just...! the evolution of eiffel and minkowski and hera's relationship is SO well done. the way that eiffel and minkowski go from resenting and being truly horrible to each other to having to work together to genuine friendship and finally a deep, unshakeable trust to the point where they both sacrifice themselves for the other!!! eiffel freaking out over hera at the beginning but becoming the first person to see her as a person instead of just a glitchy ai, to her personal cheerleader and trusting her even when by all accounts she shouldn't have been trusted!!! and hera and minkowski's relationship doesn't get as much time since neither of them are the narrator of the show but you can tell there is SO much happening there. hera trying so desperately to be loyal to minkowski even when she's being hacked and OUGHHHHHHH so many feelings all the time
and thinking about the aftermath of the show. hera losing her body and autonomy! eiffel losing his MEMORIES!! minkowski being the only thing keeping them + lovelace and jacobi and miranda from falling apart even though by all rights she's earned her happy ending like! they won and escaped but also they didn't. and don't even get me STARTED on hera's sacrifice for her crew. there is nothing for her on earth! earth is where she's probably going to be confiscated and sent away for study or destruction or reprogramming. but she did it for them.... I hope that in the end things worked out for her ;;
staff: our april fools joke this year is a silly feature that doesn't really do anything but give you a button to boop other users! they have to opt-in first though :)
Y’ever read something and have understanding that has eluded you interminably suddenly stop, curl up, and snuggle neatly into a fold in your brain because a new way opened to it?
it really is insane how waking up early will grant you access to some of the most beautiful sights and sensations in the world that will make you want to live forever, but only if you overcome the gauntlet of a thousand razors that is getting out of bed early. truly one of life's little saw traps.
Reblog to let your followers know that they’re safe from jumpscares/screamers/etc from you on April 1st but they are NOT safe from getting boop’d like an idiot amen
“You shouldn’t self-ID as ADHD/autistic, you’re turning a very real mental condition into a trend” Ok then stop saying delulu. Stop speculating on which cluster C personality disorder the criminals you hear about on the news have. Stop saying “schizoposting” and “acoustic” and “is it restarted?” Stop using “psycopath” and “sociopath” as catch-all ways of calling someone a bad person. Stop saying “the intrusive thoughts won” when you bleach your hair and then turn your nose up at people who suffer from very real, very scary urges of physical/sexual violence. Stop saying “I’m so OCD” as a way of calling yourself neat. Stop treating BPD/ASPD/Bipolar as inherently abusive. Stop saying “OP I am living in your walls” without tagging for unreality. Stop diagnosing complete strangers you’ve never met on r/AITA with NPD.
You first. If you don’t want our disabilities to be treated like trends then stop belittling and minimising them. I’ll NEVER judge a person for trying find labels for their symptoms when an apathetic, racist, sexist, ableist healthcare system refuses to. But I will absolutely judge a hypocrite. Which a lot of you are
there's a cherry blossom tree in DC that keeps blooming every year even though it shouldn't and the park service keeps thinking it's dead and then it keeps blooming! well they're removing a lot of trees to rehabilitate the area and they've said it's finally time for stumpy to go and they're going to mulch it and use the mulch to enrich all the other trees so it can help everything else keep going. and they're also going to plant spliced little pieces of it all over so that stumpy can live forever and this is genuinely sending me into a spiral
one of my greatest pet peeves in fiction, and it is truly stupid I know, is that no one seems to understand how genuinely hard it is to kill someone via stabbing. stab wounds have a mortality rate of like 5%. especially abdominal stabbing. tv shows and movies show dudes getting stabbed one time in the lower abdomen with a tiny knife and then they fall over. like what did he die of precisely. that man died of Small Knife
