LUNARIX is a six-member fictional girl group that debuted on July 17, 2023 under ANGELICO Entertainment. Rookies thrown into the UNFORGIVING landscape of the entertainment industry, Lunarix stands out amongst the rest with their UNCONVENTIONAL and QUIRKY sound and concept.
Originally known as "ANGELGIRLZ" during their pre-debut phase, the group faced immediate scrutiny. Their debut announcement quickly followed the disbandment of Angelico's top-performing groups, VENUS and DeepDive. Accusations arose, claiming that ANGELGIRLZ copied Venus' "VENUS PROJECT" with their pre-debut project, "The Angel Project." Angelico chose not to address these allegations.
The negative reception toward ANGELGIRLZ intensified when their leader, Angel, was exposed as a school bully. The group's pre-debut single, "Chu~♡," received a poor response from the public. Following this setback, Angel was removed from ANGELGIRLZ, and her contract with Angelico was terminated.
On their debut date of July 17, 2023, Siyeon, a former DollsWorld member, joined the lineup, completing the current six-member configuration. Despite this addition, Lunarix still struggles to gain widespread public affection and often becomes the target of online hate trains.
Siyeon, the leader of Lunarix, was born on May 13th, 1999 in Daegu, South Korea, to a bustling family of six siblings. Siyeon's path to stardom seemed destined from the start, as she was born under a Waning Crescent moon.
From a young age, Siyeon displayed a big personality and an undeniable need to be on stage, setting her apart from her siblings. Her innate charisma and talent caught the attention of many, earning her the title of the "survival show princess." Siyeon participated in numerous survival shows, consistently making it to the finale but never securing a spot in the final group. Despite this, she remained a beloved contestant among viewers.

In 2019, Siyeon finally made her official debut with the group DOLLSWORLD under Stormedia. However, the group's journey was short-lived, with only two comebacks before silently disbanding as all the members terminated their contracts.
Undeterred by the challenges, Siyeon embarked on a new chapter in 2021 when she joined Angelico Entertainment. Alongside her commitment to training, Siyeon continued to participate in various survival shows, showcasing her resilience and determination.
Siyeon became Lunarix's new leader, main singer, and visual after Angel, the group's previous leader, was removed before their debut. Siyeon's strong singing and attractive appearance brought fresh energy to the group and contributed significantly to its identity.

She grew up in a home filled with music, as her father was a copywriter and her mother was a journalist and part-time singer. They provided a rich environment full of musical inspiration for Liala to grow up in.
Liala grew up in a musical family. Her mother sang beautifully, and her father played the guitar in his spare time. This upbringing instilled in her a deep love for music. As an only child for much of her life, Liala was often pampered by her parents. Because of this, her friends and family referred to her as "Princess."
During her school days, Liala's fascination with becoming an idol began after she and her friends watched a performance by 4minute on YouTube.
Liala was a natural leader who took charge as the head of her school's dance team. She loved performing and showed her skills and passion to everyone. One day, she caught the attention of Angelico Entertainment and they accepted her into their agency. Liala dedicated herself to training and her exceptional talents quickly set her apart from others. She left Thailand to train in South Korea and while she was away, her parents welcomed another baby girl into the world, making Liala a big sister.
Liala spent three years practicing and improving her singing and dancing skills. Finally, she made her debut as the main singer and lead dancer of Lunarix.

Taerin has always kept her childhood a private matter. While there isn't much information available, some internet detectives have uncovered some heartbreaking details. When she was 5 years old, Taerin lost her parents and older brother in a terrible house fire. She was then adopted by a couple in Seoul. She has openly stated that she prefers not to think about her childhood, and the people who raised her are no longer a part of her life.
Taerin struggled with her studies and social life, but found solace in music. At just 15 years old, she began producing music on SoundCloud, showing that she was talented at making beats and melodies. She adopted the name SEEU and started making music for lesser-known groups and Korean hip-hop artists. This helped her grow up fast as she navigated the producer scene.
Taerin faced challenges when she decided to pursue her craft independently at the age of 17. It's unclear how she caught the attention of Angelico Entertainment, but this was a turning point in her life. Under Angelico's guidance, Taerin worked on her image and kept most of her past hidden.
She'd debut in Lunarix as their main rapper, lead vocalist, and producer.

Evie confronted the challenge of distinguishing herself among her siblings, but found her true strengths in dance, singing, and gymnastics. Despite not being great in academics, her mother was pleased with her gymnastics talent.
Evie was a successful gymnast at the age of 17, with a good chance of making it to the Olympics. However, she decided to leave her gymnastics career behind and go to Korea. She wanted to train with Angelico Entertainment, a prestigious training company.
Evie's pursuit of her dreams had consequences. Her mother didn't support her and cut off all communication, calling her a disgrace. However, Evie remained in touch with her siblings.
Evie was a talented performer in the Korean entertainment industry. She nearly secured a spot in the popular girl group VENUS and worked on other projects with Angelico Entertainment. After much anticipation, the time came for her to make her highly-anticipated debut.
When Evie joined Lunarix, she took on three roles: Main Dancer, Lead Singer, and Rapper. Her versatile talents added an extra flair to the group, making their performances even more dynamic and captivating.

