Neteyam has always shown so much interest in you, and made his courting so obvious, but why do people still not get the damn hint?
Currently you are walking on a huge tree branch, high above the ground, with Lo’ak, Kiri and Spider. Neteyam isn’t here, much to your dismay, because he has “ Future Olo’eyktan duties” as Lo’ak likes to call it.
“it’s almost eclipse, let’s start heading back” Kiri mentions and for once, Lo’ak and Spider agree and make their way home without causing too much of a fuss
“woah guys, you barely even whined about having to go back home so early today, whatsup?” you question laced with sarcasm as you hear Kiri chuckle and nod in agreement with you.
“we don’t want to keep you away from your boyfriend for too long y/n, we all know how cranky my brother gets without you” Lo’ak adds and Spider cackles, thinking this is so super funny.
You shove Lo’ak and tell him to shut up, and that Neteyam’s not your boyfriend, and he doesn’t get cranky.
Your relationship with Neteyam was quite.. obvious , yet complicated. Both confused teenagers in love yet don’t know how to confess it, nothing was official, but everyone knew you were off limits, you were Neteyam’s girl.
you are clutching your stomach in pain from laughing too hard when you enter the Sully’s cave, wiping a tear from your cheek wondering how on pandora could someone be so stupid as lo’ak and spider.
You hear the laughter die down and your eyes set on a pair sitting together in the gathering room of the cave, Neteyam and Rini.
You eye both of them in confusion, so does Lo’ak, Kiri, and even Spider. You feel butterflies fluttering in your stomach but not in the good way, you don’t like how close Rini is to Neteyam.
“Guys, Rini caught me on the way back to our cave and said she wanted to hang out with everyone, hope no one minds?”
The four of you shake your heads and make your way to the pair to sit down with them. It was odd, Rini wasn’t good friends with any of you, maybe Neteyam? No, you would know. Why does she suddenly wanna hang out with us? Neteyam is often times too nice to say no, maybe he couldn’t deny her? You wonder if the others question the same, and maybe they do, judging by the looks on their faces.
“y/n” you hear your name in neteyam’s voice, he pats the spot next to him, the opposite side of where Rini is sitting, you don’t want to sit next to him, to be petty, but you oblige anyways, oblivious to the female na’vi glaring daggers at you, Neteyam gives you a bright smile, now that you got his attention, you’ll have it the rest of the night.
Neteyam embraces you in a warm hug, his hands sneaking around your waist as he whispers into your ear “missed you, you look good”
you smile shyly and open your mouth to thank him, but someone else beats you to it
“Neteyam! This cut on your arm looks terrible!! Are you okay? How’d you get it?!”
God. Her voice is annoying, why is she yelling? Neteyam is literally next to her?
You eye Kiri and she rolls her eyes at Rini, you stifle a laugh and Neteyam notices, smiling sweetly at your antics, momentarily forgetting Rini was even there, until he is bought back to his senses.
“Oh this? It’s nothing just a scratch”
“Do you want me to patch it up for you?”
Your eye twitches, you try to have a normal conversation with the other three, trying your best to ignore the two sitting right next to you, but Rini makes it unbelievably hard with her screeching voice.
“No I’m g-“
“I insist” Rini touches Neteyams shoulder and gives it a squeeze, you look at Neteyam and he knows it, you’re pissed. You stay quiet and enjoy the show infront of you.
“I’ll have y/n help me later Rini, it’s alright.”
“Oh- Oh yeah okay” she deflates, but you have a feeling deep down, this girl isn’t giving up so easily. You wonder who put her up to this. Her mother? Grandmother? Friends? Toruk Makto’s eldest son’s mate does have a nice ring to it, despite the length, but that title’s yours, she knows it.
You all are laughing at Lo’ak and Kiri arguing about who Spider likes better when Neteyam rests his head on your shoulder. You feel your stomach explode with butterflies again, the good kind.
“Tired?”
“mhm” Neteyam mumbles, you reach your hand up to the braid dangling infront of his face and move it behind his ear. Your romantic little moment is interrupted yet again by the same culprit from last time.
“Neteyammm, it’s so dark! Will you walk me to my cave?” Rini latches onto Neteyam’s arm and gives him a little tug thats powerful enough to have him pulling away from you and get him to stand up.
“Uh-“ Neteyam looks at you for approval, you’re not looking at him, instead opting the floor was a better option. Neteyam is no fool, he knows why you’re upset, he gets it too, if some random man was leeching onto you like Rini is, he’d be upset, hell, he’d be crazy. He doesn’t like that expression on your face, he doesn’t like when you’re sad, because of him too.
Neteyam look’s over to Lo’ak and Lo’ak immediately gets on it. “Bro don’t worry about it, Kiri, Spider and I will walk Rini to her cave, we know you’re tired and wanna be with your girlfriend”. Lo’ak smiles and winks at his older brother.
This throws Rini offguard.
“Thank you guys. Rini, see you around”.
“Awh Neteyam it’s a shame you couldn’t accompany me, y/n keeps snatching you away from me and if i’m correct.. she isn’t even your girlfriend.. you should spend more time with me and my friends!” Rini smiles slyly, her tone innocent but her intentions show clearly. Rini hugs Neteyam and whispers something in his ear, which you’re sure she said loud enough for you to hear on purpose.
“If you ever do need a mate that will actually commit, you know your options” she winks and pulls away from his embrace as the group starts to walk outside, irritated.
You stand up abruptly and walk past Neteyam who stood there dumbfounded.
“Y/n” He grabs your wrist to stop you from walking any further.
“Let go Neteyam, I wanna go home” You hate how wobbly your voice sounds when you speak right now.
“y/n, are you crying?” He sounds so worried it makes you even sadder
“i’m sorry baby, im sorry, i didn’t know she was gonna act like that” he pulls your head into his shoulder and strokes your back comfortingly.
“don’t call me that.. im not your girlfriend, and i don’t care how she acts” you say, though your tone and quivering lip betray your words
“y/n..” he pulls you away and cups your face with his gentle hands, afraid he would break you if he was any less gentle “cmon look at me” you meet his gaze and his eyebrows furrow at the sight of your slightly red but watery eyes
“you know you’re the only girl i ever want right? you’re so special to me y/n..why don’t you see that, i want you to be mine so bad, every morning i wake up and pray to Eywa to finally have let you see how desperate i am for you. why must you let someone like rini ruin your day?”
you sniffle, and Neteyam thinks its so cute he could kiss you right now, but he holds back.
“but i am yours nete” you say, unintentional doe eyes looking up at Neteyam that make him melt, he can’t hold himself back anymore .
Neteyam leans towards your face, held by his hands, and he stops right infront of your lips, asking for permission, waiting for disapproval “kiss me y/n” it sounds like a plead, like he’s almost begging, so you do.
you feel your head explode, his lips are so soft, so perfect against your own and you question why you didn’t do this before.
you pull away but neteyam chases after your lips and captures them again. You finally pull away and rest your forehead against his. Neteyam gives you another kiss that lasts shorter than your previous, “i see you, y/n”
you look up at him through your eyelashes and smile slowly
“say it back” he whispers against your lips and you almost give in.
“are you sure? you don’t wanna explore your other options?”
“you are the only option, ever.” you smile.
“i see you, neteyam” and you kiss him again, he whines into your mouth and you have to stop yourself from giggling at the sight of our future olo’eyktan being putty in your hands.
- you hear a sob from outside and later realize Rini stayed behind cuz she thought Neteyam would leave you and go after her but oh was she wrong
- loak kiri and spider dont even realize rini is missing and they start talking shit abt her once they do
- anytime rini saw u and neteyam after this, she would always have her fists balled up and bottom lip quivering
- she thought she still had a chance with neteyam after her eavesdropping on his confession but everytime yall hung out neteyam would be so clingy that eventually she realized he was too inlove with you
- fuck u rini hah hes mine btch

Secret Cove (Part 3)
Neteyam x Metkayina (oldest daughter of Tonowari, the chief)
Neteyam is 18
Contains: new character & secrets, Neteyam fluff, Neteyam jealousy
Tumblr media
I break the surface of the water with a fish flapping around in my net. The Sully children, all except Neteyam, study the way I hold it. Kiri frowns slightly, like she’s unhappy with the killing of the fish. I paddle up to the ledge where they all sit, their toes brushing against the waves.
“It’s our dinner Kiri.” I smile at her and pull myself out of the water. A few villagers whisper from a nearby pod, their eyes following my movement. Rumors about Tonowari’s eldest getting in trouble have spread rapidly. I act like I don’t see their stares.
“Yea, I know,” Kiri replies in annoyance. Tuk stares off into the horizon, lost in her own world. Lo’ak stares at Tsireya and she pretends not to notice. Everyone seems fine but lessons feel wrong without Neteyam here. Lo’ak had said their father took Neteyam out hunting with the other men. Aonung and Rotxo had looked at each other with shared jealousy. I hadn’t said anything but I know it’s more than just a hunting spree. Guess Jake and my father really do want us to stay apart.
“That’s it for today,” Aonung says. Kiri immediately jumps up and skips off, Tuk hurrying behind her. Lo’ak pats Aonung on the back before following after his sisters. I sigh. I’m not sure when I’ll be able to see Neteyam again. What if he doesn’t return to our lessons? Should I sneak out again? Risk being caught?
“Sister?” Aonung asks. Rotxo peers curiously at me from beside him. “What’s bothering you?”
“Nothing, I’m fine.” I smile at him, it hurts my face to do it but I do. I haven’t told him anything that happened. I just said that our parents freaked out over nothing. That he had nothing to worry about. That I’m fine. I know he didn’t fully believe me but he knew better than to push me.
Aonung shrugs before challenging Rotxo to a race. They dive in the water and disappear under the waves. I should return to my pod where my parents are expecting me. Eclipse is soon, and after the trouble I got in, I can’t risk being late. But my rebellious streak still burns through me. I keep hearing Neteyam’s voice in my head, We already broke two rules, what’s a few more?
I’m so lost in thought that I don’t realize someone’s walked up beside me until he speaks.
“Hey.” I whip my head to the side to find Issak standing beside me. He’s tall with light blue skin and a spear in his hand. His black hair curls around his temples. Issak and I were friends as children. Always swimming after each other and exploring. Our parents used to say that we were destined for eachother. Before everything happened. Before– no. I can’t think about that.
“Issak,” I say, surprise evident in my voice. “What is it?”
He laughs, the sound rumbles from within him. A familiar sound, one I’ve heard many times before. “I’m just saying hello. Can I not say hello?”
I don’t respond and he tilts his head at me. “How is training the forest kids?”
I roll my eyes and start walking towards my pod. That’s what he wants to talk about? A million memories flash through my mind, mostly of things I want to forget. His footsteps vibrate on the path behind me.
“Wait,” he says as he places a hand on my arm. “I didn’t mean that. I just want to see how you’re doing.”
“You care now?”
“I’m sorry, I’ve been busy and I… well I heard something about you.”  Dread curls in my stomach. I already know what he’s about to say. He keeps his hand on my arm. His four webbed fingers feel so different from Neteyam’s five soft ones.
 “Did you steal the special alcohol? The ones we use for celebration?”
The whole village really does know. I try not to groan. “No, I didn’t.” I move to push past him but he places his other hand on my shoulder, blocking me.
“I’m not judging. We did things we shouldn’t have back when…” he shrugs. “Anyway, can you grab some alcohol for me? Who knows when the Tulkun will be back and we can have a celebration.”
I freeze. Things we shouldn’t have. I can’t deal with Issak right now. I forcefully shove his hands off me. “I can’t and I wouldn’t,” I reply sharply.
He tries to grab me again. “Wait, that not why I wanted to–”
“Don’t touch me!”
Someone clears their throat behind me. Issak’s apologetic face turns into one of concern. Neytiri stands behind me, her eyes narrow on Issak. He gives her a curt nod before turning and leaving me.
Neytiri watches his retreating back with distaste, as if she can sense his energy, before stepping toward me. Did she seek me out? My mouth goes dry. “Is Neteyam okay?”
Surprise flashes through her eyes. “He is fine. Out with his father.”
Relief floods through me as Neytiri cocks her head to the side. “Are you alright?”
I nod. It’s an easy lie– I’ve been telling everyone that I’m okay. That I’m not bothered by the clan spreading rumors and talking about me. And now Issak; is he going to bring up the past? On top of it all, is the deep ache in my heart, my longing to be with Neteyam. Just to speak with him and see his playful smile. Neytiri studies me, her intelligent eyes looking right into me. I’m convinced she can see my every thought.
“I was looking for you,” she begins and drops her voice to a whisper. “Up on shore where the trees grow taller, three hours after eclipse. A good time for a ride.”
What? I’m about to ask her a question but she walks away immediately, disappearing into the village as my people get ready for dinnertime. I look at the sky, eclipse has already begun, sending orange rays of light across the ocean. Three hours after? A ride?
~~~
I feel stupid. I’ve walked further and higher than I ever have before; I went past the mangrove and palm trees until the ground began lifting up, towards the mountain. And there has been no sound other than my own footsteps. Maybe I misunderstood Neytiri. Maybe she was just sharing some random tidbit with me? I mean there is nothing up here to ride.
Not that I would know, my people never come up here, everything we need is in the ocean and on the shore. I’m starting to get cold, the night sky glistening above me as I stare at the unfamiliar treetops. The ground feels strange between my toes. That’s it, I misunderstood, and I’m going home.
