hi hii, this is my first time requesting something

So, I was wondering if you could possibly write about the Arcana Twilight characters (specifically Spica, Pollux and Vega) reacting to a gender neutral MC who's trying to learn how to cook?

If not all three, then just Pollux? ^^

Learning To Cook

A/N: Of course I can write all three! This request is very cute and I had fun writing it. I tried to make them all as distinct to each other as possible too. Thanks for requesting, I hope you enjoy!

Spica

Spica doesn't realize that you're only learning at first. Spica smells something good coming from the kitchen and takes a peek in to find you messing with some ingredients on a kitchen counter.

He asks if you need any help. You tell him that you don't mind an extra pair of hands, and he finds out that you're actually just a beginner with cooking. He's surprised, but also impressed at your attentiveness and eagerness to learn a skill, especially one that takes care of your health.

Spica isn't a professional cook, but he does know a handful of recipes. If you asked him about them, he could share one or two with you if you'd like. He probably has some great cookbooks at home that he could bring to you as well. Is there a dish you had in mind that you want to make? He could help you find a good recipe for it. Maybe he could help you out with your current cooking session too.

He's nothing but patient and encouraging with you as he cooks by your side. When you finish cooking the dish you planned, it turns out much better than you imagined. Spica says that, though there is always room for improvement, he thinks what you made was excellent. You tell him that his help was greatly appreciated. He gives most of the credit to you.

"You're always impressing me with your abilities, Summoner. With enough time and practice, you'll surely make something especially delicious."

Pollux

Pollux doesn't often cook for himself, so seeing you try to learn to do so makes him want to do the same. Cooking is an important skill to have, and he thinks it's really cool that you're trying to teach yourself on your own. If you let him join you, Pollux will gladly lend a helping hand to the best of his ability.

Knowing that you are also a beginner when it comes to cooking is a bit of a relief to him. He's not confident in his culinary skills, but you're both in this together. You'll help him just like how he'll help you.

Whatever you're making at that moment, Pollux will want to ask about it. Is it a Bound Arlyn dish? Or is it something from Mid-Earthium, where you're from? He can't help but be curious... If it's a dish that's your favourite, he'll definitely want to know that too! Maybe he can try making it for you next time.

Pollux is happy when you finish your cooking and wants to try it as soon as possible, especially if it's something sweet like a dessert. His critiquing on your cooking depends on how good it tastes. If it's a little less than ideal, Pollux will sugarcoat his answer just to make you feel better. If it's good however, he'll definitely tell you straight up without hesitation. Maybe next time you guys could cook something else together! He'll be the one choosing the dish, though.

"Hey, Summoner, cooking with you is surprisingly fun! Next time, we should make a dessert food!"

Vega

Vega is surprised to find you trying to cook something by yourself one day. He doesn't often see you cook on your own, so you explain that you're only learning just now. It's not something he would expect from you, but it's not a bad thing. He asks what you're making out of curiosity, and whether or not you know what you're doing. He's not being cynical by asking that though, he just hopes what you're doing isn't too complex—a beginner friendly dish would be ideal.

Growing up under Sorcerer Giana's care has likely taught him a few recipes. Chances are, his culinary hand isn't bad either. If there is a dish you're interested in learning about, Vega might be able to teach or tell you about it. Show some enthusiasm and he'll surely find a recipe he thinks you might like.

With Vega being more than a little protective over you, he'll also make sure you're keeping yourself safe when cooking. He triple checks the heat on stoves, the knives and other utensils you use, and he keeps an eye on your movements to insure that whatever you're doing is safe as well. The last thing he wants is to see you hurt yourself so carelessly on something that could definitely be avoided.

Whatever you make, he'll try it. Even if it's not that great. You're only learning after all, so it's only natural that you won't make a dish perfect on the first try. Chances are, he'll say it's good just to avoid discouraging you from improving your cooking skills.

"It's not a bad thing that you're learning, just please be careful. Do you need any help? I'm not an expert, but I've seen Sorcerer Giana cook before. What did she cook? Um, it's nothing."

Sirius:

"I hurts you again and again but yet you still asking for my love? I can't tell if you are desperate or pathetic... Maybe both. Haha... Maybe I'm the pathetic one. I did everything for us, Summoner. You still can't tell it? I love you so much that it hurts me."

Vega:

"I will. I am yours and you are mine, Summoner. We'll grow old together, I'll abandon my title if it take to be with you. Don't worry about growing old alone because I am here. Beauty doesn't matter to me, it will never will so don't be insecure."

Rigel:

"Maybe... I think I'll miss you too. The way dangers keep coming at you, your silly shenanigans, your sweet smiles... I can't tell if I love you or not but I do care about you so is that enough?"

