For people who dont actually have blogs but just accounts and dashboard view pages. It really doesnt take very long to actually make a blog on the site
just go into your blog settings
Switch on “enable custom theme” and click “edit theme”
Use the default theme if you want. It’s easy to navigate and edit
Add some images on there to the header and the icon, and maybe and a title to fix things up real nice. Maybe play with the accent colors too
i’m gonna talk about adding links in your description and adding blog pages, still very easy but slightly more advanced customize type stuff, under the cut if anyone doesnt know how to do those but wants to
When you do your description, you can use HTML to give you more options than just straight text

You can also add pages to your blog when you scroll all the way down the options
You can give a page a url relating to your blog, and you can have a link to it show up on your page with the other standard links
So then whenever anyone clicked “FAQ” they would get linked to a newly created FAQ page.
Though you can also use it to redirect people to specific tags already on your blog
I do that on my blog with a few of my tags.
if you were to go on my blog and click “DRAWS” you’d get sent to “https://gin-juice-tonic.tumblr.com/tagged/Pbbth“, which is my art tag
In the editor it wont display your tag, it will just display whatever page you create (like below)
but in practice when you click the button on the blog it will take you to the tag you want

To new followers--
Hey so like, over the past month or so, I've been hit by about 500 new followers, which is a very sudden, massive spike, and while I'm sure most of them are bots, I really can't be sure which are and which aren't.
To this end, if you see this and you have a mostly empty blog, PLEASE, I'm begging you, please make your blog not empty somehow so I can tell if you're a real person, otherwise you do run the very real risk of me blocking and reporting you for being a bot, because I really really don't want bots taking advantage of this blog.
Anywhere here's a short list of things you can do to make yourself not look like a bot:
Change your icon. It can literally be anything. Modify the default icon somehow, use a screenshot from whatever show you like, take a picture of your carpet and use that, use some art. Anything. (Although I'd advise against anything that might make you look like the other kind of bot blog.)
PLEASE change your title. I have now learned what "Untitled" looks like in many other languages. A change in title and maybe even description will go a very long way !!!!!
Change the color of your in dashboard blog from the basic white background. (In edit appearance.) Set a blog header image. (If you really don't have any images in mind, this blog is full of images. Pick anything.)
Turn on custom theme in the blog settings!! This didn't even used to be an option and was enabled by default and now it isn't.
Hide your likes and follows. Most bot blogs don't hide these. Unfortunately most newcomers don't hide them either.
Reblog or post a few things. It can literally be "im a lurker sorry please dont block me". A good thing to keep in mind is to try to reblog things that aren't related or are specifically fandom related. Bots don't do that, but I have seen bots that will reblog three (3) related posts or like three (3) related posts (from people they don't even follow) and that's that. If you do ONLY this, that's enough.
You don't have to do all of these. Literally even a few is enough. Just show some sign of life. PLEASE.
Since I've seen other people have success with this in the past, here's some free icons and headers you can use:

This may not be a personal blog, but it IS my baby and these bots exist specifically to exploit the blogs that they follow, so don't help them out be letting them hide amongst you.
Because I don't want this post to be an annoyance, I will post a new palette each time I do reblog it, and I will delete old instances after sufficient time has passed. Please bear with me.

Welcome to The Trans Advice Blog!
I created this blog years ago to connect with the trans community and hopefully offer some advice or words of positive to those you can. I just wanted to make a post talking about what you might find here.
1. Asks! Please feel free to send them. Whether you’re just telling me about your day, asking for specific advice, telling me about your name, submitting photos of yourself or your pets, or pretty much anything else you can think of! As long as it’s appropriate feel free to say whatever you like.
2. Queer art! I really really want to use this blog to promote queer artists that post their work here so feel free to tag me in your posts if you’d like me to reblog them.
3. Signal boosts! If you have any sort of fundraiser, informational post, or anything you think needs to be spread around please submit a post or send and ask. I’d love to help anyone I’m able to.
4. Reblogs! I try to queue as much as I can so I’m able to have a consistent flow of posts. If there’s anything I reblog that poses a problem or comes from and problematic source please let me know.
5. Nsfw! I’m 20 years old and may from time to time post things that are a little more vulgar. It won’t be porn, it won’t be overly explicit, but sometimes I want to post about kissing fags or something. I’d say I’ll keep it relatively pg-13 but if you’re not comfortable with stuff like that this might not be the place for you. Also I reclaim a lot of slurs for myself, I never use them on people I don’t know without consent but if you’re not okay seeing this you shouldn’t follow me.
6. Overall I just want this to be a safe space for those who need it. I love posting educational things and positivity! I’m always happy to take requests for types of posts you’d like to see.