I’m about to leave when the ground crunches behind me. I whip around, suddenly scared in this unknown territory. Neteyam stands in front of me and pushes a wooden woven headband onto his head.
“Neteyam,” I breathe, feeling the air rushes out of my lungs. He takes two steps towards me and I run at him, throwing my arms around his shoulders. He stumbles backwards at the force of my embrace but quickly recovers. His strong arms encircle me, warming my chilled skin. He buries his face in my neck and inhales.
All my worries and anxieties disappear, they vanish right from me, as they always do when I’m with him. Neither of us speak, we simply enjoy the other’s presence. After a few moments, we pull out of our embrace.
Neteyam grabs my hand. “I wasn’t sure she would do it.”
“Do what?”
“My mom. I implied that I didn’t want to be alone tonight but I wasn’t sure if she understood. Definitely wasn’t sure if she would tell you.”
I squeeze his hand. “She told me. Guess there’s one person who supports us.”
“She likes you.”
I hold back my surprise. Neytiri, badass warrior, likes me? I laugh in disbelief. “I think she just wants you to be happy.”
A playful smile grows on Neteyams lips and he nudges my side. “Oh, you think you make me happy, huh?”
“As a matter of fact,” I nudge him back, “I think I do.”
He laughs, his shoulders jiggle with the motion. It’s a sweet sound, almost addicting, like a perfect melody you just want to capture and listen to over and over. His whole face changes when he laughs, he seems so relaxed. I’m staring at him, I know I am. He notices and smiles at me, no playfulness— just a genuine smile.
“You make me very happy,” he whispers. I shrug and make a face that says, I knew it. He rolls his eyes and starts rubbing his fingers in small circles on my hand. “But, my mom does like you. She said you have a strong heart.”
I’ve never heard that expression. “What does it mean?”
“It means…” He leans towards me and kisses me cheek. His soft lips brush my skin as his scent fills my nose; saltwater and something muskier, like the wood of a forest. “You are brave.” He pulls away and moves to my other cheek. “And kind.” He kisses me again, causing heat to rise to my face. He inches his face up to my forehead. “And full of life.” His lips brush my forehead and I lean into him. I close my eyes as his arms wrap around me. He puts his head down so his forehead meets mine.
Our breath mixes together in front of us. I open my eyes to find him looking at me, drinking in every aspect of my face. “And beautiful. A beautiful soul.”
My breath catches in my throat. No one has ever said anything like that to me. I stare back into his eyes, feeling my heartbeat ferociously in my chest. I can’t believe how amazing he is. My mind goes quiet when I’m around him, like it’s finally at peace. A million words stumble through my mind but all I can say is, “That’s not me. That’s you.”
He shakes his head, his forehead rubbing against mine. “It’s us.”
I grin, my first real smile in awhile. Neteyam’s pupils widen as he looks at me. He pulls his forehead away and tugs my hand. “I want to show you something,” he says before tightening his grip on my hand running deeper into the mountainside.
We run for a little until we reach a cliff. Palm trees cover the side of it but in the center, is an ikran. I gasp at the sight of it. It’s colorful wings, a strong neck, and beady eyes. The ikran grasps the side of the cliff, its beak beckoning to Neteyam. The ocean glistens from below.
Neteyam watches me absorb this sight, his hand never leaving mine. After a moment he says, “I want you to meet someone.”
Neteyam walks up to the ikran and makes a sound. The ikran behinds their head, rubbing against Neteyam’s strong chest. He rubs the ikran’s head lovingly before motioning for me to join him. I walk slowly closer to him, nervousness spreading through my body. I’ve never been so close to an ikran before.
Neteyam grabs his hair and connects it to his ikran, making tsaheylu. The ikran’s eyes focus on me as they bend their head, inviting me to pet. I reach my hand out steadily and stroke Neteyam’s ikran. His ikran looks at me curiously as I continue to run my hand down his scales.
Neteyam smoothly jumps onto his ikran’s back, settling his foot into a grove on the side of his saddle. He sticks his hand out to me. “Come on.”
“No, no,” I say unsurely. “I’ve never flown.”
“It’s amazing. The view is…”
“You go, I’ll wait here.”
Neteyam looks at me, a smirk growing on his lips. “Are you scared, ocean girl?”
I stand up straight. “No, I’m not. I just prefer not to be way up in the sky.”
He laughs and shakes his outreached hand. “Come with me. I won’t let anything happen to you.”
I swallow, doubts swarming in my mind. What if someone saw us? Neteyam’s hand glows in the dark, that gorgeous blue. Screw it. I take his hand and he pulls me up onto his ikran with a triumphant gleam in his eyes. I settle in behind him, my legs straddling his hips.
“Not too high, forest boy,” I begin as Neteyam shoots his ikran straight up into the air. A scream hurdles out of my mouth as I throw my arms around his waist and hold on as tightly as possible. The wind whips against my face, causing my eyes to water. My heart beats wildly. We are flying completely straight up. “Neteyam!” I yell in his ear.
I think he’s laughing but I can’t hear him over the roar of the wind. His shoulders shake rhythmically, as if he’s really enjoying this. I squeeze my eyes shut. I shouldn’t have agreed to this. His ikran goes flat. It happens in an instant, one moment we are skyrocketing upwards and now we are smoothly flying in a straight line.
Neteyam pats my thigh. “You can open your eyes,” he says softly.
I open them slowly and observe the view. The ocean looks like a dark blanket from up here. I can see the surf like white glaze across the sand. Our village looks so small. The night sky seems so close and the glow from it seems to radiate into my soul. I breathe deeply, feeling the beauty and magic of Pandora.
Then I notice Neteyam staring at me. I take my hand off his waist and smack him in the arm. “You skxawng!” I yell. “You could’ve killed me!”
“You wouldn’t have died… maybe just fallen in mid-air for a little…”
I smack again causing him to laugh. “I said not too high!”
“But then you wouldn’t see this,” he replies and motions to the beautiful view beneath us. “Besides, I would’ve caught you.”
“Mhm,” I mumble as I lean my head forward and relax it on his shoulder. He continues to fly his ikran. We circle high above the village, over the cliffs, and past the reefs. His body warms mine against the wind as I absorb the feelings of flying. It feels like true freedom. I’m glad he showed me this.
“Hey,” I whisper to him. He turns his head over his shoulder and looks at me. “When the Tulkun come, I want to introduce you to my spirit sister.”
His lips break apart into a wide smile. “I’d like that.” He places a kiss on my forehead. I wrap my arms tighter around him, enjoying the feeling of my body pressed against his. He places his hand on my leg, his fingers wrapping around my thigh. I wish I could stay just like this forever.
~~~
I sit on my ilu, absorbing the daylight as the ocean water skims my legs. The Sully kids, my siblings, and me, all sit on our ilu’s in a circle. Our lessons had begun early today but I didn’t mind. Neteyam is here. I had a feeling Neytiri said something to Jake about letting him come. I owe her so many thanks.
He’s right next to me, his skin reflecting the light from the water. I try not to stare. We’ve been keeping us a secret, especially from our families. But it’s hard. I find myself always gravitating towards him. He always looks at me from the corner of his eye. Or he’ll playfully try and grab my tail when no one is looking. Except, Lo’ak and Tsireya saw him this morning and they shared a knowing look.
“What should we do next?” Aonung asks the group as we float on the surface of the water, the village behind us.
“Let’s keep diving!’ Tuk cries from her ilu next to Kiri.
“Argh, not again Tuk,” Lo’ak says and rolls his eyes.
“You never want to do what I wanna do,” Tuk pouts.
“You always want to do lame things. That’s why you always follow us around.”
“No I don’t!” Tuk says angrily.
“Lo’ak,” Neteyam’s stern voice comes out. “Don’t start.”
Lo’ak grumbles something under his breath as the others begin talking about other things to do. I giggle softly. Neteyam’s voice is so much deeper when he is trying to be stern. He looks over at me, hearing my laugh. He narrows his eyes at me like he knows what I’m laughing about.
His ilu swims into mine causing me to jerk forward. I gasp and look up at him. He shrugs with a look on his face that says, I didn’t do it. I accusingly shake my head at him before telling my ilu to swim into his. Just before our animals connect, he dodges away.
“Too slow, ocean girl,” he says confidently, an arrogant grin sneaking onto his face.
Oh he’s gonna eat his words. I’m just about to tell my ilu to swim right into his when an all too familiar voice speaks.
“Hello.”
My stomach drops. I turn around to see Issak swimming right up to us. Aonung and Tsireya wave at him. If only they knew…
Kiri and Tuk watch him curiously as he joins our circle in the waves. Lo’ak and Neteyam both assess him, trying to figure him out. Issak greets my siblings before turning his gaze to me.
“Can I speak to you?”
“I’m busy.”
He smiles at me, his charmer smile. “It will only be a moment.” Neteyam’s gaze sharpens at Issak’s expression.
I nod. I can’t turn him down without getting questions from my siblings. Issak motions with his head for me to follow and turns from the group. Neteyam watches me, his eyes guarded. “I’ll be right back,” I say.
As I swim out of the circle, Lo’ak’s voice floats after me, “Yo, he looks badass. Better watch out, bro.”
“Shut up,” Neteyam responds, an edge in voice.
I shake my head. Issak is far from badass. He waits for me a little ways from the group, his head bowed down as he pats his ilu. Every nerve in my body is telling me to turn around. Issak is a reminder of too many things. Things I don’t want to remember. He looks up as I reach him, his blue eyes twinkling dangerously.
“Two visits in one day,” I say flatly.
“You’re a lucky girl,” he smirks.
I roll my eyes and look back at the group. Neteyam is watching us. I can see the tension in his shoulders from here. He asks Aonung a question. Aonung turns and looks at Issak before beginning to respond to Neteyam. Great, who knows what he’s telling him.
“Got a thing for the tree lover?”
I snap my gaze back to Issak, anger brewing in my gut. “What do you want?”
Issak sighs and looks at the sky. I bite my tongue to keep from saying something rude. I look back at the group, Aonung is still talking to Neteyam. Lo’ak inches closer to them, straining to hear their conversation. Tsireya watches me worriedly. Neteyam’s eyebrows clench together and his eyes never leave me.
“I don’t have all day,” I snap at Issak.
“I miss you.”
My jaw drops open. Issak reaches his hand out and puts it on my shoulder. I’m completely frozen. I can’t believe the nerve of him. He starts to rub my shoulder, his webbed fingers feeling foreign on my skin.
He swims closer to me on his ilu so his face is right next to mine. I don’t move. Too many thoughts swirl through my head. He leans forward and says, “There’s things I want to talk to you about. About the Sully’s and the sky people. They—”
“Hey,” a stern voice says. My head snaps up at the familiar sound. Neteyam. He straddles his ilu, leaning forward slightly with a certain sharpness to his features as he stares at Issak’s hand on me. “What’s going on?”
Oh, no. I shove Issak’s hand off. “Nothing we were–”
“Just chatting about the past,” Issak cuts me off with a smirk. He slowly places his hand back in his lap. “Our history.” He looks at me and winks before saying, “I’ll see you around.”
He leaves, dipping beneath the surface of the water, before I get a chance to respond. Lo’ak and Aonung watch from a distance, surprise coating their faces. Neteyam swims in front of me, his ilu greets mine. He raises a faint eyebrow at me. “So, who’s that?”
“No one,” I reply, not wanting to talk about Issak.
Neteyam looks at the empty space where Issak had sat. He turns his head towards me, his golden eyes a darker shade than usual. “I don’t like him.”
I laugh. The sound escapes my lips before I have a chance to stop it. Neteyam’s eyebrows turn downwards. “I’m serious. He has bad energy, ocean girl.”
“Jealous?”
Neteyam scoffs before glancing at me shyly. “No.”
I nudge his shoulder. “Mhm, so if I went to see him–”
“No.” Neyetam closes his eyes like he cannot fathom the thought.
“You are jealous!”
“I’m not! I just looked over and saw his hand on you and…” He trails off, a small blush creeping onto his cheeks. I find his hand from beneath the waves and slip my fingers through his.
“And what?”
“And I wanted to rip his hand off.”
“Neteyam!”
He sighs and squeezes my hand. “You can do anything you want. I’m not jealous.” He stares at me, his golden eyes growing darker by the second. “But if he lays a hand on you again, I don’t care who I have to go through or what rules I break, I will make sure it’s the last thing he ever does.”
My mind goes blank. Neyetam’s gaze is so intense, I know he isn’t kidding. Something flutters in my stomach and spreads throughout my whole body.
I struggle to find my voice and my words come out in one breath, “Sounds intense.”
He leans into my ear and whispers, “You can’t even begin to imagine.”
I’m breathless as I stare into his darkening gaze. I’m not even sure what he means but his husky voice repeats over and over in my mind. I want to kiss him, reach out and grab his shoulders. But we’re right in front of the village, anyone could see us. As if he read my thoughts, he says, “Tonight. Same spot, same time.”
I immediately nod, causing a curly strand of hair to fall in front of my face. He reaches out slowly and twists the hair around his finger before tucking it gently behind my ear. I can’t help but smile softly at the gesture. His fingers slide across my skin longingly. He pulls away and smiles before swimming towards the village.