Principle schedar:

"Why yes of course. You are very precious to my grandson. Anyone that he cares about, I will cares too. I will miss you too, you always made the academy brighter."

I still can’t sleep from the story 💀

Listen I’m rambling a lot of thoughts but

(Spoilers floor 13)

1 I WANTED MORE EVIL CASTOR!! Or possessed.. Pollux?? W/e but, I WANTED HIM TO LIKE DRAG US AWAY, he was kinda 😍

THE WAY HE SAID

IM SORRY BUT. 😳

We could’ve seen more of him honestly, OR maybe even the cliche of getting yoinked by Void sorcerers and castor to know more about the void sorcerers instead of them just being monsters 💀

2 I Wanted more of the characters and side characters like Rigel and Albali, BECAUSE HONESTLY??? They were introduced and never expanded on. Also more evil Arcturus because DAAAAYUUUUUM 😳 (I don’t have a thing for evil hot guys I sweaaar 😊) Or even just Sirius going fully evil. I mean.. even Schedar or Thuban getting a parental bond with Summoner and instead of making them.. YOU KNOW.. LEAVE… helping them adapt to polaris’ abilities and magic. I hate the whole Polaris thing though where they keep getting compared to them and not letting mc be mc (ahem ahem whb and kind of obey me)

3 I keep saying it but they were so fast with the story. They could’ve dragged it on in SO MANY WAYS, and I hate to say it but maybe even some filler. And they better not try to do the Obey Me thing where they make another game. They already rushed the story and threw a bunch of things out there that they could’ve spread out across multiple floors, even if it took longer. So going back and explaining it would be hard even if they DID rethink it and decide to go back to the game.

the game community is small but honestly it keeps it close together and everyone here is so unproblematic and nice 😭😭

I don’t think there will be another game like arcana twilight that will drag me in this much, and I’m hesitant to go jump to another otome game. If the game does officially end and get abandoned for good, the people in the fandom will eventually leave, and it makes me sad because the game had so much potential and they skipped over so much.

I just wanted more romance and tension, maybe even angst and drama. Kinda hoping the summoner would get possessed or go crazy/evil but NOOOOO 😒

Alfie's spell book(catalyst) feeds off the wielder's mana to remain bonded thus leading though this isn't the cause of the fluctuations it does worsen them if the book takes from him when his mana is low. Alpheratz is almost always fatigued, due to the reasons above he sometimes refers to his condition as Chronic Fatigue.

Nap time with the Summoner is Alpheratz's favorite way to spend quality time. With cuddles of course!!

As Sirrah in Alpheratz’s past life Alfie once took down a flying whale with Polaris, they were close but how close? At the beginning Alpheratz doesn’t recognize the Summoner as Polaris nor does Alfie trust them, warms up to them slowly, but as Alfie gains memories of Sirrah, Alfie is noticeably more fond of the Summoner.

Those with ADHD have difficulty completing tasks due to a lack of motivation because their brains have an extremely low quantity of the chemicals that reward you with happy vibes if you complete it so they tend to hyper-fixate on whatever gives them that bit of reward.

Arcturus, as typical of people with ADHD though not all, tends to get that reward when she completes tasks for others or helps them, but she tends to hyper-fixate on this and forget to take care of his own needs, like eating, drinking, and using the toilet. Please remind her Summoner!!

Often needs time alone to just decompress, Alpheratz typically keeps an eye on them just in case they ever need help.

Everyone has a case of cuteness aggression towards him whenever he is near, Alpheratz is always the first to act on it and coo at him!

Sirius was dating him for a time, or so Pollux thought but it was never made official. It was more like sexual benefits. Pollux would like to think they’d at least been Friends with Benefits. He behaves hostilely towards the Summoner at first because Sirius began avoiding him, giving him the cold shoulder in favor of the Summoner… Pollux warms up to the Summoner after they are there to comfort him despite his hostility.

Sirius previously referred to Pollux as Bunny in a sexual way. Arcturus once looked over Pollux’s shoulder at his phone screen and asked what that meant. Pollux was mortified and refused to answer.

Gender/Pronouns: Mirror Pronouns. Your pronouns are his, and he is running away with them. His legs are too long, you will never catch him!! (I tend to use he/him for Sirius when not mirroring them to other characters though any other usage of pronouns or just his name would work)

Siri’s Flower: The Purple Rose represents individuality and artistic flair but the closer to black they are their meaning could double with Black Roses which symbolize, grief, anger, hatred, unrequited love, mystery, subversion, resistance, and dark side of desire and passion.

Sirius just likes to occasionally visit the Summoner while they are studying in the library. If the Summoner is short he’ll pick them up, sit down, and place them on his lap like it’s nothing. The Summoner has become used to this, they recognize his presence before he even approaches so they are already mentally prepared- but when Sirius begins whispering in their ear he becomes quite the distraction.