Yoomi continued her schooling online and thrived in her role as one of Angelico's top trainees, demonstrating her resilience and determination.

She was inspired by her four sisters who were all accomplished dancers themselves, and she aspired to be like them. Navi was influenced by K-pop bands such as Wonder Girls and Miss A, and started her trainee journey under JYP Entertainment.
Navi first appeared on the K-pop scene through the reality show SIXTEEN where she competed to become a member of the group TWICE, but unfortunately didn't make it. She didn't give up and later participated in Produce 101, where she ranked fifth and went on to debut with I.O.I. Navi won the affectionate nickname "nation's baby" for her performance.
Navi's career came to a halt after I.O.I. She was expected to debut with ITZY, but a disagreement over her contract with JYP changed things. She joined FLOWERBANK Entertainment but faced challenges with mismanagement of her solo career and several promised group debuts that never happened. This period led to a decline in the momentum gained during her I.O.I days.
In 2022, Navi made a significant move by joining Angelico Entertainment, marking a turning point in her career. Debuting with Lunarix as their main dancer, center, and lead rapper in 2023.

★ ⠀⠀ ! ⠀⠀ Since earning her first real paycheck, SALEM has invested heavily into her collection of bass guitars. These are only the four that she uses most often and there are many more in their studio space in Superbloom's headquarters. Despite having so many, she knows them like the back of her hand and can easily deicide which one needs to be used while recording or even playing live. The one with the STICKERS is her prized possession, having been with her since the beginning of THE BIG GLOOM.
★ ⠀⠀ ! ⠀⠀ Compared to the rest of the members, JUNYEONG has only became interested in drum kits recently. He never really cared about drums before they started making it big but that's what you get for spending years resenting your position in the band! He shifts between these two main kits and has been looking into some other additions for them recently. In the middle, there is the Plastic Flowers logo as well!
★ ⠀⠀ ! ⠀⠀ SERIN loves her aesthetic guitars, especially that third white one. She is easily the most picky member of her instruments and only owns a few of each style. Compared to Salem, she also struggles with choosing the perfect choice and works very closely with her producers to ensure the best sound comes out. She has gotten better over the years but she has no real interest in collecting them either. It's about the look more than anything for her.
★ ⠀⠀ ! ⠀⠀ DEURIM switches between a grand piano, organ, and keyboard easily. She had actually learned how to play the organ from OLIVER when she joined as it was needed for songs like THE CHAIN and PSYCHO. However, she plays the keyboard most often as its the easiest to bring around to music shows and on tour, forcing them to sacrifice some of their music for functionality.
★ ⠀⠀ ! ⠀⠀ Resident musical prodigy, OLIVER owns a lot of different instruments, which have been used over the years on their albums and live performances. Most recently, he bought an accordion for his 2024 New Years Resolution of learning how to play and fills in any musical gaps for the band. Most of the times, OLIVER just plays the rhythmic guitar and violin, with the rest being saved for special occasion.

As the winners of the season, they were given a permanent contract with Superbloom Media, who would replace Dreamus Company as the new distributor. BELLADONNA would be formed in the first round of the competition and remain together for the entire duration, consistently beating any group that they went against by a significant margin. Their cover of U-GO-GIRL by first generation icon Lee Hyori would go viral in South Korea for their stage presence and new take on the song, projecting them into first place and leaving the other groups to fight for second. The group is composed of FIVE members: SARANG, WONHUI, HAENA, EULSUN, and YULLI.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀ Being under the same label as the NATION'S SONGBIRDS, Plastic Flowers, comparisons between the two bands began as soon as the show finished airing. Leader KO SARANG would say ... " Despite this, Superbloom Media confirmed that they would be working with Plastic Flowers' lead singer OLIVER SONG and new in-house producer and former member of Lush DALLAS LINWOOD as they " continued to refine their sound and discover new mediums ".

They took the fourth quarter of 2023 to write and produce their first mini-album CURSE OF CAPULET and the title track Burn Alive, which was described as a "rock track exploring themes of identity, longing to recognition, and the desire for power and validation". As the most watched season of Superband, with 4.6% viewership for the finale alone, many are looking forward to BELLADONNA's debut and are excited to see what they bring to the table.

𖥻 𓂃 ࣪˖ 𖦹 ۫ BONES AND ALL is a South Korean idol band managed by DARK GARDEN CO. a subsidiary of Flowerbank Entertainment. The band originally debuted in 2016 but fell into obscurity in 2018, becoming inactive and presumedly disbanded. After a five-year gap in activity, the group reformed with a new lineup in 2023 with the members: JUWON, HARUAKI, CHERRY, WEI, and JIHO.
𖥻 𓂃 ࣪˖ 𖦹 ۫ KANG JUWON was born in 1994 in Busan, South Korea. Juwon originally entered the entertainment industry as an idol, training for five years to debut in a boy group called "Broken Line," in 2016 under Stormedia, which was met with little success. Juwon would find some success with Broken Line when the band sub-unit "Call Again?" debuted in 2018. Tragically, Broken Line's career would be cut short in 2020 when the group's maknae, Kitae, would commit a murder-suicide, leading to the group's disbandment. Juwon would leave Stormedia the same year, becoming an actor under another broke company. During this time, he would begin to date superstar Jung Yoonah, who allegedly helped him get his foot in the door with Dark Garden Company. His acting career would be put on hold in 2022 for reasons unknown to his fans. He would then go on to be the first member of Bones and All to be announced.

