Can I request something with being Jake's kid (the reader) and aonung is fascinated by her and she doesn't know how to swim, turns out she's his mate, and maybe some cuddles?
Being Ao’nung’s Sully mate
When your family first arrived, Ao’nung thought you were all ridiculous and annoying
You could barely hold your breath underwater for a minute
The fact that you weren’t making much progress was frustrating
But Ao’nung just couldn’t find it in him to make fun of you
If anything, your frustration was cute and amusing to him
He was curious about you
Which annoyed him even more
Instead of making a mean comment, he found himself smiling at you
He didn’t know what had gotten into him
Lo’ak is absolutely petty that Ao’nung picks on you less
Don’t get me wrong, he’s still mean and he laughs when you choke on water
But he never says anything bad about you
Which raises your siblings’ suspicions
Because he doesn’t just waste time on insulting you
You actually learn stuff from him
For your siblings, learning from him was a much slower process
He was soft with you and it was gross for them
His friends start to question him
“What? No? I don’t treat her differently. She’s just like all of them.”
They’d tease and make fun of him
He hates the fact that he gets flustered around you
He doesn’t even like you
But he can’t help like the feeling of your hand on top of his when he helps steady your ilu
Or when your fingers would brush his when you stood too close to him
Tsireya often set you guys up
She would guide your siblings away from you and Ao’nung when you were swimming or learning something new
So Ao’nung is forced to face you
In all honesty you found him very attractive
Although you disliked him for picking on your siblings
And you hate when he laughs at you for being a terrible diver
“Would you stop that? We don’t do this in forests.”
“At least you know how to float now.”
“I’m sorry, If i had known swimming was a skill I would need in the future I would’ve learned it.”
He starts talking to you more than usual
And you’d often find yourself alone in a conversation with him
Ao’nung’s teasing starts becoming flirtatious
Whenever he teases or laughs at you, it doesn’t feel like he’s making fun of you anymore
And then his feelings start becoming too obvious, even to himself
Everyone could see, but he’s always in denial
Except this time he knows he has feelings for you
Lots of flirting
Even though it looked like he was just annoying you, to anyone else’s eyes, he was flirting with you
He’d find excuses to touch you
Whether it’s resting an arm on your shoulder or messing up your hair to annoy you, any form of physical contact has him over the moon
Then imagine his reaction when Eywa gave signs and his mother, the Tsahik, confirms that you are his mate
He was confused, angry, flustered and happy at the same time
He had no idea how he was going to tell you
But when he finally gathered the courage to tell you, you weren’t surprised
You already knew
Not fully sure, but you’ve seen the signs
Nothing really changed between the two of you, except the fact that he’s now brave enough to make bold moves
Kisses the back of your hand after randomly snatching it as he passes by
Casually throws an arm around your shoulders
Unconsciously places his hand on the small of your back or around your waist when your standing close to him
It’s his natural instinct
When the two of you are sitting slightly far from the others, you’d lean on him
He loves it when you do that
Because it tells him how safe and comfortable you feel around him
Ao’nung finds it adorable how you’d unconsciously snuggle close to him
You don’t show gestures of affection much in public
But everyone knows just from the little actions

When you and your family first came to Awa'atlu Ao'nung immediately caught your eye and you lit a sparkle in his. Both of you drew to each other like a magnet and ever since then both of you became inseparable. When Ao'nung asked you to become his girlfriend you were head over heels. You were so ecstatic to finally have him, to claim him as your boyfriend.
When you began to tell him how you were excited to do romantic things together like walking around the village with your hands intertwined with his or riding ilu's together his ears pinned to his skull. "I was thinking that maybe we should keep us a secret..."
"A secret? Why?" You questioned while scanning his ocean blue irises, trying to figure out the reason why he would rather keep this love to himself instead of sharing it with the world.
"Because, you know how my mother is and I just don't want her to get upset and try to separate or forbid us." he muttered as he gazes down at the ground, trying not to make eye contact with you so you wouldn’t see through this facade.
"You really think she would do that to us?" You didn't want to keep your relationship a secret, you wanted to freely be with him without any restrictions.
"She could and I don't want to lose you. I would rather be with you in the shadows of the night than not have you at all" he emphasizes his point by taking his hand and cupping your cheek, holding intense eye contact while he continues to persuade you.
The words falling from his lips sounded sweet but it was all lies, he's feeding you words that are filled with pure deceit. He spins you into this web hoping that his sugar-coated words were enough to get you to agree and in the end they were.
You agreed to the secret arrangement. For you as long as you had him it was enough, no matter the circumstances.
Being with Ao'nung was amazing. He was sweet, kind, and loving. After Dark, when both of your families were fast asleep the two of you would sneak to the jungle and indulge in nightly swims inside the small bodies of water. Watching his chiseled physique glisten under the moonlight, his wet black hair flowing down his back as it stuck to his skin, and the smile on his face was a majestic sight.
You couldn't avert your gaze from him no matter how hard you tried. "Come on syulang, get in the water instead of gawking at me." He teases, his infamous smirk plastered on his face as he caught you basically undressing him with your eyes.
When you realize you were caught a purple hue spreads across your cheeks, feeling slightly embarrassed that he noticed your wandering eyes. You moved your feet from the jungle floor and walked into the cool body of water. You swam gracefully toward Ao'nung and once you were close enough to him you planted your feet and stood in front of him. "I wasn't gawking at you, I was just...admiring you." A soft smile tugs at your lips as your finger trails up Ao'nung's abs and chest, wanting to feel the body that you loved to claim.
As your hand moves across Ao'nung's teal skin he could feel his level of desire and lust increasing the more your hand grazes different areas of his skin. He moved his hand down the small of your back, pulling you closer to him, causing your breasts to press lightly against his chest. "I love when you admire me but I think it's time I admire you now." When he finishes his sentence he pulls you in for a heated and hungry kiss, devouring your lips as if they were his favorite thing in the world.
Ao'nung gently taps the back of your thighs, indicating that he wants to pick you up so you grant his access, jumping up slightly and wrapping your slender legs around his torso. Without breaking the kiss, he carries you to the mossy jungle floor and lays you down gently as he continues to show your body affection.
He trails wet kisses down your frame until he reaches your loincloth, "I waited all day to have you like this..." he verbalizes softly as he unties your loincloth and pulls it down which exposed your slick-covered core, "you look so beautiful syulang" Ao'nung's murmurs as he dives between your legs, ready to devour you as if you were his prey.
You loved this Ao'nung, the one who showered you with affection, took care of your every desire, and the one who treated you as if you were the most delicate flower on Pandora.
It's the other Ao'nung you didn't like... the Public Ao'nung.
When you were out in public Ao'nung blatantly ignores you as if the love that both of you share is nonexistent. Whenever you walked in his direction he would turn away, around his friends he would look you up and down with disgust-filled eyes, and he wouldn't even utter a word to you.
As you walked through the village you saw Ao'nung and his friends standing near the pier. When Ao'nung looked over in your direction you gave him a loving smile and a wave. When his friends saw this gesture their faces scrunched up, "Why is that freak waving at you Ao'nung?" One of his friends asked
Ao'nung shrugs his shoulders "I don't know, that demon blood is probably messing with her brain" his comments earn laughs from the whole circle which boosts his ego. He wanted to wave back and flash you a smile, run up to you and give you a loving hug but he couldn’t. He couldn’t let his friends see him in that way with you so he looks at you with cold dead eyes before turning back and chatting with his friends.
This side of him you hated, the two of you would have the best time the night before or sneak off during the day and show each other some much-needed affection, and then when he got around other Na'vi he would even bat an eye at you.
Over time you just grew to accept his foul treatment even though it broke a little piece of your heart each time. You knew this is what you had to endure to be with him so you just sucked it up and dealt with him and his two personas.
Every time you feel like it was becoming too much, that this burden of secrecy was gnawing at your core you would play the words he spoke to you the night he asked you to become his 'I would rather be with you in the shadows of the night than not have you at all'
Knowing that he would go through this just so his mother didn't find out made you feel like he truly loved you and that you could handle the way he treats you in public because he has to deal with worse when trying to hide it from Ronal.
If only you knew his true reason behind keeping you a secret...
As you walked toward the village you saw Ronal struggling to carry some of her healing supplies, "I can help you carry those Ronal" you give her a soft smile, grabbing the items she was struggling with so you could lighten her load.
Ronal looks down at you for a few moments before stiffly nodding her head, "Follow me" You trailed behind her as she walked into the healing pod. Once you were inside you placed everything on the floor.
As you were about to turn around and walk out you heard Ronal call for you, "Come sit with me"
You walk over and sit down next to her nervously as you tried to figure out why Ronal wanted you to stay. As you sat down she handed you a mortar and pestle that was filled with a numerous amount of herbs. You began to crush them lightly, turning them into paste consistency as Ronal began to speak.
"You know I wasn't too fond of you and your family when you first arrived, I thought that you wouldn't be able to pull your weight around the village but you proved me wrong" While she speaks she doesn't turn to look at you, instead she focuses on making herbal remedies.
Ronal did have her doubts about you and your family since you were forest people but now that she has watched each one of your family members excel in their way of life you all have earned her respect.
"Tsireya told me that you were training under Mo'at as Tsakarem back in the forest..."
You immediately nod your head in agreement, "Yes I was" You loved learning from your grandmother. Being able to learn all her techniques and skills made you proud to be her grandchild, proud to be the heir of the Tsahìk title.
She turned her head and finally faced you, "How about you come by a few times a week and take lessons with Tsireya? I know she would love for you to learn alongside her" Ronal knew you had potential and she wanted to help mold you and not let your skills falter just because you left the forest.
Hearing her say that made a bright smile appear on your lips, you were already excited for your future lessons, "Yes I would love that!"
"Come by tomorrow after lunch. Tsireya and I will be waiting for you"
"Thank you for this opportunity Ronal"
"You're welcome" She grabs the mortar and pestle from your hands and begins to shoo you away, "Now run along and have some fun" She gave you a small smile, the first time you'd seen her smile since the Tulkun returned.
You say your goodbyes to Ronal and then you begin to walk through the village. As you walked along the bouncy pathways you were so happy, happy that you were now going to be doing the thing you loved which was practice healing and you were even happier that Ronal approved of you.
Knowing that she liked you made your heart feel like it would burst at the seams because it meant you wouldn't have to hide your relationship with Ao'nung anymore. You didn't have to love him in the dark any longer, you both could be together whenever and wherever you desired.
You were so excited to tell Ao'nung what just happened, to tell him that he no longer had to worry. You began wandering all over the village to find him so you could tell him the amazing news.
As you walk near the beach you saw Ao'nung standing near the ilu pen. Your lips curled into a smile as you watched him feed and care for the ilu’s. This is the Ao'nung you loved to be around, the persona of him you adored. You step off the pathway and began walking on the sand so you could talk to him.
"Hey, sayrìp! Are you almost done here because I—" Your sentence became lodged in your throat when you felt Ao'nung's hand tightly wrap around your bicep as he dragged you along the beach to somewhere that no one could see or hear the two of you.
"Ao'nung what are you?—" Once he was somewhere he felt no one could see he let you go and shoved you into the huge boulder behind you which made you wince.
"what the fuck do you want?" He growled as he towered over you with fire in his eyes, "Why are you coming up to me in public?! You know I don't want you coming up to me where people could see us!" His voice was deep and dark, he was honestly scaring you. He's never handled you this way before, seething with anger and getting physical.
"I-I just wanted to t-tell you that I was talking to your mother and—"
"My mother?! You were talking to my mother?!"
"Yes...She was just telling me that I could—"
You could feel anger radiating off his body, hearing that you spoke to his mother infuriated him because now his lie could no longer be in effect, "Why did you talk to her?!"
"Well... I ran into her while I was walking in the village. I helped her carry some things to her healing pod and then she told me that she wanted to train me. She likes me Ao'nung. We don't have to hide our relationship anymore, and you don't have to worry about her forbidding us," You place your hand on his cheek and cup it gently "W-We can truly be together now."
Ao'nung's veins run cold as he feels your touch. His lie has now shriveled up to the point where he can't use that as an excuse, "No we can't, we can never be public." he moves your hand from his face and looks down at the ground.
"What? W-Why not?" Your brows furred as your voice raised in confusion, you couldn't understand how this wasn't the right time when Ronal wasn't an issue anymore.
"Because I said so, that's why!"
