Start appending date constraints to your searches - "before:2023".

My results have gone from 90% AI bullshit to ~60% usable - which frankly at this point is a huge improvement.

Listen, you should never film strangers in public without their consent, but I swear there need to be fines or something for people who do that shit in some spaces. For example: I had to go to the ER last night, and some jerk filmed a woman who just came in and was clearly having an asthma attack. She immediately got to go back, and he was unhappy about that. Believe me, I get that it sucks having to wait when you're in pain, but you don't get to pick who deserves care when. The medical system in the US is a nightmare, and the ER could be the worst moment of someone's life. No one deserves to be recorded because some jack ass believes someone doesn't look like they need care.

This is fine to reblog. People who film strangers should be shamed if nothing else.

One of my favorite trope for Steddie is Steve hunting down Eddie when the kids join Hellfire and giving him a long list of dos and donts.

At first Eddie thinks he’s just being a prick, and worried he’s going to turn the nerds into freaks like him. Especially when he says not to mention drugs in front of Dustin.

But then he starts pulling out lists of monsters that can’t be in campaigns. And like what??? Why can’t he use demagorgons? They were gonna be in the next combat! He’s tempted to ignore the warnings, in fact he’s all set to, but something about Steve’s face when he was laying it all out haunts him. Something so deadly serious about it. So first he decides to test the waters to see if he’s full of shit.

When the session starts, he makes a throwaway comment, “you’re acting like there’s a mindflayer around the corner.”

All the kids freeze but Wheeler especially looks like he’s going to be sick. He even grabs at the bracelet around his wrist. The one he always said his best friend made him before he moved.

Eddie curses himself for even trying to test it out after that, and immediately bullshits the whole session so he can scrap any hint of demogorgans from the campaign.

After that session he drives straight to Harringtons house and demands they go over all the things he can’t include again, in detail, while he takes notes.

He doesn’t know what’s going on with these freshmen, but he knows trauma when he sees it and well he’d gotten attached to the gremlins.

When he leaves that night, he thinks Steve is looking at him with approval. Like he trusts him with their well-being now.

I think it'd be very funny if there was a Zelda game where Ganon isn't the big bad, but when you get to the Gerudo area there's a male Gerudo named Ganondorf there. He has zero relevance to the plot. Not any kind of twist where he becomes the villain in the end, or any kind of side quest. He's just there and that knowledge perpetually looms over your head menacingly.

This is so funny to me. Reducing them down to their simplest attributes. Turning them into symbols.

i just think that simon’s the type to stick his freezing hands underneath your shirt early in the morning because he doesn’t know how else to warm them up. it makes you squeak out a surprised gasp and you whirl to glare at him, blinking tired eyes at this big man who just presses his apologies on your temple before drawing you close, snuggling back underneath the sheets and letting the morning pass in silence.

you’re settling back into the fog when you feel his chest rumble, “g’morning, sweetheart.”

you huff a fond laugh, pressing a kiss on his chest, and whisper, “good morning too, big guy.”

i just think that simon’s the type prop you on the kitchen counter before ambling about to prepare breakfast. the kettle goes first (priorities!) then he trudges towards the fridge, grunting at the bright lights before glaring into it, forcing his eyes to focus.

you muffle your quiet giggles on the back of your palms, your legs swinging as you say, “i can cook f’r us, baby.”

he turns to you with a confused hum, still too tired to truly comprehend what you said. “what?”

you jump off the counter to walk towards him, curling your arm around his waist before leading him towards the island’s chairs. he sits without prompting, brows still furrowed in confusion, and you pepper kisses along his face before whirling around and taking over.

it’s when the aroma of coffee fills the space that simon blinks back to reality, mind racing to patch the broken recollection of the previous minutes.

he hugs you from the back, surrounding you with his warmth and bulk. “thank you, darlin.”

i just think that simon’s the type to want to have lazy mornings because it’s then when reality spills over: he’s home.