Cherry experienced a lot of mistreatment from managers and higher ups while in Dolleyes, many of the older people around her taking advantage of her want to be famous. Dolleyes only seemed to be popular on social media, as the group often struggled to sell out even small venues. Due to their lack of success, Cherry would leave DOLLEYES in 2017 and become a soloist. Now 18, the label she was under pushed for a more "mature" image, giving Cherry a "good girl gone bad" concept she was never truly comfortable with but went through with anyways. Cherry would collect a small yet cult-like fanbase with her spotty solo career. Cherry would toss all that to the curb, however, when approached by Kim Iseul to join Bones and All. Desperate to be famous and to get back in touch with her musical roots, Cherry would join BNA in 2023 for their rebrand.

OSOKOYA would gain much success, to the shock of the four-member band, slowly becoming leading figures in the Japanese rock scene. However, Haruaki would leave the band in 2021, becoming a soloist for a short period of time before abruptly relocating to Korea. His fans were shocked by this sudden change but due to their unwavering dedication to him, they supported him mindlessly. Haruaki would be announced at the guitarist of Bones and All in 2023.

Jiho was a child actor, acting between the ages of 6 and 12 before disappearing from the industry to presumedly focus on his studies. When Jiho would return to the industry, it'd be under Angelico Entertainment in the now-defunct boyband Cicada in 2020. Jiho never liked being in Cicada as he says most of the members didn't get along with one another and the management was abusive. Jiho would silently leave Cicada in 2023, just eight months before their abrupt disbandment. Many saw this as him jumping the ship early, while others see it as him abandoning his team, calling him a coward. Soon after he left Angelico, he was recruited by Carmen Bae to join Bones and All as their drummer.

Wei would be the final member added to Bones and All in 2023.

BLOOD SOIL is the 2nd full album of the Angelico co-ed group Pushing Daises released on November 1st, 2023 alongside their short film by the same name. The album consists of 11 tracks with "Catch me" and "Frostbite" being the title tracks. The group promoted the album for two months, ending promotions with 750,000 copies sold worldwide and 8 music show trophies between the two songs.
The album is entirely self-composed, written, and produced by the members of Pushing Daisies, citing to have very little help from outside forces with this album. A majority of their creative direction for this comeback was under their leader, Zasha, who wrote and directed their short film as well.

Pushing Daisies were styled by Nakyung who drew inspiration from dollcore and the southern gothic aesthetic. Nakyung also did their hair and makeup, which were heavily influenced by dolls and horror movies.
OO1. Biggest moment for them this era was when the Blood Soil short film was aired at the Sundance Film Festivle. Blood Soil would go on to win "Short Film Grand Jury Prize" making them the first Angelico Artist to take home an American based film award. Their reaction to winning the award would go viral as all the members looked stunned and confused, looking around like a mistake had been made before going to accept their award.
OO2. They brought back their beloved reality series "BEYOND THE GRAVE" and ran for ten episodes. The members went on various adventures throughout the show's run such as getting locked in an escape room together, visiting famous haunted locations around the world, undergoing a test to discover if they have any supernatural abilities or sensitivities, gathering around a campfire or in a dimly lit room to share their own ghost stories or paranormal experiences, spending a night at a reputedly haunted hotel, watching their favorite horror movies together, and many more freaky adventures wherever Angelico decided to send the group.
OO3. The group kept their social media activeee during this era! Zasha went live on their YouTube channel where she went over her entire creative process behind Blood Soil and shared personal anecdotes and inspirations behind the lyrics of the album. She read excerpts from her personal diary during this live, showing drawings and sketches of the characters and outfits she envisioned for this project. It was very insightful and intimate experience for fans.
OO4. Nakyung and Elliot were the most promoted members, as usual, the pair becoming Inkigayo MCees which fans ate up. They would go viral for interacting with groups they used to be a part of or were almost a part of. A picture of Nakyung smiling brightly while Sena of Venus side eyes her was a big hit amongst Mysies who know how to take a joke unlike constellations, who didn't find it funny. While introducing STARZIE, Elliot would make a joke about almost being in the lineup, saying: "Here's the group I was rigged out of, Starzie!" And while the members were able to take the joke, Elliot would have to apologize to netizens on his Instagram story later that night.
OO5. That wasn't the only scandal that hit the group this comeback! Yeojun would be spotted leaving a club with Lunarix member Evie, causing a frenzy online and disputes between the group's fanbases. Angelico would swiftly release a statement but would avoid discussing the relationship status of the idols, only addressing that the club they went to was a reputable club and neither one of them engaged in "inappropriate activities". Still, both Yeojun and Evie would release apologies, stating they were close friends and were just hanging out. After this, Yeojun would be notably quiet for the rest of the promotions.
OO6. The group would get matching tattoos towards the end of the promotions, vlogging the whole experience and even sharing the design on their social media for fans to get the same design if they wanted to. The design was a simple daisy with a single falling petal. Many netizens saw this move as inappropriate as it "promoted getting tattoos" to their "young and impressional" fanbase. The group didn't address this stirr through Zasha would post a selfie with her tattoo on her story with the caption "get jobs" which many fans found hilarious.