Hihi, i hope my questions arent bothering you but I really want to get into evillious but im still confused so here are some questions i want to ask (ʃƪ＾ω＾)✧*。
1. Do you only translate the songs or do you also translate the novels?
2. Where do you read the novels?? I tried searching on google but only the pride arc showed up.. :((
3. Lots of tiktokers who are part of the ec fandom recommended to check out your blog because it helps them understand better, im still a bit confused so please give me some tips to learn more abt the lore🫶
Oh, wow. I'm not on tiktok, I didn't realize people recommended me over there.
1. I have translated almost everything there is to read about Evillious with the exception of the Daughter of Evil manga. So, that's the novels, short stories, album booklets, fanbooks, some creator interviews, and I also "infomine" some of the things I don't translate (ex, I've been reading mothy's personal blog and posting the occasional summary on what's in it).
2. Yeah, unfortunately Google is not very useful here. I don't know how well you know how to navigate tumblr or if you're using a browser or the mobile app, so please excuse me if I say something you already know--I have two different directories with my Evillious translations on them.
This >>[here] (It's linked under "Evillious" in my blog header) is the first one. It's a blog page that lists everything by medium and is pretty comprehensive. It includes not only Evillious stuff (and creator commentary for it), but also things related to mothy's newer series called E.A.T. It's my understanding that most mobile users can't access blog pages, though.
This >>[here] (it's linked in my "pinned post") is the directory I have set up for mobile users. Rather than listing things by medium, it lists Evillious content by the year it was released (the novels are in italics). This is my recommended reading order of the series (though it's more important you read the novels in order--a lot of the songs you can pretty much listen to in whatever order you want, just know that after a certain point they might not make as much sense without the novel context). Note that this particular list has only the Evillious stuff, and not the E.A.T. songs or creator commentary (save for what I've translated in the fanbooks).
3. In addition to all that, I have made a basic, spoiler-free guide to give a basic rundown of the series' setting and concepts for anyone who isn't interested in reading all of the novels. That's also linked in my pinned post, but I'll link it >>[here] too.
And, in general, feel free to ask me questions about anything you're still confused about. I genuinely believe that like. 90% of Evillious is actually very simple and easy to understand, but I do acknowledge that there is that 10% that's not.

About this Blog, its Author, and how to Navigate it.
Shalom, and welcome to my intro, which will be constantly updated. Check out my sideblog where I just repost pretty pictures.

First off, I'll start with a quick rundown of myself / this blog before getting into the heavier details:
— You can call me Carver or Neshama (נשמה), my pronouns are she/him. My gender / sexuality is just whatever (or queer), and I am an adult.
— I practice egalitarian Conservadox Judaism.
— I am Hungarian (however I live in the USA), and I am white.
— I am autistic and have ADHD.
— I am a double major and double minor undergrad student.
— I do use the label of "Demonolator", but in truth I am just a Jew who works with shedim. I do not worship them, and solely worship HaShem. My counterpart sheyd is Livyatan.
This is not really a personal blog, it's more informational and educational. Its focus is Judaism, however I will mention other areas of my academic interest, mostly linguistics. I will also speak on pressing topics (BLM, indigenous rights, queer liberation, etc.) which are all important parts of my Judaism, especially the idea of Tikkun Olam.

