Jim hawkins and Luz noceda are the same character
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Okay. Hear me out.
They're both smart in a unconventional way.
They both have issues with traditional teaching (school)
They're both craving for a future and a purpose in life.
They both have insecurities regarding their self-worth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They both find a parental figure in a morally ambiguous outlaw who grow fond of them.
In both case, this new parental figure help them to grow as a person and figure out their future.
They both have a single mother who struggle to connect with them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They both have emotional scars regarding they're disappeared dad. (in very different ways but still)
Feel free to add more. I'm sure there's many similarities that I missed. Their character arc is also very similar.
My conclusion is that treasure planet is probably luz's favorite animated movie in universe. Also, I'm definitely gonna make a "treasure planet" au out of "the owl house".

for a large part of his life, ghost had a fear of snakes. with his father’s abuse planting that seed in childhood and roba only amplifying it through his torture, it isn’t much of a surprise at all.
but ghost… can’t stand for that. he doesn’t want this fear to have any power, because it means his father and roba still have a hold over him, even with the both of them long since dead. so ghost starts exposing himself to snakes, bit by bit. it isn’t the creature’s fault that he’s afraid of them, so he can at least try to do something about it.
and over time, with lots of therapy to pair with that exposure—ghost actually ends up falling in love with these creatures. they become his favourite animal in getting over his fear.
now—imagine snake shifter soap. a king cobra, large, powerful, venomous. he keeps his shifter form a secret because he doesn’t want people to be unnecessarily afraid of him; they have no reason to be, unless they give him one. only price and laswell know at this point.
then he catches word of ghost and his affinity. he’s already trusting with the lieutenant, more so than he should probably be, but he is. so there isn’t much thought behind revealing himself to ghost.
ghost is the first person to not show any sign of fear at soap’s shifted form. he instead just sits with this beast of a snake, trailing gloved fingers along the smooth pattern of soap’s scales. soap has never seen his lieutenant so… mesmerized. like a kid in a candy shop.
when soap shifts back, ghost asks a few questions, seemingly subconsciously rattling off a few facts about soap’s species that, honestly, some of which soap himself had no idea about.
some of which actually make soap deadlier in the field.
that little bonding moment propels their friendship forward, though it very well would have gotten to that point without soap’s shifter status. the process is just… sped up a little.
though, the snake shifter part does come with it’s benefits for ghost. when he’s already got a reputation and totes a skull mask around, it just makes him ten times more terrifying when he’s seen walking around base with a king cobra curled around his frame.