Debuting in 2012 as Flowerbank's second idol group and first-ever boy group, they were met with instant success and quickly began to climb the ranks, winning the title of "Rookie of the Year" and "Best Global Group" in 2012. The group would continue to grow and top the charts, even gaining international success that put them in competition with One Direction.
Despite their ever-growing stardom, the group would be met with tragedy when the heart and soul of the group, Lee Chang, would go missing in 2015. Upon his disappearance, the ISSAYAH members refused to come back without him, joining every search party for their missing friend. With no leads and very little evidence, police would close Lee Chang's case after six months of searching. Just a month after Lee's case was closed, ISSAYAH would go on an indefinite hiatus, only promising to return when they found Lee.
Lee Chang is still missing nearly ten years later.

In a 2022 Instagram post celebrating what would've been the group's ten-year anniversary, Bai referred to Lee in the past tense, leading many to believe he no longer believes he is alive.
PARK HAON, 1995. RAPPER, VOCALIST, PRODUCER. He remains signed to Flowerbank Entertainment as a producer and soloist, still working and producing for the groups under the label. He has not made his opinions on Lee's whereabouts known, but he sends money to Lee's mother in America once a month to take care of her.
SUH JAEHYUN, 1995. VOCALIST, RAPPER. He remains signed to Flowerbank Entertainment as an actor, creative director, and producer, working with their most popular groups, such as DeepDive and VENUS. In 2018, Jaehyun made it publicly known that he does not believe Lee is alive and that the investigation into his disapperence was botched beyond belief. He harbors a lot of resentment towards the police and seemingly the Flowerbank CEOs for this, which he has made known several times during his controversial live streams.
LEE CHANG, 1995. VOCALIST, DANCER. His contract remains active with Flowerbank Entertainment as he has not been legally pronounced dead. Carmen Bae, Co-CEO, has explained that this is so his mother can continue receiving royalties for Lee's music. Lee was last seen officially on CCTV leaving a bar known as "Devil's Lock and Key" in Busan with three friends, one female and two males, at around 2:12 in the morning, June 8th 2015. He has not been seen or heard from since.
MOON IDEUN, 1997. VOCALIST, DANCER, MAKNAE. After ISSAYAH's hiatus was officiated in 2015, Ideun was put into a sibling duo, 2MOON, with his twin sister Rua. Though the duo would be extremely famous in Korea, once it was time for contract renewals, Ideun would not resign from Flowerbank Entertainment and leave the industry to focus on his education. Ideun believes Lee Chang is alive and has disappeared on his own accord, saying: "Lee always talked about how beautiful Hawaii was when he visited as a kid. I like to think he got over all this and lives there now. It's better than the alternative."

🕰️ ˖ ࣪ εïз ⬦ REJECTS is a six-piece co-ed idol group under Angelico Entertainment. They debuted in 2017 with the lineup of REID, JIEUN, AIDEN, SUNHEE, and MIYU.
After the unfortunate passing of Sunhee in 2019, the group would go on a year hiatus and undergo a rebrand. With an original soft and sweet concept, when the group would reemerge in 2021, they'd take on a new and edgier concept as well as add four members: HANBIN, LOVE, JISU, and BEA.
This rebrand would prove to be successful, gaining the group a lot of traction and attention. However, Jisu would mysteriously leave Rejects in 2023 with no official explanation. He was swiftly replaced with ASH, forming their current lineup.
Reid's pre-debut life remains shrouded in mystery, with limited information available about his journey before joining REJECTS. His entrance into the limelight occurred with his debut in the co-ed group.
Reid is the son of affluent parents, both successful business owners. His father owns a lumbar company, while his mother is the proprietor of a hair care business. The influence of his family's success adds an intriguing layer to Reid's background.

