This season five scenario is 100% completely inspired by this post by @stargrlism

Jonathan and Will are staying with the Wheelers. Most likely Jonathan is meant to take the guest room or something but he sneaks into Nancy's room at night. We get a scene of Jancy in Nancy's bed together, laying facing each other and looking at each other with so much love. The camera is above them so the shot looks like this one:

(Except this time they're facing each other like I said) So theyre gazing lovingly, but then Nancy averts her eyes, looking suddenly upset. In this moment she is reminded of how deeply she loves Jonathan. And with everything going on and all of them being in danger every day, she is terrified of losing him. She knows that losing him would destroy her, and that scares her. Jonathan obviously picks up on her sudden change of mood and asks her what's wrong.

Then we get a different angle, maybe something like this one:

(Except Jonathan would prop up on his elbow or something and be facing her, so they're both in frame?)

Then Nancy quietly admits that she's scared of losing him. Maybe she just simply says, "I can't lose you." And Jonathan understands what she means.

Jonathan reassures her, "Hey. You're not gonna lose me. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere." And they share a soft tender lil kiss. We can tell from Nancy's face that his words put her at ease. Then Jonathan pulls Nancy into him and holds her tight.

Then we cut DIRECTLY to Will and Mike in Mike's bedroom.

(At this point they have not confessed their feelings for each other. But Mike and El have broken up. And Mike and Will have been attached at the hip, there's been plenty of gay pining, and more heart to hearts and flirting, basically just status quo of what we saw in season four.)

The shot is a birds eye view, above them just just like the first shot of the previous Jancy scene. But this shot is wider because it includes both Mike's bed and the floor next to it, where Will is laying in a sleeping bag or maybe on a mattress on the floor. They are both staring up at the ceiling, wide awake.

Then Mike quietly asks if Will is awake. Will responds, "Yeah." And there is a beat of silence that goes on just a little too long to be comfortable, when Mike reluctantly asks, "Can you... can you just come up here?"

We see the surprise on Will's face. He lays still for a second before saying, "Yeah," for a second time, and climbing into Mike's bed.

Now we get the tighter shot that looks more like this one:

Except probably they're both still staring at the ceiling (not into the camera though, only Jonathan gets to do that). They're on edge laying so close to each other, they're both nervous.

After a few moments Will clears his throat and asks, "You okay?"

Mike turns to face Will, and Will mirrors him. Now the angle changes again and we get the shot that parallels the previous Jancy scene of them looking at each other.

Mike now essentially admits to Will that he's scared of losing him, but it's different than Nancy's confession. In part so that the scenes aren't too similar and they don't feel redundant, but also because Nancy didn't need to elaborate much, as she and Jonathan are established and he knew what she was feeling. Will doesn't know what Mike is feeling.

Mike says something like, "I feel like I'm still messing up with you." Mike is concerned about losing Will due to his own actions (or lack of action) in addition to being scared about Vecna.

Will seems a little caught of guard as he asks, "What do you mean?" Will is far too in love with Mike to hold a grudge even if he wanted to.

Mike looks nervous as he says, "I don't know. I just. I feel like... things are better between us, but they're not how they used to be."

We see the guilt on Will’s face. He thinks that their friendship not returning to the way it once was is his fault. His fault for having these feelings and for hiding them.

But then Mike continues, "And I feel like it's my fault because I'm not being honest with you."

Will looks surprised again and asks, "What aren't you being honest about?"

And Mike looks incredibly anxious as he responds, "I can't tell you. I... I don't want to lose you."

Will's face softens as he firmly says, "You won't. Mike, you won't."

Mike nods as the tears start to flow, and he see Will pause for a moment, deciding whether this is a good idea before pulling Mike into him and hugging him tightly.

Mike begins to cry, and Will rubs his back subtlety with his fingers (exactly how he did in Max's hospital room).

"You're stuck with me." Will jokes, but Mike doesn't laugh, just hugs him tighter, his face buried in Will’s chest.

End scene. We don't get our confession quite yet. But obviously Will is now wondering what Mike isn't being honest about. He soon finds out that Mike is hiding the fact that he's in love with him. Confessions happen, kisses happen, the audience cheers, we have world peace.