Is it possible that one of the villains of Gotham to develop an obsession with the reader like batfam? Like for example one of them once attended or attempted to attack at one of their performance but got mesmerized by them and decided to stalk them instead
I am now very much thinking about and considering this anon. Thanks for the new idea, I'll be thinking about all day 🙄 (okay, first, /pos, but really- this can easily change up a few more things and add some more conflict. I love it!!! Though maybe I'll make it a sub-series if I actually write it, since the "Not [ ]" is mostly focused on the Batfam, so kind of like an alternate universe type deal? I'm willing to know anyone's thoughts and suggestions on this.)
That can definitely happen, and it makes a lot of sense too when you really think about it (at least the part leading up to where the villian runs into the reader and encounters their music), especially when the reader is not only a well known musician- but known to be the kid of Bruce Wayne.
Even if no one really knows the identity of Batman, everyone and their dog knows Bruce Wayne. You'd have to do more than just live under a rock to not know that guy — especially in Gotham.
Just that fact alone — the reader being another kid adopted by Bruce Wayne — is definitely going to paint a target on their back, especially when they're in a big industry like music. The "well-known" part is just the sprinkles on top of the "you're fucked" cake. Even if I have said before that the reader isn't well-known to the point where they'd be considered super famous or popular, but enough to where people can still recognize them on the street and just kind of say "hey, isn't that the musician who played ( ) the other night? i heard they're pretty good, y'know."
Basically, someone trying to attack them for whatever reason, or even trying to kidnap them, is very possible and highly likely.
I can't say who in particular I think the villian would be? Only because I'm not sure myself, with how flexible the situation is.
The villian could be going to one of the reader's performances simply because there are a lot of other people attending, and if they want to make a grand performance of their own, or have a grand opening to a game, one of the reader's performances seem like the easiest way to do just that. So they settle in a little, waiting for everything to be just right... then they see the reader and whatever instrument they'll be playing, as they and the other performers wait for everyone to get in and settle down.
Maybe the villian hardly notices it at first, or it immediately catches their attention. Maybe they just roll their eyes and scoff or just become curious in some way. Maybe what makes them hate it/curious about it at first is the reader themself. The villian thinks the reader is just another rich kid trying to show off their 'talent'... or notices that the reader is from the Wayne family and that catches their attention, maybe.
Or, alternatively they try to assassinate or kidnap the reader. Maybe just rob them too while they're at it.
It doesn't matter how they get in- what does matter is that they don't know much about the reader besides that they're a musician of some kind and the kid of Bruce Wayne, and maybe for whatever mission they're doing- that's all they need to know. Or all they feel they need to know, as maybe they catch the reader in the middle of a performance no matter how they try to go about their mission — either planning to take the reader out from the backstage, drop them from beneath the floor boards, or snipe them from up top — and the villian hesitates as they really listen to the reader play once their focused is centered on them.
Regardless of how it starts, once it does- they're captived, near mesmerized by what they hear.
Before the villian even knows it, they're watching the entire performance. Any compliments they have towards the reader's music turn to the reader themself, and by the end of the night... the villian is caught in a trap of their own making.
If they were looking into the reader before, that research only delves deeper as they try to figure out each and every little thing about the reader. If they weren't really looking at information about the reader before, they definitely are now.
A simple 'interest' turns into a whole obsession, and now, as you've mentioned, are stalking the reader.
Maybe the villian even dedicates certain atrocities they do in the reader's name, maybe they attend and try to ruin the reader's performances because they believe they should be the only one to hear the reader's music, or just want to be all that much closer to them.
Maybe the villian tries to kidnap the reader, but just so that they can hold them close, or have them play all the tunes they wish to hear from the reader for the rest of eternity... however long that lasts. Who knows?
Tldr: It is very possible, and if anything, more likely than you think!
I hope this answered your question! If you or anyone else has another question, feel free to send in an ask! I'll try to answer them when I can!

You know what I love?
The whole idea of Raditz in the role of a nurturer.
I like the idea of him having a chance to go, "You know what? I don't actually wanna fight anymore. I don't actually LIKE fighting that much. I just HAD TO." Because it was such a deep part of the culture, he didn't really have an opportunity to see anything else as an option. And then there WASN'T any other option. If he wanted to survive.
And then he didn't.
But if he came BACK, and saw the changes... maybe he'd get a chance to make some CHOICES. I mean, for fuck's sake, he might come face to face with Dadgeta, and get his whole entire worldview rearranged. And if VEGETA can do THAT, but still go off and join the fight... Well... actually... Well, shit, everybody's so far beyond Raditz at that point, he doesn't really... HAVE to go fight...?
I like the idea of him being the one the kids can go to when they're SCARED. He's not as powerful as everyone else. He's been at the bottom of the pecking order. He knows what it's like to be AFRAID, and not really able to DO anything about it. He's got a different intimacy with doubt and self-doubt than Vegeta does, and I think he'd really quickly grow into way less of a hard-ass about it, in his own way, once he gets more of an understanding of what the kids have been through, and what their present is like. And what their future could be.
I like the idea of Trunks or Goten running to Uncle Raditz when they're totally overwhelmed by literally ANYTHING that could come up, I don't care, pick a plot point or conflict. And either blabbing it all out in a rush, or just stewing on it in silence. And him just receiving it all, with the same calm attentiveness he'd give an adult, and then giving them the most Peak Uncle Response imaginable. Words of wisdom; invitation to a minor crime; invitation to a food opportunity; advice on committing a minor crime; caring insistence that they make something right or correct a course of action, etc. Uncle Raditz.
I also adore the idea of him being a joyful Daditz to an absolute HERD of kids. His, a collective pile of everyone else's, a combination, doesn't matter. Just having the opportunity to BUILD SOMETHING with a new generation, and do things differently, and give them the good parts without all the worst parts. I want the kids who are old enough for missing baby teeth to complain about him letting the toddlers win when they arm wrestle him, and him to patiently explain that the toddlers are learning FORM; the older kids are training STRENGTH and TECHNIQUE, because they're ADVANCED. Now go see if they can put the glittery stickers on Goku when he's not looking.
I... I'm just in love with the whole idea.

