the second they made buck bi i watched the whole show for the first time, took a week, finished just before the latest episode came out. this obviously means i do not know my first thing about anything, most theories and fanon storylines included. what is the most important stuff that i need to know? the more deranged and delusional the better 🌸

Full disclosure, I've only started watching 911 since season 6, so there are years of fandom lore/drama that I'm not even aware of. I really recommend checking out blogs such as @captain-hen @gracieryder @maygrcnt who have been around here MUCH longer (I'll tag more people in the morning) & follow @911bts who keeps track of literally EVERYTHING 911.
Okay, 911blr 101 is couch theory. What is couch theory you ask? well, it all starts at the beginning of S6 when Buck's couch (or lack there of) was used as a metaphor for Buck's romantic relationships. In S5, when Taylor moved into Buck's apartment replaced Buck's couch (that he got with Ali) with her own. When Buck and Taylor broke up, she took the couch with her, leaving Buck couchless. The connection between girlfriends and couches first comes up during a conversation with Buck, Eddie, and Christopher. Buck's struggle to find the 'perfect' couch reflects Buck's struggle to find the perfect person to partner up with. At the end of the episode, Buck decides to move his armchair where the couch used to be, signifying that he is trying to become comfortable with himself outside of a relationship.
Then we get to the start of S6b. Buck's parents come to town, Buck gets struck by lightning (as one does), and his parents buy him a new couch. There is probably some metaphor there about family and blah blah blah, but that doesn't matter because the couch is uncomfortable and Buck can't sleep on it and everyone keeps bothering him, and who does Buck run to? He runs to Eddie. And then he falls asleep on Eddie's couch.
and like this is a big fucking deal. because it shows that he is comfortable with Eddie! he feels safe in Eddie's home! he is more safe and comfortable on Eddie's couch than he is on his own and Eddie welcomes him there!! and couch = romantic relationship, so falling asleep on eddie's couch = relationship with Eddie???? There is another scene in S6 where Christopher falls asleep on the couch and people are like!! we are connecting the dots! (we were not connecting the dots)
and then!!!! the Kameron gives birth on Buck's couch and the couch is ruined and then y'all never guess what happens. In one of the last scenes of s6 Buck asks his brand new love interest Natalia if she wants to go couch-shopping and everyone is like WTF???? aren't we past this?? didn't we just have this conversation about NOT buying a couch with ur gf at the beginning of this season???