I need something cute, like Steve getting a glimpse into the future and just seeing everything he's ever wanted. A big house full of kids, it's loud and busy, Toys scattered around. Then he just sees bug in all her glory. She's not dressed up or anything. Wearing pj's and sitting on the couch surrounded by a gaggle of little Harringtons. Some look like her, some look like him, maybe one who's too little to tell. Older ones sitting across the floor. Everyone's doing their own thing but all together in the same room. Everything feels warm and cozy. No more fighting for their lives, or worrying about what's gonna happen next. They're safe, surrounded by love that they created.

I imagine it like when Nancy comes back around Steve feels confused about his feelings ( Steve and Nancy never really had a friend phase like Steve and bug did, so I feel like they have trouble acting like friends around each other. It always lands into flirting territory and this might be confusing for the both of them.) And then he just gets hit with this vision and it makes him wanna cry. All he's ever wanted right in front of him but out of reach. When he'd get out of the upside he'd basically throw himself at bug. Any confusion is out the window and he knows what he wants.

ALSO, I feel like the jug reunion will be so good. I know season four took a lot away from Jon's character but I feel like it was needed. He saw his younger brother dead, his mom go crazy, planned a funeral BY HIMSELF ( and bug), he's almost died a million times. He deserved a break. He deserves to be a teenager and smoke weed, to forget about college for a minute. I feel like it helped him kinda go back to his old self, or maybe become someone new entirely that's a mixture of his two selves. Bugs tired when he comes back from California. She's been through hell and back and now she gets to see her old friend again. She gets to pretend like nothing has happened. Like she didn't almost die, like she hasn't been cursed or plagued with nightmares. She gets to relax and distract herself from everything that's happening around her. Don't get me wrong she's Happy, she loves Steve and she wouldn't give those memories up for the world, but she missed Jonathan. Everythings fucked but when bug and bee are together it's okay, they feel like everything will be okay. I feel like after everything that happened with vecna she'd feel homesick if that makes sense? She's way too stressed out and just wants to go home, but homes changed. Having Jonathan there would definitely help.

honestly what i adore about bug and jon is their childish innocence they still have together. the world is ending and theyve had the worst fucking three years of their lives but the second theyre together its bearable again.

i like to think of them as that feeling we all had as children, where we played superhero or tag or hide and seek, and the thrill and invincibility that followed after an exhilarating game with your best friend. your knees may be scrapped from falling, or maybe the dark closet you were hiding in began to scare you, but the moment youre back with your best friend all the fear and worries disappear because how couldnt they ? youre seven and your best friend is your favorite person in the entire world.

also you make such an interesting point about nancy and steve never JUST being friends. i never even considered that and now may have to rethink my pure hatred for that season 4 plotpoint (thats assuming the duffer bros even had that tidbit in mind). i think it adds such a nice layer to everything, so we shall see !!

I hate going to the dentist, they scare me and make me so anxious but I really need to go to one bc I have an issue w one of my teeth + gums in that tooths area. Im trying to distract myself w yan fruity four n imagine that theyre comforting me:(

IM HERE ANON!!!! i feel you so much i don't like the dentist either, the anxiety is so real 🥺 but the yan fruity four would so be on it with you!! ♡

i can imagine they're all clearly very supportive, but they're also keen on working together so they decide to tackle your problem in different areas. Nancy takes care of your more practical needs, like making your appointment for you, arranging your ride, taking down all the details over the phone for how you can prepare and in the case of needing work done, how to provide aftercare while you're healing. she's so on the nose that it kinda feels like she's your dentist which is a little more comforting to think of. except instead of giving you a toothbrush and some toothpaste as a reward for getting through the appointment, she gives you snuggles and praises you on doing so well and being so responsible. and kisses, lots of kisses.

Steve babies you soooooooo much--he probably tries to get you out of having to go until he realizes just how much you need it, and then he switches over to reassuring you and hyping you up to go in as the appointment draws closer. he's definitely the one driving you there and stroking your hair as he drives you back home, if he could have you in his lap as he does he would, but he just has to wait until you get home. curses. but at least when you arrive he doesn't let you do anything for yourself, even unbuckling your seat belt--he reaches over and undoes it for you with a click, before getting out and coming around to your side to pick you up and bridal carry you into the house. and then you're set, because if Steve catches even a whiff of you wanting or needing something, he's on you and bringing whatever it is as quickly and efficiently as he can.