I watch his retreating back, how his dark blue skin glistens in the daylight. He’s so beautiful it makes my heart ache and makes my mind go blank. My stomach flutters at the thought of seeing him again, of flying above the ocean, and kissing him.
Later that night, we went flying. I sit on the back of his ikran and allow myself to get lost in the sky and in his arms. And after hours of flying, we settle into the sand and whisper to each other. We share kisses beneath the night sky. His body keeps me warm and protects me. I feel so safe with him. His shoulder relaxes and my favorite smile of his spreads across his face. It’s a lazy smile, his most relaxed expression.
He tells me things he’s never told anyone before and I do the same. Our noses touch as we laugh at each other and with each other. I feel like I could let all my walls down. And I almost do. Each time he gives me that smile. Or our lips collide. I want to tell him everything. Even what happened back with Issak. All the things we found out. But each time I open my mouth, ready to spill, nothing ever comes out.
Neteyam holds me on top of the sandy cliff as we lay on the ground, his ikran settling in beside us. Neteyam’s breathing begins to slow and his eyes drop shut. I watch his calm face, so serene in his sleep. Everything will be okay, I tell myself but each time I close my eyes– I see Issak’s face with a lethal look in his eyes.
Thank you for all the support!!
I tried some different things with this part so let me know what you think. I'm not sure how I feel about it
Part 4 there will be: Tulkun returning, a celebration, and secrets revealed.

Playmate
Neteyam x omatikayna fem reader (all aged up)
Warnings: cursing, p in v, multiple orgasms, creampie at the end, gamer-girl helping Neteyam with his “set up.”
Synopsis: He needed help with his gaming set-up, and you were willing to lend a helping hand in more ways than one…
You were in the middle of doing your daily chores when it happened…
“Hey, y/n right?” A familiar, deep, sexy voice asked from behind, completely stopping you in your tracks. This couldn’t be, you thought. There was no way.
You placed your basket of laundry on the little table infront of you. Taking a deep breath before turning slowly. A fake, nervous smile plastered on your face as you struggled to maintain eye contact with the tall, dark, handsome man infront of you. He shot you an award winning smile that showed off his pearly white canines. So white you could’ve sworn you saw them glint like the cheesy commercials.
You went to speak, but a small whimper fell from your lips. What an idiot, you thought. Not even being able to form a coherent thought, let alone SPEAK infront of him.
You had a huge crush on Neteyam, this was very true. Your friends knew about it, your siblings knew about it, your father and mother, HIS brother who so happened to be your bestfriend…hell, even NETEYAM knew you had a crush on Neteyam. You were so painfully awkward around him that it made it so obvious.
But Neteyam was unattainable in your eyes. Being the next in line, and the most popular warrior here, you believed that you didn’t stand a chance. He chuckled at your flustered little mewls, before shooting you a lighthearted smile again.
“I just wanted to talk to you about something. Or…ASK you for help with something.” He corrected himself, eyeing your small frame briefly, making sure not to have you whining Infront of him again. He knew even the slightest look would make you nervous, but he couldn’t help it.
He was just a man, after all, and as much as YOU didn’t see how beautiful you were…he sure did. You had the body of a goddess; full breasts, slim waist, wide hips, and long legs. You had beauty that could make a man melt, and he was so hot for you. You always wore those screening glass too. The ones that you wore to play your video games. A lot of the clan members thought it was…different but Neteyam liked it a lot. It reminded him of those fake “school girls” in those porn videos he’d sneak and watch. Never would he tell you that though, you might actually faint.
“Mhm.” You hummed, nodding frantically, wondering what in the world the mighty warrior himself…would need help with…from YOU.
“You and lo’ak always play those video games together at night, right? I hear you through his headset sometimes.” Neteyam asked, taking a step closer. You took a step back quickly, your plump ass backing Into the table with force.
“Mhm.” You hummed again, nodding your head at him. He bit his lip subtly, he couldn’t help it. You turned him on so much without even knowing.
“Use your words when you talk to me.” He commanded playfully, taking another step closer. You whimpered again, trying to back up but quickly noticing that there was nowhere for you to run.
“Yes, sir..I-I mean, Neteyam!” You spoke in your sweet, innocent voice. You mentally face palmed. What the fuck was wrong with you? You thought. He brushed that off, not wanting to make you any more uncomfortable than you already were.
“Well, lo’ak wants me to get into it. But I don’t know where to start, and he’s just no fucking help. Think you can set me up? Maybe I’ll be able to play with you two now.” He smiled genuinely. The question, had you stuck in place. What did Neteyam want with childish games? And why was he so serious about it that he had to come to you?
“Well, there are monitors and PC’s in the lab. That’s where lo’ak got his from. I built my own though. My monitor has really nice graphics too, but I just picked that up from the lab. It really depends on what you’re looking for. Mine has about 46GB’S of ram, but 8 is the sweet spot. I think I can hook you up. You’d have to come with me to carry all of that equipment though…because I can’t. “ you rambled, not even realizing that you haven’t stuttered once.
Neteyam just smiled at you, watching you go on and on about something that you were passionate about. So damn passionate that you forgot about the silly crush you had on him for a moment.
“I-Im not tech savvy like you and lo’ak, so I don’t understand a word you just said.” He chuckled. You a long with him.
“But, let’s meet at the lab tonight, yeah? You can pick the set up out for me, and then we can put it together at my hut.” He asked, nodding his head to get you in agreeance with his plan.
“Yeah, sure. I’ll meet you there tonight.” You spoke confidently. The only thing you were every really confident about was your knowledge with technology.
He nodded happily, reaching his arms out for a hug. And there it was again, the nerves creeping up on you with a quickness. You eyed his chest, all the way down to his chiseled abs….allll the way down to his loincloth. God, he had you in heat just looking at him.
“I promise you…looking at me won’t do much justice.” He teased, curling his fingers in a “come here.” Motion. You whimpered again, you just couldn’t help it. It was like a habit around him.
You walked closer, wrapping your arms around his torso. His skin was warm, yet hard. A mix between a protector and a warrior. His strong arms found there way around your shoulders, wrapping you up in his embrace with a tight squeeze. His scent was crazy, so damn addicting that you didn’t even want to let him go.
“I’ll see you tonight then, right?” He whispered in your ear, swaying you both back and forth. “Yes, Neteyam.” You spoke calmly , a delirious smile plastered across your face as your eyes shut.
You found yourself drawing circles in his lower back before your hands shift up to the back of his arms, caressing them gently. You both pulled away at the same time, a sarcastic grin on your face at this very awkward moment for you.
“Bye, y/n…” he trailed off teasingly before walking away from you. You could see every muscle flexing in his back from his hard steps, his hair swaying back and forth along his shoulders. God, he was so fucking hot.
————
The day went on as usual, and you met Neteyam at the lab. You gave him a simple tutorial for things he needed to know about his new set up before you pulled some equipment out for him.
You walked him through the tech room, and picked some stuff out for him, putting them in his arms until he couldn’t see over the huge boxes. It didn’t take long before you two were off to his hut.
Once you got there, you began to put his set up together rather quickly. He just watched you work. He didn’t understand why this was turning him on so much, watching you make complicated tech work for you in the way that you wanted.
About an hour and a half later, you were done. Stepping back to look at you work, Neteyam stood by you, admiring your work as well.
“You like it?” You asked, watching him run his fingertips over the expensive equipment. He was in awe, a small chuckle escaping his lips.
“I-I love it. Thank you, y/n.” He nodded genuinely before catching your gaze with his. You blushed, giggling into your hand.
“Ofcourse, Neteyam.” You smiled, pushing your glasses up with one finger. The act alone making his cock twitch. You were so hot without even fucking trying.
“Wanna show me how to use this stuff before you go?” He asked, taking a seat in his chair, and twirling towards the monitor. You swiftly walked up next to where he was sitting.
Without even knowing, you shifted infront of him to press the “on” button on the chin of the monitor. However, your slender back, and round ass was on full display for him when he sat back and let you take control.
He licked his lips, tilting his head to get a better view. You were putting it out there for him, so why not admire it?
“So , this is the power button. It’s how you turn the monitor on and off.” You explained , not even looking behind you. You grabbed the mouse once the monitor was on.
“I took the liberty of downloading all of the games you need on here already, so you don’t have to worry about that.” You explained, pressing on the first game to open it for him.
He wasn’t even listening, as much as he tried to. He was too focused on your backside, on full
Display for him. He was so tranced that he started to feel drool drip down his chin.
“This is actually my favorite game. Mind if I play with you?” You asked innocently, already beginning the game. The reflection of the computer in your glasses.
“You can play with me all you want.” He spoke, wiping his mouth off. He adjusted his hips, his large hands squeezing the arms of the chair, trying his best to not bring you down on his lap.“Perfectttt.” You sung, already immersed in the game.
You were so oblivious sometimes, you clearly weren’t getting the fucking hint. So he had to take matters into his own hands. He knew you liked him anyway, what’s the worst that could happen?
“You can’t be comfortable…standing up like this. Wanna take a seat?” He asked, simultaneously grabbing your hips and bringing you down onto his lap. He thrusted up softly, groaning at the new found friction.
“Awnn, you’re so sweet! Thanks Teyam.” You smiled, still engulfed in that fucking game. You really couldn’t care less about anything when you were gaming. Didn’t even notice his growing bulge underneath your clothed cunt.
“DAMMIT! Bro get out of the way!” You shouted at the screen, intense keyboard smacking following.
He was growing a bit frustrated. You were paying him no fucking attention, so he decided to turn things up a notch. His large hands shifted up your tiny waist, all the way to your full breasts, squeezing them gently.You gasped, letting the controls go all together. You let out a low moan, looking down at his wandering hands.
“Teyam?” You asked, a small whimper following when he began to roll your clothed nipples in between his fingers.
“I need it, I’m sorry. You’re too damn sexy for me to just let you slip between my fingers without getting a taste. Here, play your game. I’ll be quick, yeah? Don’t need you getting nervous on me.” He explained, sitting up to press the keys so the game could restart for you. You were flustered, but did what you were told.
You found it hard to focus on the game now. Shaky hands finding the mouse and keyboard as you started playing again.
He began to shift his hands back to your waist, using it as leverage to dry hump you. Rocking you back and forth on his rock hard cock while he groaned behind you. His head went back against the chair, getting carried away. He started to thrust up into you, the friction consuming him.
You couldn’t focus now. You were just playing with the keys because he told you too. You began to moan lowly, strategically moving your hips to help with the friction as well.
“Let me fuck you, please. I-I need it.” He groaned, now fully bouncing you on his lap. How could you say no? You wanted it just as bad as him.
“Mhm. Take it, Nete.” You moaned, letting the keys go entirely. You grabbed the arms his chair, grinding into him hard. Driving him up a fucking wall.
“Ohhh, shit.” He moaned, guiding your movements with his large hands. Watching the show infront of him.
He didn’t even have enough time, nor did he have enough patience to fiddle with the strings on his or your loincloth. He haulted your movements for a moment, reaching down to slide his loincloth to the side, just enough for his raging cock to come through the fabric.
You could feel it on your back, it was pulsing and heavy, making you wet just thinking about that going inside of you.
You reached around to your front, standing up alittle to slide yours to the side as well before hovering over his cock, the tip probing at your entrance.
“Need to be in you..s-so so bad.” He groaned, grabbing your hips to slide you down on him slowly. Your pretty mouth falling agape at the stretch while his eyes rolled back.
“Ohhh God.” Neteyam whispered to himself before thrusting up into you one time so that your pelvises were flush with eachother.
The stretch was delightful, to say the least. It was so good that you began to bounce on him without him guiding you. You needed some kind of friction. You were a mess already, moaning with that sweet innocent voice of yours. It made his fucking head spin.
“That’s it, fuck me, juuuust like that, baby.” He chuckled teasingly before his bottom lip found refuge in between his teeth.
With one hand guiding your hips, the other one had your long ponytail in a pitbull lock, wrapping it around his forearm as he began to thrust into you firmly.
“Harder…” you whimpered, grinding on his dick. Using him to get you off. “I hear you, baby. I’m gonna rock your whole fucking world.” He growled, standing up with you still wrapped around his cock.
He pushed you into the table, you immediately pushing the keyboard and monitor to the side to crawl on the table for him. Your knees placed firmly on the wood while your back was arched, opening yourself up to be used like a personal fuck toy.
He twirled the strings of your loincloth around his hand, using it as leverage to fuck you harder like you asked. So hard that his movements alone were rocking the entire hut. “Like that?” He asked, smacking your ass a few times, leaving prominent handprints on the plush flesh.
“Ooo yes! Yes, juuust like that.” You whimpered, your head finding refuge on the table, twisting your upper half to watch him.
A thin layer of sweat was visible on his forehead. He was concentrated, reaaaally concentrated. Watching your ass smack against his pelvis with every rough thrust.
“I-I’ve been dying to fuck you. For s-sooo, so long.” He confessed, tilting his head to watch you fall apart. Those few words making your walls flutter around him. “Yeah?” You moaned, a delirious smile plastered across your face.
“Mhm. Been waiting to make this pretty pussy cream. I know you’re close too. Go ahead, baby. Make daddy’s dreams come true, yeah?” He groaned, heavy pants escaping his chest as he sped up his pace.