Even if I take a hot minute to actually answer asks due to lack of energy, I appreciate and enjoy when people get curious about my ocs <3
So to answer your questions! Get ready for Lore
Did KJ BUY the worm ?
KJ did not buy Jamie, Jamie wasn't even worm-shaped to begin with!
KJ's parasite is an abnormal Floral Parasite - but even that categorization is slightly misleading because Jamie is first and foremost a Regen Parasite.
What are these parasite types I'm talking about?
To start off with, there's Minor and Major Parasites
Minor Parasites are generally considered "low-effort" on the account that they provide a handful of attributes to their host (e.g. color change of eyes or hair, horns, claws, fangs, tails etc.) without asking for much in return.
Minor Parasites are easy to get your hands on, easy to buy, and sadly easy to replace. If a host just thinks of parasites as accessories and don't bond with them, they tend to wither away quickly and you'll have to replace them if you want to maintain attributes. Great for business, bad for the little guys (parasites)
This is easily countered by acknowledging and respecting one's parasites, but if people grow up only knowing of parasites as fun accessories you can buy and mess around with, they wouldn't really know better. Doesn't help with how parasites are marketed
Now to Major Parasites!
Major Parasites are companions! These aren't as common to buy due to controversies of modifying Major Parasites as they're more complicated things on the account of being more "sentient" (Minor Parasites are sentient as well, but don't possess the ability manifest their own body so to speak. Quite at the whim of their host)
Jamie is a Major Parasite, and a Regen Parasite, which is a type of Transformative Parasites.
How did they meet ??
Great question! Regen Parasites are just kind of There. Whether people are born with them or get them really young isn't quite clear. Some say it's genetic, some say it's region-based, some say through tradition - but it's pretty inconclusive because Transformative Parasites are a pretty broad category.
So, Jamie has been with KJ since they were young! And Jamie was not worm-shaped as I mentioned earlier, it looked like this initially
Just a fluffy comfy glitter beast, which KJ never actually saw physically due to being plagued by violent intrusive thoughts when they were younger, and so Jamie would never physically manifest while KJ was awake as its goal was to comfort KJ to manage dealing with that stuff.
A trait of Regen Parasites is that they love their host unconditionally, and accept their host in their entirety. In KJ's case this helps significantly for them not to beat themself up due to intrusive thoughts because Jamie doesn't think less of them at all. Intrusive thoughts stand no chance against a fluffy brain beast <3
Also you might notice KJ looks miserable in that drawing and that's because they are. They were the weird (and repressed) kid with OCD and autism, and sometimes other kids just found them off putting or too weird, and perhaps also annoying because KJ really loves being around other people, but a lot just push them away and they end up not picking up on any hints that people want to be left alone because it's not said straight up </3
Despite his best efforts to stop being a weirdo just so he'd be able to be around others, it made KJ miserable :<
Anyhow, back to Jamie and its wormification.
The way Jamie became worm-shaped is due to merging with a Floral Parasite that was infected with a Mushroom Parasite!
Yes, parasites can also be infected by parasites, and those parasites are Mushroom/Fungi Parasites
So, Floral Parasites are a type of parasite you can contract through ingesting or smoking certain plants. Most common Floral Parasite is Spiced Mint Parasites, which is just straight up weed with mint taste. and maybe also a parasite in it if you're (un)lucky.
And so it happens KJ smoked a splumt (Spiced Mint Blunt) that had an abnormal Floral Parasite in it, which then merged with Jamie and that is a good thing.
It is not advised to have more than one Major Parasite because it can both strain the Parasite Bond with the host, and in the worst case scenario the parasites aren't compatible and might result in death. Risky stuff!
But all is well because KJ became even weirder and the freak he is now
I don't know where to go from here, but here's a list of Jamie's attributes!

Note that the mushroom parasite has affected the attributes of the other parasites, so the categories aren't clear cut.
REGEN PARASITE ATTRIBUTES
Turbo healing
Able to rebuild tissue and bones
Basically can revive someone from death if within minutes of the person's death by slithering mulitple tentalces from its mouth into the wound, practically rebuilding the tissue and releasing chemicals that jumpstart the body to work again.
Stings like a fucking bitch tho holy shit. Like pure alcohol but worse somehow
Their saliva has healing attributes. Not as effective as the worm's mouth tentacles.
Increased strength and indurance. They can crush things with their bare hands with little issue. Like phones.
FLORAL PARASITE ATTRIBUTES
No gag reflex. Can't have KJ choke on it every time it comes out.
KJ can hold their breath for a stupid amount of time, but they are also able to breathe thru the parasite.
High lung capacity
Can float around KJ when complete out. It is solid to touch, but it will also avoid touch from anyone else than KJ. Try to grab it and it will disperse its form and gather together again into a solid body out of reach.
will whack you in the face with its face or tail like a wet trout if you do this, so maybe don't. It Will Hurt.
MUSHROOM PARASITE ATTRIBUTES
KJ can speak thru the parasite and can alter their voice.
KJ's jaw is very flexible.
Connection to the fungi parasite network. This does not affect KJ whatsoever, but now every single mushroom parasite in existence know how much of a freak they are.