Ash Kim was born in Melbourne, Australia in 2000 to a single mother, being the youngest child alongside his older brother. He would move to South Korea at age 9 for his mother's work. Upon moving to South Korea, Ash would attend an international school where he would meet the "coolest people" he's ever met and the ones who sparked his love for music. Logan and Jinyoung would let him join their "band" after he begged them enough to do so, taking on the position of their drummer.
They began practicing at Logan’s house as a trio up until 2013, when Logan met their fourth and final member, Grace, who would later go by the stage name Ivy. After much consideration from the boys, Grace became an official member of the band, taking a position on the bass.
The rag-tag group began busking around Seoul and performing at small venues until they were picked up by Level Up Entertainment in 2015. While the group was excited to be under an actual label, Level Up Entertainment wiped their previous discography from the internet to give the group a “fresh start.” It’s been confirmed that this was done without any of the member's consent, and they’re still upset over their old discography essentially being lost.
Upon their debut under Level Up, the band did relevantly well and garnered a small yet dedicated fanbase. They still busked around Seoul and often performed mini concerts around Korea while giving out copies of their albums in hopes of gaining more fans. While things looked fine to the public, the band was struggling creatively behind the scenes due to artistic differences with their management.
In late 2017, Ash made a post on his Instagram story expressing how trapped he felt under his company and how the group was being punished with inactivity for not conforming to the image their label wanted for them. The post was later deleted, but it caused some buzz on the internet, gaining them more support.
Despite this support, Level Up Entertainment, in what is now known as an abuse of power, would disband 4OCEANS but would not release the members of their 10-year contract. After a lengthy legal battle, Ash, Logan, and Ivy were able to get out of their contracts, while Jinyoung was not so lucky and remained under Level Up Entertainment.
Ash would join Angelico Entertainment, apparently very close to the former CEO, Son Jinhwa, and produce under the label until he made his idol debut in 2020 with the now-disbanded group Cicada. After the abrupt disbandment of the group, Ash would be added to Rejects without notice, just appearing with them on Inkigayo one day.

Beatrice "Bea" Tennet made a crashing entrance into the KPOP landscape by being one of seven female contestants on the JYP survival show STRAY KIDS. She trained three years prior to appearing on the survival show, specializing in dance and vocals. She was noted for being close to the boys and a punching bag for netizens as they deemed her "too touchy" with the other contestants.
She would make it to the final episode alongside three other female contestants but would not make the final group. Despite this, Bea would make her debut in ITZY in 2019 as the group's main dancer and lead rapper. While in ITZY, Bea would find herself being the punching bag for Kpop stans online and struggled to deal with the hate train towards her and her groupmates.
Due to this, in mid-2020, Bea would take an "indefinite hiatus" from ITZY that would later result in her departing from the group within the same year.
After practically vanishing from the public eye, Bea would reappear in Rejects in 2021, clearly doing much better than she was the year prior. She would take on the position of main dancer, lead vocalist, and sub-rapper.

With every new generation, a new lightstick is revealed a month after the new lineup is revealed. Allume has a total of FOUR generations of lightsticks. The first generation of Allume, active from 2000 to 2005, did not have an official lightstick but instead pen lights, similar to the ones AKB would produce. They are now highly sought-after collectors' items.

Called the "Allubong" by fans, this was the first official lightstick for Allume. The lightstick made its debut in May of 2005, making Allume the first Kpop group to ever have a custom lightstick. — HAUTE PINK is a fictional K-pop girl group under Flowerbank Entertainment. Haute Pink originally started as a predebut project titled "Runway Trainees" and was overseen by Bahng Taeu, known as his brainchild. The trainee group would start in 2017 with ten models turned trainees: FAME, HAILEY, JAMIE, ISEO, JOSIE, YUNA, XIYU, JAZ, BINGBING, and SKY. The entire purpose of the project was to form a group based around models turned idols with every girl in the project having a background in modeling.
Despite this original vision, Runway Trainees would silently fall apart nearly all the models leaving Flowerbank unceremoniously either to return to modeling, go into acting, or debut under other lesser known companies. Josie, Fame, and Hailey would be the only remaining members of Runway Trainees to stay under Flowerbank Entertainment.
Even with the original lineup falling through, Taeu would not give up on his original vision. The stars seemed to align with Bighit darlings Yebin and Yui left their disintegrating group HoneyBunch, Kim Misun left Angelico and signed to Flowerbank, and Josie just made it into the now coveted girl group IZ*ONE, bringing all the girls together for a perfect storm. Taeu would make the controversial decision to take this unlikely bunch and put them in one group. Deciding not to wait for Josie to debut the group he's been working tirelessly on for two years, Haute Pink would be born.
Haute Pink would begin promoting their debut in the spring, all the girls walking in multiple runway shows across the globe before making their official debut on December 7th, 2019 with the full album "Haute Pink." and title track "It's Haute." which would instantly catch the attention of netizens worldwide.
Never knowing failure, the group's notoriety would only grow with the disbandment of IZ*ONE, and the long-awaited and teased addition of Josie would finally come to fruition. Josie would officially debut with Haute Pink just a month after IZ*ONE's disbandment in 2021 with the mini album "Haute Arrival" and the title track "Hawt Hues." met with instant success as usual.

