or fortress with set determination
What do you live for? What do you try for? What do you wish for? What do you FIGHT for? (What do you live for, what do you try for, what do you wish for, what do you FIGHT for)
Jason is still fighting, but very, VERY subtly we see an imprint of Robin underneath him, allies potentially with an under-layer of Batman, Nightwing, or Batgirl.
Penelope! Penelope! And Telemacus! I fight for us! I fight for us
Penelope is seen as Talia (no not like that, a guy can fight for his mom too ok) and Telemacus as Damian. Jason stands in a freeze-frame of carnage, tilting his head up to the sky where he can see them. His face is weary now, but he tightens his grip on his sword
(What do you live for?) Penelope. (What do you try for) Telemacus. (What do you wish for?) I'm on my way. (What do you FIGHT for?) ATTACK!
The fight slowly returns to motion as the images fade, and Jason throws himself back into a full-speed battle that continues during the instrumental. He gains on the tower, reaching the top, driving his sword for the shadow holding Damian, when--
*shing* AAAHHH! ... Who was that?
A blur whips through, knocking Jason's sword away and making him fall to the ground before disappearing. He addresses the question shakily to the shadowy figure. Damian is no longer visible.
A vision/Of what is to come/Cannot be outrun/Can only be dealt with right here and now
The shadowy figure reveals itself as UBU, right hand of Ra's al Ghul. We realize the whole song to this point has been a training exercise, and Jason has tripped only at the surprise finish line
Tell me how! I don't think you're ready... A mission/to kill someone's son/a foe who won't run/unlike anyone you have faced before. Say no more! I know that I'm ready. I don't think you're ready
Jason's determination is back, but Ubu leads him to another place as he speaks. Finally he tosses a mission file on the table, with a picture of Tim Drake's Robin
*piano melody*
A flash of images of Jason's own Robin days, all of them happy
It's just an infant. It's just a boy. What sort of imminent threat does he pose that I cannot avoid?
Jason is in shock, horrified. He's trying to sound dismissive and dubious, but it's clear he can hardly get the words out
This is the son of none other than Troy's very own protector, know that he will grow from a boy to an avenger, one fueled with rage as you're consumed by age. If you don't end him now, you'll have no one left to save
Robin is joined by Batman, and then Robin shifts to Red Robin, one who destroys the League, and an adult Jason is clearly unable to stop him
You can say goodbye to (Penelope) You can say goodbye to (Penelope)
Talia lies in a pool of blood, but on the musical beats her body glitches to both a smoking, broken Sheila and a pale, sickly Catherine. Jason staggers back, and in the whole next sequence periodically is shown pleading with Ubu
I COULD RAISE HIM AS MY OWN! (He will burn your house and throne)
Jason stands next to Tim, who wears League robes, but then the ranks behind them go up in flames
OR SEND HIM FAR AWAY FROM HOME! (find you wherever you roam)
Tim in a cell, but the Bats arrive and wreak havoc
MAKE SURE HIS PAST IS NEVER KNOWN (the gods will make him know)
The bats dissolve but flicker back to reality
I'd rather bleed for ya! I'm on my knees for ya! I'm begging, please! (This is the will of the gods)
Jason is desperate, kneeling, but Ubu is resolute. Behind him is the silhouette of Ra's al Ghul, towering over them
Please don't make me do this! Don't make me do this!
Tears slide down Jason's face
The blood on your hands is something you won't lose. All you can choose is whose...
Ubu turns and leaves, and the lights go out on Jason alone, staring at Robin's image with hopelessness.

Nine (or so) People You'd Like To Get To Know Better
I love tags games and it's goddamn tag game time again! Thanks to @jackdaw-sprite for tagging me in stuff for me to mess around with!
Rules: Answer the 4 questions and tag 9 people you'd like to know better.
Last Song: YouTube is playing in the background and this is what it played from my mix: For Honor by Peyton Parrish. I am so in love with his songs for real for real! Viking Metal my beloved.
Currently Watching: I'm not currently watching anything new BUT I am rewatching Buffy: the Vampire Slayer and Angel: the Series! I think I'm going to start watching Supernatural and/or Doctor Who again soon.
Currently Reading: Other than all the baller fanfic dropped during Invisobang? I'm not reading much original stories right now, between school, work, and fandom! But the last thing I read was Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao! And I will recommend it until my dying breath. Enjoy the summary!:

I've recently been replaying V3 and writing down like every line of diolouge that I see through an important lens(Because I have an unhealthy obsession with this goddamn game and I know like everything about it)
And it really bothers me how like every line of diolouge outside of trials or just any line that isn't fully voiced gets forgotten, Because it leads to so many relationships between the characters being overlooked or mischaracterized to hell and back
The biggest example is Maki and Kokichi's dynamic
Everyone in the fandom says they hate each other without even bothering to listen to each other. That Maki would try to kill him the second he steps into her line of sight. That Maki was always looking for an excuse to kill him
When it's so aggravatingly wrong.
Maki was mad at him for revealing her talent and putting her in harms way(Keep in mind, Before this, Maki thought of him in the exact same light as everyone else) but this only lasts maybe a day or so in canon or just one chapter at most. Because in the post trial of chapter 3...
This scene happens.
And you can perfectly see that Maki talks calmly to him and promises HIM to his FACE. That she's going to work till everyone(Which includes him) can trust her
And she would NOT say any of that if she hated him
You can also tell Kokichi was genuinely surprised by this, You can tell by the sprite he uses(He only ever stops like that when he's surprised or being honest)
Because he's perceived Maki as a cold blooded killer who would snap on him(Trying to kill him) by the slightest teasing word.(Which, ironically, Is how a lot of the fandom perceives her)
And he perceived her that way because of his belief that murder is the worst thing a person can do(And he automatically sees people who've committed it as heartless killers until proven wrong, Which surprises him because he obviously doesn't see it often)
But this perception of her is false and he learns this first hand when she replies calmly to him, Making a promise, and I can't stress this enough, TO HIS FACE she's gonna fix things between them so he can trust her even if she's an assassin
Right after this he makes a comment to cover up the fact he was surprised and keep up the mask he's been playing on the whole game, But honestly I feel like his view on Maki has shifted in some way. Because we already know he hates her JOB and maybe this just helped him separate the sin from the sinner(per say)
I will not deny Maki hated him in chapter five though, But that's only because he
1. Kidnapped Kaito
And 2. Said he was the mastermind(Which Maki believed)
But she would've hated anyone if they did that(Even someone like Shuichi) so it really isn't singled out on him.
And I will also admit before this, Still in chapter five, she was angry at him and suspicious of him(Because he was now making promises to kill people if stuff didn't get interesting), But, Again. It isn't singled out on him.
TLDR: Maki didn't hate Kokichi until she thought he was the mastermind, And Kokichi hated her job but was able to separate her from it