“I-Im gonna-“ you began before gulping down your words. You could feel your muscles tense, and your legs shake. This orgasm was going to ruin you, unlike any build-up you’ve ever felt before.
“Don’t be scared, I don’t bite, baby. Let it go for me.” He reassured you, now fucking you nice and slow, leaving that build-up lingering in your lower abdomen.
“I-it’s not normal. This isn’t normal, neteyam!” You panicked, shifting your hand to his abs to hault his movements. Yet, he didn’t oblige. He knew what was happening, and he wanted to see it first hand.
“Hmm. What’s not normal baby? The feeling in your stomach? Like you’re gonna fucking burst at any second , right?” He teased, speeding up again.
“I-Im gonna pee, I think.” You whined, the coil in your stomach seconds away from unraveling. His eyes rolled in pleasure at your sweet, innocent voice.
“You’re not gonna pee. I swear, j-just let go. Pleaseee. I-I need it.” He moaned, angling his hips up to hit your sweet spot aggressively. And that was it…
The coil in your stomach snapped, free flowing out of your tight cunt like a heavy stream. A rippling wave of electricity surging through your body. “Fuuuuuuck.” You cried, actual tears running down your pretty face.
“Ohhh shit. Just like that, baby. Juuust like that. Feels so good.” Neteyam groaned in pleasure, watching your body tremble. Your walls fluttered around him expertly, sending him spiraling.
“I’m gonna cum. G-Gonna fill this pussy up.” He moaned deliriously, pulling you up by your long ponytail. You quickly shifted to where you were standing.
Letting you re-adjust, he began pumping into you while his lips found refuge on your neck. A few wet, sloppy kisses down your jugular led to whimpers in your ear as his peak got closer.
Your hands gripped the edge of the table firmly while he fucked you like an animal. His arm wrapped around your neck, as he continued his attack on your poor cunt.
You were a fucked out mess. Your eyes were red, and puffy. Your cheeks were flushed and stained with tears. And you were on the verge of yet another orgasm as he man handled you like he was taming a wild beast.
“Gonna let me cum in this pussy right? Gonna be a good girl for me? Huh? Say it.” He commanded, fucking Into you harder and harder with each stroke.
“Need your cum, t-teyam. I’ll be a good girl and take it.” You moaned, eyes rolling back as yet another orgasm ripped through your soul. This time, he watched a thin coat of your cream cover his cock with every single thrust, just like he wanted.
“Gooood girl. I-I’m gonna cum for you. Give you what you want, ok?” He whispered in your ear before playfully nibbling at it. A few more lazy strokes and he lost it.
You could feel ropes of seed making it’s way into your empty womb. You both humming in pleasure at the feeling. “Shiiiiiit.” He groaned, thrusting into you one last time, before slowly pulling out of you. You both took a few deep breaths. As he held your hips in place, stopping you from tilting over.
“Well. Now that I got that out of my system. Can you repeat everything you said about this PC for me, pretty girl?” He asked jokingly, a breathily laugh escaping his chest before he kissed you cheek.
What the hell were you gonna do with him?

The omaticaya clan was bustling with life and joy as their tsahik has given birth to their Olo'eyktan's first offsprings, though it was uncommon for twins to be born and were called sacred and gifts given by eywa herself as twins either kills the mother or one of them dies at the time of birth but this time it was a miracle as neytiri survived that painful period of time and came back alive with two beautiful children in her arms.
Neteyam and y/n were the pride and joy of Jake and neytiri's life, y/n being the absolute daddy's princess and clung to him with every given minute , he took her everywhere he could, strapping her to his chest and taking her to war meetings as the surrounding warriors didn't even dare to think about commenting on the sight in front of them, while y/n was with Jake, neteyam was a mama's boy and neytiri could never let Jake live down to it, always flaunting how her son always wants her and not him and his comeback is always how much y/n wants him but the banter always ends up with the four of them cuddling together in the hammock as they all drift to sleep.
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
Neteyam and y/n were like sun and moon, if one is leading the other follows right after, and that's how it always was, y/n would lead and neteyam would follow her, though they both never disobeyed their father's words, Jake was their role model, both y/n and neteyam followed Jake's orders as if there was no tomorrow but they still had their moments when suddenly neytiri became their favorite because now Jake wanted nothing more but pick them up and tickle them until they were convulsing in fits of laughter.
If y/n was seen somewhere then neteyam was surely around the same ground and vice versa so if any of the kids picked on one of them the other immediately stood up for them, the twins were inseparable, joint to the hips if you must and the village nothing but adored them, they were the future Olo'eyktan and tsahik in making afterall but even before that everyone just loved them for their bubbly and calm nature.
Jake carried y/n on his shoulder while neytiri held neteyam as they both walked towards the lake they all visited every week, but today was different, today they had news which would change the twins life probably forever….
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
Jake and neytiri both sat near the twins as they watched their kids run around chasing each other and splashing water every now and then, meanwhile Jake got distracted and seeing the opportunity the twins splashed water at their old man with all their might drenching Jake from head to toe while all neytiri did was laugh at the sight, huffing Jake got up and stormed towards the kids, picking them up , the squeals and laughter ringing through the forest, he threw both of them in the water gently, all the while laughing at the whole scene, soon it was getting dark as they cuddled together, that's when the parents decided to tell the news, "neteyam, y/n" neytiri started, she looked at Jake once more and he nodded for her to go forward " you know you both are brother and sister right now, hmm?" Both the kids just nodded their head, their little brains confused about why their mother is stating the obvious, "well, now you both will get to be big brother and sister in few months" but their confusion was still there as they looked at their father for clarification, Jake just smiled and said "well what mommy is saying that, there will be another person for you to play with in time, then you'd be big siblings to them" but the only thing the twins focused on was 'they will have another person to play with them!'.
Soon enough Two babies joined the family and the twins couldn't be any more happier, y/n held her baby brother, looking at her twin who held her new baby sister as well, they both smiled, Jake and neytiri were happy they accepted the new ones with so much enthusiasm, both the elder kids adored the babies, always carrying them, feeding then and taking care of them, neytiri and Jake have to plead with them to hold them because they never let the babies out of their sight, their protectiveness doubling over those little ones, and to add to it , tuktirey joined the family in the next two years, happiness was an understatement for the bustling family right now.
Jake and neytiri tried to not keep favorites and divide their attention but having 5 kids to take care of made them take the decisions, even though neteyam and y/n were the dream kids ,that made them have lo'ak in the first place, with little to no crying and obedient as ever, eywa blessed them with lo'ak and kiri that we're complete opposite of their older siblings, lo'ak got into trouble and kiri followed without a doubt, always together and tuk was tuk, in y/n's eyes tuk could do no wrong, she was her little baby sister after all. It had been a few years now, life was simple, everything was perfect…. Until it wasn't.
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
Humans were back, they destroyed everything, again, took our newly built hometree, destroying it to the ground, and changing our lives forever.
~ y/n pov ~
It has been years now, since our former home was destroyed and those humans claimed our land without our permission, though the humans which lived with us helped us so much but they could only do little, raids became more frequent and dad's behavior changed with it, he insisted on me, neteyam and lo'ak calling him sir, drilling us into work, practices , and chores all throughout the day without a break, training was different other than that, it was like we didn't even have space to breath.
I sigh walking through the tent with 'teyam and lo'ak, tired as hell from today's work, i just wanted to nibble on some food and pass out in the hammock, sitting down near the circle i took ahold of my plate, nete' sat beside me and lo'ak on his left, kiri and dad sat side by side in front of me, mom in between lo'ak and kiri with tuk in her arms. I started eating my portion when my eyes fell on my sister who was talking and smiling with the man beside her, oh how long has it been seeing him smile like that, he never smiled at us anymore except for kiri and tuk or sometimes mom, i forgot about the food in my hand as i only stared at their interaction. I felt jealous, i know that i shouldn't be jealous of my own goddamn sister! But i was and it was gnawing at me, she gets to call him dad, she gets away with anything while i get scolded for hours for the same mistake, he took away my title of tsarekam and gave it to her because "she is more connected to eywa and can feel her more clearly" and i said nothing and happily agreed because c'mon she's my sister and i can see that she could be a better tsahik than me but it still hurts that he was the one initiating it. I was then named and trained to become neteyam's right hand in command after he became the Olo'eyktan.
Even after the other title, i just longed for my old dad, the one who pulled me close and comforted me and not scold the hell of me for it, he says "it's part of the training" or "it's my fault i should own up to it" after a mistake i did, while kiri gets the opposite. My mood just depleted more when i saw him laugh out loud for something she said, i was brought out of my trance when neteyam nudge me with his knee and i looked at him, he tilted his head giving me soft eyes conveying that he sees it too but i just shook my head, too annoyed at them to reply to him. I pushed my plate, losing my appetite all together, I got up thanking ma' sa'nok for the meal and walked out telling them I was going to feed y/i/n. I walked out to feed her/him but I didn't tell them how exactly I was going to do it. I always had my visor with me anyways.
I soared through the mountains, wind blowing through my hair but even this wasn't helping to lighten up my mood. The forest glowed beneath me, the eclipse will happen soon but I wanted to make every minute count before I have to go back. my thoughts were interrupted as a sudden gust of wind blew from my side, i knew who it was before i saw him, i just nudged him back, his laughter rang out. We twisted and twirled around each other, loops and drops forming in the air as we played for a while, afterwards we landed near a tree and let our mounts hunt for their food.
I sat with my knees tucked to my chest and my arms wrapping around them, my cheek pressed into my knee as I looked at neteyam, who was leaning on his hands, legs dangling down the edge of the branch. " You know how emotional kiri is, he just wants the good for us" he started but i just rolled my eyes at him, he's just saying that to make me feel good but even i know he feels the same, i scoffed and said " you really believe that? He has always done this! Sometimes it's like he favors her over us, answer me 'teyam when was the last time we called him 'dad'?" He stayed silent, he knew the answer well, sighing as he put his arm around my shoulder, giving me a squeeze of reassurance. I just leaned onto him, i remembered how many times we have been scolded by now ,We had bets placed sometimes between me, lo'ak and him on who would get scolded the most from dad, but it seems like lo'ak was in winning streak here. Neteyam's attempts at cheering me up were successful when he got up and jumped off directly calling for seze midair, my heart was in my mouth at his stunt, while he laughed at my surprised face,I flipped him off, I too got up determined to get back at him and chased him all the way back home, looping around him and blowing gusts of winds at each other.
I landed near the nest, laughing as i jumped down disconnecting from y/i/n, neteyam landed beside me laughing as well, both our hair were a mess but it was still so much fun we had after a long while, i turned around to walk towards our tent but my smile faded away when i saw our father standing near the tent entrance, neteyam froze in his tracks as well, yeah we were fucked, again, we both treaded our way towards him, keeping our eyes on the ground as we stood in front of him, wincing when he actually started talking " have you two seen what time it is? It's past the eclipse, I thought you were going to feed your ikrans and not fly with them!!" Grimacing at his tone, i said glancing at neteyam one last time "I'm sorry sir, it was a hard time finding the hunt, it won't happen again" he just scoffed "next time just feed what we have available, no need to go outside without my permission", my anger rose with it but i stayed silent not wanting to escalate further but then he spoke again "that's what I want, i expected better from you both, you're the eldest you should know better than this'' with that he walked straight inn, i just looked at neteyam, eyes squinted but he shook his head as in 'let it be'. I sigh defeated, as we both enter the tent, seeing everyone was in Their hammock, kiri fast asleep beside lo'ak who was snoring loudly, i got in beside him and tuk rolled onto me, i hugged her close pulling her inn, neteyam got in from the other side, pulling us all together, but sleep never came to me as i laid awake and my mind running back to the times my father scolded me again and again for nothing, it bothered me but it's not like anyone's gonna help, even mother was putting up a blind eye to it, i closed my eyes begging the great mother to grant me some semblance of sleep and she answered when i was sucked into , not a calm, but restless sleep…
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
It's been a few weeks since that encounter but life's been the exact same if not worse, it's always 'y/n you're wrong' , 'y/n don't you understand?' , 'y/n what's wrong with you?' and same towards neteyam, we are both exhausted of this and mom didn't say word against it, i tried talking to her, telling her what's going on with me and my twin but every time she either dismissed it or simply replied with "it's for your own good" and that was that, i was getting frustrated minute by minute , so was neteyam, where i showed my anger a little bit , he completely hid it from everyone else and it was consuming him, i can see it everyday how he works silently, does everything alone and has stopped asking for help even from me. Our father's neglect towards us was making us fall apart.
I tried my best to keep us both sane, well atleast for while as i think we are still sane, our flights together were cut short by our dictator, instead, we were thrown into assembly of the upcoming raid, day and night we worked on strategic management and barely got any sleep while our "sir" was busy with work "we couldn't understand", complete bullshit but staying silent was better than being grounded for asking another question.
Now with new training sets, another batch of practice was dropped on us by our father. He demanded that we practice more because we were getting lousy…..his words not mine, as if we ever got a chance to even act lousy.
»»————- ⚜ ————-««
We stood in front of our dad as he scolded us for the upteenth time now, why you ask? Well lo'ak took tuktirey out for adventure and they were attacked by some kind of animal i don't even remember now, why are we being scolded? Because we didn't see our precious little brother take tuk out as we were too busy with our training that he yelled at us to complete beforehand, so it was our responsibility to see each and every step our brother takes even when we were clearly busy with other things, it's our fault of course.