so i’ve been kinda existing and looking at your work for quite some time. ever since the hikari yo flipnote back on sudo in i think it was 2017? and ever since i was hooked on your artwork and your animations. learning about hotarubitale and how someone was just making these things and having fun was so inspiring to me.
unfortunately i was kind of out of the undertale fandom at that time and i sort of just had you as an artist i liked to look at every now and again… and then you started getting back into errink and with that i discovered rsp and treehouse and i slowly started to look at your works again. rsp actually helped me process something in my life that i realized was a really shit situation… and i got out of it. treehouse has slowly been becoming a cute comfort to me as well. the cutlery animatic helped me process things in my life. i really loved how you explored niji’s grief in it and it was such a unique take on ink and RAAH!!
now i’m back at your blog, rereading rsp, rereading hotarubitale, looking at your art or your fun reblogs every now and it. just made me rediscover a lot of the joy i had in the undertale and by extension underverse lore again. all the things that you do to talk about your favorite little sanses and of course gin has made me really happy again? your art has inspired me and has taught me “it’s okay to draw the shit you like because someone’s gonna love it.”
when you reblogged your old comic about niji seeing hotarubitale again it sparked me to revisit my old aus i made when i was 12.., and now i’m recreating it, having fun, and im being a little goober imagining ink being all happy to see those dumb names getting a brand new fresh banger coat of paint

hope its okay im about to. infodump. im putting it under the cut. this is so long this is so much more than u asked for hopefully tgm doesn't kill me for explaining the plot. lol
alright. lets go again. iota is a part of a project called the whittled pantheon, which tells the story of eleven gods-ish and their experiences. its kinda broadly complicated and im only here to tell iota lore rn so if you want more general lore check the "whittled pantheon" tag link in my pinned!
okay so iota. pronouns she/it/moon although i largely default to she. oops. its the goddess of the wild - deepest darkest nights, moon and stars, the forests. uncivilized area. grass taller than ur head. wildflowers. u get the idea. she has a brother, agathodaemon, who's the god of the tamed (he's written by the lovely lovely tgm). iota is very introverted and prefers to spend most of her time in the woods with her conditionally immortal wolfpack. moon doesn't interact with humans and is. so very uncivilized please do not bring moon into the court room oh god
whittled pantheon itself as a story is split into essentially two parts - the old world, where the gods are born and spend the most time, and the new world, where the gods flee after the destruction of the old world. in the old world, iota's very reclusive. this is where you see it vibing with its pack and being a woods girly. she interacts mostly with agathodaemon, as well as statikos (god of beasts, written by tweewig) and palaemon (water god). she does interact with the other gods but like. infrequently. and never with humans.
so time goes on. agathodaemon builds a giant city on the coast and its destroying natural resources and iota goes okay this is no longer cool. she and palaemon get together and confront daemon and they're like hey buddy. stop. agathodaemon temporarily stops and then comes back, resulting in a massive falling out between daemon and iota. then, palaemon dies mysteriously, and his death starts the destruction of the world, starting with a flood that wipes out daemon's city. lol karma i guess.
the catalyst is what we've been calling the destruction of the world (the balance of the world is fucked up. water dries up, world shatters from inside out). the gods kinda collectively get together for once and go alright. oh shit. and Leave. but in the process they leave iota behind
iota now has to survive the literal destruction of her entire known world. moon is the only god left on the old world, and she's surrounded by humans who fundamentally make no sense to it and also need/want it to save them. but iota cannot save them because she is one god left alone. she tries, though. she meets lots of humans one of whom it becomes like. very good ambiguous 'besties' with. this is fortuna. she changes iota's entire perception of the world. but you know the world is dying and all of the humans die and iotas immortality is like. dripping down the drain and she cannot find a way back. but daemon comes to the rescue because even after everythign he loves her. the whole rescue bit has a whole Other set of worldbuilding lore and explanations that i will not get into here just know that its a thing. they make it back to the new world and start to Heal.
im not going to explain anything else because spoilers. but. i think all this is good to talk about. hopefully. or tgm will fucking kill me /j. but yeah. god. this was somuch more than you asked for.......... well enjoy anyways <3