"That isn’t a reason Ao’nung!" The tension between both of you was thick, you could see something swirling inside Ao'nung. It was as if the words were at the tip of his tongue, about to be spoken but you could tell there was some restraint.
"Tell me Ao'nung! Tell me!" You shouted in his face, trying to make him spill his guts, trying to pull the truth out of him.
"I don't want to be seen with you okay?! There I said it! Are you happy now?!"
Your ears pin down as your lips begin to tremble, "D-Don't want to be seen with me? I- Ao'nung what are you talking about?"
"I don't want my friends to see me with you, the clan will think I'm a skxawng for dating someone with demon blood. My friends will think I'm crazy for dating someone that isn't Metkayina." Ao'nung continues to ramble, telling you the multiple different reasons why he didn't want to go public with you.
Hearing each reason of his reasons made your eyes gloss. Hearing him refer to you as a 'demon' made you feel sick to the stomach, "That's how you think of me Ao'nung?! You see me as a demon?! You don't want to be with me because of what people will think, what your stupid friends will think?"
"Yes, I care what they think! They're my friends, the people grew up with! I'm future Olo'eyktan, I have to care about how the clan sees me!"
"S-So that's all you care about? Your fucking reputation?" Your voice begins to heighten as your body runs hot from the whirlwind of emotions twirling inside you, "All this time I decided to take all your shit because I loved you and I thought you were sacrificing for me and you were lying the whole time?!" the tears that were welling in your eyes were now streaming down your face.
You couldn't believe Ao'nung would do something like this to you. You took up with his harsh words, treatment, and actions, and he just attempted to hide you away as if you were a deranged person who needed to be concealed.
"Do you even love me Ao'nung?! Was that a lie too?!"
"N-No that wasn't a lie, that was true." Ao'nung did truly love you. Your beautiful voice, the way your Omatikaya accent presented itself whenever you were happy or excited, the way your eyes twinkled under the sunlight, everything about you Ao'nung loved. It just wasn't enough to make him love you in the light of day which hurt you the most.
"I still want to be with you syulang..." he places his hands on both of your shoulders, gliding his thumbs against your midnight blue skin. As he spoke he began to feed you those same sugar-coated words, the same words he used to make you his girlfriend. His way with words were hypnotizing, he was beginning to get you in the frame of mind for you to agree.
For you to agree to keep being his secret lover, in the shadows of the night. But you could no longer handle being his secret anymore.
"No..No..No" you shake your head, swatting his hands off your skin "If you don't want to be with me in public, I don't want to be with you at all... so what do you say Ao'nung? Do you want to be together in public this time, for us to enjoy each other in the light of day?" Your amber eyes were glimmering with hope, hoping that Ao'nung would finally change, that he would finally be with you fully and not be ashamed.
"I-I can't y/n, I love you but I can't..." A single tear falls from his eye, knowing that he hurt you made him feel bad but he valued his self-image more.
Your tail wagged aggressively behind you, knowing that he didn't fully want you crushed your soul, "SCREW YOU AO'NUNG!" You hissed as you shoved him so hard into his chest that the wind was knocked out of his lungs, "You're a real kalweyaveng! A fucking jerk! I hate you!" You loved him, every fiber in your body loved him, and the fact that he used you, played with your emotions as if you meant nothing cut deep.
"I'm sorry syulang but I-"
"Save that weak ass apology Ao'nung and stop calling me that! You don’t even truly mean it! Every term of endearment you’ve spoken has been a lie because if it wasn’t we wouldn’t be in this fucked up situation! I don't EVER want to talk to you again!" You stormed away, red hot with anger, nonstop tears staining your cheeks, and your body ached from feeling heartbroken.
You went to your marui and you were thankful that no one was home. You went to your room, pulled your privacy curtain open, and plopped onto your bed. As you cried into your pillow your thoughts couldn't do anything but consume you.
You began to wonder why Eywa decided to inflict such torture on you, wondering why Ao'nung couldn't love you properly, wondering why he was ashamed of you, and why he could only love you when no one else was watching.
As the volume of your sobs intensified your head began to throb in pain. You couldn't even concentrate on your surroundings anymore, the only thing you could hear was your painful sobs.
Neteyam got home from finishing his clan duties, ready to rest for the remainder of the day. As he walked through the mauri he didn't see anyone but he heard cries and sniffles. When he realized they were coming from your room his tail began to curl up behind him, he hated hearing you cry. Since he was your older brother he wanted to protect you and keep you safe.
"y/n are you okay? What happened?" He pulled back your privacy curtain and it revealed you laying on your stomach with your face buried in your pillow.
"L-Leave me alone Neteyam, I *sniffle* don't want to talk about it" You sit up and place your feet on the floor, trying to wipe the tears that were continually pouring down your cheeks.
Neteyam took a look at your whole appearance and as his eyes scanned your arm he could see a purple bruise which angered him but he didn't show it because he knew that wouldn't help you in your fragile state.
Neteyam sat down next to you while wrapping his arm around your shoulder and pulling you into his embrace, "tsmuke please tell me what's wrong, I want to help you. Bare your soul with me so I can understand the reason for your tears."
feeling Neteyam's warm embrace, his soothing voice and his calming presence caused more tears to flow harder down your face as you opened up. "I-It's A-Ao'nung," your voice is soft as you speak, trying to repress your crying hiccups from surfacing.
Neteyam's brow bones furrowed at the mention of Ao'nung, "What did that skxawng do?"
You took a deep breath, trying to pull yourself somewhat together so your words could be coherent when you told Neteyam the story. "We were dating, a couple." Neteyam's eyes widened at the newfound information.
He of course didn't know you were dating him or that you were even interested in Ao'nung which caught him off guard a little but he continued giving you his undivided attention.
"I just broke up with him because I found out that he didn't want to be seen around the village with me. The only thing he values is his friend's opinion, he didn't even truly love me enough to be with me in public. He manipulated me, making me believe that Ronal didn't want us together so we had to keep it a secret but in reality, he didn't want me to ruin his stupid reputation."
Neteyam's jaw tensed as he processed your words. He was shocked at first but it quickly turned to fuming anger, "Did he give you that bruise too?" A growl rumbled from his throat as he once again looked at the purple handprint around your bicep.
"When I tried to talk to him he snatched me up and shoved me because he didn't want anyone to see us together" As you relive the event that just occurred you could still feel Ao'nung dark presence around you. His coldness was still on your skin and that only made you feel worse.
"I'm gonna kill him for hurting you." saying that Neteyam was mad was a complete understatement. Knowing that someone hurt you emotionally and physically, manipulated and played you like you were an idiot made him want to go ballistic.
As Neteyam continued seething with raw anger while trying to comfort you to the best of his ability Lo'ak walked in, "What's up you guys?"
Lo'ak felt the anger and tension in the atmosphere which made him concerned, "What happened?" Lo'ak looked between you and Neteyam waiting for someone to give him some answers
"Ao'nung happened, he treats our tsmuke like shit and thinks he can get away with it."
Hearing you and Ao'nung in the same sentence instantly made Lo'ak pissed, he didn't even need to hear the full story. He could see you were hurting and that was enough for him "Let's go kick his ass"
Watching Lo'ak pound his fists together as he cracks his knuckles weren't a good sign, "Please don't fight him, I don't want you both getting in trouble with Dad over this" Lo'ak was already in trouble for starting an argument with some boys in the village and this would only add fuel to the fire.
"I don't give two shits about getting in trouble with Dad right now, Ao'nung is going to pay for hurting you. Plus when Dad hears the full story I doubt he'll even be mad anymore." Lo'ak said as he grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the mauri and toward the village.
"Now tell me where that bitch is so I can cave his face in." As you looked up at Lo'ak you could see the rage stirring up inside him just waiting to be unleashed.
You knew this was definitely going to end badly but you didn't care because Ao'nung deserved it.
Every punch, kick, and insult your brothers give him he deserves because he decided to love you in the shadows.

Draft | How Weird _________________
Ao’Nung x Reader Prompt: Obvious Ao’Nung who falls in love at first sight, and only develops more of a soft spot for Reader. A/N: Still currently writing this! Just a small preview :D ____________________________________
How weird.
You’d just arrived in the Met’Kayina clan, after a long, tiresome journey all the way from the Omaticayan forest. You’d never wanted sleep more.
You noticed the wary gazes of those surrounding your family. Eyes full of caution, tails lashing slightly.
You look in curiosity as two boys your age approach. Standing behind your brothers, you narrow your eyes as you see the boys blatantly grabbing your eldest’s tail. You hope to prick them with your gaze.
‘How rude..’ You’d thought.
Their body language was filled with scrutiny and mockery as they observed your family.
The taller of the two seemed to have finally spotted you, as he made a glance your way.
His greyish eyes widened slightly as he looked at you, a emotion in them you couldnt recognise. As quickly as it came, the boy looked away, turning his head as he walked off. Beckoning for his shorter friend to follow.
You felt your skin prickle, as though you were self conscious all of a sudden. Why did he look at you so.. weirdly..
And as you’d finally set your stuff down, having been shown around and offered a helping hand by the chief’s daughter herself, Tsireya, thats when you’d learned of the boy’s name.
Her strange brother, Ao’nung.
And the look he’d given, was only the tip of the iceberg of what was yet to come.

hellooo! i absolutely love your writing, you’re very talented! i was wondering if you could write a aonung x fem!metkayina!reader for me where y/n makes a gift for aonung out of random little trinkets but gets super embarrassed so she quickly lays it on the ground next to him and runs off. idk it just sounds adorable to me! if you can’t do that or can think of a better way to write it than i’m explaining, that’s fine! <333
A Necklace
Tumblr media
summary: Y/N is not a well-known member of the Metkayina, yet she yearns for the Olo’eyktan’s son Ao’nung, so she makes him a gift to show her affection towards the boy
1.2k words!
──── ⑅*❀*⑅ ────
You grew up hearing the story about how your mother courted your father. It was a warm day and your mother had worked for weeks assembling a seashell embellished headpiece for him to wear. Your mother gave it to your father as she confessed her feelings, and your father has yet to remove the headpiece from his body.
You couldn’t help but think of a certain boy when your mother repeats the story to you. Ao’nung. The clan leader’s son. His hair was tied perfectly into a bun, letting his curls out on display, his arms were wide and the way he smiled made your heart flutter.
You talked to him occasionally as you were friends with Tsireya. It was short-lived conversations as you could never keep them going due to the feeling of butterflies in your stomach making you so nervous you felt as if you might throw up.
Whenever he looked at you his eyes shimmered in the sunlight and his skin softly glowed. You were convinced he was the most beautiful man in Pandora. You had to tell him your feelings. Whether he accepted them or not, you had to tell him so the butterflies in your stomach could flourish or they could return back to cocoons and be hidden again.
Going on your daily walk you spotted a beautiful seashell that the tide had only just brought in. It was small maybe the size of your fingertip, shaped in a delicate spiral, it was painted a sage green colour with subtle hints of white striped across it. Picking it up carefully you inspected it. It was really quite beautiful.
The idea hit you like a strong wave. You were going to make Ao’nung a necklace, confess your feelings and pray to Eywa he is kind to your heart. A rush of motivation flowing through your veins, you began to pick up little seashells and rocks you found across the beachfront.
Tsireya spotted you down by the beach and ran towards you. “What are you up to?” She inquired at you. Surprised you took the shells and other things you have found and hid them behind your back.
“Nothing!” You smiled mischievously. You were a terrible liar and Tsireya knew that. She rolled her eyes and quickly span you around seeing the shells.
“Why are you hiding shells? Are they magical?” She joked looking into your tightly shut palm.
“You have to keep this secret, okay?.” You said to her in a hush tone. Tsireya looked at you waiting with anticipation for you to say your secret. “I like Ao’nung and want to make him a gift.”
Tsireya’s lips grew into a smile that soon let out a loud giggle. “Y/N everyone knows you like my brother! You are so obvious with your affections towards him. You’re anything but subtle.” You felt as if your heart dropped to your toes letting out a grumble of embarrassment.
“Shut up about my subtly and never ever let Ao’nung know about this gift, I beg you.” Tsireya nodded patting your shoulder.
“I’d never tell him that. I’m your friend not just his sister.” You thanked her before scurrying off back to your home. Laying down all of the shells on your floor you organised it into a repeating pattern. In the middle was a large white shell that had green designs on the inside of it. On each side you put the small spiral shells you first found. Then finally you found some small beads your mother had made out of clay. Using some string you tied it together and prayed that Ao’nung would accept the gift along with your feelings.