Thinking about Omegaverse au with Alpha Dazai and Omega Chuuya, who only see themselves as partners in crime and nothing more until Dazai’s rut accidentally triggers Chuuya’s heat, and now they are bed partners hopelessly needy for one another.
Dazai who tries to play off that he doesn't need an omega, but finds his safe space in Chuuya’s nest while Chuuya threatens to kick Dazai’s ass but never actually kicks him out of his nest because the Alpha brings him comfort.

rick becomes super into multiversal travel after prime introduces him to it, very hyperfocused on it and the opportunities it presents (like how the gotron episode establishes that rick can get carried away unless someone reels him in). diane might initially be supportive of this but as rick's appearances around the house become more shoddy, she gets fed up and they separate. after a much more complex deterioration of their relationship obviously rick considers this a win at the time, since he's now free to dick around and do whatever he wants, essentially adopts prime's life philosophy and hangs around him. him and prime would eventually have some sort of falling out, which leaves rick extremely bitter and annoyed. he ends up spending most of his life alone, still living by his pop nihilistic ideals because he thinks this is what he wants. eventually he'd still end up squatting in prime's dimension and realizes that he actually Prefers this family life. his infatuation with prime could develop into resentment when he realizes that he essentially robbed rick of a comfortable, idealistic life

Post-Dance AU (because I hate how George decided to completely eradicate the Greens *cough* Alicent’s *cough* line)
Jaehaera survives the assassination attempt by Unwin Peake because that poor girl did not deserve that horrific end and that’s that.
She and Aegon III bond over time, because these traumatized kids deserve some happiness and you know what? Maybe they are the only two people in the world right now who understand even a semblance of what the other has gone through (Aegon watched his mother die, Jaehaera watched her twin brother be slaughtered) and maybe they both recognize that neither of them is responsible for what their families did to each other so why should they resent one another?
Over time they become a great comfort to each other. On the days where one is particularly gloomy, the other sits by them and holds their hand and they are content to sit in silence together and neither needs to say what they’re feeling because the other already knows.
They are both very close with Gaemon Palehair. He and Aegon are close for the same reasons as within canon, while Jaehaera believes that Gaemon truly is her half-sibling, her last remaining brother.
Eventually, Alyn Velaryon brings Viserys II home from Essos, but the boy comes alone (a 12-year-old boy married to a 19-year-old woman, yeah I think the fuck not, not in my history, and besides even if they had been closer in age Larra Rogare hated Westeros so let her stay in Essos like she wanted and live her own life there and be happy).
Like in canon, Aegon is somewhat neglectful of his wife and friend in the wake of his brother’s return, but Jaehaera and Gaemon understand his actions. Anyway, they still have each other for company. Viserys is incredibly distrustful of Jaehaera, and Aegon pleads with Viserys to be more understanding of their marriage and the comfort they have found in each other.
Aegon decides to hold a feast to celebrate Viserys’s return. Viserys spends most of the festivities with Baela and Rhaena, preferring not to fraternize with the daughter of the man who killed his mother. In the company of his sisters is Daenaera Velaryon (aged up in to be closer in age to Viserys because an 11-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl? It’s a no from me).
Daenaera manages to cheer Viserys with her happy nature, and he’s quite taken by how pretty she is. Unwin Peake, having never been exposed as the one behind Jaehaera’s assassination attempt (as is also the case in canon) brings his daughter to the feast in the hopes that she will catch the eye of Viserys, but Viserys has already taken a shine to Daenaera, ruining his plans once again.
The pair begin to exchange letters and (like Aegon and Jaehaera) bond over their losses. Viserys tells Aegon about his correspondence with Daenaera, and when Aegon tells Jaehaera, she decides to invite Daenaera to court as her lady-in-waiting. Viserys is delighted, and slowly begins to warm to Jaehaera.
As in canon, Aegon’s removal of the dragon eggs from the Red Keep causes a rift between the brothers. Unwin Peake continues to plot treason, conspiring to kill Aegon and Jaehaera so that Viserys may become King and take his daughter as his bride. But if his daughter is to become Viserys’s Queen, Daenaera Velaryon must also be removed. It is no secret by now that Viserys is very taken with the the girl, and intends to marry her.
Jaehaera and Daenaera eat the canonical poisoned tarts during a private dinner organized for the four. Aegon and Viserys narrowly avoid poisoning as they are delayed by a Small Council meeting. As in canon, Gaemon dies, devastating both Aegon and Jaehaera. The rift between Aegon and Viserys is mended as they help their respective ladies recover. Aegon and Jaehaera comfort each other through the loss of Gaemon, and Viserys proposes marriage to Daenaera, which she accepts. Oh, and Unwin Peake is finally exposed and executed (I still cannot believe this man escaped justice in canon, but not on my watch).
The four form a strong unit within the Red Keep and are, well, as happy as four traumatized young adults can be. They finally have the family each was deprived of at such a young age. Aegon eventually names Viserys his Hand, Jaehaera gives birth to Aegon’s five children, and Daenaera gives birth to Viserys’s three.
But unfortunately, canonical events must still come to pass. Aegon and Jaehaera pass away within months of each other in 157 AC; Daenaera dies some years later, and Viserys becomes his stern canonical self in the wake of her death. The crown passes from Aegon, to Daeron, to Baelor, to Viserys himself, to Aegon IV, who legitimizes the Blackfyres- who are now the descendants of both the Blacks and the Greens.