Loves playing with your hair, especially if it’s long enough to style!!

Has no idea how to react when you actually flirt back or make a move, possibly tenses up or asks if what you did was a cruel joke… (poor baby has self-esteem issues)

Does shit to make you distrust him because he doesn’t trust himself

Very torn up about Polaris not quite being there as they once were for him.

Sirius likes to roleplay as your student sometimes, maybe he was Polaris’s student once and he wants that time back.

Sirius cannot let go of the idea of Polaris, he will often project onto the Summoner when roleplaying with them and tell them vague stories with minor changes about himself and Polaris in hopes of triggering memories.

Sirius adores you, the Summoner, Polaris, seeing you as his only safe space but still he has trouble opening up because he knows you aren’t his Polaris but so very much wishes you to be… To an unhealthy degree, wishing that in the first place is unhealthy and projecting.

Floor 8-17 The Summoner asks Sirius if he knew Polaris personally, he asks them what they think. Sirius did and does.

Pollux was his rebound. Sirius never thought much of their “relationship”, he never intended to make it one.

Prefers binary, cisgender, individuals with few exceptions. Uses it like one would use Pansexual. When Spica quotes himself "When I was younger Bisexual was the “pansexual”." the others refer to it as Spicaism. Spica lectures them over their supposed misuse of grammar.

Health Related Content: Severe OCD(Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)

Magic Specialty: The Half of the Traditional Sorcerer. (I assume that refers to magic that is considered traditional to practice, possibly to his home or family.)

Spiky’s Flower: Yellow Tulips symbolize of unrequited love, though this is an older tradition and less relevant today.

Spica CANNOT sleep till he has completed everything necessary and then some each day leading to barely even getting 4 hours of sleep a night! Summoner make him SLEEP, please!!

Everything in his room is COLOR and ALPHABETICALLY ORDERED. If even ONE THING is out of place he will not stop till it is back in its rightful place.

Washes his hands like a million times or they aren't clean enough to him. Germs... ... Everything is sanitized. Daily. Possibly more. Arcturus helps him not go overboard.

Sexuality: Demisexual because the only attraction he’s felt was the crush he has had on the Summoner since childhood, despite being apart for so long it didn’t take long for those feelings to rekindle.

Magic Specialty: Pathfinding Magic

Love Language: Gives: Acts of Service / Physical Touch. Likes to Receive: Words of Affirmation.

Vaggie’s Flower: The Pink Camellia, it symbolizes longing.

Other

Due to sensory processing disorder, common in Autistic individuals, he will need time to decompress for a variety of reasons likely related to that or socially.

Vega often avoids non-packaged yogurt tube foods because the textures are overwhelming for him, though he'll try whatever the Summoner makes it's best to keep it separated and simple to not overwhelm it as this could cause a sensory upset

Alpheratz tries finding Vega new safe foods whenever old safe foods aren't safe anymore.

Vega sticks to a very strict routine, typical of Autistic individuals. If anything throws off his routine he may need to take a break before trying to get back on track or won't.

All his clothes are made with soft sensory friendly fabric, including uniforms. Contell Academia makes sure to accommodate all its student's needs.

Likely possessive due to his abandonment issues, he doesn’t want the Summoner to disappear again.

Incredibly possessive of Summoner to the point of threatening Sirius and attempting to have their magic sealed once they reconnect with Ursa Minor and find that they were once Polaris.

Arcana Twilight and Obey Me (OG) Comparison

Background: Obey Me (OG) was officially released on December 11, 2019, while Arcana Twilight was released on August 25, 2022 for worldwide audience. People have said that Arcana Twilight have similar mechanics with Obey Me (OG), but to what extent? I've played both games, so I'll write this comparison.

Disclaimer: The things I would write here would be based on my observation of the game mechanics and features present in both games. I did this post to list down the similarities and difference between both games, and not to cause dissonance between two fandoms.

Similarities

I'll list down the similarities in this format:

Differences

a. Amount of ads

The very first thing that will greet you when you open the Arcana Twilight is an ad. Both games have ads to support their game mechanics, but the amount of ads you could find in Arcana Twilight is more than those in Obey Me.

The Obey Me ads are mostly there to help the players gain more chances to battle the stages - thru gaining more AP or gaining more battle chances in hard stages or event stages.

The Arcana Twilight ads, however, are mostly found everywhere, since the ads can be used to double the resources drops/gold and to obtain materials and gold if you don't have MP to farm battle stages. You could even use the ads to reduce the time for Visits, which then you don't have to wait long to get gold to upgrade your cards. The ads in this game is like a massive cheat to progress faster thru the game. All you have to do is watch ads and you'll have your resources as reward.