This blog will hold many of my already written, in-the-works, and future informational "articles". From entries on different demons to simple guides to understanding aspects of Jewish life, I am committed to spreading educational content that is anti-appropriative and based within scholarly understandings of religion.
In order to set the stage for what you can expect from my blog, here are some "rules":
— I am not required to answer any asks or DMs. I have a very busy life outside of the internet, and also often don't have the energy for social interaction. If I answer, it is because I have a personal interest in what you have said and the energy to follow through on that interest.
— I have a no blocking policy, which means that I will not block most people who I disagree with, even vehemently, on some topics. These include being anti-Zionist (criticizing the Israeli government is completely fine and I do it as well), and other such people. Please do not interact with me. You can still consume all my educational content as the last thing I want is to limit anyone's ability to learn, just don't harass me.
— My no blocking policy does NOT extend to Nazis, Kahanists, those who are anti-Palestine, Messianics/"Jews for Jesus", racists, LGBTQphobes, sexists, Islamophobes, etc.
— Anyone can ask any question whatsoever. The only stupid questions are those that are left unasked and their answers assumed. This includes anyone who wishes to disagree with me on anything.
— My DMs and asks are always open! I love to answer questions, and I promise I don't bite.
— Feel free to correct me, ask for elaboration, or ask for sources whenever.
I base my understanding of religion within tradition and history, but I understand these things to be constantly evolving and adaptable. I am not a fan of new-age beliefs which appropriate Judaism, Hinduism, and countless other practices to no end. To make things simple, I will establish these beliefs:
— The Divine are not our friends. They are our mentors and guides which want nothing but the best for us.
— Demons and angels/G-d do not hate each other.
— G-d is not inherently evil, and neither are "Abrahamic" religions.
— Interacting with the Kabbalah or Qlippot as a non-Jew is highly appropriative of Judaism.
— Lilith is closed.
— I do not believe that divine beings are romantically or sexually interested in humans at all.
— I do not believe that humans can be reincarnated divine beings, the children of divine beings, etc.

hi! it's me, nana / koinotame!
if you're wondering why i went inactive and then deleted, my mental health kind of (really) tanked... and i ended up deleting my blog in a fit.
it's getting better bit by bit though! and i've been wanting to get back into writing (and talking abt my unhinged/yan ideas i can't really talk to anyone else abt), so. here i am! for now, at least
as for my previously posted writing, there's some good news and some bad news:
the bad news is that everything i wrote directly into tumblr (99% of snippets, a lot of ask answers, most exact content warnings, etc) is gone. the slightly less bad news is that iirc there were very very few posts of mine that weren't reblogged by anyone at all, so they're probably still out there? feel free to send them my way if you find any and i'll rb them. @/midnight-remembrance also has reblogged a couple of them! there's a couple snippets i have saved in some places, so i might repost those on my own as i find them, but there's very few of those.
the good news is that anything longer (proper writing — oneshots, hcs, yan alphabet responses and so on, prompt responses, etc) is safely backed up where i originally wrote it! some of it is also on my ao3, which is the same username. feel free to send me asks about any you'd like to see again and i'll repost them! i might not post them if i feel too embarrassed about/wish i hadn't posted them, and i might rewrite/heavily edit some of them, but i think there's only a handful that fall into the former category and none of them were particularly popular. either way, no harm in asking!
as for some other updates:
i'm a little divided on whether i want to keep posting explicit nsfw or not so we'll see. i might just keep it out of main tags. idk yet. regardless of what decision i make, this blog is still strictly 18+ and that will not be changing.
since we can reply from sideblogs now, this is a sideblog and not my main now. why? sometimes i prefer to check up on a blog frequently instead of following them for a couple of reasons, but this felt very awkward when they were following me. so this being a sideblog relieves a bit of that stress. if this makes it sound like i have severe brain worms, it's because i do. to that effect though, if we interact every so often feel free to consider us mutuals regardless of whether or not i'm actually following you =w=b
tbh i.............. am not really into genshin anymore. i might post about it here and there but i just Do Not (really) Care about it anymore. scara aside to some degree i also have no clue what's going on post inazuma lol
whatever projects or commitments to writing or etc i had made beforehand. i forgot all of them so just pretend that never happened ok? ok
i'll also probably be posting more sparsely, but we'll see!
and (this is obviously the most important bit) i have no clue where i put the mika edit so we're back to my og classic pfp. the header scales terribly and is temporary, please ignore that too
all that aside, as a treat for anyone who sees this in time,
*roughly 6/22 done, but fairly quick to write. roughly one paragraph per character (sneak peek line: "it's not too hard to be discreet with his unique magic when someone really deserves to fall face down a flight of stairs. or three. oopsie. odd they don't remember it, huh? well, he had nothing to do with that.")
**more realistic isn't quite the right word(s)... probably won't post this one to the main tags regardless. won't be doing all of the characters (only important/relevant ones) and won't be writing more about/expanding on, so this one is just like. a one off experiment sort of thing. overall less violent than most takes on the au + leans a bit (or lot, depending on how you look at it) more on the religious aspect of self aware aus. i wrote a couple paragraphs a while ago, then rewrote them, but i'll only finish/post them if there's interest for it (sneak peek line: "aether has deluded himself and cast You aside entirely on his own—and when You finally grace them with Your real presence, zhongli is certain aether will be the first to fall from Your grace.")
i have one other new thing immediately ready for posting that'll get posted in a couple of days but that one's pretty silly

