i'm actually going to cry.

maybe the reason Anya suddenly revealed her secret to Damian, of all people, is because she felt guilty about knowing his deep desire for familial love. he didn't mention it, but it was painfully obvious in the way he looked at her with this soft, sad smile:

anya is so strong. i would've cried and hugged him 😭

but lo and behold, anya wasn't so strong after all. after trying so hard to keep her ability a secret, she told damian anyway – and without hesitation too.

crying... this panel is everything to me

personally, what Anya did was equivalent to a hug. maybe she felt bad... maybe guilty... maybe she wanted him to feel less alone... maybe she pitied him... maybe she sympathized... or maybe she felt it was the right thing to do. but in her own way, she definitely did it to make him feel better and less alone :')

maybe i'm just yapping. but the two of them are so similar in so many ways. Damian despite being part of a real family longs for real connection. and Anya, despite loving her family so much, secretly wishes what they had was truly real – a family not held together by a mission or conveniences, but just that, a simple family. they both just want a home man

this chapter was perfect in so many ways. these kids make my heart hurt, and i'm so scared yet excited for what Endo has in store for the next arcs <3

So watching the newest Spy x Family, I see everyone squealing over Uncle Franky (don’t get me wrong I am too) but I also think his outsider’s perspective is kind of sad. When Anya is waiting for Yor and Loid to get home, the line he says there struck me.

“Hey, do you like your mom and dad?”

Like that’s a weird question to ask a young child who, hopefully, should love their parents. But Franky I think is acutely aware that they aren’t Anya’s real parents and the Forger family is fake. Franky has worked with Twilight for years, knows him very well and has presumably seen him make and drop identities like one would an article of clothes. We’ve even had Franky directly accusing Loid of being too clinical, focusing only the mission. I think Franky believes that once Operation Strix is completed, that he’ll leave and Anya and move on to the next assignment.

I think that idea has colored a lot of Franky’s interactions with Anya. Yes, he’s also a big kid and wants to run around and be silly. But I also believe he’s trying to give this girl a sense of happiness and family presumably before she’s dropped off at the nearest orphanage once her usefulness is outlived. Like we all know Loid is catching feels but he’s a Good Actor and it might not be readily apparent to his coworker. Idk it must be so sad for Franky to watch this little family interact, to sweep up a child so clearly desperate for love and family in a spy operation, only to realize it won’t last.

#spy x family #sorry didn't mean to throw angst into the sweet pile that was todays episode #but im gonna be real this isn't my first time Ive had this thought about Franky #We've seen him accuse Loid of being callous - albiet in a usual comedic manner #but Franky absolutely knows how good Loid is at pretending to others to get what he wants then disappearing #Yor probably would be okay like very upset for sure but she's a grown adult she can handle it #Anya is a young child who has probably never had such loving interactions before #Anyone can see how devoted she is to her folks #and Uncle Franky is watching all this like seeing someone standing on a rug not knowing it can pulled out any second #I do feel that adds a bit to his own playful relationship with Anya #make the hurt sting less #anyway i'll see myself out

So I made a post a while ago that has become relatively popular. Which was of Unasaka Miri from "Buddy Daddies", Anya Forger from Spy X Family, and Eri from My Hero Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) would be friends if they met and I'm glad so many people agree! Then I thought of Inuzuka Tsumugi from "Sweetness and Lightning", and thought of making it a quartet but then someone brought up Kotaro from "Kotaro Lives Alone", and then I thought of Kotoshi Naru from "Barakamon" and then I thought of Sakuragi Yaeka from "Yakuza's Guide to Babysitting".

You know what? LET'S MAKE IT A CLUB!

(I would also like to point out that the first three girls that would've made a trio, all had either parental issues or major life issues that resulted in a change in lifestyle)

Reasons to Love Twiyor ♥

I love that this scene is so sweet, but just thinking about the background of the scene that we didn't see!

I always think Twilight after losing his mom lost all the affection she had in his life. No one cared for him anymore and he cared for his welfare and had to survive on his own until he could enter the Westalis army to fulfill the only objective that kept him sane.

And here is Yor, who probably lifted him up in her arms (like a xD princess) took him to a bench in a park, and placed his head on his lap, tossed him in both coats and started lulling him with a children's song. She just wants to take care of him, protect him and be genuinely loving! And this is very curious, because Yoru is always very shy about the idea of physical affection. But being somewhat drunk, and not remembering the misunderstanding of a while ago, helps you not think about her insecurities and shows how sweet she want to be with Loid (✿◠‿◠)

While Twilight is someone absent from love, Yor is someone with many desires to love (ɔ◔‿◔)ɔ ♥

I don't know about you, but I feel like if Twilight and Yor someday have a real couple life. She will be so sweet and affectionate with him, to embrace him at night, caress his hair....And she wants to help him relax when he feels a lot of stress and can't sleep well at night ❤