Robin, surprisingly, is the one that goes into the office and into your appointment with you. Steve and Nancy will both wait in the car to make sure everything on the outside is safe (call them paranoid, but they have good reason to) while Robin helps you check in and sits with you as you're waiting. but it's mostly because she's the best at making you laugh, and she tends to be the least uptight of the group so she makes for a good "friend" to come with you and settle you down with a squeeze of your hand. plus, she's already got plans on what snacks she's gonna get to keep for you when you're feeling up to eating them--primarily things like icecream and softer snacks that'll be easy on those poor teeth of yours. she'll even make Steve stop at the convenience store on the way home so she can grab them all, along with some flowers as a special present for being so good and going in even when you didn't want to.

and Eddie, sweet Eddie, doesn't come to the appointment for the simple reason that he needs to make sure your recovery room is perfect for you. he'll decorate your room with strings of fairy lights and set up your bed like a huge pillow fort, he'll even drag in one of the smaller crts and stretch a blanket over the top of it, so you can cuddle inside and watch all the cheesy, scary movies you guys can get your hands on. he'll throw a bunch of his own blankets and pillows inside too so that it smells like him, and because he knows that cuddling with his things comforts you (and he loves it so much, phew) as well as his cassette player and some of the mixtapes he's made for you in case you want to play them to fall asleep to. so when you're carried in by Steve and he lays you down inside your new fort, Eddie's already so eager to comfort you that he just grabs you and clings to you like a little koala. the others'll have to wedge themselves in just to get their own cuddles in, and even Nancy and Steve will get in on the action and cram themselves in beside the others to make a big snuggle pile, even though they'll have to deal with the rather intense movies Eddie's picked. but at least they have you! that's all that really matters.

What's your least favorite byler "proof"? Like when someone shows somebody it in an argument/interaction/whatever and it makes you go "noo wtf not that please" 😭 I think for me it's that one part in the infamous byler slides where there's a koala/bear in between mike and El and that represents will.

oh my god youre gonna get me canceled theres so so many i think are insane and dont believe in at all lmao. the masterdoc is fun but theres so much i think wasnt intentional. and so much of what i see here i think is a stretch.

bouta break my silence and come out as an anti believer in so many popular theories on here… no one be mad at me

dont think mike had a letter for will in his pocket in s4 (im SORRY but that wouldve been addressed)

dont think the tracks being different and youre the heart are connected in any way or supposed to be played together they dont sound good or seamless together at all

dont think mike walking into the school newspaper room for nancy and looking around was him looking at guys and gay panicking at all

hate the sauna test theory. they walked in on a bunch of gross naked wrinkly old men theyre not gay panicking?? maybe if they were conventionally attractive young guys but no. i think the masterdoc argues that mike looks down in shame bc hes thinking about his future self as a gay man but i dont believe in that at all tbh. i also dont think that zoom in on the men sign had anything to do with byler it was just an establishing shot of where they were.

not sold on lucas’ new coke speech being related to byler (the seating arrangement in that scene tho was definitely intentional)

i dont think at alll that mikes break down on hopper in s2 yelling “liar liar liar” had anything to do with internalized homophobia. i dont think he ever thought about his sexuality before s3

i think a lot of the times we’ve seen the colors of a certain sexualitys flag has been unintentional. something specifically pointed out like the rainbow ship for will probably was but a background character somewhat close to mike wearing colors that vaguely resemble the bi flag? or the lighting on his shirt kinda looking like the mlm flag? i dont think thats intentional at all. when they do symbolism shit like that its much more obvious (framing mike in the closet)

this one im actually on the fence about because it would be really cool, theres just one word that makes me second guess it. the idea that the girl fake choking at suzie’s house and the dad freaking out was foreshadowing of mikes monologue. on some levels it makes sense but the way the kid said “your terror it looked genuine” kinda makes it seem like it would be implying that mike wasnt actually scared for els life in that moment which i dont like at all. if he had said “your performance” instead i would be 100% sold

i dont believe in most the s1 byler theories. i do think they had the idea of byler in mind from the beginning but at that point they didnt even know if theyd be renewed so i dont think they prioritized anything that could foreshadow byler. i think the lack of romantic tension with mike and el in comparison to jonathan and nancy is telling, but i dont think there was anything in that season relating to mikes sexuality or feelings for will, both because of logistics and prioritizing mlvn for the first season, and because they had TWO SCENES TOGETHER

also dont believe in flickergate as much as i love the idea of it it would break the rules of the universe that theyve already established. the upside down isnt actually in the past its a place frozen in time. things happening there dont affect the past.

theres definitely more but those are the ones i can think of rn.