Mustering up at least a tiny bit of courage you walked towards were Ao’nung usually spent his afternoons alone. You’d noticed his habit of sitting on the beach just as the sun began to fall a couple of years before and you always saw him sitting peaceful, letting the oceans breeze calm him.
You walked so that you were a couple of meters behind him and watched him in all his glory. Maybe this is why everyone knew you loved him, you really weren’t subtle on where your gaze was fixated. Seeing him so calm and close to dozing to sleep you walked towards him silently laying the necklace beside him praying he wouldn’t notice you. You slowly backed away from him.
You were sure you gift had been delivered successfully until you stepped on a inconveniently loud twig, snapping it in half. “Shit!” you muttered to yourself seeing Ao’nung startled. “Fuck fuck fuck” you grumbled to yourself trying to walk fast back to the village.
Ao’nung turned to his left to see a beautiful necklace laid out beside him. He noticed the way the shells had been specifically placed and the way the necklace was lightly tied at the end so someone could easily undo it. Looking around he noticed your fast moving figure.
“Y/N!” he shouted. You halted in your tracks cursing yourself and that stupid stick. You waved while slowly waking towards him. It suddenly clicked to him, you made him this necklace. Wait, you made him that necklace. The fact you thought of him enough to do this made his heart flutter, along with the fact he longed for you since the moment he first met you. He smiled up at you. “Did you make this?” He said carefully picking up the necklace as he got himself off the ground.
You nodded at him looking down. Must Eywa punish you so much. This was so embarrassing. You were going to burn that stick in a flame full of fury after Ao’nung rejects you. “I made it for you.” You stated to him feeling as if your stomach resided in your pelvis.
“It is beautiful, thankyou Y/N.” He said looking at it. Your eyes perked up looking up to him smiling to himself. “Help me put it on.” He demanded  opening the knot and handing the two side of the necklace to you.
Turning so his back faced you, he crouched slightly. Your arms looped around his neck and carefully tied the necklace together, the shells making quiet clicking noises as they hit his skin.
“There you go.” You smiled up at him, was he really accepting your gift, this must be a dream. “I thought of you when looking at the shells, as they’re so beautiful.” Ao’nung felt like his cheeks were on fire. His heartbeat fast, you thought he was beautiful?
“I do agree, these shells are beautiful. But Y/N nothing could amount to your beauty.” He spoke softly. Inside your heart was ready to take off and burst through your ribs. This must all be fake. It had to be a dream
You blushed covering your face in embarrassment as Ao’nung chuckled at your reaction and grabbed your hands gently to reveal your huge smile. Oh, he could never get tired of that face.
Looking up at his smug face your body filled with courage as you hopped onto your tippy toes to leave a soft peck on Ao’nung cheek. Before he could react, you had run off in embarrassment ready to debrief everything to Tsireya.
“What a weirdo.” He chuckled to himself putting his finger on where your kiss had left tingles on his cheek and left his heartbeat fast as he touched the handpicked shells on his necklace

Secret Cove (Part 3)
Neteyam x Metkayina (oldest daughter of Tonowari, the chief)
Neteyam is 18
Contains: new character & secrets, Neteyam fluff, Neteyam jealousy
Tumblr media
I break the surface of the water with a fish flapping around in my net. The Sully children, all except Neteyam, study the way I hold it. Kiri frowns slightly, like she’s unhappy with the killing of the fish. I paddle up to the ledge where they all sit, their toes brushing against the waves.
“It’s our dinner Kiri.” I smile at her and pull myself out of the water. A few villagers whisper from a nearby pod, their eyes following my movement. Rumors about Tonowari’s eldest getting in trouble have spread rapidly. I act like I don’t see their stares.
“Yea, I know,” Kiri replies in annoyance. Tuk stares off into the horizon, lost in her own world. Lo’ak stares at Tsireya and she pretends not to notice. Everyone seems fine but lessons feel wrong without Neteyam here. Lo’ak had said their father took Neteyam out hunting with the other men. Aonung and Rotxo had looked at each other with shared jealousy. I hadn’t said anything but I know it’s more than just a hunting spree. Guess Jake and my father really do want us to stay apart.
“That’s it for today,” Aonung says. Kiri immediately jumps up and skips off, Tuk hurrying behind her. Lo’ak pats Aonung on the back before following after his sisters. I sigh. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to see Neteyam again. What if he doesn’t return to our lessons? Should I sneak out again? Risk being caught?
“Sister?” Aonung asks. Rotxo peers curiously at me from beside him. “What’s bothering you?”
“Nothing, I’m fine.” I smile at him, it hurts my face to do it but I do. I haven’t told him anything that happened. I just said that our parents freaked out over nothing. That he had nothing to worry about. That I’m fine. I know he didn’t fully believe me but he knew better than to push me.
Aonung shrugs before challenging Rotxo to a race. They dive in the water and disappear under the waves. I should return to my pod where my parents are expecting me. Eclipse is soon, and after the trouble I got in, I can’t risk being late. But my rebellious streak still burns through me. I keep hearing Neteyam’s voice in my head, We already broke two rules, what’s a few more?
I’m so lost in thought that I don’t realize someone’s walked up beside me until he speaks.
“Hey.” I whip my head to the side to find Issak standing beside me. He’s tall with light blue skin and a spear in his hand. His black hair curls around his temples. Issak and I were friends as children. Always swimming after each other and exploring. Our parents used to say that we were destined for eachother. Before everything happened. Before– no. I can’t think about that.
“Issak,” I say, surprise evident in my voice. “What is it?”
He laughs, the sound rumbles from within him. A familiar sound, one I’ve heard many times before. “I’m just saying hello. Can I not say hello?”
I don’t respond and he tilts his head at me. “How is training the forest kids?”
I roll my eyes and start walking towards my pod. That’s what he wants to talk about? A million memories flash through my mind, mostly of things I want to forget. His footsteps vibrate on the path behind me.
“Wait,” he says as he places a hand on my arm. “I didn’t mean that. I just want to see how you’re doing.”
“You care now?”
“I’m sorry, I’ve been busy and I… well I heard something about you.”  Dread curls in my stomach. I already know what he’s about to say. He keeps his hand on my arm. His four webbed fingers feel so different from Neteyam’s five soft ones.
 “Did you steal the special alcohol? The ones we use for celebration?”
The whole village really does know. I try not to groan. “No, I didn’t.” I move to push past him but he places his other hand on my shoulder, blocking me.
“I’m not judging. We did things we shouldn’t have back when…” he shrugs. “Anyway, can you grab some alcohol for me? Who knows when the Tulkun will be back and we can have a celebration.”
I freeze. Things we shouldn’t have. I can’t deal with Issak right now. I forcefully shove his hands off me. “I can’t and I wouldn’t,” I reply sharply.
He tries to grab me again. “Wait, that not why I wanted to–”
“Don’t touch me!”
Someone clears their throat behind me. Issak’s apologetic face turns into one of concern. Neytiri stands behind me, her eyes narrow on Issak. He gives her a curt nod before turning and leaving me.
Neytiri watches his retreating back with distaste, as if she can sense his energy, before stepping toward me. Did she seek me out? My mouth goes dry. “Is Neteyam okay?”
Surprise flashes through her eyes. “He is fine. Out with his father.”
Relief floods through me as Neytiri cocks her head to the side. “Are you alright?”
I nod. It’s an easy lie– I’ve been telling everyone that I’m okay. That I’m not bothered by the clan spreading rumors and talking about me. And now Issak; is he going to bring up the past? On top of it all, is the deep ache in my heart, my longing to be with Neteyam. Just to speak with him and see his playful smile. Neytiri studies me, her intelligent eyes looking right into me. I’m convinced she can see my every thought.
“I was looking for you,” she begins and drops her voice to a whisper. “Up on shore where the trees grow taller, three hours after eclipse. A good time for a ride.”
What? I’m about to ask her a question but she walks away immediately, disappearing into the village as my people get ready for dinnertime. I look at the sky, eclipse has already begun, sending orange rays of light across the ocean. Three hours after? A ride?
~~~
I feel stupid. I’ve walked further and higher than I ever have before; I went past the mangrove and palm trees until the ground began lifting up, towards the mountain. And there has been no sound other than my own footsteps. Maybe I misunderstood Neytiri. Maybe she was just sharing some random tidbit with me? I mean there is nothing up here to ride.
Not that I would know, my people never come up here, everything we need is in the ocean and on the shore. I’m starting to get cold, the night sky glistening above me as I stare at the unfamiliar treetops. The ground feels strange between my toes. That’s it, I misunderstood, and I’m going home.
I’m about to leave when the ground crunches behind me. I whip around, suddenly scared in this unknown territory. Neteyam stands in front of me and pushes a wooden woven headband onto his head.
“Neteyam,” I breathe, feeling the air rushes out of my lungs. He takes two steps towards me and I run at him, throwing my arms around his shoulders. He stumbles backwards at the force of my embrace but quickly recovers. His strong arms encircle me, warming my chilled skin. He buries his face in my neck and inhales.
All my worries and anxieties disappear, they vanish right from me, as they always do when I’m with him. Neither of us speak, we simply enjoy the other’s presence. After a few moments, we pull out of our embrace.
Neteyam grabs my hand. “I wasn’t sure she would do it.”
“Do what?”
“My mom. I implied that I didn’t want to be alone tonight but I wasn’t sure if she understood. Definitely wasn’t sure if she would tell you.”
I squeeze his hand. “She told me. Guess there’s one person who supports us.”
“She likes you.”
I hold back my surprise. Neytiri, badass warrior, likes me? I laugh in disbelief. “I think she just wants you to be happy.”
A playful smile grows on Neteyams lips and he nudges my side. “Oh, you think you make me happy, huh?”
“As a matter of fact,” I nudge him back, “I think I do.”
He laughs, his shoulders jiggle with the motion. It’s a sweet sound, almost addicting, like a perfect melody you just want to capture and listen to over and over. His whole face changes when he laughs, he seems so relaxed. I’m staring at him, I know I am. He notices and smiles at me, no playfulness— just a genuine smile.
“You make me very happy,” he whispers. I shrug and make a face that says, I knew it. He rolls his eyes and starts rubbing his fingers in small circles on my hand. “But, my mom does like you. She said you have a strong heart.”
I’ve never heard that expression. “What does it mean?”
“It means…” He leans towards me and kisses me cheek. His soft lips brush my skin as his scent fills my nose; saltwater and something muskier, like the wood of a forest. “You are brave.” He pulls away and moves to my other cheek. “And kind.” He kisses me again, causing heat to rise to my face. He inches his face up to my forehead. “And full of life.” His lips brush my forehead and I lean into him. I close my eyes as his arms wrap around me. He puts his head down so his forehead meets mine.
Our breath mixes together in front of us. I open my eyes to find him looking at me, drinking in every aspect of my face. “And beautiful. A beautiful soul.”
My breath catches in my throat. No one has ever said anything like that to me. I stare back into his eyes, feeling my heartbeat ferociously in my chest. I can’t believe how amazing he is. My mind goes quiet when I’m around him, like it’s finally at peace. A million words stumble through my mind but all I can say is, “That’s not me. That’s you.”
He shakes his head, his forehead rubbing against mine. “It’s us.”
I grin, my first real smile in awhile. Neteyam’s pupils widen as he looks at me. He pulls his forehead away and tugs my hand. “I want to show you something,” he says before tightening his grip on my hand running deeper into the mountainside.
We run for a little until we reach a cliff. Palm trees cover the side of it but in the center, is an ikran. I gasp at the sight of it. It’s colorful wings, a strong neck, and beady eyes. The ikran grasps the side of the cliff, its beak beckoning to Neteyam. The ocean glistens from below.
Neteyam watches me absorb this sight, his hand never leaving mine. After a moment he says, “I want you to meet someone.”
Neteyam walks up to the ikran and makes a sound. The ikran behinds their head, rubbing against Neteyam’s strong chest. He rubs the ikran’s head lovingly before motioning for me to join him. I walk slowly closer to him, nervousness spreading through my body. I’ve never been so close to an ikran before.
Neteyam grabs his hair and connects it to his ikran, making tsaheylu. The ikran’s eyes focus on me as they bend their head, inviting me to pet. I reach my hand out steadily and stroke Neteyam’s ikran. His ikran looks at me curiously as I continue to run my hand down his scales.