"How many times have I told you both to keep an eye on your brother but you don't understand do you? So until you both get on your senses you are grounded" he spit at us with venom in his voice, i looked at my mom for help but she just shrugged , as if this was alright ,making anger shoot through me, so this time i didn't stop myself, it was already getting dark outside the eclipse was nearing and what i said next made his eyes pop out, " if you're so adamant about us disobeying your orders to keep and eye on lo'ak, then why did you tell us to train for the 6th time today? we were doing what you fucking told us to! I don't have another set of eyes to keep them on lo'ak, he's a person in himself, he can think for himself, it's not our fault he decided to do something like that, we can't look after him eclipse to eclipse without not doing my work, which you demand from us, and if i don't do my work, you come and bite our ears off, yelling on and on how "lazy we are" or how "me and neteyam neglect our work to have fun", we haven't had "fun" in a long long time ,Sir, when was the last fucking time you held us close? Huh? When was the last time we called you 'dad'? …… Right, you don't fucking remember! Because it's been years!! Okay? I never said anything but i can't TAKE it anymore, all we do is follow your stupid orders day and night without a single protest but you think it's not enough and weigh down on us even more, I'm fucking done with this, it's better to die then live this nightmare any longer, we are tired and exhausted, so please just shut up for one moment and let us live!" I was yelling at him at this point, tears were streaming down my face, neteyam held me close, tears of his own running down his cheeks, we haven't slept in days, constantly working and worrying about the upcoming raid that he didn't even grant us permission to sleep, and i meant what i said i would rather die than live this all over again.
He looked at me shocked and surprised, his eyes trailing to neteyam who he stood by my side, backing me up because he had enough himself "she's right, sir, all we've been doing is work for you, we were training on your orders, we did not see lo'ak taking tuk out, but even if we did, she's his sister too, he has the right to have fun with her, so please we are both tired of everything, just let us go, we haven't slept in days because you want us up and running for your raid strategies and didn't even bother to ask if we are okay or not? I agree with y/n, i would too rather meet eywa then go through all this again.. please just let us be"
He just stared back and forth between us, his eyes showed no emotion, he looked cold and unforgiving and what he said next left us speechless "if you want to live under my roof, you will HAVE to follow my rules, and if doing that is gonna make you rebel against me then, be my guest, I'm more than happy if you pack up your bags and get the fuck out of my house!" and believe me when i say i never wanted to punch my father in the face, ever, then i want to right now, i recovered from my shock quickly, my blood boiling at his statement, he would rather have his kids gone then let them live like they have a life of their own? If that's what he wants then he'll get just that.
I straighten my spine and looked at my twin who had the same look as i did and we both knew what we had to do, we stormed inside the tent and started packing the necessary things we needed for at least a week, mom was crying and stopping us both from doing it, getting in between us , yelling at us to stop and listen to her, but we did not stop for one second,she had the chance to be heard and listen but she blew it off, while our father was just staring at us from the entrance with no regret of his words thrown at us, whatsoever, that's fueled my anger even more, picking up the bags we started to walk out but mom dropped down on her knees in front of us as she begged " ma'y/n, ma'neteyam don't so this, it is wrong, your sempul was wrong, I'm sorry i should have stopped this before, please do not leave us like this" she was crying even more than before now, i just rolled my eyes at her and gently removed her hand as did neteyam, we just shook our head, this was it, we had enough of this , we walked out calling for our ikrans when two small arms wrapped around my thigh.
I looked down to see tuk who was crying, her big doe eyes glassed over with tears, with wobbly lips she said "please don't go tsmuke, i love you, please, we can go make flower crowns together if you're sad, you can come with us too tsmukan" i dropped down to her level and kissed her forehead, neteyam following my moves, we pulled her in for a hug as i said " it's okay tuk tuk, but we can't live here now, one day if eywa wants us too, we'll see eachother but before that i will always miss you and keep you close in my memories ma' paysyul" she just nodded even if she didn't understand the depth of my words, she just nodded sniffing, i don't know if the next time i see her, she'll even remember me or not, neteyam said his goodbyes too and we mounted our beasts, we were about to be airborne when a voice called out "you are making a mistake, both of you, we can sort this out, you still have time, you can apologise and it would be all good" and i looked at him shocked, he had the audacity to say that we can sort this out by apologising to him when we didn't even do anything to begin with! In that moment, for the very first time, i hissed at him, baring my fangs on display for him to see, he was taken aback by that and neteyam didn't hold back from hissing either, with that we flew off, in search for a new home for us….

~ 3rd person pov ~
Kiri and lo'ak were shocked to hear that their siblings have left them for good, they both saw how they were treated but never got in between because they were too scared, but now how they wished they would have so this day would not have existed, neytiri was a complete mess, blaming Jake for driving their kids away from them, she knew she was to blame as much as Jake because y/n had come to her, tried to explain that this was taking a toll on them but she did not hear her, simply trusted Jake on their training and now this was the result. Tuk was crying in her father's arms, not knowing when she'll get to see her tsmuke and tsmukan. Jake was now regretting his actions and words, he shouldn't have been so hard on them, they were his kids! What was he even thinking? But it was too late now, why did he have to say that even when they were departing for good? The weight of the situation weighed down on him when they both hissed at him, for the first time in ever, his kids, his twins, his first born's! How did he fucked up so bad that the only option left for them was to fly away from them….from Him.
That day, all of the omaticayans searched for the beloved twins till the end of the next eclipse but they were nowhere to be found, the whole clan mourned for them for days on end, praying to the great mother for their return but still they never came back, neytiri wept for days for her babies, regretting all her answers towards them, begging eywa to give her children back, yelling at Jake for what he had done but soon accepted her kids were never coming back, they were gone…. forever and she will not get to them grow up any longer.
Jake sat near the tree of souls, memories of his dear twins playing on and on, what has he done? Will he ever get to meet them again? Would they ever forgive him for this? Tears rolled down his eyes, away from everyone he let himself cry, sob for his kids that he so cruelly shoved aside and now he's facing the consequences of his actions, he will never forgive himself for this, never, he just wants his kids back and he's ready to do anything it takes to get them back but it was too late now…..the only thing he can do is wait for them, even if it means forever, he ignited this inferno that he's burning inside of now.

I feel like I want part 2 of Mother Mo'at x Female human reader -
Also, I love your writing
Tumblr media
Hiiiiiiiiiiii~!!! As the polls shown. This will be a neytiri x reader focused type. This will also be a headcanon! NGL I honestly like it a lot! Hope you enjoy! Stxeli series

Sisterhood
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When mo'at explained to little neytiri that the human baby is her new baby sister, she felt.....conflicted to say.
The baby was cute, and was told Eywa blessed the baby to breathe their air without needing a mask.
After the death of her older sister, Sylwanin, neytiri grew to hate humans. She was like the other na'vi, believing the humans were demons coming to destroy her home.
Mo'at explained that Eywa lead her to the baby. That the little one was alone and her mother was nowhere to be found. So, mo'at took her away and become the child's new mother.
After some time, it took awhile for neytiri to get used to the human baby. She would just stare at the baby and not do much.
It was Eytukan that insisted neytiri to take care of the baby for a day since mo'at is busy tending to the people.
All it took was the cute wide eyes of little Stxeli for neytiri to accept her whole.
Soon after, neytiri would often fight with her mother on who gets to hold or take care of stxeli. Eytukan would grab stxeli in the end since neither neytiri nor mo'at could agree.
whenever word spreads of the dreamwalkers or the sky demons are nearby the clan territories, neytiri would go the extra mile to keep herself and her baby sister inside the home tree.
Not wanting to risk of the sky demons taking her sister away. Not again.
Netiri taught young stxeli everything she knew. Would make style stxeli's hair, decorate with beads and pretty flowers. Would even ask mo'at to make matching clothing!
mo'at was happy to see neytiri heal from the dark past. Please and grateful Eywa has given them a gift to forever cherish.
As time went on, neytiri passed all iknimaya, and the first person to congratulate her was stxeli.
Stxeli became a staple in neytiri's life. Someone she come to protect and love.
It never waivered with time. Even with the war, with jake sully, with the birth of her children.
Neytiri's bond with her human sister was unbreakable. Something she had come to understand to a certain extent.
Stxeli was there for everything.
For the birth of her children, the communion with Eywa, there for neytiri whenever she needed to contemplate her worries.
Stxeli was there for her, always.
Neytiri lost so many people in her life, if she were to lose stxeli, she doesn't know what she would do.

And that is it for this! should I continue with this one? if so who should I focus on next? lemme know what you think! until next time!

Fwel Tsaheylu (Broken Bond) Part 2
Warnings; slight angst
Part 1 •Part 3 •Part 4
Masterlist~
Tumblr media
What was ment to be an experience for the benifit and furthering of mine and my brothers education ended up turning into a complete disaster.
Not only did all three of us disobey father by being present on the battlefield (Albet, in my case, it was more of an uncontrollable circumstance, but i wouldnt dare say so out loud) instead of observing from the sky, mentally noting down tactics used and getting a feel for the real action of battle from afar. But we also blew just about any chance of being able to get such first hand experience like that for a long time. No more battlefields for us, i was sure of it.
I was also sure of one other thing. That father would bring all of this up as soon as we landed. It was another unavoidable circumstance of sorts. And while i also knew it would not be the worst for me but rather for the eldest of us three, i could not help feeling anxious on the back of my mothers ikran as we flew home.
I would give anything so that father would not question me when we got back. I would even let Neteyam take all the responsibility this time, just so father would not be given reason to indulge me, as i would not be the main target of his focus. Even when i used to step in so Neteyam would not have to shoulder these burdens alone, no matter how much father hated when i did.
But this time, this time was diffrent. This time i had something to lose. A secret that could be let out. With just a little prodding in the right place the dam could break. The wall could crumble and i didnt know how well i could patch it up if it did. If i would be able to keep living while hiding the truth or if it would be ripped out from under me and i didnt know if i could handle when it did.
If they find out that i couldnt fly my ikran they will think somethings wrong. The questioning will begin, the concerned expressions will start up again. The poking and the prodding for more information will double. The never being left alone or feeling like you never have the chance to properly rest or think will bear down with all its might and the burden on my own heart will increase. Nevermind them doing it out of concern as parents for their beloved daughter, I've lived this way for long enough that any thought of changing it makes me feel physically sick.
Others might call me ridiculous or overdramatic for feeling as much but its different when your the one in the position. When the spotlight is bearing down on you and you alone. When the light shines so brightly into your eyes it seers, like its trying to melt the icy cold wall of your exterior and uncover all the dirt beneath. Every speck, every morsel and not clean away an inch. Only leaving it there to gather dust and have you continue the journey alone. If at that stage you still can.
As we arrived back home, flying overhead, i heard excited shouts from the other na'vi people awaiting the war partys return. None of us had spoken a word as we flew home, collectively knowing the sh*t storm that awaited us the moment we got back. The ikrans came to a hault on the ground and mother slipped off first. She held her arms out to me to help me down.
I swung my legs over and hopped off her ikran by myself in one swift motion. I felt sort of embarrased. I felt like a child needing to be helped off their steed by their parents because they were too inexperienced to get down themselves. Yes she was well aware i could get down on my own, since i had my own ikran, and was probably just trying to baby me because i was hurt. She probably thought i had gotten a fright after what had just happened, and she would be right of course, i had been terrified, but i would not show it. I was hurt but i would not show that either.
My adrenalin had started to wear off on the flight back and my survival mode started to shut down. Now i could feel the seering pain where the uneven gashes in my palms bled, turning my hands an awful red color in the process. I felt the sting of the bruises that had started to form and show through my skin on my back from my fall. On my shoulder blades, my spineal chord and my tail bone especially.
But i would power through the pain, the hurt, so that i wouldnt look weak, so that i wouldnt look like a child who needed to be helped everytime one little thing went wrong. So that i looked strong, i looked like i could be relied upon in times of crisis. So that i looked like the brave warriors of my clan, one of the people, one of the true people, not who i was and not who i really am.
In the meantime, the youngest of the family ran up to our mother, arms out streached in welcome. My brothers and father had gottten off their own ikran and started to gather together just a little ways away. Neteyam had ridden back with our father much the same as i had done with our mother only he was sat in front by father, where as i had sat myself behind mother. From what i saw out of the cornor of my eye he was also heped off the ikran by my father like my mother had tried to do for me.
In that moment a sudden thought occured to me for the first time. I wondered if i was what Neteyam was for father but to mother. Neteyam, the first born son, taught by my father. I, the first born girl and the only one in the family who was taught by my mother. I had always assumed that her teaching me had something to do with being the first born girl but i never put two and two together until now.
And that made me see a whole new outlook on my place in the family, which in turn made a pit of unease settle in my stomach. Neteyam was the first born, the perfect son the perfect heir. I thought i lived as the middle child between the middle children. Someone not to be taken notice of. I was not the eldest nor the youngest, i was not even second rate to. I thought i was invisable to eyes looking for expectation higher than just to be a normal na'vi, one of the people.
But i was wrong. My family, my people, expected of me. They expected me to be like them, to be one of them and i tired myself just to live up to the expectation of what was considered normal. If i now had to bring myself beyond that point, i feared it would break me. It would be my breaking point.