1 3 10 for horror asks

<3 1: top 3 favorite subgenres -WELL. i find it hard to really determine what i think the main horror subgenres to chose from even Are because i feel like you can make a nigh-infinite number of different subgenres or sub-subgenres- like, do i consider "splatstick" its own thing or just a subset of a splatter film? or of horror comedy? are zombie films just a type of monster movie, or are they their own separate thing? etc etc broadly speaking, i feel like i like most types of horror, i clearly like slashers a lot, and i love a lot of psychological stuff; and i do really like horror comedy when its done well (a lot of modern horror comedy in particular is very mediocre to me, feels like theres more and more of a tendency towards either lowbrow edgy offensive dudebro comedy OR annoyingly self-aware fourth wall breaking w/o an understanding of how to use metahumor appropriately... the latter also creeping into a lot of modern slasher films, even if theyre not strictly horror-comedy). i love found footage and a lot of highly experimental surreal stuff, though both feel more like descriptions of styles than genre (but then, film noir has more or less escaped the confines of "only referring to visual style and not actually a distinct genre", at least depending on who you ask, so why cant "found footage"?) and i really have become more and more fascinated with exploitation films this last year, which is itself a ridiculously broad "genre" whose definition seems to change depending on who's describing it at any given moment, and which definitely crosses over heavily with horror... idk! i think my top 3 would roughly be exploitation horror, psychological, and slashers, but its up for debate 3: top 3 favorite decades -love this one because ive been thinking about this exact question a Lot lately. most of the horror movies ive seen have been from the 80s but i think my favorite decade overall is the 70s, its that perfect sweet spot just before a lot of common horror tropes became horror tropes and thus before a lot of stuff began to be repeated to death; a lot of my favorites are from the 70s (halloween, tcm, lets scare jessica to death, hausu, death bed, carrie, jaws, magic, alien... etc); and idk i just love the style of a lot of 70s films. even a really mediocre 70s movie can usually be partially saved by looking nice enough or having a good enough vibe to carry me through the runtime. the past few weeks ive been making more of a conscious effort to watch 50s/60s movies as well, including ones that i dont hear talked about that often (if at all) and ive been having a great time with that. i think next year im going to try to focus more of my attention on that general 50s-late 70s horror time frame and watch as much as i can from then, good and bad. and pre-50s films too, ofc (short answer: 70s favorite, 80s second place, maybe 60s third place?) 10: favorite final girl(s)

-laurie strode is obviously taking the top spot <3 love her. off the top of my head theres not a lot of other traditional final girls who come to mind, aside from sidney prescott; i do LIKE final girls like nancy from elm street or stretch from tcm2 but i dont consider them favorites. most of my favorite horror characters (at least non-killer ones) arent from slasher movies, so im a bit more reluctant to give them the final girl status. and ash williams. obviously

In season 3 when they went into the Russian base under the mall dustin tried to make you stay out of it for your safety but you absolutely refuse. "If your going to be in danger so am i" kinda thing

Erica immediately knew. If you were small enough to fit in the vents with her she'd randomly go "so you and the nerd are a thing am i right? Dont worry i wont tell" and you'd just be confused at how she figured it out (she totally watches the party when theyre out alone💀)

Dustin constantly worrying about you but still being happy that your always next to him when he's in danger.

Your bestfriends with steve. Basically as close as him and dustin

You definitely have a bat with nails in it just like him and your chaotic asf and steve loves it. Thinks your a mini him(minus the no love life) he also gave you his hair secrets(but depending on you. You might like your own hair routine more)

USOGOAJSOAHAJH OKAY. SO. i had many many thoughts !!!! so many that i put them under a cut so as not to bore anyone who doesn’t care lmfaooo

first thing i am so attached to like all of the characters i was tellin rory about them yesterday but like i would die for nancy and robin, i want to give el and max a hug, mike got done dirty by the writing imo but i love him anyways, lucas and jonathan are doing their best and i respect it, joyce is literally neverrr ever wrong, hopper is just such a well done character, steve had the best redemption arc i’ve ever seen, dustin is HILARIOUS and the dustin-steve duo is top tier, eddie and argyle are just so fun to see on screen AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST I ADORE WILL. ABSOLUTE KING NETFLIX GIVE HIM MORE SCREENTIME OR DIE BY MY BLADE. i hope i didn’t forget anyone ajdosjfosjfiwhd

continuing on! okay tbh i hate horror stuff. like sm. i have never watched a horror movie in my life i just can’t do it. with that said i honestly did not find myself horrifically scared and that made me happy bc i was scared that it would totally freak me out and i wouldn’t be able to finish watching it ! it was like. good scary. cinematic ✨

because none of my irl friends watch stranger things/arent caught up and i need to make my predictions somewhere ive decided to share my volume 2 predictions here because i need written proof somewhere if im right:

POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD CUZ I REFERENCE VOLUME 1

-steve and robin will survive. steve is too popular a character to kill off, people will literally stop watching if he isnt in it. plus im p sure some netflix head or producer or something said steve will never be killed off. i saw this in a screenshot of a news article on twitter that i can no longer find so its possibly fale but i still think its unlikely for steve to die. robin wont die because shes (so far) i think the only canonically confirmed lgbtq+ character and that would look BAD for the duffers. plus we need to see where she and steve work in szn 5. these two i think are safe.

-now. nancy eddie jonathan and argyle. one of them is gonna go. nancy dying would be a HUGE twist considering shes one of the strongest characters (do not tell me shes not. she is.) the end of volume one however makes me think this wont happen because we still see nancy in the trailers so either the trailers are a fake out to make her seem safe or shes actually safe. im up in the air. eddie is a classic case of likable character getting introduced and built up so his death will be more painful (remember bob and alexei? yeah. like that) BUT since hes so heavily queer coded and well liked by fans this could look like killing ur gays again and the duffers may have steered clear. in all honesty my gut is telling me eddie is safe but i know not to trust my gut so out of these four i dont think hes the most likely to die but its still possible. jonathan might go just to give will more angst but at the same time he hasnt been relevant enough this season to make it impactful. however if a jancy break up happens OR nancy dies vecna could use that against him and give him the boot as well. argyle is either totally safe and wont even be all too involved in the season or fighting and remain a comedic side character for szn five or hes gonna make a huge and shocking sacrifice that no one sees coming because of his comedic presence. its a toss up for him. out of these four i think eddie and nancy are the most likely to go because one of the four teens in the upside down is probably gonna go i think.

-dustin. im sorry yall but i think dustin is gonna die. hes been too safe this entire series. hes a lovable character and the glue of the group. they might kill him off to make everything seem hopeless until someone begins to rally behind avenging his death. the glue almost always dies people. im scared for dustin but i rlly think this is the end for him.

-were gonna get a new couple. it wont be steddie or ronance sorry to break it to ya but theyre rlly pushing stancy and honestly i think they might do stancy so steddie and ronance are out of the running. robin and vickie is a possibility for me. i think theyd go for that one.

-mileven wont break up im sorry its not gonna happen millie and finn both have said that theyre like soulmates or some shit in interviews so i dont see that happening anytime soon

-seeing as vecna has never targeted the same person twice (yet at least) i think max and will are both safe and all the theories and ‘evidence’ pointing to will being vecnad are just a red herring

-HOWEVER i do think mike is gonna get vecnad. like dustin he has also been too safe in this show and i think that if something bad happens to eleven or mike (likely) mike is gonna blame himself and vecnas gonna get him

-lucas might also get the chop. i dont have any reasoning for this other than my gut feeling. so maybe not.

-lumax gets back together before tho

-008/kali is gonna return. if not in szn 4 then szn 5. theres just so much left that could be done with her character that could be discovered.

-the painting is gonna be of mike (and possibly the rest of the gang as their dnd characters) and this is gonna lead to will coming out

-jasons gonna get the chop cuz he was what steve was originally meant to be. steve was supposed to die szn one as a typical douchy all american boy but he was too charming and layered ao they kept him. jasons gonna get the chop.

now. what do i WANT to happen?

I do not ship Byler. Will deserves so much better than Mike. Sure the relationship between El and Mike is very pushed to the side this season, but they do very much love each other. Mike has only ever been a jerk to Will. I want Will to find a boy that loves him just as much as he loves him.

I also, do not like Eddie. He had no personality, no future goals. His only real moment was with Chrissy. His death was completely pointless and stupid. He deserved so much better than what he got. But he also wasn’t a perfect person. He was well into adulthood, selling drugs to kids/teens. I don’t get why everyone loves him. He was set up to die from the start. It was glaringly obvious. The way they handled it was very disappointing.