Welcome to the seventh annual Merry Pitchmas Gift Exchange!!
Right, I’m sure most of you are used to this speech by now, so here’s a tl;dr, but for those of you that are new or need a refresh, check under the cut!
TL;DR:
Reply to this post to take part. Reblogs will not be included.
November 25th is the cut off date to sign up.
Posting begins on December 24th - not a day before! And you have to have your gift finished by the end of December.
You don’t need money to take part - just a dash of creativity and the drive to want to do something.
Manips, videos, fanfic, and comics are just a few examples of the things you can do!
All pairings are welcome, but I strongly encourage all participants to ANONYMOUSLY message the person they have to ask questions about which they might prefer.

You know what isn’t fun? Putting time and effort into giving someone a gift, only to not receive one yourself. Luckily, there are some lovely, wonderful people who offer to help out and dedicate even more of their time to coming up with something for those people.

Hello!
My name is Zev and I am a writer and artist in my 20s. I'm Jewish, disabled, and trans, and I like to include themes and representation of all of the above in my writing. I am white, allistic, and transmisogyny exempt. I use they/he pronouns.
I grew up assimilated and disconnected from my Jewish heritage, and am learning about and reconnecting to my culture partially through writing Jewish characters. (I am Ashkenazi specifically.) I would absolutely love to connect with other Jewish writers!!

ೃ⁀➷ Drabble games are opened on occasion. You can send in whatever you like but make sure to follow the rules of each game. When sending in a submission, please be aware of how functional it is as in the past, some people have sent submissions that are far too complicated for a small drabble or don't work at all. Failure to follow the rules of a game will result in the ask being deleted.
ೃ⁀➷ It may take time for a drabble to be done, there is no set time on when things will be written and it is all up to inspiration. This goes for all my writing, I try to be as quick and efficient as I can be but I do spend a lot of time working on these so I want to make sure they are as close to perfect as I can get. I apologise in advance for any waiting you will have to endure.
ೃ⁀➷ Do not pressure me into writing something. Whether it's pushing to get a series completed or wanting a certain scenario, these will not be tolerated. You are allowed to show your support and excitement for something but there is a difference between "can't wait for the next part" and "when are you going to finish x chapter?"
ೃ⁀➷ As a growing writer, I am always experimenting with new ways of bringing stories to life. This can include but is not limited to: different tropes/AUs, lore, POV, reader insert, OC, and genres. Every story will contain details of what they contain so if you don't want to read something, you are warned at the very start.
ೃ⁀➷ I do not write for any members of Monsta X, married idols, idols involved in scandals, or anything that makes me personally uncomfortable.
ೃ⁀➷ While this account is a safe space for anyone who is over the age of 18, I will say that I am someone who writes based off of myself and my worldview. I do not write mxm, I try to avoid mentioning race, and I write majority fem characters. There is the odd occasion where my fics can be gender-neutral but for transparency, I do want to state this. I struggle to write things I cannot connect with, one day I may be able to but as of right now, if you are wanting specific aspects, I can recommend writers who do these amazingly instead.
ೃ⁀➷ Some of the stories I write may be triggering for some audiences. I try my best to trigger warn as much as I possibly can but there may be some things that I do not deem serious enough to warn or may not see as a trigger myself. Feel free to let me know of anything that I miss.
ೃ⁀➷ Any story that is rated [M] (mature), please automatically assume that it contains any of the following: drinking/smoking, swearing. I will not be warning about these.
ೃ⁀➷ I know that Tumblr is home of the 'reader-insert' community but as I have stated in the past, sometimes a story is better told (and easier to tell) with an OC. This may mean fully describing and naming the character or this may be as simple as only describing them. To those who may complain about this, please do remember that most books that you'll read in your life outside of fanfiction are all OC characters.
ೃ⁀➷ Some stories may switch between different character POV, these will now be stated when it changes. Some may be written from the first, second or third POV, this always depends on what is best for the story.