She has been working for Angelico for over 12 years, where she primarily managed the international sensation DeepDive and acted as their manager and creative director. Since its inception, Hyerim has worked with Mydol and with all Mydol's current groups to ensure strong and distinctive creative direction.
𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗜𝗡𝗛𝗪𝗔: Son Jinhwa is the CEO and founder of Mydol Entertainment. Beginning his career in 2001 as a soloist under YG Entertainment, he would soon transition into acting, gaining mainstream success until he departed from the label in 2007. He would found Angelico Entertainment, creating and housing iconic groups such as VENUS, DEEPDIVE, SNS, and PUSHING DAISIES. After retiring from Angelico, he created Mydol Entertainment to pave a new and innovative way for K-pop.
𝗝𝗘𝗢𝗡 𝗝𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗡: Jeon Jihan began his work in the entertainment industry in 2002 as a member of the boy group "EXEN" which would run until 2005 before the group would disband. Jihan would make a smooth transition into working behind the scenes as a creative director for a variety of groups. He began working for Angelico Entertainment in 2015 as a creative director but would soon take the role of COO after only two years of working with the company.
𝗝𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗜𝗛𝗔: As the youngest member of the board, Kiha holds a master's degree in global management from Howon University. He is also the main vocal of Angelico's first boy group, Inferno. Kiha is not only responsible for providing Mydol with state-of-the-art business strategies and innovative management plans but also has a thriving acting career and is the head of the training department within Mydol.
𝗔𝗛𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗨𝗡: Ahn Youngeun is an established businesswoman and former professor at Yonsei University. She joined Mydol Entertainment after he engagement to Son Jinhwa in 2023. She has introduced new and innovative ways to promote and manage Mydol's current groups, taking on the title of Mydol's general manager.
𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗔 𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗔: Tanaka Hana had a ten-year idol run as the leader of Angelico's most successful boy group, DeepDive, before retiring to go back home to Japan and continue a career there. After obtaining a business management degree, Hana returned to Korea to join the board of directors of Mydol.

★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀TOWER OF BABEL is the fictional fourth studio album released by South Korean-based idol band PLASTIC FLOWERS on April 8, 2024. This will be the last album released with all five members being signed under SUPERBLOOM MEDIA, as the company confirmed the departure of four members in early March. It would later be confirmed by the various South Korean music shows that Plastic Flowers' lead tracks ARE U COMING, EASIER, and KNOCK ME OUT would be banned from performance due to inappropriate lyrics and negative effects on the youth. They would instead promote THE RIVER for a month.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀The album gets it name from the biblical story of the same name from GENESIS 11:1—9 and is an origin myth meant to explain why the world's peoples speak different languages. According to the story, a united human race used to speak a single language and when they moved eastward to Shinar, they decided to build a new city and tower with it's top in the sky. Observing their city and tower, Yahweh makes it so they can no longer understand each other and scatters them across the world. According to leader SALEM, the name TOWER OF BABEL was chosen to reflect the major themes of the album, which includes miscommunication, self-destruction, decaying relationships, and escapism.
That is why it was called Babel—because there, the Lord confused the language of the whole world. From there the Lord scattered them over the face of the whole earth ( NIV; Genesis 11:9 ).
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀TOWER OF BABEL would peak at NUMBER ONE and achieve a PERFECT ALL-KILL with the fifteen songs locking out the top spots for THREE DAYS. The lead single ARE U COMING? would remain at the top of the chart for 739 hours, replacing DITTO by NewJeans as the song with the longest perfect all kill. Despite not promoting their actual title tracks on music shows, THE RIVER would earn 17 music show wins across the different shows.