I think they really shouldve gone through with killing a main character. Don’t get me wrong, Max should not have died. She’s a child, working through her ptsd and intrusive thoughts. She is traumatized beyond belief. They all are. This was her season. The actress absolutely blew me away. They should’ve stuck with it, when killing a kid though. They wanted to emphasize El lost. That this was a devastating failure. 22+ people died because she couldn’t beat Vecna. Imo, Mike shouldve died. It would’ve made Eleven FURIOUS. She and Will wouldve gone absolutely off the rails. He’s the heart right? So take it. Break their hearts. Make them lose all hope. MAKE it dark if you want ppl to feel it. Nancy would be devastated and blame herself, believing she shoudve been there to save him. And thinking how she wasnt there for him, or for Barb. She wouldve lost her mind, pushed everyone away. Finally be shown as her own person, blow off One’s head. Just soft killing Max is pointless. It gives no motivation to the mcs, and shows that even when they lose, theyre still the invincible mcs

Season 4 was a pretty good season, plot wise. But the characters, theyre being shoved aside. New characters are getting thrown in with no personalities, other than their “one trait”. Eddie being “a freak”. Argyle being a stoner. And all the current characters are losing all growth and becoming 2D. Mike is mean. Will is gay. Lucas wants to fit in. Eleven is a “monster” who’s actually a “hero”. Steve is in love with Nancy. Nancy’s a scared girlboss. Johnathon’s hiding through being high. Dustin’s just obsessed with his role models. Max is traumatized (the most personality in all the characters tbh). Joyce is scared for Hopper. Hopper wants a happy ending. They’re all describable in one sentence. It’s yikes. Hopefully they take the time to focus on the characters this last season. Especially since theyre splitting the big boss fight into two seasons. I really enjoy the story, but i have to agree that the characters this season, only disappoint

ok so that's a great question because i can see it going multiple ways.

i love love love the idea that he has a talk with like nancy or lucas or max or robin that convinces him to go to the byers. i'm not gonna go into details about the conversation, but they kinda just tell him to 'go for it'. and then he's gone and shit hits the fan and they kinda regret it bc they need all the help they can get. but in that case, they know he's gone and more or less why.

but my number one prediction is something happens and smalltown boy plays and he's outta there. he leaves in the morning with everything he owns in a little black case alone on the edge of the platform, the wind and the rain on a sad and lonely face. ya know. it could be a fight with his rents or the announcement that they're get divorced (which i think is the best and most likely option, since it could provide nancy with some tunnel vision type motivation and also pave way for the much anticipated and long overdue mike/karen heart to heart on the way home with the pay phone at some shitty diner the sbp gang stops at). i've also been in a "no fear" "what if there's a moment with a homophobic bully where the music absolutely obliterates me and there's that drop in his expression and it scares him enough to run away" "one fear" mood tonight so there's that. whatever it is- he doesn't tell anyone that he's going.

shit starts to go down and they 100% forget about him entirely until he jumps out of the back of the surfer boy pizza van in episode 8 and he's like :D didjya miss me :D and theyre like. oh um yeah 100%. so basically what happened with dustin and the scoops troop (i'm seein a lot of parallels between them that's fun and off topic)

but if he just dips then they might just think uh fucking oh the demogorgon got him. that scenario i find less likely because it seems... weird. for them to just think he's dead. like they're focusing on chrissy then all of a sudden they decide well we can't find mike he must have been eaten. maybe they suspect something with the lab but idk i feel like that is going to be surfer boy pizza gang's problem exclusively. at least until the last episode or two. and none of the other characters are even gonna realize that problem is resurfacing. except i do think nancy will connect the dots about the lab with her pennhurst stuff but just that it's back. idk that's off topic.

but then again like. he packs a bag. i'd assume. so if they're worried about him, they could just go look at the wheelers n be like okay half of his shit is gone, he ran away.

anyway yeah i think my answer is they're just gonna forget he exists lmao.

What horror films would you recommend to someone who hasn't watched much horror at all? I'd like to be scared, but I don't want to watch a movie that just blood-guts-jumpscares. Horror movies with gay subtext?

oooooo okay okay let me give you a few!!!