Neteyam smoothly jumps onto his ikran’s back, settling his foot into a grove on the side of his saddle. He sticks his hand out to me. “Come on.”
“No, no,” I say unsurely. “I’ve never flown.”
“It’s amazing. The view is…”
“You go, I’ll wait here.”
Neteyam looks at me, a smirk growing on his lips. “Are you scared, ocean girl?”
I stand up straight. “No, I’m not. I just prefer not to be way up in the sky.”
He laughs and shakes his outreached hand. “Come with me. I won’t let anything happen to you.”
I swallow, doubts swarming in my mind. What if someone saw us? Neteyam’s hand glows in the dark, that gorgeous blue. Screw it. I take his hand and he pulls me up onto his ikran with a triumphant gleam in his eyes. I settle in behind him, my legs straddling his hips.
“Not too high, forest boy,” I begin as Neteyam shoots his ikran straight up into the air. A scream hurdles out of my mouth as I throw my arms around his waist and hold on as tightly as possible. The wind whips against my face, causing my eyes to water. My heart beats wildly. We are flying completely straight up. “Neteyam!” I yell in his ear.
I think he’s laughing but I can’t hear him over the roar of the wind. His shoulders shake rhythmically, as if he’s really enjoying this. I squeeze my eyes shut. I shouldn’t have agreed to this. His ikran goes flat. It happens in an instant, one moment we are skyrocketing upwards and now we are smoothly flying in a straight line.
Neteyam pats my thigh. “You can open your eyes,” he says softly.
I open them slowly and observe the view. The ocean looks like a dark blanket from up here. I can see the surf like white glaze across the sand. Our village looks so small. The night sky seems so close and the glow from it seems to radiate into my soul. I breathe deeply, feeling the beauty and magic of Pandora.
Then I notice Neteyam staring at me. I take my hand off his waist and smack him in the arm. “You skxawng!” I yell. “You could’ve killed me!”
“You wouldn’t have died… maybe just fallen in mid-air for a little…”
I smack again causing him to laugh. “I said not too high!”
“But then you wouldn’t see this,” he replies and motions to the beautiful view beneath us. “Besides, I would’ve caught you.”
“Mhm,” I mumble as I lean my head forward and relax it on his shoulder. He continues to fly his ikran. We circle high above the village, over the cliffs, and past the reefs. His body warms mine against the wind as I absorb the feelings of flying. It feels like true freedom. I’m glad he showed me this.
“Hey,” I whisper to him. He turns his head over his shoulder and looks at me. “When the Tulkun come, I want to introduce you to my spirit sister.”
His lips break apart into a wide smile. “I’d like that.” He places a kiss on my forehead. I wrap my arms tighter around him, enjoying the feeling of my body pressed against his. He places his hand on my leg, his fingers wrapping around my thigh. I wish I could stay just like this forever.
~~~
I sit on my ilu, absorbing the daylight as the ocean water skims my legs. The Sully kids, my siblings, and me, all sit on our ilu’s in a circle. Our lessons had begun early today but I didn’t mind. Neteyam is here. I had a feeling Neytiri said something to Jake about letting him come. I owe her so many thanks.
He’s right next to me, his skin reflecting the light from the water. I try not to stare. We’ve been keeping us a secret, especially from our families. But it’s hard. I find myself always gravitating towards him. He always looks at me from the corner of his eye. Or he’ll playfully try and grab my tail when no one is looking. Except, Lo’ak and Tsireya saw him this morning and they shared a knowing look.
“What should we do next?” Aonung asks the group as we float on the surface of the water, the village behind us.
“Let’s keep diving!’ Tuk cries from her ilu next to Kiri.
“Argh, not again Tuk,” Lo’ak says and rolls his eyes.
“You never want to do what I wanna do,” Tuk pouts.
“You always want to do lame things. That’s why you always follow us around.”
“No I don’t!” Tuk says angrily.
“Lo’ak,” Neteyam’s stern voice comes out. “Don’t start.”
Lo’ak grumbles something under his breath as the others begin talking about other things to do. I giggle softly. Neteyam’s voice is so much deeper when he is trying to be stern. He looks over at me, hearing my laugh. He narrows his eyes at me like he knows what I’m laughing about.
His ilu swims into mine causing me to jerk forward. I gasp and look up at him. He shrugs with a look on his face that says, I didn’t do it. I accusingly shake my head at him before telling my ilu to swim into his. Just before our animals connect, he dodges away.
“Too slow, ocean girl,” he says confidently, an arrogant grin sneaking onto his face.
Oh he’s gonna eat his words. I’m just about to tell my ilu to swim right into his when an all too familiar voice speaks.
“Hello.”
My stomach drops. I turn around to see Issak swimming right up to us. Aonung and Tsireya wave at him. If only they knew…
Kiri and Tuk watch him curiously as he joins our circle in the waves. Lo’ak and Neteyam both assess him, trying to figure him out. Issak greets my siblings before turning his gaze to me.
“Can I speak to you?”
“I’m busy.”
He smiles at me, his charmer smile. “It will only be a moment.” Neteyam’s gaze sharpens at Issak’s expression.
I nod. I can’t turn him down without getting questions from my siblings. Issak motions with his head for me to follow and turns from the group. Neteyam watches me, his eyes guarded. “I’ll be right back,” I say.
As I swim out of the circle, Lo’ak’s voice floats after me, “Yo, he looks badass. Better watch out, bro.”
“Shut up,” Neteyam responds, an edge in voice.
I shake my head. Issak is far from badass. He waits for me a little ways from the group, his head bowed down as he pats his ilu. Every nerve in my body is telling me to turn around. Issak is a reminder of too many things. Things I don’t want to remember. He looks up as I reach him, his blue eyes twinkling dangerously.
“Two visits in one day,” I say flatly.
“You’re a lucky girl,” he smirks.
I roll my eyes and look back at the group. Neteyam is watching us. I can see the tension in his shoulders from here. He asks Aonung a question. Aonung turns and looks at Issak before beginning to respond to Neteyam. Great, who knows what he’s telling him.
“Got a thing for the tree lover?”
I snap my gaze back to Issak, anger brewing in my gut. “What do you want?”
Issak sighs and looks at the sky. I bite my tongue to keep from saying something rude. I look back at the group, Aonung is still talking to Neteyam. Lo’ak inches closer to them, straining to hear their conversation. Tsireya watches me worriedly. Neteyam’s eyebrows clench together and his eyes never leave me.
“I don’t have all day,” I snap at Issak.
“I miss you.”
My jaw drops open. Issak reaches his hand out and puts it on my shoulder. I’m completely frozen. I can’t believe the nerve of him. He starts to rub my shoulder, his webbed fingers feeling foreign on my skin.
He swims closer to me on his ilu so his face is right next to mine. I don’t move. Too many thoughts swirl through my head. He leans forward and says, “There’s things I want to talk to you about. About the Sully’s and the sky people. They—”
“Hey,” a stern voice says. My head snaps up at the familiar sound. Neteyam. He straddles his ilu, leaning forward slightly with a certain sharpness to his features as he stares at Issak’s hand on me. “What’s going on?”
Oh, no. I shove Issak’s hand off. “Nothing we were–”
“Just chatting about the past,” Issak cuts me off with a smirk. He slowly places his hand back in his lap. “Our history.” He looks at me and winks before saying, “I’ll see you around.”
He leaves, dipping beneath the surface of the water, before I get a chance to respond. Lo’ak and Aonung watch from a distance, surprise coating their faces. Neteyam swims in front of me, his ilu greets mine. He raises a faint eyebrow at me. “So, who’s that?”
“No one,” I reply, not wanting to talk about Issak.
Neteyam looks at the empty space where Issak had sat. He turns his head towards me, his golden eyes a darker shade than usual. “I don’t like him.”
I laugh. The sound escapes my lips before I have a chance to stop it. Neteyam’s eyebrows turn downwards. “I’m serious. He has bad energy, ocean girl.”
“Jealous?”
Neteyam scoffs before glancing at me shyly. “No.”
I nudge his shoulder. “Mhm, so if I went to see him–”
“No.” Neyetam closes his eyes like he cannot fathom the thought.
“You are jealous!”
“I’m not! I just looked over and saw his hand on you and…” He trails off, a small blush creeping onto his cheeks. I find his hand from beneath the waves and slip my fingers through his.
“And what?”
“And I wanted to rip his hand off.”
“Neteyam!”
He sighs and squeezes my hand. “You can do anything you want. I’m not jealous.” He stares at me, his golden eyes growing darker by the second. “But if he lays a hand on you again, I don’t care who I have to go through or what rules I break, I will make sure it’s the last thing he ever does.”
My mind goes blank. Neyetam’s gaze is so intense, I know he isn’t kidding. Something flutters in my stomach and spreads throughout my whole body.
I struggle to find my voice and my words come out in one breath, “Sounds intense.”
He leans into my ear and whispers, “You can’t even begin to imagine.”
I’m breathless as I stare into his darkening gaze. I’m not even sure what he means but his husky voice repeats over and over in my mind. I want to kiss him, reach out and grab his shoulders. But we’re right in front of the village, anyone could see us. As if he read my thoughts, he says, “Tonight. Same spot, same time.”
I immediately nod, causing a curly strand of hair to fall in front of my face. He reaches out slowly and twists the hair around his finger before tucking it gently behind my ear. I can’t help but smile softly at the gesture. His fingers slide across my skin longingly. He pulls away and smiles before swimming towards the village.
I watch his retreating back, how his dark blue skin glistens in the daylight. He’s so beautiful it makes my heart ache and makes my mind go blank. My stomach flutters at the thought of seeing him again, of flying above the ocean, and kissing him.
Later that night, we went flying. I sit on the back of his ikran and allow myself to get lost in the sky and in his arms. And after hours of flying, we settle into the sand and whisper to each other. We share kisses beneath the night sky. His body keeps me warm and protects me. I feel so safe with him. His shoulder relaxes and my favorite smile of his spreads across his face. It’s a lazy smile, his most relaxed expression.
He tells me things he’s never told anyone before and I do the same. Our noses touch as we laugh at each other and with each other. I feel like I could let all my walls down. And I almost do. Each time he gives me that smile. Or our lips collide. I want to tell him everything. Even what happened back with Issak. All the things we found out. But each time I open my mouth, ready to spill, nothing ever comes out.
Neteyam holds me on top of the sandy cliff as we lay on the ground, his ikran settling in beside us. Neteyam’s breathing begins to slow and his eyes drop shut. I watch his calm face, so serene in his sleep. Everything will be okay, I tell myself but each time I close my eyes– I see Issak’s face with a lethal look in his eyes.
Thank you for all the support!!
I tried some different things with this part so let me know what you think. I'm not sure how I feel about it

Jake Sully
Jake didn't mean to peep. He only meant to go on a walk, clearing his thoughts after the long aggravating day he had endured. A failed hunt had left him tired and sore with nothing to show for it. Ronal patched his cuts and wounds, and after thanking her he snuck away from his duties, just for a bit.
Jake groaned, smoothing his hair back as he lamented over the day. He was annoyed. A breaking branch stopped him in his tracks, ears flicking against his head. Nobody was really supposed to be out here right now.. and it was far enough away from the village. He dropped down and began to look for the source of the noise, hearing yet another and peeking his head into a clearing.
Instead of finding anything threatening, he found you. His eyes widened and his mouth fell open slightly. You, looking so pretty perched up on a cluster of rocks, head thrown back, clothing beside you. Your tail swayed slightly as the sun warmed you up, a smile on your face. Jake was taken aback, expecting anything but this.
He was especially taken aback by the way his cock throbbed at the sight of you. Pretty and strong thighs on full display, the absence of your tewng making his mouth water. Your pretty tits were on full display without your annoying (but beautiful) necklaces to cover them up , and it took everything in him not to let his mouth water.
He willed himself to stay calm as to remain undetected. You suddenly shifted, turning around and laying on your stomach, your ass directly towards him. Jake could almost imagine grabbing those thighs and running his tongue up your pussy. He bet that was pretty too.
"Fuck.. He sighed as he undid his own tewng, his length slapping against his stomach embarrassingly loudly. He hissed, looking up at you to see if you noticed. You hadn't, being so lost in your relaxation. Breathing a sigh of relief, he looked down at his aching cock and wrapped a hand around it. He needed a release after the day he had.