How funny would it be if I just made a RaNDom Minecraft AU about a group of Transformers landing on the planet Minecraft takes place on?
And then, like, all of the rules of Minecraft would apply there—and I mean ALL the rules. Everything from respawning to crafting, no matter how bizarre.
And the “players”(AKA Steve and Alex) are just out on their own when day by day they feel like they’re being watched, and ultimately followed. Until one day they come across A BIG FUCKIN TITAN!
Then soon after, they finally come across the Transformers. And they all transform into local Minecraft mobs.
hehehe lol imagine one of them turns into a big ass creeper, that’d give anyone a heart attack
The group has been there for a while… like for… I dunno maybe 415, or so, in human years? But I’m thinking the time on “Planet Minecraft” would be drastically different if going by game rules.
But they’d still be absolutely unassuming when it comes to the rules of the world. So far, they’d avoid villagers, pillagers, and other life forms, but still try to blend in.
It isn’t until Steve and Alex and maybe other certain “players” and maybe “glitches” discover them and later befriend them.

So I’m obsessing over this and I just had to share it
ok so recently I came up with this idea so let me ramble
so what if Infinity affected how Gojo ages? like, slowing down the rate at which he ages to be infinitely small, so he basically stays the same age forever? and if I use that for like, fix purposes it would start happening at like 17 because that’s when he really started getting super OP and became “the strongest”
so like, he just stays at 17 forever because it would basically take the amount of numbers between 0 and 1 in years for him to age one year, which is infinite because maths and stuff
this also has great potential for ANGST because like, all his friends are getting older and he’s still staying the same. and as a TEACHER his students are all about the same physical age as him but they’re eventually gonna be older (if they live long enough) than him (the sad bit applies ESPECIALLY to Megumi because Gojo basically raised the kid and now he’s getting older and aaaaaaaaaaa)
also, the way some people (cough cough Geto) would react when they see that he hasn’t aged in the past decade would be absolutely hilarious I think, cause like “hey bro how come you haven’t aged?” “oh yeah it’s because infinity or whatnot but anyways hi old man”
like it has so much potential as so much like it could be hella angsty but also kinda nice because BECAUSE he could keep teaching and helping to fix the system for basically forever but also THAT would be hella angsty too because he has to see all of his students die either from old age or because of curses so literally everyone he cares about will die while he just. stays alive. like, there’s so much potential for ANGST here and I love it
so yeah that’s all but if there are suggestions please comment them because I might actually make this into a fic and don’t you DARE steal this idea even though I don’t know if this has actually been thought about before but oh welp. but yeah I’m absolutely obsessed with this idea and I needed to share so hope the people like it.