However, there are times wherein forced ads would sometimes pop out after you complete a battle stage in main story or when you'd open the app. If the player wants to opt out of the ads, unfortunately, they can't do so. I'm not sure if the Arcana Club membership implements a "No-Ads" perk though.

As for why are there so many ads in the game? There's a speculation that the reason might be because of this. The link discussed about the reason for why it looks like they are in need of money. Since ads is an option to gain money in a game, they utilized it in order to make money because they are constantly on red. This is actually a good way for free-to-play (F2Ps) players to support the developers if they can't shell out money or buy the Arcana Club membership in the game.

b. Crystal Rewards in Main Story Stages and Daily Missions

One thing you'd notice right away is that in Arcana Twilight, each battle stage rewards 50 crystals for first-time 3-star clear. Then, after you clear out the whole chapter, you'll receive another crystal reward for 3-starring all stages in the chapter. The daily missions give out 50 crystals each day, so it pays the effort to open the game daily and clear out the dailies.

It is completely different from Obey Me (OG), wherein completing each stage in the main story, you'll only receive devil's tree items in the missions and occasionally, you'll get DP for the boss stage you've cleared for the chapter. The daily missions only give out a total of 18 devil points.

c. Events

Obey Me constantly push events every time in the game. There are times when there would be downtime, but it is pretty minimal. The events have story stages and reward ladders that players could opt to grind if they want the UR cards in the event. There are also event cards that is only available in time-limited event banners, which can boost the points for the reward ladder grind.

However, the Pop Quiz or Celestial Blessing events are mostly for spending players and not for F2Ps because of how much resources you need to put into the event just to get the desired rewards from the ladder. F2Ps could join the Birthday event grind but with proper preparation first. But the good news is that the past Pop Quiz and Celestial Blessing events do come back in Lonely Devil and you could rerun the event for a limited time to grind for the rewards as F2P.

Arcana Twilight, on the other hand, has event cards but there is no event story stages nor reward ladders to grind for. The event story is locked behind the event cards from the limited-time banners.

When it comes to limited-time event banners, Obey Me only have demon cards in the banners, whereas in Arcana Twilight, the event banners include both sorcerer card and wish card in the roster. The Obey Me event memory cards are only available in the event reward ladders.

Both games have event banner reruns and Obey Me rerun banners also retain the pity/total summons done from before, so that players could continue their pulls the next time the banner reruns. As for Arcana Twilight, I have no idea if the rerun banners also retain the pity/total summons from previous banner run.

d. Main Story Chapter Updates

There's this joke in the fandom that while Obey Me updates their main story chapter every week, Arcana Twilight gets update every year. It sounds like a joke, but it's not really far-fetch from what happened.

To start off, I'm not a day 1 player. I only started recently so the things I'm writing here are from what I understood in my research. I snooped around the archives of the official Tumblr account of Arcana Twilight and sub-Reddit and found their posts about the chapter additions in the game and noted their timestamps.

Their very first chapter addition is Floor 10, which means that on its initial release, the game has until Floor 9 only. Floor 10 was announced to be added on September 2022, Floor 11 on April 2023, Floor 12 on late October 2023, and recently released, Floor 13 was added on December 2023.

I still haven't reached Floor 13 yet. I stopped at Floor 8 at the time of this writing, because of the requirement needing me to be at least level 30 to proceed to next floor, which I'm currently low-leveled yet for that, so I could only bid my time and make my team stronger for the next floors.

But from what I could tell, the players feel as if they were left with a cliffhanger with the recent addition, with many of them thinking that a lot of questions were left unanswered. They could see the potential of the story in the game but, a lot of lore details weren't really touched on in the story.

I'm not really sure what happened in Floor 13 since I tried to avoid the story spoiler, but this image below is what I saw mostly talked about.

People are either thinking that this ending credit means that the main story of the game is completely finished or that this credit is saying that this floor is the end of Season 1 of main story.

In my opinion, I'm not really sure how to react to this kind of news. I just recently started the game and wrote the newbie guide and card mechanic guide posts just a few days after playing the game, only to find out that the game is probably on it last leg. I'm not really sure what would happen next for this game and I could only wait it out.

Obey Me (OG) has friend list where you could gain 50 AP by exchanging with friends daily, while Arcana Twilight doesn't have one.

Hi, it's me again! As I was going through your fandom list again, I noticed that you don't have Arcana Twilight on there, so may I take the liberty of recommending it to you? Since you like Twisted Wonderland, Obey Me!, Court of Darkness and Ayakashi: Romance Reborn, and there's a significant overlap in the fandoms I believe it would be right up your alley!

