This is lit one of the most Girlboss, Gaslight, Gatekeep characters

Bitch be trying to kill herself by jumping off a cliff but gets pulled back by a man, she then lets her king father put him and his teammates in mines as a slave because its embarassing to clarify things right duh. Then when the man dies she ressurects him via a evil sarchophagus machine and professes that he is her destiny because her mom was some delusional romantic who told her daughter about a man from the stars who would come for her. Then she dangles his friends stuck in the mines while she forces him to keep using the sarcophagus. Then she lets him go knowing he is too addicted and will come back.

there are so many amazing and powerful benders in atla but what i love about zuko is that whether or not he can use his bending in that moment has zero (0) bearing on how much he’s going to absolutely kick your ass. no bending? that’s fine - he’s got swords. no swords or bending? that’s fine - he’s literally just going to beat you up. if you’re REALLY unlucky then you get all three. as a treat.