Nevertheless, if i found my realisation came to be true i would try and try and try again. Because thats all you can do until you can try no more.
Mother started towards them, steering me in the same direction. It felt like she was almost hurding me towards my imminent doom. Tuk followed silently trailing along behind the both of us. As we got closer i clenched my hands, my long sharp nails digging into the fresh wounds that formed there not too long ago. I bit the inside of my cheek to keep from over thinking the situation but also to avert my attention away from the pain in my body, in my hands and the fresh bruises i could feel blooming along my spinal chord.
"Fall in" father said in a voice that sounded like any second it would raise an octive higher in something akin to anger. Not that i would be able to find the right word to completely describe how it felt like nails scraping down a chalkboard and just when you think its coming to a stop it keeps going.
When the three of us, Neteyam, Lo'ak and I finally gathered close enough, in one fast move father whirled around to meet us face to face. And we all knew what was coming next.
"You're suposed to be spotters" he said sounding somewhat impatient through the other emotions he portrayed at that moment. "You spot boogies and call them in"
I tried not to cringe as my fathers voice finally broke through the lid that was bearly containing it.
"From a distance!" His voice came out gruff and annoyed
"Does that sound familiar? Jesus! I let you two geniuses fly a mission and you disobeyed direct orders" he continued
I brought my head up slightly in confusion as to why i had suddenly been left out of the equation.
"Kiri can you go help your grandmother with the wounded. Please."
Kiri who came over in the middle of fathers lecture to us was regarded with a much softer tone of voice.
"My brother is wounded" she replied calmly and definitively
More urging from father for kiri who was not budging and now Tuk as well to leave brought fathers attention to me, the eldest of the three sisters.
A quick glance in my direction was all it took for him to walk over until he was standing right in front of me.
"What's this?" He asked in a flat voice, not too soft but not too loud
Confused, i followed the length of his arm with my eyes down to where his hand was pointed towards.
Small drops of dark red liquid fell to the ground just by my feet. I tried once again, like i had learned to do as i grew up, to tame the urge my body had to shuffle my feet under the intese pressure i now felt with fathers attention solely on me. His eyes bore down onto my hand stained with blood. They then shifted to my other blood stained hand and he seemed to have made up his mind before i got the chance to respond to his question.
"Kiri if you want to treat your hurt family than i think your older sister would be needing it more than your brothers would" he said turning back to face her
"Ah, its nothing, im fine-" i started but got cut off
"You always say your fine" he said dismissing the idea of my protest "Go have kiri treat you, we'll talk later"
Kiri, now also seeing my injuries for the first time, ran over and grabbed my hands to get a closer look. I flinched involuntarily at the spike of pain that shot through my hand at her action.
"Dad's right" She said now on even more of a mission than before "You need to get treated so these dont become infected! Lets go"
Tuk skipped up to us and grabbed my wrist on my other side to aid in pulling me away from the other members of our family and towards the tent our grandmother was in. Mother who stayed behind with father, Neteyam and Lo'ak gave an approving nod at me as we left them. I could vaguely make out more of what was said as voices were once again raised behind me, before i decided on blocking them out completely.
...
"Jesus Kiri cant you be a little more gentle"
"Oh so this hurts but when you were digging your nails into your palms, which already had fresh wounds on them, might i add, it didnt?" She said sarcastically. "Because i honestly doubt it hurts more than that"
I bit my tongue, feeling like i had sort of just shot myself in my own foot at her comparison.
"What's this i hear, big sis cant take the pain from a little healing herb." Spider who appeared out of seemingly nowhere like a stray cat said jokingly.
'Ah, Spider' i thought
He who had as many problems as i in this family. If you could even call him a part of it. Of course, i did, we all did, all except one. And that one person made it very hard for me to fully accept spider as part of the family, because how could i completely let my guard down when i know my mother does not feel the same, how she does not think of him as one of hers. How she looks at him, its not like how she looks at us, at her children.
I think i was the first of my siblings to realise this as it was around the time my eyes had been opened, opened because of my own problem that i could not ignore. My eyes that had been recently opened saw past the things that a person that age should not have been able to quite yet. Like my glossed over eyes filled with childhood wonder started to see, truly see, for the first time. See past the world that my parents had created for my happiness, and past the saftey that they gave me. Its like in one swift motion i jumped out of that safety net, like a baby bird jumping out of its nest before its mother has taught it to fly.
And i saw how mother looked at him, at Spider. I saw how she looked at him and only saw one thing when she did. Human. Demon.
To her he was one of them and always would be and i truly did not know if that would ever change. If even my father could not change her mind when he accepted Spider as one of his own, i feared no one could. Even when father was living proof that not all humans were demons.
I think thats how it grew. The uneasiness inside of me. In the back of my mind, hidden in the shadows fuling it to get bigger and bigger. When my eyes had been stripped clean and i finally saw through the hollow words that were 'i will always love you, no matter what' and i saw something that could smudge it. A stain, that could make even mother turn away from me.
Especially when that thing is a part of you.
As a child when you first find that out, at an age not yet able to comprehend and figure out the right path in such a situation, you could very well end up taking the wrong one. When you hide it away and therefore have no guidance on the matter, you end up taking matters into your own hands.
Hide it away so it can never be found, so your fears can never be realised. Put up a wall so they cant see through and find it hiding on the otherside, like a dog in a cage, eager to be let out, like a dam about to break, that could burst open with enough cracks.
"You zoned out again." Spider seemed to need to point out
"Its called thinking. You should try it sometime" i countered 'Wow that was such a cringy comback' i thought
But Kiri laughed as she finished up aplying the healing remedy to my wounds and proceeded to bandaged them tightly with thick woven leaves. Grandmother watched her through the process from the cornor of her eye as she worked grinding herbs for more remedies just a little ways away from where we were sat in the tent.
She was no doubt checking to make sure Kiri was doing her work as a healer properly and efficiently. We all knew how seriously grandmother takes her job as a healer and as a mentor for other young healers, just starting out who she can pass all her tips and tricks onto. To them she could pass on her special recipies that she has built up from years of being a healer, give them advice and ensure that the next generation of the clans healers would be well prepared for any future events.
Spider made a face at me, acting like he was offended and hit me lightly on the shoulder with his fist. Yes, he was my brother all right. I was sure of it. I just wasn't as sure as to if i could show it outright in front of mother. Especially with the added presure of my earlier realisation. If wheather or not mother had higher expectations of me than to just fit into the na'vi peoples version of normal, which i tried so hard to be, to the point of exhaustion, but deep down knew i was not.
I was not like the other na'vi people, i was not like my mother or my siblings, some of whom had the features of humans from father but never acted in a way that was not like the people. I was not even like father who was once a human and was even born and raised on Earth, the humans planet. Even if he was, he was now Toruk Macto, a true na'vi, perhaps even the truest given his title. I dont have their trueness, their strong connection to eywa that makes them part of the people.
I had never spent more time than i had to around Spider when i was a child. For what i thought were the right reasons, for my sake, so that i would not become more human than na'vi, so i could lock that part of myself in the deepest cornor of my heart.
As a very young child, before my eyes lost their gleem, before they were opened to the truness of the world around me, i had been just like Lo'ak. Perhaps a little more refined, unlike him i never fought with Kiri and i never tried to rival Neteyam as he did either. But i was high in energy and would often be found troublesome and in bad situations as i ran everywhere my brothers went and did as they did. Lo'ak and i were almost never separate from each other, almost joined at the hip at that time. Willingly or not.
The only time we were not to be found making all kinds of trouble together was when Kiri and i would go off on our own or when we were being taught to hunt, me by our mother and lo'ak by father. I would mess and run and play with them all, Spider included. Although as twins we definitely had our fair share of scruffs, i was alot closer to Lo'ak, to them, than i am now. Thats not to say we are not close now because thats not true.
But i guess thats just how growing up works, we tend to become independant, from our parents and even each other. Thats also the diffrence between me and them though, the people, all the people are one, through eywa. They are one big family, one safe space, where even the toughest are open with each other with eywa as their guide. This shows how human i really am, how i can hardly connect to eywa, so i cant connect to the people, i cant share my emotions with them, my burdens.
As i grew older, I would sit aside when my siblings would play with spider. I stopped going to star gaze with Kiri, i shut out anything that could possibly have the opposite effect of what i wanted.
Lo'ak and Kiri grew closer, to the point that sometimes i wondered if those two were twins instead of Lo'ak and i. Lo'ak remained troublesome while i became stonefaced and unreadable. That ended up boiling down to 'girls mature faster than boys' in my parents minds. Kiri even shared the human traits that lo'ak had gotten from father which i never inherited. Like having four fingers instead of three and having eyebrows when normal na'vi people dont.
Lo'ak and i never talked about our feelings together when we were kids. We just werent the type to do so, but i think we sort of just knew, a twin thing. Its like how i knew that his apperance and the rumors he said didnt bother him actually did. Though i was never sure if he felt this as well. Nevertheless he was still my brother, we were still twins. We shared the same blood, the same DNA, the same soul, even if we did not share all the same human features.
Kiri and i talked about everything together when we were younger but she was my younger sister, like Tuk, i couldnt put the weight of my feelings my problems onto her shoulders.
The one i would always go to when i was younger was Neteyam, mabey this was why father always came down so hard on him about the responsibility of us. To me Neteyam always felt like the one i could rely on, the eldest, who would have the answers to all my problems. He made me feel like i could rely on him which in turn ment as i grew he made me feel the weakest out of all my siblings.
Mabey thats why i pushed him away from me. That was probably it. I had no reason to push him away otherwise. There was nothing human about him that i tried to run away from. Actually he reminded me of my mother the most. Caring, loving, determined but change the circumstances and they could be ferocious.
Soon after i was all bandaged up we were joined by a grim looking Neteyam and Lo'ak. They strode into the tent and were sat down, or more like almost tackled to the ground, by Kiri immediately after arriving so she could check their wounds.
Father and mother came around as the sky was begining to darken, seemingly to have finished any other responsibilities they had after getting back. I noticed them out of the corner of my eye just a little ways away having a conversation that was just out of ear shot. I thought back to how angry father was about what happened. How angry he was at Lo'ak and Neteyam especially but how even so he had Neteyam ride in front of him on the way back home on his ikran. Almost like he was trying to shield him with his own body against anything else that might want to harm his son. He helped him down from said ikran, perhaps subconciously but nevertheless an action i didnt miss seeing out of the corner of my eye and just like how mother tried to do for me.
(Change of Pov : Jakes Pov)
"What is it?" I asked.
"Neteyam and Lo'ak try to live up to you. It is very hard on them" Neytiri replied.
"You are very hard on them" she turned from where she was looking through the opening of the tent and walked slowly towards me.
"I am their father. Its my job." I stated, reloading my gun as i sat on the ground.
"This is not a squad. It is a family." She said definitively, crouching down to where i was sitting to look me in the eye in hopes to gets her point across more.
"I thought we lost him" I said earnestly in a whisper. Able to show my most vulnerable side and inner most thoughts and doubts with the person i shared my life with.
That earned me a sympathetic look from my mate. She placed her hand on mine in a effort of comfort and knowing.
I had promised myself a long time ago that i would never again let anything happen to this family, to our family. Neytiri's and mine. Since the destruction and collapse of home tree and the war with the humans. Since i mated with Neytiri for life and since i first found out she was pregnant.
I had never felt those words be in danger as much as i did today. My promise had never come so close to falling short, to falling through my grasp on them and it would have been my fault if they did. It was my decision to bring them with us today and it would have been my fault if they got badly injured or worse in the process. And for that i never would be able to forgive myself.
I felt a pair of eyes lingering on me from behind and i turned around slightly to make out who those eyes belonged to. I turned only to catch a glimpse of my eldest daughter as she turned her head away from our direction and towards her siblings. I saw Mo'at applying a healing remedy to Neteyams wounds as he flinched away from her hand and grumbled some annoyances in the process. He took Y/n's bandaged hands in his and proceeded to look over them as if he could see if she was badly injured or not through the bandages.
Lo'ak seemed to think the same thing as me and proceeded in pointing it out to Neteyam, laughing in the process. Neteyam who i was sure hated the feeling of his younger brother, who made a point to rival him, making a fare point, turned towards Kiri and looked like he started to ask a series of questions. I assumed he was probably now trying to learn how hurt Y/n was from Kiri who had a knowledgeable perspective as a healer and was the one who treated Y/n instead of trying to magically be able to see through the bandages that encased Y/n's hands.
Neytiri followed my gaze and i saw a familiar look pass over her face as she looked at our children, a motherly one, one of love. Spider had learned to make himself scarce most of the time Neytiri was around. He seemed to have gone off on his own, walking through the camp.
"You should talk to her" Neytiri said softly, my attention was turned back to my mate.
It took me a moment to realise what she ment as my mind had been on Spider rather than what, or rather who, i had been looking for when i glanced over. It had been Y/n who had been watching me from behind.
"She doesnt like to talk" i replyed
"To you? Or just in general?" Neytiri said with an innocent smile
I frowned slightly at her. She knew as well as i did that Y/n was not the same girl she had been when she was a child. Yes, thats how it worked, i know it did. I myself was definitely not the same as i had been when i was a child. Nevertheless it was hard to know what she was thinking now. When she was younger she was just like how Lo'ak had been and how he still is now. They were both troublesome and she ran after him as he did Neteyam. You could even say that Lo'ak was almost what Neyeyam was for him but for Y/n. They both were so ambitious and energetic.
