Say hello to my just-obtained Kalosian turtwig, Melva! She will be my emotional support 'mon from now on. She's so young! I got her post-hatching, so she's pre-trained already.
I am diagnosed with anxiety disorder and autism, and that's how I managed to be qualified for this little gal. She's so mellow! She won't be a battler, and so she'll require wearing something at all times while we're out to let people know that legally, she cannot fight.

i really didn't wanted to talk about this but this has come up recently but my ex boyfriend Remmy Ansel apparently has a discord and Instagram account and well he's been calling me out as his quote on quote psycho girlfriend (since he's aware I'm trans) but Remmy pic of his fursona below)
this jerk off has been harassing me again...*sighs* just give context he broke my heart for another guy even after he told me he loved me and never would break my heart...yet in the end he did...he's the reason why I did tried committing suicide way back since he drove me to it. even tho I have a boyfriend now in my life who truly loves me and cares for me it still haunts me and my boyfriend Tom always has to reassure me he loves me and never would break my heart like this bastard did...so that's just to give context over this person and what kinda damage they did to me mentally

#782: Faculty Tower Breakdown
This one post is going to be small but very special to me. ^ ^
For quite some time, months I'll say, I've been wondering about how the castle's inside matches its outside. Where are the windows of professors' rooms? How to spot less obvious locations from outside the walls? Not at all a full comprehensive guide but still might be a helpful tip to the Slice of Life authors or anybody curious out there.
We'll start with a tidbit of my House — The Ravenclaw Tower.
The post has obnoxious amount of pictures.
Apologies for funny handwriting.
As you can see, the tower has floors for each year but only 4 of the 7 are accessible in-game. Floor plaques are also differently placed (6th year floor being reserved for the 5th year students) and you'd have to use imagination to fit in the bathrooms.
Ravenclaw Tower overlooks the Faculty Tower. Roughly put together, the most notable locations of the Tower are these:
To put it all into a perspective that is likely to be seen in-game:
the view from an archway leading out to the Entrance Hall courtyard.
As you can see, first floor staff gathering could oversee the Quad courtyard through the erker— oriel window. Professor Sharp has one as well but his view might be obstructed and limited due to its height.
Here's what our lovely Potions master could see through the oriel window:

Hogwarts is easy to navigate outside by its windows. Each location has different kind and form of windows — or non at at all but that bit is for another day (if anybody is interested in a little continuation).
The wall of five closely put triple lancet windows seen conjoining the Clock Tower is the passageway seen outside the Hospital Wing:
Windows of the Hospital Wing are also very distinct by the sheer size and match the ~30 degree angle of the outer wall:
With a little bit of Ansel magic, we can with all certainty tell that the Prefects Bathroom is directly underneath the Hospital Wing:
And is located on the same level as the lower part of the passageway to the Clock Tower.
Knowing this, we can go down the helix, that is around the centre part of the Tower, and found ourselves here:
Down the stairs are Sharp's private quarters (if you scroll up to the Quad Courtyard pictures you'll notice 'balcony'; I was referring to this place specifically) and the same wall Hospital Wing, Prefects Bathroom and the Faculty Tower Staircase are facing.

Bits of magic again to better understand the room's placement; interesting thing to notice: 1) Sharp's fireplace doesn't have functioning chimney at all; 2) his art room is directly above his bedroom; 3) the lower oriel window is the Faculty Tower's hall, meeting hall? Whatever; those two out-of-place windows are the ones on the floor where you can find Professor Onai and Professor Ronen's rooms.
Speaking of which.
Rooms of said professors 1) don't have any windows, 2) share a wall, 3) and both share a wall to the corridor leading to Gryffindor Common Room:
If you remember, Professor McGonagall could hear Gryffindor partying behind the wall of her chambers. 🤭

If you think something doesn't add up on that wall, it is. The lower part isn't displaying the helix on the right correctly; the windows should've been following the curve of the stairs. I would attach the pictures proving it but only 30 are allowed per post so. .—.

Getting Myself Out There
With my little turtwig with me, and my 2 persian gals in their pokeballs, i think I'm finally doing it, you guys.
I'm venturing out to become a professional, roaming trainer. I've gotten rid of everything i don't need, packed up what i do need in a backpack, and given everything i wanted to keep to my mom just to make sure it's all safe. i trust her, she won't lose anything. For all that she isn't the most perfect person in the world, she does love me still.
I don't envy whoever gets this shoddy studio apartment after I leave it.
it won't be easy. but i'm 27 now and I'm tired of wasting my life dreaming!