Hi, long time viewer very bew poster here. so im starting a whump blog. But im kinda new to the whole consept. What do one post? How does this work? Who what when which whaaaaa? How do one reach the comunity and whats the rules?
Hi there!!! Oh that's very exciting!! Congrats! It's a lot of fun having ones own whump blog. Very freeing to be able to go batshit crazy about whump in the safety of your blog.
Okay so you're questions:
First of all, you can post about whatever you want!! it really is as simple as that! Whatever kind of whump you enjoy, post about it! You can blog writing scenarios, stories and fanfics, gifsets, and tropes that you've seen and enjoyed. You can create your own writing, gifsets, edits, video clips, etc or you can reblog things others have made. You can just ramble incoherently about your favorite characters you like to whump or your favorite tv or movies scenes that give you whumperflies or what tropes you love or tropes you'd like to see more of. You can share things you like but maybe don't see in the community. Maybe you love this one scene but nobody talks about it. Tell us about it! The world of whump is wide open.
We don't have steadfast rules here imo but we do have a few things to keep in mind:
When you post make sure you tag properly. Tagging is an incredibly important aspect of being a part of this community because we blog about a lot of potentially triggering things. So it's important to tag properly so that those who are triggered are are uncomfortable about certain topics can block those tags and stay safe. Tag for things like noncon, blood, flashing gifs, box boy, gore, rape, etc. When in doubt, tag it. Better to be safe than sorry.
Tagging also helps people find your content as well. For example if you make gifs, use the #whumpedit tag so people who like whump gifs and easily find you. Use the #whump tag for anything pertaining to whump.
Be kind!! There is going to be something you see that you disagree with or are uncomfortable with. That is inevitable in this community. Whump is a vary wide genre and we all like and dislike very different things. So if you see something you don't like, just keep scrolling. Block blogs if you have to, no one will be upset. Keep yourself safe by blocking tags you don't like. Just be kind and remember the age ole internet addage of Your Kink Is Not My Kink and That's Okay.
Be respectful. Not just to your fellow members of the community, but of the things you blog about. There are tropes that need to be handled with care and respect. It never hurts to do some research if you plan on writing to learn about how people who actually deal with said trope feel.
Some helpful tidbits:
We also all tend to make an introduction post when we first start our whump blogs. Just a little something to say hi and what you enjoy whumpwise and stuff like that. We like to them reblog your intro post to say hi back and that'll help with getting you introduced to the community. It's a great way to meet people.
Don't be afraid to send messages, reply to people's posts, or go through a blogs entire archive reblogging things either! We all love that kind of interaction! And everyone is super friendly in this community.
Make sure to change your icon from the default and make your icon, your blog description, header, etc a little personalized. Make it your own. If people see default everything they tend to block the blog thinking it's a bot. Plus it's very fun to personalize the blog.