It follows you, the MC or Summoner, as the characters call you, mysteriously ending up in a world at the edge of the universe called Bound Arlyn. The characters there (six sorcerers each serving/blessed by a different constellation) decide the best course of action while looking for a way back to Mid Eartheim (aka Earth) is to keep you safe at their school, Contell Academy of Magic. Obviously shit starts going down the moment you step foot in there, but I won't spoil too much. The game as a ehole is themed after constellations and stars, so it has a very pleasant aesthetic imo.

The UI is practically identical to that of OM!, but please don't let that turn you off the game! It's really worth it I promise. The translation kinda flip flops between female and neutral pronouns for the MC, but I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be gn. Plus they're represented by a little blue bear (aka Ursa Minor). Animal MC solidarity with the pink/purple sheep!

So yeah, I really recommend giving it a shot! 👍

Vega loves You, Dearly. So much it's become an obsession, you're his obsession and it's too late now, you've already sucked him in like a vice, such a shame.

Vega is the manipulative type of yandere, he hates to end others to get what he wants so he'll manipulate instead.. if he can.

Sadly Sometimes Vega can't keep someone away from You, and so he has to do this the hard way, via a brutal but quick and painless death.

Vega hates getting his uniform dirty more than anything, especially when the blood of his nemesis stains it in scarlet and violence. He just throws it away at that point.

He'll leave You little gifts by your dorm, and compliment you frequently. It's sweet but you're unsuspecting.

He loves to take You gardening with Him. To spend time with You is his favorite thing to do, to examine you and study you is his hobby. But is it really his fault when You're so alluring to him?

He just wants to take care of you, show is worth to you and to live peacefully with you for all of eternity. But he is stuck in temporal alignment of having to eliminate people from your life.

What happens when he's caught or one of his friends seem to like you too though? He can't bear to kill his friends, hell he even cried over their safety. So he does the best thing he can possibly do. Come clean

Vega will absolutely beg on his knees for the other sorcerers to let him be with you. Eventually Vega feels so guilty he can't bear with himself.

He doesn't want to kill anyone, but he needs you. He needs you more than anything and anyone. He knows it's wrong.

However since he just confessed, will he be reported?

Spica's support. Spica cannot tolerate a threat of other sorcerers. However he does try to get Vega some help. Spica cares about his friends, so he begs Vega to get therapy and respects Vegas wishes of staying away. He also informs the counselor of Vega having "self esteem issues" so now Vega talks to the counselor too

Sirius' support. Sirius has his own fair share of horrible actions. Including putting other sorcerers in danger. He also just doesn't care about Vega killing others so he leaves Vega be. He might even help Vega if Vega asks. Or maybe Sirius will just offer. But in the end he worries about Vega too. Just a lil

Alpharatz's support. Alpharatz as the grandson of Schedar, and much as he dislikes his grandfather he doesn't report Vega. He also tries to get Vega help via healthy options and not murder. He urged Vega to get help immediately pretending to not care much. He cares a lot.

Arcturus' support. Arcturus is terrified to say the least. His adorable and friendly nature also coming into hand, Vega is his friend and Arcturus is loyal. So he stays silent and obeys Vega's wishes. Arcturus is truly the best friend. However he also worries about Vega. He wants his friends to be healthy and happy so he'll watch Vega from afar and make sure he's okay.

Pollux's support. Pollux also somewhat afraid of Vega, respects his wishes. But also because Pollux is loyal, even if he's sometimes stubborn he's still friendly and caring. So he doesn't do anything. Although he did stop associating himself with Vega in private. And after he got mad said "You're a sick person!" He calmed down and asked Vega to get therapy.

Vegas honesty quite pleased he wasn't reported but he does come to a realization that hits hard. And now he's sure to get help.

Vega doesn't dare share his actions though for obvious reasons, and the summoner is still oblivious.

Good end:

Vega confessed to You eventually. And once You accepted him he was over the moon. still composed of course.

He loves you dearly and you're finally all his, you belong to him now.

He's not into PDA but he'll hold your hand and waist to show that you're his.

Eventually later though he'll break down and let out his guilt. You do take this understanding btw

You grow up, get married and have kids (wether adoption or pregnancy doesn't matter)

He does get therapy, even if he didn't confess because he'd get arrested. And it helped him a lot to overcome the jealousy.

Bad end:

You rejected him, after all his efforts. His heart was shattered. He loves You so much. And yet you like someone else?

He gets mad and begins to mass murder everyone. If he can he'll kidnap you and hide you away with just him forever.

He takes his own life. He couldn't bear with the pain of unrequited love. He just wanted to be close to you.

Arcturus

This sorcerer was very surprised in seeing you in such a form.

"Summoner? Is that you??"

No wonder you did not answer his calls on your Stella Tab!

He was about to attack you earlier with his wand when he saw the necklace on your furry neck, and then he realizes that it was you.