Neteyam
Neteyam called your name as he walked the far parts of the beach, a harpoon slung over his shoulder with leather straps. You hadn't shown up for your shared hunting lesson today and he thought he'd go looking at where you liked to be alone. Out on the beach as a no go, as he didn't see you, so he began to look around in confusion. Where the hell could you be? The harpoon hit the sand with a clunk as he dropped it in defeat. No hunting lesson today.
He picked a couple shells out of the sand and rinsed them in the water, trying to occupy his time before he had to head back and find something to do. What a shame, Neteyam was looking forward to the lesson. Just as the boy turned to head back he caught the sound of humming. The sound was quiet and sweet, and it was coming from behind a giant rock.
Setting the harpoon back down, he began to creep towards the rock, climbing atop it and peeking over. The sight shocked him and he gasped, quickly covering his mouth and ducking down. After a moment, peeking once again. There you were, his hunting teacher, about ten feet away.
Top laying on the sand already, you were busy untying your tewng so you could lay down, eyes half lidded as you hummed the tune that had brought him over in the first place. His eyes widened as he watched you turn, the last of your layers dropping and your ass entirely exposed to him. "Eywa, save me.." He choked, his tail swaying behind him and his own tewng becoming suddenly too tight.
You were beautiful.. Your whole body exposed in the sun and glistening from the water you must have been in recently. His breath was caught in his throat, eyes wide, snagging his bottom lip in his teeth gently. He shouldn't be seeing this.. face burning red, he began to back up and flushed harder at the sight of how obvious his boner was. No way could he look you in the eye now, not after this.
But he couldn't help but peek again.
Lo'ak
Lo'ak couldn't find you anywhere. Asking Neteyam or Kiri got him nowhere, and Tuk wasn't any help either. As he hurried around across the sand he held a basket of fruit under his arms. They were your favorite, and he'd gone out of his way to pick a few.
Your Marui was empty, you weren't in the village seemingly at all. The boys ears pricked with a sudden sense of nervousness. Were you alright? Where had you gone? Then he suddenly remembered one place you went to feed the animals. A secluded place that not many Na'vi went due to the amount of rocks.
Lo'ak made his way over, setting the basket down nearby and peeking over the rocks and leaves that blocked his view. He called your name out quietly. No response. He crept in farther, stepping carefully as to not step on any sharp rocks.
Then he saw you. Standing on top of a large smooth rock, you were dropping your Tewng next to you on the ground. Your plush tits were on full display as you stood in the sun, smiling and turning to grab something. He gasped as you bent over, your pussy in full view for a millisecond.
He ducked out of view, panting, eyes wide. He was hard, painfully hard. He didn't know if he should bring you your fruit or just, leave. He slowly peeked out again, watching you sit down and begin to warm up in the sun.
He didn't have to leave.. But oh, this was wrong. You were his best friend, he shouldn't do this. Yet, all the same, he slipped his hand into his clothing and began to palm his cock, your name slipping from his lips in a quiet whimper.
Aonung
Aonung knew something was extremely wrong with him.
He walked down the beaches, his tail swishing behind him as he scowled, obviously in deep thought. He wanted his mind on something else, anything else. The thoughts he was having consumed his everyday and he hated it.
Ever since the Sully's had come to their village everything had been messed up. He had to teach their demon children, let them live among them. All of them gravely pissed him off.
Especially you.
He couldn't get you off his mind. Ever since you came seeking uturu you plagued every waking thought of his. He thought of you when he ate, when he hunted, when he swam, right before he slept. Even now, you were all he could think about. He huffed and kicked at the sand, becoming startled at the figure he spotted in the distance.
His eyes widened when he realized who it was. It was you. The very person who had been running his brain for the past weeks. There you were, basking in the sun. Naked. Completely bare with the light shining on your skin. He ducked into a spot where he wouldn't be seen and, oh, Eywa.
Your body was completely on display for him to see. His tail swished in excitement as he eyes at your long torso, plush breasts, long beautiful legs. Your thighs..
He spotted your clothing beside you. With a start he realized your tewng was gone too. The very thought made him realize how stiff his cock had gotten. He bit his lip, groaning in embarrassment as the thoughts grew overwhelming in his head. Aonung watched as you shifted, turning over so he got a view of your ass and by Eywa he wished he could see even more of you.
His hand grazed the top of his hard on before he pulled his hand back. He couldn't.. he shouldn't. Especially not to a sully. But he wasn't thinking with his head, and instead took his cock in his hands and began to slowly stroke it, a groan leaving his throat. He could deal with his feelings of shame later.

𝐉𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐒𝐘 - ( 𝐩𝐭𝟐 ! )
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
characters -> kiri ! neteyam ! lo’ak ! tsireya ! ao’nung ! roxto !
synopsis -> how the na’vi girls / boys react to another metkayina member flirting with you !
warnings -> none !
layout ib -> the lovely @qvrcll !
Tumblr media
ଓ — kiri
kiri doesn’t really get jealous, she does however, get insecure. she starts noticing one of the metkayina members flirting with you and she instantly wonders if you’ll leave her for them or if you like them instead of her. it’s something she can’t help but panic about, needing reassurance from you.
ಇ — neteyam
he gets jealous, not super often though. today is different, it seems, as he can’t stop glaring daggers at the metkayina member that keeps trying to flirt with you. he stays silent for a decent amount of time, until it’s just him too much and he pulls you aside and away from them, snapping at you about his jealousy. this situation is followed up with an apology and neteyam feeling guilty.
ಇ — lo’ak
he’s the definition of jealously. anytime he sees one of the metkayina members flirting with you, he wants to punch them. this time, he wants to punch ao’nung. ao’nung is teaching you how to ride an ilu, but he’s also being very close and flirtatious with you. you pretend not to notice, feeling awkward and uncomfortable, glancing at lo’ak for help. now, this is what made him break. he immediately stomps towards you and ao’nung, gently grabbing your arm and taking you away from him, turning around quickly to send a warning glare to ao’nung.
ଓ — tsireya
she gets insecure more often than jealous. when she sees the metkayina member flirting with you, her immediate reaction is trying to stay positive and trying to keep it together. later, when the two of you are just sitting on the beach and talking, she brings the situation up. tsireya likes talking about her feelings, so you just listen and comfort her as she rants about how it made her feel. after that, you always remind her that you love her and no one else.
ಇ — ao’nung
oh lord, don’t even go near ao’nung when he’s jealous. he gets so possessive sometimes, constantly arguing with anyone who even tries to make a move on you. this time is even worse as lo’ak is the one flirting with you. you pray for lo’ak as ao’nung walks over to him, staring him down and ready to punch him. before he can do anything, you scoff and grab him by his arm, taking him away from lo’ak.
ಇ — roxto
he doesn’t really get jealous, but when he does, he tells you. you and roxto have a very strong relationship with lots of communication, so when he sees another metkayina member flirting with you, he immediately pulls you aside and you have a open and honest conversation.

Hello there!! I hope you're doing great it's my first time ever requesting something so I'm kinda nervous writing this but can I request a Ao'nung x reader where they are dating but Ao'nung is ashamed of reader because she is a sully so when they are around his friend he kinda pushed her away until they're gone
Sorry if it's kinda weird hehe
Ashamed
pairings: aonung x sully!reader
warnings: kinda toxic aonung
summary: you figure out why he wanted your relationship a secret
a/n: hello! i hope you enjoy and i hope this is what you meant by the ask :) also it’s definitely not weird at all!!
Tumblr media
You have been dating Aonung for two weeks but not the way you want to, Aonung insisted that you two should keep your relationship on the down low- meaning not to tell anyone.
Him doing that made you very upset, especially heartbroken. You wanted to be able to hold hands with him freely, hang out just the two of you.
You hated meeting in secret and only being able to see him mainly at night because the two of you were most likely busy during the day or he would just push you away until all your friends left.
You didn’t notice it at first when it started- when he wouldn’t talk to you when you were all around friends, when he would ignore you when you would speak to him but you just brushed it off thinking he didn’t hear you.
You didn’t know about him picking on Kiri, and you especially didn’t know about the fight between him and your brothers.
Your siblings all talked about how much they disliked him but you didn’t think much of it because he didn’t act that way when you were around and even when you two would talk he would never bring them up.
You just wanted to be able to express your love to him without it being kept a secret, it soon began to feel like he was ashamed.
Could it have been because you were not like him? Because you had five fingers and not four? He never said anything about it so you never really bothered to ask.
You had spoken to Aonung about telling everyone you were together and all he said was the same thing over and over, “ Soon we will tell everyone we are together, just have patience. "
You internally rolled your eyes when he said that- beginning to grow angrier and angrier as the days went by.
You couldn’t handle it anymore, and today was the day that really sent you off.
You and Tsireya, Roxto, Aonung, and a few other of their friends were all in the water laughing and making jokes.
You looked at Aonung a smile on your face which he didn’t return and quickly looked away, making you frown.
You hated it.
He ignored you the entire day, acting like you didn’t even exist. But then you started to notice the snarky comments he was sending your siblings.
Eventually the day came to an end and everyone was gone- except for Aonung, the two of you sat together in the sand.
“ What was that today? " You questioned, looking straight at him and the anger was evident in your voice.
“ What are you talking about? " He asked, a hint of confusion in his voice.
You rolled your eyes at his words, “ You were clearly ignoring me today, I mean I know you wanna keep us a secret but you can still talk to me. "
Aonung sighed and turned his head away from you, “ I wasn’t ignoring you. "
“ Did I do something wrong? Is it because you’re ashamed? Is that why you want to keep us a secret? " I asked, tears beginning to cloud my vision but I pushed them away.
“ No! Why would I be ashamed? " He questioned, but little did he know Neteyam told me about what he said about Kiri and Loak.
“ I’ve been told what you did, you made fun of my brother for having five fingers and not four, but I have five fingers as well- you called him a freak so that means I’m a freak. "
“ I- I didn’t mean it like that, you’re not a freak and I’m not ashamed. " Aonung whispered, why was he acting like this? Why couldn’t he just say the truth?
“ Admit it. You’re ashamed and you’re embarrassed. You don’t wanna be seen with me- a sully, or what you call us, a freak. " I spoke, my voice raising as I stood up.
“ Fine! You want me to admit it? Fine! I was embarrassed. And yes, I have said things about your family, I will admit but I have never said a bad thing about you. " Aonung spoke, getting up as well, looking down at me.
 That doesn’t matter Aonung, they are my family. It doesn’t matter that you’re not talking about me because everything you’ve said applies to me. " I spoke, he was about to say something but I cut him off.
“ It all makes sense now, wanting this relationship to be a secret, us meeting in secret. " I yelled, doing a finger motion between us,
“ This relationship is over until you have some courage to tell others about me and not be embarrassed, you know this really shows how much you care about me. "
“ Y/n, I love you. " Aonung cried, “ I never meant to hurt you, I was just not thinking- you changed me, I never should’ve acted that way with your family, none of you are freaks and I’m sorry for keeping us a secret, I was just scared. "
“ I think we should take a break from eachother, I think that’s what’s for the best. " I spoke, a tear rolling down my cheek. Aonung began to cry and I felt my heart break as he dropped onto his knees.
***
Days passed since I broke up with Aonung and I haven’t really seen him around.
I sat on the ground with Tuk as we made some bracelets inside of our marui. The loud chatter of my siblings voices were heard outside of the marui slowly getting closer and closer.
“ You will never guess what happened today Y/n, it’s insane! " Loak yelled, my head immediately shooting up at him.
I tilted my head to the side and made a motion for him to continue, “ Aonung apologized for being a skxawng and calling us freaks, he said he wanted to be friends with us. "
My eyes widened, “ Really? That’s so surprising, I wonder why he did that." I spoke, making my siblings nod their heads at my words.
I knew I had to go speak to him, “ Kiri, could you continue to make bracelets with Tuk? I have to go do something really fast. " I asked, Kiri nodded her head and I immediately ran to search for him.
I looked everywhere for him and nothing. I sighed as I walked towards where I broke up with him and my ears perked up when I saw him sitting there by himself.
As I got closer he must’ve noticed my presence because he turned his head towards me, his eyes shocked.
“ What are you doing here? " He mumbled, I slightly smiled and sat down next to him.