Although as Y/n grew she stopped following them around. She stopped going out late at eclipse with Kiri too, which at first i was pleased about to be honest, since so many times i had to drag them both back home and wrangle them into our hammock to sleep. Now though i wasnt so sure it was a good thing.
She doesnt communicate with Neytiri or i as much as she used to anymore either. I guess mabey at the start i just thought it was her growing up. It started from a young age but it was always said that girls matured faster than boys. Neytiri comfirmed this and i couldnt tell myself, (as even though i had been put in a diffrent body than my original, i had yet to be in the body of a teenage girl or have their mindset), so i had no reason to push any further on a matter i didnt know much about. It was slight at first, hardly noticeable but by the time she became a teenager it felt like we had somewhat drifted apart.
She may not communicate as much to myself and Neytiri anymore but at least from where i stood it seemed, in the way she acted, that nothing much had changed with her siblings. That they hadnt drifted apart from her as we did, theyre dynamic had stayed the same as they grew up. They could still depend and rely on each other as siblings, even if they still bickered and fought along the way. Of course, that was only what i saw from my perspective. I had no way of knowing if what i saw was the truth. It was just like the way Y/n's said 'im fine' , i could never really tell if it was the truth or not anymore even though it was so easy when she was a child to see what she was thinking, what she was feeling.
I know Neytiri also thought about this. I had told her about how i missed how close we were when she was younger. We would always venture out into the forest together.
The memory came rushing back to me and I remembered it vividly. We would walk hand in hand, when she was a child, her little hand wrapped around my pinky finger. Something she did since she was a baby, something that made me glad i had that extra finger. The first thing she did when i first layed eyes on her after she was born was latch onto my pinky finger and not let go like if she did she wouldnt be safe. That moment changed my life, my first babygirl, and i was gonna make sure id protect her. Id protect all of them.
I gathered myself and my thoughts and decided that it was time to make do on the words i said earlier.
"I said i would talk to her after she went with kiri to get her wounds treated and im going to now" i said, noticing Mo'at had finished with Neteyams treatment and had left the tent.
I felt Neytiri's gaze on me as i stood up and made my way over to our children. Coming into earshot of them they seemed to have relaxed since earlier, now messing around with each other as usual. I was glad that they didnt seem to be too badly affected by what happened on the outing earlier. I didnt want to ruin their time together by butting in but i had said i would talk to Y/n and i couldnt put it off any longer for fear i might actually end up changing my mind.
Its weird, you can have fought in many battles and even wars but still be more anxious to talk to your teenage daughter, when youre a parent. Even if you try to give them the safest and happiest childhood possible there are things that you cant always see. Things that are hidden on the outside and concealed within. Because no parent is perfect, you can never get things right all the time, its just not possible, no matter how hard you try. You can only try your best. Thats all you can do and thats all you should expect from them in return.
"Kiri go over and help your grandmother treat the rest of the wounded, take your brothers with you, they can make themselves useful" i urged so i could have some needed alone time with my eldest daughter.

Electric Love
Tumblr media
To write this I was inspired by some scenes from Neytiri and Jake. I offer an apology if some sentences are not understood. English is not my first language.
Summary: Neteyam falls in love with Y/N, the eldest daughter of Tonowari and Ronal.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Neteyam wanted to hug someone like his father to his mother.
He wanted to share smiles like Lo'ak and Tsireya did.
He even wanted his gaze to soften like Tonowari with Ronal.
The good news? He had already found that woman.
Bad news? None. To him, you were perfect.
Problem? He had never felt so shy and insecure about starting a conversation with someone.
"Bro, do you like her?" Lo'ak teased, but stopped when he saw his brother's frustrated face.
“Yes, I like her a lot. Why?"
"I don't know. I think she's a little rough for you."
"Oh, come on! You're not the nicest person."
Lo'ak was right. Friendly wasn't a word that came to everyone's mind when they described you. Several times he had seen you curse others. In your defense, you only did it when people disobey or misunderstood Olo'eyktan orders.
“They are all skxáwngs!”
"Language!" shouted Tonowari
"Yeah! Yeah! Got it! Why aren't you in your position?!”
"Put the spear down!"
Being the future of the Metkayina Clan made you had too many responsibilities, including taking care of your siblings.
There was no problem with Tsireya, but with Ao'nung…
"You have two options: you tell mother and father what you did or I swear that I will use you as bait with a family of akulas!
“Tsireya help me! She's going to kill me!"
Neteyam found no help in his younger brother, so he spoke to Tsireya.
"Sure! What is your question?"
The young Metkayina saw how the boy's hands began to shake.
"Are you o-
“HowcanIgetclosertoY/N?!”
"What? Sorry, I don’t understand you"
 “Oh let an ikran bite me! Neteyam is in love with your sister." Lo'ak said
"Oh Eywa! Neteyam! Neteyam! That is so cool!” Tsireya was jumping with happiness.
"Yes, but, I don't know how to get close to her!" Neteyam put his hands on his face
“You don't have to worry. My sister can be a nice and funny. You will be…” Tsireya fell silent immediately when she saw the confused face of the brothers.
"You are hiding something"
"I'm coming, mother"
"She's not talking to you"
“The Tsahìk can't wait”
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
"My father wants to talk to your eldest son," Ao'nung said.
Neteyam and Jake followed the boy until they reached the home of the clan leaders. Tonowari got up as soon as he saw them.
“You have nothing to worry about, your son did nothing wrong. Sit down"
You snorted
"Is this necessary? Father, we have enough warriors in training-
"Jakesully's son has a right to learn our ways and he needs to join that group" Tonowari interrupted
Neteyam tried to keep his hands from shaking because he was sitting next to you.
“Your eldest son has shown good progress. So I think it is a good that he learns the ways of our warriors. I have chosen my eldest daughter to be your mentor in this and it is decided!”
“Don't fall in love” Ao'nung murmured, who was behind his father. You tried to hit him, but Tonowari stopped you.
"I'm going to gouge out your eyes!"
“Kehe! Y/N!”
"Wiya!"
“I thank you for this opportunity, sir. I swear you will not regret allowing me to follow the ways of warriors” Neteyam interrupted the siblings' fight.
You looked at him. You had seen the Sullys from afar, but now you had more detail on the older one. For some strange reason, you found it very attractive that Neteyam's hair was long and that he moved through it too nimbly.
“Tomorrow. On the beach”, those were the last words you shared with him that day.
 “You will spend time with her. You can make her fall in love with you!" Kiri said when Neteyam told Lo'ak and her this at dinner time.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
You noticed that Neteyam was nervous, deep down you felt sorry for him and remembered when you entered the group of warriors.
"I can't promise you they won't bite and they can be a little hard at first, but they are good"
Neteyam was shocked by your words.
"Thanks. Really, thanks"
"Look, I'm not the patient mentor you'd expect. It's learn fast or die and the second option is not available” You continued walking. Neteyam smiled a little. Yes, that was the Y/N he was waiting for.
  "Mawey, Mawey!" You said to the young Metkayina as they tensed when they saw Neteyam. He recognized Roxto in the crowd and he gave him a small smile.
The first conversations were about how to control a fishing gun. They were all sitting around Y/N and two other warriors.
“They are Tenzú and Zila. They concluded their ceremony at the same time as Y/N” Roxto explained in a low voice.
Neteyam tried to pay attention to Tenzu's instructions, but he was too distracted. You wore two thick braids that held the rest of your hair up, your tattoo covered your arm up to your neck, from your right ear dangled what appeared to be the fang of an animal, and your arms had purple and blue beaded bracelets.
Oh Eywa he was so in love!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
It was hard keeping up with you and even more so getting your attention, but Neteyam never gave up.
The first time he got your full attention was when you were teaching him how to throw spears. You settled very close to him. Neteyam could feel your breathing. He stopped looking ahead to focus on the sight of the beautiful woman beside him. You made eye contact with him. Your frown softened when you came across those green gems.
"You don't have ugly eyes," you whispered.
Neteyam smiled “Thank you. Yours are interesting too."
You moved away from him and turned his head to the front. You two continued with their task with a smile on their faces.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Day by day, the interactions with Neteyam became longer and the laughter appeared.
“I turned like this and felt such a breeze!”
“Yes and I dived faster”
“Too fast” Neteyam said as he smiled to hear your laugh.
The conversation at dinner continued without noticing the looks of their families.
“They seem to get along well,” Tonowari commented. Ronal nodded without leaving her serious face
“Being with him is good for her,” Tsireya said.
"Yes, she didn't yell at me today" Ao'nung replied.
“Our son is in love,” Neytiri told Jake with a smile on her face.
 “I think she likes him too. It's obvious" Kiri said.
"That's my bro!" whispered Lo'ak
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Neteyam managed to complete the path of a Metkayina warrior. His tattoo covered his shoulder and half of his arm.
"Don't be too scared" you told him when you saw that they were halfway through the tattoo. Neteyam smiled at you.
"I'll try"
You smiled at him. Neteyam thought you looked so beautiful. Your hair was loose and you dangled an ornament with sparkling seashells.
“So quiet ” Neteyam said as you entered an underwater cave. They had escaped from the party.
Their legs were submerged and the water glistened from the tree of voices in the background.
“You are a Metkayina now. You can make your spear with the wood of your home…” you placed your hand on Neteyam's chest and paused for a moment as you focused on the ground and your smile fell “and you can choose a woman. We have very beautiful women. Zila is a good hunter."
"Yes, she is a good hunter" you looked up from him and Neteyam's reaction was to laugh at your reaction
"Oh come on!" he took your arm when you tried to move away from him and settled you in his lap.
"Y/N, I already chose" Neteyam kissed your forehead before speaking "but she must also choose me"
You smiled and laughed softly.
“She already did it"
Neteyam kissed you.
 “Oel Ngati Kameie, Ma Neteyam”
“Oel Ngati Kameie, Ma Y/N”
Both spent the time talking until dawn.
youtube
Thank you for reading!
Kehe: No!
Wiya: Dammit!
Mawey: Calm!
Oel Ngati Kameie: I see you

↳ anticipation and reassurance ↲
Tumblr media
➘ summary : Neyetam and his wife are expecting a baby but some concerns arise in the mother, don’t worry Neyetam is there to make everything better
➘ neyetam x reader , avatar the way of water x reader
➘ a/n : I’ll be writing stories like this for most of the characters. Everyone’s aged up so don’t worry their won’t be no young mommy’s and daddy’s in these fics for an example as I’m writing this I’m picturing neyetam as a early 20s late 20s kinda dad and yes I’ll be using this gif for pretty much all the stories lol ooh and I’m using a na’vi translator for some words but I’ll place the English version next to it
Tumblr media
Among the lush and vibrant forests of Pandora, Neyetam and his wife (Y/N) walked hand in hand. The world around them was alive with color and beauty, mirroring the love that they shared. The Na'vi couple had faced many challenges together, but their bond remained unbreakable.
As they strolled through the forest, the topic of conversation turned to a matter that had been occupying their thoughts for a while now. (Y/N) was expecting a child, and both parents-to-be were filled with a mix of excitement and apprehension.
"(Y/N)," Neteyam said softly, his voice carrying the gentle cadence that was so characteristic of the Na'vi. "I've noticed you've been a bit worried lately."
(Y/N) looked up at her husband, her vibrant eyes reflecting a hint of concern. "It's just... I can't help but worry about our child, Neteyam. What if they come out with five fingers like me? What if they're picked on?"
Neteyam's expression softened as he brought his free hand to (Y/N)'s cheek, his touch gentle and reassuring. "No matter how many fingers our child has, they will be perfect, (Y/N). Our love will always protect them."
(Y/N)'s lips curved into a small smile, and she leaned into his touch, finding comfort in his words. "You always know how to make me feel better."
Neteyam chuckled, the sound blending harmoniously with the natural world around them. "I may not have all the answers, but I know that our child will be loved and cherished by both of us, no matter what."
As they continued to walk, the breeze rustling the leaves above, (Y/N) couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and reassurance wash over her. Neteyam's unwavering support and love filled her heart, dispelling the worries that had clouded her mind.
"Thank you, Neteyam," she said softly, her voice carrying a mixture of gratitude and affection.
He pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, his touch tender. "We're in this together, (Y/N). Our family will be strong, and our child will grow up surrounded by love and acceptance."
With Neteyam's words as a soothing balm, (Y/N) found herself embracing the journey of motherhood with renewed determination. The Na'vi couple's love would be the foundation upon which their child's life would be built, a life that would be woven into the vibrant tapestry of Pandora, where acceptance and unity flourished among the people and the world they called home.
As the months passed on Pandora, (Y/N)'s pregnancy progressed, and with it, a sense of anticipation and joy settled over the Na'vi couple. Their everyday life continued in harmony with the rhythms of their environment, while Neteyam took on the role of provider and protector for his growing family.
(Y/N) found herself embracing the changes in her body, supported by the Na'vi community around her. She continued to engage in her daily activities, participating in the rituals and practices that had been a part of her life long before she and Neteyam had started their family. The vibrant forests and lush landscapes of Pandora became her sanctuary, a place where she felt connected to the world around her and the life blossoming within her.