hello ms. esther! sorry for suddenly intruding, but i've seen you a lot on my dash n just wanted to say hi! and, well, to also give this tiny brainrot about u and wanderer in offering haha:
i don't know much about your personal lore, but seeing your art for throwaway-yandere's wood vs salt fic had me Thinking Thoughts. do you remember how in the beginning of wanderer-era, before he got his memories as scaramouche back, wanderer was pretty calm and nice? a little ditzy or, well, easily distracted sometimes, yes, but generally, he seemed like someone safe (or at the very least, like he wouldn't suddenly stab you in the back).
what if he met you while in this state? before the traveler found him and brought him back to the sanctuary of surasthana? what if he saw you and felt some dim, compelling force in the hollow of his chest where his heart should be (the lingering influence of irminsul, the all-encompassing obsessive love that scaramouche had for you you you—) when he sees you, a passing visitor in the grand bazaar, and quietly wonders if he's met you before.
now, this could go in many different ways depending on whether or not you remember him (even with irminsul's deletion of scaramouche's existence) and if he decides to do anything about that. one such timeline, like the wood vs salt-esque au, would be so interesting because, well, he doesn't remember pantalone ever being that close to you before. he doesn't remember you working for alhaitham either.
but you still look the same. still smile the same. still blush, huff, and laugh the same and wanderer can't help but cling to that (can't help but listen to the snake-like whispers just behind his ear to hold onto you, tighter this time, and make sure you'll never leave again).
some things are different. some things are the same. and all these unwanted anomalies are easy enough to correct, with or without his vision.
he's learned from the best, after all.

The Grand Bazaar is as bustling as ever. Her nose gets hit with the damp, yet fresh air of the hidden city nestled underneath Sumeru's Great Tree.
At once, Esther hears the quiet, lively atmosphere of the merchants, the lingering tune of a song in Zubayr Theater (Sadly, Nilou will not be dancing today.), and the smell of freshly-made street food, minus the bugs that so happens to linger on the stalls.
This place almost ticks all her checkboxes of a "safe space".
almost.
She found herself sitting beside a food stall, waiting for her order to arrive. In Esther's defense, the food was quite tempting. Scented Meat Balls always have a thing going for her mouth. One moment it's there, the next…an empty platter and greasy hands.
A very pleasant experience, 10/10.
With nothing better to do, she rummaged for her shoulder bag and pulled out a small notepad. Some of the signatures are falling off, the purple yarn barely holding it together, and the handmade cover is dirtied with charcoal stains.
Carefully tightening the seams with a sigh, she then looked around, looking for someone to draw. She wouldn't want to ask someone for permission, no. She has to be discreet; quick, yet accurate.
The last time she got "caught", Esther was quite embarrassed, although her subject at the time was quite flattered and even offered some good critiques at her pose anatomy before being dragged off by Alhaitham, of all people.
Alhaitham, your current boss, and the current Acting Grand Sage of Sumeru. Who assigned you to Varanara, just six hours ago.

Esther shook her head in an attempt to dispel the frankly annoying and intrusive thoughts in her head. Quickly putting her notepad, aside, she thanked the waitress and tested the waters on the meat balls, still smoking.
Ow. Too hot.
Her eyes roamed around the bazaar like a camera, looking for interesting people to draw. Interesting poses to draw. A merchant selling fruits, a vendor calling for customers. Quite banal.