“ I’ve come to see you, Loak told me what you did, how you apologized to them- it means a lot that you are fixing your mistakes for me. "
“ I told you that I love you and that means I’ll doing anything for you, that means if you are willing to get back with me we can tell everyone that we are together and that you will be soon be my mate. " Aonung spoke, hope in his eyes and he looked at me.
I paused for a moment, debating my decision. I love Aonung. A smile appeared on my face as I slowly leaned in and kissed him.
I pulled away and a grin appeared on his face, “ I would like that a lot. " I spoke.
When my siblings found out we were dating they were extremely shocked but then all agreed that it was suspicious that he just apologized to them out of the blue.
Aonung began to work on his relationship with you family and he regretted being so mean because he soon became extremely close to each of your family members.
He even became closest to Loak which was a huge suprise because he told you that they were the main two that did not get along.
Everything was different now and you two no longer had to sneak away in secret, Aonung was no longer ashamed and embarrassed and even his parents began to grow a liking to the Sullys.

┕━»•» 🌺 «•«━━━━━┙
The arrival of the Sullys helped to create an excellent excuse for you to avoid Ronal for the rest of the day. While you walked around to help the older group of long-lost children move into a pod, you felt your heart soar as they cracked jokes and pointed fun at one another, much like they used to do when you were teenagers.
There was only one pod left unoccupied for use in the tribe, so they all begrudgingly, with many eye rolls and insults muttered in English, moved all of their supplies from their ikran to the thatched home.
As Aonung, Tsireya, and yourself helped transport their belongings to their new headquarters, you learned that after they left your clan, their parents had dragged them all over Pandora on hundreds of adventures. Still, now that they were adults, they had gotten a lot more responsibility, and Jake permitted them to come and visit their old childhood friends for a few weeks.
"So, what are you guys planning on doing here?" You asked as you set a rug on the floor with a thump and stood to the side to wait until everyone was ready to set back off to get more items.
They were welcomed to the clan with open arms by Tsireya upon arrival. Because the family had played a large part in saving her in the fight of three brothers years ago, neither the chief nor the Tsahik could find any reason to deny them a place to stay. This was a simple payment to an outstanding debt owed to them for the Sully's bravery those years ago.
"Relaxing, we are here to do nothing", Lo'ak quickly interjected before either of his siblings could speak, as if his words would magically cure the chaos that followed the family.
Neteyam chuckled as he folded a stack of blankets in the corner.
The sound made your stomach heat up, and you scorned yourself for it. Your mate of not even a day was standing to your right helping you move in your mutual friend to his accommodation, yet you were standing around getting flustered at the sound of Neteyam's laugh.
"Bro, don't even lie, the whole ride here, you were talking about Tsireya", Neteyam teased his brother while Lo'ak jumped over to him and smacked him over the head, which only made Neteyam laugh more.
Tsireya ducked her head into her hand as she busied herself with sorting through a satchel that was filled with cooking utensils. Even as she hid her face, you could still see her blushing with a girlish grin overtaking her lips.
"Oh yeah? Should I tell everyone who you were talking about on the way here?" Lo'ak shot back as he tried to run back to his spot, but Neteyam growled at him and yanked him back to punch his youngest brother in the face with an open palm, causing a shove from Lo'ak.
It was your turn to be bashful as you quickly turned around to gaze out at the ocean that could be seen through the door, purposefully ignoring Aonung's hateful glare that went from you over to Neteyam.
"You two need to learn manners", Kiri yelled out as she kicked out a mat that rolled open onto the floor of the pod in a beautiful display of brown and green colors.
"It's good to see you two haven't changed", Tsireya spoke up while she walked over to join you and Aonung by the door, giving you a playful shove to show that she was aware of who Neteyam had been talking about as if it was a big secret that nobody had worked out.
"Yeah, apart from the fact Neteyam is now as tall as dad and Lo'ak is officially the big mighty warrior, son of Toruk Makto!" Kiri teased them both as she shook her hands around to give a dramatic rendition of being frightened while her voice wavered theatrically.
Tsireya and Kiri both laughed, and Lo'ak and Neteyam responded to their playful energy, but you couldn't help the fact it felt like you had chugged an entire bottle of oil.
Every move Neteyam took was blasting in your mind. When you turned back around to watch them interact, you desperately tried to pull your eyes away from the boy and watch anyone else. Still, his fidgeting movements made every muscle tense, and it seemed to stick itself into you so profoundly that you wanted to bang your head on a wall until the picture of him was out.
You turned to Aonung. He was already looking at you with an irritated scowl on his face. He was your mate, and he felt that you were clearly trying to avoid telling Neteyam off for thinking about you, and it was starting to cause some serious jealousy issues.
When Neteyam had been with the clan the first time, Aonung watched on with great envy as you two grew closer and closer. He was sure that he had lost any chance with you thanks to the boy's incredible advances on you, but then he left.
After the battle, his family tried to make right with the clan and ultimately left once they realised the war wasn't over and they would be endangering everyone around them if they didn't hide again. It had broken you to watch Neteyam leave, and it had broken Tsireya to watch Lo'ak leave. Aonung would like to think the circumstances of the two relationships were different, but some of him knew you and Neteyam had unfinished history.
"Let's go get the last load", you yelled over the friendly bickering, trying not to let your face betray the shame you felt as you broke eye contact with Aonung.
The group all silently heeded your words and continued the conversation about what Tuk was getting up to these days as you and Aonung headed the group back to the ikrans for a final time.
You could feel Aonung's eyes on you the entire time before you finally gave in and rolled your eyes, trying to diffuse the apparent tension between you two.
"I know that look your giving Neteyam and me, we are only friends Aonung, you and I are mated, there is nothing to worry about", you gave a teasing bump of your shoulders together as you tried to convenience yourself of the same thing.
Neteyam was very handsome, and you were simply appreciating his beauty. The mated bond was meant to make feelings about the slightly older boy impossible, and in truth, you felt nothing but slight amazement that he had looked after himself so well, even while on the run from sky people.
"I do not like the way he looks at you", Aonung mumbled back as he felt the envious part of his personality, thought long gone, return to him.
You shook your head and took his hand in your own, giving it a squeeze of reassurance, and a smile fell on his face as he leaned over and gave you a peek on the cheek which made your entire body shiver with pleasure.
"Woah, woah, woah! When did that happen?" Lo'ak cried out behind you as the others looked down at your conjoined hands.
You spoke over your shoulder with a polite smile on your face as you felt Neteyam's eyes zone in on your hands and then on your face.
"Aonung and I were mated yesterday", you felt the words come out of your mouth, but your attention was focused entirely on trying not to cross Neteyam's look that you knew was either going to be surprised like the others or slightly heartbroken.
"You should have seen mother's face when she caught them this morning, they're lucky you got here when you did, she was about to rip into Aonung", Tsireya seemed to have found her place with the group quickly and was having the time of her life, she had never looked so happy and you knew it was because of Lo'ak's figure standing next to her.
Aonung didn't seem happy to let his sister punch down on him and scowled at her over his shoulder to let her know she would be paying for that comment later. Usually, it was him that was making fun of his sister but it seemed the new bitterness that the arrival of Neteyam had caused was clouding his mind and you felt yourself internally sigh as you caught a glimpse of the teenager Aonung used to be.
You all managed to get to the ikran in one piece and picked up everything that was left.
"Lo'ak, take them to the other side of the island", Neteyam ordered his brother to guide the flying creatures away as he picked up two large duffel bags you knew one of which traced back to their mother.
Lo'ak rolled his eyes but then a mischievous grin emerged on his face as he looked over to Tsierya.
"Wanna come? You can fly with me", Lo'ak's flirtatious advances probably wouldn't be stopped by a bullet and it made you laugh as you watched your female friend nervously nod and turn to give Kiri the two bags she was holding.
"Lo'ak..." Neteyam warned as his brother hopped onto the ikran's back and held out his hand for Tsireya to take which she did with a thrilled giggle.
"Don't worry we'll be back", Lo'ak called out as he took off before anyone could tell him it was a bad idea for the troublemaker to run off with the daughter of the chief so quickly after arriving and so soon after their son had already had a run in for an unmentioned mating.
The beast tore up into air with a cry as it roared down toward the other two ikran that gave each other a look with their beady eyes and then to their owners that gave no reaction, seemingly able to read their silent pleas the two other winged beings took towards the sky and followed Lo'ak and Tsireya.
"You have more control over them than ever", you marvelled at the magnificent creatures as they cast shadows over you with their wingspan.
"I don't think you're talking about my brother", Neteyam muttered as he walked over to Kiri and took the bags Tsireya had given her, and threw them over his shoulders, loading himself to the max.
You watched the braided pieces behind each ear clack as they were thrown against each other when he threw his hair over his shoulder in an attempt to get a better view.
Kiri woefully protested, but when her brother shook his head, she was more than happy to lead the four of you back to the home base, with Aonung choosing to stick by your side with an intense protective aura crowning him.
You all set off for the pod and quickly set everything down. Unbeknownst to you, you were about to pick up a hefty box to move it further into the room when Neteyam cut you off and ripped the package from your barely managed grip.
"No, no, It's okay, I've got it, don't worry your little head, pretty girl", he had clearly said it in a tease, a comedic statement on the fact that it was something Aonung called you when you were both younger but Aonung didn't seem to pick up on that.
"Don't call her that", Aonung growled from behind you. His body came closer to yours, and he let a defensive hand fall on your waist to reiterate that you were not available.
Neteyam's eyes rose in disbelief at Aonung's attitude, and his mouth opened and closed a few times in complete incredulity about what to say before his eyes fell on you.
"The bond is still fresh, just give him a while, and he'll be alright", you felt incredibly embarrassed but it wasn't because Aonung had done anything wrong. It was because you couldn't deny that Aonung's hand on your waist in such a secure hold as he growled with possessiveness was making your body react in ways it shouldn't have in front of your friends.
Neteyam nodded and held up his hands as if in mock surrender before he turned around and continued unpacking, trying to ignore the rigid turn the atmosphere had taken.
You turned to look at Aonung with a 'what was that' look, but in reply, he stared into your eyes with a stare that could only be called brutal. He didn't seem angry at you, but the hand on you clenched in a last silent order that you two needed to talk before he turned around and walked off without another word.
In silent contemplation, you sighed and reached to scratch the back of your head. Now that his body wasn't so close it was making your stomach do somersaults, you could finally have an original thought.
What was he doing? Neteyam had always delighted in teasing Aonung, and now that it was clear you were together, he simply just had better ammunition to get under Aonung's skin, but it seemed he was going a bit too deep.
"Trouble in paradise?" Kiri called as she finished with a bag of threads and walked over to comfort you.
"His mother doesn't approve, and I think it's really set him off", you explained as you gazed after him, watching him stalk off with his back turned until he disappeared.
"Ronal has always been defensive of her kids, give her some time to get used to it", Kiri offered you a side hug and rubbed your shoulder kindly.
You nodded and turned to continue to help unpack, talking as you did.
"I'm not so sure, I think she's made her mind up and wants me out of the picture", you handed Kiri an ornament you didn't quite know the use of, and she took it out of your hands with a shrug to set it up.
"Listen, I think it's best if you go talk to him, we can handle this", Kiri could tell that the issue was clearly bothering you, and she had no patience for dramatics, so the sooner you left and consoled your mate, the sooner she could start her few weeks of relaxing with you.
You nodded and turned to leave, but as you did, you brushed shoulders with Neteyam, and he stopped you with a hand on your shoulder.
"Hey, can I talk to you tonight?" He asked, his voice trying to remain friendly, but you could tell he was aching to talk to you like he did when you two were alone, and you nodded with a smile.
It had been years since you caught up and just talked about life, and you were eager to have that time with him again.
"Of course, can you still get to the rock, or is the great Neteyam too old for such folly?" You smiled politely at him and let your hand stab at his side, making him hiss.
"I'll be there well before you will be slow bones", he poked your shoulder with a nod before turning around and resuming the task at hand.
You waved goodbye and told Kiri you would speak to her more tomorrow before you set off for your pod, where you had a strange feeling Aonung was waiting for you.
--
You ripped open the flap, and sure enough, there your mate was, awkwardly trying to make use of himself by slicing some vegetables you had collected the week before on a board with a knife.
His ears downturned as soon as you entered the room, but he didn't look up. Instead, he placed the food he had already cut into a pot, returned to the board and kept up his work.
"I'm going to talk to Neteyam tonight, and you are going to apologize to him tomorrow", you felt angry that he didn't even bother to look up when he entered, so you quickly explained what would be happening.