i have Megan Zane's "Sekhmet's Servant" devotional book!
Sekhmet's Servant: Kemetic Daily Devotional. The author, Megan, is a friend of mine whose art I love. I knew her even before I decided to leave behind my Christianity. It arrived earlier today; I ordered it from Amazon yesterday. It...has a lot of typos, lol, but then again, it was self-published via Lulu, so I can't be too critical. It took Megan 2 years to finish! All the images in it are pretty gorgeous. I told her I'd do the writing prompts throughout the book on both this side-blog and on my Wordpress blog.
So here is the first prompt!
What has drawn you to the Egyptian gods?
I've always liked the goddess Bast. Initially it was pretty shallow -- She is a deity closely associated with domestic cats, and I was always strongly the designated cat-child in elementary school. I don't quite remember when or where I first heard of Her. It just somehow feels like I've always vaguely known about Her? As I was in the transition of abandoning Christianity in favor of paganism, I was highly intrigued by Her, and it prompted a friend of mine from the TDF community, named Lore to ask me if I would like to join the House of Netjer AKA Kemetic Orthodoxy beginner's class. I was supposed to attend it with them during early 2023, but Lore had some mental distress to deal with around then, so I ended up doing the class by myself. I told everyone in KO that Bast had also led me there because well, I think in some sense, She had, to be honest. (KO's former Nisut, Tamara Siuda, had received an ironclad promise from Bast and Anubis that They'd personally guide people to her organized religion, and I believe that's what Bast did with me.) I might've sent a resignation letter to HoN/KO not too long ago, but it was definitely my stepping stone, and I am not entirely bitter about the experience. I learned a lot there, but it ultimately wasn't where I belonged.
Anubis, Anpu, Yinepu, whatever you wanna call Him, is another one I sort of have the sense I've always known about? It's so odd. I guess it's just that He and Bast are pretty popular in the modern day throughout media? Bast has quickly become a "comfort deity" of mine, the one I, by default, turn to when I don't know Who else I should. On a more general level, though, I am currently drawn to Kemeticism due to how much sense it makes to me, so much more than the Jesus fandom (yes, I'm calling it that) ever did. It blends well with science, and even with evolution, just ALL the things that always niggled in my mind as being more sensible than Christianity's harmful and literal creationism. I have always needed religion; you get me? I have that sort of mind. I tried identifying as an atheist to mimic my father for a time growing up; it always felt hollow and pointless. There is a supernatural/paranormal spark in my life that I cannot deny, especially after specific experiences I had as a teen and, most significantly, the painful demonic haunting I went through at age 22 in 2018.

Jaune: Uh, just a little bit. Say, where's Blake?
Yang: She was reading this morning, but she said she'd be down. Oh, and speak of the Grimm.
Blake: Good morning. (Sits down) Did everyone sleep well?
Pyrrha: I slept just fine.
Nora: Same.
Ren: Nora kicked me.
Jaune: I kind of got to bed late, but I slept pretty good, and woke up just fine.
Blake: I see. I also slept well.
Yang: Uh, are you sure you're not still sleepy?
Blake: No. Why do you ask?
Yang: Well, you're sitting awfully close to Vomit Boy.
Blake: Hm. So I am. I'm not invading your space, am I?
Jaune: No, not really.
Blake: That's good.
Ruby: (Thinking) Huh... She is sitting pretty close. But if Jaune's okay with it.

Nora: (Thinking) That's weird. Why didn't he talk that much with me? Wait, what was I- Oh, right! Closet corner!

Jaune: Hm... (Opens arms, Rest hands behind head) Ah, well, my morning was kinda off, but I feel like I'm picking up.
Blake: That's good.
Yang: (Thinking) Why'd he bring his arms up like that? Heck, why were they crossed in the first place?

Jaune: (Rolls up sleeves) Yeah, and I don't know how they got inside, but they did, and I'm itchy.

Blake: No. See?
Jaune: (Takes wrist, Turns) Huh... Guess not. Oh, but you do have something here.
Blake: Where?
Jaune: On your neck. Do you mind if I...?
Blake: Sure. (Lifts chin)
Jaune: Yeah, see? It was just a... little... (Flushes) Anyway, we should get back to the others and-
Blake: Jaune, wait.
Jaune: Y-Yeah?
Blake: Do you... like me?
Jaune: I, well, uh...
Blake: I'm not asking for anything big and complicated. Simply yes or no.
Jaune: Y-Yeah, I do like you.
Blake: I see. (Pecks his cheek, Blushes) Then I guess the feeling is mutual.
Jaune: Yeah, I guess it is. Oh, and Blake?
Blake: Yes?
Jaune: (Pecks her cheek) To, uh, get you back.
Blake: (Smiles) That's fair.
Ren: (Watching from afar, Thinking) I knew it.

#FICTITIOUSCORE WINNER !

Faint cheering and screams of excitement filled the arena as the curtains revealed the star-studded stage. Standing in the respective order that they performed in were the contestants as they anxiously awaited the results and occasionally leaned over to speak to themselves or the other groups. In front of them, side by side and in the center, stood the hosts; Chloe Kwon to the left, Ansel in the middle, and Kaleina to the right in an attempt to let her stand closer to her group.
"Hello, FICTITOUSCORE! Tonight, after watching these several talented idols take on the stage and wow the crowd, it's time we finally reveal who the winner of the first FICTITOUSCORE trophy is!" Ansel eagerly takes the mic first as Chloe holds up the award and shows it off to the everyone.
Kaleina nods along with his words. "That's right! Behind us stands the first winner to kickoff the music show and we couldn't be more thrilled to see who you guys-" She then pointed at the cameras, "Voted for!"
"The idols behind us did an amazing job at giving us a taste at what to expect from here on out. I hope you all know you did a great job and that we're looking forward to more performances from you guys in the future," Chloe peaks back at the contestants and then back to the crowd with a smile.
"Without further ado..." Kaleina starts, exchanging a look with her fellow hosts before they all faced the same direction towards the camera in front.
"Here's your FICTITOUSCORE winner!" They all cheer together.
The jumbotron showcases all the artists on stage before the screen widens, showing off the victors of the night.
"Krush!" Chloe and Ansel say it together while Kaleina looks stunned. Chloe hands her the trophy and bows alongside Ansel.
"Congratulations to Krush for taking home the first trophy of the season. We're looking forward to your future activities and cannot wait to see you return on the show!" Chloe claps for her co-host as does Ansel takes the mic to begin the closing.
"Thank you for watching! Tune in for next month's performance! Goodbye for now!" All three hosts smile and bow to the cameras, the last few moments seen being Chloe and Ansel patting Kaleina's back and giving her side hugs.