Her hands fly towards the notepad, leaves ruffling as she attempts to find an empty page.
The slight off-colored white invites her in to draw the first line, to fill it up with her lines, to see the figure of a person, the someone she chose to draw.
Reaching out again, she tests if the balls are too hot. Feeling the warm, crumbly texture of the finger food, she eats one whole and quickly focuses on the task at hand.
She looks quickly.
He's not looking at her. Perfect.
She quickly dismissed the hat in her drawing. That thing is a pain to draw quickly, she thinks, instead opting for just an ellipse with shaded points.
She quickly deconstructs his relaxed figure, filling it up with more details as the platter beside her grows more and more empty with each passing hour
He doesn't look like he's from here, Esther figures as she draws the man's robes- kimono, she corrects herself- hanging loosely on his figure, making for quite the focus on his high-collared undershirt-
Esther chokes on a crumb. Coughing, she hides her face on her arm and shakes her head again. Taking a bite out of the meatballs, carefully this time, she erases the quite scandalizing abs on her drawing, scolding herself for the…distraction.
She tries to finish the figure without looking this time. A large gold ornament on his left chest… hair shaped like a weird bowl cut…red eyeliner…
hang on.
She glances again. He did not seem to notice, and was still facing away from her, talking to what she presumes is his boss.
how did i know his eyeliner is red?
Her gaze lingers on the drawing, slightly smudging the freshly-drawn face as she traces its jaw. She thinks hard, her eyebrows furrowing, the tapping of her pencil serving as a pendulum for her thoughts.
think, think, think.
She tries to chase the thought, but it slips away from her grasp like a falling leaf amid a strong breeze. Whatever the thought is... she deems it not important.
Esther looks at her drawing again, and her grip makes a dent in the notepad. This drawing, this pathetic croquis of a figure...it's too ugly. It doesn't even shine a light on the guy. This drawing of hers is too disgusting to see the light of day.
The left arm is too long, the face is off, the torso is contorted unnaturally, the fingers are unproportioned, the face is off, the eyes are off, the eyes are off, the eyes are off-

She tears off the page, throws it on a random garbage bag, and leaves the bazaar in lower spirits than when she came.
so much for relaxation.
If she dared to look back, the subject of her interest has filched the torn paper.
Behind the tree, his errand remained forgotten, the fruits on the forest floor as he traced every uneven line that captured his inhuman self, marvelling at the seemingly glorious art in his hands.
Why did she discard it? he can only wonder as he gingerly holds the paper like it's a treasured possession of his. He does not understand. Why did she throw it away?
Should he find her? He thinks about it, but then considers his chances. An unknown person asks for her, saying something about knowing her vaguely and asking to come with him? He might as well parade around Sumeru City with the biggest hat he could find, yelling loudly.
What name would he give her when she asks for it?
He is a shugenja; a wanderer, as he calls himself. A tree with no roots. Somebody with no home, no kin, no destination. Someone with no name, no identity to hang on with. Trekking across Teyvat to train himself...it's just an excuse.
That's how absurd this is.
So why is he so hung up on this one person who drew him in such a human fashion? What is there to her that piqued him?
Have we met before?
He sighs, and folds the paper, tucking it in his hat. He picks up the sunsettias on the ground, and makes way to the nearby river to wash it.

I know we have a reverse au/reader is from the abyss au but in light of recent certain content (possible spoilers btw!)
What if reader was from Enkanomiya, had the blood of the watatsumi retainers, so they probably have those vishap forms (and a cool looking set of eyes) so they appear in liyue with a mask like Tsumi from the event! By this time, childe would have been turned into mothman and Zhongli is keeping an eye on him.
He is probably very curious about the not-so-human reader like??? You smell like a lizard but ur clearly a human... and the mask! Are u like him perhaps?
So he just... stays by your side, going all over you like some sort of cute dog curious about ur scent. He finds comfort in it after being with you for so long! Zhongli leaves him to you (and simultaneously leaving you to him, just in case)
And then in a hurt/comfort kind of deal, when mothman is revealed to be the one who nearly drowned liyue, everyone hated him obviously. So your only option was to go back to Enkanomiya and maybe spend your days there terrorizing the local hilichurl or two or maybe fighting some abyss herald or lector. Childe would find comfort in there, being near the abyss and constantly fighting!
Ofc since the reader is also a vassal/retainer of watatsumi, they welcome them with open arms so if it gets too lonely, reader and childe can have a date in Watatsumi :)
If you have any brainrots to add please I beg add them I love Enkanomiya and the continuous lore we are getting from it so adding my favorite mothman and Enkanomiya is a big glee from me!

