POV: You can’t swim but they don’t know that

Ft: G. Satoru & G.Suguru (except I have a favorite) (fluff, crack, gn!reader)

Gojo Satoru:

For starters

This man would be such a fucking menace to go to the beach or to the pool with

He’d coming running over to you, all happy and smiling

And bro just grabs you

It does not matter how much you squeal or beg or scream or shout for him to put you down

That bitch will not listen and chuck you into the water

He’s all giggly until he realizes you have not come back up for air and he’s like 🧍‍♂️

Waits a couple more seconds before he dives after you

I can see this going two ways

Once you’re saved and stuff and you’re hacking up the water in your system

He’s either like

“My fault tehe” (Geto throws something at him)

Or just angry that you didn’t tell him you couldn’t swim

He is the strongest after all so he’d be able to save you from drowning no sweat

(You’d have to remind him he was almost the cause of you drowning and he just pouts)

Tries to make it up to you by buying you something you want and following you around for the rest of the day

Geto Suguru:

Okay

For him I imagine you guys are at a water park or something and you were finally convinced to go on a waterslide after hearing it just goes into a pool and not the fucking ocean

(Gojo provided the information that bitch)

So you’re all ready to slide down and Geto reassures you that he’s right behind you and you’re like

“Good cause I can’t swim”

And just slide down cause #yolo #noregrets #havefundyingy/n

Geto thinks you’ll be fine until the person that’s supervising is like

“Do they know this goes into the ocean?”

Then they hear your absolute SCREECHING

And Geto also just 🧍‍♂️ before diving after you immediately, not caring the person told him to wait his turn

He practically leaps into the water after you and when he finds you

He just snatches you and quickly swims back to land and you’re like

Dead

But that’s okay cause he won’t let you stay that way for long

Gently sets you down and presses his ear to your heart before pressing down on your chest

Seeing that you weren’t waking up he looks down at your lips before leaning in

And then you spit water in his face before he can go any further

He’s happy you’re awake but lowkey disappointed he didn’t get to do mouth to mouth

Gojo then comes running over laughing as he makes fun of your state and Geto throws a crab at him or something idk before turning all his attention to you

He’ll carry you if he has to just say the word (I’d let him carry me anyday😻)

I'm leaning hard into the holiday spirit this year. Last year I was away for 2 weeks so I didn't even bother putting my tree up. There was one other year recently when I just couldn't muster the mental or physical energy to bother. So, I had the energy and time this weekend and my tree and decorations are already up, I've been burning cinnamon candles and drinking hot chocolate, and there's just a very cozy vibe in here. Who wants to come hang out and read holiday themed fics with me?

hi hello I'm new pls explain the creechurs they are so funky and cute but I can't tell who is who :(

a creecher is just any character (mainly mcyt but am willing to do others) drawn on all fours w/o shoes, and little paw-like hands/feet with three nubs? toes? idk you’ve seen a creecher, you know what i’m talking about and they make one sound to communicate. ex: mumbo says ‘ough’ and grian says ‘agh’

and i assume youre talking about the creecher babies and not all creechers

archie (blue sweater, wings)- grumbo baby

swift (brown hair with blonde/orange streak, red vest)- mumscarian baby

atom (obvious child of doc)- rendoc baby

phoenix (purple jacket, jimmy wings and tango tail)- rancher baby

i'm not realy a enemies to lovers type of person but holy fucking shit, somehow you have gotten the right amout of ''i care, deeply, truly, about this person'' and ''oh ny fucking god, can they shut the fuck up FOR ONCE. i need to fuck them. but because of my own issues, sure, but i need them dead like rn. for the love of god, can they fuck offf-''

and i think that's great. steve dosn't feel ooc, him feeling annoying and demanding without his softnes, also feels in character

sparky is wonderful, she'd messy and snarky and sharp around the edges as a means of survival. Of course steve wants to help, but she's not bucky so it's weird, comes off as entitled, ''lectury'' to sparks

i also think that it would be realy cool to expolore how, maybe, a relationship between bucky and sparks would function (i mean this fully platonicaly for both of them), cuz both are kinda fucked, and somewhat in a similar boat (with the whole...activation thing) the uncertainty if the people in your life can ever see you beyond the things you've been put through and all of that, y'know,

(but also it's your story, and it's realy fucking cool as is)

so uh, yeah 👍🏻. i hope they get to fuck nasty in the next one (i need her to bite him)

somehow you have gotten the right amout of ''i care, deeply, truly, about this person'' and ''oh ny fucking god, can they shut the fuck up FOR ONCE.

I tried to give both Steve and Reader traits that could either clash or bring the other balance, and also not make one All Good and the other All Bad. I love enemies to lovers but it can be really hard to find harmony between that hate and affection, and make the progression feel natural - that's what I've been trying to do and it's sooo good to hear that it's been working!

I love that you think that! My favorite Steve is CATWS Steve. He feels real but also holds all the traits we love about him. What's happening in this movie is also happening here: our man is under a lot of pressure from multiple sides (including Sparky's) and it's hard to let his true personality shine when he has so much on his shoulders. But with time we'll get some more of his softness, it's there

I added some of this glimpses already, but I hope to touch more on the post Civil War Accords soon, and show that he had to compromise a lot to get his team back to the comfort and resources of the Compound.

Of course steve wants to help, but she's not bucky so it's weird, comes off as entitled, ''lectury'' to sparks

Their distrust of one another definitely made things more difficult than they could be. She doesn't see it as him trying to help and Steve doesn't understand - at first - how warped her world views have been at this point (and he is indeed lecturey). What should be obvious isn't and it creates frustration for the both of them. But I think that's on its way to change hehehe

I'm so glad you touched this subject because it's for sure going to happen! I've started to set that up on part 5 and I want to get something going on part 6. Reader and Bucky have had very similar experiences, and that's the reason they've kept their distance so far - it's too close to home. If I may give an itty bitty spoiler, someone is gonna spill the beans about the record player, lol Also! Bucky has been Steve's wingman since the 1940s 👀