★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀This album was well received by fans and critics alike since they had spent the last few years complaining about "the old Plastic Flowers" being missing. Tower of Babel was the perfect combination of those beloved Oliver title tracks and b-sides that had gotten them their original fan base. Everyone has their opinions on Plastic Flowers' musical identity, but Tower of Babel will always be in their top five. It's just that album.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀Critics rated the album four out of five stars. Though they were able to see some lyrical growth and new themes, many took issue with the album being composed of first drafts rather than finished songs. Many blamed Superbloom Media for this, however, as the band hasn't been given a proper break since their return from hiatus in May 2022. They praised Song and Kuaekulsri for their experiments when it comes to the new songs, however, they dismissed the other members as secondary songwriters. Han Jiyoon called the album "self-indulgent" and "fun", praising how the different arcs of the songs worked together to create a larger picture.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀It was also noted by the members the album should be listened to in order of the original tracklist. Salem said, "putting the album in track order is always one of the hardest parts. For this album, we all agreed that the best way to listen to it was in order rather than shuffling around because of the different thematic arcs we composed. The beginning is very focused on that rougher and more rock and roll sound and mellows out at the end of I Know the End. It just makes the most sense."
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀When the track list dropped and fans saw they had brought in a bunch of guest producers and songwriters, everyone was torn, to put it nicely. Many Poppies have a complex about Plastic Flowers being completely self-produced for seven years and now, with their supposedly final release, they featured others? Call them Julius Caesar the way they felt back stabbed. Other fans were excited to see Plastic Flowers actually making friends and lowering the burden self-producing a studio album can take. Their main defense was that writing, producing, and promoting three studio albums in less than a year would destroy anyone so why not invite their friends to help out?
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀After Deep Dive's newest come back with Tax Writeoff, seeing Finn Lee in the credits for Tower of Babel was not surprising. Finn and lead singer Oliver were practically inseparable at this point and have been photographed inside their respective companies and even outside as well. In an Instagram live, a fan asked a question about working with Finn, to which Oliver replied: "It's always the best. He really understands whatever I can't put into words and where the music should go next. He's just great, I love being around him."
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀Salem stans were glad to see Hiro on the track list, knowing how close they are. In a live stream with Jiyeon, they reflected on how much fun it was having Hiro in the studio again and their misadventures with Roze as well. While reflecting on Bloom with Us!, Jiyeon said, "I know there's a lot of discourse surrounding having guest producers, but it made the album better. Having these fresh sets of eyes really helped navigate us forward and present the best album we could."
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀However, seeing the Chloe Lee of Venus on the producers list was a bit more surprising. In defense of Oliver, many Poppies had spoken ill of Chloe during Shooting Stars after she had called Oliver a "loser" on national television and seemed upset by his mere existence. In an interview with Elle Korea, Oliver laughed the whole thing off and reminded everyone about "evil editing" and that they'd gotten closer since Starzie's promotions for their debut album. "I mean, it's Chloe Lee," Oliver stated with a laugh, "I would be upset about losing as well. We've put that all aside, though. She was a really big help on The Sweetness and she got along well with the rest of the band. That's all you can really ask for sometimes."
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀In a suprise, it was Kang Junyeong who had the most to say about working with their label mate, Kwak Yulli of Belladonna. "I had never met her before this, but I can see why she's so popular. Great songwriter and even better singer, she's gonna go pretty far." He even likened her to bandmates Oliver Song and Serin. Yulli would repost the comment to her Instagram story with crying emojis and thanking Junyeong for his kind words.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀The theories that fans were coming up for this album were actually insane but well proven by the lyrics and visual content. There were fan wars over any relationship pairing you could think of, especially with Oliver as many of his songs seemed to be about a new relationship rather than lamenting the past as usual. People looked into his recent interactions with other idols and his bandmates trying to figure out what was going on.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀Speaking of shippers... The Salem & Oliver Truthers went insane over a report from Dispatch hinting at them maybe being together again. Their biggest piece of evidence was them being see shopping together in Gangnam. Not even a rumor about them being on a date and they had Twitter freaking out. Salem, however, shut this down pretty quickly with a comment while being interviewed on a variety show.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀You either loved or hated the hair colors this era. While Salem, Junyeong and Serin all felt the love from their fans, they did not express the same feelings for Oliver and Deurim. Fans felt that their colors were playing it safe and should have also be a similar shade or just gone blonde like Salem had.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀Plastic Flowers reminded everyone that they were singers first and a band second with their appearance on Dingo's Killing Voice. They sang Easier, Are U Coming?, Scared, The Chain, Death Valley's Take My Hand, Oliver's Youth, and b-sides Monster Among Men and Wishful Thinking. The video received over 2 million views within the first day.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀This era was actually really good for the Found Family believers. There was very little fighting between the members and they all seemed to be at ease despite only one of them having a career past September. Even the hate train for Deurim seemed to be smaller than usual with the members talking about all the drafts and new music that she brought to the table.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀The music video for EASIER was the talk of Twitter for days. The members were all featured on the accounts "kpop moments that could kill a sapphic" and "kpop moments that could kill achilleans" as they filmed in that cave. A self-described "Plastic Flowers anti" would go viral for asking "what business did Oliver Song have in that cave and acting like that" and honestly, they had a point! It's become a copypasta within the fandom now and is always featured in threads about Poppyville's best moments.