Arcturus knows the potion's effect is temporary, so he was kind enough to help you in Contell while being a polar bear.

You cannot speak at anybody, you can only roar in response. Somehow Arcky understands you and was able to translate your roars as words.

Arcturus has knowledge about animals. When he remembered that polar bears usually survive in the cold, he did not hesitate in taking you to a cold room.

When you poofed back, he was both happy and disappointed because (1) the effects finally wore off! But (2), the softness of your fur is gone :(

Either way, he's just happy you're back <3

Spica

He was both surprised and disappointed, maybe even slightly amused.

"Summoner, what... *sighs* what happened? And what did you do?"

Spica was still sane enough to handle this mess.

Though he thought he was dumb for asking you questions when you can only reply with roars.

He helped you throughout the school period in Contell, helping you adjust to your temporary form.

Spica was rather relieved that nobody minded too much about you being a polar bear.

But some students did scream.

And he had a headache trying to calm the students. You had to help him calm down by letting him rest on your fur.

So when you poofed back, the sorcerer was quick to ask if you were alright. After that, he served you some tea.

Pollux

One of the students who screamed.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAA IT'S A BEAR— W-Wait, Summoner?!!"

Pollux was quick to ask you what happened, but just like Spica, he felt stupid because your only replies were roars.

Either way, he was more than happy to help you throughout class!

When partnered for projects, the sorcerer was more than happy to help you. He wished to do the work, but if you insist in helping him, why not?

He kept flexing you to everyone, saying that he befriended a polar bear

One of the sorcerers who just love to groom your fur! His fingers running through your fur is very ticklish.

When you poof back, he is similar to Arcturus who will pout because you're no longer a bear.

But hey! Pollux is still thankful that you turned back. He wouldn't admit it, but he would panic if the effect was permanent.

Alpheratz

Oh. My. Goodness.

"Bless the stars, Summoner. You turned into a bear... can I sleep on you?"

This man is living the life of having a pillow, even for just a short amount of time.

But that doesn't mean he will not help you. Honestly, it's more of an excuse for him to stay with you longer. But don't take this the wrong way!

Alpheratz is a genius, thus he'd definitely understand your roars. He is the second polar bear translator in Contell.

He knows that polar bears survive in the cold, and what he did was take you to a clearing that was very cool because of the trees giving oxygen. Then he snuggled you to sleep there.

And not gonna lie, it actually felt good just sleeping like this with him.

You swore you almost heard Alpheratz groan in disappointment when you poofed back.

But eventually, he was glad you're back. You're still napping with him in that clearing, though.

Sirius

For some reason, he knew before he even saw you.

"A failed experiment with the potions, I see? Summoner, you could've been careful and you wouldn't end up this way,"

He likes to tease you, but not too much that will make you uncomfortable.

Sirius is actually pretty helpful while you stay in that form. He has a bit of difficulties trying to translate your roars, but it ends well.

This man will definitely just say to everybody of how you ended up like this. The fact he says it so casually wants you to punch him.

This menace is the opposite of Pollux. If the latter will groom your fur, this guy right here will mess with it, leaving you with messy fur.

Now you look like a bear who went through a hurricane.

When you poofed back, Sirius was actually surprised when you roared like a bear at his face for the excessive teasing.

After that, he laughs and continues to mess with you. You cannot escape this maniac because you love him.

Vega

As soon as he saw you, Vega took out his sword and points it at you.

"How did a bear get here in Contell?... wait, Summoner, is that you?"

Once he realizes, he draws back his weapon and apologizes for frightening you like that.

To make it up for you, Vega helps you around Contell and the classes.

When another sorcerer teases you (mainly Sirius), he will not hesitate to draw his sword to them as a warning.

While helping you, he likes to touch your fur with his hands. Heck, the sorcerer is so tempted, he actually took off his gloves just to feel you.

Vega is aware that it is rather hazardous for you, but he likes feeds you with his raspberry gelato.

When you poofed back, he asks if you have any discomforts from the effect of the failed potion. He sighs in relief when you reassure him you are okay.

Regardless of your form, whether you're a human or a polar bear, Vega will always see you as his best friend.

the lack of arcana twilight content is making me focus on narrative crumbs because there are so many unanswered questions and I am a whore for history and lore. to those who have any theories out there, feel free to share as food for thought!

first off, the questions Sirius fed us:

Why is Bound Arlyn governed by constellations?

Why do the sorcerers pledge allegiance to them?

Why do monsters keep trying to invade this dimension?

but wait, those are only the big three. Looking into the finer details, there are more mysteries.

What is the universe trying to correct?

What exactly is the untold legacy of Bound Arlyn's Towers?

Is the Great Sorcerer Polaris still alive?