alright alright consider this- you're a descendant of the Vassals of Watatsumi and therefore have more experience and intuition when it comes to divine creatures like Vishaps or Archons or Abyssal monsters, yeah? what if you go to Liyue because you noticed the Abyssal darkness that Enjou (ENJOU MY BELOVED) released as part of the Abyss and Vishaps' deal beginning to affect the environment (maybe you're less affected at first because you're only partially non-human), and you want to seek help from an Archon who isn't the Raiden Shogun because she's not going to help anyways, and the next nearest nation is Liyue.
of course you're crushed to find that Rex Lapis is apparently dead, as he was basically the best choice to perhaps help you with this situation, and spend a few days wandering the city both to grieve and observe human life. eventually you run into Zhongli, who immediately sees that you're non-human and consoles you over Rex Lapis' "death" (Zhongli you FUCK) and you two quickly become friends. he keeps teaching you about life outside Enkanomiya and one day takes you back to his house, where you meet Childe.
and Childe is IMMENSELY curious about you, from your mask to your clothes to your odd scent to the mysterious Enkanomiya you mention in conversation, and he sticks around you and both of you become very, very close, which is exactly what Zhongli had in mind.
even though you're decently happy in Liyue, you DO want to go back to Enkanomiya and begin preparing for the trip back. Childe is crestfallen and whimpers and nudges your hands the entire time that you're planning a route- he desperately wants to stay with you, he likes you very much!!! Zhongli eventually asks you to take Childe with you, as he can't stay in the Harbor due to the Osial incident, and you agree as Childe chirps happily and snuggles against your neck.
when you get back to Enkanomiya, though, the entire land is shrouded in darkness from the Towers of the Void. Childe loves it, the Abyssal magic resonating with him and the thrill of battle returning, but he notices you're not faring well. in fact because you're a Vassal descendant the Abyssal darkness affects you as well, and you're gradually getting sicker as it poisons you. eventually it cumulates in you collapsing one day and not getting up when Childe nudges you, like a dead sort of sleep.
and so Childe's left alone again, with your ill, fretfully sleeping self.

the amount of sadness i feel hearing kilgharrah say “none of us can choose our destiny, merlin. and none of us can escape it” is INSANE cuz in season one you can SEE merlin trying to escape it. hes doing his damned best trying to have some control over his life. and then in later seasons you can see the light slowly drain from his eyes as he becomes just another toy for the gods to be entertained by. he realises he cant control a single thing about his life so he does the one thing he can: protect arthur. and he loses SO MUCH because of it! its not fair, he deserved so much, and when he finally got everything he could ever ask for, it was taken away from him by his own mistakes.

it’s all because of the random zhongli dream anon 😭 i couldn’t get him out of my mind until i wrote a loooong fic for him. the idea of his darling being with him since the archon war days is my favorite! i’ve always had a soft spot for it, ever since i was trying to figure out what a yandere zhongli might look like back in november. it’s just... genuinely horrifying to imagine being stuck with that for thousands of years. especially when people view rex lapis so highly in liyue, darling feels even more alone on her festering feelings. there’s no relief to be had.
i think i’ll do a big ol headcanon post because the world for yan zhongli and his god darling is so big, i’ve given it a Lot of thought. but the main gist of it is how darling deals with the inaccurate portrayal of their history together. and of course, she interacts with others, since zhongli has the reassurance from the contract that she won’t try to escape. so there’s a lot of angst there. 😭

howdy! i'm sundae
i'm nonbinary i and use he/they pronouns
my main interest changes a Lot (it'll usually be in my desc), but overall i like things like splatoon, madness combat, cookie run (sorta), various shape games like jsab and project arrhythmia, twisted wonderland, danganronpa (sorta), hlvrai, mlp, and plenty of other stuff i'll probably reblog here
