Would you mind if we kissed?" you laugh because you were taken aback. before jamil could take your reaction in a wrong way, you agree with a sweet smile. good job, that laugh and that smile ruined the composure he had built up earlier. it's not showing on his face, but his flushed cheeks say otherwise. regardless, jamil cups your cheeks in his hands once he was given permission. you gaze at each other. you see that there was a softness in his eyes. at the back of your mind you thought of his signature spell that he could have easily used on you. the fact that he hasn't speaks volumes about his feelings towards you. you both slowly lean in towards one another and your lips met in a soft and tender kiss. it was quick and brief but it felt like forever. as you both pulled apart, you rested your foreheads against one another in a state of bliss. you two could get used to this.

Personally to go off from what I understand of Catnap, he’s more tragic to me than anything. Bro got killed and transformed, infused to what his official appearance is now.

He used to be Theodore, as you probably would know. Just imagine going through all that, just to die all over again.

Catnap is fully and willingly offered himself up to the Prototype—I think. Imagine being killed by the only person who saved you, who you thought you can trust.

Though all things considered, he’s hellishly smart, but I’m surprised he didn’t kill us in-game on the spot. He had every right to do so, instead he let us run around.

Why is that?

I mean of course he still was hunting us, toying with us for sport—but he didn’t kill us immediately. That speaks a lot on his confidence in keeping Player in line.

Rightfully so, Catnap was doomed from the start. Like nearly every other toy in Playtime Co.

Now to elaborate on your other question, DogDay and Catnap appeared to be very good friends. Even from when Chapter 3 was still being teased, though it seemed from the start Catnap instigated a lot of things.

Even going so as far as to sever DogDay’s legs as seen in the game. From that scene alone it seemed Catnap wanted DogDay to change his mind, be on Catnap’s side and work with The Prototype.

He’s so complex I love it.

I have thought about this a lot actually, and the answer could be yes. I think it's something that I definitely might write in the future, and if I do, you best believe they're going to still be together. I love the "together since teenagers, still madly in love as adults" trope so much, and it would be so fun to write about older Daryl being overprotective of the reader when they get settled in the quarry, and people not understanding why Daryl's only soft spoken and kind to the reader since they don't know they're together (Daryl and reader kinda keep it a secret until Merle reveals they're together). I don't know, but if that's something y'all wanna see, let me know.