Was/Is Polaris as noble and heroic as others make him out to be?

Who is Debris?

What connection does our Shepard, Arcturus, have with the Void Cult's leader, “The Shepard” ?

Who is Sirius?

Is he the 1st Sorcerer of Canis Major? The Traitor of Bound Arlyn? An obviously pivotal character who knows more that he tells? A bastard? A hottie?

And of course, where do we fit in the grand scheme of things? What role does the Summoner play in this story? Where did our summoning abilities come from? Who are we?

I've always found it strange than our mascot is a bear, and our icon is Ursa Minor – which is Polaris's constellation. Add in the fact that we already have imprints of the main cast when this is seemingly the first time we've met.

Here's a bonus question that in my opinion, is the most crucial and curious one.

What was the promise, the contract that we made?

AT! Vega when gn! Mc comes back with a bruise on their back (mc as a gangster)

Since I can't seem to find any Arcana twilight fics here- I'll try to do one, sorry if it's bad, it's 11 pm already 💀💀

Vega had not really given a care for the transfer student. Only talking when needed or when he was asked to, worrying about the student was Spica and Arcky's job. He supposes that'd be enough.

Until he had imprinted on them. After that little fiasco, they started hanging out more, mostly to the gardens as both of them like the serene atmosphere. Vega knew Mc's mannerisms to a T from how they walk to how they feel, Mc usually is a bubbly person who can glare at you and make yourself pee.

He found out of their life back on Earth, how they created a gang called Ishvara and he unsurprisingly found himself admiring the fellow human once more, maybe even more.

Today however was different. The exchange student avoided the council members at all costs, even Pollux and Mc always treats Pollux like a twin, he doesn't understand. Did they have a bad day? Or did he and his comrades do something to offend Mc?

Everytime he tried to approach her Mc slips away like sand between his fingers until he finally gave up for the day and decided to try again tomorrow, though unwillingly under the order of Spica since Mc is having a bad day and Vega kept pestering them.

Sighing in a discontent matter, the sorcerer retired to his bed while reading a book on his couch to take his mind off of today's events, well trying to. He keeps glancing over the words of the book he usually enjoyed that it was starting to irk him until he felt a knock at the door, sighing once more, he put the book aside as he opened his door.

He expected it to be Arcky but was surprised to Mc instead. The h/c colored human looked groggy enough to almost tumble on Vega when he opened the door

"Summoner? Are you alright?" Vega asked in concern while holding Mc's shoulders as he guided them into his bed

Though trying to muster a smile it did not reach their eyes that it made Vega's brows furrow. After he closed the door is when Mc decided to speak

"Can you.... Help me?" They asked

The momentary but visible hesitance in their voice made Vega agree almost immediately but of course, without thinking as to why they were so secluded the whole day and now suddenly asking for help in such a hesitant way

After seeing him nod, Mc slowly stood up and lifted the back of their shirt, back facing Vega. An audible but short gasp was hears from the taller man and almost instantly Mc felt coolness in their back as gentle but firm hands made them sit down cross legged on the bed, back facing Vega once more

"Summoner where did you get this?" He asked as he started taking the first aid kit out

The pregnant silence was enough to make Vega purse his lips making him sigh as he poured alcohol on a cotton and gently tapped the human's back

"I'm guessing you got into a fight with one of the students here" he said in a firm tone, no. He wasn't asking. He knows the answer

"... Yes" the summoner spoke after flinching when Vega accidentally pushed the cotton with alcohol a little too hard making the sorcerer retract and apologize

"I'm not gonna ask how or why it happened, but please do tell me who had done this" he spoke after wrapping bandages around Mc's waist

Mc turned to look at the sorcerer with a look of curiosity adorning their own face, tilting their head to the side they asked

"aren't you curious about how and why it happened though?"

"Even if I am, would you have told me?" He asked while cleaning up

"no... Because if I start telling you, I'd want to tell you everything" they said in a whisper

The answer had made Vega stop in his tracks momentarily, glancing back at the summoner before finishing up cleaning and sat next to them. Didn't really know what to answer he just gave a light chuckle and slowly pushed his companion to his bed, covering them with the sheets. The visible shock on their face was cute that it made Vega almost smile outwardly

"I think it's better for you to sleep here yeah? Don't worry, I'll explain to Spica tomorrow" he assured "Now sweet dreams Summoner"

He was about to go to the couch beside his bed when Mc was able to grab ahold of his sleeve and gently tugging it towards them. Vega could do nothing but to lie right next to them before they pull out the puppy dog eyes.

After he got comfortable, they started staring right into each other, their hands unknowingly entangling in-between them

"Thank you, Vega... For everything" Mc spoke in a drowzy tone, sleepy from the chaotic events that had unfolded

"Anytime Mc, just... Promise me that you'd never try to hide when your hurt from me, alright?" He said, slightly serious

Mc nodded and asked him to do the same, they even pinkie promised. As childish as it was, Vega couldn't help but go along with Mc's schemes once more.