Neteyam, as a devoted partner and future father, took on the responsibility of providing for his family. He ventured into the wilds of Pandora to hunt and gather, ensuring that they had enough sustenance to sustain them. His skill in navigation, his understanding of the ecosystem, and his connection with the environment allowed him to navigate the challenges of survival with grace and efficiency.
Each day, Neteyam returned to their home with the fruits of his labor, his face adorned with a proud smile as he presented his offerings to (Y/N). She would greet him with a warm embrace, grateful for his dedication and care.
As the due date drew closer, the Na'vi community came together to celebrate the impending arrival of the new life. Rituals and blessings were performed, honoring the bond between (Y/N) and the child she carried. The interconnectedness of the Na'vi people with their environment was reflected in these ceremonies, as they recognized the importance of nurturing and protecting new life.
As the sun cast its warm glow over the Na'vi village, (Y/N) worked alongside Mo'at, preparing healing materials for the tribe. The air was filled with the soothing scents of herbs and plants, an atmosphere of serenity that contrasted with the imminent excitement that was building within (Y/N)'s own body.
In the midst of their tasks, a sudden gush of water and a sharp pain took (Y/N) by surprise. Her eyes widened, and her breath caught as she realized that her water had broken. Panic surged within her, and she turned to Mo'at, her voice tremulous. "Mo'at, my water broke!"
Mo'at's expression shifted from calm concentration to swift action. "Come, (Y/N)," she said urgently, guiding her towards one of the healing beds. "We must get you to a healing bed right away."
(Y/N) bit her lip, tears stinging her eyes as the pain intensified. "Mo'at, I can't do this without Neteyam."
Mo'at's gaze softened, her maternal instincts kicking in. “We will kìte’e for him, txìm for zoplo, focus on your breath. We kin make sure ngenga ulte the baby are safe." (“We will send for him, but for now, focus on your breath. We must make sure you and the baby are safe.")
As Mo'at moved to summon help, (Y/N) clung to the bed's edge, her fingers curling into the fabric as the waves of pain intensified. She closed her eyes, tears slipping down her cheeks as she cried out for Neteyam, her voice echoing through the village.
Neteyam, who had been in another part of the village, heard the urgency in (Y/N)'s voice. His heart raced as he sprinted towards the healing area, his mind filled with worry and determination. He arrived just as Mo'at was attending to (Y/N), her voice demanding that he leave for the moment.
"(Y/N)," Neteyam said, his voice laced with urgency and determination, "I'm here."
Mo'at turned to him, her eyes stern as she spoke in a commanding tone. "Neteyam, you cannot be here right now."
Neteyam's gaze locked onto (Y/N), his determination unwavering. "I'm going to be here every step of the way."
(Y/N) looked up at him, her tearful eyes connecting with his. She reached out a hand, her fingers trembling. "Neteyam, please..."
Neteyam's heart ached at the sight of (Y/N)'s distress. Without hesitation, he extended his hand, and their song cords connected, intertwining in a symbolic gesture of unity and support.
As (Y/N) continued to labor, the connection between their song cords allowed Neteyam to feel everything she was experiencing. He could sense her pain, her determination, and her strength. Their bond grew stronger with each passing moment, an unbreakable link that mirrored the love and connection they shared.
Time seemed to blur as the two of them faced the intense journey of childbirth together. With Neteyam by her side, (Y/N) found the strength to push through the pain and uncertainty. And as the cries of their newborn child filled the air, their connection deepened, a testament to the power of love and unity that defined their lives on Pandora.
As the cries of their newborn baby filled the air, a mixture of relief and overwhelming emotion washed over (Y/N). Mo'at gently placed the baby in (Y/N)'s arms, allowing the new mother to cradle her precious bundle of joy.
Tears of joy welled up in (Y/N)'s eyes as she looked down at her baby's face, her heart bursting with love. The baby's fingers were delicate and small, and as (Y/N) counted them, she realized that her fears had been unfounded – the baby had five fingers on each hand.
Beside her, Neteyam gazed down at their baby, his expression a mixture of awe and silent contemplation. (Y/N)'s heart skipped a beat, and she glanced at him, noticing his distant gaze.
"Neteyam?" she whispered, her voice tinged with concern. "What's wrong?"
Neteyam's gaze remained fixed on their baby, his grip on the infant firm yet gentle. He took a deep breath, his voice soft but filled with an intensity of emotion. "Nothing is wrong, (Y/N). They're perfect."
(Y/N) blinked in surprise, her heart swelling with warmth at his words. "Of course they are. Our baby is perfect in every way."
Neteyam turned his gaze to (Y/N), his eyes shining with an indescribable tenderness. "No matter how many fingers they have, they're our child, and they're perfect."
Tears welled up in (Y/N)'s eyes once more, this time from the sheer depth of emotion she felt for both Neteyam and their baby. She reached out to touch his arm, their fingers brushing against each other in a silent display of unity.
With a smile, (Y/N) leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Neteyam's cheek. "Thank you for reminding me, Neteyam. Our family is perfect just the way it is."
Neteyam's gaze remained locked on their baby, a small smile gracing his lips. "Yes, (Y/N), our family is perfect."
As they basked in the joy of their new arrival, the Na'vi couple realized that the number of fingers their baby had was inconsequential compared to the love, unity, and strength that defined their family. In the embrace of Pandora's natural beauty and the love they shared, they embarked on a new chapter of their lives, ready to face whatever challenges and joys lay ahead as a family united by love and acceptance.

Your friendship with Neteyam is not exactly.. per say, a friendship. Its what you would technically call it, since you both gave it no other said title. But we all know you guys aren’t just friends, lo’ak knows, kiri knows, spider knows, jake and neytiri know, hell, even tuk knows. Everyone acts oblivious as it is.
There are times where you wonder what your relationship really is, anything but “just friends” comes to mind, some specific memories take you back and give you scary realizations.
For instance, that one time when the whole crew was hanging out together in the forest, our designated hangout spot, you showed up a little after everyone else because you had errands to run, and Neteyam had saved a spot just for you.
“hey guys”
“y/nnnnnnnn” tuk smiles at you and runs towards you with her arms outstretched, signifying her desire to be picked up and spun by you, you do just that and laugh with her. “What’s little girl doing here with the big kids” you question teasingly, knowing Tuk dislikes being called a little girl.
“y/n, finally bro , i almost thought you ditched us” lo’ak says dramatically and spider and kiri laugh, you walk to the group with Tuk in your arms as you slap the back of lo’ak’s head, Tuk jumping out of your arms to go lay in Kiri’s lap.
You look at neteyam, he hasn’t taken his eyes off you since the moment you came into their vision, he’s leaning against a tree, sitting with his legs spread quite a bit, manspreading was a trait neteyam got from his father, and it was so hot.
He pats the space between his legs, and you happily oblige. “hi” you whisper when you look up at neteyam, his chin resting on your head, his arms encircling your figure, thumb rubbing sweet circles on your thigh. “hi sweetheart” he flashes you his infamous smile.
Or that one time when you went hunting for rabbits with him in the forest, you just couldn’t set your aim right, it was getting so frustrating you almost cried. But hey, you have neteyam with you, don’t worry!
He helps you fix your posture, his chest pressing up against your back, he’s so close you can feel his breath on your cheek, his deep voice rumbling in your ear that tells you to focus makes you do quite the opposite. How could you possibly focus when he’s this close to you? Your insides are exploding with butterflies, your lower belly warm and your lip almost draws blood from how hard you’ve bitten it.
Somehow you end up hitting a rabbit with your arrow without even realizing and only realize the situation when you hear neteyam’s laugh and him congratulating you. “you got it y/n!!” (mf that was all you)
This man really has no idea of the effects he has on you does he?
You don’t have to think hard of moments like these with neteyam, they rush through your mind like a film reel. Countless.
No one really thought much of it when they saw you and neteyam having moments like these. No one questioned when he called you sweetheart, or his love, or beautiful, or some sort of nickname on a daily basis, not even you. All waiting for that one particular moment where you both realize its love and make it official.
Which seems so likely to happen today, the tension is thick through the roof with everything that just happened.
You’re patching him up because of course he just got into a fight with some dingus because lo’ak can’t handle a fight alone for shit.
“y/n, gentle please” neteyam lets out a low hiss as you dab a piece of cloth on the cut that bleeds on his jaw.
You’re angry with him, he knows that. And god, he’s angry with himself too, but what’s he gonna do if his baby won’t talk to him?
He doesn’t know what to say, anything to ease the tension, so he decides to go with
“are you upset?” he looks at you with soft eyes
you move his face around to find any other cuts to deal with, his chin between your fingers “so upset, you don’t even know” you hold back a grin at his quiet voice.
“im sorry y/n, lo’ak would get his ass handed to him if i wasn’t there” he sounds so desperate, which he is, for you.
your heart swells, you wanna play.
you put on an act and look away from him, huffing in faux anger.
“y/n please” he whispers, looking at you with pure distress in his eyes, you think you can even see tears. He’s so hard to resist right now, how is he not catching onto your game?? Or maybe he is playing along?
You decide you’re done. With two things.
Torturing him, and torturing yourself.
You stroke the apple of his cheek with your thumb, swiping at the tear that dare fall from his eye “take it easy neteyam” he nods eagerly, he’ll listen to you until he dies.
You sigh, and clean up the cloth and medicine and get ready to leave, standing up but neteyam grabs your wrist and pulls you down, onto his lap, his arms circling your waist as he holds you close to him.
His forehead rests on your collarbone and you stroke his hair.
“okay, nete look at me..” he obeys.
you cup his face in your soft hands, he nuzzles against them and you lean forward, you look at his eyes and he’s already closed them. God!!! He’s so cute you could squeal!!!
You smash your lips against his and his hands automatically bring you closer, your legs straddling his lap as you run your hands through his hair, grazing at his nape.
Neteyam pulls away to look at you for a split second, and you look so so pretty he just can’t hold his tongue, “i love you” he whispers against your lips, three words meant for you and you only. He goes back to kiss you before you could reply, he gives you a few open-mouthed kisses before you mewl into his mouth and he crumbles.
Neteyam groans and he attaches his lips to your jaw, giving you gentle kisses that trail down to your neck, “i love you so much y/n” you wonder where he learnt this from.
“i love you neteyam” you whisper as you feel yourself grow more impatient as time goes.
he kisses you again and you feel him smile into the kiss, your chest is warm, neteyam intertwines his hand with yours and it becomes sloppy quiet fast.
you’re both a mess, whining into each others mouths , you’re so deep into it you don’t even realize footsteps getting louder and louder, eventually you are pulled out of your fantasies when you hear neytiri address her son right before she catches sight of you both in this sinful activity, you pull apart suddenly and scramble to get off his lap, failing miserably as neteyam seems opposed to the idea of letting go of you.
“neteyam! fuck!” you whisper-yell and shove your face into his shoulder, his hands still on your hips as he sputters to explain to his mother what she just witnessed
Neytiri coughs.
“mother i was just- we were- “
“making out?” Neytiri chuckles and shakes her head, making her way out after grabbing the plate you used to fix neteyam’s wounds.
“neteyammmmmm i can’t do this right noww” you cry embarrassed into his shoulder and he shudders at the thought of his mom knowing what you guys were doing. He laughs soon after, snaking his hands around your waist as he holds you in his lap
“i don’t know this isn’t all that funny nete” you grumble and shake your head, “poor neytiri”
“no.. poor neteyam, i didn’t get to finish “making out” with you” he says, putting up fingers meant to imitate quotation marks to mock his moms words.
you slap his arm gently “as much as i was enjoying, i don’t wanna risk getting caught again.. ewya forbids its tuk next time.. i would never even kiss you again”
he gasps, putting a hand over his chest to fake his hurt and you giggle at his expression
he kisses you again, and again, and again until you have to put your hand over his lips and tell him to stop in between a fit of giggles, he laughs with you “just kissing you enough so i don’t die when you refuse me later” you grin so hard your cheeks hurt, but its so worth it.
You hear lo’ak , spider , kiri, jake , and tuk cheering from outside, “GO BIG BRO” “is y/n my actual sister now?” “ugh finally they stopped beating around the bush” “thats my son, on his lap?? thats literally us neytiri!”
Oh.. Neytiri told them. Great!

Of course I don’t want to talk to you! I can still feel the sting of your hand on my ass, Neteyam!
Mmm, don’t act so hard to get, my love. I know you like it, such a fucking freak. I’m just showing my appreciation for what’s mine. And this ass? Is mine. Fuuuck, just let me take you someplace private, so I can fuck you from behind, and watch that ass slap against my cock. oh come onnn! don’t be stingy with it. I want it so fucking bad, now. I’m practically on my knees for it…

The more I watch ATWOW the more I’m reminded that Neteyam is a child. They’re all children. All the Sully KIDS. You are especially reminded that Neteyam specifically is a child honestly as he’s dying. He panicked a telling his dad he wants to go home. He’s a kid that just went into battle and died because of it he has no idea what’s happening and he’s panicked and the last thing he sees is his parents.
I think we all forget that Neteyam is still a child because he’s so mature in the movie. But that’s because he’s an older sibling. That’s just what happens when you’re the older sibling we just seem mature. We have since we were like 10 but he’s still a kid.
With the assumption that Na’vi age similarly to humans, Neteyam is 15. Like- that’s young. Maybe it’s because my younger sibling is around that age, but dude, that’s a whole child.