- it 2017 & 2019: gay little found family movies !!! got me into horror!!!!! its true that it ch2 is not very good but yes it is it isnt. not super scary (imo) but i think generally good horror movies

- reanimator (& bride of reanimator): more gory but not JUST that. extremely gay. simply a must altho there is a sexual assault in the first one to be aware of

- nightmare on elm street!!! and nightmare on elm street two: the first one is just soooo good imo very fun and just like. i love nancy. and the second one is one of if not the gayest horror movies ever, so i highly recommend it. you really dont HAVE to watch the first one first if you dont want to but i think you should

- raw: fucked upppp it fucked me up. not really gay but it is extremely good and different from like. everything else on this list to me.

- the perfection: very good but Very what the fuck. warning for sexual assault/abuse on this one as well. this movie is wlw so thats fun!

- cabin in the woods & scream: lumping these together because i think theyre similarly good intro to horror type of movies, although scream has what cabin in the woods does not (gay little moments)

- martyrs is not exactly a movie i would RECOMMEND per se but it is everything all the time. its a lot. but it is Also queer thats like the least of the plot but. im putting it because its a really good fucking movie and it’ll haunt you

- fright night; simply a must for gay horror!!! its so much fun and is just incredibly like. something really lgbt happened to me yesterday

- train to busan: buddy you are going to cry. its okay just let the zombie movie make you cry. and also scare the shit out of you. it has range

- the fear street trilogy: while i didnt find it very scary it was extremely fun and gay so i think it deserves a nod here

- ginger snaps: spiritual sister to jennifer’s body, (which you should also watch it is gay and very good im just assuming u have had that one put in your orbit) not gay but like it Feels gay. gay people be watching ginger snaps. anyways its a horror coming of age werewolf story its fun

- saw: this is obvious. i am assuming you have watched saw or at least know i think you should watch saw. watch saw 1 & 3 (also 2. for continuity) for something rlly lgbt to happen to u <3

- an american werewolf in london: maybe a bit unexpected? underrated?? but i looooved this movie and yknow what. i think it can count for gay subtext i dont care!

if byler is confirmed by episode 8/9, then what would you want to have in store for them for season 5? I think it's endgame myself but personally I have no idea what to think about what's gonna happen to them in the last season!

i’ll give you two answers (and then an answer to something you didnt even ask) bc im not sure if by confirmed you mean to the audience or to mike and will.

if they both establish their feelings to each other in volume 2 then i think next season will be them dating in secret but will wants to come out to everyone and mike doesnt. they might get in a fight about it. i think mike has way more internalized homophobia than will ever did and the idea of people knowing really scares him. in the first episode when they reunite again i think they’ll be all cute and happy in private and then will asks “are we telling them this time” and mike clearly gets anxious and will might say something like “you said next time we see each other you’d be ready” and mike denies it or something.

i also think dustin might be on to them and a little side story will be dustin talking to lucas about it and lucas wouldnt believe him at all but dustin totally does. i also hope mike has a wholesome coming out moment with nancy. i just would love to see that. but overall i think next season would be them dating but mikes struggle with being openly himself might make their relationship a little rocky. but will knows its not his fault so it doesnt lead to any huge fight or break up or anything. its just hard that theyre not on the same page with that.

if mike and wills feelings are confirmed to the audience in volume 2 but not to each other then i think next season will be painful mutual pining that neither recognize or act on because theyre both scared the other doesnt feel the same way. i think they might figure it out halfway through the season because if they saved it to the end there wouldnt be much room to show their coming out. honestly i think if this is the case i think people might find out accidentally because 1) i dont want them to just jump right into coming out with just a couple scenes and not express how serious that moment is to them and 2) i dont think mike would be ready to come out immediately after starting to date will.

it would make a lot more sense for them to establish their feelings to each other at the end of this season but im honestly not sure they will because they havent shown that much of mikes feelings. nothing they showed indicated that he doesnt have feelings for him, but what they did show was very subtle and when i have conversations with stranger things fans that love the show but dont follow up with theories or cast interviews as heavily, they all have never even considered mike being gay. most know that will likes mike but they dont suspect mike likes will. and i know thats probably what the duffers were going for but honestly i dont think it was the best move because now i think if they push it all in volume 2 it’ll feel to casual fans like it came out of nowhere. they should have implied it the way they implied nancy and steve getting back together.