He looked up, and his eyes peered at you before he placed the knife down and leaned back into a sitting posture with his knees tucked into his arms.
"Why should I apologize to that skxawng?" He muttered, holding your gaze for several seconds before you gave in and looked away.
"Because he is our friend Aonung, he supports us both, and you were rude to him! He doesn't have a mate yet, he doesn't understand what the bond does to you, and you've been more cruel than usual", you tried to lose the angered tone and moved forward to touch him, but he quickly stood up and moved to the other side of the room, towards the door.
"Oh yeah? Even though he just couldn't stop talking about you on the way here?" He growled as he sat down, trying to figure out what to do with himself.
It was clear he was jealous, and you two had put your very new bond under a lot of stress today, so it made sense that he was getting so worked up.
"I know, but that was only endearingly, you know how Lo'ak and Neteyam tease each other", you crouched down to your floor and approached him slowly as if he were an animal.
Aonung only watched you move toward him, choosing not to say anything.
You came just close enough that your fingers grazed over his knee, and the pressure of your skin being pressed against his made his mind reel in emotions of bliss and love.
You smiled as you saw his shoulders lower and release the tension they had been holding, he truly wasn't himself today, and neither were you. After a few days, your union would acclimate to your bodies, and you would fall back into a regular rhythm, but your bodies hormones only wanted to fit into one another.
Even the feeling of the slightest touch got both of your pupils blown out of proportion and your hearts aching for more.
Your fingers danced on his knee for a second before you moved the hand to rub his thigh gently, which he grunted out in appreciation for, letting his head hang back and crash into the side of your pod, which made you smile.
You felt the anger in you both melt and evaporate as you tutted and moved closer so you could inspect his thigh, causing his leg to twitch and his breath to stop.
You pushed his leg back and looked over the marking, it was slightly more tender than yesterday, and it showed his head had been more concerned about everything else than his own body that needed to be cared for.
You leaned down and pressed a kiss above the tattoo, taking a long time to bathe in the pathetic whimper Aonung let out as your lips touched so close to the area where he was starting to need you on.
"Seriously? You can't even go one day without me?" You chuckled, letting your hot breath tickle him.
He pushed his hands onto the ground and desperately tried to push himself up in a worthless attempt to try and regain some of his motor functions, he didn't want to do this right now with the chance of his mother tracking him down again, playing in his mind, but you looked so perfect.
"No, I'm fine!" He shook his head as if that would stop any of the blood that was rushing with full force to his cock.
You nodded with faux conviction and pulled back, letting the absence of your touch twist his brain inside out.
You gazed over him as you sat on the backs of your heels. How he looked at your body made you feel so beautiful and desirable that you wanted to reward him to ensure that he would always look at you like this.
"You don't look fine to me, pretty boy, that tattoo looks like it hurts", his face scrunched up at your words, and he went to stand up, but you leaped forward and pressed your hand against his pecs, loving the way his heart was racing underneath your hand.
"Let me kiss it better, if that's what you want?" You pushed him back to his previous position and unraveled from him, letting his need for you power his thoughts.
He wanted to shake his head and tell you he was okay because he was sick and tired of being the one begging for you, but his body overtook him, and a solemn nod shook his head up and down.
"Alright, but you have to be good to me, okay?" Your hands reached out and spread his legs apart so you could bunny-hop yourself in between his legs.
He could only watch as his entire body shook and trembled with the incurable need to feel your touch again swarmed his previous thoughts and feelings.
He shook his head violently up and down as you lowered your head to gently brush your lips over the inner part of his fibrous thighs that could have easily crushed your head if he closed them around you and squeezed.
You tried to move around freely but couldn't manage it with your hair in the way, so you sat up again and bundled your hair up before lowering yourself to above his crotch, which made his entire body tense.
"Hold this for me, baby?" You asked as you handed off your hair to him.
You took a second to delight in how he pulled your ponytail far above you so that you could see everything before you set off to kiss around the tattoo again.
Every kiss you planted made soft groans echo out of his mouth and bounce around the pod, making your stomach flutter. When you finished kissing and pulled back you didn't get very far before his thighs tightened around your shoulders and stopped you from moving any further.
You could feel everything around you freeze as your nose barely brushed against his loincloth that had a tent pitched beneath it.
"Aonung...let me go", you ordered, feeling slight irritation that he had stopped your flow of movements so suddenly.
You looked up and felt like the most blessed woman in the universe when you could only see his eyes looking over the pecs that blocked your view while his hair was once again out in small tufts as it did when he became sexually flustered.
"Let me fill your mouth up, pretty girl", the last time you two fucked, it seemed that when he got more aroused, the roles switched from his dominant side to his sweet submissive side, but now he had utterly polar opposites, the more his dick grew, the more demanding his body was.
"What makes you think I'll let you do that?" You dared to challenge his taking charge of the sexual encounter, which only turned him on more as his dick now stabbed your jaw with a twitch.
"Because if you do, I'll let you sit on my face", his words brightened up his face and you couldn't deny the butterflies that filled your chest as his words took your breath away.
"Yeah, you like that idea, huh?", He didn't waste any time reaching his hand to his hip and detaching the cloth he was wearing to pull it away from him.
You continued to stare into his eyes as his dick flew up from its confines and gently hit you in the cheek. You could feel your body salivating in more than one place as his words and actions sunk in.
He pulled you up by the hair that he was still holding and lined your mouth up with his crotch before he lost his grip and let you move at your own pace.
You hadn't even agreed to his terms, but his vocabulary alone had caused such a spark of need to feel his cum anywhere in your body that you obeyed.
Your lips suctioned around his tip and slowly slid down about two inches past the end so that you could tease the boy.
His hand in your hair tightened, and the burn of the strands pulling against your scalp furthered your eagerness as you sunk deeper into him. You paused for a second and moved up, but before you could remove your lips, his hips bucked into your mouth and caused you to gag and let out a burning cough at the feeling of his brute force digging into the back of your throat.
"M'sorry", was all he could mumble out, but you still decided to punish him, even if he hadn't done it on purpose.
You pulled off him entirely, and his eyes instantly opened, searching your face to make sure you weren't hurt, but your brow was creased, and you placed your hands on either side of his base to push down on his pelvis and hold him down.
"Do that again, and I'll make you do this yourself", your voice was stern, but Aonung's mind was clouded in lust, and all he could force his body to do was nod as his dick cried out for your hands to move upwards to his shaft.
"Words", you demanded, and you could feel his legs squirm behind you as his lust started to push past any boundaries he had.
"Yes", he could only reply in single words that satisfied you enough that you leaned backward. For a second, he thought it hadn't been enough, and he went to pull you back in by your hair, but you hovered over his stiff cock with your lips closed.
He waited to see what you were doing, and you didn't keep him waiting for very long as you gathered up a ball of spit in your mouth and slowly let the ball dribble from your mouth onto his dick, acting as a lubricant.
He was doing everything he could not to desperately start humping the air as you pulled back your lips and uncovered your tongue. You moved to the base of his cock and licked upwards, gathering the clear liquid you had spat on him and then letting your tongue flick a few times over his slit, which made a delicious moan escape him.
Precum began leaking from him, soaking over your tongue and letting the bitter taste soak into your taste buds.
You paused above his tip when you had cleaned as much of his precum and your spit off of him as you could, and then you lowered yourself against him once more.
He let out a chain of moans that warmed your chest, making you want to give him more pleasure, so you pushed down, as far as you could manage, which was a few inches above his base, and then you moved upwards, the aching pace was killing Aonung, and you could tell.
You moved up and down faster now that your throat started to burn less, and it was the most fantastic thing ever.
The mere fact that you were giving him pleasure was doing terrible things to your pussy, and even though it was begging for friction, the feeling of Aonung jerking himself into your mouth was much more commanding.
You worked his dick for a few seconds, and you could tell the pace you were going was killing him, so you pulled back off him and quickly started speaking before he began to beg you to go back down.
"You want to fuck my face all by yourself like a big boy?" Your words had him hypnotized, and it took him a second to fight against his dick that was edging closer to release.
"Yeah", his voice was innocent and entirely overwhelmed by your words, making you grin while a devilish thought played in your mind.
"Yeah, who?" You asked as your tongue fell out of your head and dared to draw a circle around the edge of his tip, which made him cry out.
"Yes, ma'am", he finally got out the angelic words you ached to hear from him, and you nodded for him to continue on his own with a smile as you retracted your hands from around him.
Immediately he brushed your hair over your shoulder so he could let one hand grab the back of your head while the other helped push your mouth down to his cock.
It felt so dirty to have him use you like you were only a hole to him. The feeling of his dick pushing itself to the back of your throat as he pushed himself into you made you cough and gag. Still, every time he went to slow down, you would let one of your hands rub his leg lovingly to reassure him that you were okay, and he would speed up his pace again.
The only sound that filled the tent now was your gagging, Aonung's grunts, and the wet squelch his dick made as it pounded into your mouth, which drooled all over his crotch.
Tears pricked your eyes, and you could feel snot gently dripping from your nose. Still, after about a minute of Aonung pounding into your mouth, his thrusts became less controlled, and he managed to find his voice as the moans and whimpers he let out could finally tone down as he fastly approached his climax.
"Fuck, you're taking me all in, beautiful girl, who owns this mouth, huh? Neteyam couldn't fuck your skull like this even if he wanted to, your ass is mine", he let his words spill from his brain with no filter as he continued to thrust as much as he could manage with his high coming closer and closer.
"You're beautiful, my gorgeous mate, fuck! You're so fucking stunning", he sang out praises to you as the hand that had guided you to his dick now came to rest on your neck and rubbed circles on your skin.
The change in word choice had you blushing, and before you could decide against it, you pushed him down by his thighs. At first, he thought you needed a break and was about to grant it to you if you couldn't take it anymore. Still, instead, you took a deep breath through your nose and hollowed out your cheeks, pushing your mouth deeper than you had gone the entire session, letting your lips close around his base, which made his fists pound on the floor as he fought for something to clench onto.
You felt the tip of his dick spasm at the back of your throat, and warm liquid spat itself down your mouth, making you choke a bit. You unintentionally spat the load over yourself as you tried to swallow it and pulled back in shame.
"I'm sorry, I thought I could do it", your hand was brought to your mouth as you tried desperately to wipe away the white seed that had begun dripping around your mouth.
Aonung was left breathless as he looked over your face that was coated in his seed. He would have to purposefully cum on your face next time because as you sat there, lips plump from sucking him dry with his jizz all over your mouth and cheeks, he could feel his dick grow twitch again as a second load leaped from his cock and sprayed your legs making his head finally hang back and his chest heave.
You were shocked at the surprised second load, but as you looked down at yourself, you felt your core ache in anguish that it hadn't been your pussy he had unloaded into.
He managed to raise his head for a second, and through gasps of air, he let out.
"Fucking come here and ride my face before I have to cum again", he was breathless, but at the same time, he was restless to taste you on his face.
You chuckled as you tried to wipe away the semen, but it failed as you only rubbed the sticky substance deeper into your skin.
"Can't we have a break?" You asked, even though the break was for his enjoyment rather than your own. Your core was clenching, and you could feel your clit begging you to grind on it.
He let out his tongue at your question, resting above his chin in a silent offering.
"Well then again, what are we, amateurs?" You hopelessly huffed out as Aonung adjusted himself so that he was on his back and you had enough room to comfortably sit down without hitting the wall.
"How about after this, I put a baby in you?" He asked hopefully as you clambered beside him, slightly embarrassed about where he wanted you.
"How about you focus on making me cum before you get ahead of yourself, pretty boy?"

BITTEN
summary: bitten by a mysterious fish, Y/N is rushed to the tsa'hik not without worrying the crap out of ao'nung first.
1.4k words, fem!sullyreader
──── ⑅*❀*⑅ ────
You had been swimming with your siblings along with Ao’nung and Tsireya since noon.  The sun now beginning to move slowly down the sky to reveal beautiful arrays of colours.
You had been talking with Kiri and Tuk. Well, listening to Tuk talk to you and Kiri, as she went on continuous blurbs of creatures she had become fascinated with.
“Tuk is it not time to see if mum needs help with dinner? It is your turn to help today.” Neteyam said to her as he noticed his sisters increasingly disinterested faces.
“Oh no! I forgot. I hope mummy isn’t mad.” Tuk let her little hands cover her mouth as Neteyam chuckled.