★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀CURSE OF CAPULET is the fictional debut mini—album by the idol band BELLADONNA released on February 14, 2024. After their win on Superband, Belladonna would take five months to write and produce their first album with the help of Plastic Flowers SALEM and OLIVER and former Lush member DALLAS LINWOOD. Along with the songs written by the members, Salem had gifted them an old draft, RENEWAL, which was supposed to appear on Wind and Rain in 2019 but was replaced with another song. The album takes on themes of love, desperation, mortality, and the inevitability of fate with their concept changing from girlhood to medieval and renaissance imagery, often seeing the girls depicted as saints. The album had one title track, BURN ALIVE, but RENEWAL was also promoted as a b-side.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀Curse of Capulet comes from the play Romeo and Juliet by Williams Shakespeare as it's themes closely resemble the overall meaning of their debut album. It is a reference to Mercutio's death in Act III, scene I in which he curses both the Capulets and Montagues with "a plague o' both your houses!", blaming both of them for his death. He wants Romeo to know that he blames the feuding families for his fate and remind Romeo that his love for Juliet was the reason for his death to Tybalt, Juliet's short tempered cousin. The album was released with TWO versions: ROMEO and JULIET, with the back cover featuring quotes from both characters alongside the tracklist.
★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀TRACKLIST.
‘ # 001.⠀ ⠀OLIM ──── written by kwak yulli, produced by oliver song, and performed by belladonna. olim is an introduction track to belladonna's debut track and mimics catholic hymns, with the word olim itself representing the beginning of a fairytale. the translation goes as: "once, long ago God arrived in this age of brightness / He will come again" and is repeated twice. all members of belladonna referred to this as the hardest recording session that they've ever had. the idea was brought up by oliver as a joke, but yulli saw it as the perfect time to flex her old latin skills from attending catholic skills. it was almost cut completely, but the girls were able to save it at the last minute.
‘ # 002.⠀ ⠀TITLE TRACK: BURN ALIVE ──── written and produced by bae haena, performed by kwak yulli. in their debut single, belladonna comes out swinging as they depict themes of addiction, self-destruction, and the sacrifices made for love. the main imagery of the song is a toxic relationship where both parties are consumed by their vices and are unable to break the cycle of destructive patterns. because of this relationship, they are no longer who they aspired to be and desire to capitalize on their own pain, a reflection on modern society.
‘ # 003.⠀ ⠀THEATRE ──── written by ko sarang, produced by dallas linwood, performed by kwak yulli. theatre explores the desire for love and acceptance through the lens of a theatrical performance. it delves into the idea of yearning for a love that feels like it belongings in a grand gesture from a movie or performance. the narrator is willing to go through the motions by pretending and faking emotions just to fulfill this dream of being loved. they yearn to be loved and adored as a film star, swept up in a fantasy where all their desires are achieved.
‘ # 004.⠀ ⠀FORTUNATE ISLES ──── written by kim eulsun and kim wonhui, produced by dallas linwood, and performed by kwak yulli. this song is often the one that gets the most criticism as professionals and netizens alike believe it doesn't fit the sound of the album. however, the girls are always ready to double down on how much they love the song. taking it's name from the greek island where all their greatest heroes lived, fortunate isles conveys the story of a letter being delivered to an ex lover who isn't quiet over their relationship yet, asking to be reborn in spring so they can live together forever.
‘ # 005.⠀ ⠀RENEWAL ──── written and produced by salem kueakulsri, performed by kwak yulli. renewal was a gift to the members of belladonna from plastic flowers leader, salem kuekulsri. in an instagram live, she confirmed that it had intended to be a plastic flowers song, but it was cut and eventually left in her vault of music. she said that she gave it to belladonna to remind them that they always hold the power in their lives and as a way to keep them strong. it explores themes of personal growth and resilience in the face of adversity, wanting to start anew and find solace in oneself after experiencing setbacks and challenges. by "growing a new plant in your head", the narrator can reach a new sense of personal transformation and optimism, leaving anyone that doubted them behind.
‘ # 006.⠀ ⠀LOVERS ──── written by bae haena, produced by oliver song, performed by kwak yulli. haena is quickly establishing herself as the queen of heartbreaking ballads in the group and fans absolutely love it. in this slower track, yulli really shines vocally as she laments on a relationship that failed, but only just realizing how good she had it. with only two verses and a chorus, their message comes across very well as they repeat "i wish you were with me" and "me as yours, you as mine".
‘ # 007.⠀ ⠀PAGAN POETRY ──── written by kwak yulli, produced by oliver song and dallas linwood, performed by kwak yulli. this song explores the spiritual connection between two people as the singer s pedalling through the dark currents and finding an accurate copy of another's pleasure inside of her. this connection is described as a secret code carved into black lilies, something deeply romantic and spiritual. the concept of paganism is reflected in the individual's connection to the divine as deeply personal and the beauty and spiirtualiy is celebrated.

‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS: 200,000 sales in the first week and a nomination on every major south korea music show. fans were unable to get them a win, but they would only place behind the actual winner by a few points, making it possible for the next era.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀belladonna's fandom name, DOVES, would be announced by the girls in a video on how to cheer for burn alive. it was chosen because doves are often seen as a symbol of peace, freedom, or love—all things their fans provided for belladonna.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀the budget was the talk of the town. everyone was supervised to see how lavish and beautiful their concept photos, music videos, and performance outfits were. it drove poppies mad and they demanded for equal treatment for the two.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀ fan wars started between DOVES and POPPIES as soon as it was confirmed salem and oliver were working on the album. many accused belladonna of not being able to write or produce their own music, which is objectively not true as seen by their superband run, and were just overall nasty towards the girls.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀ the OLIVER and YULLI DATING RUMORS. . . someone had posted a video of them looking a bit too close after plastic flowers' performance at cheeky's and twitter just ran with it. superbloom had to issue a statement saying they were just friends and had a close "senior—junior artist" relationship.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀ enough about plastic flowers! DALLAS LINWOOD was praised for his work on the album! after announcing his retirement from performing, most were excited to see him working on music again and he did not disappoint on these arrangements.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀ belladonna performed and WON their first time on immortal songs: singing the legends. they were on the PATTI KIM episode and sang MOTHER'S HEART IN SEOUL! it was praised by the older generation of domestic netizens and the girls will definitely be returning.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀all of the girls were supposed to have their natural hair colors for this promotional period, but haena had over plans. without telling superbloom, she bleached her own hair and it surprisingly came out well! when the company found out, she was forced to tone it and it remained a white color.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀many pre-debut fans were disappointed by their concept shift. though it was hinted at in the later rounds of superband, many wanted them to keep their "girl—rock" sound because they could relate to what they were singing about. there's a clear divide between these stans and those that enjoyed the curse of capulet.
‘ # 000.⠀ ⠀they were given a reality show called THE BELLA'S, which was filled with fun challenges and the girls getting to know each other! it's a loved series by fans and is still being uploaded even after promotions ended. they had a whole episode on haena's hair, which was an instant classic.