though i do think thats what theyre doing based on everything the cast and crew has said. the duffers said finn plays a more emotional mike this season. we havent seen much emotion from mike at all, at least none that i would describe as more emotional than previous seasons, so that means that he’ll be a lot more emotional in volume 2. finn has said multiple times that mike learns a lot about himself and how he sees his relationships with people so i think he does figure out he’s gay and likes will but im not sure about him confessing to will.

from what we’ve seen already it would make more sense for mike to just realize his feelings this season but not admit it to will, but when you consider what that would lead to next season and how they would have to kinda rush their coming out, it makes more sense for them to get together this season. theres pros and cons to each.

i ended up answering lots of questions you didnt even ask but i just wanted to talk about that cuz i dont see a lot of people debating whether the characters will confirm it to each other or if theyll just confirm it to the audience this season. but yeah thats what i think will happen next season with mike and will in either scenario.

#obviously im glad theyre clearly going in the direction of byler but i do think they should have implied it much more for casual viewers #bc people WILL think it came from nowhere if they kiss or something in volume 2 #the only way i could see them getting people not to think that is if they show a bunch of flashbacks to antimelvin moments and byler moments #ok im done now #stranger things #byler #eden answers

You feel rejected, without actually being rejected which must be very painful to think and feel. I want to let you in on a little secret though, it’s all in your head. It’s your mind making your biggest fears come to life so that you feel heartbroken. It’s your inner self’s shield for when you think the real rejection will come. But that heartbreak is not coming, so you broke your heart for nothing huns. There is nothing to do now, besides heal. It seems like you often debate how you would approach this person for when they come back, like you imagine what the conversation would be like. You also debate if you should use your heart or head when they come back, use both! Also, it seems like you want them back greatly, but you also want to tear them a new one. You want to be like, “I love you I love you I love you, so you should never leave me!” And then the other part of you wants to be like, “fuck off, YOU broke my heart!” (Hair flip) Just remember to say how you truly feel, but use both of your head and heart for when they come back. You’re also debating if you should give them another chance, and it may because you to meet someone new, but it could also be that you’re scared that things won’t be the same between you two. I see that you’re clinging onto old memories with them. But a commitment will come with this person, it could marriage, engagement, or maybe moving in with this person! But with this person, a new beginning will come, and it seems like both of you will be more nurturing to each other, you will be more reliable to each other. I see that both of you wanted this connection in the past, but you both were being wish washy with each other.

I see that you both bring out each other’s inner child. I just got that sometimes in public you act like fools, don’t do that (some people get annoyed by this.) But you both still have romantic feelings for eachtoher so don’t worry. This person is not only a past relationship you had in this life, but from another past life as well, so that could be why you feel like you’re missing something without them. You have this thing about you where if you’re not as accomplished, educated, or beautiful as others then you don’t deserve what they have. LIKE BITCH YOU DESERVE THAT SHIT TOO!!! YOURE BEAUTIFUL!!! YOURE SMART!!!! YOU GOT THINGS GOING ON!!!! YOU GOT THIS!!!! ♡♡♡ YOURE STRONG! YOU GOT A WHOLE ASS PERSON WILLING TO FIGHT POSEIDON AND ALL HIS STANK ASS FISH FRIENDS JUST TO TALK TO YOU!!!! You have potential for everything you want to accomplish and receive in life, you need to let the good thoughts grow and pour a shit ton of pesticides on the bad ones. Banish them back to the depths of your bag/purse that has all of those nasty ass crumbs that get under your nails when you’re digging around for your keys or a pen.

I also am getting that you’re scared of intimate moments because you may be self conscious of yourself. And for some it’s your body, but for other’s you’re scared of odors. LISTEN ok, i’m going to tell you a little something, YOU DO NOT SMELL. And sex smells nasty anyways for various reasons. There’s literally songs written about it 🙄 so chill with the negative Nancy thoughts. You’re always thinking about the negative, stop already. Is there any part of your life where your negative thoughts don’t take over??? Also it seems like you have a limitless amount of emotions, so please make sure to express them when you need to, it’ll make you feel a lot better.

Also if you were planning on being cold to this person, don’t because this person is going to throw that same energy back expect you’ll be like 👁👄👁(Stay Alive by BEXEY vibezzz here.) Because though this person is willing to fight for you, they’re not going to fight with you. Pick and choose your battles. Keep in mind that every little argument breaks the foundation in your connection. Also it seems that one of you or maybe both of you have family problems and you tend to take your frustrations out on the other person through fighting.