“She won’t be Tuk-Tuk I promise, come now we’ll see mum. Okay?” Neteyam looked at you both as you gave thankful smiles to him as he ran out of the water with Tuk.
Lo’ak turned to you both “I thought she was never going to shut up.” As the words left his mouth Kiri smacked him on the arm.
“Don’t tease her.” Kiri scolded as Lo’ak poked his tongue out at her.
“If all you guys are going to do is wade in the water, you will never learn to swim.” Ao’nung snickered behind your ear, a sneaky hand travelling behind to rest on your waist, your chest starting to warm up as your heartbeat faster instantaneously.
“Then take us swimming, not that hard.” Lo’ak scoffed, the rivalry between the two boys being apparent in every interaction they had. Kiri glared at him again, a reminder for Lo’ak to keep his father’s words in mind.
“Of course.” Tsireya chimed in before Ao’nung could snap back at the skinnier boy. She dived into the water her body creating small ripples in the surface as the rest of the group followed her motion.
It was peaceful, all of you moving through the water together. The coolness of the sea surrounding you as you kept your eyes occupied at the beautiful sights around you. The bright colours, abstract animals and immersive sounds of the ocean around you, it was just so utterly amazing to you.
That was until you met the dark side of the ocean.
The others were way ahead of you, your distraction leading to your loneliness in the big blue sea. You were so immersed with the school of bright yellow fish in front of you, you didn’t realise there was a larger fish coming up behind you.
The fish was the length of your calf and as wide as your torso it came up behind you, its eyes seeking food, the bright yellow fish that were in front of you. As you swayed to the movement of the fish, the larger predator grew impatient.
Its large mouth opening to reveal rows upon rows of sharp pointy teeth. Sinking into the flesh of your thigh blood immediately seeped out of you.
Your painfully loud scream not only scared the big and small fish away but also alerted the rest of the group who turned to see the water around you a bright red.
The pain was unbelievable. It felt as if your entire leg was debilitated about to tear from the rest of your body and sink down into the depths.
“Shit Y/N!” Lo’ak’s shout brought you back from your flickering reality. “Kiri help me bring her back! Hurry!” Kiri swam with urgency, her and Lo’ak holding your body to the top of the water as you cried in pain.
Ao’nung was oblivious to the whole ordeal. He was never one to stay with a group while swimming and just like you took off on his ilu part way through, why? Because he was bored, why else? He’s a teenage boy.
But the fear that was sent through his body like a shockwave when he saw your pained expression and blood-stained body made his heart drop through him.
He was urgent to ride his ilu quick to shore trying to catch up to your sprinting siblings that took you to his mother’s hut. “What happened to her! What has happened?!” He shouted in an attempt to make Lo’ak or Kiri hear him. He was desperate, any sense of being reasonable about his reaction was slowly slipping away from him as he heard your pained groans grow louder.
While he shouted incoherently Lo’ak and Kiri cried out for help as they reached the village. “Help! Y/N is hurt! Please help!” Kiri screamed out as her arms grew sore from carrying your body.
“What has happened?” Ronal asked in a calm tone ushering you to be brought to her tent as your parents came out of their tent.
Neytiri gasped loudly followed with a shriek. “My baby! My child what has happened!?” You couldn’t get any words out only cries and grunts of pain as Ronal inspected your bitten thigh.
“Everyone out! Now!” Ronal rushed all of the kids out, only keeping your parents in the tent as you breathed harshly every time she applied ointment to your wound.
Outside of the tent, Ao’nung had run up to the entrance only to be stopped by his Neteyam, a handout between the curtain and Ao’nung’s heaving chest. “Can’t go in. Tsa’hik orders.” Neteyam said sternly his eyes filled with concern as another pained groan was let out from the inside of the tent.
“C’mon let me in bro.” He pleaded. He wasn’t a beggar but the desperation was changing his normal thinking.
“I can’t, its just our parents in there.”
“For fucks sake! Bro I didn’t even see what happened to her just let me see her!” Lo’ak then turned to the two bickering men, your blood still on his hands.
“She was bitten, it had torn some of her leg out and left some teeth in her thigh. That’s why there was just so much blood.” Ao’nung felt sick to his stomach, he couldn’t have not strayed off for once? Now you were in writhing pain.
“Shit…” Neteyam muttered under his breath before being interrupted by another pained scream from you inside the tent. The sound of your screams made Ao’nung scrunch his fists together, trying to not lose his cool.
Inside Ronal was stitching up your wound, the venom from the teeth still seeping into you, not lethal at all just debilitating while the teeth were in you. She needed to close the major wound first, so Neytiri cradled your head in her lap as she wiped your constant tears as both dads paced around the tent.
Soon Ronal had finished, giving you some medicine to subside the pain. “You must rest now. Do not try to move, you must call someone.” Ronal stated as she left the tent to see her worrisome son staring up at her hopefully.
“Is she alright?” He asked, his entire body fidgety.
“Go see her.” Before Ronal could finish Ao’nung was inside the tent, staring awkwardly at Neytiri and Jake.
“I- uh…is Y/N doing okay?” He was nervous talking to your parents but as he looked down to your leg to see the wound he felt sick again, there was no way you were doing okay.
“Yes…I need to go check on Tuk….yes. So could you please take care of her for a moment?” Neytiri said as she got off the ground.
“Of course! Uhm.. I mean yes. Yes I’ll take care of her.” Jake looked harshly at the boy before leaving the tent with Neytiri. Ao’nung immediately dropped down to your level, his hand tucking the stray hairs laying on your face behind your ears.
“Y/N?” His voice was soft, careful not to cause you panic.
“Hi Ao’nung…” You sounded so weak it made his heart crack, he wished he could just take all your pain away, seeing the way your face would scrunch up whenever you moved slightly.
“Do you need anything? Water? Food?” He was on your side resting on his knees as his hands cradled your face.
“I want a kiss.”
“What.”
“Just a kiss, to kiss it better.”
“How can you be making jokes in this state? You need to rest.” Ao’nung laughed as you smiled up at him easing your face into his palm.
“Lay down with me please.”
“Of course.” He scooted next to you as you carefully moved to lay on his chest, letting out a small groan as your leg twitched. “Be careful Y/N.”
“Just let me sleep peacefully.”
“Sure.” He watched you shut your eyes, but noticed your hands busy fidgeting with the other. “Y/N? You’re not sleeping.”
“sleep. Kiss. Goodnight.” He scoffed at you, you were so cute even covered in blood and stitches. Leaning down, stretching his neck in an odd position he laid a soft kiss onto your lips. A kiss that would wake a sleeping beauty was the kiss given. Soft and delicate, just like you.
“There you go. Little miss needy.”
“Yup, your little miss needy.”

Saccharine [Pt. 1] 🐚
Ao’nung x fem!metkayina!reader
Summary - Ao’nung is your best friend, and a possessive, domineering, and strangely quiet asshole who tends to unintentionally terrify anyone and everyone he interacts with.
Warnings - toxic friendship (obsessive and controlling on Ao’nung’s part.), smut in future parts, angst in future parts, kinda fluffy?, pretty boring. Short chapter, the rest’ll be longer.
‘ Ao’ chuckles under his breath, the expression on his face condescendingly amused as he pulls out of the hug, his hands on your shoulders. “Yeah, do you now? want me to stay ‘nd sleep with you, huh, sweetie?” ’
——/——/——/——/——/——/——/——/——/——/
You brush your ever so pretty seashell-adorned braids behind one ear, looking around at your fellow clan members gathered for dinner. When you set your eyes straight ahead, you’re met with Ao’nung’s piercing gaze. His eyes are hard, glaring through you. You don’t have the chance to wonder why, as your thoughts are interrupted by a hand on your shoulder.
You turn around, coming face to face with Nìhek, a fisherman a little bit older than you.
“Hello.” He murmurs, with a smirk that shows off his bright and sharp canines.
“Oh! Nìhek, hi! How are you?” you smile sweetly, tilting your head and sending your braids cascading across your skin.
“I’m doing well, hon.. oh, um..” His sentence trails off as his eyes trail away from you. At the same time, warm and rough hands land on your hips.
“Sweetheart.” A voice groans in your ear, warming your heart.
“Ao’!” You squeal childishly, whirling around and sending your braids whipping through the air as you throw your arms over your friend’s shoulders. Burying your face in his neck, you sigh comfortably, welcoming the safety of Ao’nung’s muscular, protective arms wrapped around your lower back.
“Nìhek.” Ao’nung impassively greets the man as you untangle yourself from his chest and turn back around. Once you do so, his arms don’t hesitate to wrap back around your waist, holding you against him as his chin rests gently on your shoulder.
“Are you two… mated..?” Nìhek questions, his words slow and stretched out.
“Mm-mm.” Ao’ hums, leaning his cheek against your jaw, and tightening his arms around your waist.
“He’s just my friend.” You explain, smiling innocently, oblivious to Ao’nung’s intimidating death stare looming over your shoulder and holding Nìhek’s attention.
“Yeah, um. I’m going to go, okay? see ya, kid.” The fisher says, pushing the words out quickly, walking away the second he finishes.
“Bye!” You call out, watching him leave, before turning to face Ao’nung once again. “You scared him off.” you whine and pout, drawing out the end of your sentence pathetically.
“I don’ care.” He scrunches up his nose, as if offended that you would imply he had any regard at all for your dating life. “My dad’s hosting a dinner party tomorrow for a bunch of his colleagues. He wants me to bring a guest.”
“Oh, I don’t think-” You begin attempting to politely excuse yourself from the event.
“I’m not asking you, I’m telling you. You’re going to go with me.” He says.
“Oh.” You utter, slightly put off by his demand. “Okay..”
“Good girl.” He smiles. “It’s getting late. You want me to walk you home?”
“I would love that Ao’nung.” you beam at him and slide your hand into his, as he begins to lead you through the crowds of people mingling amongst each other.
The further you get, the smaller the crowds become, until you eventually escape the gathering altogether. Ao’nung tries to pull his hand away from yours once the both of you are alone, only for you to pull it back to your side. He chuckles softly, warmly. It comforts you.
Still, you can’t stop his hand from leaving yours once you reach your marui.
“Goodnight.” He pulls you into a hug as he speaks, pressing your body to his. Your arms wrap around him, tugging him impossibly closer.
“Wan’ you to stay..” You murmur, your voice muffled by your cheek squished against his chest.
Ao’ chuckles under his breath, the expression on his face condescendingly amused as he pulls out of the hug, his hands on your shoulders. “Yeah, do you now? want me to stay ‘nd sleep with you, huh, sweetie?”
Your breath catches in your throat, surprised by his implications, but you simply roll your eyes and move on.
“Please?” You pout, grabbing his muscular forearms before drifting your hands into his much bigger ones. A begging look is painted on your face as you look up to meet his eyes with your wide, questioning ones.
Ao’nung groans, running his hand over his hair. Quickly, he twists his exasperated expression into a soft and much more pleasant one, and he looks down at you. “Of course I will.” He smiles, squeezing your hands as they gently rest in his.
“I never could resist you, could I?” He murmurs, chuckling as he trails after you into your marui and lays down behind you on your sleeping mat. You move back, pressing your body against him as you begin to rest, and his warm, strong arms snake around you protectively.
His arms around you grant you the most restful sleep of your life.

Hot Chocolate
Neteyam having Ao'nung try hot chocolate for the first time
“What does your father call this again?” Ao’nung asks for what feels like the hundredth time. He takes a cautious sniff from the steaming cup. Looking at it skeptically, he swirls it in his hand, stirring the contents inside.
Neteyam looks on amused at Ao’nung’s actions. “Hot chocolate,” he says again with an encouraging smile. “You like chocolate, you should like this too.”
“Not all chocolate. One of the ones you gave me tasted like dirt,” Ao’nung complains, giving Neteyam a scowl.
“That was dark chocolate and it doesn’t taste like dirt. It’s just bitter,” Neteyam retorts, tired of hearing Ao’nung's complaints. “Besides, this is made with the one you like, so taste it,” he urges Ao’nung.
Hesitantly Ao’nung brings the cupsto his lips. Neteyam’s smile only widens when he sees the pleasant look on Ao’nung’s face. “I’m not admitting you were right,” Ao’nung stubbornly says after another sip.
“I was right though,” Neteyam tells the other smugly.
With a sigh, Ao’nung tentatively admits, “It is good.”