After making sure the summoner had fully fallen asleep, Vega sighed in content as he gently pulled them towards him, wrapping them around his arms not too tight to not hurt them. He already thought of the things he would tell the council before acting on it, punishing the people who had dared pick a fight with his Mc, even though he knows fully well they had already taken care of it. The students actions still went against school rules (a/n: and the fact that he wants to torture them just a tiny bit ^^)

He was about to think about their punishments some more when a yawn came out of his throat, blinking, he had decided that he should retire for the day and deal with it tomorrow. He promised himself to be with Mc whenever they got hurt, he wasn't naive, he knew this won't fully stop. The only thing he could do is to be there for them and that he shall do.

That was Vega's final thought before following Mc into the dream scape until reality woke them up the next morning.

Arcana Twilight discussion (Spoilers)

So... There are many spoilers ahead if you haven't finished till floor 9 yet.

If I have made any mistakes or shared misinformation, feel free to inform me in the comments.

Now that, that's out of the way let's begin.

So.... My lovely boy, our beloved Pollux was grounded for a while and being watched. During that time he and Arcturus were kind of....... Not in good terms? Like, Arcturus wants to help and Pollux is tired, bummed out and just wants space.

During that time,

This happened.

MC summons him outside of Contell.

(Y'all........ Arcturus and Pollux's friendship is so pure...... They should get married.)

After that he and MC went to explore.

Much much later it was discovered that the banquet incident was the work of Dark Sorcerers.

These Dark Sorcerers are also known as Sorcerers of the void. Not many sorcerers know about them cause they are a secret only high ranking ones know.

They made their first appearance in the story when MC had summoned Pollux outside of contell, spended a while exploring and having fun interrupted by Sirius then attacked by monsters that were targeting the MC and then all of them entering a forest and encountering Dark Sorcerers who seemed to have not noticed them and were busy creating a rift. After they left, the rift was dealt with by Sirius.

These Dark sorcerers have been targeting and attacking the MC with monsters ever since and Alpheratz thinks it's because they want a summoner on their team so that they can summon monsters.

Pollux is off the hook for now.

It also appears as if him getting in trouble is a regular occurrence.

And that time he said he saw his twin, he was crying... I wonder why.

So far. Even if it feels like we've been around the characters for a while.... It's come to my attention that.. . We hardly know anything about the characters. Not even their likes and dislikes, let alone their past.

And while the gifting options of SOS does indeed help. I need more info to write fics.

Oddly but also obviously the one we know the most about so far is Vega.

It's been confirmed that he and the MC are childhood friends.

Separated then and reunited now.

What really happened is that... When they were young little children, they used to hang out a lot. Go to school together and come back home together. And the way he spoke about their friendship almost made it feel like MC was his only friend.

One day they were going home from school when they noticed a hole in the middle of nowhere. Being naive and young, they jumped in there without much thought.

And that's how they ended up in Bound Arlyn. In the southern boundary (if I remember correctly) .

Arcturus, the shepherd noticed them and the rift. During that time, Arcturus looked the same age as he does in the present. Proving that sorcerers don't age.

Anyway,

To send them back home, he told them to enter the rift again before it closes. One thing he emphasized was to not look back.

Everything was going okay, MC and young Vega held each other's hands and entered the rift. But.... For whatever reason Vega peeked back a little.

And that's how he didn't make it and MC was returned to Mid Earthiem. Alone.

Alone in a world unfamiliar to him, Vega looked back at Arcturus for guidance..... But he wasn't there.

Then Vega wandered about and was eventually taken in by a woman named Giana. Lady Giana is also a sorcerer.

Vega has expressed that he enjoyed his life here in Bound Arlyn then in Mid Eartheim but always felt like he was missing something. That obviously being MC.

Now, the strangest part about this whole incident is that. When Arcturus recites the incident, he always only and solely mentions Young Vega and never the friend that came along with him.

Present Vega concludes that his memory must've been tempered with. And even the MC seemed to be having difficulty remembering the incident (it felt like that to me).

Vega, for now is the sole person who remembers the incident vividly.

Btw, the incident occurred 13 years ago.

(But.... What if what Vega remembers is not true? What if MC isn't that childhood friend? What if the entire concept of another person coming with him is only a part of his imagination, an imagination he built before the MC arrived and then pushed it on to them. Feeling comfort in the fact that he isn't the only one from Mid Eartheim anymore. But that would make some of his behavior weird.. . . But it could also mean that it took time for him to come to terms with that fact of MC being from Mid Eartheim.... )
